After some apologies and some scolding Bruce was finally able to cool her down or maybe it Emma wasn't that good at scolding someone so she stopped or maybe it was because the bell saved him from her wrath but all in all, he got a final warning to not sleep at the time of her lesson.

"I know you were sleeping and she was angry at you but why did she have to scold me as well? " Jean asked with an angry face while taking a bite from the meat on her plate.

"Maybe she had a fight with her husband or something. " Bruce said eating the meat on her plate at very fast speed.

"But I think she is not married yet. " Jean said with a confused face.

"Then she is at that time of the month. " Bruce said taking another plate of food that he ordered not long ago.

"What do you mean? " hearing his explanation Jean got even more confused.

"You know what I mean. You that time when girls… " Bruce was explaining as if he is explaining something wise but Jean didn't agree with him.

"Can you not be so shameless? "Jean quickly shouted at him so he doesn't finish his sentence.

"Fine if you don't want to hear why do you bother asking. " Bruce said face which said 'Fine it has nothing to do with me so why do you even ask me? ' and continued eating.


"Fine let's not talk about her. " Jean also felt it was really an unnecessary topic as they have already got shouted at so there is no point in being worried about what already transpired so she decided to ask about what he might have missed while sleeping "Anyway what do you think about the Oscorp Industries. "

"Why should I care? " Bruce asked with a confused face while thinking inside with a serious face 'I know very well that is the place woned by the Green Goblin but more importantly that is also the place where Peter will become spiderman. Speaking of Peter I think it is still a few years from when he becomes Spiderman after all if he were at the same age as me he should be in this school and because of his unique quality I would already know him. '

"As I thought you weren't able to hear the announcement about the tour. " Jean said with a helpless smile looking at him eating plate after plate of meat and rice while getting worried 'I am really afraid when we marry how will I cook so much for him???  '

"Do you mean to say we are going on a tour in the Oscorp Industries? " Bruce asked stopping from chewing the meat in his mouth.

"Yes, we are going on a study tour to learn about their new discoveries in the scientific community. " After her explanation, Jean took a glass of water to end her meal while looking at him taking another bowl of rice while still chewing the meat in his mouth.

"I see. " nodding her words, Bruce continued his meal while not caring much about this trip, after all, there is still time for spiderman to show up and it will only be a formality for him to go there.

"Bruce. " After Jean was finished with her meal called with a satisfied smile.

"I am done with lunch so how about we return back to the classroom? " Jean proposed with a smile.

"No, I need to eat some more. " Bruce said shaking his head as he still felt hungry.

"You have already eaten more than 20 bowls of rice and if I am not wrong 8 kg of meat at the very least. " Jean said with a twitching lip than with a worried face she asked "How much more are you going to eat? "

"Well I don't know how much I ate but I think I am half full so I will still eat half of the amount that I just finished and keep the rest for something for later. " Brice said not minding her worried face.

"Are you serious? " Jean who just stood up sat down on her seat again hearing his replay with a shocked face.

"If you don't, believe me, you can just watch me eat and that way I will prove to you that I don't lie. " Bruce continued eating.

"You know from what I remember from yesterday's lunch you didn't eat this much.  " Jean said while cursing her heart for falling in love with him and from the feeling she has she knows she is falling further in the deep abase of love the more she stays with him even after all of his awful characteristics after all even he also has some amazing sides as well.

"well, that is because I ate 30 big burgers before lunch every day but today because of Miss Emma I wasn't. " Bruce explained.

"Did you say 30 big burgers but when? " Jean asked with a confused face not believing him, after all, she is always with him in the school.

"You remember after we arrive at the cafeteria I go outside after ordering our meal and you stay here to receive our meal. " 

"Do you meanwhile I am watching boringly you go eat till your fill and then you come back to finish the meal with me. " Jean asked with a bit of anger.

"I thought you knew but it turns out you didn't. " Bruce said with a face of not understanding why she is complaining.

"How on Earth fo you expect me to know when you didn't explain anything to me? " Jean asked with a furious tone.

"But I thought I explained it to you. " Bruce said not caring for her satisfaction as more foods are needed to be finished by him.

"No, you didn't. " Jean shouted at him with a dark face.

"That's fine now you know so can you please not shout I am eating here. " Bruce said with a serious face.

Understanding her shouts can bring some problems while he is eating Jean quickly calm down and said "I am… "

*Boom*

As she was about to apologize for the earlier shout someone suddenly crashed on Bruce's back and made his face crashing in the rice bowl as she quickly jumped near him with fear and asked with worry "Bruce? "

If you have an issue with my writing skills then I can only say sorry because I don't have enough time to do a recheck but if I find any mistakes when I have time I will fix the errors.

I'm planning on graduating early, maybe go to collage and get a degree, then start to run my company while also doing the whole superhero thing.

I have been Running the company but I haven't shown up if that makes any since. Since I haven't graduated highschool, much less collage I didn't want to be the face of the company like Tony stark does because nobody would take me seriously. so I've been sending my robots, though they are using my I.D. masks to look human and there all run my Alfred. Though because I named my company Tennyson industries and my last name is Tennyson I bet sheild already knows that I'm the CEO.

I've also made some progress, I've used the skeleton keys for reference and I created a portal generator, it's really small to, only the size of a house key. It can open portals to any world, parallel world, time line, or even different dimension with more worlds within, like a dimension with the naruto world. Though I have no plan on using this so far.

And on a recent note, I developed my spark, the anodite spark to be precise. I don't know how, it might be because the super serum I used on myself but I don't really know. I don't even know my grandparents within this universe, so I don't know if my grandma was an anodite like she was in the ben 10 show. 

I have been training it though. I haven't really used any spells because we'll I think you need a spell book to learn them and maybe different Languages But I have been training the basic stuff. Things I watched Gwen do in ben 10. I can step in the air on platforms, I can create energy beams and constructs and use them pretty well. I've even been using anime moves like Kamehameha, and destructo disk. though my energy looks a bit different, it's green not pink. I don't know if anodite's in this reality  use green energy or maybe the omnitrix has something to do with it.

Though the new anodite powers have been a huge help, because I can use mana constructs I can safely work with the corrodium. I was able to figure out how to stabilize it and even use it as a energy source. I turned the corrodium power plant into a corrodium arc reactor facility. The new corrodium arc reactor glows purple and is five time more powerful than the kormite arc reactor. It has enough energy to power all of new York with clean energy for 10 years. Though I'm not giving it to new York, I might work with stark later with it though. 

I've also be doing the heroing thing alot, I got out at night when the streets are the most dangerous to save people, then during the day I go to school then go home, get an hour of rest then get to work on some projects.

Though it's only been a month so far since I've started this hero thing. I haven't seen Felicia yet but then again she's slippery, she always manages to get away and that's if she caught, she's a master in stealth so it's hard to catch her in the first place. 

As for the accual superheroing I've saved alot of people, I've already been in the newspaper. I haven't been seen yet by any phone of camera so I don't have a picture in the paper but then again I work at night, and my costume is black and green so I kinda blend into the shadows.

I'm pretty sure iron man is about to come out. Tony stark has already come back from the kidnapping and has started on his suit.

Speaking of suit, I've upgraded mine once more, I created nanotechnology. I've been using it to store my suit inside of a ring that is connected to me, with a thought I can suit up.

Though the nanotechnology was just a minor success into the nanite project. The nanotechnology works just like tony starks but it's not what I wanted, I need something that can store it's self within me, in my bloodstream and stuff.

If I have upgraded nanites in my blood I could save myself alot of trouble, if any blood leaves my body, like when I'm injured I could order the nanites to destroy the blood so nobody could know who I am or how I'm strong.

Though I have been using the nanotechnology for alot more now, I've been using them to build things, and make components to things I need, to create upgraded medical equipment. I plan of using the nanotechnology to create thing to sell from my company.

I've also upgraded the spiderman suit I've been working on. I created it based on the same design as my suit with nanotechnology, I've created it into a ring and peter and mine are the once voices to get the suit to work. You just have say or think deploy and the suit will come on line, and because it's nanotechnology the suit can change shape, design, and colors with but a thought. plus it has its own A.I that's the same level as Jarvis and it has all the cool gadgets too.

Right now I'm once again ontop of the Empire state building, it's been my favorite place to over look the city.

I keep watch over the beautiful city until I see somthing from the corner of my eye, a person in a red and blue suit, swinging to something. It seems important.

I tap the omnitrix and bring up the alien selection and spin until I have my alien, I then slap down the dial snd start changing.

I grow taller, my arms and legs thiner, I grow wings, but I also get stronger and colder. strangely the cold dosent bother me now, but most importantly I feel as if I'm here but not here, it's weird.

"BIG CHILL" Ben

I unfold my wings and start to fly after spiderman, though I did turn invisible. I don't want people seeing a giant blue moth flying around. I follow spiderman and it seems like he's fighting a small gang in a alley, I land on top of the building before changing back then sitting on the edge of the building, watching as he beats them up.

He's really good, thought that's only really because of his spider sense telling him when to dodge. I could maybe train him in certain martial arts.

He finishes pretty quickly, then starts to wrap them up, it looks like he was about to swing away when I call him out. 

"You know, your not very good." Azrael

He gets startled then starts to look around, then finally sees me up on the room. he shoots a Web up top and pulls him self up real fast then lands not but ten feet away. 

"I'm not very good, I just took out like over ten people." Spiderman asked confused. 

"Yes you did, but only really because you can sense when they are attacking and were to dodge right, you can't really fight worth shit, I doubt you ever really learned, then again you never really did go to a dojo peter." Azrael 

spiderman looked stunned by what I said and started to analyze what I said, and he realized I was right then he finally got what I said. 

"How do you know who I am." spiderman asked taking off his mask.

"Well its not that hard really peter, you got bitten on our school field trip by a spider from oscorp then suddenly out of no where here comes spiderman." Azrael said then his hood and visor retract down into the rest of the suit. 

"Ben" Peter asked stunned.

"Yes peter, how about you come to my house after school, I have something for you. Plus i could tell you how I became a superhero and maybe start to teach you some martial arts." Ben

Peter thought about it for a bit then relized he could probably use this opportunity.

"sure, that sounds great. I be sure to tell aunt may about it." Peter said putting his mask on again.

"Ok then I'll see you again spiderman."Ben

My visor and hood reassembled onto my head then I started to float then fly off back to my house with my active cloaking on.

MC dies and gets sent to marvel with the omnitrix, he can also travel to other dimensions and anime worlds.

A/N: So a lot of these Marvel Fanfics all put the mc as the same year as Spiderman and before Iron Man 1 which happens when they're in high school. The problem is that Marvel established that Peter Parker was born in 2001, and Iron Man happened in 2008. I'm still going to have them in high school when Iron Man happens and Spiderman will still get powers in high school, but I won't involve Spiderman in any Avenger Level Events, for now at least. Everyone involved with Spiderman, (Ned, MJ, etc.) will have their birthdays moved to 1994. So they should be in 9th grade for Iron Man 1.

"So what can you do?" Tony asked me.

"What do you mean?" I replied.

"Well what are your powers?"

"Ooohhh, well, umm, I have super strength, speed, agility, and I can control shadows. My body also kinda freaks out when I see my own blood, soooooo yeah." 

Keep in mind that I was still freaking out. This was happening as I'm trying my hardest to not seem like a super suspicious dude. I am after all a vat grown baby who wasn't taught anything about the outside world.

After a long period of thinking, Tony gave me a weird look. At the same time my thoughts were going crazy.

'OMG, OMG, OMG, this is not happening right now, I'm on the same plane as IRONMAN. I'm so glad I drank my homemade Super Soldier Serum now. Wait, why is he looking at me like that. Oh no, I have a bad feeling." 

Tony was thinking just a little different from mine.

'Now you've gone and done it Tony, you didn't even think about what you'd do after you got him. You know what, I'll just let him live in the house. I'll probably have to adopt him to stop the press from thinking that I'm molesting him. (Gives me weird look) I hope he doesn't freak out too much.'

Tony starts talking, "I'm going to adopt y-" 

"Hi Tony, Pepper is calling you about…WAIT, WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ADOPTING!!" Yells the great Happy Hogan.

Tony looks annoyed. 

"Hi Happy, nice of you to join us. (He says Sarcastically) This kid is one of that lab's experiments, he doesn't have a name yet. (Turns to me) This is Happy Hogan, he helps me out with a company that I own, and as I was saying before you rudely interrupted me. I'm going to adopt you so the press." Tony says in an exasperated tone. 

It was at that moment that I blacked out.

///30 Minutes Later///

I wake up to the sound of Tony sassily explaining to Pepper Potts why he was once again doing something that will give her a headache. 

"As I was saying, I felt bad for the kid and I don't see what the problem is. Oh look, the kids awake. So do you have any name preferences, cause I can't think of a name that will match the white hair and" Tony stopped. I had once again blacked out. He shrugs and goes back to arguing with Pepper.

///ANOTHER 30 Minutes Later///

I woke up in the plane once again, except this time Pepper had given up the fight while Tony was still thinking of a name. 

"I hope he likes the name Morgan, I really can't think of anything else."

"I'LL TAKE IT, I mean, I think the name Morgan is great." I sputter out.

Tony looks pleased and I tell him more about myself for the rest of the trip. When we land Pepper greets us and soon formally introduces herself to me. 

"Hello Morgan, it's nice to meet you. While I'm glad that you managed to escape from the lab and gain freedom, you were unlucky enough to land Tony Stark as your dad. He might not be the best dad, (Tony rolls his eyes) but I definitely will make sure that he won't blow you up or anything.

We drive to Tony's mansion in Malibu, California, and he lets me go explore and choose my room. After I choosing my room and exploring for a bit, I say bye to Pepper, as she is going to a press conference to tell the press of my adoption. 

///Nighttime///

We are currently in a private room at a 5-Star Restaurant when the TV switches to a news anchor talking about my adoption.

"At the Stark Press Conference today, Tony Stark's personal attendant and secretary Pepper Potts announced Tony Stark's decision to adopt a certain boy by the name of Morgan. Mr. Stark did not attend the press conference himself as he wanted to spend time with his new son. Many are speculating on how this will change Mr. Stark as a person and who the mysterious boy that got Tony Stark, owner of Stark Industries, to adopt him. As of now, no information or pictures of the newest member of the Stark family have been found."

Tony looks at me and sighs, "We aren't going to release any photos of you. We can't have those people from the laboratory coming and taking you back. You'll be seen in public with something covering your hair, eyes, and hands. I'll have you homeschooled till high school, but Pepper says you have to go to a real school for that. Any city you have in mind?"

"NEW YORK!"

///6 Months Later///

Its been six months since I was ADOPTED BY IRONMAN. (I know, it's awesome) In that time Tony had given me my own AI, which I named Alfred. (Of course) I had also learned to use his hologram tech and he gave me a special pair of gloves which could shoot tranquilizer darts. (Just imagine Spiderman's web coming out but it's a dart instead.)

We were finally visiting New York City, and as I'm in the same grade as Peter Parker, better known as Spiderman, I wanted to go to the same high school as him. Unfortunately, Tony would only allow me go to the Visions school that Miles Morales, the ultimate Spiderman, went to in Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse.

 In that school, you stay in that dorm for the week and then go back home for the weekend. I came up with a *Cough genius Cough* plan to live with Peter Parker and Aunt May for the weekends, but to do that I need to become friends with Peter. 

So right now I'm standing in front of Peter and his Aunt May's apartment. However, when I see Peter walking to the door with Aunt May, I start freaking out.

'Damnit, I forgot to make a plan. Guess I have to wing it."

As I stand there dumbly staring at the ground thinking about my next move when Aunt May says something.

"Are you new here, because I've never seen you around before?"

"Y-yes. (I didn't think she would talk to me.)"

"Then you should let my son Peter show you around the city, he's a nice boy."

"But Aunt May, I was going to-"

"No buts, show the new boy around."

'EXACTLY AS PLANNED, TOTALLY' I thought.

That's how I managed to get shown around the city by Peter Parker. I became friends with him along the way by using my prefect memory to remember what Peter liked to do. When he saw my appearance he was shocked, but he got over it relatively quickly.

He also asked what school and stuff I would be going to and I said I would be moving here for high school and I would go to Visions. I mentioned needing a place to stay for the weekends and *sigh* Peter was just like, "yeah, that's tough."

After exploring the city, we said our goodbyes and exchanged contact information. I called for someone to pick me up when I someone ran into me. My hat and glasses fell off revealing my hair and face. I was about to yell at the guy who ran into me when I realized that it was the young version of Felicia Hardy. 

On the inside I'm like, 'Act cool Morgan,  act cool, like ice.' So I say in my most masculine voice possible, "Hey." Unfortunately, it sounded more like a grunt than an actual word and Felicia just gave me an awkward glance. 

I was about to try something else when Happy pulls up.

"Morgan, we need to go, we need to be at the airport in 10 minutes."

I sigh and put back on my hat and glasses, I turn to Felicia.

"Watch where you're going next time."

Unbeknownst to me, Felicia blushed hard when I said that. (As she was enchanted by my devilish looks. That's right, I'm humble as f***.)

As the mysterious boy who looked to be my age drove away, I made sure to remember his name. The driver of the car called him Morgan didn't he? I'd been taught by my dad to recognize richness, (A/N: Her dads a famous burglar) and the car and clothes just oozed out the feeling of money.

Felicia is currently watching TV when she sees an interesting news report.

"Tony Stark's adopted child, Morgan Stark, has finally been found in a picture. He has only been seen in hats and glasses before, but a secret picture of him surfaced showcasing his white hair."

 George Stacey's rare expression of praise, then immediately sighed: "If other people, especially the damn spider man can have this kind of consciousness, maybe I don't have such a headache."

 Li Si gladly accepted the praise of his future father-in-law, first frowned at Gwen, and then hit the railway while it was hot: "But I think you might consider giving up the arrest of the Spiderman."
 "Oh? Do you have a better plan?"

 But he also made up his mind. He must mention this thing upwards. If this idea can be implemented, it will definitely be a great achievement. Even if only a part of the run is enough, it will be enough to mention his position.
 Thinking of this, George Stacey couldn't help but look at Liz's eyes.

"How was I Maggie?" Nathaniel asked after the interview was over. 

They were back in the loge and now that he wasn't makeup anymore, he had the impression of living again. He knew that he had to get used to it eventually but that still feel extremely unpleasant than it was the first time. 

"No worse than usual." She answers with her deadpanned voice.  

"That's why I love you Maggie, your support is always heartwarming." He said with a laugh. 

"Just shut up! I'm still mad at you for disappearing just after your movie and album were released." She shout angrily. 

"It was not what I planned to do but I had no choice in the end. Trust me, I would have like to stay here Maggie. I feel bad for leaving you alone to take care of things while I was away." He said apologetically.

"I know. Despite all of your flaws, you are an hard working kid. Moreover, I heard from some of my people that your grandfather kind of disappear and then come back after you also disappear, so I gather that you had something to do with it." 

"Kind of yes but I can't tell you anything about this." He answers. 

"I wasn't asking because one, I don't care about gossip and two,  it's not my damned business but I'm going to ask you to not disappear again until Christmas at least."

"The studio is that mad with me?" 

"No but I am. The studio understood that you were sick and thanks to the fact that you did a lot of interview in local news channel, they didn't even try to ask from their money back. I saw the numbers, the movie did especially well in the city that you visit so kudos to you. It's been two weeks and the movie is still well placed in box office and we just passed the two hundred fifty millions in earnings worldwide." Maggie said with a rare smile.  

"And since I own five percent of the movie and you get ten percent of the deal you negotiate for me… You start looking for an Ivy league university for you daughter or not yet?" Nathaniel laugh. 

"We already have everything planned for her future." She smile wolfishly at him. 

"I'm sure you do." He laughed again. "So, what are we going to do now?" 

"We need to talk about what you want to do with your life. I got a lot of calls and I mean really a lot of them. For starter, what do you think about sponsorship?" She asked. 

"Sponsorship? I'm not really interested, why are you asking?" 

"I got offer from various company not the least which are Nike, Apple, Coca Cola who all want to work with you. The money they offer for a few hours of commercials is just insane." 

"Well, I'm not interested. I like having my own thing and be as objective as I can. Doing commercials will just make me a sell out and to be honest, I don't really need the money so I'm going to say no to that." 

"Got it, I'm not really surprised as I was expecting you saying something like that. Next, you have been offer new roles for movies but since you are going to start SpiderMan early next year, I denied all these offers in your stead." She explains. 

"Thanks, you were right. I won't have any free time for the foreseeable future. I even think I'm going to stay to the SpiderMan role and not look for anything other than that. What do you think?" He asked. 

"It's your decision but this is risky. If the movie do badly, it could end your career as an actor. Moreover, the movie is going to take a couple of month to turn, after that you are going to be bored." 

"Bored is something I never knew in my life Maggie, I hope someday I will. I'm a singer first and foremost if my acting career stop, I will not be sad about it." He shake his head. 

he had think about it for sometimes and he could not do everything as they were only a limited number of hours in a day and all of his were full even when you are sleeping five hours of day like him. 

"Noted. Next, I received a call for you to sing at the next Victoria Secret Party. Interested?" She asked with a frown. 

Seeing the smile that came to his face, Maggie face scrunch up in disgust and she spat. 

"Mens."

"Scott I need you for something." Nathaniel said. 

They were meeting in the bunker under the Lyndon tower, Lina and Hans here too who were looking at everything with curiosity and excitation writing on their faces. Press by time, Nathaniel was forced to contract a external company working with the DOD on various secret complex for the military to install the hardware that they would need. Now, that they were finished, everything was perfectly clean and futurist looking. Screen were turn on everywhere showing the Lyndon logo, Lina and Hans almost dying to test the whole system. 

"Sir?" Scott asked, curious. 

"It seem I'm going to be blocked in New York until Christmas so I'm going to asked you to retrieve the last member of the team." 

"Of course, it's not a problem. I just need to know where to find him or her." He answers. 

"Well, that's where it's going to be a little complicated. She's a training recruit in Williamsburg, Virginia, also called The Farm by the CIA."

"Oh I see, well I never liked them so taking one of their recruit is going to be fun, at least for me." He smile. 

"Well me either but you must be careful. I arranged for you rank to be reinstated so that they can't just refuse you at the gate but don't tell them anything about who you are working for and why you need this trainee in particular, do you understand me?" Nathaniel warned him.  

"Yes sir." Scott nodded seriously. 

"Good, take this, you will have all the necessary information you need in there and the paperwork needed to take her away without being shot. I took you a plane ticket for tomorrow, take a good night sleep Scott." 

"Thanks sir. I'll be going now, goodnight" Scott answer, taking the files and exiting the bunker. 

"Good, Now you two. I see that you are dying to touch this computers and you will have the opportunity to do so but not now. I want you two to take everything apart and look for things that do not belong there, spying device, tracker, everything. I want this place totally secure. I want also that all of the password to enter the system or this place are replaced in the next hour. Got it?" 

"Yes sir." they answered, starting to get to work excitedly. These two have connected fast it seem and they love a good challenge.

Nathaniel was in a coma for four years or at least that is what everyone thought. In reality he was trapped. Trapped in an endless dark world. 

That is until the freshly died soul of Marc, a CIA agent, came along and tried to take over his body. By an accident their souls merged and Nathaniel woke up with Marc's memories intact. 

This is the story of his life and what will become of it. Will he follow the path that was set for himself since his birth or will he forge his own way? Tuned in and find out.

Allison:
"Mommy, why do I have to go to daycare?"

 Micah stood at the door with his arms folded across his chest in his Thomas the tank engine t-shirt and Thomas backpack. He looked angry that he had to go to daycare. 

"Because honey, you need to start going to school so you can start learning important things, You said you want to be like mommy and Spiderman when you grow up, well we both went to school. So, in order to be like us, you need to go to school. Spiderman wouldn't be Spiderman had he not gone to school and learned how to work in a lab that caused him to be bitten by that radioactive spider. Plus, while you're there, you're going to meet some great friends who will help you like Peter Parker's friends in Spiderman."  

Allison grabbed her purse and keys and opened the door for Micah to walk out. But, Micah turned to her before they headed out the door.

"Okay mommy, I'll go to daycare only so I can be like Peter Parker. But, I'm not going to like it, they are too noisy and silly there." Then Micah marched out the door. Allison just smiled and locked the door behind them.

They hopped on the train just before the doors closed, and she dropped him off at Mariposa daycare and went back home to her home office to get her work done. She spent all day making phone calls and going through the different projects that they were running. When her alarm went off signaling that she needed to pick up Micah in a couple of hours. So, Allison decided to go see Daniel at the restaurant and kill some time before it was time to go get Micah.

Allison walked up to Ho Lei Noodle excited to see Daniel she hadn't seen him in two days but she had talked to him every day. As soon as she pulled the handle to the door and walked in, she saw Daniels mom as the counter. 

"Oh my goodness Allison, what are you doing in New York, it has been a long time."

Allison smiled at Daniels mom. "Hi, Mrs. Lei how are you today? Yes, I've moved here a few weeks ago. I came to see Daniel, is he here today?" 

Mrs. Lei smiled, "Daniel not here. He doesn't work here anymore. He just came to help me out, he went back to his regular job." 

Allison was shocked, she thought this was his regular job. 

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Lei. I am going to call him, I hope you have a good day." Allison walked out with Mrs. Lei waving goodbye.

Allison immediately texts Daniel, she wanted to know what was going on. But after ten minutes Daniel still hadn't responded. Maybe he was busy, his mom did say that he had returned to his previous job. It could be a really busy position and maybe he couldn't respond right away. 

Allison really didn't know how to feel about finding out that Daniel didn't really work at the restaurant. On one hand, she was glad that he wasn't just a cook in a restaurant. Daniel had very specific dreams and she prayed that he was able to realize them. On the other hand, she liked how she could just walk down the street and see Daniel, reach out and touch him.

Allison decided to go pick up Micah from daycare and wait for Daniel to call. But, he never did, two days passed and Allison didn't hear from him nor did he respond to any of her text messages. Allison didn't know what was going on, maybe Daniel didn't care for her anymore. Maybe he lost his phone, maybe something happened to him. Allison figured that there had to be a good explanation for his sudden disappearance, she just didn't know what.

Who would have ever thought that an Asian man and a Black woman could ever fall in love.
