Scroll was once mentioned to have gained her ability because she always sought knowledge by reading. But what if there was also something else that could have influenced her abilities?
This is a short fan fiction of a short piece of Scroll's past when she was young and had met a man who had also loved books.

Maybe it was the cheerful atmosphere in the air, or maybe it was all the chaos drink that she had consumed throughout the night, but something inside of Scroll made her want to speak up and tell a story. 
“I’ll go next,’ Scroll spoke up after the previous story. Everyone looked at Scroll expectantly. Out of everyone here, Scroll should have the most memory to remember all her encounters and all the things she has read. Surely her story would be everything but boring.
And slowly, Scroll began to recite her story.

In participation of the RTW fan fiction contest. I was one of those kids that received participation awards because I didn't excel in anything.

"Where should we go from here?" Qiuyue asked Su Yang after they left the Four Seasons Academy.

"Anywhere that will allow them to find us easily," Su Yang casually replied.

"If I recall correctly, Father enjoys drinking wine, right? Although it cannot compare to the wines available in the Four Divine Heavens, it should be just enough to quench your thirst."

"Hmm? You are inviting me to drink wine? If you are not careful, I might end up also consuming you! Hahaha!" Su Yang burst out laughing.

"..."

Qiuyue looked speechless, but deep inside, she was wishing for it to actually happen!

The middle-aged man that received the paper scroll from Su Yang rushed to the meeting hall, where the Matriarch and many other high profile Sect Elders are currently gathered.

"Which ill-mannered disciple is causing such a ruckus outside while knowing that there was going to be an important meeting today?" One of the individuals from inside the meeting hall said with a frown on his face.

Bang! The door to the meeting hall suddenly opened, and the middle-aged man came rushing inside.

"Who dares to barge in here without permission?! Prepare for your punishment!" Another individual shouted.

"Wait… Elder Deng? Are you out of your mind? What do you think you are doing, acting like this?"
When the people in the meeting hall finally realized who the troublemaker was, they all gasped with shock.

How could a Sect Elder act in such a misbehaving manner, much less Elder Deng, one of the Great Elders?

"I-I know! But this is urgent! Matriarch, please, look at this!"

Elder Deng ignored the other individuals in the room and directly approached the old woman sitting at the end of the room.

"I sure hope that this urgency of yours is worth interrupting our meeting…"

The Matriarch casually grabbed the scroll and opened it to read the contents.

However, two words into the scroll, the Matriarch's eyes widened with shock and even stood from her seat.

"T-This is—! Where did you get this?! Tell me!" The Matriarch stared at Elder Deng with narrowed eyes filled with killing intent, and the Profound Qi of a Sovereign Spirit Realm expert pressured the room.

When the others in the room saw this, they looked at the situation with fearful expressions. What happened? What was in the scroll that caused the usually calm Matriarch to get all rowdy?

Startled, Elder Deng spoke in a hasty manner, "T-T-There was this group of children! They approached the Sect and asked me to pass this scroll to the Matriarch!"

"A group of children? What did they want?"

"They said something about doing business!"

"Business? What else?"

"T-That was all they told me…"

The Matriarch collected her Profound Qi back into her body and sat back down with a pondering expression.

"When did this happen?" she then asked him.

"Just now." Elder Deng immediately replied, not daring to delay the answer for even a second.

"Are they still out there? Bring them to me right now!"
"..."

Elder Deng instantly turned silent and stood there like a stone statue. Bring them to her? Bring who? The people he'd already chased away before reporting to her?

"Why are you still standing there? Did you not hear my words just now?" The Matriarch asked him with a frown.

"M-Matriarch… these individuals you speak of… they have already left," said Elder Deng, his back filled with cold sweat.

"What?! You allowed them to leave even after seeing this paper?! Are you stupid?!" The settled Matriarch suddenly turned agitated once again.

"I-I thought they were only here to fool around, so I sent them away before actually reading the contents of the scroll. They were only kids, after all."

Elder Deng explained everything that had happened to everyone else in the room.

"..."

The Matriarch turned silent after listening to him, and her anger was even subdued.

"I understand," she suddenly said. "You are not to be blamed for your actions, as I'm certain that everyone in this room would've reacted the same way if they were in your shoes, and I apologize for acting up; that was not very professional of me."

"There's no need for the Matriarch to apologize to this disciple! I also should've been more patient with them before chasing them away!" Elder Deng bowed to her with respect.

"Matriarch, if you don't mind me asking, what is the content of that scroll?"

An old man with a similar age to the Matriarch suddenly asked the question that was in everybody's mind.

The Matriarch sighed and said, "The content of this scroll is nothing new to everyone here, but that's exactly why it is concerning…"

"It is nothing new to everyone here?"

The Elders were still puzzled.

"See for yourself," said the Matriarch as she tossed the scroll to the old man.

"This is! This is impossible!"

The old man's almost closed eyes widened the moment he read the scroll. He then looked around the room at every single individual there with doubt in his gaze.

"Stop right there," the Matriarch suddenly said. "I can tell what you are thinking right now, but I trust everyone in this room as the Matriarch and as fellow disciples, not to mention that the contents to the scroll already exceeds the knowledge of everyone here, so it's impossible for anyone of us to have leaked it outside."

After a moment of silence, the old man nodded and said, "I understand. I apologize for doubting you all."

The other Elders exchanged puzzled looks with each other. In the end, what is the content of the scroll?

"Here, take a look at this…"

The old man then opened the scroll in a way so everyone in the room could read it.

[Soul Divination Pill Recipe…]

"What?!"

Everyone in the room shouted simultaneously.

"How is that possible?! We have been researching the Soul Divination Pill's recipe for generations now and have never spoken to anyone about our findings!"

"Wait! How do we know it's real? It can be fake for all we know—"

"It's highly unlikely that this is fake." The Matriarch shook her head. "I also thought the same at first, but if you haven't noticed already, the recipe here has the exact same material as our research… and more…"

"You are right! Then this is really…"

"What's important right now isn't this paper but the person who wrote it. We must find these individuals immediately and find out what they want from us! Elder Deng, you will assist us in this, correct?"

"Of course!" Elder Deng quickly replied.

"Good! As for this meeting, we will continue at a later date. Does anyone here disagree?"

After a moment of silence, the Matriarch nodded. "Very well. Then this concludes the meeting!"

Slowly reading through the contents of the letter that looks like a scroll which is rapidly turning dry and crumpled as if the wood that the paper was made out of lost its final bits of life that it had retained.
The scroll finally turned so dry that even the ink started to fade away as the scroll can't even retain resemblance of what it used to be and finally turned to ashes which was carried away by the lake wind.
Disappearing as mysteriously as the scroll appeared like it was all an illusion, but if one paid attention without losing any focus one would notice a really faint magic array fading away really fast; 'DECAY MAGIC'.
The old man looked toward the tube casing from which he took out the scroll from and noticed exactly the same scene that the scroll went through replaying itself; cracking, losing luster and finally turned to ashes which were carried away by the lake wind; scattering till nothing is left.
The old man cracked a half cold smile while watching this scene playing out in front of him while softly saying under his breath, "Heh, you old legends haven't forgotten of me in times of needs, huh?"
Suddenly realizing that he was calling himself old too, as he too was considered as a legend nowadays among the living ordinary people and even a mythical folklore in the eyes of people that teach youths even when there is some evidence left of his existence, it is too old and very lacking thus it was concluded as exaggerated stuff to make kids work harder toward their goals.
As this realization dawned upon him, the old man narrowed his eyes into slits for a brief moment before sighing, while going back to pondering over what he just read from the letter and to do about it.
Time ticked by, as the dusk kept on going till the very last light from the horizon faded away and darkness slowly descended upon him, making his long shadow behind his back disappear into the dark and quiet night.
Even though the night was quiet and dark, on the lake with only the stars and moonlight to illuminate the surroundings, there was an eerie atmosphere that would deter any passersby and had the courage to dare come this deep into the forest if even they dared to enter the forest in the first place that is.
Strangely enough, even when the atmosphere in forest and its nearby areas had this extremely threatening feeling, the old man acted indifferent toward it and as if having made a pact among themselves, no beast made any noise during the night besides a couple of quick mournful shrieks before dying down to the tranquilness that suited the night.
Having been pondering over the letter and its content and context for a very long time, the old man went to pick up his staff while humming broken lines with a still half pondering expression seemingly making a decision, "hmm... I should... as a farewell... right?... for old times sake!".
As if coming to a decision his face eased up as the pondering expression was replaced by a solemn and a trace of an anticipating expression could be seen on the old mans face.
Actually the old man wasn't pondering over the letters content as there was really nothing to ponder over as it was very short and concise as if the scroll was sent in an emergency, well even the most useless person; an alcoholic, could come up with the idea that this might be an emergency as it is not normal for scrolls to be delivered through void and on to top it of the tube casing wasn't frozen or destroyed when it arrived but only disappeared after the letter was read.
The pulling forces in the void would stretch even an mountain much less a tube of glass casing while the absolute chilling temperature would freeze even an active and lively star albeit slowly and it might be stretched thin before it shut down due to loss of activity and heat.
The scrolls content were, "Greetings WeiZhe. This is a bit embarrassing to ask, since I know no one believed you when you were informing us about this, but we hope... No I hope you could come to the gathering and center place of all magic knowledge so we could discuss about the current problem. Your Go playing - Old Buddy."
That's right the old man's name is WeiZhe just WeiZhe.
It has been such a long time that the old man forgot his own and his family name while immersing himself in his studies. As time kept on doing its duty, people around him gradually also forgot his name and background as that became irrelevant and since no one knew what to call him by he took it upon himself and got named WeiZhe or otherwise known as The Great Sage.
Indeed it is quite an arrogant move to name oneself that and obnoxious too but everyone accepted it since it was quite fitting.
Although he should have some relatives alive as his genes did go to the next generation through his siblings hard work as he himself never got married much less have any interactions with women aside for seeking more knowledge.
But this does not mean he doesn't understand the relationship between a man and a woman, as he did his own extensive research on this topic with his own methods.
But then again WeiZhe never had any interest in the mundane worlds affairs so even if he saw his relatives alive and struggling he wouldn't care about them unless they had some new knowledge that could pique his interest and he would provide protection in return.
Although this world is not so brutal that you couldn't feel safe for even a minute as there are cities that protect its people but even then that only gives you protection from beasts, to truly feel safe it can be achieved if your parents have wealth and power or you have amazing talent which make someone appreciate you.
WeiZhe after reading the letter and making the decision of going, turns around to go inside the study room from the small balcony while his magic wand disappears just as mysteriously it first appeared.
It seems WeiZhe is capable of making objects disappear with his will.
But if you looked closely you would realize that there is a thin glowing bracelet which is actually hidden from sight as it is tucked behind the sleeves of the white robe with silver lining and azure glow on it that WeiZhe is wearing currently. And it actually fits him quite well with his white beard and hair.
Sauntering toward the handmade wooden working desk WeiZhe poured himself some water and drank it in one gulp. 
After drinking his fill he opened the closest drawer in the wooden desk and some stuff vanished from inside it before anyone could see what was taken and it was closed also as fast as the stuff disappeared.
After doing the same thing on couple of other drawers and cupboards he finally stopped as the thin bracelet on his right arm stopped glowing and returned to its normal state of color - white tungsten.
Walking toward the small balcony again WeiZhe suddenly turned sad for a moment as he turned around to look at the tower in the disguise of a mansion, he said, "I will miss this place but alas time is not forgiving, nothing last forever and even the longest of happiest of times needs to come to an end. It's time."
Waving his hand as the window doors to the balcony starts closing, he disappears from the balcony right as the doors close with click sound.
Slowly, the mansion that has floated above the sea like lake for countless years, starts to sink as the enlightenment, knowledge and wisdom this tower has brought to mankind fades at the bottom of the sea like lake.
"PsFF BANgG"
After some time a loud eruption happens in the bottom of the lake sending water gushing towards the heaven looking like it is trying to pierce sky in one move.
This lasts for a long time and the gushing water keeps on going upward as if there's no end, some people far away lands or in the high above sky are able to see this phenomenon as they wonder.
'Has some esteemed mages experiment gone awry?'.
But this wonderful sight that was painted by painters and remembered by ordinary people as a miracle, slowly died down as the darkness of night blended this sight with itself.
Some startled and cautious beast roaming around the lake are conveying an astonished expression through their eyes as they wonder.
'How could that old monsters den disappear?'.

Even when possessing all the knowledge and wisdom there is, no one still believed The Sage when they needed to.

The Sage, who knew what will eventually happen took it upon himself to change the tragic fate that awaited everyone, but he didn't do it for the sake of others but for himself!

Indeed, he didn't become known as The Sage for his kindness towards others but for his greed and love for knowledge and wisdom!

I usually write until I use up everything my brain has to give me in one sitting. Although I am no English teacher, my grammar might only include some small mistakes since I do one proof even on my exam papers ?.

Anyway, nonetheless I can guarantee that my chapters will be consistent throughout the entire novel, but I'll need feedback on "If YOU reader like lots of minor chapters or one long one."

(Minor is basically chapter 1, about 800-1000 words, takes 2-3 hours to write If idea plan is ready and 10 minutes more to think of a suitable title. As for one long one it would be 5-20 times more longer, depends on how much I'm comfortable with word count per chapter, after all writing an entire volume in one chapter is no good.)

Dolly and I headed straight to the palace and consult to look for Serena and Leto. This time, the two are no longer drinking tea. They are gathered on the map that I draw yesterday. There are some small pieces of silver figurines and a few flags being put in different locations. The pieces were also differentiated from red and blue which mean this is a tactical planning.

When we entered the room, Serena and Leto both looked relieved seeing our faces.

"Alright, you two are just on time," Leto said.

"Did something happen?" I asked. Although Dolly's info is quite reliable, its quite lacking since she did not participate in the battle. If I can see another pioneer besides us, I can probably ask but its a pity that most of them logged out after almost a day of playing the game. Even me, don't dare to play the game for that long. 

"Its like this, the Pioneers other than you are tasked to defend the city from the invading army. However, we didn't expect that a Demon General will appear. He demands the killers of his brother Mephisto or else he will destroy the whole Sandurk Continent. The pioneers managed to defend the place but we can't last long and managed to make the enemy retreat for a while. However, if the enemies managed to recover faster than our army, we will be annihilated. However, since the tow of you are one of the strongest pioneers in Resurgia, we beg of you to defeat this general. According to our intel, this General is carrying the item that gives power to the boss. Killing him and destroying the item he held will greatly weaken the enemy," Leto said.

"I see, where is the battleground? We will head there," I said to her.

"At least you two needed to prepare. Although the two of you are one of the strongest Pioneers, we can't just underestimate the Demon General that almost annihilated the army if not for the help of the Pioneers. Soon, that Demon General will be attacking here again. And since most of the soldiers are exhausted, we need to strike preemptively,"Serena said to us.

Dolly looked at Serena and Leto, before she looked into the map.

"A sabotage?" Dolly raised her eyebrow.

"Yes, we need to sabotage the place," Leto looked at me and then she produced a scroll before giving it to me.

"Bladeheart, you are a Versatile and all of the skills that other classes have can be easily used by you, this scroll will give you an early access to a lost class that is going to help you in the battle. I deemed you worthy of using the scroll in exchange that this place and the Sandurk Continent is remaining safe from the trouble," Leto said to me.

I stare at the rolled scroll. What is the content of this scroll anyway? I nodded at Leto and Serena. I also looked at Dolly but she just shrugged since she knew that she can't learn a single other class other than the magician class. I nodded and rolled out the scroll. Reading its contents prove useless since I can't understand a single sh*t but then, several panels appeared in my vision.

"Saboteur(1) class unlocked permanently! Since the class is considered as unreleased class in the future patches, the Saboteur class you gained has an additional 5 skills. Check the five skills added for you to use! Also, all skills are unlocked and fully upgraded due to the consumption of [Ancient Saboteur Class Scroll]"

My eyes moved to the next panel and saw unfamiliar skills that was said to be the new additional skills that my Saboteur class posses.

1. Tripwire Bomb (Tier 7)
Cooldown: 3 seconds
Mana Consumption: 10
Usage: Used for the Plant Tripwire Skill.
Description: Creates a Tripwire that will explode once a certain movement is detected on the wire. Needed the skill [Plant Tripwire] to use. Bombs will be labeled as Consumable once the skill is used and will show up in the inventory.

2. Plant Tripwire (Tier 7)
Cooldown: 0 seconds
Mana Consumption: 0 seconds
Deployment time: 30 seconds
Description: Plants the Tripwire Bomb on a certain place specified by the user. Works well in killing enemies without them noticing their demise. Needed to own a [Tripwire Bomb] to use.

3. Wire Choker (Tier 6)
Cooldown: 0 seconds
Mana Consumption: 30 MP per minute.
Description: Conjures thin wires to choke the victim. Has a 10% chance of decapitating the target especially if being used in ambush. Ignores defense and strikes the vitals. Needed to be used manually.

4. Landmine Pitfall (Tier 7)
Cooldown: 2 minutes
Mana Consumption 200 MP
Deployment Time: 1 minute
Description: Creates a pitfall where the victim will land on a place filled with landmine. Kills the target 100%. Cannot be used bosses.

5. Demolition Team (Tier 8)
Cooldown: 5 hours
Mana Consumption:  5,000 MP
Description: Summons Nano mites to devour a certain infrastructure. Can destroy the infrastructure in 10 seconds.

Reading the five extra skills, these skills are indeed the skills of a saboteur! This is not something that the future patch has, the saboteur class I obtained is unique and only I posses this class! This came in the right time. I can use the skills for the enemies after the attacks. What is more amazing is the Demolition Team skill. What if I use this to the guild house of the Sakatsushi family once they start rebuilding the place? Imagining the angry faces of those guys seeing their hard paid building and riches to just suddenly disappear all of a sudden. Only one thing is certain. This skill is wicked!

"Sultan Leto! Serena-sama! This scroll is pretty useful! I am very grateful for this!" I bowed sincerely to them.

"Sure, just bring us the good news and we will be really happy and will calm down if everything is settled. You can go right away you two are the only one who can go. My soldiers are still wounded and if there are a few people who can go, they are too weak and easy to spot. However, you two are strong. I am content that the two of you can do it and will succeed this mission. You two are the strongest pioneers I recruited. I am willing to do it in exchange of the safety and averting the destruction of the world," Leto said and made a salute. Everyone else also did, giving us an overwhelming support for our upcoming sabotage quest.

Instead of choosing the Magic Knight class, he instead choose the class that most players have to struggle with using. However, after doing a few things different from the past timeline, he found out that the past is now rewritten slowly as he messed up the events that should unfold, making a new future. Questions and mysteries slowly arises as he pieced together everything he knew. And what is the secret behind the game? Is it really a game or something more?

Ibro was left alone in the room. The first he did was to take a deep breath trying to calm himself. He had been under constant stress for a long time. 
Since he came back from the future he didn't gain one second on rest. He thought his coming back would make his life easier, instead, it made it messy. 
He then looked at this ring. He started to check its content with his mind. It had a really wide space inside. 
Although it was smaller than his dimensional bag that was full of ores, its space was big. Inside there wasn't only the cultivation technique. 
Ibro found rows of different things there. Some were bottles like the one he drank when he was injured before. 
He concluded they were like potions in the game. There were other things too like weapons and ores. 
He didn't know what these things were used for but what he cared about now was this cultivation technique. Ibro retrieved this cultivation technique. It was written on a scroll. 
He opened it and began to read it carefully. To his surprise, this scroll content was much similar to the one he took from the saint. 
The main differences were in the number of stages in this scroll. Here was around 10 main stages. Each stage had 10 substages inside. 
The spiritual energy absorption was also a stage here. Unlike the technique which the saint had given him where this stage wasn't considered a stage at all. 
He also found beside each stage the info related to each stage. This info included how to train in each stage, how to level up between substages, and finally, there was the test each cultivator had to undergo after ending one main stage. 
This test was called heaven tribulation. He had never heard of such a term before. 
There was some info related to these tribulations. Ibro didn't read them all as he had a long way till he could reach this step. 
Ibro then checked the beginning of the training. It was written there that he needed to sit on the ground directly not separated by anything. 
The reason mentioned there for him to be connected with the earth meridians. He didn't get the full meaning behind this word but he moved to sit on the ground directly.
He then took the posture that was drawn on the scroll. That posture was strangely similar to the picture that was provided in the saint scroll. 
He closed his eyes then began to regulate his breathing in a monotonous regular rhythm. One breath in, keep it in for a second, then breathe it out. 
He repeated this process time after time without stop. At first, he found it difficult to maintain this posture with his breathing but with time he started to accommodate it. 
Time after time he kept breathing in and out like this. Gradually he felt some form of energy start to gather into his body. 
This energy also resonated with some sort of energy deep in the ground. With time he felt he was united with the universe around him, he felt the same tranquility he felt in this world since his foot touched it.
He lost his realization of time, space and even himself. He kept breathing in to take the whole world into his body and breathe out to take the world out. 
Suddenly he jolted from this state under the effect of the huge energy that was formed into his body. Ibro wasn't an 8 years old kid that started his training.

The speed of this energy was increasing second after second. When he watched closely he figured out the source of this energy surge he was feeling. 
Each time this energy broke through a higher speed it was like it broke through a barrier. 
This energy began to break barrier after barrier without even showing any sign of stopping. Ibro didn't know what to do. 
According to the scroll, he needed to rotate the energy inside his new dantian for at least 100 full rounds before he could start to open his meridians. 
Now, this energy reached the degree that he couldn't even feel their speed anymore and his body kept booming again and again. 
He decided to take the risk, this wild energy wasn't stopping at all. He didn't know what would happen if he stopped here. 
He didn't have any confidence in his ability to deal with energy if it went faster. he started to guide the energy to move outside his newly formed dantian to feel sudden severe pain that jolted him. 
This energy couldn't be touched easily. That made him more determined, whatever it took him he needed to stop it here and now. 
He gritted his teeth. He needed to withstand that pain no matter what. He tried again with firm resolve this time. 
He started to feel severe pain increasing second after second but he didn't stop in his trial. 
He tried to push the energy with all the power he had to move outside the dantian… but yet he failed again. this time he spit out a mouthful of blood and he even broke his posture. 
He wiped out the blood and looked at the blood he spat. This energy is really toxic to him. He can never allow it to keep there anymore. 
He clenched his fist and retook the posture again. He closed his eyes with extreme determination. 
He tried this time and didn't push the energy, but he tried to shift the course of its rotation. He tried to make it shift towards outside the dantian. 
He directed it towards one major meridian that was connected to his dantian according to that drawing at the scroll. 
He pictured that drawing clearly in his mind and focused very hard trying to push it slightly step by step.

Sennefer, however, was a very different witch compared to others. This woman had completely given up on finding affection and love—she based her lifestyle solely on her own ideals, even more so than most wizards.
Sennefer was a true genius. In less than a century, she became a level-2 wizard and found the "path of truth". Such a feat was almost as astounding as what Sunders had done.

Angor quickly recalled more than one approach for ascertaining the truth, such as truth-telling spells and skills used by prophets.
"Whether Sennefer has been to the Nightmare Realm doesn't concern us." Sunders narrowed his eyes as he spoke again, "What we should know is that she is interested in the Nightmare Realm. The real question is, is it Sennefer or the Moonfrost Union who's after the scroll."
Angor knew that his professor meant to talk about some other fishy business that involved the Union, and he somehow got an overall idea. "Which one do you prefer, sir?"
"Well, I do hope that it's the Union looking for the Nightmare Realm. As for the reason…" The gentleman glanced at Angor. "I think you can tell."
Angor shifted to a more comfortable position on the sofa. He knew what Sunders meant. Sennefer was strong enough to venture into the Nightmare Realm and even find treasures. If the entire Moonfrost Union decided to explore the Nightmare Realm by sending a team in, they might come back after receiving some serious beating, or they might not come back at all. To Sunders, who always disliked the Union, it was something worth laughing for.
Even if the Union somehow found new stuff in the Nightmare Realm, this would always benefit other explorers such as Sunders.
While Sunders and Angor talked about the Union, several other guests from the other VIP rooms spoke to support Sennefer's question. They all hoped that Sky Auction could give them a better explanation regarding Travel In Dreamland.

Since an "acknowledged" Nightmare Realm explorer revealed his attitude, those who were complaining earlier all stayed quiet.
Melantha raised an eyebrow as she considered what she just heard. 
So this scroll is real after all? I see, so they weren't overestimating the true value of the Nightmare Realm…
She spoke again after regaining her professional and neutral look, "The scroll recorded the exact location of the shelter. Anyone who wins this scroll may go and confirm the reliability of it by yourself."
Everyone perked up upon hearing this.
But soon, they deflated again when they heard Sennefer's voice:
"So what? How do you enter the Nightmare Realm in the first place? Nobody can tell when or how a tunnel will show up. Besides, I highly doubt that message. I won't explain why because everyone who knew about Nightmare Realm must have already noticed."
Sunders chuckled. "Forget what I said earlier. Now I'm sure Sennefer went inside Nightmare Realm at least once."
Angor nodded as he also comprehended the message hidden in Sennefer's words.
Melantha, however, couldn't understand why Sennefer said so. As the auctioneer, she chose to stick to her job by finishing the "message" she received from the scroll's provider. "There is more. Any memory that involves Mystery-level items or indescribable presences will be deleted from your mind once you leave Nightmare Realm. But it seems that the composer of this scroll is not affected by such a rule."
No one protested this time.
Sennefer openly said her opinion just because she knew about the "memory loss" issue. Sunders was also an example because the gentleman knew there was "a certain amazing channeling method book" in Nether City, yet he couldn't remember its name or content.
How was it possible that someone recorded the properties of Mystery items in such a detailed manner?
