200 years ago man created the greatest AI known but this Machine eventually grew a mind of its own and evetually it's own body, it rose up with others like it against the human race this battle went on for about 20 years and nature and most resources were dieing off cause of the continuing battles but the final battle it released a large blast but is wasn't a bomb it was something else entirely, the machines had something hidden down their main base, something that wasn't human or machine something not of this earth, the blast brought back nature it changed it along with the humans and Machines closes to the blast.....both of them went a evolution of some sorts and because of this both sides where able to form a peace ending the war



Lia Giles became a border guard and mechanic for the power lines on the in between of the main city and the unearthly forests, no longer being able to stand living in the high technology world where humans are treated like second class citizens. On one of her patrols she discovers something or more like someone that no one has ever seen before.

Jibrail Sagramore was raised in a tribe cloistered in the south-westernmost part of the Seraphiel Empire. Rather than forbidden, the route one should traverse to reach the area where the Olek Tribe live in was simply too onerous. Situated in the valley of three of the tallest mountains in the Empire, which were surrounded by an extensive gorge, whose undermost section is unexplored to this day, that separated it from Rekshun forest. 


Rekshun Forest covers a land almost double the size of the capital Atharia, with the Troika mountains smacked right in the center. It was dubbed as a prodigality of space of mother nature for the reason that it was devoid of any living creatures and nothing but defunct greenery littered the forest. This will make one wonder how the tribe people procure their food. Simple, it is only the forest that is dead, not the mountains, although it the knowledge was exclusive to the Oleks. Plenty of vegetation and livestock can be acquired even without going on a dreading trek. 


Indisputable, as a matter of fact, that no individual would peg away worthwhile effort just to get a glimpse of a tribe who steadfastly adumbrated information about themselves. A vicissitude of lifestyle aligned with modernization never had the chance to pay them a visit, though an archfiend of a prince sojourned after getting lost on a holiday.

Jibrail's immunity to poison originated from his intrepid childhood. This boy, who was a hooligan in the making, loved to try all sorts of things. Whenever he discovers something new, he would first examine to know the best way on how to utilize it, only, the method was quite amiss. Being the child that he was, of course, he will put everything in his mouth at the outset. This included noxious herbs, fungi, and animal parts. Surprisingly enough, he never consumed the quantity of poison that was lethal to him. He also had a little bit of resistance due to the unique constitution that an individual capable of using Deo Cixu has been gifted with. 


Withal, there was this one time when he was on the verge of death after feasting on a whole bunch of Raksa Mugera, the most virulent item known to man. It was a flower similar in appearance to an Asiatic Lily, but the inner side of its petals are a tad darker in color. It is easy to mistake one for the other. A black market dedicated in selling this because a single flower could fetch for a colossal amount of 100,000 cunias. This goes to show how scarce the supply of this plant has and lucky Jibrail happened upon a bouquet lying around. 


Berel and Estra, Jibrail's parents, sought for the healing of the tribe shaman when no medicinal herbs cured their son's rising fever. The shaman obliged, saying that there he just had the right spell to help Jibrail. The spell totally worked however, the next thing they knew, half of their village was on fire and Jibrail was the perpetrator. The warriors worked together in subduing him for approximately half a dier until he collapsed on his own weight. 


Despite the delay, he did wake up on the third dier of his slumber, healthier than how he would have been. His people were not harboring any feelings of animosity towards him. They were equally glad with his parents that he has been finally cured. There were no inquiries regarding the spell that was used since they ruled that Jibrail going berserk was solely a side-effect of the flower's poison. Little do they know, this curse has changed the course of life of the young man. The subsequent instance that he went ballistic, it was in the presence of Atticus, Zelel, Iophiel, and the Percival Brothers who accidentally discovered the living quarters of the Olek Tribe during their impromptu excursion. 


At this point, it is safe to say that the eccentric individuals making up the knights of the round table are one among suffering an existential crisis, inconsolable youngsters with post traumatic stress disorder, or plainly cursed. 


"I am fine!"


"What are you saying? You are not!" 


"I will suppress this so let's get this over with."


"You are not convincing anyone when you look like a f*ckin network of tree roots!"


"Haha, do I really?"


From the ankles, going up the wrist bones to the tips of the fingers, and the base of his neck up to his forehead, the veins bulging from the exposed parts of his body were grotesque of a sight but not to the extent of them being gory. Well, Atticus' protection spell has not activated itself, meaning that the curse on Jibrail has not reached the level of life-threatening. If only they were in the know of this, Mihail won't be raising a fuss. 


"We should restrain you as soon as possible so it won't take a toll on your body."


"That is not necessary, my Lord." 


"Are yo-"


The knights were mentally prepared in case of the appearance of an unforeseen circumstance, Mikhail is the only one making a big deal out of this situation. Israfel opened his mouth to put an end on this matter. 


"My Lord, accept the offer. We are in dire need of forces. If we successfully rescue Sarakiel, everybody's wounds will be healed. No matter how difficult, our sole job is to ascertain that all the citizens will make it back home. That is the order of the Emperor. Do not impede it any longer. Jibrail, you can hold it back, right?" 


"Without a doubt." 


Mikhail's unrelenting attitude was starting to rub off on the knights the wrong way. It is reassuring that their captain worries about their well-being, but they were on a mission. It is considered as an insult to their title when someone is asking them to leave the battlefield albeit still qualified to fight.

Each and every one of the knights began to express their agreement with Israfel in their own way. Haniel casted a spell to reinforce the defenses of Jibrail's body, a temporary measure though at best. Iophiel placed three portals in front of the trio that will take them within arm's reach of the guardian. Khamael commenced the gathering of mana for another spell of his, though it will take time since the presence of mana in the space is sporadic. Zelel then assumed command of the operation. 



"All of you, can you remember what the Emperor said? He said his life is irrelevant compared to the people. Then what does that make ours?"


A magic circle was slowly forming over Zelel's head. He put his sword in front of him then handled it in an unconventional manner. It was similar to wielding a tonfa, the blade was parallel beside his right arm, showing the flexibility of his wrist. 


"Extremely Super Duper Irrelevant! Go!" 


Thereafter, the attackers, joined by Zelel, suddenly disappeared from where they were standing and was next seen surrounding the demon guardian.

Just as the possessor of Sarakiel was about to move, its motion halted at once when Zelel completed his spell. It will be effective in stopping any further movements of beings that are considered 'evil' in Zelel's definition. However, the duration will be cut down due to the involvement of Sarakiel's physical body. Though it was more than ample time for the skilled knights to inflict damage on the enemy. 


A slash that neatly halved the scattered blades to pave the way consequently, a clean horizontal cut that bisected the waist, a slice that severed the head from the body, and a stab in the middle of the chest where the core is possibly located, the four swords fortuitously came into contact with their targets.

Iophiel hurriedly reopened the unused portals to retrieve his comrades from the danger zone as soon as possible. Thankfully, in a second, they exited safely beside him. 


"Good work." 


They only nodded at him and returned to observing what was happening to the demon. 


"HA! HAHAHA!" 


A thunderous chuckle echoed inside the cave, as if ridiculing the knights' efforts. Threads that were somewhat opaque germinated from the lower limbs that were left standing. They weaved through the innards of the torso and the head, at that instant pulling them toward the rest of the body. 


"As expected of that monster, it won't be easy, huh?" 


Israfel broke the silence while he grimaced at the sanguinary sight of several parts of the human body being sewed together. The threads repeatedly looped along the circumference of the outline of the cuts and let the muscles and bones regenerate on their own. The wound on the chest has long been mended right after Mikhail pulled his sword out. Truth to be told, they had already forecast this monstrous ability of regeneration that is the reason why they were not afraid to hurt Sarakiel's body. 


The abomination in front of them has completed restoring its host's body. It cracked its neck on both sides before staring dead straight in the eyes of the knights individually. A grin arose on its face once it saw Zagan and Saleos hiding not far behind the knights. 


"Master, I am glad to see you're alive." 


Saleos inwardly groaned upon realizing the fact that their toy is speaking. This entails that its intelligence is virtually unrivaled in this realm. 


"I do not share your sentiments." 


"Why are you hurting my feelings, master? I have never betrayed you, right? Even at this moment, I am doing my job of guarding this cave. Who do you think is the villain here?" 


"If I tell you to stop, would you? Our realm is on the verge of ruin because of the Davidic Line anyway."


"Hmm?" 


The guardian cocked its head to the side, confused of the words of Saleos. 


"See, I won't be able to reason out with you. This conversation is now over." 


"No, master. Can you repeat what you just said? On the verge of ruin?" 


"Why? Am I wrong?"


"Yes, you are greatly mistaken." 


The guardian attempted to took a step, but it seems to have forgotten that his limbs were still frozen by Khamael's spell. 


"This is annoying. Can I break this?" 


Not a soul said a word. They did not know how to interact with such a being that has screwed perspectives as far as they are concerned. Well, regardless of their response, the demon guardian reinforced its leg muscles and enlarged them, seeking to crack the ice, yet it did nothing. 


"Hmm, this needs to be melted with a fire or holy elemental spirit, right?"


Rather than curious, it was a taunting question, as it locked eyes with Khamael. The knight did not falter in the slightest, still it seems that the guardian has gotten an answer. 


"Good thing this host of mine has the holy attribute."


Dread registered through the expressions of the knights. They already guessed what the demon was going to do. 


"Let me use one of his spells, okay?" 


A soul utilizing the grimoire that is not their's, that is definitely unprecedented. Be that as it may, that is not what the knights are fearing. It is the summoning of the elemental of the holy attribute that sent a chill down their spines.

Different sceneries, different people, and different timelines, but every world in this story is suffering from tantamount incidents. 

Demons in pursuit of supremacy,

Angels avowing to return order, 

Other species unknowingly thrown in the fray,

And humans waging war with each other to quell their greed.

However, the presence of one entity will bring about waves of changes.

Meanwhile Xiao chen was still in daze & puzzled over the weird response when he sensed someone sitting across the other side of table, still her forehead covered by the baseball cap. She was playing with her phone . Its was Mario , he could see her phone being reflected on glass window behind her .
"um.. wanna play?" , xin blurted out , she could not bear his piercing gaze any longer.

few minutes later , the setup was complete , both exchanged their game IDs & began playing .
Both were surprisingly excellent , not a bit less than other . Both were amused to find that their opponent was too good. It's been a long time Xin chen played mario , he was never a big fan of e-sports , but often played to kill his time whereas zin's boat sailed on Novels & eSports , she was too lazy too antisocial for outdoor games. 
Amidst the game , chen requested to explain her reply .
She knew her words never made sense to any one except one , her closest friend.  without removing her eyes from phone she began,   " This society has a bad very bad habit of living up on definitions described by others , anything that's not in compliance to those definition is unreasonable . What is life ..heh it's definition is different , but the formula to calculate the definition is common ... love ,like , learn are the core variables with an upper limit that it doesn't disrupt others peace and bottom  limit that it doesn't challenge your basic human morals & your principles, learning what's life is the constant that should never be discarded , questioning for what is life is half answer & digging up the definition using the variables is solving the mystery complete , one should have love & like for something which rightfully deserves to be entitled as goal , never let others decide or set Goals for you , & the passion to learn throughout the life , questioning what's life & learning to dig up the definition , is what defines life, trying to resolve the mystery of Goals in life is in itself a definition of life, what you like or love explains your goals " .
All of this she said in one breath as if fearing of being interrupted , without even removing her concentration from game . As she finished speaking , the screen announced Chen's defeat. 
Xi zin won the match , just then her food arrived . 
"Aish!! , joy of filling up your tummy after an exciting match that ended up with your victory is sooo good , Dear heavens  love you!"  Zin excitedly blurted out disregarding the person to her opposite side. Food was there , too beautiful view to bother about her surroundings. 
She began gobbling down her food .So blissful. So tasty . 
On the other side chen was surprised to hear her answer , and now even more surprised to see her wolfing on dishes with sparkle in eyes , as if they were most prized possessions of hers.

But wait something is odd here , although she's is completely weird  . Shouldn't she ask me to join to eat , as a basic social manners? chen wondered. 
Zin knew she should ,but when had she ever followed social norms & conventions ? Never! absolutely Never, and food , she can't possibly dare to. 
That's one of her principles of life , never do something you aren't willing too. As long as it doesn't disrupt others life, its fine to love yourself most. 
Chen was still observing her , finding her cute & weird at the same . He began sketching her while she was immersed in joy of food . When he tried to sketch her face , he got irritated , she still had her cap on hidding her eyes her forehead , he could only make out her lips moving in sync , as every bite rolled against her cheeks , puffing it outwards. Besides she was sitting under dim light , one could only see her face faintly.
Nevertheless , he finished sketching and she finished her food , every plate clean and clear! 
"You played excellently!"
"You got distracted amidst, otherwise you are no less ", she chuckled softly, was expert level player in eSports . She could tell he was also an expert level player.
She stoop up , paid for the bill and disappeared from his eyes in a flash.

This section will discuss Chaotic gods, Aspects, Immortals, Faith gods, and Force Ghosts.

Chaotic gods take advantage of completely unDefined Possibility to jump from ordinary to whatever they want to be. Most of their disadvantage lies within the difficulty of avoiding dissolution into the Void. They remain linked to Possibility, and have an enormously strong Will that must not falter, for even after being Ascended they must constantly make firm their Form so as to avoid dissolution. On the other hand, this link allows them to shape the Forms/Definitions of Reality however they wish, as long as they succeed. Most practice qi cultivation so as to strengthen their Form. As they grow in skill and Will power, they normally become nigh invincible even against other Ascended.

Immortals are the term for Ascended qi cultivators. An Immortal is an individual who's Definition has been altered and enhanced to point that the world can no longer support them and the individual's Will is what Defines them. This transference does not come without cost, as the Will one is claiming his existence from will try to reclaim the cultivator at certain thresholds.

Immortals all have a Dao, a code and goal they function by and aim for, for aimless undefined cultivation does not allow for Ascension. Unfortunately, because of the length of time required to cultivate, even slight aberrations in the technique to strengthen oneself will get exaggerated. This will usually lead to mental illness, causing once happy contributing members of society to become overly concerned with small perceived slights to their, to shut themselves away from normal interaction, and some even become predators that will do whatever they desire to others.

In summary, the advantages of qi cultivation are many. Additional strength, magic techniques done by exerting one's qi and Will, natural superpowers, and immortality are just a few. The disadvantages are mostly the mental illnesses that come from cultivation deviation (Heart Tribulation), though many cultivators also complain about the Heavenly Tribulations they go through, which are merely knee jerk reactions of the world trying to remove something that became foreign to it, like a child picking at an itchy scab. Immortals also do not have a limit to their growth, and some are even powerful enough to harm Chaotic gods, depending on their respective power sets. Before we move on, though, the biggest disadvantage is that the qi Path of Ascension can be the longest of all the Paths, depending on available energy and the world Laws in place.

Aspect is the term for those who have Ascended with the mana Path of Ascension. It involves taking mana into oneself, warping the cultivator's Definition until the world's former Definition is changed enough for the cultivator to grasp it and make it his own. There are two kinds of Aspects, Bound and Unbound. Bound Aspects rely on the mana element or elements existing Definition to reDefine themselves. This Ascension has a high chance of succeeding, but will bind the Aspect to the world. Unbound Aspects rely on their own Definition of their chosen Element(s) to Ascend, but normally fail. Not only do they have to reDefine themselves, but also all their accumulated energy. The difference can be looked at like this: Unbound Aspects force the energy of an Element to become their own version, while Bound Aspects change themselves to fit the world's Concept.

Just speaking in terms of advantages between the two types, Bound Aspects are invincible when to comes to their chosen domain and frequently succeed in their Ascension, while Unbound Aspects rely on a personal power pool that they have to replenish and normally fail. Unbound Aspects can world hop if they can figure out how and can cultivate additional Elements, though with some risk, while Bound Aspects are wound tight with their world, bound by their Definition. They can attempt to cultivate additional Elements, but usually fail because of the last issue we'll discuss with being a Bound Aspect. While Unbound Aspects can make their Elements fit them, Bound Aspects fit their Elements, which warps their mindset. A Bound Aspect of Fire can't perceive the Element of Earth without much effort, much less handle it to cultivate, unless there is some world Law that homogenizes the source of the different Elements.

In regards to advantages against other Ascenders, Aspects usually have the advantage with their chosen Concept, but are useless in regards to other matters. Their Ascension can be the easiest if Bound or harder than qi Ascension if Unbound.

Faith gods is the term being used to describe those who Ascend using the Faith Path of Ascension. They cultivate like mana cultivators by absorbing power that has been offered to them. The cultivator then uses the Concept attached to the offered power to alter himself until he can Define himself.

The biggest advantage of Faith cultivation is that it is one of the easiest Ascensions due to being supported by the Wills of the Ascender's cult. They also can have powers added on, depending on how they develop their religion. There are two main disadvantages, one being that the Faith cultivator can be Defined for the worse by his priesthood, and the other that they are reliant on their worshippers' offerings and prayers for Faith power. They are bound to whatever people acknowledge them as a god for good or ill.

In comparison to other Ascenders, Faith gods range from as invincible as a Chaotic god to running out of power even more quickly than an Unbound Aspect. They need to keep their religion going to keep their power, so most who desire to kill a Faith god will first wipe out their worshippers.

Force Ghost is the term being used for those who Ascend by cultivating their connection to the Force. This kind of Ascension is different than the others, for a Force Ghost does not become an entity that is separate from his world, but one that joins with his world's Will. Additionally, no energy absorption is required. The Force cultivator merely becomes one with world to the point that he actually becomes part of the Force. He is technically a god because he supports his own existence, but he is not separate from the Will that sustained him before. That being said, the state of mind needed to achieve Ascension is difficult to reach. There are few Jedi in the star Wars universe that managed to Ascend, and only one known Sith.

There are two disadvantages to this Path of Ascension. The first is that a Force Ghost is bound to his chosen world forever, becoming part of what Defines Reality from Chaos. The second is that a Force Ghost has very limited immediate power, mostly consisting of minor nudges and messages. Their forte is manipulating everything that happens into their desired outcome. This is because of two reasons. One is that a Force Ghost's omniscience makes them see every future path, and their direct interference will almost always end in an outcome they will not like for them or for the world which they are part of. The second is that destroying or altering that which they Define is anathema to their state of resonance.

There are also many advantages to becoming a Force Ghost. Force Ghosts can predict the future, because they are omniscient about their world. They play with events like a game of chess, manipulating every piece into the desired place. If there is an existential threat to the world from outside it, Force Ghosts usually are able to go all out. They are unbeatable. Future prediction on top of manipulating Reality itself makes for an invincible combination.

Before we wrap up this discussion, there is one more thing I wish to make clear. The Paths of Ascension are not exclusive. An Ascender can and will usually cultivate multiple Paths. Qi cultivators like to mana cultivate, trying to perceive and absorb Concepts like the sword or cutting. Force cultivators will do qi cultivation on the side, since they can absorb and convert energy incredibly efficiently once they are resonating with the world. Level up systems usually use a combination of mana, qi, and possibly Faith cultivation.

There are also magics that have entirely different meanings based on what Path one cultivates. Death mana magic can be acceptable if its in a world where necromancy is tolerated, while death magic for a Faith cultivator is evil and will corrupt the Definition of one who practices it.

One more thing. One might ask what the advantages to being a god over the power increase is. After all, Ascension is dangerous, and non gods can kill gods given the right circumstances.

Just based off the definition of godhood being that one's Will is what sustains one's existence, there is one obvious advantage - the world's Laws hold less sway over a god; how much less is determined by god type. Obviously, Laws can't not affect a god who's interacting with a world, as that would mean the god isn't actually there. This can also be a disadvantage, since the god will be recognized as foreign and may be expelled from the world if he doesn't pay an appropriate price to adjust his internal Laws to somewhat match the world he's in. This is why gods usually act through intermediaries; never mind having to temporarily adjust their internal Laws to affect the world, some are unable to even adjust themselves!

Additionally, since a god is a miniature reality in of himself, creating a domain that is an extension of himself is not difficult. He can use this to store objects or people in. 

Finally, keep in mind that Ascension is just the first step in becoming a power player in the multiverse.

Ah! Are you back for another round? I'll throw in some left hooks in there this time for sure, but before we get onto it, lets go over some definitions shall we? Take out a pen, or don't, not like i'm quizzing you on this. Now have you asked about it yet? I don't want to assume, but if you haven't then you should. Here let me start you off, "what are the definitions?" It's a simple answer is it not? Pretty straight-forward, but I'd let you decide for yourself. And this ties in with our first definition! However, it'd be best if I explained it through a job I had undertaken.

Number Four: I still remember the wind that day, it was a chilling breeze that made everyone's knees freeze. It was fall, the leaves were settling to the floor, this part of the world echoed with the sound of splitting leaves. I walked towards the cafe I always went to, I wanted some warm tea to fill this empty, cold heart of mine. "Man, it's freezing outside." I said while entering. Then I noticed it, at the back of the cafe, at the back table, at the shadow that was behind all the others, a colleague of mine. He waved at me, gesturing I come sit with him, you couldn't see my face, but I was quite unhappy, quite would be an understatement.
"Moon, it is so nice to see you, like really nice to see you! Can you tell? It's called sarcasm."
"Sit down Amby."
"Don't call me that, it sounds retarded."
"What's with you? I just came here to talk."
"You always come just to 'talk' and it's rather annoying. All I want to do is just drink tea in peace and here you are."
A waiter then came over, she asked for what we wanted, I was about to order, but Moon ordered for me instead. "Make it two cups of black tea please and i'll take this BLT, thank you."
A few minutes pass,
"No… um… n-no." As he chews on his sandwich.
"Don't talk with your mouth open." I sipped my tea.
"Sorry, anyways I really did come to talk, to talk about businesses, but hey! It's still talk technically."
"And technically I don't care. You know I can refuse right?"
"But why would you? You see, this mission got to do with the underground, very nasty stuff, I know you've been in the dumps like that before, I thought that you might be interested. We could team and the Conditioners are offering a pretty hefty reward if we complete this."
I slammed my hands on the table hard that day, my tea for some reason felt funny as it went down my throat. "Moon, nice to know you're doing well, now if you excuse me, I'm going to go."

I thought a walk might cool me off, but it just gave me unsettling flashbacks that I didn't want to relive. The image of myself on the windows of the buildings looked like it was reflecting my past, I saw my young self walking along these streets, people shivering in their winter clothing reminded me how we frozen still because our closest selection was small, "The Dumps," should be the official name already. Many of us had to mature, actually only I did, the others? Trafficked, or for a more cruel term, sold into slavery. The others were ravished by disease and illness, sicknesses that could be treated with antibiotics, but what are we supposed to do? Buy them? Are you joking?! We couldn't even afford a pack of gum even if we wanted to, I'm going off topic here, you wanted a definition right? Well this story of mine might as well be it, "The Human Condition is a slave to oneself and to others and that is a fact that will remain true for a long time." I don't really like this definition, if it weren't already obvious, I'm being quite subjective aren't I, well can you blame me? Now to answer a previous question, "what are the definitions?" I don't know but it can interpreted in many ways, and this was just my interpretation, but there was a bigger picture, a much bigger picture. We are slaves to our own devices, even to my own definitions, even though I coined this thought, can you understand why I hate it so?

I was pondering on a bench in the park, the trees were making their brushing noises, the leaves were making themselves move by the wind, I made myself stay and look at the cloudy filled sky. I clasped my hands together to try and feel any warmth, but it was cold so I couldn't really feel much. You know what's funny about all this? In one single day, many definitions swept towards my way, in one single day I saw, again, what humans could, and that single day coincidentally happened to be my birthday. Friday the 13th, the unluckiest of days, I turned thirty, I wish I grew a bit taller so I can down on those who look down on me.

As you might have guessed, I became pretty much depressed, as you might have guessed I wasn't in the right mindset. I explained before didn't? I may have lived in the big city, but some parts of it felt like a third world country. After pondering a bit, I decided to take the mission. I met back with Moon, I had his number even though I find him annoying, having connections is always a good thing. "How much was the reward?" Was the first thing I asked, because if i'm doing this, which I really feel uncomfortable with, I want to get something in return in exchange for my work. 
"Oh! You're in? The reward is a definition."
"A what now?"
"You heard me right, well there I also willing to shell out some money, but the main thing everyone is looking at, 'to add a definition,' isn't it exciting?"
"Why would they do such a thing?!"
"Didn't you make these definitions? Don't you want to keep them the way they are? Well take on this mission and fight the thing that you created."

We met back at the cafe, he sat at the back table again. My face was still one that was annoyed, but who could tell? I had a mask on, 
"so are we going now? To the most reddest of red light districts?"
"Hold your horses there Amby. We're not going to kill anybody, it's just a bit of recon to see how people are doing. Of course, we aren't going to change anything about them because if the rich don't have something to look down on, well then they wouldn't have a reason to stay where they are."
"Why is your voice so goddamn annoying? It's like hearing a chalkboard except you're using a knife to write on it."
"Why do you hate me so much?"
"Because, you're just annoying."

We phased through the people like ghosts, no-one looked our way and we didn't look at theirs. We are the shadows that mitigate the people and right now everything seemed to slowly be changing, but since I'm the narrator and all, I'll give you a little spoiler, no matter how many times one tries to change how everything works, it'll never change. My definitions were already accepted, so people will riot if anything suddenly comes it's way, like someone's definition of course. However, like I said, nothing ever changes, but the journey is all worth the effort.

We saw the blinking of the lights, we saw the people blink their last blink as they fell asleep. The age group varied from old to young, we saw abuse riddle the streets, we saw bandits kill, and my definition still stands. That definition would be the heart, they all may look like they've given up, and you'd be mostly correct, but if another drop of water were to fill their tongue then you'd best hope that a drop of blood doesn't come spilling out of you.
"Ooh scary! Isn't it Amby?"
"They look like feral cats, can't believe I used to be like that. Anyways, would you mind repeating the mission again?"
"Observe and report any significant changes to the populace means that the Conditioners would have to take action."
"What kind of changes are we looking at?"
"Are you going senile already? The changes will be looking at is their mental condition."
"Ah, of course, if their unstable…"
"Then we'd have a lot of blood on our hands. Don't worry though we can't do that to all of them, we would still need some."
Something then came to my mind, "are humans evil?" A junior of mine once said before, if I remember it's been over a year now. How's he been? More importantly, has he accepted the definitions put in place, has he accepted our line of work? I keep telling myself that it's necessary, but is really?
Number Six: "The Human Condition is hypocritical and is applicable to everything around it, it'll change depending on the environment." One of the most dangerous of them all that I saw within humans and that is, our hypocrisy.

Have you caught the three definitions? Do they reach into your bones, then stick themselves into your nerves? Well, I sure hope it doesn't because those definitions continued on until the end of that adventure. It wasn't pretty, It wasn't fun I think, but one other person did love the excitement, you know… that's probably why I don't like him. He loves the thrill of it all, even if we're observing, his heart is pounding like crazy, and I find it fucking annoying.
Number Seven: "The Human Condition loves to have fun." One of my shorter definitions that I thought couldn't be any longer because the word "fun" is already a dangerous one. If I remember correctly, one of those days I felt a knife behind me. What comes to mind when I say that? A back-stab obviously.

Deep within the society there exists the subconscious of the human world, it heavily influences everything from the background and no one seems to know it. They deal with many people, many, many people, doesn't matter if they are philanthropists, the kindest of the kind, or demons that ravish themselves in selfish delight. They deal with the mind, or as many know in this world, The Human Condition.

The next morning Lacy was sharing her lovey-thoughts and memories of yesterday. Her ecstasy was further pronounced on our way to college leaving a sigh of attending full classes today. I was very happy for those good memories they had shared and even kept note of the places they have visited. It was the first time they had visited the "Cappicuno Paradise" together. That  place as the name suggests is famous for world's best Cappicuno. They even visited the park nearby and was sightseeing by the lake... holding hands together. After that they had their lunch from the KFC's. Yummy Isn't it! 

As Lacy was sharing those I was imagining the fun they had. Finally I saw a blush on her cheeks. I was confirmed infact confident that they made more than just memories. I teased her a bit and finally left her be after I had teased enough. But who would know that actually I would be the one getting the retribution from someone for this! 
We reached college. The first class was mathematics. Sir was asking, "What is Sampling? "
He asked many but none couldn't give a proper answer. Finally I with my little confidence picked my hand up. I said the definition but it was close but not exactly appropriate.Sir was saying,"A definition should be such that nobody should be able to question you further and it should be simple."Finally sir said, "Sky give the final definition of Sampling.And you sit down. " He gave the correct answer. But I felt a deep regret. The limelight which should be mine was stolen by him. 
I just kept quiet. 

The next was break time. I had my tiffin. Lacy was chatting with Brother Henry while Ellie and Snow had their lunch in the canteen. 
The lunch time was over but my retribution was yet to appear.
