On the ground floor lounge of Dream Publishing Corporation, the media crowd in front of a mini stage. An hour before the start of the press-conference, Michaela caresses gently her tummy. Niko worriedly looked at his adopted granddaughter. 

"Are you seriously fine?" Grandpa Niko asked.

"Yeah. This will end everything." Seriously said to Grandpa Niko.

"Alright. Let's go."

As they enter the stage, the camera's continuously flashing against them. Good thing that Michaela wore a black sunglass to deflect the flashing lights. Her clothing style took noticed by many. Everyone knew this is the newly released maternity batwing cape. In public, the colors that were released were dark blue, white and gray. But her color was surely custom made as it was color black.

It was said to be unlucky when a pregnant woman wore a black dress, so they never intended to dye them with black. But this was surprising indeed. Not only the color was surprising, but the true beauty of a pregnant woman could be seen. Also, it was obvious that Michaela Yu wasn't going to hide it anymore, the fact that she was pregnant.

When Niko Lambert and Michaela Yu took their seats. Everyone went silent. All of them were waiting for them to talk.

"Good day to all of you, we request everyone to listen for now and we'll answer your questions afterward. Thank You." Announces by the spokesman of the company.

Michaela then picked up the microphone on the table. Everyone went silent and listen carefully.

"I won't be polite anymore. I heard bad rumors going around lately. It will harm me on the long term, so I had to do something now." Michaela paused for a second. "Yes. I am pregnant."

Everyone who listened didn't have much reaction as it was obvious from her figure alone.

"…The father of my child recently died from an accident when I was away from a business trip to Kalne. With the issue of engagement, it was long been decided by the adults when I was a kid but I just recently heard of it. To be exact, it was on the same day I heard that my beloved died. He was a none wealthy but smart person. It was such a shame that he didn't live long enough."

Suspicions were going around and low-voiced whispers could be heard.

"…I don't care what you think about it though. My fiancé was a freedom fighter as I heard about. He runs away to experience life. He was such a good man *sarcastically said* good thing he wasn't pushed to be responsible to my orphaned child."

Everyone suddenly remembered that child of the Lim's. He run away the moment he heard he was engaged. Therefore, it was understandable that even Michaela Yu haven't heard that she was engaged in the first place and had a private relationship with a common birth.

"… But I really wonder how these rumors of my private life came to be. How come the unpopular me became a gossip to the public? This really makes me even confused as to why I must explain my private life to the people. I haven't even officially seated on the position yet all of you come to me like I am already the owner of the company. Is my grandpa just a decoration to you guys?"

Reporters suddenly became embarrassed. They too, don't know where these gossips came from. They just wanted something to wrote for a living.

"Regardless of what the public believes. I, Michaela Yu, am proudly going to raise my child with or without a partner in life. That's all, thank you." Michaela ended her speech beautifully.

Everyone had a thing or two to think about so the press conference ended smoothly. No one tried to ask about the issue anymore. Everything ended safely. At least for now.

After the press conference, Niko and Michaela had a short break, chatting about the thing in the company. The take a break in the CEO office. They sat on the sofa there. Sighing in relief.

"Mika." Grandpa Niko called Michaela.

"Nani?" 

"You should remember to explain the REAL situation to your child when he grows up. Understand?" Grandpa Niko seriously reminded her.

Michaela was taken aback. She initially planned to just make a fake tomb and put a random name of a person there for him to be the acting father of him. So she ended up replying awkwardly "…o-okay."

Grandpa Niko couldn't help but sigh helplessly. "Mika, you need to understand that you can't hide the existence of his father somewhere out there. You might as well say the truth so he could live peacefully."

Michaela felt that it was reasonable and thought that it was really a pain to lie throughout her life. "Un. Got it." 

As she continued to caress her belly, she thought about the man that night. The real father of her child. Even though she planned to tell her child the real truth, she will also make sure that her child would give up on finding his/her father. 

Given that she also didn't found a clue on that person, surely there were just two reasons that could be made. One, he's a common birth that wasn't really easy to found in the millions of people. Two, he was dangerous and hiding from something. 

Anyways, it's better to prevent something earlier than too late. She won't be blamed in either of that too.

Inside the newly bought condo, with just finished putting in place furniture, Nathan was staring at the fragile little girl in a broadcast on TV. Everyone was airing this news. He was a bit offended with the intonation of Michaela when he was talking about him. But he couldn't help but sympathize with her.

A pregnant woman with a pale complexion, explaining her private life to the public like she did something wrong. What a horrible situation indeed. But nevertheless, she faced it with dignity and courage. His heart somehow felt like it was ripped apart. He even thought that he was there he could support her and protect her…

*shaking his head*

'I shouldn't think like this. That's the person I ditched. I cannot possibly go to her and present myself as nothing happened. All I might gain was disdain and disgust.' Nathan bitterly thought to himself.

Nathan fully believed in Michaela's story. He didn't even found it strange if an enemy knew this person and deliberately killed him for the sake of throwing off Michaela to her path. If its just enemies, then Dream Publishing Corps didn't lack it as they appeared to be slyly taking control of the market without being too rich by themselves. People owed them for their help to get wealth. So, people with too much greed might use force to get what they wanted.

But definitely Michaela herself didn't lack her personal enemies. Everyone, especially girls, envy beauty. Surely, the man that Michaela picked won't be too ugly right? It must be a man who could attract many too.

While thinking about this, a man entered the room silently and was confused at the strange behavior of Nathan.

Mommy said when she gave birth to me, it was her life-saving moment. I know people tend to think a mother and a father would embrace each other to create me, the baby. However, I only had a mother and she only had me. Nevertheless, being known as an intelligent young child was a bad idea. Hey everyone, Himitsu here! I've been having a lot of trouble thinking of what will happen in this story, so this story is going to be paused for a long time, sorry. BUT, while this story will be on pause, I'm going to be reworking "The Demon Wolf" adding and changing some stuff to it in private because I plan on self-publishing it and making it a hard cover and probably digital as well, so there's that to look foward to if you enjoy this story and liked the first one. Haru looked at Seri and nodded. "If you have a question then you can ask away." 

"How old are you?" Seri asked. She felt that Haru was very young even though he seemed very mature, but she could see that he wasn't in his 20's yet. 

"Me? I am 15 years old," Haru said with a smile. 

"..." Seri opened her mouth in "O" shape when she heard his real age. "Really?" 

"Yes," Haru said. "You don't need to think too much about it."

"Princess, if you like it, why not buy it?" the shop lady asked, she recognized the two as they had been the talk of the city currently.

Xiao Jun gave a polite smile and put the hair pin down, "Unfortunately, I did not bring any money with me." she sighed. 

Yun Long picked the hair pin up and then put a few gold coins on the table. "Is that enough?" he asked. The lady nodded, "It is! It is!" 

Yun Long looked at the hair pin and then put it into Xiao Jun's hand. "As long as you like it, I'll buy it for you."

Xiao Jun blushed and looked around, "Then don't blame this princess if you become penniless." she joked, making the shop lady laugh and Yun Long smiled. 

Everyone was shocked, the General! The General smiled! Never did he smile for anyone.

The two continued to walk but then Xiao Jun stopped, "What's wrong?" Yun Long asked. 

She pointed over to a young couple that had caught her attention, "Look, it's your Yue Qi and my Mei'er. Impressive, he changed his clothing for once." 

Yun Long looked and then nodded, "I was wondering why he asked me for a day off." 

Xiao Jun laughed lightly, "Since they truly like each other, let's just go and not embarrass them." she walked in the direction of a fancy restaurant and Yun Long got them a private room.

In the private room, Xiao Jun was eating when Yun Long reached over with food, "Try this."

Setting her chopsticks down, she ate what she was given and smiled, "It's good, what is it?" 

"It's braised pork in a savory spicy sauce with fried vegetables." he replied, putting more of it in her bowl. She happily ate and once their meal was over, Xiao Jun stood up and went to look out the window. Feeling someone behind her, she turned and was met by Yun Long's chest. 

Looking up at him, her lips were captured in a kiss and she grasped his sleeves in surprise.

Pulling away, Yun Long stroked the cheek of a blushing Xiao Jun and earned himself a hit on the chest.

He went to hold Xiao Jun's hand but Yun Long pulled her back. "Please refrain from touching my fiancee." Xiao Jun looked up at Yun Long and Yun Long nodded. 

Ming Yu looked upset, he never got to let Xiao Jun know that he loved her before he was sent out to the fronts. That was 4 years ago.

Throwing back his sleeves, Ming Yu left in anger. Watching him leave, Xiao Jun felt a bit upset but what was she to do? Chase after him and give him false signals?

Yun Long hugged Xiao Jun close and then stroked her hair, "Don't think too much about it. You cannot control the hearts of others."

The mech Unspecialized attracted a lot of both wanted and unwanted attention because even though my previous designs are amazing in their own right they have a clear specialization for example Heatcliff even if it seems perfect it still can't perform  long range attacks and Solus Sinon with all its strength it can't escape from its fundamental limitations like Heatcliff like its limited options in close combat but despite all flaws from both mechs it was still easier to pilot and utilize its skills

As usual it was approved  so my popularity rise and shine more than before I was criticized for publishing such a mech by jealous mech designers and   pilots because of its lack of specialization and me for only creating 10 copies of this mech but who cares about that it doesn't matter to me.  

It can't stop people from appreciating my design such as its adoptability  and high performance but it still won't be sold to customers as there will only be 10 copies of the mech and 30 at maximum because it will be be used for my  private force which will 3, 2 for my family as a heirloom, 2 for the MTA as tribute, 1 for the Dorum Center of Technology and Innovation,1 for the exchange system on my company for the mech designers to study and for mech pilots to use




 so I decided to start working on my fifth mech design which be a landbound medium weight swordsman  mech then officially be recognized as a Journeyman Mech Designer by MTA

I have chosen to utilize Kirigaya Kazuto's GGO avatar for the appearance it will have all Kirito's sword skills and dual wield  Night Sky Sword and Dark Repulser which symbolizes his experience from SAO to Underworld this design aim to reach the pinnacle for swordsman mech having all Kirito's sword skills and Experience  inside it's x factor most its parts are interchange with Unspecialized as they both run on the same hardware and software but without the flight system, weapon system and skills from the king's avatar

And finally done I have officially become a journeyman for I will take a break and let my employee's to take care of the company while I take a vacation even if I say vacation I will just laze around my home train some mech designers and God Eaters for about a week and play games for about a month because I still need to train them before I take my vacation
