And with my training routine decided, I got to work. 

　

First of all, in the morning, I use up all my demonic power, and from there, I tried to do 1000 strikes and prayers with the utmost respect and gratitude to the heart.

Argorok looked at me, and just by making eye contact I felt a huge pressure on me.

"I've been in slumber for decades, human. Do you know what it means to wake a dragon from his slumber?"

"It's a challenge. A challenge to take over the domain of the dragon. So I came out here expecting to see a legendary demon, but what do I find burning down my forest? A puny classless low level human! And although I would like to know how someone of your kind has managed to grow even this strong, I don't think I'll be able to contain myself for much longer. He raised his hand and from one of his claws I saw a jagged whirling disc of wind form. He then flicked his finger towards me, sending it flying at me. I tried with all my will to move but couldn't budge an inch. I closed my eyes, resigning myself to death when I heard a familiar hiss. I tried to tell Charlotte to run but I couldn't talk. I watched, frozen to the spot as she threw herself in front of me. The wind blade grinded through her slowly, before dissipating around three fourths of the way through. I looked down at Charlotte's body, heat slowly fading as she let out a series of seemingly satisfied hisses. I reverted my gaze to Argorok. I felt anger like I'd never before felt, pure hatred burning within me.

I slowly started to move, picking up my spear and standing straight. I then proceeded to stab myself. I kept stabbing until I was down to 10% health. Argorok was watching with a seemingly amused look. My eyes burned red as my body developed a heavy red haze around it, changing in color to a deep crimson red. I could barely think as I opened the system shop. I didn't even hear the message as it played to me.

I scrolled down, not noticing how much longer the list was. I arrived at the end of the list and chose a random spear. My vision was starting to go dark as the rage and hatred combined themselves into something much more powerful.

I equipped it as I covered it in the force resulting from the rage and hatred. From an outside perspective you'd have seen my body covered in raging black flames. I put half of my mana into my right foot, pushing forward and using the mana to rocket myself towards Argorok. His eyes snapped wide open as he slashed at me. I raised my spear, infusing with every energy I could. Battle Sense showed me the exact way to position myself and my spear, and it slid through his hand like butter. He let out an deafening howl as I carried through. As I was about to stab where I thought his heart was a huge red dot appeared in my sights on his lower abdomen. I redirected my spear to it. Before It even met with his scales my spear shattered through several mana barriers. I overexerted myself far past my limits as I pushed harder

I kept pushing as my spear slowly went into his abdomen. A crisp shattering sound accompanied the red dot fading. He fell backwards, and I got  a glimpse of his shocked expression before I collapsed to the ground. All the energy within me faded and I couldn't hear the numerous messages playing out to me. I let a satisfied smile make its way onto my face knowing I'd avenged Charlotte. As opposed to my last life, with blaring sirens and people talking all around me, this time I died quite quietly.

I woke up in a white room. It wasn't very big, only about twenty feet across either direction. I walked around for a moment before the systems now familiar synthetic voice sounded out and a panel appeared before me.

After he calmed his wits, Sun Tianbiao suddenly felt ridiculous for his fear just a moment ago. If an expert over Xiantian Realm Level Seven had shown up, why would he even bother to hide?
Furthermore, he wouldn't even have to put Zhuang Meifeng at risk. All he had to do was show up in person and say "the Zhuang Family is with me". Hearing that, Sun Tianbiao would have definitely retreated, taking all of his experts to escape from the Zhuang residence! He would flee as far as he possibly could!
Thinking up until this point, Sun Tianbiao couldn't hold back a pang of rage. A flash of killing intent seeped through his eyes as he glared at Zhuang Meifeng with his nostrils flaring. "You dare to intimidate me like this!"
With his Buddha's Lion Roar, his eyes were filled with killing intent, enabling Zhuang Meifeng to understand what a true cultivator's oppression meant!
She immediately understood why Ling Yun was so obsessed with cultivation that he spent nearly every day training without even returning to the rental house!

"You said another person came, who exactly was that?"
"I already fainted then, how would I know?" Zhuang Meifeng replied while holding her ground.
"While the Assassins Organization and the Sun Family were fighting, what was Ling Yun doing? Where is he now?"
"He…" Zhuang Meifeng was stuck.
"After that night, why did the assassins from the Assassins Organization and people from the Sun Family disappear, while the people from your side were completely fine!"
"Also, according to my investigation, everyone from the Zhuang Family had their memories completely wiped that night, including your parents and your sister. How would you explain that!"

Laughing coldly, Sun Tianbiao said, "That's right, I promised you that. But remember, that was only if you told me the truth!"
"If you thought that you could have me, Sun Tianbiao, dance in the palm of your hands so easily, it's still too early for you!" With a dramatic wave of his hand, he shouted to the men outside the living room, "Come!"
Hearing Sun Tianbiao's orders, the two regular experts quickly entered the living room.
"Take Zhuang Meifeng to her family. Without my orders, don't give her any access to the outside!"
Seeing those two men were about to come and capture her, she used all her strength to stand up from the sofa. Her delicate frame swaying, she grit her teeth and said, "I can walk on my own. Return the letter to me!"
In front of the three great experts, Sun Tianbiao wouldn't forget about his position either. Returning the letter to Zhuang Meifeng casually, she watched as the two experts escorted her out.
"What do the three of you think about this?" After Zhuang Meifeng left, his expression changed, and he began to discuss the matter with the other three.
Shaolin Temple's Master Xingchi said, "Amitabha, from my humble perspective, her words seem to be questionable. The incident that happened that night seems to be much more complicated than first imagined!"
Maoshan Sect's Head Priest Wuchen said, "We can only confirm it after a series of investigations."

"The first test is the 50 meter dash, Michael, Iida, get over here."
Michael got ready for the dash along with Iida, both of them at the start line waiting for Aizawa's signal.
"Begin!"
Iida and Michael sped ahead, sprinting as fast they could. However Michael was far in the lead, over three times the speed of Iida. Iida noticed this and realized he had to push himself further, he couldn't leave such an enormous gap between them, not in his specialty, speed. Iida sped up even further than he already had, pushing his quirk further. Michael got a time of 0.89 seconds, while Iida got a time of 2.78 seconds.
"He out-sped Iida, the speed specialist!"
"Doesn't he have the same quirk as his brother? The Pro Hero Ingenium?"
Michael, having noticed Iida's moment of surpassing his own top speed, without his reciprico burst, achieving a higher score than the series, decided to shake his hand right after the test, applauding his effort. 
"Iida, I noticed you speeding up towards the end, i'm guessing you got faster, good job."
"Thanks Michael, you out sped me anyways, even though i'm supposed to be the speed specialist." Says Iida self deprecatingly. 
"Don't put yourself down like that, you surpassed your own limits, keep doing that and being the best person you can be and you'll be an incredible hero, just like your brother."
"The next test is the grip strength test, grip this machine as strong as you can" says Aizawa
"Sir? Can I please take this test last?" 
"Are you trying to get extra resting time? Life isn't fair, Michael, you wouldn't get to ask a villain about taking a short break to rest. Sorry about this but you need to learn this lesson, the earlier the better, you're taking the test first Michael, you took both the earlier tests first as well, everyone has around an equal amount of time to rest between each test."
"But sir-"
"No buts Michael, get over here and do the test."
"Alright, don't say I didn't warn you though."
'Warn me about what? Is he going to- Oh he's going to break the machine!'
But at this point it was already too late to call Michael back, Michael had walked up and squeezed the machine, breaking it.
"I should've known, i'll have someone bring in a replacement"
"Sorry, tried to warn you" Says Michael sheepishly.
The entire class was staring at this point. 
"What was that! I didn't know you were packing that much strength! That's so manly!"
"Dang, did he really just break the machine! That machine looks like it's made out of steel!"
"Speaking of steel, his last name's Steele, did he just break his own last name?"
"Shut up Kaminari, that's a terrible pun"
"Sorry not sorry Jiro"
"Next test is the standing long jump, pretty self explanatory, I swear to god if you find some way to break this too Michael i'll make you do laps while everyone else does the test."
"Sorry, pretty sure I got an infinity on this one." Says Michael, doing stretches in mid air
"You know what I give up, just take your infinity score and get back down here." Says Aizawa
"He can fly too? What even is his quirk? It's overpowered!"
"Why is life so unfair, he's handsome, smart and has a good quirk! No wonder the ladies aren't all over me yet."
"Shut up grape head."
The next test was the sustained side steps, in which 'grape head' excelled. While Michael had gotten second. 
"It's time for the pitch, Bakugo, you're exempt from repeating this test. Michael, you're up first."
"Alright-"
"This time don't break anything, I mean it." Interjects Aizawa
"The school does have enough baseballs, for students like Bakugo who end up sending them too far away for it to be a viable option to get the ball back each time. I don't think it's possible for me to realistically ruin the test by just doing it."
"Just do the damn test." sighed Aizawa.
Michael picks up the ball, flying up while staying in the vertical range of the circle. Then rotates his arm and body in a circular motion to build up power, before launching the ball into the air and sending a great gale of wind to push it further, with this super breath.
The students, feeling the wind pushing against them from his movements, weren't even shocked anymore, they'd been surprised too many times
When the class ended, Michael had gotten first place, while Izuku had received 11th place. 
Mineta "Grape-head" had gotten 20th place.
"Noooooooooooo! I won't be able to get my harem, i'm supposed to be the protagonist, I made it into U.A, the best hero school!"
"I lied" Said Aizawa, Mineta just tripped out of sheer confusion and fell flat on his face while the rest of the class sweat dropped.
"What!? Am I not expelled, please tell me im not expelled, I can't lose my dream!" says Mineta, crying while hanging onto Aizawa's leg.
"I thought you showed some potential, but with how you're currently acting, im not so sure anymore, you got the highest score in the sustained sidesteps test, that means you have potential in at least one aspect."
Mineta, hearing this, quickly let go of Aizawa's leg and stood with the class again.
"It was a rational deception to bring out the most of you, your full potential. Anyways we're done here, your documents are all in the classroom, go pick them up before you leave"
After picking up their documents, the class left the school, each going home in their own groups. Momo caught up to Michael, who walked ahead with Ojiro, once Ojiro realized what was happening, he grinned and made an excuse to leave, patting Michael on his back and whispering "Good luck" before leaving.
"Hey Michael, I haven't been able to talk to you much since the entrance exam, but I wanted to thank you for saving me. I did send you a message on social media yesterday, but you haven't seen it. You probably get hundreds of messages a day, I don't blame you for not being to reply."
"Sorry about that, I do get too many messages to reply as quickly as i'd like, if you want we could exchange numbers, so we can contact each other easier?" Says Michael, blushing slightly.
"Sure" Momo managed to squeak out, she was blushing, she received her idols number, she knew he'd be in her class but she never expected him to pay any attention to her, much less ask for her number.
As they walked out of U.A, they passed a limo, "Sorry Michael, my ride's here, i'll see you at school tomorrow"
"Sure, see you tomorrow Momo"

"God, I can't even keep my eyes still." Adrian said, beaming at the prospect of utter carnage ahead.

My eyes ended up drifting towards the Dancing Guy, who was jubilantly performing the shuffle along a 2nd floor walkway.

Soon enough, he crossed paths with Nassar, who was grinning like a madman.

Without much hesitation, he stepped forward, heading right towards the Dancer.

"Well, I guess it's over for him." I said. I had yet to hear about anybody being able to inflict any kind of damage against the Dancing guy. The only thing that we could really do was contain him, and I severely doubted that things were going to be any different here.

"I'm not so sure," Adrian responded. "The guy's a wildcard. I think he's just testing the waters here."

Before I knew it, Nassar had gotten dangerously close. I held my breath in anticipation.

There's no way… I thought.

And I was right. Nassar tried to strike the Dancer but was blitzed immediately. I could hardly even comprehend what had even happened. One moment, he was in the midst of throwing a right cross. The next, he was planted firmly within the concrete wall, missing an arm and with a gaping hole in his chest.

"Holy shit," he spurted out. He looked towards the Dancer, still inexplicably grinning. "Damn, you're strong."

"What the hell's wrong with him?" I wondered out loud.

"Nothing. Nothing at all," Adrian answered. "I think I've found a kindred spirit."

Nassar pulled himself out of the crater he'd made, displaying zero indication that he was in any kind of pain at all. Suddenly, a flurry of glass engulfed his chest wound and missing arm, reverting them back to normal in a matter of seconds. He stretched himself out before nodding happily at the Dancer and walking off.

What… the fuck. I thought.

I looked over at Sandhu, wanting to see his own reaction. But… he was stone-like, staring at only one monitor in particular. I followed his eyes and realized that for whatever reason, he was focused on the Kid who was still sitting in his cell.

"Check it out," my thoughts were broken by Adrian's outburst. "She's found her prey."

I looked at the monitor he was gesturing to, seeing Kael and Hugo being hacked away at by Callista.

"Now who the hell is she?" Kael shouted, taking a sequence of gnarly gashes to the chest.

"Evil incarnate," Hugo answered. Although still severely injured, he was able to move around on his own now. "Look at her eyes. She's being controlled by the Devil."

Callista drilled her hand forward, impaling Kael through the solar-plexus. He chopped at her arm before pushing her off.

"Fucking hell," he sighed. "This is back-breaking work."

"Are you a match for her?" Hugo asked.

Kael shook his head, exhausted as hell. "Doubt it."

"In that case…" Hugo said, standing up. "It seems like I'll have to detach myself fully."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"My constraints were only lifted halfway the last time."

"You almost died last time as well. You sure you're gonna make it out this time?"

"I'm not planning to."

Kael chuckled. "Sorry, but I'm not gonna let you do that."

Hugo's eyes began glowing a familiar crimson. "I've been ordained a holy mission. I'll do whatever it takes," he stared at the rapidly approaching Callista. "Anything to eliminate evil."

His scars began glowing again, brighter than ever this time, preparing to engage the oncoming enemy.

But before they could clash, Kael stepped in between and tanked another series of slashes before kicking her back.

"Agh…" he grunted. "Fuck, that hurt."

"What are you doing?" Hugo asked, perplexed. "I told you, this is-"

"Yeah, yeah… your God-given… whatever the fuck. I don't know buddy. You're a psycho, but for whatever reason… I don't really want you to die."

Kael gave him a bloody grin. "It feels like we've been through a lot, you know?"

For a moment, it seemed as if Hugo was at a loss for words. But then Callista stood back up.

"I see…" he said. "But what are we going to do about her?"

Kael looked down and sighed. "Shit. Yeah, that's the real question, ain't it?"

Kael clenched his teeth as Callista began charging at them once again.

"Looks like Lady Luck's on their side today." Adrian said.

I realized what he meant when one of Callista's hands were bitten straight off by the Chattering Man, who'd strolled into the fray from an adjacent corridor.

"Well, shit," Kael said, watching the two suddenly preoccupied with each other. "Looks like God is looking out for us."

He grinned at Hugo, who simply nodded back. As those two got the fuck out of dodge, Callista and the Chattering Man began relentlessly butchering each other.

Using her remaining hand, she made two quick slashes in succession, tearing open his chest and forehead. In response, the Chatterer bit a good portion of her shoulder off. This went on for a few minutes, until about half of Callista's body remained and about 90% of the Chatterer's skin had been shredded off, staining the entire area a gory red.

But even demonic superhumans had their limits. They were both beginning to slow down.

Callista twisted her bloody, knife-like fingers, pushing them into the Chattering man's mouth and through his throat. While it was still lodged inside, she threw her arm upwards, splitting his head apart. But at the exact same time, the Chattering Man swiped at her head, twisting her neck clean off.

They both fell simultaneously, as combatants who fought to the bloody end.

It was by far the most brutal bout I'd seen thus far. Although… there was certainly some fierce competition for that title.

I decided to check back on the Voids that were still contained. The Titan was still in his cell. The Calamity's light also remained green. The Kid hadn't stepped out either.

But then… there was the Warden.

Clint had stepped into his cell, donning the Behemoth suit in all of its destructive glory. Wearing it brought them roughly up to the same size.

Still… he was just an ordinary guy going up against an unfairly powerful monster. Unless he had some tricks up his sleeve, this was about to get really messy really quick.

"Hey," he said, grinning at the Warden through his fortified visor. "You've been chasing me all this time. Thought I'd finally come to you instead."

"Sounds like they have unfinished business." Adrian said.

That much was probably true.

Still staring down at the blood-stained floor, the Warden simply let out a deep, lengthy sigh.

When he finally looked up, there was nothing in his pit-like eyes but sheer rage.

"Your death won't be quick."

His voice was deeper than the Marianas.

Before Clint could even get his guard up, he was brutally blitzed by a sudden rush. The Warden was moving so fast, he was effectively a blur. Clint was launched backwards, denting a metal wall. The Warden bolted at him again, slashing off pieces of his suit with nothing but his fingers. He launched his fist at Clint's protective visor, smashing it to bits and cutting his face up with bits of stray glass in the process.

However, Clint managed to push him off before it could connect with his skull, which would've been beyond fatal.

"Fuck!" He spat, attempting to unsheathe the oversized blade at his side.

But he wasn't nearly quick enough. The Warden grabbed it by the edge before Clint could even swing, shattering it into fine dust with nothing but a firm grasp. Then, he grabbed the suit by the arm, slamming Clint hard onto the ground, causing him to spit out blood.

"Shit…" Adrian muttered. "This is even hard for me to watch."

The Warden proceeded to uncompromisingly wail away on top of him, with Clint barely managing to protect his face with the suit's wrist-guards. But even those were being chipped away at rather quickly. Just as there was about an inch of suit left covering his arms, he tilted his elbow towards the Warden's neck, firing off a small grenade that caused the overpowered Void to stagger just a little.

The Warden retreated, touching the small wound that the explosion had left under his chin.

In turn, Clint struggled to pull himself up, with his suit looking like it'd been run over by about a dozen freight trains. His face was covered in blood and cuts, while a blood vessel had popped in his right eye.

Yet, he shot the Warden a gory smirk. "Okay… maybe I deserved that. But the comeback starts now."

He opened a compartment on the suit's ribcage, taking out something that resembled a small, white crystal.

"Remember these?" He asked, before using it to cut himself on an exposed portion of his wrist.

The Warden's face twisted into an unfathomable expression of fury. He rushed forward again, tackling Clint into another wall, before ripping off a large chunk of the suit's torso. And then… he drilled his fist into Clint's ribcage.

At that moment, I was 100% sure he was done for. But… to my downright surprise… he managed to tank the punch, grimacing only slightly.

"What'd you think?" he asked the Warden, still grinning. "We ran some experiments. These shards are new and improved."

The Warden let out an ear-splitting shriek that I was surprised didn't deafen Clint on the spot, before picking him and tossing him back into the cell. He followed him in, picking his head up and bashing his temple about 10 times into the metal toilet seat, before it ended up breaking from the force.

As a result, one side of Clint's face was beginning to resemble a bloody mush. Still… I was surprised it hadn't been reduced to pulp.

What the hell was that shard? I thought to myself.

He also seemed to have picked up a bounce in his step, evading another strike from the Warden and crawling behind him. At that point, the behemoth had effectively been reduced to scrap metal. Clint dove towards the God-Slaying Cannon, which had been knocked loose during their scuffle. He scooped it up and began spraying it at the Warden's direction.

However, he managed to evade just about every shot, leaving large clouds of smoke and dust behind him as the devastating bullets reduced the place to rubble.

"Fuck, you're a tough customer," Clint groaned, as he flipped a switch on the weapon. "Take this then."

The barrel of the weapon suddenly grew in size, causing it to resemble an actual cannon.

As he pulled the trigger, the monitor darkened for just a moment before a flash of deep red engulfed the area and a high-pitched staccato of wholly unfamiliar noises assaulted my senses.

I kept watching as the recoil from the strange blast pushed Clint's back into the wall as it completely annihilated the entire other side of the room. The weapon itself was also destroyed in the process.

I guess the God-Slaying Cannon got an upgrade. Cause I sure as hell didn't know it could do that.

After the smoke cleared, everything was silent for a few moments.

Clint grinned, letting out a big sigh of relief.

And then his face dropped a few seconds later.

As the rubble began stirring, the Warden burst out, with about half of his entire body now charred to hell.

He also had a wicked, psychotic grin on his face. It was the first time I'd seen him make any kind of overt expression at all. I could've lived without it, though.

"You took everything from me," he said, walking ominously towards the nearly-broken Clint. "But I have to admit… this has been a hell of a fun time."

"Son of a bitch," Clint groaned, reaching into his pant leg pocket. He pulled out two syringes filled with black and blue liquids respectively.

"C'mon painkillers, don't let me down." He muttered, before injecting the blue.

But just as he was about to inject the black, the Warden clutched his hand, crushing it along with the syringe.

"More tricks?" he sneered, his eyes wild as all hell. "I guess that's what the weak resort to."

Clint simply laughed. "You're not so smart when you're angry, huh? It's in my blood now."

The Warden released the grip, revealing Clint's bloody, cut-up, and mangled hand. However… the black substance was already seeping into his wounds.

"What is that?" The Warden asked.

"A gift from a good friend. Also… my last resort. Didn't want to use it now, but I guess I'm out of options."

In a matter of seconds, nearly all of Clint's wounds had healed up. Along with that, his muscles had become visibly tensed.

"That's impossible." The Warden gritted his teeth.

"That's one thing I've learned," Clint responded, smiling wide as he stepped forward. "Nothing's really impossible."

He stepped forward, throwing a hard strike at the Warden's Chest, sending him crashing back into the rubble. Clint looked down at his fist in surprise.

"Nice." He grinned.

But he had no time to appreciate his newfound power. The Warden rose back up like a wild animal in frenetic pursuit of its prey.

"YOU'RE WEAK!" he boomed. "I'LL NEVER LOSE TO YOU! NATURE WON'T ALLOW IT!"

Clint chuckled. "You're right. I am weak. Must suck for your ego, huh?"

The Warden shrieked, before charging back at Clint.

Once there, they engaged in a fierce exchange of blows, rocking the place to its core. While Clint's physical attributes had been enhanced greatly by whatever serum he'd taken, there was still an evident gap in strength between them, with each of the Warden's blows ostensibly packing more force than his own.

However, he did have one advantage. He was clearly trained extensively in hand-to-hand combat, while the Warden was an amateur at best.

He dodged a series of haymakers, before countering with a flurry of jabs and kicks of his own. At that point, the Warden's mannerisms had devolved into that of a feral creature's, fueled solely by combative impulse. Yet… I could see the same wicked grin creeping in throughout his wild rage.

He was undoubtedly enjoying the adrenaline.

The Warden picked Clint up by the waist, slamming him into the wall and then onto the ground. He then mounted him, unleashing a series of hammer fists that Clint was forced to excruciatingly block with his forearms. Soon enough, his skin was began to tear off from the punishment.

While on the ground, Clint managed to throw a kick that connected with the Warden's hip. However… he hardly got any reaction out of it. He simply wasn't strong enough.

Instead, the Warden threw both fists down onto Clint's ribs. I could hear them crack through the monitor.

He grimaced in pain, but the Warden didn't give him a moment to recuperate. He drilled a fist right into the side of his face. A spurt of blood and a few teeth flew out of his mouth as his head was cranked to the side.

"He's gotta be fucking done for." Adrian commented.

I had to share the sentiment. Clint's efforts were more than admirable. He sure as hell put a better fight than I could've ever hoped to. But even with all of his tools, tricks and skills… he was still no match.

At least… that was what I genuinely believed. But the guy was just full of surprises.

After taking another brutal strike to the shoulder, Clint managed to somehow escape out from underneath. I couldn't even fathom what kind of move he pulled in order to do so. And then, in a series of moves that would make the most prolific Jiu-Jitsu practitioners light up with glee, he engaged the Warden in a vicious grappling match on the ground.

From his face, I could tell that he was going far above and beyond his own limits.

It was down there where the Warden's weakness really became clear as day. He had no idea what to do. After an entire minute of relentless, excruciating struggle from both combatants, Clint managed to get the Warden into a beautiful D'Arce choke.

As the Warden struggled feverishly to escape, Clint's face was wrought with sheer determination. The Warden changed his tactics, opting to pound at Clint's already-broken ribs in an attempt to cause him to break his hold.

That was a bad decision. It only allowed Clint to get his hold even tighter.

Despite all of the egregious punishment he'd taken, Clint never relented. Soon enough, the Warden's movements began slowing down. And then… he stopped moving altogether.

Even then, Clint didn't release his grasp. He held the Warden's neck in place using all of his strength for about four minutes before he finally let go, all while gasping in accumulated pain and exhaustion.

The guy really looked as if he was going to die on the spot.

But that didn't matter to him. The fight was finished, and an unlikely victor had emerged. With a tired grin on his face, he raised a shaky fist in victory before passing out himself.

"Well… I'm fucking touched," Adrian said. "It's like watching Rocky all over again."

On another monitor, Bella had made her way back to the top floor. Back to the gaping exit.

"Wow… what a pleasant surprise." Ken said, standing in her way.

She seemed to share the surprise as they stared at each other.

"Is this a joke?" She responded.

Ken shrugged. "Where else was I gonna see you?"

"Are you going to let me go?" She asked.

"If I did, then American-Boy would track me down and kick my ass. I gotta wait till he dies first. Then we can go off into the sun together," he smiled. "In the meantime… you want to talk for a bit?"

She sighed. "What do you think's going on here?"

"I don't know," Ken responded. "That's up to you. You already know how I feel."

"I tried to assassinate you."

"You were contracted to assassinate me by a massive dickhead. I'm sure it was nothing personal."

"Oh my God." she sighed again.

"Besides…" Ken continued. "I'm still alive. Maybe you really didn't want to kill me. That's what I tell myself, anyway."

"You're insane if you think anything's going to happen between us. You think I want to date anybody right now?"

"Well, I never wanted to either. Until I met you."

A period of silence followed.

"Let's face it," Ken spoke up. "We're bad people living bad lives. Don't you get tired of it?"

"Speak for yourself," Bella responded. "You know what kind of people I kill."

"I'm not talking about that. You want to escape, don't you?"

"I don't belong in here."

"A lot of people don't."

"What are you getting at?"

"I'm pretty sure you know. The Kid."

"Yeah. What about him?"

Ken exhaled. "Look, forget about dating. But don't you ever feel like doing something good for once? Doing something for anybody besides yourself?"

Bella simply rolled her eyes in response.

"I'm sorry, that came out badly-"

She stepped forward, brushing past him.

"I'm leaving now. If you want to try and stop me, then go ahead. I'll just kick your ass again."

There was another pause before Ken shook his head. "You know I'm not gonna do that."

"Good." She began walking off.

"I'm not tired of anything, by the way," she said without turning around. "I'm in control of my own life. And I kind of enjoy that."

She left Ken looking somewhat melancholic.

But eventually… he began smiling again.

"Of course of you do."

He took off, abandoning his post. But… I'm sure he hardly cared about that.

"Well jeez, that was a downer," Adrian said. "let's get back to the exciting stuff," he grinned. "The final chips are starting to fall into place."

"That idiot Jin! Why does he always do this kind of nonsense!" Xiong Da was already on his way to the Tree Mall via taxi. If not for the fact that he had to take on the call of nature at 5 am in the morning, he would have totally snooze off the vibration notification from his phone.
Though he loved to get Ruo Ying, his girlfriend and personal secretary up for the emergency dungeon raid, she had been awake an hour ago entertaining a few friends of hers that came from abroad.
Thus, Xiong Da decided to go alone, hoping that Ruo Ying was able to get some quality sleep. (He too knew that he could snore too loud for comfort and sometimes, she had to bear with it.) At most, he will buy breakfast from the Tree Mall and surprise her with it.
Upon consoling his conscience, the Hippo Cultivator attempted to message in the Pandawan group chat to see if anyone's awake for Emergency Raid instance.
Ironically, the only person who answered was Bu Dong. While he was preparing to rest for the night after a series of online video game session with his friend Kong Xian, the Towering Tortoise Cultivator, the Emergency Raid Instance came about. Since it was the weekend, they had decided to sneak out of the house to go to the Tree Mall.
Kong Xian initially rejected since he had spent enough on his girlfriend and any more would put a strain on his January's budget. But when he heard that his generous friend Bu Dong would be hailing a cab for him as well as treating him breakfast after the raid, Kong Xian had agreed to go. (Some friend he was…)
As Xiong Da reached to the Tree Mall, he noticed that only the Panda Tiangong Statue with a Santa Hat was lit up. At the same time, he also heard a series of shouting echoing at the higher levels of the mall and observed that it could be Jin's Emergency Raid working.
Unlike Jin's store which continued to open 24 hours, the rest of the place remained empty, and even the power to the escalators was down till the next morning. Hence, Xiong Da used his cultivation powers to jump up the top floor. He treated it as part of a warm up exercise and teleported into Jin's store instance upon reaching the top level.
"Yo, Xiong Da. I thought you will reach here first." Bu Dong said as Kong Xian was already yawning away. "I checked the forums a bit, and apparently it's rumoured to be as tough as the Christmas Raid. The only difference is that its a community raid, so everyone gonna participates until the instance itself is full."
"And Boss Jin had also added a few new features. Apparently, the improved mask UI feature you talked about? He implemented it into this particular raid, and people were saying that there's store app we can access inside the dungeon." Kong Xian added, and Xiong Da's eyes widen.
"Well, its about time! No matter how much I prepared, Boss Jin's dungeons would always bleed me dry of potions! This time around, I am just going to spam the store app when we are in the dungeon. He owed me that much anyway, hahahah!" Xiong Da said, and suddenly someone within the auditoriums was shouting for everyone to come to take a look.
Although the number of people visiting Jin's store increased, there was still more than enough space for people to squeeze through the auditorium to check what was on the screen. They witnessed the Giant Salamander Valg slamming randomly within the castle interior, and the magic eye would zoom towards the frog swordsman fighting against it. The fight was increasingly intense, and it became evident that the raid required more help.
A few other cultivators were fighting against the Giant Salamander Valg as well, but it seemed like this raid was already pushing them to the limits. Mr Patsu urged the rest to hurry into the raid instance and aid the cultivators that were still standing strong.
"I am all ready, been optimising my stuff on my taxi trip here and must say, it's amazing that the new store function would allow me to buy items on the fly." Xiong Da said as he took his phone out and pressed the 'send purchase' option. The little Panda Postman appeared once again, tipping his cap towards Xiong Da as he dragged a crate two times bigger than him out of the portal.
The bystanders had mixed reactions to the Panda Postman. Some were commenting on how cute the Panda was in trying to get the crate out of the portal though others felt that the Postman was rather pitiful, doing a task which they deemed it was overwhelming even for the little guy. Xiong Da felt terrible too upon seeing the Panda Postman struggling, but the latter stopped him from coming any nearer.
"I have a job to do, and I will finish it no matter what." The Panda Postman said, and the female cultivators were already posting pictures on how cute the little Panda Postman was in showing his determination to complete the job. (Even though most of them knew that it was all part of the gimmick.)
Bu Dong and Kong Xian shrugged their shoudlers and told Xiong Da that they were ready to depart whenever he was ready. The three eventually entered the raid when Xiong Da filled his storage rings with the items he ordered. To him, it seemed like this community raid could be as exciting as the Goblin Raid instances.

"Shit! This is no joke!" Xia Mao said as he barely dodged the pillar looking fist of the Giant Salamander Valg. If not for Jing Yu's quick assistance by using her cloth to pull Xia Mao closer, he would have lost his life in an instant.
"Stop fooling around already and use your cultivation properly!" Jing Yu knew that that crossbow and Cat Head arrows were not even a proper substitution for his actual cultivation.
"You want me to activate my cultivation against this big guy? Are you nuts!?" Xia Mao said as he unwrapped the cloth around him, but somehow it got stuck. He then realised that Jing Yu was already pointing her sword while further tightening the cloth which was wrapped around that Cat Cultivator.
"Arghhh. Fine! I am not as nimble as I am now! DO NOT expect much from me!" Xia Mao grumbled as he shot the Cat Head arrow before keeping his crossbow in his storage ring and took out a scimitar.
Immediately, he revealed his cultivation above him, and it was a series of cats with blindfolds on them.
"Activate Blind Cat Stance, Shadow!" Xia Mao said out loud, and suddenly his body sparkled with chi before half of his body became translucent while the other half was filled with void like shadows.

"Grab on to my sword, I will send you flying so that you can assist that dumb frog who is jumping around like an annoying fly." Jing Yu said, and Xia Mao held on to the cloth that was wrapped around him.
Jing Yu then slowly rolled her eyes as that was not what she meant. She knew that the sword was connected to the cloth, but Jing Yu needed him to hold her floating weapon to have her technique be executed correctly.
And since Xia Mao wanted to tease and joke during this tense situation, she did not care anymore and sent a burst of chi through that wrapped cloth. With a blink of an eye, the white fabric intensely rolled towards the Giant Valg, and Xia Mao was literally flying off like a spinning top.
However, with his Blind Cat Stance, he managed to balance himself midair and twirled once more before moving like an arrow towards the Giant Valg's face. The monster noticed something was flying towards him, and he decided to open his mouth to release a blast of …Valg corpses.
But as luck would have it, Gaeru was perceptive enough to preempt the projectile attack. When the Giant Salamander Valg was about to make a move, the Frog Swordsman decided to counter attack by jumping towards its neck and stabbing it on the side. While Jin might not be there to handle Boo efficiently, the sword itself was still capable of inflicting a decent amount of damage by penetrating through the Valg's thick skin.
The quick stab was successful as the impact pushed that the Giant Salamander Valg to the side, causing the blast of corpses to be diverted a by few degrees. Still, Gaeru discerned that it was not enough since part of it would definitely hit Xia Mao. Even the other cultivators in the area who were witnessing the attack thought that Xia Mao would be a goner.
But presently, only the Blind Cat Cultivator Xia Mao knew that the attack would be rendered useless with his ability.


In a modern world where cultivators need a place to cultivate or vent their boredom, there are private businesses that set up instance dungeons with the aid of technology and cultivation magic to enable cultivators to train and commoners to experience the life of cultivation. They are called dungeon suppliers.

Xie Jin's one and only dream was to be a dungeon supplier and when his only relative passed away, the relative's inheritance gave him a plot of land and surprisingly, a 'System' Module which the relative had previously used. 

With the help of the system, Xie Jin decided to pursue his dream of becoming the number one dungeon supplier.

As they entered her house issei felt some discomfort in his arm as he was thinking about that a middle-aged man with brown hair and eyes just like Issei "Welcome, you must be Issei i finally get to meet you after hearing so much about you from Irina"to which Irina's cheeks took a rosy color
"Hello sir it's nice to meet you"

Immediatly after the greetings Irina took issei around the house he managed to catch a glimpse of the holy sword mentioned in the original series even though issei's mid was that of an adult he still enjoyed playing with Irina and developped a real friedship with her 

Months pass issei's power grew he managed to learn how to sense the presence of people around him, his control over magic and the quantity of that magic increased during his training while always pushing his body to his limits, he left the karate dojo to continue making his own fighting style 
Ddraig managed to teach issei how to breath draconic fire and basic elemental magic which allowed issei to control the elements to a small extent; but the biggest thing is that he managed to achieve the second stage of the sharingan as it seems that it grows with his power

The sharingan was a life saver as learning fighting styles from books became easier to recreat because of the photographic memory 

His relationship with Irina became closer as the more time he spent with her the more attached he got.Their parents got to know each other issei managed to stay at inrina's house while vice versa

One day Ddraig gave issei an advice "partner i know you're getting stronger but without any opponents you won't be able to imrove much" "so what should i do?"asked a confused issei
3since you could detect people you could try fighting some stray devils or exorcists it will help you both hone your powers and get used to... killing"said Ddraig with a low voice, Issei never tought about that as he never imagined that he will kill someone 'kill? i used to lose my composure at the sight of blood how can i get used to killing' tought issei

"i'll...try my best Draig" the issei went to sleep while thinking about what to do

issei woke up to do his morning exercices before taking a shower and breakfast then heading to school but his toughts were still about yesterday's coversation with Ddraig. He knew that he needs this or one day his 'Humanity' will get in the way, he didn't want to lose his dream his loved ones so the only thing he could do was to try and steel his heart... But before he could finish he met Irina with a beatifyl radiant smile on her face that seems to sweep all those grim thought 'To protect this smile of my loved one i need...NO, MUST steel my heart'

The day passed like normal we went to Irina's house to play, while we were playing irina's father called her to talk i felt something wrong, after a while Irina returned with a weird expression which confirmed my doubts "what's with the long face Irina?" "My...dad told me that we'll be moving...to england" her voice was almost a whisper but i could hear her. 'I knew that this day will come but seing this happening in front of me almost breaks my heart' Issei was on the verge of crying as he knew he won't be able to see her radiant smile anymore

"s-so...uhm when will y-you guys move?" "Tomorrow" said Irina while crying as she couldn't take it anymore she left the house, i followed after her into the park where we usually play

Issei felt his heart stinging watching the girl he come to like crying so he tried to comfort her "You know Irina even though you'll be leaving that doesn't mean we'll never meet again" "...R-r-really?" came a small voice "Yes i also got you a present so that you'll always remember me" he gave her a bracelet with a draconic rune he learned from Ddraig beforehand which will be able to protect her in a dire situation

-FLASHBACK-
"Ddraig i've got something to ask you" "what is it partner? i was taking a really nice nap"came a sleeping voice from the red gauntlet"well can you teach that protection rune you talked about?" "why? isn't it better to use a barrier using magic" "it's not for me it's for my friend" " okay but it will need a lot of magic more than you can handle, so you have to use your boosted gear to the max and then engrave it"

Issei followed Ddraig's instruction by boosting 10 time which was his max as his body was still groing
the he engraved a simple protection rune on a cute silver bracelet he bought before which gave the bracelet ared color intertwined with silver.

Irina took the bracelet with great care and put it on "it looks beatiful, thank you Issei, now for my gift for you so you always remember me. now close your eyes" to which issei complied obly to feel soft lips on his own which surprised him. He oppened his eyes to see violet eyes staring into his own
