Three Months Later 

 
 

 
 

When I woke, it was to James cuddling me and me cuddling Aria. I sighed pleasantly as I savored this wonderful moment. 

“Sounds like you had a good night’s sleep,” James said softly near my ear. 

I giggled as I nodded in the positive. “That I did,” I said. “After all, yesterday was tiring, especially after the shopping expedition with Aria and Savannah.” 

As promised, James had brought Aria and me along to Vegas for his next business trip, and now here we were. For two days now, Savannah and I, along with Aria, had been going on a serious shopping expedition in Vegas. God, if only Alice and Yuki could have come along, it would have been even more amazing. The sisters would get to meet Savannah, who had heard so much from me via our regular phone calls. But of course they couldn’t because, well, they just couldn’t since their situation was so unique and, needless to say, very complicated. 

James chuckled. “You’ve been having fun spending my money, haven’t you?” 

I grinned. “Well, you did give me the credit card, so it’s actually your fault for allowing me free rein.” 

“So it’s my fault now, is it?” He snuggled his nose against my nape, searching for a kiss. “But I do expect some sexy lingerie in the mix. You’ll have to model it for me.” 

I blushed. “Yes, there is some sexy lingerie,” I admitted. I turned to look at him and said, a twinkle in my eyes, “And I’ll show them to you very soon.” I moved in a bit and kissed him on the lips hotly. 

He grinned widely. “Can’t wait.” 

Then Aria woke, and soon, we all got out of bed and got ourselves ready. 

After a hearty breakfast, James left for work. “I’ll see you two at lunch,” he said. 

I nodded. 

“Bye, Daddy,” Aria said after kissing him on the cheek. 

Once he was gone, Aria and I left the presidential suite of the hotel as well, and we embarked on another day of fun. By that afternoon, I was hungry, and as planned, we met up with James, William, and Savannah, and Matt and Andy for lunch at Sky Restaurant and Bar on the top floor of The Maxwell Hotel, Casino, and Resort, which was a couple floors above our suite. 

The food was indeed delicious and the company wonderful, and I had to admit I felt so happy and blessed in my life. To think that I had come from such a dark place to be here with James and Aria and everyone else. I just couldn’t believe it. Sometimes at night, I’d pinch myself just to make sure I hadn’t been dreaming, that the life I was having with James was real. 

Thinking back… If Andy hadn’t come to Vegas with the ambition to make money and free us from our poverty, if he hadn’t screwed up big-time and owed James two million dollars, if I hadn’t come to negotiate with James about that debt—I wouldn’t have been here now. 

Furthermore, if Aria hadn’t found me and helped me that first day I had arrived in L.A, I would have no idea how my life would have turned out now. If she hadn’t taken me into the house, if Alfie hadn’t barged into the bathroom and stolen my bag, and if I hadn’t chased after him and happened to bump into James—butt naked—things might have been different. 

And of course, if James hadn’t offered me that outrageous proposal, giving me a contract to become his mistress in exchange for the two million dollars, and if I hadn’t agreed to it, I wouldn’t be living this life now. 

All in all, it seemed as though fate had led me straight to James, and God, I felt fortunate for everything that had happened—the good parts that was. The bad, horrible parts? I merely dismissed them from my mind and never thought about them again. 

I was finishing sipping my drink when James took me by the arm and nudged me up. Noticing that Aria was busy animatedly telling Savannah what she had bought today, Matt and William were busy talking about business, and of course, Andy was nowhere in sight, I got up from the seat and followed him. He probably wanted time alone with me. 

He led me out onto the balcony that had a great view of the city of Las Vegas. 

I inhaled the fresh air and sighed pleasantly. “Wow! It’s beautiful out here, isn’t it?” 

He nodded. 

I leaned against the rail as I gazed into the distance. Behind me, James hugged me, his chin resting against the side of my face. God, it was the most romantic thing ever, especially now that James was snuggling his nose against my nape like that. Then, of course, I couldn’t help myself, and I found myself turning my face to him. 

James kissed me on the lips softly, gently, and seductively. I felt my head spinning with delight. God, I couldn’t ever get enough of him kissing me and making love to me. I didn’t think I’d ever get tired of being with him. 

When he moved back and terminated the kiss, I felt a little dazed. 

“I love you,” I said softly. 

“I love you, too,” he replied, a smile on his face. “Oh, and I’ve got something for you.” 

He said it so nonchalantly, as if it were an afterthought, which amused me and of course made me wonder what it was he had gotten me. 

I watched him take a small box from the pocket of his trousers. He must have bought me a small piece of jewelry. The inscription on the top of that velvet box indicated so. 

When he opened the box, I sucked in my breath in unexpected surprise. I could only stare wide-eyed at the indeed small piece of jewelry sitting there in front of me. It was a ring with a huge white gem that glittered gloriously in the afternoon sun. 

“James!” I said breathlessly. “This…?” 

“Do you like it?” he asked. 

I mutely nodded. “Are you sure? You bought this for me?” God, I couldn’t believe it. 

“Yes,” he said. “Do you like it?” he asked again. 

I nodded furiously. “Yes! Yes, I do. Very much so, but—” 

“No buts,” he said, chuckling. “It’s an engagement ring.” 

Engagement ring? What? 

“James?” Oh God! My heart was pounding so hard in my chest that I thought it might pop out any moment now. 

He grinned cheekily. “I see I’ve neglected to ask you the proper question. Will you marry me, Mia?” 

I blinked. James was asking me to marry him? Oh my God! 

Suddenly, tears were brewing in my eyes. 

“So, darling,” James said. “Are you saying yes to the ring?” 

Oh God, I couldn’t speak. I nodded instead as tears flowed down my cheeks. 

“Good answer,” he said. 

I watched, dumbfounded, as James took the ring out and slid it onto my finger. 

I honestly couldn’t believe what was happening as I stared at the massive diamond ring. The precious, expensive gem glittered and shone, winking at me as if to tell me how awesome it was at surprising me. 

Yes, it had surprised me all right. But seriously, James had proposed to me, and I had said yes without even thinking about it. But honestly, what was there to think about? It was James, the man I loved. 

I felt tears flowing down my cheeks as I stared blindly at the diamond ring. Really, I just couldn’t believe James would want me to be his wife. I mean, we had only known one another for such a short time. First, he was proposing I be his mistress. Then I was his girlfriend, and now…? Now I was his fiancée, and very soon, so very soon, I’d be his wife. 

The thought made my throat tight with emotion as I raised my eyes to him. I saw his beautiful Prussian-blue eyes glinting with passion as he leaned his face toward me. 

“James,” I whispered softly. “I mean… Oh, I love you so much. I…” 

“Shh…” He made the sound as he secured the ring on my finger. 

James kissed me on the lips, and I sighed pleasantly. “I won’t let you let go, Mia,” he said. “I won’t let you out of my sight. I love you.” 

I nearly choked upon hearing his tender words. “I love you, too,” I said softly, and then we kissed passionately.

After I woke up I asked Nicole for how long I was asleep, she told me she never realized I was asleep. It was mean, because does that mean that I look so ugly everyday. I thought I looked cute or just like a normal human being. It's sad really. But the good thing is that it seems our teacher didn't notice, she probably thought I was just lying on my desk. 
"did you do the reading" she asks out of nowhere. 
"wait what, we had reading to do?!" om shocked I think I forgot about it completely. 
"oh my gosh I can't believe you forgot about it, she'll kill you if you can't answer the questions." she laughs a little as she pats my shoulders as if I were crying. 
"shit, and that's the thing I'm already failing those quizzes. Like at least with those quizzes I read some of it." I say sighing, I never really read any of the books she assigned. I would either read a summary of the chapter online or do nothing. 
"go listen to the audio book, I mean we have a period before class." she says, as she pulls out her headphones to hand me one. I receive before popping it in my ear. 
"Do you have, audible or are you going to use YouTube?"
"YouTube, I don't really use audiobooks that often so YouTube is enough. Listen to it during class." she says standing up from the stairs. 
"thanks Dana." I thank her as I follow her out the stairway and into the hall. I'm glad she reminded me of the book if not I would have forgotten about the test and reading.

Playing pretend, or building Fairy or Neopet houses out of leaves and twigs. Paper doll houses for hallow kitty, or Bree covering me up and stand at the park and me smiling.

Mom taking me out to sonic when I was feeling down, Mom kissing my forehead before heading to bed, Mom bringing in a tomato the shape of a parrot head from the garden, Mom reading a princess story, where I learned about honey lasting forever, just like love. Mom and I painting the laundry room while listening to the goose girl, getting me and audiobooks. Mom reading me mean jean the recess queen or the doll maker, his creations, puppies for sale, or the one about the prince. Mom humming the near tune from beauty and the beast. Mom hugging us and telling us, "you're my prisoner!"
Eating lunches in finding her note with, 'I love you,' or her hugging monster. Mom putting all that time and effort into birthdays or holidays to know that we were special and loved. I love you mom, I love you so much. Thank you for being my mom.

My name is Camille, and this is my story. I wish it were a happier one, though it's the truth. My life has and is a journey of finding my voice, standing up tall, and moving forward.

"We're here," Kazehaya Gin announced as he stopped the SUV in front of a huge gate.
Soon, the doorway moved as servants of the Cedar Palace opened it to let them in with smiles plastered on their faces. Yuuka looked out from the window, her eyes appreciative while her mouth hung open.
"You haven't been here before?" Gin inquired lightly her as he glanced at Yuuka from the rearview mirror, before stepping on the gas to drive the car further in the courtyard.
He asked because the Cedar Palace was not entirely closed to the public. There were times when the place opened for cultural events held at the outer buildings, and most times than not, businessmen and their brood clamored to have tickets to come. Coming at the Homura House in Tokyo was, after all, a status symbol, as not all the rich people could come in so easily.
Maki Yuuka shook her head. "I'm not interested or fond of cultural shows and activities," she answered. "I'm not such a masochist that I'd suffer through something I hate just to gain connections. My father won't force me to attend such things as well since he knew I'd probably mess up."
Chiaki and Alinea who were familiar with her no holds barred mouth let out a hearty chuckle.
"Your father's wise then," Alinea commented as they arrived at the inner court, and everyone started alighting the car.
"Woah, it really feels like you're in another era in here," Yuuka commented as she eyed the huge traditional mansion.
"Don't let it fool you. The place is equipped with discreetly placed modern appliances. It's more high-tech than some of the new houses," Alinea told her.
It was true. Aside from the appearance and true age of the house, the Cedar Palace was surprisingly modernized to cater to its residents' comfort. It's just the appliances such as the air-conditioning system and others were hidden in a faux traditional exterior to keep the aesthetics of the place.
"I see," Yuuka nodded as she followed the others.
She still had no idea why she was invited here but she didn't mind. Even if she's not really interested in cultural shows and activities, she loved visiting fascinating places, and Cedar Palace was at the top of the list of intriguing places.
"Here, miss," a servant told her as she placed a pair of slippers on the wooden floor of the balcony.
Yuuka thanked her as she slipped her shoes off and wore them. She let the servant take her shoes to the side and followed the others in the receiving room. Her grandma's house, although a lot smaller than the Cedar Palace, was also a traditional Japanese house, and so she was used to places like this one.  
"Yuuka, are you busy?" Gin asked as soon as they reached the receiving room and were all seated saved for Chiaki. The latter went to look for Aki and Kazehaya Sora.  
"Well, it's the weekend tomorrow," she answered with a slight frown. "I'm just usually at home, either playing video games or listening to books."
"Huh? You listen…to books?" Alinea was confused as she racked her brains how that was possible, making the others laugh except Yuuka.
The lady pouted, looking hurt. "Why do you seem surprised? I love audiobooks," she answered.
"Oh, audiobooks," Alinea nodded, finally understanding what she meant. She was someone who hated reading but loved listening to stories so she could relate. Back in Ritz, Alistair had tried to make her read many times but ended up reading to her instead.
"So it means you have nothing important to do then?" Gin prompted and Yuuka shrugged.
"Nothing that I can think of," she answered. "I just returned from New York, so I'm not really needed at work."
"How about vacation? Can you take a leave?"
Upon hearing that, Yuuka frowned. "Yes, I can. But why? Why are you asking me these things?"
Gin shifted on his seat, before clearing his throat. "Because you might need to take one – a semi-long one."
Yuuka inclined her head; caution reflected in her eyes. "Is this related to Suzuki Daizo and my father?" she asked softly.
"Yes." It was Ryuu who answered this time.
Yuuka inhaled sharply, her hands clenched on her lap as she bravely met the Koutaishidenka's eyes.
"Then why should I leave?" Yuuka's voice came out clear and even challenging that Alinea's eyes had a glimmer of admiration in them.
For normal people, even simply hearing Ryuu's name invoked fear. But now, faced with the man himself, even if it was obvious that Yuuka was afraid of the head of the Homura House, she didn't show any signs of it.   
"If something bad involves my father – good or bad, I want to be present," Yuuka stated. "I'm not saying I will side with him if he did or does something wrong, but if it's the case, I would like to try my best to at least reason with him. I am his only child, after all."
Alinea wanted to verbally agree with Yuuka. If it were her, she wouldn't want to leave her father as well. But she knew that beyond the surface, there was another set of reasons for this. Because if not, her uncle wouldn't bother dealing with it himself, much less her husband.   
"We understand," Gin nodded. "But we're afraid we cannot really let you intervene," he continued, eliciting another sharp intake of breath from Yuuka.
But before she could protest, Gin signaled for the servant who waited on the side to bring his laptop, and he placed it on the table. Everyone's eyes focused on the open screen where a video was playing.
Alinea was curious as well, and so she inched closer to Yuuka so she could see clearly. When she did, her eyes bulged, disbelief was written all over her face as she transferred her gaze from the screen towards her husband and uncle then back to the screen again to continue watching.
"What's this…"
Yuuka's voice trailed off as the screen showed a video of a girl standing next to a car where men that looked like thugs got out from. The girl was pretty but her eyes had a menacing look in them. There was no sound but they could clearly see what was happening.
The men left the girl, but then one of the men suddenly came flying and slammed against the windshield of the car, shattering the glass. The pretty girl was not even fazed. Instead, she looked enraged and more so when a pipe suddenly came flying her way, embedding itself against her shoulder and she screamed.
Everything looked normal in the sense that it was humanly possible and explainable, but the following events were not. Yuuka watched with her face turning horrified by the second as the girl screamed in agony while three dark heads with hollow faces came out of her screaming mouth.
They watched as the girl's body started convulsing as more of the black things tried to get out of her body but couldn't. In the end, the girl's flesh fused with the plethora of the shadows and they evolved into a spider-like demon.
"What is this? Is this a movie?" Yuuka asked weakly, as she tried to put a semblance of a smile of her face, but gave up when she saw that no one was smiling back. "What?"
"I'm afraid it's real."
It was Alinea who answered, and Yuuka turned to her as if she was insane. "This video is actually surveillance footage. That girl…" she said as she pointed at the girl who turned into a monster. "Her name's Okada Koharu, my ex-classmate."  


She was the Princess who had to die…

Ara elbowed Ryuu in the rib. "Darling, you are scaring the people away. Learn how to smile."

"Darling, if I smile, they will totally forget why they exist," Ryuu countered smugly, so Ara had no choice but to sigh in defeat. There's no sense making sense with this stubborn husky anyway.

Ara looked towards the nurse's station where nurses kept bumping into each other or hitting the tables and making things fall because they were busy giving Ryuu demure glances.

"See? They get distracted like that with me not smiling – what more if I do?"Ryuu told her with amusement in his voice. Then again, mischief danced in his blue gaze and he finally sent one bright smile the nurses' way.

Ara watched as chaos ensued in the station and she quickly pulled the naughty husky to the side and gave him a glare.

"What? Who told me to smile?" he asked her innocently.

"I did okay? It's my fault," Ara told him as she dragged him away.

Hello and welcome to Chapter 2! Now a few announcements. After the "Before Hogwarts" arc as I will refer to this I will be taking a break to plan out the first year. I will try to do 3 chapters a week but no guarantees. I have decided to dual host this on both Fanfiction and Webnovel. I am going to start listening to the Stephen Fry version of the audiobooks while reading the Bloomsbury Edition of the books. Now I am American, so I grew up on the Scolastic Edition and the Jim Dale audiobooks so this will be a new experience. By the way if you add up the length of the copies of the Stephen Fry version I got they are 5 days, 5 hours, 13 minutes, 18 seconds long.

"It's called Privet Drive, and it's not in London but Little Whinging and is south of London. When we get there you have to go to talk to a family called the Dursleys. They are raising a boy named Harry, who is the son of Petunia Dursley's late sister. Dumbledore figures that due to their hatred of the magical world they won't let the boy attend Hogwarts. It also seems they believe that by abusing and neglecting the boy he won't develop he magic," said Lupa.
"You can't be serious! These people are obviously morons and seem like the muggle version of those blood supremacists within the wizarding community. They probably believe that those who use magic are freaks and use violence to try to get rid of it."
"True they are bad, but unlike the blood supremacists they don't do anything like murder. They just beat and abuse this boy and ignore the fact that magic exists."
"Okay, so what's the plan? Want me to go over, knock on the door, then show my claws and fangs and threaten to rip their throats out if the don't let this Harry boy attend Hogwarts?"
"Hahaha! While I believe that would be the fastest way to do this you can't. Just go over, tell them the dangers of what they are doing, and the reason the boy needs to be trained. He is the same Harry that survived being attacked by Voldemort by the way."
"Ah. That puts them in a lot of danger. Lucius and the rest of those who bought their way out of being sent to Azkaban would love either kill him. As for these idiots, I'll tell them about obscurials and that he could develop into one if they make a wrong move. I'll also tell them how the lackeys of the man who killed the boys parents might come after them. But what should I tell them to convince them to let him continue living there?"
"Harry's mother used Sacrificial Protection on him when she died. As a result they are protected from being found as long as he is there. Dumbledore also set up wards to protect them, but without a magical person there to passively give them power regularly they will break after a year. As for obscurials, they only form when a person has a trauma related to magic, but they never told him about it and he never noticed so how could he become one?"

The next day, 2 Privet Drive
Ichigo and Lupa unloaded all their luggage. Luckily Dumbledore had arranged for their belongings to be unpacked for them and the home furnished before they arrived. Ichigo is looking out the window, watching as all the children head off to their last day of school before summer break. He watches in shock as an extremely fat kid causes the bus to visibly lower just by getting on it. The fatty was followed by a very scrawny boy with taped up glasses.
"So that's Harry, huh. The fatass must be his cousin. Now I better head over before Vernon leaves for work."
Ichigo heads over and knocks on the door of 4 Privet Drive and a fat man with a stern face and a briefcase opens it.
"What do you need? I don't have money for beggars."
"I'm not a beggar Vernon Dursley. I was sent here to speak to you and that wife of yours about your nephew, Harry Potter," Ichigo says letting his eyes glow.
Vernon becomes scared from the glowing eyes and falls backwards.
"Your going to want to call in sick today Vernon. Now call Petunia over. I have no idea how she didn't notice the minor earthquake you just cause by falling," Ichigo says while walking into the house.
"GET OUT! Get out right now! We want nothing to do with your kind!"
"Vernon, what's going on!"
A blond woman with an unnaturally long neck comes out to see what's happening. But she shrieks when she sees the boy with glowing eyes.
"Why hello there, Petunia. We need to talk. Well I will be doing most of the talking, and unless you want your tongues removed you will listen without interupting. Now let's sit down while Vernon calls in sick."
Ichigo makes his way to the living room while ignoring the couple. The couple decides that it would be best to listen after hearing the threat.
"So here's the deal, I just moved in next door and will be watching you. On July 1 Harry will receive his acceptance letter from Hogwarts and you will let him attend. Now I know you don't want to let him, but this is for your safety as much as it is his. You see if you don't let him go he won't be able to control his magic. Now, unlike what you believe, magic becomes stronger over time and the speed at which the power grows at the fastest rate is between the ages of eleven and eighteen. If he doesn't go then by the time he is thirteen he will turn into an obscurial. If that happens, you and your son will die."
He stops to let that sink in, watching as their faces pale.
"But that's not the only risk. The man that killed Harry's parents had followers. These same followers want to kill Harry but can't. The reason for they can't is because of the wards Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts, put up on your house as well as the protection Lily put on Harry when she died. The wards will only work if a witch or wizard live here since they need magic to power them. Without Harry they would break after a year. Also Lily's protection extends to both Petunia and Dudley until Harry's seventeenth birthday as they are his blood relatives. As for you Vernon, your screwed.
"Now, when they get home you will let Harry move into the third bedroom, the one where you have Dudley keep what he doesn't use anymore. You will also start to treat him right. Get him some new clothes, glasses, and lessen the chore load you have on him and give some to Dudley and do some yourself. I will be checking on him. I will come by in mid-July to take Harry to get his school supplies and again to take him to the train to school on August 1. Now if you don't do what I say… Oops almost forgot that I'm not allowed to threaten unless necessary. Now nod if you understand."
They start nodding so fast that it looks like they're trying to shake their heads off.
"Okay then I will be going. Oh and don't try to run away. We wizards are capable of easily tracking where Harry is with great detail."
Ichigo gets up and leave the terrified couple to their own thoughts.

I suck at summaries so bear with me. The MC is one of the last lycans (read the Premise and Info chapter and chapter zero for more details on that). He was enrolled at Hogwart's and now has to survive being in the same year as Harry Potter and his growing werewolf abilities.

Tripp was standing still, breathing heavily....
I can see!!!
Being in utter darkness, he just thought he was still blind, but there was a light shining right in front of him right now. 
"Haha, now I know I'm definitely dead' he said, laughing nervously at his situation.
If he was dead and this was a new world, he was happy, but he couldn't help and feel sad at his unavenged death.
He remembered lying there in the cold basement where his own parents had left him. He remembered how his sister would bring her friends down there to see the "freak" they hid in the basement. They would come in and have a look at the starved blind cripple or hide around the room before throwing things at him. 
One particular birthday, his sister came with her friends, and this time she brought some extremely extravagant food. He remembered how fragrant the food was, and he was drooling.. then she put the food in the hallway furthers away from his room and told him to crawl. 
He made his way until he could feel the heat coming from the plate, and when he was soo close to finally tasting the food, she and her friends laughed as they took the food away and went to feed it to the pets.
slapping his cheeks hard, he snapped himself out of his memories
"It doesn't matter anymore. None of that matters; I just need to keep going and live free from any restraints." he smiled as he started at the source of the light.
"Not sure if I should follow it? Nothing good ever comes out of following the random light, at least not in any of the audiobooks I listened to, but on the other hand, what choice do I have? I can't remain in this darkness forever." steeling his nerves, he slowly walked up to it.
It was a thin gold thread that was part of the flooring, shining brightly in the darkness.
He followed the gold thread for a while before it multiplied, and there were two more, and soon, it increased again. This time it wasn't only on the floor but on the high ceiling.
"This better be leading me out of here or to where I meet a crowd standing waiting to receive their new powers", laughing excitedly as he started jogging. 
The darkness seemed to be slowly defusing as the golden threads continued to multiply; soon, the golden threads had taken over, and very few dark purple ones could be seen on the floor.
He kept following the bright threads excitedly as this was the only change in this eternal darkness that he had been in for months.
He was no longer in the open space but was now in a long hallway covered top to bottom with gold and purple threads.
As he turned back, all he could see was the darkness he had left further back. It now looked like a giant purple dome. 
"Was that where I was?"
"had I walked that far."
It wasn't black but purple? Or purple to black,
"No time to waste, can't be late, or I will end up with the worst abilities. Let's see where this goes," he said as he turned forward and kept walking...

The purple threads remained intertwined with the gold when gradually, a light blue one was introduced to the now bright gold floor.
"A third thread," he said as he crouched to get a better look
"It looks exactly like the first one, except for the colour."
The blue thread pulsed the same way as the others.
"Not sure what all this means, but it's better than running around in the  darkroom." 
The hallways kept going, and the further he went, the brighter the threads got, and they even pulsed more.
At the end of the hallway, a door appeared. Tripp had finally reached the end of the beginning of his new life, or so he thought.
"Yes!!!" Tripp shouted out excitedly.
"The door to my new world!! I couldn't care about what ability I get or what world I get sent to, as long as my body works and I can enjoy my freedom!!"
Tripp was breathing heavily. After living the life he had, anything would be better. He wouldn't mind being poor, and he wouldn't even mind doing hard labour. He just wanted his freedom more than anything.
He picked up his pace as his eyes were now fixed on the door in front of him. He hadn't noticed that the threads started changing colour, slowly going darker and darker.
He was now almost halfway through the hallway when his senses told him something wasn't right.
Tripp looked down, only to find the threads were moving towards a particular spot.
He followed the colourful threads with his eyes, only to see something rise from the spot they had all converged.
The different colour threads seemed to intertwine as they raised from the ground, going higher and higher until they slowly started forming a shape.

"What the hell is going on now?" he said in shock. 
The shape was slowly turning into the form of a person.
The person was purple, entirely purple, With long hair that touched the ground. 
Tripp froze.....
The purple person was facing the other way, so all he could see was his back. 
"I should probably run away, but if I go back towards the darkness, I will probably die." he thought to himself.
"Maybe this is a test. If I can get past him and get through the door, I will be safe?" 
Before he could make a decision, the purple person turned and looked at him. 
Tripp's jaw dropped 
The person staring at him had purple eyes that shown with bright gold, blue and silver colours. It looked like he had a galaxy in his eyes.
The purple person started sauntering towards him.
Tripp tried taking a step backwards, but he couldn't. He looked down only to realise his feet were covered with the purple threads, and they were snaking their way up his legs.
"Shit!! I need to get out of this; I cannot fail here."
Tripp looked up only to see the shinney purple eyes less than 10 inches away from his face. The purple person stood right in front of him, looking at him with a weird twisted smile.
Tripp threw a punch without thinking, but his hand struck something mid-air. A purple outline of an arm seemed to come into existence. He was shocked and looked back at the person in front of him who was still laughing. Soon three more arms seemed to appear behind him.
"F**k!! What is this?"
"8 arms? is this person human?"
The figure grabbed onto him with all arms, as the threads were now coming from the eight hands and wrapping up his face and mouth.
"Mmmmm"
"Mmmmmm" Tripp tried his best shouting, but his face was now completely wrapped with purple threads, making him look like a neon mummy on Halloween and the only sound he could make came out muffled.
The weird threads seemed to increase in speed as they covered his entire body.
"Is this it?"
"Have I failed? Am I going to be reincarnated as a spider, a snail...
his thoughts were running wild while he lay still in his purple cacoon.
Time went by slowly, and his energy was gradually being depleted as he found himself falling asleep.
Tripp woke up to find himself in the familiar darkness, but this time it was different. There was a statue of the same person he had met earlier.
It was dark, but he could see it clearly as eight balls of light inlaid in the statue were shining brightly, covering it with different hues of light.
"This is getting super weird?"
"Who was that? and where the hell am I now?"
"Am I dead, and this is Limbo? were the gods give me new powers and sent me off on an adventure as they did in the audiobooks I used to listen to?"
He didn't bother thinking too much and slowly walked up to the shining statue.
The person stood with six arms coming out from his back, each holding a sphere of light. The topmost arm on the right was holding a globe that had a fire burning brightly in it.
The hand on the left had one that had a storm of lightning.
His standard two arms were held up to his chest open flat, holding two different orbs. The right arm held a shining purple sphere, and it looked like it had a whole galaxy circling in it.
"Do these spheres of light have something to do with the threads I saw earlier?"

With nothing else left to do, he decided to take the risk. 
"Guess there is no Otherworldly guide here."
He stretched out his arm to touch the purple sphere when his vision turned white, and he felt himself falling.

it was a sunny morning in my quarantined and locked hometown of beach boro. I had woken up, had my food, got on my pc, and started my stretches. I had just finished watching Starset's new music video for the new single titled trials reimagined that had just been on youtube since I know that divisions 2.0 is coming and I am also aware that they are milking the 10th track of there 3rd album for some reason since it has something to do with the song being an anthem for the rebels in the Starset lore of the story and it could be the theme for the people who are surviving this COVID crisis as we speak.
turning on my tv I had started watching the news just to see what is going on in our world. and from the look of the state America is in now. a black lives matter uprising is still going ever since the incidents were now set in motion because of the one incident that caused a violent cry out for justice in that area.
more this world changes. the more fucked we truly are in this world as we see the truth in front of our eyes. and from what I heard on the news when I watched tv. it is scary that this virus will stay around for long and will not stop until we are all dead.
as for me. well, I am still at home. witch is what I call a cage now. sitting on my chair I put on a 24/7 CreepyPasta stream for Quarantine at the End of the World. and yes this stream does change as I watch and sleep to it as well since I am a fan of spooks and love having inspirations for writing stories in any site I am putting the story's on. and if you do not know what a 24/7 CreepyPasta stream is. well... it is where you hear your fave story's on the stream while you relax and sleep. and if you are still confused. there here is the description of the CreepyPasta stream.
