200 years ago man created the greatest AI known but this Machine eventually grew a mind of its own and evetually it's own body, it rose up with others like it against the human race this battle went on for about 20 years and nature and most resources were dieing off cause of the continuing battles but the final battle it released a large blast but is wasn't a bomb it was something else entirely, the machines had something hidden down their main base, something that wasn't human or machine something not of this earth, the blast brought back nature it changed it along with the humans and Machines closes to the blast.....both of them went a evolution of some sorts and because of this both sides where able to form a peace ending the war



Lia Giles became a border guard and mechanic for the power lines on the in between of the main city and the unearthly forests, no longer being able to stand living in the high technology world where humans are treated like second class citizens. On one of her patrols she discovers something or more like someone that no one has ever seen before.

Huo Nanchen did not even look at her at the door, which meant that he did not like this type of girl Then he would just stubbornly refuse to admit defeat. He would always go against the man and use his own weakness and strength to attract his attention.

There was still some logic to it.

Liu Feishi finally saw Huo Nanchen's gaze shift to her. She felt that she did not do anything wrong. At least now, the man had shifted his gaze to her!
"Yes, I won't give in! "
"Okay. " Huo Nanchen just nodded. He had expected this to happen, so he brought her out to let these people recognize her position in the huo family. These people would get to know her sooner or later.
Liu Feishi didn't know that she was about to be in big trouble, but she still had a stubborn look on her face. According to her prediction, she would anger the man and start to interact with her.
"which company is this actress from? "
"This is from Feiyu company. " Chen Yisheng thought quickly and immediately figured out Huo Nanchen's thoughts. "The female lead of the latest movie, 'flying love' . "
"Is that so? " Huo Nanchen only said one sentence and his definition was very casual, "her acting skills are not suitable for the female lead. "

Seeing Huo Nanchen's impatient face, Liu Feishi knew that they might want to leave. Of course, she would not let them go so easily. Without even thinking, she stretched out her arm to block his way.
Gu Ruochu did not notice her movements. She twisted her high heels and took a few steps back before leaning unsteadily into Huo Nanchen's arms. He then took the opportunity to wrap his arms around her waist
"Mr. Huo, do you think that you can bully me like this just because you're rich and powerful? Let me tell you, I'm not afraid of you! You must apologize to me now! "

Gu Ruochu suddenly walked away from Huo Nanchen and gave Liu Feishi a tight slap on the face. Before anyone could react, Liu Feishi's face was turned sideways by the slap.
Liu Feishi shrieked and her slender high heels twisted in a circle before she finally fell heavily to the ground.
"You've already said that I've hit you. If I don't hit you, wouldn't I be committing a crime for nothing? " Gu Ruochu looked down at her from above. She had yet to retract her palm and her chest could still be seen heaving slightly.
"Do you really need to hit me yourself? " Huo Nanchen stepped forward and furrowed his brows as he held her hand. He looked rather fierce, "does your hand hurt? "
"It doesn't hurt. " Gu Ruochu watched as his hand wrapped around hers. His hand was not as smooth and soft as she had thought. Instead, there were a few thin calluses on his palm.
The warm touch covered her entire hand. Not only was he hugging her intimately in public, he was also holding her hand in such a brazen manner.

On the day of her escape from prison, she had died unexpectedly and was reborn into the body of Madam Huo.
He was the heir to the number one financial magnate. She had charged out of nowhere and from then on, the obedient and weak Madam Huo had started to awaken. She had been trampled under her feet.

After all, if it were Yangyang himself fighting the same level fighter, he wouldn't have a guarantee of hurting him if he were focusing on defense! The two would be at a draw!!
So Yangyang was stunned to the core- this place was filled with hiding dragons and tigers. This random kid just came and beat him up!!
"It's okay, you're Mystic late phase peak, right? My boss said that this level of practitioner has self-healing abilities, so if you lie down a few days, it'll be fine!" Goudan consoled. "Don't worry! But you can't blame me. I came here to look for a lion, but you came up and said you were itching, forcing me to beat you up! Man, the world is quite interesting!"
Yangyang didn't even have time to spit out blood as he fainted- he'd never been so humiliated in his entire life, but what could he do? He was way weaker than Goudan!!
Xiao Ji and Huli were shocked and stunned- what the hell was this guy? Even a Mystic, late phase peak, couldn't handle him, could he be an Earth class? Xiao Ji's legs went weak right away!
House Xiao had just gotten strong, and now this monster came in to cause trouble! Xiao Ji was raging and panicking as he sent a slap to Huli. "You damn bitch! Look what the hell you've done, lion, lion, lion, now look! Look at what you've done. That damned lion bit someone he shouldn't have!!"
Huli was completely shocked and shaking, not even reacting to the slap- she only lowered her head and covered her face, feeling helpless. It was a housekeeper. What the hell was this housekeeper doing with a guy who was able to beat down Mystic late phase peaks?? Why was she a housekeeper?! Just get this guy to ask the noble houses for some protection money, they'd all pay up! Even House Yu would be respecting him! Great, this housekeeper decided just to be a housekeeper, and now she was in deep shit!!
"Mister Warrior… Have mercy… How much money do you want, we'll give it to you, just let us go!" Xiao Ji was a typical type of person. He submitted to the strong, and here was someone who was the definition of strong- even Hidden House Pi masters couldn't fight him. Of course, he'd start begging!

"I…" Huli didn't doubt that he'd be able to one hit the lion- even someone like Pi Yangyang was taken down with ease, let alone a lion! But the lion wasn't here! "Mister Warrior, the lion isn't in the villa anymore. It left…"
"Left? Did you sponsor its getaway after you realized he messed up?" Goudan glared.
"Wha?!" Hili froze- why the hell would she be sponsoring a lion to run away? But she didn't say that out loud- she didn't want to die from a slap from this monster! She smiled bitterly, "Mister Warrior, that lion ran on its own. It wasn't us…"
"Dear Mister Warrior, if you're looking for the warrior, I'll tell you where to find it!" Xiao Ben walked out slowly after hiding the whole time- he felt cold shivers all over his body when he saw Goudan's strength. House Xiao really was in trouble now, getting involved with a monster like this! 
But, upon further observation, this guy seemed to be an enemy of the lion, not the House Xiao, and even the thing with Elder Pi was a misunderstanding!
So Xiao Ben thought that he might be able to turn this thing around- after all, that lion had run to House Chu! Wasn't he looking for the lion? Go to House Chu then! It was possible that he'd get into conflict with those at House Chu, and he might beat Lin Yi down as well. It'd be best if he could cripple him and take revenge for the Xiaos!
Xiaoben felt that he was a genius- even the masterful Zhu Geliang of ancient times wasn't as smart as him, was he? No wonder even his older brother, the head of the house, always listened to what he said!
"Oh? Where's the lion?" Goudan turned to Xiao Ben.

"Hey!-- are you gonna stay asleep?!" a roar can be heard as a fat bearded man came knocking on the table of a young man. 

"You are here to work not to sleep, right?! if you want to sleep just go and apply for a leave!" the fat belly kept rising and falling as he panted from anger. Even the other people around are staring at the young man.

"ah? huh?-- ah Zhifang, sorry I--" the young man woke up dizzily.

"sorry what?! don't you know what day is it?! the boss-- our boss is coming here today!"

"huh? what day is it?"

"god! are you kidding me?! it's the 15th of June!... 15th! stupid!"

"eh?! wait! what? what's with 15?" the young man confusingly asked

"huh? what happened to you? are you ok?" Zhifang-the fatty asked with a worried expression as he finds it strange to see his friend dozing off for the first time. and waking up confuse.

Fatty Zhifeng knew that his friend may be shameless at times but he always works hard and put his all on his job. he never sees or expected that his friend can even doze off while working. He did not take it to the heart when he saw him dozing off when they are outside as every human need to rest but doing it in the middle of work and whats more he woke confused and forgotten what day it is. 

If it's just a normal day, Zhifeng won't bother much but this day? he was preparing for this day for months so he will naturally think it strange for his friend to act like this and will naturally be worried.

"I--I feel like I was in a dream world and I saw someone," 

"What is that that will happen?" still confused, the young man muttered.

"huh? are you sick? rest for a while-- wait! fuck you! don't make any excuses you shameless thing! that ogre is coming!" Zhifang's worried face turned pale and fear starts to rise from his eyes and forgotten the unusual behavior of his friend.

The young man was still feeling light-headed< what was that dream? it was a dream, right? then why is my head aching? is it because of dozing off on the table?. shit! it's like my head is being pierced by dozens of needles.>

"hey! why are you still dazing?. that ogre is coming! I saw that ogre's car that is why I come to warn you but who will ever think that you are sleeping on this very day?!" Zhifeng was already lost on panic.

The young man ignored fatty Zhifeng and the stares of his office mates and continue to think in his light-headedness when suddenly he saw a world or more precisely, a universe. 

The young man was shocked. He looked around and saw stars, planets asteroids, and shards, like broken glass. what caught his attention the most was those shards, it extended to infinite as if those shards can occupy a quarter of the universe. If a normal person saw this place, they will merely think that they were just floating in space but the young man knows that this isn't just a space or solar system but it was a universe. He looked intently and he knows that some asteroids are planets that can't be reached by the lights of the stars and some asteroids are as big as planets or even bigger. The young man also saw entities that eat stars and planets along with their path and some kind of tunnels that connect to one part of the universe to another.

He admits this is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. the starts glittered as new planets start to form. he doesn't know why he isn't afraid of those entities but one thing he knew, his mind became clear and calm as if he was at home relaxing his body and mind.

He looked at the shard again as he felt something whenever he stares at it and suddenly felt that it was all a fragment, fragments of something. he feels that it's not supposed to be in there but it was needed there. he felt that it was familiar but not, close but far, important yet no value but he can't tell what it is. he can tell that every fragment has life. it radiates life as if one touch of those can bring thousands of people alive, those are what decides life and death, and it's as if the heart of the universe. 

<It's a fragment but it feels like alive, what are those?"> the young man was just thinking these when a loud slap is heard that disrupt him in that place bringing him back on reality.

slap! bang!

The young man- on the floor was dazed at first then when he felt the pain in his cheek, he already knows what the slapping sound was and got mad but just as he was about to hit back, he was stupefied as he saw the person who hit him. He trembled as cold sweat started to roll down at his back.

"Are you awake now?" a cold voice was heard as everyone one the office started to tremble. Fatty Zhifeng was on the side with his pale face and trembling fats.

It was a woman, her long black hair flows down at her black coat, her black pencil skirt outlined her round, and juicy-- I mean firm buttocks. her eyes are cold but were covered with shades and her face is jaw-droppingly beautiful. she is the perfect definition of 'cold beauty'.

"need more slap before you stand up?" Su Fei was immediately infuriated as he saw the young man still taking his moments on the floor.

What she disdains the most is people who slack while piling their job on others-- Irresponsible, she also disdains people who ignore her just like what this young man did to her a while ago when she is talking to him, she tags them as haughty people-- Self-important, and she disdains this young man to the very core-- hate.

Yes, in the eyes of Su Fei this young man is irresponsible, self-important, shameless, and disgusting that is why she hates him.

although she only heard of him on the rumors she hears around her she still chose to believe as she can now see it with her own eyes.

"not only did you sleep in working hours, but you also ignore me! what? are you going to hit back if it's not me? I slap you because you dare to doze off in front of me!" Su Fei, coldly she criticized the young man.

The young man was who was dazed at first was now braking in cold sweat because he knew who this tyrant ogre is. She is the daughter of  Su Cheng, the owner of both the BioTech Pharmaceutical that is famous around the world for creating known drugs, and effective vaccines and the Stone Tech Industry that just recently released their new UCAV, the type 57 Combat drone that is now known worldwide and countries keep competing for it.

He admits that almost hit her back, that slap made him came back to reality. he recalled what day is now and the reason why he was slapped, but he still wonders what that dream was that made him muddled-headed and spaced-out during work hours.

What will happen if that happens?

Perhaps that will never happen?

but it always happens, from the beginning

and it always happens without us knowing

but what is it that will happen?

perhaps I should remember what happened.

And maybe what I want to happen will happen.

"It's the end of our shift so we were leaving together, nothing important." Judy answered while shaking her head.

"Oh, so that's how it is? Then let's leave all together, you're ready I guess?" Brittney said while looking to Sam with a smile.

"Yep, let's go." Judy acted like any normal person would and agreed with a smile.

After saying good bye to the manager and the others they left.

"She was so pretty, I never expected that Sam was into girls, let alone that she has such a pretty girlfriend." Robin said after the three left.

"... I don't like her." Alex said while still looking at them moving away.

"Eh? Why?" Asked the manager.

"... Just Didn't like her... Anyway, I just arrived to work and I'm this tired, manager can I leave early today?"

"No." The manager gave one word answer and ignored her.

As soon as Sam, Judy and Brittney left the shop, the atmosphere turned a bit weird.

The reason why Brittney came to where Sam worked was because she was getting suspicious, Sam was getting home a bit later than usual, if it happened just once or twice it would have been normal but it happened a lot and she started getting angry at her.

But she didn't show that, she wanted to go to her shop around the time her shift ends and see for herself what was making her stay late.

At first, when she saw the manager and the other two workers she didn't feel anything weird, they were like normal workmates, nothing was wrong there, but as soon as she heard Judy call her, she felt something was weird and guessed that she found the reason of Sam's unusual behaviour.

"So Judy, where do you live? We live on the East side, Should we take taxi together?"

"Nah, I live on the North, so no need for that." Judy shook her head, before asking:

"What do you do Brittney? Where do you work?" She was interested in what Brittney was doing.

"Me? I don't, but fortunately I have Sam, even though she's not the brightest tool in the shed, she's good at what she does, and she knows how to take care of me." While saying that, she held Sam and brought her close to her.

Judy frowned seeing that, which didn't escape Brittney's eyes.

Sam on her end was just walking beside them like a doll, being between those two people was like a nightmare for her, her heart was on her throat the whole time they were together, that only got worst afyer she knew that what was waiting for her at home wasn't a pretty thing for sure.

"Actually Sam is a great person, she's also good at her job and with customers." Judy couldn't stop herself from saying.

"Hehe... There's no need to praise her like that in front of me, I know how much of a useless thing she can be." It seemed that seeing Sam being praised and defended made Brittney a bit angry, as if she felt she was being chalanged and felt a bit threatened, so her comments towards Sam wasn't as gentle as before.

Brittney didn't like Judy since the first time she saw her, she felt that the reason sam was acting like that was because of her.

"You're calling her useless while she's the only one working? Don't know what your definition of useless is but I think you should go and look it up in a dictionary." Judy's feeling started boiling a bit as she said that.

Stoping on her track for a bit, Brittney showed an angry expression but it soon disappeared and she smiled as she started walking again:

"She's my lover, I have the right to use her money, and if she doesn't mind why would you? Right Sam, you don't mind me just staying at home with no job."

Sam's face fall even more, she didn't want to answer that question, she didn't want to go against Brittney but she also knew that Judy only said that for her sake, she didn't want to hurt her either.

"I'm Sam's friend and I have the right to talk about things like this." Judy, understanding that Sam was in a difficult position, talked without giving her the chance to.

"A friend..." Brittney murmured, but soon the smile on her face became somehow evil as she said, "Yep you're just a friend, while I'm her lover, a friend can be replaced, while she will never leave me."

After saying that Brittney held Sam who was trying her best to seem unnoticed between them and brought her close, trying to kiss her forcefully.

Sam was surprised at first because she was spacing out while wishing that nothing between those two would happen, but as soon as Brittney caught her with a strong grip that hurt her, she returned to herself, but soon after that she froze as she saw Brittney's glaring eyes while bringing her face closer, those eyes and that expression made her blood run cold and her action stop.

If it was at home, or even if it was with any other person except of Judy, she might have just let it be, but it was Judy who was standing next to the, the last person she ever wanted to see her in a situation like that, so she struggled to free herself from her.

Sam's struggle only made Brittney's fire burn more, she used both her hands and held her in her place strongly, not giving any care for how she was feeling.

"You bit*h.."

Judy exploded as she saw that, so she cursed and lifted her hand.

SLAP!

A loud slap was heard, shocking and freezing everyone who was there.

Brittney held her cheek as she looked in disbelief at Judy who was painting with an angry expression.

"You're NOT allowed to treat her like that." After she shouted that she held Sam who was just standing there unmoving, and dragged her as she left, leaving Brittney standing there holding her cheek.

When your fairytale turns into a nightmare and all hope seem to be gone, how will you react if a silver lining suddenly shows itself for you, will you struggle to leave your nightmare or will you just give up and accept your fate...

'It's been awhile...' the only thought that resounded in Pascal's head. He'd of course come to Aethel Gardens many times but those were times when he was younger and mischievous. It'd been a long time since he properly stood underneath the tall Autumn Oak which acted as the guardian of Aethel.

Pascal would pass by of course; the Gardens were a place everyone had to pass to get to Dusk Fields. But those who truly stayed behind to stand underneath Autumn Oak were few to none. And now at this time on a blisteringly hot summers day with clear blue skies above, Pascal was the only one here. His heart beating along with the steady summer winds as they swept through the Autumn Oaks leaves.

"Rare to see you here, Guttersnipe. Enjoying the summer sun?"

Pascal tilted his head at the statement, his quiet moment of contemplation broken by the sarcastic yet polite tone of the man behind him. "My Lady's second personal butler, Hevsham Isinger. Still as grumpy and sarcastic as ever."

Cladding a simple black suit was a man with hair as dark as what he was wearing. Hevsham Isinger, was the ward of Ivras Ai, the previous Duke of Hilver City and now one of only two personal butlers of the duchess of Hilvers: Ryshara Tilvana Ai. "I believe I'm quite allowed to be grumpy Guttersnipe. Her Lady specifically asked me to come greet a simple plebeian as well as to escort said plebeian to her home."

Pascal gave a smirk, he turned around to face the man behind him. Jet black eyes, strong jaw line... Every aspect of him was in a sense the very definition of what the general public would consider perfect. Pascal's usual indifference faded away as he stared at Hevsham, a playful grin making its way across his lips.

"Tsk Tsk, Mr Isinger I'd expect a butler of the Greatest Household in Vastro to have more... Decorum. And let's not forget at least I'm a plebeian with a title that even nobles can't turn a blind eye to." Stopping there Pascal's grin turned from playful to condescending as he continued, "Where as you, you're just a plebeian working for a man who wouldn't let you marry his daughter."

Silence pervaded the air as Pascal's words ended. The visible frown lines on Hevsham as he quietly clenched his fist in indignation, humiliation. He had no way to refute Pascal's words. They were all true and the humiliation he'd receive soon turned into anger as he launched his clenched fist straight at Pascal.

Hevsham's fist had ignited, a wreath of blue flames cackled as his punch was about to land square on Pascal's jaw. As the flaming fist inched ever closer to Pascal's face he raised his hand and simply cupped Hevsham's burning fist.

Struggle insued as Hevsham increased his output of mana aiming to at least burn Pascal. It was all for naught however as Pascal's signature grin flashed across his face. The blue flames which had burned, seemingly extinguished as the mana supporting the spell was forcefully pushed back into Hevsham's body.

"Ahhhhh!!!" Hevsham let out a blood curdling scream as his once normal looking hand burned from the inside out. The mana which he had let out was out of his control as he glared at Pascal. Striking blue veins appeared on Hevsham's hand.

Hevsham was on his knees. The severe pain starting from his fingers had shot up through his entire body, as if a hammer striking hot iron. His face contorted as his own mana was burning him and all he could do was glare at Pascal's grin.

"Tch, the fun is over..."

A long blade, it's edge, resting silently on Pascal's neck. And a man, tidy and neat with a butlers suit holding it. Grey haired, well groomed mustache and pale ashen eyes. "Young Master, you took much too long that Her Lady, personally insisted I escort you." Pascal looked deeply into the man's eyes, a hint of true respect reflected in both.

"Sorry to keep Ry Ai waiting. But never did I expect for her to send you, Gus." Pascal flashed a mischievous smirk as he ended the sentence. Gus gave a long sigh as he sheathed his blade back in his cane. "Only you call me that, Young Master. The great Gustav Friar, the scourge of Orin. His name shortened to a simple Gus... Age truly does get the best of us."

The two stared again at each other before laughing. The Autumn Oak seemingly responding in kind as its leaves fall upon their head.

Gus picked Hevsham back onto his feet and gave him a tight slap to his face. Looking down at Hevsham, Gus could not control his anger. As Head butler of the Ai Household all servants were trained to keep their emotions in check especially when it came to receiving personal guest of the household. And yet here in plain sight a butler of this esteemed household had attacked a man. And not just any man. A boy! A boy who wielded more power in Hilvers than the duchy itself. "What!" Ethan exclaimed in disbelief, before shutting his eyes, feeling awful. "Damn it!" 
Diana smiled at his reaction and rested her head on his chest, "it's nothing. I'm glad it's today we did it and I'm glad it's with you." she said with a smile as she listens to his heart beating in her ear.
"I didn't know, I'm so sorry." Ethan said in a moody tone.
Diana didn't want to ruin the mood, but just thought it felt nice to actually got laid on her actual day, without planning beforehand. It's funny to her and thought he would find the coincidence funny as well.
