The story of a Comic Book Collector who is brought to a world where he finds out that he is one of the special people who can earn experience and level up to become a superhero.

It was a sunny day in the small town of Whicker Vill , yet though it was bright and happy the people seemed to act as if it was Rainey and gloomy. On a the little block called Partridge Street sat a Comic Book shop in Which nobody visited, accept a young boy named Dusty. Now Dusty was just like his father because he loved to read comic book's, why he loved them so much that he bought comics with his lunch money on his way home from school.  Now there was an old man that ran the comic book shop and he kept that shop opened for many years. Now we follow dusty on his way to the comic book shop to his surprise will find a book that will change his life...

Chapter one
 "YAWN' I wake up in my bed feeling tired and stressed out. I look around for some reason in my head. I'm like " I don't want to start my day. I want to be in bed" but I guess this is the last thing I want to do is WORK but I have to or else I'm going to get bad grades. I try my best to get good grades but the only thing is that even though no matter how much I study i don't get anything.
Hi there my name is I'm JuGyung  and I'm a high schooler. People say i'm ugly and bully me until i saw a post in social media of makeup i tried it and i looked completely different i couldn't believe myself i thought this was a dream. When I went to school with makeup everyone stared at me like for one in my life. I didn't feel invisible when I arrived at my class. All the girls were looking at me and all the boys. I heard whispers that Jugyung they were all surprised i feel uncomfortable and weird for some reason a girl named sua came up to me and said " wow are you really Jugyung the one we know " as time passed time i got used to people asking me for my phone number but i didn't want to be rude and i just said " no " in a nice way and for sure they said it's " okay".

        My mom works and comes late and does dinner. Sometimes I feel lonely and when I try talking to my mom she gets mad or says no to everything I say or doesn't agree with me. Sometimes I burst into tears and rush to my room and jump in bed and start crying feeling that pain in my heart. At night i go to the comic shop when i'm done with dinner it's down the street but at that time i don't wear makeup as i walked in i search for the other series of my book until i found it as i was going to reach out i felt a hand also reaching out i jumped into scared and there was a angry boy with a angry face he took the book that i've been waiting for days well, it always been there but i needed to finish the other book.

       I wake up and the first thing is do my makeup since I started using it it bringed life to my life. It never has been like this. I feel for once I got the opportunity to feel welcome in this world. In the time that i did not know about makeup i saw happy and beautiful women and i will always wonder how it would be i bring up those memories the ones who always make me sad but, i made a decision from now on i'm going to be brave no matter what. I had to get ready for school. I did my makeup fast and put on my uniform " were ready" I said in my head. I saw sua i hugged her when i got to class omg i saw the kid i saw in the comic shop. I was scared in my head there were a lot of questions " What if he recognizes me?" or " if he does then is he going to tell people my real identity?" But, my real question out of all of them is what is he doing with here?. 
      I acted normal. My heart was beating so fast that I couldn't stop. It felt like an alarm that couldn't control itself and ringing all the places it could. I took a deep breath and said " control yourself get it together" I said it in my head so no one can hear me. I was in shock. I thought I was dreaming. Is this a joke? I thought to myself I HAD TO DO A WORK WITH HIM well, thank goodness i had sua and a classmate i acted normal and tried being nice but, he just stared at me with her serious face and i just kept smiling. I knew and I felt something wasn't right.

                I went down the street to the comic shop and then i saw the dude again my heart was beating so fast i ignore him then he picked a book that i didn't liked so i opened my mouth and told him that the book he picked was boring and he just stared at me with his weird and angry face. In my head i was worried and my thoughts were going like crazy but i was like why did i open my big mouth. Then I explained how at first it started good but then it got boring. Then he looked at me with an attitude like I was just saying how it was then he asked me for a suggestion which book he should read. Then i suggest him a book and i hopped he liked it i arrived home and took a shower. I wake up and hear the birds sing with its melody i saw the sunny bright sun shine in my face and seeing trees it feels like nature. I stand up get dressed and do my make up i wish i always had days like this.
     I arrived to school i saw sua i hugged her so tight then i saw suho ( the boy with the angry face that was in the comic shop). My day was normal but just seeing his angry face just looking at me makes it weird and awkward. I went to the comic shop and i saw him like usually and unexpectedly he comes up to me and thanks me for the book and he said it was good i was so shock. But i just said " i knew you will like it" i recommend him another book and he left off. But, then i wonder at school he is just a angry boy with and angry face and in the comic shop he is just nice and kind?? whats going on.

The love comes from the heart not because of someones appearance out side true love comes from who you really are who u really are inside and because of your love everything is possible.

Contrary to what Zeno expected, Adam neither got angry nor backed down. Adam just stares at Zeno with the same dead seriousness the latter has on his face. Fortunately or unfortunately, all the kids had vacated the ground when the bell was rung. So Paul was the only one watching this drama.

"I don't know where you picked up this rashness, but it isn't good to bring it into a battle involving Soul Gifts. You just committed 2 mistakes, for which I gave you apt scores." Adam says with a lack of empathy.

"One, you just ran straight into the opponent  without even knowing anything about his Gift. There are countless types of Soul Gifts in this world in which some of them can be poisonous and some may even be  treacherous. What you did just there was recklessness." 

Truth is, Zeno already knew Paul had a Slingshot as his Gift from 'View' before. However he can't just say that to Adam since it will lead to questions like how do you know it. He was not planning to tell Adam he had awakened his Gift anytime soon. 

"Two, you had no control of your strength. You just went full strength on a young child, even though he is only younger than you by 2 years. If you both were older or if this was a life-death battle, it would have been alright, but at this age it is unacceptable. In a fight, sometimes you should learn to hold back." 

"Honestly 7.5 is not that bad of a score for your case. In Paul's case he took appropriate actions according to his Gift. That is why I gave him a 7. His only mistake was taking his eyes off you, that led ultimately to his failure. If that is understood, don't waste my time and take him to infirmary." 

Saying that, Adam passes by Zeno to exit the ground. However before Adam went out of vision, Zeno manages to take a peak at his stats.

The status menu of Adam vanished when he got out of Zeno's vision. He was planning to take a look at Adam's skill to know what it was. But it seems he has to wait for another opportunity.

'Even now, Adam sensed something when I used the 'View' skill. It would be better not to do this when he knows I am around.'

All these thoughts went through Zeno's head while picking up Paul and carrying him to the infirmary. Similar thoughts were going through Paul's head too at the same time.

'This big bro is a weird nut case. I should never have associated with him in the first place.'

Paul and Zeno walks out the infirmary with the former's red nose back to normal. Paul was worried that he would have to pay for his injury and he didn't have any money with him. He didn't have the guts to ask Zeno since he was a bit intimidated by the guy. Fortunately, the nurse in the infirmary informed them that any injury during Battle Classes were under the expenses of their Academy fees which he had already paid. 

"Why have you become all silent, suddenly? Are you still hung up on me punching you?" 

Zeno asks while walking with Paul towards their homes. Even though this guy is irritating, he was the only one left for conversation since all the kids had left for their homes after the classes. Paul however does not respond even after being asked continuously.

"I was just caught up in the moment, kid. If it's bothering you that much, I will even let you punch me in the face, one time." 

Zeno says giving up. As of this moment, he knows only this guy here other than Adam. He can't afford to waste time to find another guy to help him. Paul as if waiting for the moment grabs the oppurtunity to ask for something else. 

"I don't want to do such a thing. But big bro can do 2 favours for me, instead." 

Truth be told, Paul was only worried about the healing costs all along the way. When the nurse informed him that it was no longer required, his worries were already forgotten. 

Moreover, he didn't have the mindset to hold a grudge against someone for a long time. He is still too young to think like that. However, he was planning to ask for a favour from Zeno. That was why he was silent all along. When Zeno now brought up the topic, he decided to utilise it for his favour.


"What favours?" 
Zeno asks a bit apprehensive because he just felt like he had just walked himself into the brat's trap. But as long it doesn't cost him much, he could make do with it. 


"Today night at 9'o'clock, some of the kids from Outer village including me are planning to go to the Black Forest to hunt a Horned Moon Rabbit. We are a bit short on people. Why don't big bro come and help us out? I can even guarantee you at least one material from the hunt unless its too valuable." 

Paul assures with full confidence. Unlike Zeno, Paul stays in the Outer Village section and must know more about beasts and monsters compared to other kids in the vicinity.

But going for a hunt, especially into the Black Forest is no joke. People easily lose lives there because of a single mistake. But he can't pass up such an opportunity. If he is lucky, he can sell the material he gets to gain some cash for himself. 

"I will be there. What about the second favour?" Zeno asks Paul.

"That is for tomorrow. 
My home is the outer section so I will be on my way. I will see you at that Gate entrance at 9 o'clock then."

Saying so, Paul bids farewell going towards the outer section. Seeing Paul vanish around the corner Zeno then takes a turn in the road to go to his house. 

Truth be told, he was not the fan of the idea of going for a hunt just after a day out of the body cast. But he can't just ignore an oppurtunity of money when it comes knocking into him. However, he needs to prepare himself before going. 

He goes into his house, into his room and gets on his bed to activate his <Trait: Energy Sense>. What he had noticed from Paul's and Adam's status is that Paul didn't possess this trait while Adam possessed it and moreover is at a very higher level than his. This must mean that it must be some sort of an important skill required in Advancing.

But no matter how he tried he could only sense a certain amount of World Energy around him. It was not as easy as before to collect it into his Mindspace. 

The only good news is that he was able to recover the Energy points he had used today within a few minutes. But he could not push beyond that. It seems he missed certain aspects of what he read from the book: Breath Mindfullness Basics. Either he has to seek advice from someone regarding it or try to find it reading again and again.

He takes a look around his bed to notice the two books he had taken from Larry's shelf. He goes upto it, picks up the one he had read before. But even after reading it one more time, it didn't provide him much innovation or idea.

Zeno also approves of the idea and doesn't waste much time before doing it.

'Scan' 

He utters the invoke code in his mind while keeping his hand on the closed book. A ray of blue light similar to that from his holographic screens pass from his hand to the book's exterior into the interior. When he looked at the mirror next to his bed, he couldn't see the reflection of the light thus making an assumption that it isn't visible to others except him.

A notification came up announcing the success of the skill. But he didn't feel any different other feeling one or two of his Energy points being consumed. 


'Profile, take out the book.' 

Zeno commands Profile after swiping away the notification screen. Profile immediately summons the virtual copy of the book, visible only to Zeno in the outside world. Even though Zeno could not feel it, he could interact with it similar to a touch screen. When he tried to make contact with it, a new notification came up surprising him.

Zeno answers without thinking anymore since he understood that this function was related to another of the inbuilt skills provided to him- The Virtual Processor. 


A torrent of information rushed into his brain which was extracted from processing the book in all ways he had not thought before. It seems this skill allows him to learn something which he cannot understand quickly and process the info over and over in various thinking aspects until new innovative ideas spring up. Basically, he can now scan a thing and process it in his mind thus being able to remember everything about it. No matter at what angle he looks at it, this skill in itself is a Godly skill, which is perfect for people who are not that into reading.


This time, he once again tried to activate his Energy Sense and utilise it in ways his brain had come up with. The range of his sense now grew from 1m bit by bit until it reached 3 meters around. 

[Trait: Energy Sense has levelled up.]

There were no further improvement or level ups after that. It might be due to the limit of knowledge that is present in the book. If he can acquire new books about this Energy Sense, he might be able to level it up continuously. For the time being, he should be satisfied with what he has. 


He turned his attention towards the other book and scanned it making a copy of it in his virtual library.

"What? You don't want it? Then return to me." Xiao Xiao did not anticipate Bai Wu's reaction and reached out to take it back.
Bai Wu hid the book behind his back with a reddened face and said softly with his head lowered, "I want!"
"If you have any queries, just search it online. They have very detailed explanations."
"Uhm," Bai Wu answered softly, where his ears were so red that as if it was gonna bleed.

Upon arriving at the inn Paul asked Hilda about a place where she could buy the necessary things for a trip around the snowy forest, unfortunately, Hilda did not have much idea about the things she needs to buy for a trip but she still indicated the way to reach the commercial street of the city.
Nodding and quickly thanking Paul and Jack, they left the inn in the direction Hilda indicated.

After searching for a while he couldn't find anything so he asked the employee.- Can you show me the necessary items to make the trip to the snowy forest? -
Hearing his question, the employee nodded and began to speak - of course, to make a trip to that place, the first thing you should buy is an outfit suitable for that, I recommend buying the outfit made with polar bear skin, this suit is engraved with runes against low-level cold and the polar bear's skin is very thick so it will give you a great defense-

Though disappointed at how expensive the object is, Paul nodded at the employee's question.
Seeing the assent, the employee continued - so if you manage to enter one of those schools, chances are they will give you one if you manage to enter among the best - the employee finished.
Hearing that Paul was excited and thought that his probability of having one was high, after all, he is going to the school of the black tiger where only the elites enter so it was likely that everyone in that school had their object to measure your stats.

If I don't count the registration and if we add it with what I took from those people, then I would have a total of 180 gold and if we subtract what I have spent so far and buy them today then I would have 64 gold coins and 5 silver, I think that will be enough for the rest of the trip -

The employee attended and left for the back of the store.
Strange sounds were heard before the employee returned with all the things he had asked for.
 -Well here you have your purchases, they are 113 gold coins- said the employee while handing the items to Paul.
 Paul attended and paid the exact amount of coins and started going through his things.
The outfit was really simple, it had gray fitted pants and long sleeve shirt with some of the leopard fur around the neck, arms, and legs, some boots that looked sturdy, a hood made with the fur of the leopard and finally a layer that covered it entirely.
The collar was just that, a collar.
The basic kit brought things like dry food, a knife, a lighter, a compass, and a map of the forest.
Satisfied with his purchases, Paul thanked the clerk and left the store for the inn.

After arriving at the inn, Paul decided not to leave immediately and stayed the remaining 8 days of his license to practice magic and the sword along with Jack.

"Annie! Is nice to see you. You look even better than the last time we met" A middle aged guy greeted my mother once we entered his office.  

"Oh Clark stop with your lies" My mother replied playfully. It was clear that the both of them were friends, or in really good terms at the very least. 

"And you must be the young genius I been hearing about... Mister Sam Bane" He said amicably, and then he offered me his hand to shake "I'm Clarke Cook, it's a pleasure to meet you" 

"Good day to you sir" I shook his hand firmly. Or with the most strength my seven year old self could muster. 

After the short interaction, I finally could relax a bit. For some reason, ever since yesterday night I was really nervous about this reunion. I guess that I really wanted for it to work out. 

"Take a sit please" He said after a while, with a never ending smile on his face. 

His office was a mess. I could tell that he worked hard, if the multiple papers all over his desk, and the big bags under his eyes were any indication. Still, it didn't gave much confidence on his organizational skills. 

"Thanks Clark" My mother replied. And before I could notice the mood changed. It was like the both of them went from normal mode to business mode, in just second. 

Before coming here, my mother just told me to let her negotiate in my behalf. And I planned to do exactly that, especially now with the professional aura she inspires. 

"Well, let's start with the book composition first" said Clark, "Annie, like you already know, I like the three stories you've sent me last week. They appeal to a younger demographic, which is  a group that is gaining traction lately. Although I have to say that these stories are too short to be released as books on their own. So, I propose to compile them. I think five stories could make a good sized book" 

It was reasonable. My stories were a little too short. I could've done them longer, but I wanted to keep them simple, considering that the target readers would be mostly kids. 

"That's a good idea. Although I think that the stories should have a common theme between them. For example, a book collection could be about princesses. Sam here has written about ten stories about princesses, so it shouldn't be a problem, right Sam?" My mother said, and tactfully helped me to get into the conversation. 

"Yes, there's no problem with that" I said calmly. Mr. Clark finally looked at me after that. He looked interested with that bit of news. 

"That sounds good to me. I'll need to read the five stories you plan to publish, so we can progress any further... But in an act of good faith of Sam's work, we can talk about the details of the deal we will be making" 

"What do you propose then?" Mother asked. 

He looked at me for a second before concentrating on my mother once again. Then, he brought up a paper he had at the only clear zone of his desktop, and passed it out to my mom. 

The contract I assume. I planned to read it on my own when my mother finishes it, but I couldn't help to look at her to see if I could get any information from her face expressions. Which ended up being a pointless endeavor. 

"Ha!" She exclaimed "I see your intentions Clark. If this is how it will be, let's stop here. We'll take our leave" My mother finally said. And then stood up from her seat and walked to the exit. 

I could only guess what unreasonable things were written on there. So for now I just followed her up. Although for some reason I felt that this wasn't the end of the discussion. 

"Wait!" Clark finally said, "I admit the contract may be a little unfair, but we can discuss it, no need to go away just like that" 

My mother turned back with a smirk on her face, "I'm surprised, I've heard a little about your situation Clark. But now with you flinching so quick, I'm wondering of how bad it really is" 

To my surprise it seems that we were not in the losing end of the negotiations to begin with. My mother really played him hard. Clark's face said all I wanted to know. He was mad, but he still stayed quiet about it. 

"Yeah, it's true. We are in need of a success, and that's the principal reason to even consider to publish a kid's book, besides the publicity within itself that it could generate" He admitted. 

"I've heard that all the upcoming writers choose to go with other companies, after all you've had a bad record in the last five years" My mother added while the both of us took a seat once again. 

"You really did your research, huh?" he said with a defeated look. "... I wanted to start my own comic book company, but at the end all the good artists preferred to go with either 'power comics' or 'marvelous', and before I realized, the book company I had spent so many years to build up, was on his way to bankruptcy" 

It was kind of a sad story, but also an amazing opportunity. If I played my cards right, maybe making my own comics wasn't impossible for me in the near future. 

"So, in your times of need you thought on cheating your good friend of so many years" Mother said while making 'tsk' noises, pointing the bad deed Clark has made, "Sam is young, so there will be no problem if he waits a couple of years to get published... So now I wonder, what deal could you offer us, so we can even consider making a deal with you" 

Clark clenched his jaw at that, and had a serious expression on his face. He kept quiet though, it seemed that he was seriously considering the matter. 

"What do you want?" He finally asked. 

"Twenty percent, and the rights will belong to him completely" Mother demanded. 

That was a extremely good deal, especially for a newcomer like me, asking for that much was out of my expectations.

"That's... acceptable. But Sam will have to publish at least four books with us" He countered. 

"Are you joking? Two is the most we are going to concede" Mother said with displeasure. 

That was something we had talked about before. If I was successful enough, I could go with a bigger publishing company in the future. And my mother had a high faith on my success for some reason. 

Now there was a clear disagreement between them. I honestly couldn't care less if I had to write four books for this company, with the new deal offered I would have no complaints. But I knew what I wanted. 

"How about I do publish four books, but you'll have to publish a comicbook of mine... With the same conditions as the one with the books" I interrupted them. 

The both of them stared at me with surprised faces. "What do you mean?" Clark asked after a while. 

"Well... I have this idea for a comic, and I felt compelled to do it after I heard that you own a comic company" I explained. 

"Are you talking about the one you've made with Hanna?" Mother asked me with a worried face. It was clear that she thought that it wasn't that great. 

It wasn't a bad comic per se, but I do agree that it isn't the kind of comic that sells well with the masses, nor profesional enough to be a comic on his own. But I'm aware which comics are the best sellers at this era, compared to my old reality.   

"No" I said, before Clark could have asked about it, "I have an idea for a superhero comic, but I don't have the talent to draw. So I thought it was a good compromise that if my books are successful enough, Mister Clark will hire an artist to draw my comic, and then he'll publish it" 

"That's interesting. What do you think Clark?" Mother asked with a simple smile on her face.  

This wasn't something we had discussed before, so I was relieved that she just went along with the idea. 

Clark just sighed and nodded with a smile of his own. Even if he tried to hide it, I could see that he was happy about the deal. In the end, he wanted both of his companies to succeed, and now there was a chance for it to be possible.

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success. 

The concept of the story has inspiration in "I'm really a super star", but it's nothing alike.

"It really suits you!" stated Matt


"Shut up! I know what you are thinking about" Wade stated.


"I know it would be weird if you didn't know, since breaking the fourth wall is one of your abilities as well right  Deadpool!" Matt said with a smirk.


"Those Comic bastards! They used my name on the most hateful character, Don't call me with that name. I already filed a complaint in the Court regarding this as many have started to call me with that nickname  but it wasn't helpful and now even you are starting to talk about it." Wade said.


"Hahaha... sorry but what can I do, I tried and didn't say when I got to know about your name but now even your ability is the same as him so I couldn't help but speak about it and yes it's true that you were born much earlier than him but he is much more famous than you so it's obvious that everyone will think you changed your name to his hence the reactions," Matt explained his reason for the teasing as he didn't want Wade to fall out with him due to this.


"Hmnp" Wade released a grunt and turned his head not looking at Matt anymore.


"Well, jokes aside your ability is really great as well. It may not look much right now since it may be minor healing only but if the ability continues to grow than it may really match up to Deadpool's healing one day" Matt stated as he turned his head to look at his father who was waiting for him.


"Dad what ability did yo-"


"Matt! my son is not responding and neither is Ethan" before Matt could ask his father about his ability he was interrupted by Jacob who was sitting beside his son.

Matt turned his head as he looked towards Mike and Ethan sitting in trance not responding to the calls of Jacob and understood at once what was happening.

"Don't touch them and don't disturb them. They are most likely going through some sort of transformation after eating the black bear's meat for the second time and with this their ability may grow further" Matt stated stopping Jacob from shaking his son and destroying his chance from entering the second level of Neo Human.

"Second time! I just got my ability and they are already entering the second level?" Paul said standing up after regaining some of his strength.

"Don't feel stumped I gained my ability much earlier than them but here they are leaving even me behind?" Matt said casually though in his mind there was a storm raging on 'How could they enter the second level even if they were dead tired this shouldn't happen, they used level 3 meat to gain their ability and even if they can enter the second level it should be only possible after a large consumption of level 3 meat or small consumption of level 4 meat but here they are transforming after only eating a small chunk of meat.'

Looking at his old best friend and a new friend Matt couldn't help but sigh 'It's clear that their exhaustion triggered the transformation of their ability to enter the second level but eve if they extract all the energy from the level 3 meat it wouldn't be enough spirit to fully enter the second level. Tch.... had I known about it I would have given more meat.'

"Oh, Father you haven't told us what ability you gained," asked Paul since Matt was busy thinking for a solution helpful for Mike and Ethan.

"Mine is nothing fancy it's just a support ability that's all. I release a kind of energy around myself and help others to regain their energy by losing mine" Jonathan stated and was going to show it to him but before he could Matt grabbed on to his shoulders stopping him from doing something like that.

When Matt heard about his father's ability he couldn't help but smile and had already thought the best use of it, hence he stopped his father at once not allowing him to showcase his ability like that.

"Don't waste your ability like that we may need it right now!" Matt stated

"What!?" asked Jonathan is surprised as he didn't think his help would be needed even after he gained such an ability.

"Yes! I don't think that Mike and Ethan have enough energy to pass through the threshold of the 1st level and enter the 2nd level so we may need your ability to help them for that," explained Matt.

"How can you know about it!?" asked Wade.

"Because I didn't entered the second level for the same reason and stopped just before entering it!" Matt replied with a simple lie without stopping for a second making everyone believe what he said must be true.

"What can I do to help?" asked Jonathan.

"Well, it would have been helpful if we knew how your ability works and how many times you can use it or for how long you can use it. But we can't know about those things until you use it fist so tell me whatever you presently know about your ability?" Matt asked

"Well the range of my ability is 10 meters around me in a circle but I can't control it so whoever is within 10 meters of me would be able to get the benefit from it. Other than that I don't know anything else about my ability" replied Jonathan

"OK then everyone let's move 10 meters away from my dad, we don't know if he will lose his ability much faster if there are more people or not," Matt said to Wade, Jacob, and Paul who nodded their head and walked away from them and only stopped after 15 meters just to be sure that they don't destroy Mike and Ethan's chance.

"Dad please stand beside Mike & Ethan. After I give you the signal, you will use your ability and will continue to do so until you aren't able to use it we must make sure that they get all the help they can" Matt stated.

"Don't worry son I will do everything I can" Jonathan said.

"Good," Matt said after which he walked away moving towards where Paul and the others were standing, 

'This is all I can do to help you the rest is up to you guys'

Mathew Smith got a second chance to protect the ones he couldn't and survive the apocalyptic world. Will he be successful in this endeavor of his or will he die again unable to protect his loved ones!? *Ding* [Survival System Activated]

Arthur patted Paul's head again and asked "What can you do except manipulating water? And how can you speak with me?"

Paul raised it's tentacles in what seemed to be excitement and replied "Mom told me I can move things with my mind, and also talk to people if I want. She said it was the power of the Kraken."

Arthur frowned and asked "Isn't the power of the Kraken manipulating water?" Paul replied "No, mom used her mind to move the water, but she couldn't move water in itself. Mom said only I can move water because the sea likes me better than Poseidon."

Arthur nodded and asked "You sure you want to follow me?" Paul nodded, and Arthur said "You don't seem that much affected by what happened to your mother. Aren't you sad?"

Instead of the sad answer he expected, Arthur heard a giggling in his mind "You silly!" Arthur tilted his head and Paul said "At the time they give birth, Krakens, like octopuses, will only live for a short time. So even if that old man didn't attack, she would have died not long after."

Arthur smiled and asked "Then how do you feel about Poseidon?" Paul sneered "I'm going to kill him and claim the center of the seas and oceans, Atlantis."

Arthur laughed and said "You know it's not something easy." Paul replied "If mom hadn't been weakened from giving birth she could have beaten him."

Arthur stopped laughing and said "If she was stronger, I guess she didn't attack because of the other gods?" Paul replied "Yes. If she attacked, first Atlantis is well protected. And even if she successfully claimed Atlantis as her own, she would have the whole Olympia attacking her."

Arthur sighed and said "Then you picked the right person. I have a goal, and the gods will do whatever it takes to stop me, so I am fated to fight them. And not just Olympia, even the other pantheons. So, if you are scared you might as well leave right now."

Paul suddenly began hovering above Arthur, and then sat on top of Arthur's head and said "What do we do then?"

Arthur smiled and said "We need to go to Greenland. Do you know where it is?" Paul nodded so Arthur added "Then help the ship go there."

After he said that, the ship suddenly accelerated, the water around it was pushing it toward Greenland.

Arthur sat down and closed his eyes, after saying "Paul, I'm going to sleep. Wake me up if there's something important."

Paul nodded, and Arthur tried to fall asleep. He told Paul to wake him up as the time he spent sleeping wouldn't influence the time he would spend talking to Merlin. Whether he slept one hour or 14 hours, he would always spend 12 hours with Merlin.

Of course there was a limit as he could only go there once every 24 hours.

Arthur's mind drifted off, his body rocked by the waves.

Arthur opened his eyes, and he found himself in the same stone house as always. There, sitting on the same chair, was his master, Merlin, reading a book.

The latter closed his book and looked at Arthur and asked "Ready for today's lesson?" Arthur created a chair and sat on it before saying "I have discovered something strange today."

Merlin raised an eyebrow and asked "What is it?" Arthur moved his hand, and Paul appeared in front of him. It was an illusion of course, but it wasn't created through Light. He had modified the dimension itself to create a life replica of Paul, except that it didn't have either intelligence or conscience.

Merlin's eyes grew wide and he suddenly got up "Is this what I think?!" Arthur nodded "Yes, this is Paul, my new pet, a baby Kraken. It is attuned to Water. I felt it. Which brings my question, why don't I feel you the same way as I do feel him?"

Merlin shook his head repeatedly and went to his bookcase as he replied "I'm dead so nature rejected my soul. As you know this is a part of my soul, but because the elements no longer recognize me you can't sense me."

Arthur frowned and said "I though this was a separate dimension, shouldn't your death not affect this place?"

Merlin shook his head and replied "No, you don't understand. Nature isn't unique to your world, it is omnipresent. It exists everywhere, and it is the same entity. To create a dimension outside of Nature… I can't say it is impossible as I believe everything is possible, but the power needed to create something like that would be astonishingly high. That's something that could only be done by an entity similar to an absolute god ruling over Nature itself, meaning ruling over everything that exists."

Arthur tilted his head and asked "Then doesn't that mean it can only be done by the strongest?" Merlin shook his head and replied "I don't know, but theoretically there should be a stronger stage than that."

Arthur frowned and said "What is more powerful than ruling over everything that exists?"

Merlin took out a book and said "Basic physique law. In the universe, nothing can be destroyed or created, only transformed. This is the limit of ruling over what exists. The next stage would be to also rule over what doesn't exist. Then, and only then, would someone really become the strongest. They would be able to do literally everything."

Arthur rolled his eyes and said "Then it means there will be a first one, but after that no one else will be able to ascend as one." Merlin nodded and said "Not necessarily. Someone that powerful would be beyond omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. So they would know every possible future, so they can manipulate everything."

Arthur asked "Then do you think there exists one?" Merlin shook his head and said "Although a power like this is the theoretical strongest there is, it's very own existence goes against existence and nonexistence."

Arthur asked "Why so?" Merlin searched through the pages of the book and said "Because it would become a perfect being, but that would bring him not being perfect anymore. Perfection is an ideal that everyone dream about, but that can't be reached, no matter how much power you wield. Moreover sometime being perfect can sometime need you to be flawed, but that would make you not perfect anymore. Ah, here it is."

Merlin handed the book to Arthur and said "I heard of a legend while in a ruin. Normally there can't be more than one attuned individual at a time, except for one moment. The end of times. The legend was precisely about the end of time. It is said that 5 attuned ones would be born and at that time, the end of times would begin. The five shall fight for supremacy, until one of them stands supreme. But the supreme would then trigger the end of times."

Arthur frowned and asked "How reliable is this?" Merlin replied with certainty "100%. I found this in a ruin belonging to our ancestors."

Arthur sighed "So this means one of us is going to end times. Can it be stopped?" Merlin shrugged and said "What tells you the end of times is a bad thing? Who knows, it may actually be a good thing."

Arthur Holly fell asleep like any other day. And he woke up like any other day. Except that he didn't wake up in his own body, but in a three years old one.

Arthur transmigrated into what seemed to be the same world he previously lived in, except in the past, before he was even born.

But everything changed the day of his fourth birthday.

I Came back with the food but you were fast asleep so I give you my hoodie to keep you warm and also I left you the food I got you and also don't worry about giving me the money for the food and also I don't normally  say this to anyone but thanks for keeping me company.

Next Day:
Kai- Crap Crap Crap Going to be late again.
(As am Walking to college a car stops next to me and Kara gets out of the car)

Kai- how was your Night?
Kara- it was good what about you?
Kai- It was okay just listen to music and played some cared games on my computer. OH, Its alis and Nero. Yo Guys.
Alis/Nero- Yo/Hi Kai, wait wait wait what is Kara doing with Kai?
Kai- ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE GUY'S!!!!
Alis- Reallllyyyyyyy Kai Then why is she… wait where did sheee go. (she turns around and am gone to) and Kai is gone to.
Alis- KAI GET BACK HERE YOU ASSHOLE.
(Alis walks into the classroom and see me in the room before her)
Alis- Kai you're here what is going on today?
Kai- Nothing is going on (Kara walks in after alis and sit's next to me)
Kara- Hi Everyone what are we doing in art class today?
Kai- did you bring my hoodie today??
Kara- No sorry I forgot
Kai- Its okay just bring it in tomorrow then.
(after the lesson end's I get up and walk to the lunch hall to find Nero to see if he has this new game that he was telling me about.)
Kai- Yo Nero you here... I guess not
(I wonder where he went)
Kai- well I'll go to the comic book shop then.
(I walk into the comic book shop and see that zeke has banish up his arm)
Kai- Zeke what happen to your arm??
Zeke- Don't worry dude just cut my arm open so I had to go to the hospital about it just have to change it every two hours to keep it clean.
(about four hours went past and guess who come's looking for me Alis of Couse)
Alis- Kai do you want to walk home with me and Nero.
Kai- yeah why not. Yo zeke I'll see you on Xbox later dude.
Zeke- Yeah dude.
(as me and the others walking home. my head start to feel funny. So, I stop for a minute to catch my breath.)
Alis- KAI YOU OKAY!!?
Kai- Am okay I just need some water.
Nero- Here you go Kai.
(I take a drink and I start to feel a lot better)

Nero- No Problem
(We walk for about 10 minutes)
Kai- well Guys I'll be going this way to the shop to get food.
Alis- No you will be going to our house for food. I've already told my mam that you are coming with us.

Alis- Yeah, No Problem
(So, we walk to alis house)
Alis- Mam we are home and Kai is with us to.
Miss Kensae- Welcome home Everyone.
Kai- Hello Ms K
Miss Kensae- Hello Kai you grown up a lot since that day and you look a lot like him you know kai.
Kai- You mean my dad and I know I should of came around a lot more when my parents died. Im sorry I didn't. (I bow my head down to show that I was sorry.)

(well after we eater food alis and Nero were playing that carded game that I make from like 3 years go)

Alis- I really think you should try and make an updated version of the game with new monster and etc
Nero- I agree with alis and make legendary cards to.

(well we played this game for hours then I realised what time it was)
Kai- Well I think I should get going thanks for the food ms'K.

Alis- I'll walk you halfway kai

(alis looks at me with a smile on her and laughs at me.)

( I walk for about 10 minutes and I started to feel like am being followed for some reason)
Kai- Alright whoever you are come out now!!!????
Unknown Person- How did you know I was there??
Kai- you think I wouldn't notice someone trying to follow me. Hahaha
Kai- well I don't care who you are im out of here.
(as I turn around to go home I fall to the floor I see blood running down my head  as this happens my phone start to ring and just a  everything start to fated black I manage to answer it )
Alis and Kara- Kai you done the art work…
Unknown guys- that's it kick him till he can't get up hahah.
Both of them- KAI KAI WHAT GOING ON KAIIIIIII!!!!!
( I hear people talking and I hear the fate Nosie of alis and Kara. The last words I remember saying is well shit hehe)
Alis- you idiot.
Kara- why didn't he call us early.
( I fell a breeze on my face and the smell of flowers. I start to wake up and I see blurs)
Kai- Where. Where I'm I.
Both of them- KAIIII your awake.
Kai- Heyy you guys
Both of them- Kai you feeling okay
Kai- I feel okay.
Alis- you remember what happen to you kai.
Kai- Yeah I remember what happen.
Alis- who would do that?
Kara- It must have been someone who hates Kai?
(I look about and I see that my hands are covered in bandages and half of my face is to I try to move around)
Kara- stop kai you need to rest up.
Alis- Kai what do you remember?
Kai- Well I remember that the guy who attacked me was talking about my past about the old me who use to be a pro manga artist and im the reason he lost a lot of money for working with the other artist who I was  competing against.
Kara- Wait you use to draw manga?
Kai- Yeah I was really go at it?
Kara- What was your pen name Kai?
Kai- Well I went by Kaijin back then.
Alis- Still can't believe that you just added Jin to the end of your first name Kai.
Kai- Yeah I wasn't very good with coming up with names.
Kara- Wait minute you're the Kaijin who release the top manga at the time the marked ones?
Kai- Yeah that's me
Kara- I'm friends with the Kaijin
Kai- Kara  im not that Kaijin anymore. I haven't drawn in like 5 years.
Alis- Well I think we should get going  Kara so Kai can get some more rest.
Kara- Yeah your right well Kai we will see you tomorrow.
Kai- Yeah no problem get home safe you guys.
Both of them- We will.
(After kara and alis leaves I look at my hands and I see that the guys who attack me messed up my left hand not my right hand them hand that I use to draw the manga hahah what assholes.)
Six Days Go By:
Alis- Morning Kara
Kara- Morning Alis you hear that Kai is getting discharge from the hospital  today.
Alis- I Know I can't wait to see him. Do you think he'll come to college today?
Kara- I think he might go to the comic book shop instead of college.
(everyone goes to the class room and as everyone walks in to the class room they notice Kai is not there)
Kara- it looks like I was right Kai is at the comic book shop.
Alis- well I've texted Zeke to see if Kai is there.
(Lunch Time)
Alis- Kara you want to come with me to see if Kai is at the comic book shop?
Kara- Yeah I'll come with you.
(Kara and alis head to the comic book shop to see if kai is there but what they find instead is a lot different)
Alis- Zeke have you seen Kai today.
Zeke- Oh I guess the hospital  didn't ring you then.
Alis- why what's happen to kai?
Zeke- He got rust in the surgery.
Both of them- WHAT WHAT DO YOU MEAN???
Zeke- Kai had to get surgery on his lower back as the doctor found out that his spine is  a little bit damaged but they said don't worry he should be okay.
Alis- Kai I Hope you are okay.
(next minute Kara runs out of the comic book shop with tears in her eyes what is she think right now)
Doctor- okay Kai you ready to begin the surgery??
Kai-(Takes in deep breath) Yeah Doctor  I'm ready now.
(I feel the anaesthesia working  and everything starts to go black. I wonder if the others will be mad at me because I didn't tell them about this.)
