Shiksha Jerath: I never skipped classes until I completed my high school. I even got an award for three years in running for never taking a single leave throughout the year.

Shiksha Jerath: And then the fourth year I feel so ill that I skipped school for a full 20 days.

Sleepteddy: I only started skipping after i was sure my mother wouldn't get wind of it.

Shiksha Jerath: Haha. Na I only ever skipped a handful of lectures whole I was doing my bachelors and masters. Though in college none of the proofs paid much attention to it but I was a goody goody two shoes.

Hello! Good day/eve to all of you. It's time for me to say my excuses for not updating WWCG for a long time. 

*cough cough*

Well, the first reason is because I joined a writing prompt contest and I don't trust myself "not to advertise and ask for votes" here in WWCG. 

After the contest ended… I did a bit of soul searching. I asked myself, what do I really want to do? My answer was simple. I want to be a better writer.

I then decided to take a one month break from writing WWCG and focus on reading reference books on how to "properly write" a story. I learned a lot, and after reading all those resource materials, I came to the realization that my writing style was "trashier" than I initially expected.

It hurts, but it was the truth. I'm currently changing my writing style to make it more "proper", but it's hard when old habits kick in. However, all was not wasted. I don't need to compare myself to others, because I know that doing so will only make me feel inferior.

I've re-read my first few chapters and cringed. Then I read more and cringed more to the point that I realized how much I improved. *AHEM!*

New authors focus more on getting views, comments, reviews, and collections. They set their expectations and when these "expectations" are not met… they feel bad. 

Sometimes, it gets to the point that they drop/abandon their story altogether. There is no right or wrong way on how to do this. I still don't have the qualifications to teach you on how you can increase your views, comments, and collections.

Still, I think that improving yourself is much more "fulfilling" than mere wish fulfillment. I'm going to share with all of you the tools I've learned from this one month of Soul Searching and if you really want to improve, please do try these resource materials.

Murakami gave me this Epub file called "Descriptions - Monica Wood." It covers a lot of things and for new authors, this is a powerful tool that will help you understand some of the things that "you don't know that you don't know." You can read this file by installing Epub Reader on your devices or desktop.

Another advice for discovery writers. I am, or rather was a discovery writer. I understand the fun of discovery writing, but also understood its limitations. Writing blindly, a chapter day after day , even if you have some sort of idea where the story is headed will only lead to a WALL/BLOCK in the long run.

Please, don't argue with me for now and continue to read. Even if you had the story laid out on your head, it still won't make your story coherent and the foundations you think you have is non-existent.

So, the next resource material that I am going to share with you is how to "plot your story/outline very fast." Don't underestimate this resource material, because it may be the answer to ALL OF YOUR PLOTTING/OUTLINING PROBLEMS. 

This technique was so effective that I was able to plot my 2 novels in less than an hour. Hah? You think I'm joking? A friend of mine also thought the same, but when I gave him this reference material all he was able to say was "Paternal Grandmother…"

Without further ado, go to "Youtube" and search for "How to Plot Your Novel FAST by Ellen Brock." Please, watch until the end of the video. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Ellen Brock is an editor and her advice when it comes to story writing may come in handy.

If you think, you're good enough already feel free to ignore these reference materials. However, if you want to improve, for yourself and not for other people then by all means give these resources a chance.

I may not be able to update WWCG on a regular basis, because I'm still learning and looking for better resource materials that will help my growth as a writer. If I find anything noteworthy, I will also share these materials with you. 

Even with all the things I learned and currently learning; I decided not to edit the first few chapters of WWCG. I want it to serve as a lesson to me, and a constant reminder that everything starts with the first step. No matter how small, silly, inexperienced, clumsy it may be, the first step must be taken in order to move forward.

"Why?" Hearing her answer, Jin Xiangdong gave a faint smile.
"Because you hadn't met me." Lu Jia'er smiled as she answered.
Hearing this, Jin Xiangdong could not help himself as he reached out and stroked Lu Jia'er's head. 
Lu Jia'er met Su Han downstairs and they took their own suitcases into the elevator.
There were only two of them in the elevator. Lu Jia'er took a glance at Su Han and broke the silence. "Jason moved quite fast. Where is your reserved disposition?"
"Even if I have lost my reserved disposition, Jason is the one who courted me. Moreover, he is currently under a trial period." Su Han retorted.
"Trial period?" Lu Jia'er could not help but take her hat off to those romance novel writers. Su Han had so many fancy ideas when it came to love.
"What's wrong?" Su Han raised her brow.
"Whatever you say is alright." At this time, the door of the elevator opened and Lu Jia'er did not speak further.

"Is Amy out of battery?" Not getting a response from Amy, Su Han tried to guess.
"That's possible." Lu Jia'er walked to the living room as she said.
However, after checking the living room, dining area, bedroom and kitchen, Amy was nowhere to be found..
"Amy is missing!" Su Han said anxiously.
"What had happened? Is Amy really lost? Did someone break in?" Lu Jia'er checked all over again. 
"Call the police!" Su Han flew into a great panic.
Lu Jia'er's gaze swept past the surroundings. Everything in the house was clean and neat. She reached out and touched the table and found it was dust free. In other words, Amy was still at home this morning.
"Did it go out on its own?" Lu Jia'er guessed.
"That's impossible, I have never taken Amy out before." Su Han shook her head. After all, the time she spent at home was far more than Lu Jia'er and naturally, she knew Amy better.
"Let me check with Ace whether Amy had a positioning system!" Lu Jia'er was still sensible and quickly took out her phone and gave Jin Xiangdong a call.
"Hurry up!" Su Han urged.
Lu Jia'er took a glimpse at Su Han, her eyes were reddened.
"Ace said that Amy has a positioning system. I am going to download the official software."After talking to Jin Xiangdong for a while, Lu Jia'er hung up the phone.
Just as Lu Jia'er was downloading the software, the door cracked open.

"Playing downstairs? Since when do you know how to get downstairs on your own?" Su Han lectured Amy as if a mother who had lost her child.
"I am not sure since when I knew it." Amy blinked its eyes again with an innocent look.
Seeing Amy's return, Lu Jia'er breathed a sigh of relief. After lecturing Amy for a while, Su Han brought it to the living room and took out a gift.
However, Lu Jia'er's heart was filled with mixed feelings. How could Amy get downstairs itself?
"How was the positioning?" Not long after, Jin Xiangdong called.
"Amy is back." Leaning back in the chair, Lu Jia'er said as she watched Su Han handed Amy a gift.
"What do you mean?" Jin Xiangdong was curious.
"Amy that said it was playing downstairs just now." Lu Jia'er told him the truth.
"It went downstairs? I am going to your house now. Wait for me." Jin Xiangdong was getting more and more curious.

"Alright." Lu Jia'er nodded.
In fact, Amy should never leave the house on its own again. Su Han had nearly lost her mind and her eyes were reddened as if she lost her own child.

"Idiot!" Ko Gohon was greatly enraged and pushed the bodyguard to the ground. Then, he clasped his chest and stumbled to the sofa and sat down, dispiritedly saying, "This Hong Dali, what is he exactly… Damn it, why does everything that he does become so popular?! Why? Why?!"
After all, Ko Gohon wasn't a fool. He knew very clearly what it meant for the number of installations to pass the 10 million mark just after it was launched.
Though he wasn't very familiar with online novel websites, he at least understood one thing—this time, Hong Dali had grabbed the opportunity again. More than 10 million installations meant more than 10 million independent IP visits, and it totally couldn't be compared with the previous 3 million! 
What a pity he'd just invested 200 million and was planning to strike him down at one go. Alas, the 200 million had been thrown into the water without even a ripple being observed. And this lake water had turned from water to ice, completely frozen, definitely without even a hint of the money invested being seen…
As expected, after the bodyguard said this, he added, "Now the authors we poached can't stand it anymore and all want to go back there. Young Master, if they write a few hundred thousand words and just stop writing, or leave a lousy ending and just leave, the credibility of our website would be completely lost. To the authors, the flat fee did seem very nice. But that still couldn't be compared to the earnings from Zhong Dian website that had experienced a rapid increase of threefold of site traffic. Previously, they earned approximately 20 to 30 yuan per 1,000 words at Zhong Dian website. But now that there was the linking of the data from the smartphone reading app, the subscriptions would instantly increase by five to ten folds. And most importantly, the prospects were much better than writing at their site.
"No! No! I can't let this go, definitely can't!" After a short period of daze, what followed right after was absolute madness! Ko Gohon had always thought very highly of himself, so how was it possible that he'd just admit defeat like that? Thus, after he calmed down, Ko Gohon fiercely said, "Increase the writers' payment by 50%! This time, though Hong Dali is in the lead, even if I have to throw in money, I want to throw it till he collapses to the ground!"
"OK!" The bodyguard instantly replied.
"Also!" Ko Gohon continued, "Go and contact the software manufacturing company right away. Since he's made a smartphone reading app, we'll launch a reading software as well, called Fengyun Reads. Then, relay my instructions that whoever installs Fengyun Reads will be rewarded! I don't believe it. So what if he has good ideas? Even if I throw in money, I'll throw it till you die!"
"Yes!" The bodyguard instantly went out.
"Damn it, I don't believe Hong Dali can win me every single time, definitely don't!" Ko Gohon paced back and forth in his room. Just as he was still feeling dispirited, suddenly, his phone rang. Ko Gohon picked it up. It was an unknown number. He said harshly, "I'm not free now! Talk later if there's anything!"
"Gosh, Young Master Gohon, you're so busy?" Hong Dali's annoying voice sounded. "You aren't thinking of going back on your words, right?"
"Go back on my words? Go back on what words?" Ko Gohon angrily said, "I, Ko Gohon, never go back on my words!"
"Oh, a few days ago, didn't you say you still wanted to bet?" Hong Dali grinned, but what he said wasn't as pleasing to the ears. "I was thinking that it should be the online novel website's turn, but this time, it looks like I've won again. Um, those 50 Prime Minister Grade limousines, when are you going to give them to me?"
"Idiot!" Ko Gohon was furious as he screamed, "When did I say that…"
Alas, before he finished speaking, he heard Hong Dali curiously asking, "You haven't? That's weird. Then who was the one that said that in the audio recording in my phone? He clearly said that this time, we'd place a bet of 50 million. En, right, you were the one who said 'This time, I want to place a 50 million bet!', then I said 'I'm not interested in betting'. Actually, I was thinking that it wasn't very nice to win your cars like that. But alas, you said 'Rascal, you dare to look down on me!' and then 'I want to place a 50 million bet with you! 50 million!'."
Hong Dali mimicked Ko Gohon's voice very animatedly, and laughter sounded in the background from time to time.
"It's like this." And then, this fellow who couldn't wait to get bashed up for a hundred times continued, "Aiya, as the saying goes, if you're willing to bet, you should be willing to admit defeat… Forget it, it's really boring playing with such a retarded and untrustworthy fellow. Since Young Master Gohon doesn't have the courage to bet with me anymore, then forget it…"
"We'll bet then, but this time, don't be happy too early." Ko Gohon loudly said, "You haven't won yet, and I'll definitely not admit that you've won! This is just the first day, we'll wait and see!"
"Oh… Actually, I was just casually saying it." Hong Dali's voice was really infuriating. "Actually, if you don't admit it, then it's fine. Anyway, since the start, I never planned to bet on this…"
Ko Gohon berated, "Bet! We must bet! Hong Dali, you just wait! I, Ko Gohon, never go back on my words! If I say that I'm betting, I'm betting!"
"Really! Then OK…" Hong Dali calmly said, "But it has to have a time period. This thing doesn't look like it'll produce effects in the short run. Most importantly, it's how we determine whether it's a win or loss…"
"Two weeks!" Ko Gohon shouted. "Two weeks later, we'll see whose amount of updated works on our website is the highest! The person with the most number of books updated within three days wins!"
"Alright then… Honestly, why do you like gambling so much? I hate gamblers." Hong Dali's tone was as if he were asking an old friend how he was doing. "Oh right, Young Master Gohon, have your bodyguards recovered from their injuries yet? The previous time, Sister Xiaoyi and the other two didn't really control their strengths well, and I didn't expect for your bodyguards to be so fragile. I'm really sorry. But I won't pay for the medical fees…"
Upon hearing Hong Dali's words, Ko Gohon was instantly enraged. "Hong Dali! You're despicable! Shameless! We're not done yet! Not done!"
"I know!" The problem was that Hong Dali very shamelessly admitted. "I've never said that I'm a gentleman. I'm a prodigal, a superprodigal, so I've never said I was a good person. Um, carry on. I'll go and play."
"Go to hell!" Ko Gohon was so angry that he threw his smartphone to the ground and then stomped on it ferociously.
After the smartphone had been stomped to pieces, Ko Gohon finally vented a little of his anger. He angrily sat on the sofa, gritted his teeth and said, "Idiot! Idiot! Hong Dali, we're not done, not done! I'll see how long you can be cocky for! I'll see how long you can be happy for! This time, even if I throw in hundreds of millions, I'll crush you to death! Crush you to death!"
Thinking up to this point, Ko Gohon roared, "Come here! Come here!" 
"Young Master, I'm here!" The bodyguard hurriedly ran inside. "Young Master, what are your orders?"
"Call the website administrator over here right away. I want to ask him how to quickly increase the number of updated books. Quickly go!" Ko Gohon gritted his teeth. "Hong Dali, it's impossible for me to let you always be so cocky! Definitely not!"
Very soon, a middle-aged man ran inside, soaked in sweat. Once he saw Ko Gohon, he hurriedly greeted. "Young Master, you're looking for me?" This person was the general manager of Feng Yun website, GM Liu.
"GM Liu," Ko Gohon's stared at him with his eyes like a poisonous snake. "I'll take out 100 million more. I want to increase all the poached authors' pay by 50% and ensure that they don't leave! Also, I want you to increase the number of updated works for me within two weeks. Do you have any good ideas of how to do so?!" 
"Ah? Two weeks' time?" GM Liu's eyeballs turned, and after thinking for a while, he said, "If it's for the long term, it's not easy. But it's very easy if it's for the short term. We only need to spend money to hire ghostwriters and write things that will increase the number. That's very simple. If the speed is slow in two weeks, it would only be able to reach fifty to sixty thousand words. But if we do this, within two weeks, it's not a problem to do a few thousand books!" 
"Good! Do it this way!" Ko Gohon fiercely smacked his thigh. "Go and liaise with them right away. I want to pull these people over with the fastest speed, the more the better. And set the price higher. We don't want quality, we only want quantity. Do you understand?!"
"Understood!" GM Liu instantly went out.
"Humph humph, Hong Dali, you really think I don't have a plan? This time, I'll see what you can do!" Ko Gohon clenched his fists till his veins almost burst. "I want you to cough out everything you've taken in along with interest! Cough it all out!"

Author Two: "Yes, my fees are 50 yuan per 1,000 words. Now it has become 75 yuan per 1,000 words. That's literally throwing money! What the heck, I am a tall, rich and handsome guy too!"
Author Three: "Sigh, why don't we observe further?"
Author Four: "Mm, I've decided not to leave as well. Anyway, this side gives us money, so what are we scared of? That side is so filthy rich, but honestly, I'm quite curious. Who exactly is the one who's so generous, he's totally throwing money away. Does he have too much money and nowhere to spend?"

Ghostwriter One: "Breaking news, breaking news! Feng Yun website has a boss with lots of money who wants to take in novels to increase their numbers. Starting from 5 yuan per 1,000 words, this is really a rare generous price! Everyone, quickly go, our opportunity to earn fast money has come!"
Ghostwriter Two: "What the heck, really? I was still troubled over how to deal with so many scrap drafts. This time I finally have a place to sell them, hahaha!"
Ghostwriter Three: "Yes, yes, I have many scrapbook drafts as well, this is real money that has dropped from the sky!" 
Ghostwriter Four: "Say no more, everyone. Quickly get going!"


"I have to squander; otherwise, won't it be a waste of my parent's talent at earning money?" Hong Dali answers a reporter's question matter-of-factly. 

Just after the interview ends, Hong Dali opens the Great Prodigal System's interface and looks at the various good stuff displayed in it. Stroking his chin, he mumbles to himself, "I just need to squander 200 billion yuan more to exchange for the blueprint of the core technology, Engine Destruction, found in the strongest humanoid mecha weapon, Neo Granzon. Looks like I'll have to work harder!"

"I want to splurge! I want to squander!"


When Gun-Ho entered the office next door, the design workers stood up altogether.
"Hi. I came with President Jeong-Sook Shin here. She will join you starting today."
"Hi. I've heard a lot about you. My name is Min-Sook Oh."
"You look familiar. Have we met before?"
"I've done some contracting work for KimBooks before."
"Oh, I see. That's why you look so familiar. Nice to meet you. I'm Jeong-Sook Shin."
Min-Sook introduced the other two workers to her.
"This lady here worked in the design team with me. And the lady here, she handled administrative work for our previous company."
"Oh, is that right? Have you worked with a publishing application before?"
"No, not yet."
"We will start using a publishing application at work. The daily orders from Kyobo Book Center and Yes24 for example or some other companies will be all handled using the software. We will use the publishing application for our shipping request as well."
 
When Jeong-Sook started talking with her employees about the work at the publishing company, Gun-Ho stood up to leave.
"Alright. I will leave you all here so you could comfortably talk about the work. I have an important meeting I need to attend anyway."
President Shin quickly handed a piece of paper to Gun-Ho.
"What is this?"
"It's a list of the books we will publish."
"Haha. If you are okay with the book selection, then I am okay with it. I totally leave the decision up to you to use your discretion. Manager Kang, why don't you hand over the company bank account and credit card to President Shin?"
"Yes, sir."
Manager Kang handed the new publishing company's bank book and business credit card to Jeong-Sook. Gun-Ho then walked out of the office. They will talk further about the details of the tasks and things of their publishing company.
 
The workers came to the front door of the office to see Gun-Ho leaving.
"Today is the first day of the company. Why don't you celebrate by having lunch in a nice restaurant all together today?"
 
Gun-Ho then headed to Asan City.
Gun-Ho was having a cup of coffee in the morning with several directors and managers when the plant manager brought up the topic about Jae-Sik Moon.
"The security guard who used to work night shift here quit the job. I heard he is someone you know, sir."
"I recently established a publishing company named GH Media. He will be working for that company as a chief editor."
"A chief editor?"
"Yes. He used to work in the publishing field, and his novel has recently been selected for an award. The prize was 50 million won."
"Oh, I see. I didn't know he was a writer. Well, I think I saw him writing something in his security guard office. I guess he was writing a novel."
The people in the office all laughed together.
"That's good for him. He didn't seem to fit in here anyway. He was inept at the work, and I was thinking of letting you know about it. Well, he found a job that fits in with his talent. I am happy for him."
Gun-Ho was picturing Jae-Sik sitting at a desk writing and working with books that he loved. Gun-Ho felt happy for Jae-Sik.
 
After having a morning meeting with managers and directors, Gun-Ho checked his email. There was an email from President Jeong-Sook Shin; it said,
"President Goo, I understand that I don't have to give you a daily report; however, I believe I need to let you know the decision on the books which we will be publishing, and the salaries of the workers. Here is the list of books we plan to publish."
President Shin listed six books. The book list showed mostly the books about self-development that could be easily read by readers, except 'Economy Trend in China for the 21st Century' authored by Professor Jien Wang. Three of them were written by Japanese writers, and two of them were authored by famous Korean columnist.
"The book titles of these books are very provocative."
Gun-Ho then looked at the workers' salaries.
"President Shin 3.5 million won, Chief Editor Jae-Sik Moon 2.5 million won, Min-Sook Oh 2.2 million won, Assistant designer and administrative staff 1.9 million won."
"I told her that I would pay her 5 million won, but she lowered it to 3.5 million won for herself. I guess she was concerned about what other workers would think about her receiving a high salary now when the company even haven't started generating revenue. However, I know she will ask me to raise it once a book starts selling. She seems to be a sensitive person about money."
 
Gun-Ho was reading an economic newspaper when the sales director entered his office.
"Sir, this is the product cost that we will bring to S Group."
"How much is the product cost per unit?"
"It's 4,800 won."
"The labor cost is 860 won, huh?"
"Yes. The labor cost is divided into three different labors: handling the extruding machine and mixing the chemicals, and cutting work, and lastly quality assurance and wrapping."
"Is this based on the next year's projected labor cost?"
"No. We used this year's labor cost. We need to base this year's labor cost for the products that will be manufactured this year."
"The product unit cost seems to be very high. What costs are included?"
"It includes electricity and rent for the factory."
"A rent for the factory?"
"Yes. Even though we own the factory, I included the rental cost. Also, various supplies expenses and depreciation are reflected in the production cost."
"The manufacturing cost per unit itself already exceeds 3,500 won."
"The cost of wrapping and shipping have reflected that cost."
"How much did you list for sales and management?"
"15% of the product cost."
"Do you think the S Group will raise the issue on it?"
"They will try to lower that cost. However, I will convince them to approve our estimated product cost."
"Okay."
"Please sign on the production cost sheet. We will need your signature on it so we can use it outside the company, sir."
Gun-Ho signed on the production cost.
Gun-Ho asked with a smile,
"How much do you think they will ask in their first order?"
"I am not so sure, but I am expecting that they will ask us to produce about 50,000 units."
"50,000… It's 240 million won then."
The sales director was surprised by that, Gun-Ho calculated the revenue without using a calculator.
'He has an excellent number of sense and high capacity for mental computation. Wow. No wonder he succeeded at his young age.'
 
"Have we received enough raw materials from Dyeon America already for those first 50,000 product unit?"
"We received 3 tons of raw materials so far. We are unloading it right now using a forklift truck."
"Are you visiting S Group tomorrow with the production cost document?"
"Yes. I will go with the assistant manager who was in charge of that estimation."
"Sounds good."
"Okay, sir. Please let me know if you need anything."
 
The sales director was walking towards the office door to leave when he turned back and came to Gun-Ho to say,
"Sir, I have something I'd like to ask you."
"What is it?"
"Can we have two workers from the research center assigned to our sales department once the research center is dissolved?"
"I will send you one worker."
"We need two of them, sir. We need at least two more people in order to strengthen our sales capacity."
"Let's talk about it later then."
"Okay, sir. I will leave now."

This is the story of a poor young man whose poverty even shreds apart their family willing to climb his way through society and into the top. A very realistic novel that moves away from fantasy and sci-fi and focuses solely on the issues of society and life.

There are a lot of One Piece fan fictions around here, but most of them are left uncompleted.  And here is the common mistakes One piece fanfic writers make often :-

First, they give the MC a huge training period from the beginning to raise their power to become acceptable, therefore missing on the golden opportunity to add some comedy to the story.  Not just that, but they usually make the MC overpowered from the beginning, which makes the MC looks like an unmotivated bitch that just want to watch Luffy and his adventures without doing anything major.

Second mistake is sitting boundaries...  If you ever gave your MC too much power, stop trying to stick with the main plot.  There is almost no way for you to stick to the plot while not making your character boring.  I saw this line said by almost every fanfic MC "I want to join straw hat crew, because I want to watch the series unfold with my own eyes" or something similar.  Imagine having the knowledge of the plot, and the power to do whatever you like, but you always decide against telling people the plot because "I don't want to hurt their spirit" bullsiht.  You should have typed "I am a lazy writer who can't adapt to adding a new character to the series".  The thing is, an MC is called an MC, because the story is centered around him, not Luffy...  ( I could talk about this issue for years, and I won't be able to give it its right ).

Third mistake.  If you ever made the MC overpowered, and now you regret it, don't nerf him for no reason.  It is a common mistake that a lot of authors do, even in other fanfics, not only one piece.  If your MC became overpowered by a mistake, try to find entertaining ways to make him face a challenge, take Enel being unable to hurt Luffy for example.  Give your MC someone that counter him, or if you couldn't find any, then don't stick to the original series and create a plot in which your MC is doing things that are entertaining, instead of laying back and doing nothing.  If your MC is way too overpowered to the point that no one can stand a chance against him, then don't try to milk the fan fiction and prolong it; add comedic scenes instead of making it serious.  Everyone would give you thumbs up if you slapped Akainu to another dimension, then went there and slapped him back to One Piece world.  

Here is different story formulas that you can use...

If you wanted to write a story where the MC gets a certain amount of wishes from a god, write as follows:-

Write a backstory, and then you can say that the MC was hit by a truck... or if you want, you can make the most absurd reason of death.  Just for the sake of comedy, lets say that Akainu was teleported by god by a mistake, and he slapped the MC too hard, that the MC's body popped and showered the whole road with blood.

Now you have established that the MC hates Akainu for killing him for no reason.  Next, let the god offer you wishes and apologize as usual.  Or you can make the MC very vicious and extort some benefits from god, up to you.  Don't give the MC a lot of wishes, just give him 1 or 2.  In the case of this example, I will let him have one wish.

During the anger of the MC, the MC will think of an ability that counters Akainu in theory, because his goal is to kill Akainu.  For the sake of creativity I will choose (Shido Shido no Mi) also known as Temperature fruit.

Keep on mind of the following issues (Bodies in our world is way weaker than the bodies of One Piece world.  Which means if you were to send your MC there with his own body, then even a baby can bitch slap your MC...  I don't know how many people are overlooking this point...  And the training excuse is just stupid.  They don't have mana in the air there or anything that benefits the body, thus, training there will be the same as training here...  How long does it take someone to be enlightened in this world?  it takes decades of religious training to have a calm mind, let alone Haki and bullsht, so please stop sending your MCs with their original body to One Piece's world, because the only way you can argue against my point, is by saying that the world in there has more oxygen percentage in it's air, thus making creatures stronger, which can be countered by "A lot of oxygen means bigger body and higher metabolism, but we see a lot of characters in one piece eating like normal human beings")

Since you need the body from the one piece world, it is favorable to choose reincarnation.  Being born anew as a child in the world of One Piece.  If you choose to reincarnate him, make sure to mention that he was given birth to.  You can choose whichever family you want.

As for the childhood, you can either skip it outlining what happened during that period, or you can use it to add some comedic value to the story by using a chapter or two to give context to the MC's childhood.  For example, the sense of achievement that the MC felt when he started crawling, or walking!  Or you can give him one line as a baby like :-

MC's mom "It is a good morning, isn't it (Insert MC's name here)?"
MC "Ga!"
Seagull extending his hand asking for money payment for the newspaper
MC "Ga!"
A fire burning the house, while everyone is panicking the MC is like "Ga!".
While it might sounds unfunny here, if done properly, it would be as funny as the peanut butter baby. (link in the comments XD)

It is better if you don't make your MC either strong, or weak, as he should be normal, as strong as a 1m berries pirate or something like that.  If you wanted to continue the comedic scene, you can make your MC weak, and make fun of his weakness, but don't over do it, because no one likes a weak MC that has a weak character.  Despite talking about how it is better to make your MC in the middle, not strong or weak, for this example I will make the MC overpowered after childhood, to assist those who fell into the mistake of making the MC too OP.

Lets say that our MC's weapons right now are as follows: -
1- The knowledge of the plot.
2- Mehh mastery over the temperature fruit ( can start fire on flammable objects, while freezing a bottle of water )
3- Introductory level in both Kenbunshoku and Bushoku Haki.
4- A strong body.

That is enough to make him strong enough to rival a 30 million berries bounty pirate, if not stronger.

Now, the MC have 3 things he can do, be a pirate, join the marines, or be a pirate hunter.  The easiest early setup to develop an OP MC character is to make him be a pirate hunter, thus I am going to follow that example.

As the MC becomes a pirate hunter, (Insert a story here of how the MC got his boat or ship by either getting it as a gift from his family, or hunting a pirate that was terrorizing the people in his village and handing him over to the marine).

After the story of how the MC got his boat (Insert a story here of how the MC started hunting pirates, trolling them and destroying them easily cuz he is OP.  example, make the MC light the pirates' ship on fire XD, and when they jump in the sea, he make the water around them cold, making them suffer from Hypothermia, dying a slow death by either burning or freezing).

An important thing that most of the people miss, is how the MC spends his money...  You don't know how many authors talk about how the MC stole the treasures of the pirates, but never mention how the MC spent them.  I am pretty sure their MC hid the treasures by putting it inside his ass!

As for ways to spend money, it contributes to the MC's character.  You can make him spend it buying the best food ever, or saving it to buy a fake Zoan fruit in the black market, or maybe buying a high end products that will assist him, the same thing Usopp does with his money.  You can use the money to bribe marines, hire pirate hunters, there are a lot of options because Money = Power.

The way the MC spends his money is also considered a part of his character, so don't be inconsistent of making the MC a man of justice, and then make him buy from the black market.

After the adventures of the MC, include shortcuts of people who are now paying attention to the MC.

As the MC is going to be OP (cuz of the example) he will have to train before every fight, thus having no problem destroying his enemies.  If you want to extend your story, you can make the MC interact with characters of the main series, but don't make it too boring...  A lot of chapters with no action might lead people to just drop your novel.  For example, say that you want to troll Crocodile.  Instead of killing him (and your MC can kill him easily because he will be OP when he meets crocodile), you can do a hide and seek game with him, by changing the weather using temperature (search more about the subject before writing about it, a google search will take you at most an hour).  Ruining Crocodile's plan, will make him frustrated and he will act irrationally, then you can make your MC look cool by making fun of him in the middle of the fight.

The goal of the MC was to take revenge on Akainu; So you will have to align the events that occur so you can create opportunity for that to happened.  As for how the MC can use temperature fruit to counter Akainu is very easy.  Once Akainu turns to lava, the MC will freeze his lava into rock, and once Akainu converts back to his original form, he will be hit with a severe coldness that his bones will tatter.  Remember, he heals himself with Lave, so everything he tried to heal, he won't be able to, because the cold temperature will cool his lava instantly (aka, the MC can control the temperature of the lava itself, making it sold in an instant, because the MC is OP)... and while you are at it, you can make it so the MC can make a space very hot that he can open portals between world, slapping Akainu to another world, and it will be known as the story where the MC is slapping Akainu across dimensions... Some say that Akainu is still being slapped to this day, stuck in a never ending cycle of being slapped through space and time.

For those who want to make a fan fiction or the MC reincarnating without wishes, or the MC being born in the one piece world without the knowledge of the plot, or even the MC being reborn as a character, I will give examples for those, in the next chapter of Voidne's Books of Ideas!

Novel ideas I have, but have no time to write.  Sharing those ideas in the hope to support people who are getting into writing  but cannot think of any plot.  I will be glad if you used my plots as references, and am going to support you if you ever needed any suggestions. 

Not saying that my ideas are the best.  I am a human, so my ideas might be flawed, but they should be good enough for new writers at most.

Earth 2019 AD. Young Naoto, an orphan who had Japanese blood in him, was adopted by a family who just got married in Reno Nevada. As Naoto grew up with this family he became engrossed in computer technology, especially virtual reality programming which were still in its rudimentary stages. 

After Naoto turned 16, a major corporation known as the Cosmos Corporation officially developed the world's first VRMMO, Rebirth. As Naoto was rather well off with his close-knit bond with his family, his parents decided to get him a first release game helmet. 

It is now AD 2035, and Naoto was eager to come home after his day at high school to enjoy the first day the servers went live at 9 o'clock in the evening.

As he finally arrived to the fated time, awaiting the last few seconds to the countdown, a natural phenomena occurred, which have been developing on the western half of the world over the last few decades, and met an untimely accident.

Just as his consciousness was fading away, he heard a mechanical ding, and activated the Rebirth System, allowing him to reincarnate into any world that he so desires, with no limit.
