The lines that Dharvey read from her hit like home, making her save the quotes in her notepad of favorite quotes for her to read every now and then whenever she wanted to.
Dharvey couldn't count in her hand how many times she opened her notepad of quotes. She did it again while the music in her phone played, her eyes scanning to Angela Abraham's quotes about sadness.
"As the sadness comes you must love yourself as a good friend, treat yourself as a person you love, for then you will make it and the tough road will have been worth travelling with bare soles."

All of the aforementioned quotes were from Angela Abraham that Dharvey liked and copy pasted it in her notepad for her to read from time to time when she wanted to.
In all of her quotes, however, stood one quote at the very end. It was still from Angela Abraham, one of Dharvey's most favorite when it comes to a quote about sadness.  
"One must remove a bullet from a wound and one must let sadness come out, it hurts like hell because it is."
That specific quote from Angela hit her. The first time she read it, she couldn't help but read it over and over again.
Every time she felt down, she couldn't help but read the quote. The last time she did read the quote was before she met Arlo and the others when she was in a depressive state.
Now that she is left alone again and that her friends were gone in an instant, she couldn't help but open it again after a year of not opening it for a very long time.
To Dharvey, it's true—what Angela said about sadness. One must let sadness come out like a bullet from a wound. It hurts like hell, but it is.
Dharvey knew too well of how one would feel if he or she continued to bottle his or her feelings. If it is kept inside for too long, who knows how it will snap the person.
She did that for how many years since she was a child until now that she is a young adult. Before she met Arlo, it was the moment when she was about to commit suicide from the school's rooftop that she felt that she had enough of everything.
With the events that had transpired a while ago, Dharvey didn't even need to bottle everything in before she felt enough of her life again.
It happened all of a sudden—something that she didn't expect because of her own selfishness clouding her judgments.
It was a ripple effect affecting everything that she had in life.
Like a bubble, it suddenly popped to nothingness, leaving nothing behind but little droplets of liquid that represented all she had left.
Just herself.
Dharvey suddenly felt a sudden surge of adrenaline rush in her body. As she leaned her body out of the window, she wanted so much to jump even though it was only a one-storey house.
Instead, she just shouted at the top of her lungs, surprising some birds and other creatures at the back of their house. 
She then started laughing as she hung her head low, shaking her head at the same time to make her long hair hang loose outside the window.
"Fuck my liiiiiiiife!"
Dharvey shouted once more, some tears escaping from the corner of her eyes as she tried her best to control herself not to cry uncontrollably.
At the same moment, Ava silently appeared in Dharvey's house. It was easier for her to visit the place since she saw how Frey and the others came to visit her house when she and Levin pried into her memories.
Sighing at the sight of Dharvey as if she was about to lose her mind, the demoness, Ava, crossed her arms in front of her chest and cleared her throat, slightly surprising Dharvey as she instinctively turned her body to look at her uninvited visitor.
"Oh!"
Dharvey blinked her eyes a few times, a foolish smile appearing on her face as she spoke, no longer caring what she was about to say.
"Who's going to visit next? The other angels?"
Ava shook her head, knowing that Dharvey didn't care what she was talking about because she already knew what else is there to lose when she already lost everything?
Her friends, and the person she loves.
Taking a few steps in, Ava approached Dharvey, the Cambion, laughing as she sat on the floor, looking up at Ava as she didn't know why she visited her in the first place.
"What? Angeal came home and told everyone about what happened? You came here to punish me, is that it?"
Ava didn't say a single word. She knew that Dharvey is already in the brink of a depressive state, not wanting to egg her in further since it would only make things worse for her.
Instead, she just knelt in front of her, reaching out her hand towards Dharvey. 
The Cambion, confused, just cocked her head to the side in wonder as she arched a brow at her, wondering why Ava acted this way towards her.
Ava then gave her a small smile. She spoke, making Dharvey vulnerable again as what Ava said poked her heart, exposing Dharvey's emotions.
"If no one else would be willing to listen, then I would without judgments."


"Devin, do you love me?"

Hearing her question that had snapped him out of his thoughts, the Soul Eater opened his eyes slowly to meet her blue eyes once more. He smiled foolishly as his right hand reached out to her face, his thumb caressing her bottom lip.

"Is that a question you dare ask your husband?"

Angeal pouted like a child. 

"Tell me you love me... or I’ll cry."

Devin chuckled, making Angeal pout more as she narrowed her eyes at him. When Devin ceased his jovial laughter, he didn’t answer her question. Instead, he bent down as he pulled her closer to him, his lips smoothly landing on hers to give her a loving kiss. 

’I love you, Angeal. Before I even knew it, my heart yearned for you.’

Punished by the Almighty Seraphim, Devin was branded a fallen angel and was given a curse to become a Soul Eater—a being who is hungry for souls and feeds on them for sustenance.

She returned from her evening run and headed to the kitchen for some water, her mind already anticipating the good soak she was about to get in the bathtub when she heard the phone ring. 

Tossing the empty bottle in the trash can,she walked towards the breakfast bar and took a deep breath before lifting the receiver of the ringing phone from the wall and answered. 

Hello,she said into the phone. 

Hello, Henny greeted a familiar voice. 

Papa! She exulted in recognition. Is everything okay she asked aware of the tension reflecting in his voice. 

Yes, everything is fine,her father answered unconvincingly. 

Can you at least be a little convincing if you are determined to lie to me,she asked him. 

Right. I'm sorry her father responded. I'm fine. Can you come home? He asked. We need to talk he continued hesitantly. 

Papa,she responded not quite liking the tone of his voice. 

Henriette,her father sighed. I know it's not the best time for you...not with everything that you've got going on and all that has happened. 

I know you don't approve Henri began cautiously. But this is my life and this is what I want. This is the path that I want to take. I'm not asking you to understand me. I just want you to support me. 

Henny, her father responded. That's not ... I'm not talking about that.. 

I know.. she cut in. I know you are not proud of the choices I have made but I thought we were past that. 

We are, her father replied. Honey,I'm so proud of you. I will always be proud of you he continued. I just... 

I love him Papa, Henri said by way of explanation. I really do. I just...I love him so much she said willing him to understand. 

I know,her father responded. I can see that. It's.... 

It's what? She cut him off. It's just that you can't understand why, she questioned him. 

Don't worry about it her father replied. It's fine. It's not my place to understand. 

Papa! Don't do this, Henri began exasperated. I don't want to fight with you right now. 

I don't want to fight with you either he replied, sighing. Besides, that's not why I called. 

What's up she asked. Is Tessa okay? 

She's fine her father hastened to assure her. We are both fine. I just really need your help. 

What's wrong Henri asked trying to stay calm. 

An old friend of mine her father replied. 

His nephew was in an accident and he's been unconscious for three months now. He's not getting better he continued. I have cause to believe an alternative treatment is his only hope but I need your help to do that. 

I'm sorry to hear that she replied the sympathy clear as day in her voice. I would love to help you but you do know that I can't just up and leave right? I have tons of responsibility... 

I'm certain Auguste wouldn't mind coming with you her father interrupted. 

He runs his own business and he'd go anywhere with you. 

I was talking about my job Henri snapped back. My work responsibility not my husband. The company needs me. 

You are right her father said in an attempt to make peace. But you already took time off work for your research and I wouldn't ask if it wasn't really necessary. Besides,you are the only one I know who's very invested in alternative medicine and the technology to make it work plus you are best in the field. You are my only hope. 

Alright Papa Henri conceded. Let me think about it. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. 

Thank you Cherie her father responded in gratitude. That's all I ask. 

Bye Papa she said sadly. I'll talk to you soon. I love you. 

Bye baby her father replied. I love you too. 

As soon as she hung up, she sighed loudly and contemplated ordering dinner or actually making use of the kitchen and making a simple home made meal when she heard the front door open and close. 

Honey? She heard Auguste call out. 

In the kitchen she replied. When he came in,she attempted a small smile and greeted him. 

Hi, how was your day she asked him ignoring the questioning look he gave her. 

It was really long he teased winking at her. I missed you he said sincerely. 

Looking at her feet, Henri replied him in a neutral tone. You don't have to say that she said finally glancing up at him. 

It's just us here. 

Henri... Auguste sighed loudly. Just because we are "divorced" doesn't mean I can't miss you. 

Why do you say it like that she asked sadly. 

Like what he asked in an even tone. 

You keep what I mean Henri snapped at him. Scrunching your nose and using air quotes like it's a foreign concept. 

Maybe it is he replied bluntly. 

Gussie...she sighed. 

Henya he replied matching her tone. 

What's gotten into you she asked clearly getting worked up. 

I don't know Auguste responded. Maybe I'm just upset he said blandly. 

About what she asked exasperatedly. 

Gee...I don't know Henriette he responded coldly. 

Are you mad at me about something she asked in a small voice. 

I'm not mad he answered softly. I could never stay mad at you anyway. 

Then what? She asked clearly not understanding the problem. 

Look Auguste replied calmly. I had a long day but it was a good one and I was so excited and really happy until I saw the look on your face. 

What look? She asked looking as lost as she felt. 

You know he replied still calm but the exhaustion was written all over his face. 

The "don't forget we are divorced" face he responded. 

There you go again with the air quotes she chided. Why do you do that she asked. 

Maybe it's because I still don't understand why you wanted a divorce he replied quietly. 

Why did you sign the papers then she asked just as quietly. 

I went along with it because of you he replied as if it was obvious. Because it was what you wanted. Because I have never been able to deny you anything you asked of me. 

Gus...Henri sighed. 

Fine he said. I won't talk about it anymore. We are still living together, so I forget sometimes but I'll try not to miss you. 

 Baby! Henri chided. It's okay to miss me. I missed you too. I'm sorry. 

It's fine he replied gently. Are you okay he asked seeing the tension in her posture. 

Not really she replied honestly. 

What happened he asked concern for her written all over his face. Are you hurt? 

I'm fine she hastened to assure him. Dad called she replied. 

Is everything okay he questioned again. Did something happen to Tessa? 

No she responded. She's fine. They are both fine. He wants me to come home. He needs my help with a patient of his. I told him I'd think about it. 

 There's nothing to think about he replied. Your Dad needs your help. He wouldn't ask if it wasn't important. 

I know she responded. I know it's shameless of me to do this but I was wondering... 

Of course I'll come with you he replied. I'd do anything for you. You know that right? 

Yes I do she answered with a smile. 

So,call him back he said. I'll call the pilot and then go get packed. 

Thank you she replied genuinely. I love you Gussie. 

I love you too he responded without hesitation. 

 By the time she ended the call to her father, Auguste had placed a call to the pilot and another to the cab company. 

Then they both packed their bags and headed upstairs to their respective bedrooms for a quick shower and a change of clothes. 

When Auguste came downstairs with their bags,he discovered that Henri had already ordered dinner. By the time they were out of the house,a cab was waiting to take them to the airport where their pilot was waiting. 

Soon they were seated on the plane heading to Los Angeles, California...

Sometimes what you are looking for, has been right in front of you all along.

I was a 11 year old boy when I fall in love with a girl. she was so cute and a sarcastic one.
I used to see her every where.
once she saw me looking at her, 
I was on the seventh heaven and I thought that what she will think about me?
But it was my bad luck that I could not catch her eyes towards me for a second.
But it was enough for me.
I always wanted to talk to her but I was not so daring that I could do so.
from the age of eleven then up to sixteen, she is my crush and finally I had a great time with her. But it was just the starting which I found after spending a long time.
Then I gathered more courage to talk to her once again but got totally reversed - "task incomplete".
I was trying so hard to talk to her but I was unable to do so.
then after a long time, when I was in 9th standard but the talk was too small and was not done with the real motive which I wanted to.
then I impressed her once with my great ability of writing (as I was a motivational quotes writer) .

The sixteen-year-old Klaus Weber uttered this sentence smoothly to his friend sitting at the seat in front. Being the last students to stay in their classroom, the garbled noises from the schoolyard stood out to the two friends.
Sunset dyed their classroom orange.
Crows cawed somewhere outside as they flew.
There were several students in the tennis club practicing in the late evening, and Klaus could hear their shouts even from his class. If someone was to ignore this, the atmosphere surrounding Klaus and his friend could be considered quiet.
Klaus Weber. A first-year high schooler at the Yokoyama Ichi Academy. His ocean blue eyes were a distinct contrast to his neatly cropped dark hair. His diversions while at school? Getting together with friends and those who he considered family as often as he could. Participate in events with them and alike.
To someone like him, being alone without a friend, a family member to talk with was something he never wanted to experience again.
Speaking of which, the friend sitting in front of Klaus at the time was Akeno Aoi. With her thin eyes staring at Klaus indifferently, she brushed a few fingers over her other hand.
"That quote. Alex Haley, was it?"
"Correct!" A wide smile appeared on Klaus's face.
"Then, how about this one?"
Klaus coughed an exaggerated cough and straightened his sitting posture. "The family is the most important organization in time or eternity. Our purpose in life is to create for ourselves eternal family units."
"...Joseph Fielding Smith. That was a quote by Joseph Fielding Smith."
Once again, Klaus smiled at Aoi's correct response. He practically muttered those quotes a multitude of times to her, so it wasn't difficult to guess. As best friends, they were close, so it was hardly a chore for Aoi to remember the quotes and who had said them.
"I'd heard them for too many times. Pick a new quote. Choose one that's not related to family or anything of the sort," said Aoi. The words she spoke came out as monotone as ever. They lacked any ego or drive. While this was true, Aoi's eyes glinted with slight happiness every time Klaus brought up his list of quotes randomly.
But her expression was almost the same that no one noticed, not even Klaus.
"Hmm, you have a family of your own, Aoi. I was born an orphan, raised by my grandmother, and learned to do everything by myself."
"That was quite an exaggeration. I don't remember the last time you cleaned your room by yourself. In regards to sports, you're hopeless."
"Ugh... Don't bring those up!"
"There's only the two of us here," Aoi muttered as she ran her hand down her shoulder-length dark hair.
Aoi adjusted her glasses and then grabbed her schoolbag. Knowing she wanted to leave, Klaus did the same as well and swept his gaze over the classroom. Since both of them were on duty, they'd swept the floor and wiped the windows after their classmates left.
"Wait for me at the gate," ordered Aoi.
"Where are you going?"
"The staffroom. Just wait for me at the gate, Klaus."
With almost silent steps, Aoi walked away and turned into a corner in the corridor, leaving Klaus alone. Ah, he had forgotten. They had to return the keys to the storeroom. Klaus realized this and bit his lip.
Well, the boy was prone to forget things quickly.
On the ground floor, Klaus sauntered over to his shoe locker and pulled out his shoes. He had put a bit of strength into his pull without him realizing, and a white letter immediately fluttered before his eyes. It took a few moments before Klaus could register the object lying near his feet.
"Wait, did I..." Staring at the nameplate soldered onto the shoe locker's door, he shook his head. It was indeed his shoe locker.
"Hm." He quickly glanced left and right. Good, no one else was there at the moment! It would be unwise for him to wait any longer, and so, he picked the letter and hid it in his schoolbag.
Opening it in his room would be the best choice. Though, even after Klaus had resolved to this, his heart couldn't stop thumping against his chest.
"A love letter? It can't be, right?" He said to no one in particular.
He balked at the fact that he'd just received a love letter. That couldn't be it? He never had any experience with this sort of event before, so he had many doubts. No one would think of giving something like this to him. After all, a lot of girls he knew described him as annoying since he wouldn't stop coming up with quotes during conversations. He was self-aware of this.
Though by letting his negative thoughts took over, Klaus quickly concluded that the sender had mistaken his shoe locker for someone else's. Hence the reason why he found the letter first.
Wait, this didn't feel right as well.
It was late evening. Wouldn't it make more sense for the sender to place the letter in the early morning? Leaving it in the shoe locker for a whole night would surely trouble the sender more than he or she would've wanted. That person wouldn't be able to get a good night's sleep, thinking about it.
"Ah... but what do I know? If it does turn out that he or she got the wrong person, I'll just put it where it is supposed to be."
A simple plan, but common sense would tell him otherwise if he thought about it a few more times. There was a good chance that the intended person was someone he didn't know at all, if barely. Klaus proceeded to focus his line of thoughts in a different direction. Indeed, he quickly thought that the sender didn't get his shoe locker mixed up, that he was the intended person all along.
Standing by himself at the school gate, Klaus mentally made a list of the possible girls who had placed the letter in his shoe locker. Could it be the class's representative, Kitabayashi Arisu? Or perhaps his secret admirer was the student council's vice president, Fukutsuchi Emiko! No, this list had some girls that were out of his league. He had to trim it down.
"What's this about a love letter?"
"Wah!"
Aoi looked at Klaus with a steady gaze, neither curiosity nor puzzlement visible in her eyes. At least Klaus thought so when he saw her.
"Nothing... The family is one of nature's masterpieces!"
The quote came out of nowhere. Klaus put up a wry smile, somewhat contradicting himself. He was an open book to his best friend through and through.
"A quote by George Santayana. That aside, you're nervous. Did something happened while I was gone?"
Aoi didn't appear to be worried, despite what she said. Her emotionless countenance sometimes made even Klaus a bit dumbfounded when he wanted to respond to her questions.
These two walked to school every day, and it didn't take more than fifteen minutes for them to reach their neighborhood. Klaus halted in front of his house and slowly turned to face Aoi behind him.
"Have you ever thought of sending a love letter to me?" Klaus blurted out of nowhere, asking a straightforward question.
He'd hoped that his deduction was correct, that Aoi was the one who'd placed the letter.
"Let me guess. Someone sent you a love letter, and you haven't opened it yet. But since you're not close with anyone other than me, you're assuming I was the one who'd given you the letter."
She'd guessed everything!
"Um..."
"I see. Then, good luck with your first romance."
Aoi lazily waved Klaus goodbye and walked to her house a few blocks away. For someone who had known Klaus for a long time, she knew Klaus had no experience in this sort of matter. As far as she was aware, his focus was solely on his hobbies and fascinations.
Klaus's hobbies? During his free time before dinner, he would tend to his collection of books. Yes, each book, each story revolved around the character's relationships.
"Spirits Beyond. Rise of the Wandering Noble Family. Black Tears of Brynhildr."
It was only five more minutes before dinner, but Klaus decided to read one more book before then. He sat on a chair and skimmed through the scented pages of Spirits Beyond. It didn't take more than a few seconds until he had reached the page he wanted to read.
The page described a scene where the male protagonist who had grown up by himself stumbled into a certain girl. This girl recognized him as her younger brother, but he denied any relation between them quite adamantly. The protagonist had grown to hate his family for leaving him by himself and quickly ran away from the scene. He ran away from his older sister.
With a sigh, Klaus put the book away. This emotional scene always got him excited. More often than not, he would try to find time to read the book over and over.
"Spirits Beyond" wasn't the best book he had read, but the protagonist resonated with him quite a lot. An orphan searching for his family, but in the end, chose to forget about them.
A strange feeling welled up in his chest. Yes, the sense of uncomfortable deja vu hit him every time he read this scene. Why? He didn't know the answer.
"Ah, the time!" It was already time for dinner.
At the dining table, an elderly smiled at Klaus when he stepped into the kitchen. Dinner for that night was chicken curry with fragrant, fluffy rice.
Klaus had helped cooked the rice and cut the chicken into sizable pieces roughly an hour ago.
"Eat slowly. The food won't be going anywhere." Klaus's grandma let out a small laugh. Klaus shoved lumps of rice into his mouth, refilled his bowl of rice, and slathered more curry on his plate.
Since Klaus was young, this woman had been taking care of him by herself.
Words won't be enough to describe how grateful Klaus is towards her. Due to this, Klaus wouldn't hesitate to spill whatever he had in his mind.
"Grandma, someone put a love letter in my shoe locker!" said Klaus after he'd finished eating.
It was worth noting that he had not opened the letter yet. Regardless, he ran his mouth and spoke in a prideful tone. This accomplishment enraptured him this much.
"Who is it? Do I know her?" Grandma asked curiously.
"I haven't opened it yet. But whoever this girl is, I'll make her like me more with the newest quotes I'd discovered. She'll fall head over heels over me, I'm sure."
"Ah, but don't neglect your studies, okay? You're a smart student already, so I don't want your academics to be affected. Make good use of your time," said Grandma. "Anyway, don't forget to introduce her to me when you can."
"No problem!"
To be so excited, it was proof that this was indeed Klaus's first step into his adolescent romance. Not to say it was wrong to be thinking this way.
Klaus went back to his room after chatting with grandma for a little while and rummaged through his schoolbag. His fingers pressed the white letter as he pulled it out.
Sweat trickling down his forehead, he gingerly opened the letter with his free hand. A folded sheet of paper poked out from inside.
Thum! Thum!
Akeno Aoi let herself in through the wooden door and stared at the letter in Klaus's hands. She raised an eyebrow at it.
"I didn't say you could come in!" Klaus said with slanted eyes. "And when did you come in?"
"You haven't read it yet?"
"No... I'm about to. Why are you here this late anyway?"
"I can't help but question myself. I want to know who it is."
"Tch. Don't be a busybody."
Klaus wanted to read the letter by himself, so Aoi's presence miffed him, more than he'd thought it would. Regardless, Klaus motioned for Aoi to sit on his chair as he unfolded the white sheet of paper.
It wasn't uncommon for Aoi to visit him at random times. After all, they had known each other since elementary. He was used to seeing her quite a lot after school.
"So, so, who is it?" asked Aoi with an indifferent expression. Her words didn't match the face she was making.
"...."
"Hey, I'm talking to you."
"Is this a prank?"
Klaus gave the paper to Aoi and sat on the floor. He buried his face in his hands and sobbed exaggeratedly. Snots of shame flowed out, and tears of embarrassment trickled down his cheeks. Who would do this?! A devil in human form! Klaus cursed silently.
Aoi stared at the letter, and as if wanting to exacerbate Klaus's mood, read the contents out loud.
"Klaus Weber, I'd known you for a long time. You might not believe nor remember me. To err is human, after all. There are so many things I need to tell you. I need to see you in person. I'll visit your classroom sooner or later, so be prepared.
Regards, your loving father."
"Is this a joke? Your father is..." Aoi wanted to comment on the letter, but Klaus's sobs ceased the action.
"My parents died a long time ago!" Klaus said with teary eyes. "The only ones I have now are you and grandma. Who thought about this heartless prank?!"
"Now, you're acting like a five-year-old... You're exaggerating. Ignore this and..."
"Aoi! I won't forgive anyone who makes fun of my family! If the family were a fruit, it would be an orange, a circle of sections, held together but separable – each segment distinct."
"What? That's a quote by Loretta Cottin Porgrebin, right? That came out of nowhere."
Klaus shook his head and stormed out of the house, his hand gripped a slender wooden stick tightly. Where did he get it? Aoi called for him, but the man paid her the scantest attention. He would visit this student who'd sent the letter and wack him or her in the face!
Though, he had no clue as to who this person was, and more importantly, where he or she lived.
"Stop being an idiot."
Aoi pulled him by the collar and slapped him squarely on his cheek.
"Wha... Aoi?"
"You become an idiot every time you let your emotions take over. If I wasn't there for you each time this happened, then you would've been caught doing stupid things."
Again, Aoi said these words with little to no emotion showing on her face.
"Aoi..."
"And since I'm always with you at school, the other students will think I'm weird as well."
"That's your reason?!"
"Anyway, enough of this. Throw away the letter and finish your homework. I'll let you copy mine this time."
Klaus nodded and thanked the benevolent sister with a smile. He wanted to do his homework by himself before, but an offer like this was hard to resist. As for the stupid letter, he would just keep it for now until he could find the sender.

[ STORY IS ON INDEFINITE HIATUS ]

Every night when certain individuals close their eyes and start sleeping, they are pulled into a place called "The Personal Dimensions". 

During their stay there, they are capable of manipulating the contents of the dimension to their whim. However, evil creatures called Draugrs appear to prey on these humans, forcing them to defend themselves with the help of an entity to guide them.

Soon after a fated encounter, Klaus is discovered to have been "reincarnated" and is able to enter the Personal Dimensions and fight – while balancing his school life, his social life and his new dungeon-crawling life.

Shortly after saying farewell to Nojiko at the party, Cross had found Chabo and convinced him to join the party for some time. He wanted to get a little closer to Chabo because Nojiko seemed protective of the child for some reason. Cross believed that forming a friendship with the kid will surely raise his chances with the beauty.

"Hey Chabo, don't fret! In fact, … Everyone! As your host, I would like to have your undivided attention!"

Cross raised his voice to gather everyone's attention. 

"I would like to end this night by telling you a story… so everyone come and take seats around me! Also, make sure to keep some booze and bites handy with you!"

Everyone didn't know how to react to Cross's words, as his body was visibly swaying from being drunk.

"Ooh I love Cross's stories! They're the absolute best!"

Noelle jumped happily and rushed to get some food and drinks before sitting near Cross. Everyone became more curious after seeing her enthusiasm and slowly did the same.

"I would like to tell you a story on hope, love, and struggle…! A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, a farm boy named Luke Skywalker…"

Zapppp… Suddenly, Cross produced a large projection in the sky, literally made of lightning. It was a projection of a small boy, presumable Skywalker, finding a space droid with a message. This was the first time Cross was careless enough to show his powers to such a large audience.

"Ahhhhh!"

"What is this?!"

Everyone panicked, and a few fell from their seats.

"Don't worry everyone! This is a new technology in the outside world… just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show… don't sweat on the small stuff."

Cross had used his devil-fruit powers to send calming sounds right into people's ears. Fortunately for him, people's nerves were already calm enough from being really drunk.

Some comments throughout the show…

"Fuck the empire… they're exactly oppressive like the Arlong pirates…"

"Ooh, I'm going to train just like how Luke Skywalker did…" Chabo said, clenching his fist with determination.

"Aah, that Han Solo's Wookie companion's so cute. I want one friend like that Cross!"  Noelle's eyes glittered, and she set her mind towards bothering Cross for one later.

"Whatttt, it's actually his father…! No way!"

"This death star is like Arlong's beast that destroyed the Goso village.

"Yayy…! The resistance has won! Wohoooo!"

…

After 3 hours of drinking and watching such an inspiring tale, everyone was in high spirits. They discussed and compared their situation with the Star Wars movie

It was unknown whether Cross wanted to inspire them or just narrated a random movie for his entertainment; regardless, it was a night he won't remember.

"Guys… watching this story. I feel like we all need to do something about Arlong!" A villager said. 

"Y-Yeah, we should totally go and kill him now!"

"For the rebellion!"

All the drunk villagers had the same crazy idea all of a sudden. The idea also started sounding really inviting to Cross, who was itching to let lose some of his powers. Luckily, there was one person there who was still sober.

"Cross… isn't this a little too much… we will die trying to rebel." Chabo said.

"Do or do not. There is no try."

Cross shamelessly plagiarized quotes from a famous someone. Consequently, all the drunk villagers applauded with enthusiasm.

"I still don't know exactly what it means but… For the rebellion!"

"Fuck Arlong Pirates…. For the rebellion!"

The drunk villagers carried Cross into the air and started chanting rebellion quotes.

"Cross, do you think we can do this?" Chabo clenched his jaw, vengeance returning into his mind. 

All the drunk villagers turned their heads towards Cross, waiting for their pseudo-captain for a decision.

"Mwah ha… I find your lack of faith disturbing Chabo… This is a new day, a new beginning."

Cross's cheeks glowed from pride for using so many Star Wars dialogues in one day.

Thus, all the drunk villagers with Cross as their leader headed towards the Arlong Park. Cross ordered a few things from Noelle, who was watching the entire scene with pure amusement. Noelle reluctantly complied with Cross's demands, rushing to complete them before the main event starts.

Along the way to the park, some sober villagers had tried to stop Cross's rebellion. A few set up a blockade to prevent passage; however, they were eventually pushed aside by the aggressiveness of the drunk group.

Genzo, Nojiko, and Bellemere were watching the scene with wide eyes.

"Everyone, stop! Don't ruin everything we've done for the past 8 years!"

"Cross… what the hell are you doing?! You already know Arlong's tyranny!"

Genzo and Nojiko yelled at the group, their faces pale. They knew that if we went any further, we may never return.

"Everyone… Arlong, that two-bit manga villain is just torturing Nami with false promises. Join me to bring the asshole to justice. Give up false hope…. And for the rebellion!"

Uoooohhhhh!

For reasons unknown, Cross further reignited his drunk followers fighting spirits. Perhaps he was high on adrenaline and didn't care anymore for the consequences. As a result of his words, a few sober villagers including Dr. Nako joined his rebellion.

Finally, Nojiko, Bellemere and Genzo blocked Cross's path with their weapons unleashed.

"We won't let you go any further… You have to beat us to go ahead!"

Their strong determination stopped the charge for a second; however, Cross's group had been in anguish for too long to be stopped by something like this.

"It's no use… our hearts are set! I didn't believe Arlong from the start… I rather die than see Nami heartbroken when Arlong betrays her."

Dr Nano's facial muscles tensed, and he kept moving forward.

"Move out of the way you all! Let's go everyone and show them our spirits and hope."
Everyone charged at Cross's words. The trio had no choice but to knock out Cross, the leader, to stop the rebellion.  

Bhamm… Unluckily for them, Cross was too drunk and ran right into them. The massive difference between their physical strength effectively pushed them aside. Thereafter, Nojiko, Bellemere, Genzo gritted their teeth and followed Cross's group to the Arlong Park.

For the rebellion!!! The villagers marched.

Dark clouds gathered around as the 'rebels' approached the Arlong park. The clouds each carried dry lightning storms that contained up to hundreds of millions of voltage. These storms were being attracted to the violent intentions of a certain someone.

Soon the Arlong Park came into the the view of the rebels...

This is a story on the MC's slow demise into madness and the destruction that follows.

"To be honest I don't get why you don't wanna admit that the new guy's hot." Cherry frowned before looking at me with furrowed eyebrows that made small wrinkles appear on her forehead. 

I forked the pasta on my plate & stared at it debating whether it was edible or not.

I'd been hungry all morning but I wasn't sure if getting sick was worth it. I knew better than to respond to Cherry. She'd latch on if I denied, but continue to argue if I agreed.

As I continued to examine the legitimacy of our food, Cherry launched on a full explanation of how I needed someone other than her & Chris.

I liked Cherry, & I knew she was just worried about my lack of friends but honestly I didn't give a fuck.

I wasn't the type to reply to texts immediately because I was lazy & I didn't like to fill up useless voids of silence with chatter. If I didn't have anything important to say then I usually didn't say anything.

My cynical outlook on life & my tendency to respond in sarcastic tones didn't really help with the 'making friends' thing.

"It doesn't matter anymore." Chris stated causing me look up from my food.

"What doesn't matter?" I scrunched up my nose and quietly apologized when Cherry huffed - realising I'd been ignoring her.

"Apparently Jordan's hotness doesn't matter." She rolled her eyes. "I rated him at an eight though so Chris' statement is invalid."

"No I mean the new kid in general. He doesn't matter." Chris insisted.

Now it was my turn to huff. Though I wasn't those girls who fall in love in seconds, or dedicated their life to a guy, I was able to appreciate Jordan's kindness, so to me he actually mattered.

"And why do you say that?" I asked drily pushing my plate away.

"He said he'd sit with us at lunch right?" Chris didn't wait to be answered. "Well, it's lunchtime and he's not here. So he probably found other friends. Maybe one that doesn't consist of an over preppy girl, a nerd and a sarcastic mute."

I pursued my lips and nodded. He had a point.

"Ummm...Excuse you!" Cherry snorted. " Jordan would be fucking lucky to be in our presence. In fact I think we should at least give him an initiation test if he wants to be in this group."

I refrained from laughing at Cherry's dramatic antics and Chris' shaking shoulders told me that he was keeping it in as well. I also didn't mention that we'd also be the lucky ones and that it'd be a miracle if he actually wanted to be in this group of misfits.

"I didn't know that there was an initiation test." A voice pulled me outta my thoughts. I turned around to see Jordan with a smirk and a tray full of the death pasta. "I might reconsider."

"Scared Jordan?" Cherry grinned deviously.

"You wish!" Jordan shot back without hesitation.

Seconds later Cherry started clapping slowly.

"Okay well, he passed with flying colours."

"The fuck? That's it? A Harry potter reference & he's in the group?" Chris snorted.

I remained quiet.

"I'm sorry would you like him to recite MCU quotes or something?" Cherry narrowed her eyes.

"I can do that." Jordan quickly offered.

"Sure." Luke smirked obviously not believing him.

"Cmon hit me with one & I'll tell you who said it." Jordan challenged.

"All that for a drop of blood."

"I'm insulted by how easy that is. Thanos, obviously. A very awesome moment." Jordan stood there with a smirk.

"Im just getting started." Chris smiled cheekily before launching into more quotes that confused the fuck out of me.

A couple quotes later Chris declared that Jordan was an absolute champion and he had ni problems with him joining our group.

"That was ridiculous." I groaned, voicing what Cherry and I had been thinking the whole time.

"I'm actually surprised you didn't conduct some tests to see if I'm worthy." Jordan leaned forward & captured my gaze. I stared over him and merely laughed.

"You willingly sat through Chris' rant about Thanos & the multiverse. I pointed out."I think you're cool."

I wasn't gonna add the part that I was really surprised that he actually wanted to be with us. The way I saw it, if he wanted to be my friend, I wasn't gonna come up with some dumb test that could possibly keep him away.

"Cool indeed." Drew snickered. I didn't even have to turn to know him and his groupies were lingering behind us. Kaylee was probably hanging from his arm, smirking in that bitchy way she usually does.

"Is there something you wanna say?" Cherry glared. She would have probably stood up if Chris hadn't pulled her back down & reminded her that she was half the size of this jock.

"Im just doing my duty by warning the new kid." Drew explained.

"Yaaah well your announcement of having a small dick and brain have been taken into account. Feel free to leave now." Cherry snapped.

"Yoh bro maybe you should just leave." Jordan tried to be polite about it but Drew was much more concerned about Cherry spilling secrets about his genitals to give a fuck about the new kid.

"Now how would you know the status of my dick?"

"Because Melanie's mouth is way too tiny to give blow jobs to anything bigger than a pencil!" Cherry smiled innocently as she delivered that line.

She killed two birds with one stone. I let out a small laugh but unfortunately that only turned Drew's heated glare towards me.

"Anyway," he snapped, "back to the real problem - little Azula. I wouldn't get too close to her if I were you."

"What are you talking about?" Jordan stiffened just as Cherry hissed.

"Isn't it obvious bruh?"

"Shut the fuck up Drew!" Cherry warned.

"Bro," Drew put his arm on Jordan's shoulder effectively ignoring Cherry," she's a killer."

From that point everything happened so fast. I didn't even have time to react before Cherry shot out of her seat and slammed the food tray into Drew's face.

I didn't even stick around for the aftermath, which I knew would result in Drew's nose being broken.

Though I really wanted to watch the little fucker wither in pain, I could feel my chest constricting tightly.

I took off before the tears could go public. 

I ran outta the cafeteria and through the school until I got to a corridor in the west wing.

I felt so dumb for letting Drew's words get to me, but it had been so long since I cried & I couldn't seem to stop.
This was the one thing I didn't want Jordan knowing about. I laughed humorlessly at myself as I thought of how hopeful I had been. I wanted him to like me but that was becoming very unlikely.

I heard soft footsteps. I immediately stiffened and my head shot up. Jordan didn't say anything until I met his gaze.

"Cherry said you'd be here." He explained gently." She would have come herself but she's busy explaining to a teacher why she broke that lying asshole's nose."

"He wasn't lying." I said quietly, wiping away the tears that had spilled down my cheeks.

"What do you mean?" Jordan frowned sliding down and sitting next to me. " I'm pretty sure that you'd be locked up for life if you killed anyone."

"It's not like that." I admitted, y voice sounding shaky because I never wanted Jordan knowing any of this. "It's...urgh it's sounds so fucking stupid when I say it out loud but it's like a curse."

I stared at the ground not wanting to see his reaction.

Jordan was quiet next to me, probably taking all this shit in. I was surprised he was listening to my crying explanations. Actually I was more surprised he found me considering no one used this corridor. It was undergoing some renovations.

"Azula, I don't understand."

"I don't expect you to." I grumbled. I pulled my knees up to my chest and put my cheek on it so i was looking at him.

"I want to." Jordan moved cooser. "Tell me why they made you cry with such stupid accusations."

"I told you they aren't accusations. They're rumours." I paused. "They're facts."

"Fuck this conversation is going nowhere." Jordan said softly. "Why do they think you killed those guys?" 

"Because I was the last one to kiss them."
