By the time Qiao Dongliang snatched the novel from Qiao Zijin, only then did she realize that someone had entered her room. 
Qiao Zijin flushed with embarrassment and said to Ding Jiayi, "Mom, why did you enter my room without knocking!" 
"What kind of nonsense novel are you reading!" Qiao Zijin had stopped at a page where there was some saucy material. Qiao Dongliang took a few glances and was exasperated. "Did you coop yourself up in your room to read this kind of novel?" 
Giving Qiao Zijin no time to react, Qiao Dongliang spread his two hands and tore up the novel. "You refuse to let Nan Nan study, and yet you have spare money to buy this for Zijin. Old Ding, let me ask you, do we have money or not?" 
Qiao Dongliang saw that the novel was not cheap, and there was the elder daughter's name on the book. It was undoubtedly hers. 
"I… I…" Ding Jiayi was dumbfounded. Old Qiao wanted his daughters to be well-educated and to have a promising future, so as to make up for his regret of being discharged from the army. This was the first time that she had seen Old Qiao tear up their daughter's books. 
"I didn't." Ding Jiayi hurried to explain. "I didn't give Zijin money and I never knew that she bought books recently." 
Ding Jiayi felt that she had been treated unjustly. She had saved and scrimped at home and kept tight control on the meat and fish dishes at home in order to save some money to pull strings for Zijin. 
She would never give Zijin extra money to buy these kind of novels. 
Ding Jiayi had no idea what the novel was about. But judging from Qiao Dongliang's reaction, when he only took a glance and tore it into pieces, intuition told her that there was nothing great about the book. 
Out of curiosity, Qiao Nan picked up the book on the floor, and flipped to the last page.
She has been sisters with Qiao Zijin for two lives. She knew all the small habits that Qiao Zijin had.
As expected, when Qiao Nan flipped to the last page, she saw some dates written on it. It dated back to more than half a year ago, around New Year last year. 
Looking at the pages, there weren't brand new. It meant that Qiao Zijin bought it more than half a year ago, and she had finished reading some time ago. 
Qiao Nan calculated the dates, and realized that it had been during the most crucial part of the year where Qiao Zijin was sitting for her middle school examination. Qiao Zijin had spare money, yet she did not spend it on revision books, but wasted it on this kind of novel. No wonder Qiao Zijin had not been doing well in her exams, and that she only barely managed to make it to high school. 
Qiao Dongliang used to serve in the army, he was more insightful than others. 
Just one glance at Qiao Nan's flipping actions and he knew what was going on. There was no need for Qiao Nan to say a word. 
Qiao Zijin was sitting for her crucial middle school examination at that time, and yet she had the time to read novels. Thinking back on her results, Qiao Dongliang felt extremely disappointed. 
Ever since he had been discharged from the army, he had pinned his hopes on his two daughters, hoping that they would have good prospects, and that was why he let them enrol in school. 
He thought she was not as gifted but had tried her best, thus with the adequate results that she had, he had not scolded her at all for two whole months. 
But now Qiao Dongliang knew the truth. Qiao Zijin did not put any effort into her studies at all. 
"No wonder your results are less than satisfactory; this is where you have channeled your attention to." Qiao Dongliang was puzzled, at such a young age, how did Qiao Zijin know about these romance novels?
Thinking back on the near seventeen years that he had spent bringing up his elder daughter, she had never shed a tear for her Dad. Yet she had cried her guts out for that book. Qiao Dongliang felt awful. 
But he could not take it out on his daughter, so he ranted at Ding Jiayi. "She was preparing for her middle school examination and yet she was reading this sort of immoral book. How could she possibly get good results?! Zijin's heart was not set on studying and you forced her to study. On the other hand, Nan Nan had been performing well all along, yet you wanted her to quit school. What do you mean by that?!" 
Qiao Dongliang grabbed the book from Qiao Nan and threw it into Ding Jiayi's face. 
Her face was not hurt, but her pride did. However Ding Jiayi could not rebut a word now. "Zijin, why did you…" 
Why did she have to fumble the ball at such a juncture?
Ding Jiayi never imagined that her elder daughter would be reading novels instead of revising in such a crucial half-year period. 
On the other hand, even though Qiao Nan wanted to study at home, Ding Jiayi would always order her around, asking her to run errands and to clean up the house. 
Qiao Zijin still had a buzzing sound in her ears. She was totally baffled, scared out of her wits. 
Whenever Qiao Zijin was reading, no-one in the house would disturb her. 
In particular today, she made it a point to tell Ding Jiayi that she was going to study. As always, Ding Jiayi would not let anyone disturb her or go into her room. 
Because there was Ding Jiayi around, Qiao Zijin read her novel without a care. 
The story had reached a climax, Qiao Zijin was totally absorbed in the plot, sobbing terribly for the couple who were forced to stay apart by the wife of the male lead. Yet all of a sudden there were three people in her room. 
As for the revision that Qiao Zijin was saying, the content of this book had no relation whatsoever to her junior high studies. 
"No, no, Dad, you… you are mistaken, this book… I, I only read it after exams were over, not, not before that…" 
Qiao Zijin stuttered and could not utter a proper sentence. But everyone could tell that she was trying to make excuses for herself. 
Ding Jiayi came to her senses and went to Qiao Zijin's rescue. "Old Qiao, you heard it, though Zijin bought the book way before exams, she only read it recently. How she fared in middle school examination had nothing to do with this book. Zijin was so sensible, she would not do things like that." 
"Never read before, does this look like a new book?" 
"Dad, I never read it, but I lent it to my classmate!" 
"Who did you lend it to?" 
"I have lent it to Wang Hua from the next class." But Wang Hua has moved house four months ago. She did not even sit the middle school examination. Her Dad would not be able to find her.
"The one who moved, sister, since when are you on such close terms with the classmates from the next class?" Qiao Nan laughed. Qiao Zijin might be able to convince their mother, but definitely not Dad. 
This was obviously Qiao Zijin's intention. Wang Hua had moved house and Dad had no way of verifying with her. 
"You shut up!" Ding Jiayi shouted at Qiao Nan. "At this juncture,you are still adding fuel to the fire, Qiao Nan, what ill intentions are you harboring, if you do not know how to speak, just keep your mouth shut!" 
Ding Jiayi was startled by Qiao Dongliang's darkened face. 
"Dad, I have to enroll for school the day after tomorrow. Where are my school fees?" Qiao Nan tried changing the topic, the date for enrollment was just a few days away, would she be able to get her school fees? "Dad, I have used up all my pens and exercise books." 
Qiao Dongliang let out a deep breath, "Give twenty yuan to Nan Nan." 


Qiao Nan: Crap! I am your biological daughter, yet I am treated as if I was picked up from the streets. In fact, you treat me worse than that!

Mother Qiao: Qiao Nan, you are not as pretty or smart as your elder sister. You are not as blessed as her. You have no right to study, marry, or to have your happiness!

Qiao Nan: Why am I not allowed to study, marry, or to seek my happiness? I will find a man right now and marry him!

Qiao Nan is dumbstruck upon discovering that the man right beside her is a powerful figure in the quad—the person who has the most promising prospects to be the future Chief.

Qiao Nan stares at the well-built man in front of her. He has firm abs and cold, chilling eyes. She swallows the lump in her throat as she says her greetings, "Good Morning, Chief!"

I sat on my bed and began reading "today was the day I for the first time saw him. he had just joined as a teacher here and I couldn't wait to see how he would teach in class."
miss jas's diary had less writing in each page and in a lot of dates she didn't write. I turned to the next page to continue reading
"even though today was the start of summer al lot of students were still wearing warm jackets and coats to school. I saw him once again but today he had a little girl with him and I can't stop wondering if it is his daughter". 
"days have passed and seeing him with the girl has become more frequent I wonder what their relationship is".
I turned the page "I was too curious that I checked her records and found out something I shouldn't have. now I feel nervous around him".
"it's been almost two weeks and today was the day he finally found out that she was killed by the principal and the other teachers because she came inbetween their plans but thanks to her I found out about their plans and I know this won't end here."
I checked for the date when this was written and found out that it was written 10 years ago. and I also understand that the girl must be luna and the other teacher must be the killer. what did miss jas find out about luna? what was the principal's and the  teachers plan? why did all the incidents take place before 10 years? why is he talking revenge after 10 years? the more I read I get more questions than answers. as I was about to continue reading I heard the door bell ring so I hid the book and rushed to the door. (WHY DO I KEEP GETTING DISTURBED WHEN I AM READING THIS BOOK!!!) I saw through the spyhole but I couldn't see anyone so I slowly opened the door and saw a punch aiming my face...

The School of the Afterlife had changed; those hiding in the dark had surfaced as if sensing that their chance had arrived.
"Mr. Bai, do you mind if I ask you a question? The woman who left her presence on you, has she told you anything?" Zhou Tu's face was the color of chalk. He needed to rest with every sentence.
"I do not even know Chang Wenyu; I have no idea how she left her presence on me." Chen Ge did not wish to continue this conversation and rushed toward the library.
"So, you wish to keep it a secret?" Zhang Ju carried Zhou Tu, whose body was disappearing. He probably would not hold on until they reached the library.
"I can't control how you think…" Chen Ge ignored him and continued on his way. After taking several steps, he suddenly frowned. He really did not know Chang Wenyu. He was not trying to hide anything from the others, but Zhou Tu made it sound like Chen Ge had a secret to hide. Zhou Tu had been revealing information to Chen Ge. This was his first question, and the question was related to Chang Wenyu. This might have appeared normal to others, and Chen Ge did not mind it that much initially, but the more he thought about it, the stranger he felt.
Coincidence on top of coincidence, forming an accident. Looking at the whole process, it might appear like there's no problem, but something feels off, Chen Ge thought to himself. There are still many secrets surrounding Zhou Tu, but based on his condition, it doesn't look like he has the time to touch on those things.
The painter was entity who had harmed Zhou Tu, so if he hated the painter that much, he would try his best to tell them everything about the painter and not waste time asking questions. Perhaps this was really just a coincidence, but Chen Ge could not shake his mind off it. The library was close to the lab. Chen Ge's group arrived there without any incidents. They followed the trail and reached the entrance.
"I've been to this place before; the door is always locked. We'll need to jump through the window or use the side door if we wish to gain entry. Damn it, I am reminded of that bad memory again." Zhang Ju had a bad impression of Chang Wenyu. After all, it was Chang Wenyu who had betrayed him and shattered his only hope. With Zhang Ju leading the way, the group easily cracked open the side door and entered the library. The library on the eastern campus looked dated. The building felt more like a decoration. Students and staff rarely visited this place.
"It feels like a lot of time has passed, but nothing has changed here. It feels just like yesterday when she gouged my left eye out." Zhang Ju walked in front. By now, his jacket was already completely red. "I've walked down this path with her before. Technically speaking, she was my first love, and this is where we had our dates."
With a bitter smile on his face, Zhang Ju's fingers caressed the bookshelves that they passed. "Why would one pick a library at midnight to have their dates? I should have known it then. She never did like me; she was merely using me."
"That might not be a hundred percent true. The date's location doesn't necessarily mean anything." Chen Ge walked beside Zhang Ju at the front. "I've been in your shoes before. I've dated at an abandoned school, a mental asylum, and an underground morgue. Until now, she still loves me deeply."
"Is your date also Chang Wenyu?" There was a question in Zhou Tu's eyes. His eyes moved between Chen Ge and Zhang Ju. "Other than her, I can't imagine anyone else going to places like that to have their dates."
Everything was going fine, but with this observation from Zhou Tu, Zhang Ju stopped moving. He looked Chen Ge up and down and then shook his head. "That's impossible. That woman doesn't have the power and capability to love. She's a monster."
Annoyed, Zhang Ju walked ahead on his own. The library at midnight was very quiet, and the only sound was their heartbeats and footsteps. The whole building was sealed. The doors and windows were barred, but there was no strange smell, which was different from the other places that they had visited.
"By walking past this shelf, climbing to the top, and stepping on the fence next to it, we can reach the second floor without using the stairs." Zhang Ju remembered what had happened that night so clearly. Not one detail escaped his mind—everything was forever seared in his brain.
Zhu Long felt like Zhang Ju was in a bad mood, and he asked in a polite tone, "Why can't we use the stairs?"
"I asked her the same question. She said that a steel door was installed on the staircase, and the door is blocked with trash; there is no way we can get up the stairs that way." Zhang Ju was the first to climb up the racks. "I never doubted her words, so I didn't go up the stairwell. Shall we go and check it this time?"
"Let's find the mirror first." Chen Ge did not want to attract unnecessary attention. The group followed Zhang Ju's instructions and reached the second floor of the library. They only took several steps when they heard footsteps coming from the end of the second-floor corridor.
"That's familiar. I also heard footsteps when I came last time. Back then, Chang Wenyu told me a ghost story about the spirit in the library, and it gave me quite a scare. Now that I think about it, the footsteps should belong to the librarian." Zhang Ju signaled for the others to stay behind him. "Stick close and don't fall off. Follow my orders and try to avoid conflict with the other party."
"What should we do? The sound is getting close!"
"See the door to the second reading room?" Zhang Ju pointed at a door not far away. "From now on, close your eyes and walk that way. No matter what you touch or hear, do not open your eyes until we're through the door."
"Will that work? How's that different from lying to ourselves?"
"Just listen to him. The librarian is a member of the art club members. He will paint everyone who sees him into his painting." Zhou Tu was the first to close his eyes, and the rest followed suit. The last to close his eyes was Chen Ge. He listened to the approaching footsteps, signaled to his shadow, and then closed his eyes.
The footsteps came closer and closer. Chen Ge's group searched their way along the wall with their hands. It felt like they would run into someone anytime soon. The footsteps got closer. The person did not seem to notice Zhang Ju and Zhou Tu, keeping up his speed, but when he passed Chen Ge, the sound of footsteps suddenly disappeared.
Has it stopped next to me? Chen Ge did not open his eyes. He kept his hands on the wall and moved forward. Several seconds later, the footsteps continued toward the end of the corridor. Opening the door of the second reading room, Chen Ge sucked in a deep breath.
"I experienced all we've experienced earlier that night; this is such a déjà vu feeling." Zhang Ju closed the door after everyone got into the reading room. "If there's nothing wrong, the mirror should be hidden behind the last row of bookshelf."
The truth was about to be revealed, but before Chen Ge could approach, a familiar figure walked out from the last row of shelves.
"I knew you'd find your way here eventually." The figure was holding a large, tattered backpack. His head was lowered, and he was stooped like a hunchback.


The hearse with the weird odor slowed to a stop before the entrance. The sound of pebbles could be heard bouncing on the ceiling. There were footsteps coming from the corridor, and there seemed to be someone sawing next door. The door knob to the room rattled slightly, and the faucet in the bathroom kept dripping even though it had been screwed shut. There was a rubber ball that rolled on its own underneath the bed. Wet footsteps started to surface one after another on the floor. 
At 3 am, Chen Ge held a cleaver in his hand as he hid beside the room heater. The call he was trying to make was finally answered. "Landlord, is this what you meant by 'the house can be a little crowded at night'‽"

"He said, 'If you really want to thank me, please don't take some books with you when you go home. You always beat me into reading first the books that I wanted to read'. He was so silly when he said that. And I was shocked that he too read the same books that I read" laughed Karen a bit then sipped from her cup and pick which snack to eat.
"After that day, we would always see each other everyday in the library. Then we started to read together in the same table. Once I finished reading I would pass it to him and he also did the same. As time goes by, we got to know each other. He too dreamt of becoming a doctor. We developed feelings towards one another. After a few months, he asked me out and I said yes" Karen smiled and missed the boy.
"As a couple, we would read books together. We would secretly go to museums. We would sneak out to see each other and go to our dates. He took me to a lot of places. We helped each other in our studies at school. We did our homeworks and reviewing for exams together. We planned our life ahead together. We would go together to the best university for doctors. We would get our training in the same hospital together. Then we will apply to work at the same hospital. We were so happy then. That was until that day came" her brows scrunched up and her eyes became watery as she recalled what happened.
"My parents loved each other dearly. They're inseparable. Every morning during breakfast their voices from teasing each other and laughter will wake me up. My father was a very funny person and that was what made my mother fall in love with him. They would always tell me their love story. It even came to the point that I memorized it word by word. Back then my family was really happy. When there's a competition or activities in school, even if I don't tell them, they'll both be there to cheer me up. My father was really embarrassing, he would shout, 'That's my daughter!', but eventually I got used to it. Even now, I still hear his voice. They knew of my dream and supported me unconditionally. I've always wanted for my future family to be like my family" Karen begun to cry and Violet handed her tissues as she pats her back.
"It all came tumbling down when father died suddenly. My father got into an car accident and everyone involved in it was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. It wasn't his fault and yet the perpetrator got killed too so there's no one to blame. My mother grieved for my father. She was even mentally and emotionally unstable because of the lost of my father. I would have done the same but seeing my mother so weak, I steeled myself to be stronger for the both of us" Karen downed cups of liquor.

What happens when two unlikely people met each other for the first time? They get married! That's right, they definitely did. They were akin to two parallel lines that weren't supposed to intersect or touch at any given  point in time. But in that fateful moment that they did meet, they were thrust into the world of whirlwind romance.

A handsome, thoughtful and cold-heated man, King Margaux Hendrix, who spent most of his years in unrequited love accidentally met a beautiful, introverted and forlorn woman, Violet Hailey Quinn, who was betrayed by her long time and long distance boyfriend. Two people that when put together were comparable to a dog and a cat. They changed the trajectories of their lives in one moment. Never be the same again.
 
Together, they tread and explored the waters of love, the unknown and uncertainty. Through twists and turns, they gradually fell in love as their adventure called marriage, unfolds. Their encounter created a butterfly effect that seeped into other people's lives and set off chains of events with the resounding click like that of a falling domino.

Violet: "What sort of? Damn it! We have no choice!!! You wrote us!" 

YoureMySun: "Y-you!!!!! You can't be here! Stop crossing dimensions! You're ruining my synopsis for your story!" 

King: "Can you change the female lead? Someone who's more beautiful and cultured?" 

Violet: "Bastardddddd!! You're dead!!!" 

YoureMySun: "Cut it King! You're not supposed to be here too! Stop agitating Violet, ok?" 

King: "Hahahahaha me? stop? Dream on! I'll annoy the heck out of this woman. Even if it's the last thing I do! Gyahahaha" *evil laugh

Violet: *pulls out bat from somewhere then charged at King

YoureMySun: "Oh my God!!! V where the heck did you even get that! Stop right there!" 

King: "W-woman! I-i know how much you love me so don't you dare hit my face!" 

Violet: "Me love you? You of all people? Only an idiot will fall for you" *said through gnashing her teeth

King: "You're the idiot that fell for me, you know? G-get away from me barbarian!" 

YoureMySun: "You guys left me with no choice" 

*Our dearest author left with no choice, pulls out the magical keypad as she wrote,

YoureMySun: "As Violet was gunning for King, she tripped and fell in his embrace. And end up kissing each other. Then a good samaritan from the story's dimension accidentally throws a rope through the worm hole while trying to catch the running horse. The two got tied in the same position. The samaritan pulled and was shocked to see two people instead of the horse. He blinked then they disappeared, and wondered if he gone crazy. The two was transported to their love nest stuck in that position for the whole day. Until Violet had enough being taken advantage of by King. She ripped the rope and starts bashing King with a pillow. While King's laughters and ouchies reverberates throughout the house. And they lived happily ever after"

YoureMySun: "Finally got some peace and quiet. Sighhh... I apologize dearest readers. It's been too lively?" 

"Where was I? Going back" 

They fell in love through twists and turns. Violet, a beautiful, charming, quiet, and a kind girl unexpectedly met King, a handsome, rich, playful and iceberg-man. 

"She's really kind and quiet you know, believe me. It's just that, King happened"

I just wanted to say that this Light Novel will be getting a complete reboot. It will be rewritten and put on display to read in the future. A date hasn't been confirmed yet but it will be soon.

I haven't given up on it, it just I had exams and school to deal with. I have been writing this Light Novel for while now, I just haven't put them up yet. So I hope you guys stick around when the time comes. :) Happy Reading

This is a story centered around a man named Luke who was coming from watching the New Dragonball Super Broly Movie. Sadly, Luke gets into a car accident, ending his life. Luke will be given a second chance of his choosing, meaning he can choose which world to reincarnate in. Anyone can probably guess what he will pick. He asked to be Goku and Raditz's brother but the one in between, so he is the middle brother now. Watch as Kayn(Luke) Rises to power against all the villains that invade the earth with the help of all the Z fighters and some extras who should have died in the main series or non-canon series.

Esmee wrote in her notebook on Sunday morning.

"Yesterday during breakfast, Miss Kettingen brought up the topic of love to distract us from thinking about the deceased."

"Everyone shared a bit of their love lives."

"Mrs. Zomerland spoke about her husband, and Mashika, Milandu, Arend and Annet spoke about their romantic relationships."

"That's when Miss Kettingen addressed Kashala, Chisa and me."

"She was suspecting either me or/and Chisa to like Kashala, or him liking one of us."

"That's when I came out with my love for Kashala."

"Nobody saw it coming, not even Kashala expected it."

"Chisa insisted that he saw Kashala as nothing more than family, so you'd think that things are in my favor."

"But of course, she was being insincere."

"And Kashala does like her too."

"So I got my heart broken."

"But I don't feel depressed."

"Sure I'm saddened by the fact that Kashala won't be my lover, but he'll still be by my side forever."

"And that's why I'm not depressed…" 

Esmee was the last one to enter the dormitory hall.

Kashala and Chisa looked worried upon seeing her.

"Esmee… I'm so sorry." She said. "I constantly gave you the wrong impression about my feelings for Kashala because I referred to him as family. So you probably thought that no one would stand in your way in pursuing the love you have for him. It was selfish of me, so I apologize." 

"No it's okay!" She said. "It was kinda obvious to me that you liked Kashala, after you complained about him sleeping with me on the same bed and insisted to sleep right next to him too."

"Can we still be friends?"

All students were in the school cafeteria and took breakfast with the teachers. 

"It's too quiet again." Miss Kettingen said. 

"At least they don't look depressed anymore." Mrs. Zomerland said.

"Sure their condition improved, but they should make some noise to keep their hearts alive." She said. "Let's see… Right! Why don't you all introduce yourselves to each other!"

"Huh?" Esmee was confused by her suggestion.

"But we already know each other." Mashika said.

"Do you really? Let's test it out then!" She said. "Mashika, what's Annet's favorite dish?"

"Ugh, I don't know."

"See!"

"It's cupcakes." Annet said.

"Oh, okay."

"Don't stop there Annet! Share more about yourself."

"Um, so my favorite hobbies are reading books, novels, manga and manhwa. I like martial arts, studying and I watch anime and reality series too."

"Now it's your turn to share stuff about yourself, Mashika."

Mashika clicked her tongue and said: "Favorite dish: none. Though I like eating candy and anything sweet. Hobbies: going out with friends, watching reality series and anime. I do read manga and manhwa too. Milandu, share something about yourself."

"I like pizza. My hobbies are engaging in martial arts, watching anime and reading manga. I play video games from time to time too." He said. "Hey, Arend."

"I don't really have a favorite dish in particular either. Though I'm a vegan and I adore vegetables and fruits. Watermelon is my favorite." He said. "My hobbies are also engaging in martial arts, reading books and manga. Studying, watching anime and documentaries. Would you like to tell us a thing or two about yourself, Kashala?" 

"I don't have a favorite dish in particular either. Though I like eating nuts, peanuts, you name it. I also like eating dates." He said. "My hobbies are engaging in my military exercises and receiving training. Honing my skills and acquiring new ones. I like reading books, novels, manga and manhwa. I watch anime and documentaries, and I'm into history. Esmee, what about you?"

"My favorite meal is curry. My hobbies are studying, listening to lo-fi or chillstep, ambient music. I like reading books and I read manga and manhwa. I watch anime too." She said. "And what about you Chisa?"

"My favorite dish is tempura. For those who don't know, tempura is a Japanese dish of battered and fried fish, seafood, or vegetables." She said. "I like spending time with Kashala and the activities he likes to engage in, mainly his military exercises and training. I read manga and manhwa, and I watch anime and I listen to lo-fi, hip-hop music and J-pop too. Fleur, tell us something about yourself."

"Oh, sure." She said. "I like my job, I like reading books, cooking, watching reality series and movies, and to watch Kashala grow. I really like eating pizza too. What about you, Amanda?" 

"I like eating lasagna. I like reading books, cycling... and I'm into gaming and anime as well." She said, which surprised everyone and made them laugh.

"What a surprise!" Annet said. 

"You're amazing Miss Kettingen!" Chisa said. 

Miss Kettingen felt embarrassed but understood why everyone was laughing, because it isn't something you'd expect from a teacher, let alone a female teacher.

I could see that she felt bad for saying something rude to me, because knowing my circumstances, these words may hurt my feelings. She is a nice girl with a kind heart.
"Nothing to ask forgiveness for." I smiled at her.
"I..."
"I know you said it without bad intentions, so no need to worry about it! Anyway, how do you feel about school so far."
She visibly relaxed after my words and we started talking about school and she told me interesting things she read. I, being an old wise man, was smart enough to be a good listener, so I got a huge ton of information for free. 
Of course, we talked not only about Hogwarts and magic, I asked her where she is from and about her family. Apparently, her family was normal people without magic, or how they call it here - muggles. Her parents were dentists and were living in London. I knew the muggles part but did not know her parents were dentists. They were very accepting of her identity as a witch. 
Mostly, she was talking. I was never an active part of the dialog. At some point, I caught myself on the thought that she is really open with a stranger, but then I understood that it is probably a speech buff that makes me look like a very good friend, who she can speak with. It is a great opportunity to actually become her friend!
We spoke for approximately 15 minutes when other people started coming in. When people, started converging, I remembered the problem of the schedule, so I asked Hermione about it. 
"Do you know when will we receive the schedule for lessons? Or did I somehow miss it?"
"No, Percy said that Professor McGonagall will distribute it at the breakfast. Which lesson do you want to attend the most?"
"Honestly, all of them. New knowledge is always great, especially this type of knowledge."
'And new skills are even better!'
"I am the same." She answered.
"Since I never knew of this world before coming here, I am very fascinated by every little thing in this school! This is why I enjoy talking with you so much because you told me so many interesting things!"
She reddened a little bit and smiled.
"You are always welcome to talk."
"The first day and already got a friend. I am so happy! When do you think, will we go to the great hall?"
She seemed especially happy when I said about a friend. 
I can't stop being fascinated with the power of the very high speech. What will it be like when speech will reach 90 or even 100? Just by saying something casual I will be able to control people around me, huh? 
Let's stop dreaming! After all, Hermione is still a kid, so maybe speech works better on her. Can't be sure. 
'System, how much more time will buff be in effect?'
[Buff was provided for 24 hours.]
So, it will expend tonight, huh? Well, shouldn't be too greedy here.
"I think after all will be here. Then prefect will lead us there."
"Prefect?"
"Yeah, Percy is a prefect."
"Really? Didn't know about that."
'Who the heck are prefects? Anyway, doesn't matter.'
"First-years! Please come here. Are all first-years here?" 
At that moment I heard Percy's shout. Apparently, we will be going out.
We stood up and together went after Percy in line. Once more road till the great hall was confusing, always changing and fascinating.
After some walking, going up and down the stairs, our group has reached the hall and taken a seat at the Gryffindor table. Because I and Granger walked close to each other, we sat together. 
Like last time, food magically appeared at the table in a few minutes, but this time I was able to witness it with my own eyes and honestly, I was fascinated, but the matter still remained a mystery to me. Food just appeared on the table. No mystic lights or special sounds. No special effects at all.
Students of older years started converging as well. We had a good breakfast and I have finished my food very fast.
Soon, Professor McGonagall came to give us the schedule of lessons and a map of Hogwarts. The first lesson will be history. After asking the time from nearby people and checking with the schedule I had 3 hours until the first lesson. 
I really wanted to go to the library to read some books and check them with the inventory. Maybe just reading them will give some skills or maybe there are some interesting books. Like books of spells or something of a similar sort. Plus, I can read my own books in peace and quiet. 
I decided to ask Granger if she wants to go with me and she agreed. To save us time I did something, some kids would consider embarrassing, but to me with adult mentality it was nothing. 
I came to senior students and said:
"Hello, my name is Magnus. I am in the first year and want to go to the library, right now. Is anyone of you going to go there, so that we can tag along."
'Show me da way!'
"Well, I am not going there, but one of my lessons will be not far from there, so I can lead you there."
"Thank you very much."
"Name's Oliver Wood, by the way."
"Happy to meet you. I will wait till you finish breakfast and then we can go."
"No need, I will go to the bathroom on our way to quickly go wash my hands."
"That's great cause I also needed to wash my hands."
'And brush my teeth. I mean how can those people eat so much and then just go do some stuff. I always brush my teeth after food. Am I strange here or am I strange overall? Well, whatever.'
** 30 minutes later ** 
"Thank you very much for leading us here!"
"No problems. See you and have a nice first day."
"Have a nice day as well. See you"
Now I know the approximate road from the hall to the bathroom and then to the library. Why approximate? Because this school changes itself like mad! Stairs move, paintings change, armor walks away, some roads may even disappear! Nothing is certain when it comes to the path in this school. 
Anyway, the library was magnificent and had thousands of various books. I picked the first book on the first shelf. It was about wand making. Then I found a place to sit and started reading. Hermione was still looking for something interesting to read and after finding a book she liked she sat near and delved into reading as well. 
I read and read. I did not really try hard to understand everything that was written, but I wasn't rushing to finish it either. I was just reading it for the sake of reading and of course as an experiment if reading gives anything. 
I did not want to experiment with putting a book into the inventory and checking if I can 'Use' it for now. Who knows what charms put onto the books... Hopefully, later.
I have no idea how much time I spent reading, but soon I heard notification and saw the next message.

That is the skill? I will check it in the evening, now it can be a bit risky to stand dazed, looking at skills. I mean, I don't know how I will look at that moment, in the eyes of others. Therefore, I just continued reading. 
After reading approximately 70 pages in the book, I decided to check what time it is. I asked my companion if she has a way to check the time.
"I heard 2 bell chimes, so it should be around one hour or a bit more since we have entered the library. Plus, half-an-hour we spent getting here, hour and a half left till the lesson."
Bells! Crap, I did not even pay attention to those sounds going off in distance. My mind does not even consider them useful. After all, as a person who came from an age when time is literally written on everything around you, you become unaccustomed to these old ways of tracking time. Now I need to pay more attention to that. 
Anyway, we can read until one more bell chime, then we need to get to the lesson, using the map. Knowing how hard it is to navigate here, we better get earlier, than rush and get lost.
"Then after next bell chime, we can start going to the next lesson. After all, I am unsure of navigating through this school. What do you think?"
"Yeah, I agree. One hour should be enough to get there. Actually, can we borrow books?"
"It is a library, so I think we can. But I will ask, don't worry"
I went and asked the librarian and after many promises, a note and usage of the high speech she permitted borrowing, but we have to return it till vacation. I agreed with that, told Hermione about this and continued reading.
This time I heard, when the bell ringed and told about it to Hermione. Then, we stood up and took books to borrow. She took one book, while I took 3 books out of here. I pick books in order anyway and don't really care about what information they contain.
** 50 minutes later ** 
Finally, we reached this place and that is only thanks to my companion. Without her, I would have been lost till night probably. Does she have a compass or something?
In any case, history was boring. Plus, ghost teacher for history? And he is still so boring, having all that time behind his shoulders? However, I attentively listened to everything, but mostly we were just memorizing dates, names, and places.
After the lesson, I returned to the library to continue reading with my new friend. She was enchanted by all the lessons it seems, no matter how boring they are. As long as it brings knowledge. She is amazing, indeed.
** In the evening **

After finishing the first book, I received those 2 notifications. Honestly, this level up was earlier than I expected, but I think I got a new level up so soon because I raised speech so often. So, it seems the higher the skill raises, the more experience it gives out, which makes sense. Harder to get, better the prize.
In any case, I put the book back at its place. And picked my 2 other chosen books with me, before going to the dormitory. Granger decided to finish her studies for today as well, so we both went to rest.
As soon as I got to my room, I locked the door, lied on the bed and said 2 words, I was waiting to say for so long.

Bryce and I have been on more dates since Last year. This year I'm still tiny... I'm a Senior, so is Blaire and Blaine, and Bryce is a Junior. I may be older than him by a year but we look like we could pass as me being younger than him, due to height. After last year my depression has been cured all cause of Bryce. Bryce still remains Bi-Polar... Given this, we are more well known in school. Sure we didn't sleep with each other yet like every other couple but it's fine... Right??

I sit there on the couch of the dorm reading a book. "You're still reading?" He asks. "Don't worry, I'm almost done" I say as I look back at Bryce. "Don't be long..." He says. "Is there something wrong..?" I ask. "My... Ex, Texted me. She said she'll be visiting for a while... Maybe transferring." He says. "Ok" I say. "You're ok with this?" He asks. "I don't wanna be the "Jealous Type", Plus, after everything I doubt anyone could break us apart." I say. "You're amazing" He says. "Bryce, Is it... Weird, that in our whole relationship we only kissed TWICE?" I ask, in a concerned tone. "I don't think it's weird, but maybe a sign? Maybe it's saying that I promise you, whenever you're ready we'll be intimate." He says. "Ok" I say.

Counting the minutes and hours til his ex comes. We are laying in bed trying to sleep. "How long ago was it?" I ask. "Back at our old school, Freshman Year" He says. I turn to face his direction. "Is she at least nice?" I ask. "She was, I can't tell if she changed though" He says. "Why do you ask?" He asks. "I said I wouldn't be jealous... But the only thing on my mind is what if she's better?" I say. "Trust me. If she were better I wouldn't be here with you, wouldn't I?" He asks. "I guess so" I say and smile. We both come in and kiss. Suddenly the power goes out. We exit the dorms and we see everyone else exiting their dorms as well looking confused. We go to Blaire walks out of our dorm cause she's been studying. "Do you know what's going on?" I ask. "Where's Bryce?" She asks. I turn around and he is gone. After that I see him walking back towards us. "So..?" I ask. "There's something wrong with the technical stuff so it turned off the power everywhere." He explains. "Let's just go back in" I say, taking his hand. We sit in our room and play on our phones. "How long do you think it'll be out?" I ask. "Most likely all night... So don't waste your battery on your phone." He says. "B-Bryce..." I say. "Yes, Sav?" He replies. I start to back up on the bed. He walks towards me and comes close. As he comes closer I start to lie down as he starts to get on top of me. We kiss. I start to take off my nightgown... Now this is it. We are actually being intimate with each other. He starts to kiss my neck and I  take off his shirt. He slips his hands to my bottom and takes off my underwear, stripping all our clothes, til we're completely naked on our bed. "Wait... What if Blaire walks in..." I say as we kiss. "She's asleep." He says. We continue. We keep kissing and suddenly the power goes on. Blaire walks in as we don't notice. "Uhh, t-the powers on..." She says. She then leaves the room. 

It's now the morning and I wake up, still naked but covered in the sheets. "Good morning" Bryce says as he walks in with a trey of breakfast. "Wow, What's this?" I ask. "Breakfast in bed, silly." He says. "Is Blaire still in..?" I ask. "Yes..." He says. "That was embarrassing..." I say. "What was?" He asks as he puts the trey down. "Blaire walked in on us last night, I'm pretty sure she's not happy about it." I say. "She might not but she'll forget about it." He says. "I don't think she'll forget about seeing her brother and her best friend sleep with each other..." I say. "It's not like it was a bad thing... For us" He says. "Of course not" I say. I get up and walk to the closet and change, He's already seen me naked so what's the point. I walk in the kitchen and I see Blaire. "Blaire I'm so sorry-" "I-it's fine... I um, I have to go" She says. As she walks out, someone walks in. "I'm here!" The girl says. "Hey... Um, Savannah, That is Emma, My ex..." He says. "So nice to see you, babe!" Emma says.
