As we see from the title, the snake and the mirror are the two most important things in the story. This homeopathic doctor encountered a snake, the snake fell on the doctor. When the snake saw its reflection in the mirror, it was more interesting in that and the doctor’s life was saved.

The forest retained its unearthly silence, the only thing that occasionally broke it was the giant mother snake.

     Claude couldn't feel any of his injuries— which he knew were serious, all he could feel was the weakness of his knees and his trembling hands. He knew his adrenaline was the only reason he was still standing so he decided he'd buy Ursula as much time as possible right now...while he still could.

     WOOSH!

     The snake watched Claude speedily jump to the side to try and attack its exposed side but it immediately lunged at him headfirst. Claude was barely fast enough to dodge the wild attack but he did, he took the opportunity to lunge back in and cut the snake.

     SCHLICK!

     The cut barely did anything but further agitate the snake. Claude could feel the sweat drip down his face and body and the burn in his quads from all the lunging and dashing, "its time for a new gameplan." He thought to himself.

     Claude quickly looked around for any ideas and saw the tree on the right side of the snake that it hit to send the wood splinters at them had tipped over, slightly creating a lopsided triangle above the snakes head...but it also made something else.

     Claude suddenly remembered Lucy standing on the tipped over tree looking down at then snobbishly. That memory gave him an idea of what he had to do.

     "ALRIGHT YOU LIMBLESS BASTARD, I GOT A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOU!" 

      Ursula could see a light blood trail from where Claude was moving around to try and hit the snake making a detailed map of red all over the forest floor. She realized he couldn't lose much more sending a flood of anxious fear and anger through her. She continued to try and get up but her leg wouldn't budge, "GOD DAMMIT COME ON!!" She thought as she tried to get up.

      Once Ursula was up balancing on one leg she saw Claude take off for the snake from the left. The snake made an expression that could only be described as a sadistic smile. 

     Claude charged at the snakes left side going slower than usual to bait the snake into attacking. It worked, the snake sent its massive horned head straight for Claude. He dashed out of the way sending the snakes large head into a equally large rock out of pure coincidence. He was now on the right side of the snake....next to the tipped over tree. "Got you, you scaly meathead." He thought as his plan came into play.

     Claude dashed towards the tipped over tree. He bounded up its earthy red bark with the nimble grace of a wildcat, all while he lightly soiled it with his dark red blood. 

     Once Claude reached his desired height up the tree the snake was still dazed from hitting the rock—which it shattered, he could see its exposed side with the cut from Ursulas axe perfectly.

     He jumped from the tipped over tree with his sword held up in both hands yelling, "WHY DONT YOU TRY THIS ON FOR SIZE!!" 

     SCHLICKKKK!

     Claudes blade found purchase, as he slid down its side while the blade cut a long gash down the snake. It let out a deafening roar in pain for the first time.

     RWAORRRRRRRRR!!!

     "Nice job, you just alerted the cavalry." Claude said tiredly through barely opened eyes.

     Claude heard nothing after the snakes roar so he was sure it was dead, "kind of anticlimactic." He thought. After what felt like forever Claude turned and looked back at Ursula.

     "So Ursula, how do you want to split the silv—" 

     Before Claude could finish his sentence the snakes tail coiled around him up to his stomach squeezing the life out of him.

     Ursula watched as the snake grabbed up Claude and brought it face to face with him through fear filled eyes. Once they were face to face the snake roared in Claudes face in what seemed to be a display of dominance or triumph over Claude.

     RWWWOARRRRRRR!

     Ursula watched in awe as Claude roared back.

     RRRRAHHHHHHHHHH!

     Although his didn't sound as menacing, the snake still flinched like a ravenous beast just roared at it. Ursula was shocked into movement at the sound of Claudes voice and started limping over to the side of the snake clutching her battle axes like her life depended on it. 

     Claude could feel the snakes hard sand paper like underbelly grinding against his skin, scratching his already opened wounds and creating new ones. He held the snakes blood red glare refusing to look cowardly in death. The snake opened its mouth preparing to eat Claude, it's vast open jaws made it look like he was going to be plunged into the abyss instead of a snakes mouth.

     WOOOM...WOOM....SQUISHH!

     Before Claude was put into the snakes mouth the sound of something flipping through the air and hitting flesh incredibly hard stopped the snake from eating him.

     Ursula threw her axe harder than she ever had before, the whole blade of the axe sliced barbarically into the snakes side stopping it from eating Claude.

     The snake still held Claude with its tail but was now looking at Ursula, its slitted nostrils flaring in anger. The snake lunged at Ursula furiously, before it reached her she dodged out of the way landing awkwardly due to her bad leg.

     Claude watched helplessly as Ursula battled the snake on one leg barely dodging critical strikes, "come onnnn, I have to do something....ANYTHING!" He roared in his mind as he hoped for anything to save his teammate.

     Ursula continued to dodge and dash out of the way of the snakes strikes but she could feel how tired she was becoming. The snake stopped for a while and just looked at her, a small spark of intelligence lit behind its vermillion eyes. The snake charged in again and Ursula dodged, but this time the snake stopped mid attack...it baited Ursula to move just like Claude did to it earlier in the battle.

     Ursula watched in horror as the snakes eyes followed Ursulas side dash, she was now sure it was smiling.

     Claude watched in surprise as the snake baited Ursula into moving where it wanted her to. Once she skidded to a halt the snake effortlessly swung its head smashing into Ursula.

     WOOOSH
     
     NOOOOO
      
     OOUF!

     CRACK

     As the snake came toward her all she could heard was Claude yelling before she was sent crashing into a nearby redwood tree.

     Claude watched Ursula hit the tree so hard the leaves up above fell slowly to the forest floor. Seeing this triggered something violent and cruel in him. He no longer felt his physical injuries, he didn't even have all of his senses, he couldn't hear anything or smell his own blood as the snake wrung it out of him like a wet wash rag. 

     "Hey", Claude said

     The hate in his voice was so strong the snake could taste it. It wretched after Claude spoke feeling physically sick, it met his eyes and they no longer looked wild and furious like it's own, now they were cold with the slow and steady burn of hatred behind them. The snake reflexively  wrapped its tail around Claude twice more coiling up and around his shoulders.

     Claude didn't notice his arms where completely bound until he tried to move them, he didn't feel pain from rubbing against the snakes underbelly, he just felt like he was being held by a large mass. 

     The snake lifted Claude up to its face again to eat him. Claude knew he should be afraid as he approached his end...but instead he was enraged, enraged at the fact that he was a disappointment in school, he had no friends and he was going to die on his first mission and be the result of someone else's death.

     Claude looked at the snake with tear filled eyes and teeth bared, he pulled his hand out of the snakes death grip with surprising ease as he reached for the snake. The snake smiled in dark amusement. Claudes bloodied and mangled arm was no longer reaching for the snake as he it made a fist aimed at the snake.

     "Y-You better keep me bound like this f-forever, because If you let me go....I swear to god I'll tear you apart."

     Claude delivered the haunting message to the snake through bared teeth, he said it so aggressively saliva flew from his mouth like a wild dog...but that wasn't the worst part. The last part of Claudes sentence seemed to silence the world completely so everyone and everything could hear his promise. The forest seemed to inhale in response to his message, trees began to hum despite there being no wind and the ground started to shake like a stampede was near. Only after observing all that, the snake remembered to breathe.

     SHSHSHSHSHSHSH

     The snake heard flapping and leaves in the distance, it was so fast and loud that all the noise seemed to blend into one sound. Whatever the noise was it was getting closer at an alarming rate.

     Prof. Raizen was low on mana from dashing around to watch different students fight the snakes so he had to run after a fear filled Warren came and notified him that Claude and Ursula were in serious trouble. "What kind of trouble could they be in? There's only Plated snakes here." He continued to think as he ran behind Warren who was leading him and the class. 
 
     "..."
     
     SSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSH

     Everyone felt the forest go more silent than it was previously, then they began to hear something loud and numerous above them.

     "WHATS THAT!!"

     A student asked as it pointed to the sky, Prof. Raizen looked up and saw a black mass fly above them towards the direction of Claude and Ursula, it was so loud some students covered their ears or ducked out of fear. 

     As they got closer they noticed the black mass stopped and began circling above something.

     Prof. Raizen and the rest of the students reached the scene and saw Ursula on the ground out cold and Claude was being held by...a monster. Students gasped in fear and surprise as they noticed the damage the two inflicted on the monstrous snake. The last thing anyone saw was the hundreds of birds dive down as a collective black mass straight at the snake.

     SHKICK

     RIIIIP

     RWOARRRRRR

      CRUNCHCCH

     Hundreds of birds began to attack the snake most of them went into the cuts Claude and Ursula previously made while others clawed its eyes out and went into its mouth. 

     After a minute if everyone watching the carnage ensue, the snakes began to disperse.

     Claude felt the snakes grip loosen as the birds ripped and destroyed it, he felt like he was getting weaker and weaker as time went. Then he was dropped as he hit the ground the birds began to fly away but they still swarmed around him lightly, like a shadow. He felt so weak he dropped to one knee, as he brought his head up to look at the snake he noticed the birds completely hollowed it out from the inside, the cut on its side was ripped wide open where the birds forced themselves in, he also noticed something else.

     He could see perfectly, almost too well. He could see the divisions and light scratches on the snakes scales, he also saw a hole. It was so tiny nobody else would've seen it, he shouldn't even be able to, he also noticed scorch patterns around it like whatever punctured it was incredibly hot. "What could poke a hole in a Plated snake like this?" He wondered.

     His thoughts where interrupted by the birds flying away. He watched them all fly up and away from the bloody scene..but one stayed. The hawk was bigger than average and its large yellow eyes seemed to hold intelligence and understanding as it looked at him.

     "Come." Claude said to the bird as it flew to his shoulder.

     Prof. Raizen watched as the birds flew away revealing a cut and bruised Claude holding the snakes tail in one hand..with a large hawk on his shoulder. Everyone was completely silent, Claudes bronze skin seemed to glow under the sun light, highlighting his deep gashes and how his blood leaked all over the floor, they questioned how he was still standing. After a while Claude looked up and the bird flew off, then he turned around and looked at everyone through dazed bright green eyes saying, "Urs- save Ursula." He took a couple slow steps dragging his feet before he passed out after killing the snake.

Numbers is everything here in New Gloria. Once your Reborn and earn your class and system those numbers that measure your abilities mean your life...or your death. Many heroes lay down their lives in pursuit of fame and power while exploring the tangents. But the main goal is to stop the creatures from within the tangents from coming out and further changing the earth, as well as the bosses of the Tangents who seem to have their own ulterior motives.
       


       Claude Grey learns pretty fast that most people in power do everything they can to stay in power, even if that means stepping on the throats of people they used to hold dear. Claudes only ever liked a few humans and as he gets older he learns to find new ways to hate them and during his exploration of the Tangents he stumbles upon a strange and beautiful power that helps to show him how truly horrible humans are and maybe these beasts of the Tangents aren’t what the “Heroes” make them out to be.

At this time, Clarent happened to pass by an alchemy garden. While Sheera and Qiong Qi wickedly gobbled up anything they saw, Clarent noticed that there was a poison den within the herb garden for raising poisonous beasts. 
Every now and then, these beasts would be milked by the various natives of this Treasury who had the requisite Tradeskill for such a matter. After that, Alchemists could use them in their concoctions. 
As one could expect, not a single beast there was beneath Rank 3, with the highest being Rank 5. Luckily though, they were "tame" when within the resource zones due to the methods set down by the Refinement God. 
As such, the people of the inner section were able to go about their business without fear, which was part of why they had no combat capability whatsoever. There just wasn't anything to put them on their toes. 
Clarent didn't even peer into this den, so lost in his depression was he. He wasn't aware that now that Sheera was pregnant, Qiong Qi could no longer lay with her. However, after the terrible blows he had taken recently, how could he notice the world around him? 
Deep in this den however, was a long black snake. It was around the size of a tree branch and lay in the king's area of the den, meaning that it was the strongest monster within. 
Not only was it at Rank 5, but it also possessed a stifling aura that suppressed many other beasts within its Rank. This was a no-brainer, as this wasn't an ordinary serpent, but a wyrm! 
A wyrm was a lesser dragonkin, one of a Dragon's earliest and lowest forms. From a snake, one would climb up to a wyrm, then a lindwyrm, to a wyvern, to a drake, and finally to a True Dragon. 
It was above normal beasts with almost 5% of its blood being that of a diluted Dragons, showing that it was a descendant of a True Dragon way up in its ancestry. However, when one remembered that these resource zones were made in the old era were Dragons were up and about, it wasn't that big of a deal. 
However, being a wyrm alone was not enough to become a king of beasts in a place like this. Which beast here didn't have a tyrannical ancestry from ancient races in the old era? 
Well, the reason would be in this wyrm's form. It was long and sleek, with glossy silver scales that looked like they had been polished by a masterful hand. There were small green and yellow lines running through the scales like someone had carefully glued glitter to its skin. 
Its underbelly was a light cream color, adding a light of purity to this wyrm's form. Its head was less like a snake's and more like a dragon's, with ridged contours and some jutting bones. 
In fact, this was normal for wyrms. The only thing that differentiated them from snakes was their slight elemental affinity and their heads which were like that of a dragon. 
This wyrm was currently lying in the center of the den, coiled around itself as it slept soundly. However, when the aura of Clarent covered the area, its eyes snapped open and displayed a thunderstruck light, as if the most absurd occurrence had just appeared before it. 
Without haste, the wyrm rushed out to see what was going on and was greeted to the sight of Qiong Qi and Sheera unscrupulously gobbling good herbs up while Clarent walked along behind them. 
The dragonling currently had a bent back like an elder and used a rickety walking stick to carry himself forward. His steps were feeble and worrying, his long gray beard and sparse grey hair making him seem wise. 
He would occasionally stop and gaze at the bright sky, sighing as if he had seen the vicissitudes of life and longed to depart from this world to meet his loved ones on the other side. 
However, the wyrm didn't pay attention to these theatrics. Instead, its whole body trembled as its bloodline roared with desire. For a wyrm - or any serpent species in this world - the bloodline of a True Dragon was like the fountain of youth to old men who feared death. 
It was something that the word 'desire' alone could not justify. As such, whether Clarent was a decrepit old sage or a youth, it was still inevitably drawn towards him in hopes to raise its offspring's bloodline through mating. 
Yes, as fortune would have it, this strangely unique wyrm was a female. She was the last of her kind in this treasury too, as her predecessors had bred themselves out of existence. 
One should not forget, the chances of impregnation for species in Boundless - aside from humans - was abysmal, which was why humans - especially the players - had such an easy time with their sexual conquests. 
Whether this mechanic was implemented to cement the lore or provide players with a chance to indulge in their dark sexual fantasies in order to increase immersion was up in the air. 
Even Qiong Qi getting Sheera pregnant was not due to luck, but respectable compatibility and the fact that lions could mate almost 100 times in a single day. In just the past week or so, Sheera's sexual count had surpassed even the most prolific courtesans in human history. 
It was likely that had one of their recent attempts not scored a hit, Sheera would have continued to be pressed under Qiong Qi, thereby deepening Clarent's depression as the loser of the group. 
At this time, the wyrm rushed over to Clarent and gazed at him with longing eyes. Clarent saw this wyrm but simply snorted and looked away. Even if he was desperate, he still had standards, a filthy wyrm was the last thing he would mate with. 
This was not just Clarent being narrow-minded, but due to the innate pride of the Dragon race. Dragons had low conception rates between each other, a way for the heavens to keep their unlimited power in check. 
As such, many male Dragons would mate with other lifeforms to birth different spawn with their bloodline, which was why so many Draconic variation species existed in the lore of the world. 
However, even if True Dragons were to mate, they would still pick their mates carefully. Like those from the Phoenix race, Angel race, or even the Sprite race. A mere snake would never cross their eyes. 
When it came to serpentine species, a True Dragon would only begrudgingly mate with a Drake if the Drake had a good enough bloodline and some accomplishments, but even then, the Drake would have to offer up some treasures for the seed. 
This was why Clarent was derisive about the origins of the body he currently occupied, which was that of a Drake. Its parent had been a Fire Dragon and a Sea Serpent, a disgusting combo in the eyes of any Dragon. 
The silver wyrm was not discouraged by Clarent's ignoring her, as that was to be expected. A mere wyrm would normally never even have the guts to approach a True Dragon, but the wyrm had noticed that Clarent was only a Dragonling. 
This was the best time to make a move, leave a good impression while the fellow was young and when he Ranked up, she could come and collect his seed for offspring. 
However, how could the wyrm expect that instead of a naive youth, inside this body was an old monster from the old era, a Supreme Fire Dragon that even made it to the Divine Pantheon as a True God? 
As such, when it tried to suck up to Clarent. The fellow just gave it a disdainful glance and shouted: "SCRAM!" 
After that, he didn't even spend another millisecond thinking about its existence. To use a very crass and offensive example, it was like a world-renowned CEO and supreme bachelor being pestered by the local beauty of a small city in some backwater country. 
The wyrm was definitely aesthetically pleasing in serpent terms with her glossy scales and the fine lines on them, as well as her creamy underbelly. She was far from ugly. 
If we were to use Hikari as a scale - in her dragon form of course - and set Hikari as the pinnacle of Draconic beauty - which Draco and Clarent would agree with as it was a solid truth - the white dragoness would be a 10 while this wyrm would be a 6. 
In essence, among lower serpents, she was a Goddess-tier beauty, but among higher serpents, she was nice to look at but not too dazzling. 
Seeing Clarent's vehement disdain made the wyrm feel panicked. If she lost this chance, when would she ever be able to encounter another True Dragon? 
One should remember though, Clarent's bloodline was that of a Divine Dragon, which was even higher than a True Dragon. This was why he was so arrogant towards this wyrm. 
Seeing as there was no hope, the wyrm desperately used her last card, which was something she was not sure would work but had to try, otherwise she would regret it for the rest of her life. 
The wyrm began to channel her small Draconic bloodline and allowed a wisp of its aura to waft towards Clarent. This was the best she could do, as trying to move even this much cost her a lot. 
If Clarent turned away, her losses would not be small. However, if he could find an interest in her, her gains would not be calculable! 
To the excitement of the wyrm, Clarent did pause. His back was to her, so she couldn't see his shocked and horrified expression, which was quickly hidden when he glanced back at her. 
He simply stared at the wyrm intimidatingly, and the female snake remained still, with a demeanor that was as respectful as possible. Clarent snorted and spoke lazily: "Follow behind me silently. You will listen to my every command from now on." 
The wyrm burst with excitement as she hurriedly slithered to Clarent's side. Despite her joy, she made sure to remain as prim and proper as possible, obeying Clarent's directives to the letter. 
Clarent himself though, was currently slapping himself internally. 
'Arrogant bastard, you have eyes but you failed to see! You were about to bypass such a rare and precious bloodline due to racial prejudice and pride? Has being around Draco not taught you anything?!' 
'That fellow would fuck a tree if it looked good enough, why can't you play with a simple wyrm?! If she hadn't mustered the will to show her bloodline, would tears even be able to wash away your regret?' 
Clarent berated himself endlessly, but he felt even more excitement than the wyrm did. Any serpentine species that came across her bloodline would be clueless and think it was something average, but a Divine Dragon from the previous era like him that had seen many things would definitely know. 
In truth, he should have guessed it when he saw her pristine silver scales and creamy underbelly, but how could he have expected a mere wyrm to hold this level of bloodline, even with how diluted it was? 
Still, Clarent knew of a few ways to raise her State of Being and bloodline purity with Draco's help, which was why he quickly brought her along. Right now, the most important task would be to tame her completely and enter a Dragobond with her, lest she decide to leave after she was pimped up. 
After all, her status was leagues below Clarent, so far down that it was hard to see. However, if she was raised to the level of True Dragon, her status would be on par with - and slightly above - Clarent, who was a Divine Dragon! 
Madness! 
Just what kind of bloodline could this wyrm possess to turn the tables like this? It certainly couldn't be that of a White Dragon given the coloration of her scales and her current circumstances, so it was hard to believe that there was another Draconic lineage that could possess such value.

All that Luna could dream about was her family, the family that lost her trust.  It had been a rainy day, not really any reason to go outside, when this happened.  Luna wanted to play in the water pouring from the sky and she did just that.  Luna opened the door and hopped around in the puddles.  From the bushes, a hissing came.  Luna stared in the direction of the bush, but didn't make any moves.  The bush started to rattle as something moved inside it.  As Luna took a step back, a snake came out, the snake was a beautiful dark blue, like the night sky and a shiny white underbelly.  Luna stared at the snake in both shock and admiration, afraid to take another step.  The snake made the first move, and blended in quite nicely with the shallow blue rainwater pooling on the ground.  Luna froze, unable to move away or move in general.  The snake seemed to have it's own aura as it slithered towards her, the aura was dangerous, and it prevented Luna from moving at the same time.  The snake lunged, and bit Luna's leg.  The pain wasn't horrible, but she felt like things had started to happen inside of her.  Luna could move again, but it was too late, the snake had done its job.  Luna ran inside, almost too quickly, and jumped back into her bed.  Her parents would kill her had they known she went outside without permission.  Luna stared into the mirror and startled, her normally brown hair had gone pitch black, with a few strands of hair a dark gray.  She was not going to be able to hide this.  As Luna's parents went by, they noticed the trail of water going from the front door to Luna's room.  They suspected nothing good, and they walked to Luna's door and, without warning, threw the door open.  Luna was staring into the mirror, black hair sticking out like a sore thumb.  Luna's parents were shocked.  "Luna! What did you do to your hair?!"  Luna turned and stared at her parents, but turned the wrong way.  Her parents got a glance of the bite on Luna's leg and narrowed their eyes.  "You went out in the rain didn't you?  You didn't even ask permission, and now here you are, black haired with a bite on your leg, how dare you."  Luna frowned from the scolding, and stared into her mothers eyes.  "I just wanted to play in the rain, I didn't know that a snake would bite me!".  "Hold on, I'm going to make a call to a friend, maybe then you'll see the things wrong with your actions."  Luna's mom then walked out the door, leaving Luna and her dad in the room.  Luna glared at her dad, her eyes shining with dangerous intent.  Luna could hear a few muffled words coming from the front room, "Just ---- her, I h--- no need for a -------- child like ---.".  Luna sighed, she knew what was coming next, but didn't agree with it at all.
Later that night, when most things were quiet, Luna packed her bags and took one final look in the mirror.  Her hair had slowly turned blank white during the day, going from the ends of her hair up to her head, and had turned completely white by now.  She heard a knock on the front door, and then talking.  Luna didn't feel safe at all.  Luna knew who it was, known well as the doctor.  People far and wide would bring abnormal people to his lab, and he would test them, performing all kinds of horrible experiments on them, sometimes even giving them attributes of specific animals, but most ended badly.  Luna shuddered, afraid of what the doctor would do to her.  She had heard from a friend, who had found the information illegally, that the doctor had horrible rooms and treated the people horribly, but the one thing that the room owner would be given was something very meaningful to that person, and Luna hoped for something that would protect her from the world, everybody trying to hurt her.  All of the rumors about the doctors scared Luna, and now, she would have to live through all of the prodding and experimenting from the doctor.  The door opened, and Luna's dad walked in to retrieve her.  He pried the bags out of Luna's hands and stared at her with almost a look of relief.  Luna was going away for good.
Luna had fallen asleep in the car and woke with a start, jumping at the car door being slammed shut.  She picked herself up off of the seat and opened the door, wanting some fresh air to breath in.  She heard a distant voice, the doctor, talking to her about all of the fun experiments to do.  Luna felt a bit drowsy, and everything had a slight distortion to it, Luna knew that this would not be a fun time.

This is my first try at making a novel, I have wanted to try it out for a while and finally decided, I want to make more every once in a while, so welcome to the world of my mind!

Xia Che stood in front of the energy barrier with his hands crushed the broken jade hairpin in his hands. Yesterday he was too distracted to notice but he could feel his spiritual connection with Yukiya flicker and weaken. That means that she is either trying to break their bond or that she is mortally hurt. Xia Che assumed the worst in this situation. 
He held his hands up and touched the energy shield. "There comes the time where young birds need to leave their nest, so should I. Yukiya protected me all my life and i shall do the same for her" he said with renewed gusto. He blew the powdered jade hair pin on the shield. Complicated ruin lines started to unlock itself and the blue shield disappeared.
The raven family watched this from the distance. "Mom, it's time for me to be a man as well. I will be leaving my nest today" the fledgling said and jumped. It landed on the ground in plop, with tears in its eyes "mom I can't be a man". 
"You stupid child, you don't have wing feathers yet. Where are you flying off to ahh." The mama raven cried trying to lift the baby bird to the nest. "You follow that perverted man again I will disown you" mama raven cawed at its stupid fledgling.
Xia Che thus started his first journey to the faraway lands without any parental support. The ravens were cawing, birds were chirping. It really was a good day to travel. Xia che took the first step outside the shielded area and stepped on shit.
"Oh it's nothing a little water can't solve." Xia che reached the river again to wash his shoes and stepped in a puddle on the way. 
"It is just mud it can be washed" he was still optimistic as he tried to wash his shoes. As he was washing one shoe, another shoe got washed away in the river. "Waitttttt ...." he shouted towards the now floating shoe. But river listens to no man; it stole his shoes and gushed away.
Xia Che's life has officially gained its unlucky status again. 'Oh I miss my lucky snake' He thought as he started his journey one shoe and all. 
On the other side Long Aotian was having a hard time dealing with the four mole rats. He was malnourished for very long time and his cultivation had dropped drastically. His underbelly was slashed brutally by the mole rats. He felt faint. He could feel his death nearing him. 'Majestic dragon undefeated by any, killed by a mole rat. What a shame' he thought as he lost consciousness.
 Xia Che walked towards the Gillian tree to say good bye for the last time. He is not sure when he is going to return back here after all. He saw a few mole rats scurry away as they heard his footsteps. "Hey tree I am here to say goodbye for now. Maybe we will meet in a few years after you gain your human form" he waved. As he walked away he could feel he had stepped on something.
"Do gods hate me? Are they strategically placing shit every step I take" he cursed the gods as he hopped to the nearby rock. He started vigorously wiping his bare foot on the rock to clean away the shit. He lifted his foot to supervise his work. 
"Ah why is there blood in my foot. Did i perhaps rub too vigorously?" he checked his foot for signs of injury. "Hmm that's weird there is no open wound there" he looked back at the spot he stepped on shit to find a dead animal.
"I stepped on a carcass? Strange, why does this snake look familiar? Ahh ugly snake is that you? Are you alive? Blink your eyes if you can hear me".
The snake blankly stared at him. 'Maybe it really was dead' he thought. The snake moved its tail a little replying to his calls. "You are alive. How do you have the luck of the century?" Xia che picked up the dirty snake with a random stick he found nearby.
He took the snake to the river to wash it and found his lost shoe washed up near the shore. 'this snake is definitely lucky. I have to convince him to come with me. Otherwise my travel will be a shit parade' he thought to himself. 
He started washing the blood stained snake. "You know little snake this is the reason I asked you to travel with me. You are just a little hatchling after all. A weak creature like you can't survive in the wild" he smiled at the snake. The ugly snake did not move at all.
"I got an idea why don't I adopt you. You are little beast you need the guidance of a superior beast like me" Xia Che pride fully boasted to the ugly snake. Lond Aotian was too tired to listen the beast's yapping so he went back to sleep.
"Look at how much your body is hurt ah? Let me get you all patched up" Xia Che lifted the snake in his hands and went back to the Gillium tree. The tree bent its head and bloomed some lillium flowers for him. Xia Che thanked the tree and proceeded with mending the wounded snake.
He was pissed off that his son was bullied so he rolled up a ball of animal fecies and mud and tossed it into the mole rats hideout. 
Dusting his hands he said "how dare you bully my son. You deserve a home that stinks like shit" and walked away.
That is how Xia che officially started his journey with his adopted snake son.

Xia Che was a crayfish monster that cultivated to become a human, but from then on he was the epitome of unlucky. 

But because he was friends with a Koi fish, he was able to escape his predicament. 

One fine day the Koi fish disappeared and our silly little crayfish lost his luck. He was all alone for many years until an ugly snake landed on his lap. The snake turned out to have exponential luck.

Xia che: “Let me pet you today as well little worm. I want to trip on a pot of gold.” He rubbed the coarse scales of the snake.

Long Aotian: ‘How dare you try to pet this majestic dragon,’ he bit his offending hands and squirmed.

Xia che: “Stop squirming little worm, I might cook you for dinner instead. I heard humans say that snakes are good for your liver.”

Long Aotian: “You....You”

The little ugly snake changed into a majestic dragon and pushed the crayfish down. He ate till his heart’s content.

Will waited outside the clearing for the snake to die as he kept checking for what just fought the snake.

There was a nice gouge on the underbelly of the snake, with crimson blood painting the grass red.

He watched as the snake looked in his direction.

This caused goosebumps to form on his body as he thought the snake would charge at him.

It wasn't mentioned before but this snake is about ten meters long!

It is not something you could just pin down!

Seeing that the snake showed no signs of moving in his direction Will felt relief.

Will waited for a couple hours until the snake could no longer hold on to it's life.

Slowly walking to the center of the clearing, Will prodded the snake's body with a stick as he watched for enemies.

Seeing that there was no movements from the snake or the surroundings he started to pry scales off of the snake's body.

He collected some of the snake's blood by absorbing it with a piece of cloth from his shirt and wrapping it in leaves.

Through the gouge he could see the snake's gallbladder, "I could use this to make a potion to help with eyesight and other things"

Collecting the gallbladder a fishy smell spread into the air as he wrapped it with leaves and tied it with cloth from his pants.

Smelling the scent from the snake he quickly left the clearing to avoid running into any predators.

Running through the forest the sounds of branches snapping and leaves rustling could be heard as Will moved.

Moving through the path he made on his way to the clearing Will's mind buzzed with excitement.

He gets to make his strength enhancement potion!

Very soon he won't be weaker than this world's children!

'I think I might try a four times strength enhancement potion, I will jump to the four times, I wonder how long I will sleep after making it?'

Even if he has his main ingredients, it doesn't mean he won't faint.

If he makes a stronger potion than any he has made before, even if he has a main ingredient, there is a high chance that he'll faint.
With the snapping of twigs echoing through the surroundings Will kept running as fast as he could.

He was worried that a scarier creature will be attracted by the smell of the snake's gallbladder!

One thing he forgot though, is that when a predator hears or sees something running, they'll definitely be attracted.

Plus, there is also the smell of the snake's gallbladder.

Several trees behind the sprinting Will collapsed followed by an earth-shaking roar!

It was what he hoped wouldn't happen!

Bursting out of the trees behind him, a massive beast that looked like an oversized lion with flames leaping out of it's mane charged towards Will.

"F*uuck!"

Sprinting as fast as he could, Will quickly ran out of breath.

Not to mention on earth he was a lazy *ss who sat around a lot.

In this world he can't even beat a child!

Now there is a lion from this world chasing him!

Considering the strength of the lifeforms of this world he is definitely dead meat since this lion came up!

In not even ten seconds the lion moved twenty meters and appeared a meter behind him!

He could feel the hot breath of the lion blowing against his back!

Enduring the feeling of the branches and leaves whipping against his face, Will jumped into a small raving that appeared beside him.

Rolling into the ravine Will rolled several meters until he splashed into shallow water.

Looking up, he wiped mud from his face as he looked at the lion that jumped towards him.

Will's body froze as he braced himself for his death, he was to tired to move anymore.

As the lion's body lifted off of the ground, the edge of the ravine vibrated gently, the leaves on the ground in the surroundings stirred in a non existent wind as they flew into the air, creating a colorful cloud of leaves that swarmed towards the lion.

As the leaves wrapped up the lion like a cocoon, Will was shaking with awe.

"What just happened!?"
Standing up as he staggered slightly, he tried to catch his breath.

Watching the cocooned lion his eyes widened as the leaves scattered while flame burst out of the cocoon.

A roar that shook the forest burst out from the cocoon as the lion broke free and looked at Will with enraged eyes.

"It wasn't me, don't look at me like that!"

Will shouted in a moment of fear as he watched the lion jump towards him again.

A wind picked up out of nowhere as the trees in the surroundings started to shake as leaves fell off of the branches.

Very quickly a green cloud of leaves formed and swarmed towards the lion again.

The now green, cocoon twitched several times as the lion tried to break free, smoke escaped from the between the leaves.

After several minutes the struggling came to an end as a sickening sound of bones and flesh tearing echoed throughout the surroundings.

The leaves left and reconnected to the trees they came from, leaving behind a bloody pulp.

Watching the events that unfolded in front of him, Will was extremely frightened.

'What did I just step into?'

This is a story about a young man named Will! While playing his favorite game "Potion Maker" after installing a mod, his computer shorted out.

Will then woke up in a new world with the ability to make any potion he wishes! 

With a system that allows him to gain new abilities, will he be walked on by those stronger? Or will he rise to the top?

Time passed and and me and Kido became  friends, although she always denied it wen asked. Our parent became friends too, specially the two mothers as it seems the 2 of them have the same line of work and thinking. One day in the early summer we found that our houses were not that far from each other which allowed us to spend more time together.
A new scholar year started and my father yet again dropped everyone in there respective schools, with the exception that today there was one more person, and u guessed it, Kido.
The day started ordinary we played together, and by playing i'm referring to trained together. Of course it wasn't a hard on work out. We basically fought each other the wooden swords, I wanted to bring the sword that my father gave me in my first anniversary as I was already able to lift and somewhat swing it, but my father didn't allow me, so we were using sticks that we found laying in the garden.
I bought the skills [sword affinity (f rank)] and [swordsmanship (f rank)] and evolved them to the maximum my age allows, that is f +++ rank.
AS i still had a lot of SP I decided to buy one other skill and affinity and upgrade others that i already had. Sadly, for now i can only receive exp by fighting, which because of all the training me and Kido did in secret earned me 2 lvl ups.

(A.N: I have an auxiliar chap that will be actualized every published chap.)

When this year finished, and me and Kido were in my room preparing to continue our secret training, our parents called us saying that they had something to say.
It turned out that Kido's parents would be returning to Japan and so we had to say goodbye to each other.
Both of us were shocked and looked at each other. We became best friends from all the time we spent together, either training, playing or her teaching me japonese.
We hugged each other and started crying. Damn child hormones, can't seem to control them in these more emotional times.
After the news we helped them with the packing and after that we went to see the Ayame family off.
After that time flew and I was soon 5 years old, and the limit of the skill rank increased to E+++, which I did immediately.
After finishing my last year at pre-school before entering 1st grade, my parents gave me the news that due to my father's work we would be moving to USA in a week so I had to pack my things.
We arrived at Miami and spent the summer getting to know the city that would be our home for sometime. We went to the famous Tahiti beach and some parks so that we could relax and adapt faster to the environment around here.
And today as the last day of summer brake before going back to school and work, me and my family went to the zoo for the 1st time. The 1st thing we went to see were the big felines since my mother and sisters loved them to the point of asking a person if they had cubs to sell, we continued on looking at all the different animals. We started on the carnivorous ones, followed by the birds, omnivorous and then finally we reached my favorite lizards and cold blooded animals. While we were looking around I noticed the snakes corner and went there forgeting to notifie my family due to the excitment. While I was admiring one snake a zoo guide came to me.

Zoo guide: Hey there buddy, are u lost?

Marcus: Oh hi. Hey can I hold this snake? She's soo cool and beautiful.

Zoo guide: hmm and how do u know that this snake is a female? And is this snake is a venomous or non venomous one? If u answer correctly i will let u hold it.

Marcus: Will u allow me to hold a venomous snake if I answer correctly then? Cool. I know that snake is a female as the females of this species have more colors than the males and because they they are longer too. This species is also known for not being venomous one.

Zoo guide: Wow u know ur stuff huh? Wait just a bit I'll go fetch the keys so i can take it out.

Marcus: Thanx.

After some time he came back and with some difficulty took the snake out passing it to me. The snake started to envelop around my arm making it's way to my neck. When it reached it she started curling around me, I began caressing it and the snake seemed to ... smile at me.
My sisters that were the first to notice that i disappeared started searching for me after alerting my parents. When my mother found me she saw a snake making it's way towards my neck and ran in my direction but stopped looking at me and the snake perplexed. Even the z.g. was looking at us strangely as even though the snake was not of a dangerous species it became aggressive when someone  tried to hold it. 
After some brief moments the rest of my family came and and were happy that i was well but confused by the sight of a human caressing a snake that seemed so happy that it started to wave the tail.
I liked this snake a lot so i turned to the z.g.

Marcus: Hey zoo guide what's the name of this snake?

Z.G: It does not have a name.

Marcus: Can I have her? I like her. Mom can I?

I noticed my mom behind me so I turned around and asked with expectant eyes. She just nooded still in her thoughts. I looked back to the z.g again.

Marcus: Can I have her?

Z.G: Yes I will just talk to my boss.

And that's how I got Sapphire since she had a red body, white head and purple underbelly.
The next day school started.

I got inspired by the book called "Naruto: The forgotten clan" but i made mine different from his as mine will be different i believe.

Also obviously if naruto was to be mine i would not be doing this so all credits go to Masashi Kishimoto and all critics to me as i am a horrible author.

Anyway hope u like it and pls do make thoughtful revious and comments as i don't have time to deal with bitches.

Another thing, i will post it when i get motivated and so i might drop it (though i will try to finish this book). I will also ask for yall opinions on things i am uncertain about as i dont like boruto and dont know a lot of things that happen with characters such as delta, ishikki and so on.

The group of Kobolds began to coalesce around their leader, a taller than average green and red Kobold wearing a gold chain necklace and carrying a wide-bladed cutlass.

He held up his sword, "On me! On me! Can't you see it's wounded! It is ours to kill!"

The other Kobolds roared and held their weapons aloft. The nearest Kobold to the snake charged right at it with a spear and actually managed to pierce its scale. The furious snake snapped around as soon as it felt pain and the Kobold managed only one terrified look before a terrible pink mouth engulfed his upper body, swallowed, lifted and gulped the Kobold down. A bulge slowly sunk down the snake's neck joining five other bulges that ran the length of its body which Rain realised were the other five other Kobolds missing from the twenty Opal had expected.
 
The leader ignored this and busily arranged his Kobolds into a shield formation, a line of seven Kobolds carrying heavy plank shields while a line of seven more behind them held spears that poked between the shields. "Slow forward!" cried the leader and the shield line moved.

The snake hissed in anger and snapped at the air in front of them, trying to get at the Kobolds but fearing the sharp spears that tracked its face.

The wall neared and the snake backed up hissing and spitting as the sharp spears jabbed at its scales. The leader Kobold dived between the shields and with a twisting slash carved a jagged line up the snake's side. The snake screamed and lurched backwards, its coiled body oscillating and forming up to wrap around itself protectively. 

The motion shifted and brushed the sands aside revealing smooth white and round objects hidden beneath. Eggs. The snake realised what it had done and moved its body to protect the eggs, but the spears came on relentlessly. With blind fear in its eyes the snake roared once more and seemingly having decided it had no better option it dived at the shield wall, risking everything in an act of protective desperation. One, two, three spears punctured deep into the snake's body, but it made it through! It crashed down on the shields with a roar of victory instantly crushing three of the Kobolds below its weight. Its coiled body swept through the sand like a whip, once, twice, three times, an unstoppable force fueled by pure outrage. Kobolds tumbled before its scales, smashed aside with broken bones.

The Kobold leader roared and flames exploded from his open mouth in a cone that washed up against the snake and engulfing part of its body in fire. The snake thrashed in pain and tried to escape the flame but the Kobold tracked its body with his head blackening and crisping its scales in a huge swathe.
 
It seemed like the snake was done for but the leader Kobold was clearly starting to struggle. His expression was strained and his brow furrowed in concentration, reddening with effort. Suddenly he choked and the flame winked out. He looked on in horror as the blackened but still perfectly mobile and increasingly angry snake roared and lunged for him. 

The Kobold deflected the scything teeth with his cutlass and on the back foot he retreated as the snake repeatedly snapped and bit at him looking to end him before he could breathe fire once again. The leader backed up against a particularly large boulder and was left with nowhere to flee as the snake cornered him.

"For blood and riches!" howled the Kobold as he went for one last desperate gambit, diving under the snake's swift jaw and raising his cutlass to stab up into its soft underbelly. Unfortunately, the snake saw it coming and twisted from his reach. Its head whipped around and its teeth took him in the side. Blood splattered across the white sand and the Kobold, minus his leg and a good chunk of his side, was tossed against the large boulder where he slumped to the ground leaving a bloody smear. The snake hissed in triumph and reared up above the Kobold, gloating in its well-earned victory. The Kobold spat blood and raised his sword from where he lay in the sand, the tip of his blade wobbling as it pointed at the serpent.

"I hope you choke on me you shitty snake, I-"

A shadow dropped from the top of the boulder and landed on top the snake's neck at the base of its skull. A grizzly crunch met the Kobold's ears and the snake thrashed in panic. Another crunch, the snake screamed in agony. One more bone splintering sound and the snake went lip and fell to the ground like wet rope.

A black-furred monster pulled its head from the bucket sized hole it had made in the snake's neck, shards of spine dropping from its muzzle. Blood washed down its front and hung in grizzly strands from its teeth. The Kobold looked into its yellow eyes and saw a hunger unlike anything he had ever known, a beastly greedy hunger that knew no limits.

His eyes drifted to his soldiers groaning in the sand, nursing broken or shattered bones or crawling away.

"G-get away!" He called blood burbling up with every word. A number of the Kobolds looked up. "R-Run you fools! Flee! It's something- something worse! Run for your lives!"

A flicker of green at his side and a knife appeared at his throat.

"They're already dead, they just don't know it yet. They are all going in my wolfies belly, every last one. Save your breath for the gods."

The Kobold could only watch in dismay as the evil wolf thing went from injured Kobold to injured Kobold and extinguished their life with a snap of his jaws. They could do nothing, even as they realised what was happening and tried to crawl or limp away the wolf simply pounced on them and ended their lives. There was no honour here, only death.

"Y-you could have let them live…"

The Goblin ignored him and joined the wolf thing, helping it strip the bodies of his soldiers. The Kobold watched as it began to devour his people. He couldn't believe his eyes. The monster did not simply eat, it consumed. Sliding whole sections of limbs into its jaws then biting and swallowing then continuing onward into the torso, its teeth scissoring through scale and flesh, making whole chunks of his soldiers disappear with casual ease. The monster's stomach bulged with his people. Surely the beast had to stop soon, which it did, and then it sat. The Kobold watched, with rising dismay, as the stomach of the wolf thing trembled and then began to shrink down flat.

"What fresh horror has this dungeon wrought upon us," he murmured as his eyes slowly drifted shut and darkness bloomed.
