A new chapter in a man's new world! The books I've loved are now my lifeline!

Looking at the thick pile of scripts, Qin Guan was surprised by her abilities. In such a short time, she had managed to create a good relationship within the film and TV circles. In spite of the quality of the scripts, the chance to audition was valuable for plenty of actors.

The stone praying incense burner in the square was surrounded by smoke. There were several wintersweet trees standing beside it, which made the temple look noble and unsullied in the winter.
The students of the academy were doing their matin in brown frocks. The pilgrims didn’t disturb them. They just burned their first incense stick for the day.

Skimming through some of the books to find the particularly interesting ones, he comes across a book fully detailing Morgan's transformation into becoming an Animagi, this was incredibly useful as the other books on the subject he had read only gave vague descriptions on what he actually had to do... Here however, it feels as if the  ancient powerful witch was teaching him personally, if he were to put this in an auction after being verified he might become the richest man in wizarding Britain... Or richer than he already is? An artifact dating back to the time of Merlin and his greatest rival would surely draw attention to him however, and he had no intention to sell this book of before reaping all of the benefits.

Before, the books simply stated that through meditation he'd eventually find his animal and slowly start transforming, even after finding the diary on theories of various Animagi transformations he still only had a vague idea of what to do. These new books however, give a full detailed explanation on the process, is your Occlumency is good enough and you meditate during a full moon you'll get a look at your form, of course how detailed it is depends on your forms personality... If it's a predator that stalks prey it might be incredibly difficult to actually discover what your animal is, this is the reason not many people have completed the transformation. This was probably also the reason the marauders found it so easy to transform with their half-assed potion, the book actually speaks of people who'd skip the most essential parts to quickly gain the form. this forces some of the animals actual personality into the person, rather than the persons personality deciding the animal... Back onto the Marauders, from what Reima can remember the books theory explains quite a lot, James Potter and Sirius black found it the easiest as their forms were not shy at all. Peter Pettegrew took the longest, not due to him lacking the talent, but because his form of a rat was probably incredibly hard to discover.

Either way, he'll not take the easy route to gaining this ability and will not allow Ciri to either. Not that he knows how to create the potion anyway, the book states that the potion is an abomination of the original method and should be purged from history...

Continuing to read further it states that after you've found your animal you'll have to slowly meditate and try to passively transfigure your body into the animal. There is not spell needed and you don't have to be talented in transfiguration either, instead it's all about imagination. Essentially you're overlaying your animal's form over your own, imagining what it'd take to transform into it... It has scaled skin? How would your skin transform into that? It has wings? What muscles must be changed to adapt to that? And so on.

He stops reading there as he's not even discovered his animal yet and getting too far ahead of himself could have unforeseen consequences, instead he tries to rememer how the moon looked last night to find out how long it'll be until he can discover his animal... Almost full? he isn't an expert on astrology which will become readily apparent when he takes his Hogwarts test, he didn't put that much effort into learning either as stars and constellations change with each different universe h enters. Trying to memorise such thing would prove to be a pointless endeavour.

Sitting himself on the floor he starts to meditate, he was incredibly wary of actually attending Hogwarts, he knew the headmaster was a master Legilimens and would be able to breach his mental shields if he was off guard... Hopefully his short time training Occlumency would be able to hold off his unobtrusive scans, the last thing he needs is a nosy mage in his business. Another thing he was curious of was the famous sorting hat, well, not famous in the magical world as it was almost a taboo to talk about it, but famous in his old world. He wasn't sure what house he'd actually be in... Hopefully he'd be in the same house as Ciri as it'd make it easier to train her if they followed a similar scheduel, although he was sure they wouldn't be in the same grade.

Wait, what were they supposed to do with Nerissa? They couldn't exactly take her to school with them, he had promised to take care of her in her mothers stead and he was very opposed to leaving her with someone as he felt he was the only one powerful enough to keep her safe...
He sighs and continues meditating, deciding to leave these problems for future Reima.

Most people who die and are confronted with a godlike being like to take the easy route... Not this guy.

After finishing their lunch, Xiao Ying led Sun Zhen to the Clan Gate so she could give him a tour from the beginning to the end.

To his surprise, the place was a market. 

Seemed like the clan wanted to have their own economy so they opened a huge trading center at the gate and people from outside could buy the clan products.

"Potions...Weapon...Clothes...Pet...Seem like they sell almost everything here" 

Sun Zhen walked pass stores, some of the store owners came out and greeted  Xiao Ying.

"Our clan most famous products are potions, we have many kinds of potions but the best one is Qi potion...With Qi potion, you can recover your Qi by drinking it but the taste is so bland that you don't want to drink the 2nd one." 

Interested in potions, Sun Zhen asked her where the largest or most success potion shop was.

"I know just the place"

She then led him to a very big shop that had the sign "Xiao Clan Elder Approved Potion".

"That some assure product quality sign there" Sun Zhen thought as he followed her into the shop.

Inside the shop, he saw colorful glass bottles on shelves and the name labels on those bottles.

"Recovery Potion-10 Silver...ManHood Boost-35 Silver...Great Sleep-20 Silver...Man, there are so many" 

When he touched a Recovery bottle, 2 new information appeared in his mind.

"You learn something new every day" Sun Zhen picked up more bottles while try to rename them based on the labels.

While Sun Zhen was doing his thing, Xiao Ying went to counter and greeted the old employee.

"Uncle Wan, how is the business?" Xiao Ying said.

"It's you again. Please buy the full price potions this time, I can not give you a 99% discount again. The 6th Elder doesn't  like his business got ruin"

Uncle Wan was a middle age man with a bald head and had a big belly.

"I am not here to buy potions, I am just here to show my friend your potion shop"

"Hum...Is that your friend? Is he looking for a potion?" He then pointed at Sun Zhen, who used the ladder to reach for potions on a very high shelve.

"Sun Zhen, do you want to buy a potion?" 

"I am good, I just try to see the names of the potions" After he finished collecting, he went to the other shelves to collect as much as possible.

"Just be careful, the bottles are very fragile" Uncle Wan said then he took out a potion under his table.

"Your dad wants this Foundation Strengthening potion to be delivered to him before night but you are here so please help me deliver this to him" 

She nodded and put the potion into her bag then she waited for Sun Zhen to finish what he was doing.

"The potions are very interesting" After done collecting, he and she moved to new location.

"This is the clan library" She pointed a five-floor building in front of them.

Based on what she told him before they came here, the library was built about 600 years ago (He still hadn't figured out how many days a year in this world) and some very old knowledge was stored here. 

Sadly, this was only a normal library while the Art (Skills for Cultivators) library was forbidden to go in unless you were from Senior class or higher stage than Juqi

The rule applied to everyone and even Xiao Ying couldn't or the Patriarch go against it because it was set by Great Ancestors.

Inside the library, Sun Zhen saw a lot of people coming in and out while some were busy reading books on the long tables.

"There is a lot of people here, and the books on the shelves almost empty" He said.

"The first floor is for commoners and outsider. We can go to the 2nd floor. The books are the same and it is a quiet place but will cost us some fees" Xiao Ying then paid the guard at the stairs to the next floor with 50 Silver (Coin).

She was right, the second floor had the same setup as the first floor but the place was more peaceful and there was a librarian.

"I want to read some books so can you wait?"He asked

"Don't worry, do what you want. I need to rest anyway" She then sat down and closed her eyes a bit.

Sun Zhen then went to the librarian and asked for books about the world or anything related to the country.

"Sorry, Sir but we don't have the books you asked for, only books about 2 nations, sects and cities, including our city"

"That fine"

"Please wait" The librarian left to look for his books.

"So weird, a library with 600 years old, should have books that I asked for. Either the books are collected around here only or the books are being on the different floor"

After waiting for 10 minutes, the librarian came back with 3 books.

"Here the books you asked for"

"Thanks. Another thing I want to ask"

He asked her if the books he wanted were on different floors or not inside the library.

"I am really sorry. I don't know, I only know about the books on the 1st and 2nd floor. As for other floors, I don't have permission to go in"

"Ok thanks" 

He would ask Xiao Ying later and the 3 books were enough for now.

For 1 hour, he read all the books and wrote down the main information onto a paper he created from the Block (Without being seen)

What he learned was quite a lot:

*2 Nations: Wang and Zhou. The nations names were based on the rulers First name.

*238 Sects, from big to small. Some were very famous and more powerful than the nations but they had little interest in 2 nations conflicts.

*Unknown amount of cities...only found info about 8 cities near them.

*The city he was staying in belongs to Wang country and it was the city nearest to the border to other nation.

*Xiao Clan didn't own the city despite the clan took over half of the city, Tower Master was.

*Tower Masters were Wang' Nation Guards that protect the cities and very powerful Cultivators.

That all the main information he gathered from the books.

After giving the books back, he went back to Xiao Ying who was drooling on the table.

"Wake Up Xiao Ying" When he called her, she started to open her eyes.

He was shocked as he found out it wasn't her anymore because the eyes he saw before.

"Xiao Yang?"

"Hello pretty boy, miss me?"

"You are going to risk her secret here. Please change back"

"Don't worry, I just cast a sound-proof wall around us"

Sun Zhen looked around and saw distorted space around them.

"When?... Why are you appear here for?"

"I only appear for 1 reason, the apples"

"...You could have chosen better time"

"Time is priceless to me right now and this is the best time to take over her body"

"I can see that" He saw that she still drooling for some reason and he didn't tell her about it.

"I need you to plant the apples back, the seeds that I got from the apples I ate, these don't grow at all no matter what I do. I water it and used Qi growth but nothing work"

"Really?" Sun Zhen figured out that there must be a bug or error for the seeds when the tree produced.

"The apples recover you right? Okay I will help you, for her sake only" He said.

"You are soft but that what I love about a man like you" She then closed her eyes then fall back onto the table and the distorted space disappear.

Not too long after that, she woke up and it was Xiao Ying as he hurried to wipe the drool on her face when she saw Sun Zhen.

"Are you finished reading?" She asked

"Yeah. Also, your body got taken by Xiao Yang" 

"Again?! I shouldn't have sleep"

They left the library and Sun Zhen followed her to new places.

For the whole afternoon, they visited almost every place inside the clan and Sun Zhen was impressed on how they managed the place. 

She also said that after becoming the Patriarch before her dad transformed the clan and the people agreed to his ideas.

"Maybe he was also like me. A modern person from Earth" Sun Zhen thought.

The tour ended with they went back to Sun Zhen's place.

"What do you think of Xiao Clan?" She asked.

"It wasn't like what I think, pretty much better than expected"

"For you, that is normal but not me, I been living here so so long now. I want to go out and explore more, the only time I got out was the time in the forest and I almost got killed"

Sun Zhen knew what she meant, she was just a teen and she wanted to do crazy stuff besides cultivating and study.

"How about someday when I leave the clan, I will help you with that...But we need to get stronger first"

"Promise?"

"Sure that is a promise"

After getting the yellow potion, he opened it and smelled.

"No poison or nothing wrong, the quality is quite good. 6th Elder must have tried his best...

Sun Zhen, come here and drink this. This potion is called Foundation Strengthening and this will improve your body"

As Sun Zhen touched it, new code added and it was a very long code, about 34 lines which were impressive for just a liquid.

"Thank you"

He then drank it and felt warm inside his body.

Soon, he felt that his muscles were getting tougher and bigger than before and it stopped as he finished the whole potion.

"This is what potion can do? It is fcking amazing, I wonder I can drink this type more"

"After this, your body can handle intense training from First Elder. Now you excuse me, Xiao Ying and I have to go"

He then grabbed her shoulder and disappeared like the time they teleported.

Minecraft, a great game for all ages and it is still popular today. Thanks to human’s creativity, gamers have created a lot of things inside Minecraft. Also with the red stone creations, gamers’s creativity have reached a higher lvl by creating machine-like block creations. Then with the appearance of Command Block, a new age of Minecraft begins. The Block that can control the whole world, bend the world into what players want and mods the world into something else. Where millions of code lines can be placed into one small block and created things that players can imagine about. 

Sun Zhen, a former Minecraft pro player, 25 years old and have a pretty good live. But died because of a robbery. Watch as he enter the world of CULTIVATION.

This holiday I finally decided to go on a much needed vacation with Sherry. My destination was France. It was close by and had many beautiful sites and beaches. I decided the best way to travel for me without any complicated process was flying using my animagus which would be a fun flight too. So next week a falcon took off from my house and flew towards south. Its destination France.

I reached Paris in only one hour. The flight over the sea and many farm lands was fun and the sights were magnificent. The feeling I got while perching on the top of the Eiffel tower and looking down at the beautiful city of Paris was amazing. My first stop was Gringotts to take control of my mother's vault. The process was quick. All it needed was a drop of blood to verify the relation. There was no account manager. The vault did not contain any items just money. The total was 15,460G. Even with all these years of usage the vault still had this much money left in it. I decided to keep the vault open as it may come handy in the future. I exchanged some Francs from Gringotts for my expenses during the trip and left to find a place to stay. 

I booked a room in a good hotel in Paris for my stay. I was now tall enough to be mistaken for an adult and all I needed to do was apply some glamour charms on my face to fool the Hotel receptionist into believing that I was an adult. I decided to keep the adult appearance for the whole trip as it would avoid a lot of trouble for me during the trip. I visited the various museums and art galleries in France during my stay there. In my past life I always dreamed about going on a overseas trip to other countries, seeing the different beautiful sights and trying out their cuisine. So I was fulfilling my dreams during this trip and this made the trip a whole lot fun for me. I also bought a new wardrobe while going around the city as I found the clothes here much more fashionable. 

The magical part of France was beautiful but essentially not much different from Britain. The equivalent of Diagon Alley in France looked much posher and welcoming than the run down shops of Diagon Alley. The sad thing was that the things sold were the same just in a different language. There were same restrictive laws here as in Britain. I spent a week in Paris enjoying the cities sites and cuisine with a disguised Sherry. The Eiffel tower and the various palaces were fascinating to visit.
I also used my time here in Paris to collect mastery books on Alchemy since France was famous for its Alchemy knowledge due to the Flamels living here.

I did not even consider visiting the Flamels and asking them to teach me Alchemy because I did not know what kind of people they were. The Flamels made the Philosopher's stone which produced Elixir of life. They were the only ones to have succeeded making one and I did not even know how to even go about trying to make one. But from what I know, Alchemy followed the law of equivalent exchange. It was followed in all the metal transmutations I have done till now. So for the creation of philosopher's stone, the Flamel's must have sacrificed either lives of human beings, plants or animals. Since I did not know the method, I could not know for sure. So staying away from them was better. They had helped out during the Grindelwald war so they could be good people but I did not know for sure.

After Paris, I travelled around various beaches in France. The Falken family had a summer resort here but since I have not reached majority, I cannot find its location. I just relaxed and enjoyed myself in all the famous tourist beaches. There was no chance of me being sun burned due to magic so I spent most of my time outside. I spent another two week visiting all the different beautiful beaches, trying out all the water sports and relaxing. It was a much needed rest for me as I had not spent much time relaxing and having fun ever since I reincarnated into this world.

Before leaving for London, I decided to check out the Knockturn Alley equivalent of France too which to my surprise was not a gloomy and dark place. It was same as the other Alley just filled with dark wizards. I had not yet started my research on Dark Magic due to the hectic schedule I had for the past year but since my NEWT studies was over, I decided that I was not in much rush anymore and spend some of my time this year on Dark Arts research.

Since I did not own any books on Dark Arts, I decided to buy some from France first and then check out the ones in England after returning. I only spent a single day going through a lot of books and buying whichever I found interesting. By the end of the day, I was owner of books on Blood Magic, Ritual Magic, Soul Magic, Dark Potions and Dark Curses. I even avoided touching these books directly because they felt dangerous and some may have deadly curses on them. I used Dragon hide gloves just to go through them and see if the book was real. I also found a couple of books on battle magic which I readily bought. The books were costly and all together I spent 3000G on books that day.

After a long and relaxing stay in France, I was back in London. The overseas trip was still only for 3 weeks. I made it short because I wanted to check up on the Boy-Who-Lived before he joined Hogwarts. I wanted it to be longer trip next year, so I was going to choose a much bigger country as destination.

After reaching England, I went shopping at Diagon Alley. My Hogwarts letter for 4th year had already arrived so I had some shopping to do. I also used the visit to buy an OWL, as my friends were bothering me to buy one so that we could send letters to each other during the holidays. It was a strong and powerful male Eagle Owl. I named it Casper. I told Sherry to take all my stuff including Casper to the house while I went to Knockturn Alley and bought some more books on Dark Arts. I was disappointed on not finding anything unique books and in the end I only bought a couple of new books.

Now that my work for the Holidays was over, I decided to check up on the Chosen Boy and make my decision on whether I should help him or leave him to the wolves.

Aser spent the next few hours focusing on completing his daily Essence Cultivation. After restarting, he instantly noticed that there was an improvement to his rate of Essence Cultivation. The earlier insight and creation of the [Essence Flash] skill had increased his understanding quite a lot, and a breakthrough to 23 Essence Per Hour didn't seem far. Although he was able to reach 22 Essence Per Hour in a month, it was evident to him that increasing it again within a short period of time wasn't possible. 

Stretching his body upon completion, Aser checked his current essence. It was sitting at 270/3200, and if everything goes according to plan, he will be Unknown Level 6 at the start of the term. While this might seem normal from his perspective, Aser knew that the average student would start with at most Unknown Level 3. Granted, the First Son's Academy wasn't an average academy either, so it wouldn't be weird to see the exceptional first years being equal to him in cultivation. The speed for leveling up after Unknown Level 6 would drastically slow down though, as the earlier levels were far easier to breakthrough. 

The moon was already shining brightly outside, the grounds relatively quiet with the flickering of Light Crystals illuminating the distant buildings and dormitories. Shaking the urge to go to bed, Aser decided to look at the subject he would need to cover for the first exam. Surprisingly, it was about Essence! Knowing that he still didn't have a great grasp on the basics of Essence, Aser memorized the names of all the books required for the trial and went downstairs to retrieve them.

The first floor of the library had a ghost-like silence amidst its towering shelves and gentle crystal luminescence. Locating the aisle for Essence, the boy retrieved the few books that were in his reach and put them on top of a nearby trolley. Looking around, he spotted a step ladder to help in his gathering venture. After about a dozen minutes, the trolley was precariously stacked with books on top of each other. Rolling the trolley towards the stairs, Aser let out a sigh, his eyelids fluttering and slightly closing. 

Back in the study room after a few trips retrieving all the books, he decided to briefly go over all of them while Ashes was compiling the information into materials for him to study. Right away, he noticed that even though his basics were shoddy on the subject, he knew a lot of the broader topics and even some of the advanced ones. After familiarizing himself with most of the topics involved in the collection in front of him, Aser realized that what Ashes had gathered for him through [Essence History] wasn't systematic. The information was there, but due to Ashes never having actually gone through the topic written by researchers, she hadn't been able to categorize the topics in a meaningful way, but instead had done it through connecting similar topics together, regardless of their level of difficulty. 

At the moment though, Ashes would divide the hundred tomes required for the first Library Trial in to four volumes in the System Library. The volumes would be a supplement to his current Knowledge regarding Essence Cultivation and each finished volume would also result in a 25% progress on the trial. The 4-day study plan would then allow Aser to complete the trial in the shortest amount of time while learning the essentials of the topic. And this would continue for all the other Library Trials afterwards for this month, hoping to finish at least 5 trials by the start of the new school year. Even though he could finish the task for the trial, unfortunately, he couldn't submit them until the term started, and so wouldn't get any of the rewards either. 

Waiting for her to finish copying the contents to her memory, Aser went ahead and retrieved the 5th book of the "General Knowledge on Professions for advancement from Unknown Rank" series. He already had a good idea on the Profession he wanted to progress towards. It was demanding, but he felt as if it would be his best option with the advantages Ashes gave him. It was a Hybrid Profession, focusing on the Knowledge-type, with the Social and Warrior fields as sub-types.

The title of the Profession was called "Gambit".

Even though Gambits weren't a popular profession and had very high requirements in order to be certified as one, Aser felt this was a field made for him. He knew it would be a long road in order to even become a Rookie Gambit, much less any of the higher ranks in the field. Even the most famous Gambit in recent times had only been an Adept Gambit who went missing two hundred years ago! Disregarding the disadvantages to the field, the advantages were numerous. All sizes of organizations would want to employ a Gambit among their staff, but due to their rarity, 95% of small or medium organizations wouldn't even find one, and larger organizations had only a few among them. 

Gambits were also in charge of Intelligence in most organizations, and thus had a high position naturally. They were feared cause not only due to their knowledge about almost everything, but also due to their combat prowess. Unlike traditional Knowledge based jobs, Gambits require combat training as well, as such most Gambits even have a Warrior sub-profession. The most famous Gambit in the history of Gigantes, Sun Tze had said, "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles."

Thus, it can be seen how formidable a good Gambit would be, for organizations as well as any adventuring squad. It was also in line with Aser's current philosophies in regards to combat, where he would rather strategize and stay far from the opponent instead of fighting with his fists.

Looking at the moonlight streaming through the glass panel, Aser got up to and started carrying the books downstairs once more, placing them from where he had retrieved all of them previously. Finished with the work, he went back into the study room to call it a night.

While drifting off to meet the sandman, Aser realized that this was the first time he was sleeping in a new environment. Somehow, the foreign study room seemed just as cozy as his bed in the orphanage. Perhaps, it wasn't that he didn't miss the orphanage, but both seemed to not be home for him. Perhaps, he was simply born to be someone who would never have a home.

Beasts had unlocked their System during the Ancient Era, and were once the rulers of the world. A catastrophe had caused them all to go into slumber, ushering in the Venture era where humanity started leaving their settlements to explore. As civilization progressed and tensions rose, humanity fought with themselves for the large swathes of territory. Near the end of the Conquer era, the beasts started awakening from their slumber and pushed humanity to the brink of destruction. Through efforts from humanity's top leaders, the system was unlocked for man, and thus began the era of Enlightenment. 

The goal of everyone in this era is to get enlightened, to seek Ascension. Now every child, every family, every influence seek to be an Ascended like the heroes of their world. 

Aser, an Unknown child raised in an orphanage in the Southern Seas. Like others, on his 7th birthday, the system had awakened in his mind, but he realizes he's special. As he explores the mysteries of the System, our protagonist strives to excel, to prove his worth in the world of Gigantis, to find his parents and to figure out the path to Ascension.

Once school started someone had mentioned the recent tragedies. It became the talk of the school for months however now it's becoming more of a rumour. 

A boy had went missing just after I escaped. Was all this my fault? Did I cause this? Would Akari really target a boy who is quite famous? All these thoughts swivelled around my head as I walked through the neverending hall. I wasn't even paying attention of where I was going.

I had bumped into a boy. His complexion was shocking and who he was with was even more shocking.

Toga Oshikiri. He was a new student who couldn't control his powers as good as other people. He had scratch marks all around his eyes, neck, and arms. He had blood red eyes and light blue hair. His face was white. And his bones were prominent.

We both apologised. He didn't help me pick his books up. 

His powers were evaporation, invisibility and he had the ability to make your nightmares real. He had a few more but it's self explanatory and it will be mentioned later. 

"My name is Zero" I tried to start a conversation. 
"Toga Oshikiri, I've seen you around" 

His voice was quiet and soft.

"same" I said.
"You look familiar" He said. "do you have a scar on your right arm. With numbers?"

I felt the room spin. I felt my heart beat more quickly. My face drained from all colour. 

Dauyani came storming in, snatching the books from my grip. I jumped. He gave the books to Toga. 

Aika met me near the bathroom. 

I told her about my dream. Our teacher, Hideo Isao, came to see where I went. 

My sister, Ena, was with him.

He introduced me to a new student. They didn't speak. 

When I got to know them, I learned they were kidnapped when they were a child. They're family were villains. They had strong powers. Too strong.

"I am going to school."

"Watch out for cars. Be safe."

Ren tightened his shoelaces as he left his room. It's been a few days since he had again started going to school but it always felt refreshing.

'Youth sure is nice.'

Ren felt that being young was best. It's been a few days since he had became young again and Ren felt that his body was full of energy.

It's been a few days since he had transmigrated into another world and it still feels surreal to Ren. 

At first, he had thought the he will again wake up in his 47 year old body but he was relieved that it wasn't a dream.

These few days, he was also adjusting to his new life. At first, he had trouble talking to his parents but he had now adjusted to it.

He already have the memories and feelings of the previous owner, so he didn't have much trouble admitting them as his parents.

At first, it was awkward to have conversations but he gradually got used to them and the memories and feelings also helped him.

The second thing that he was doing this past week was finding information on the internet. Although he had the memories, he still felt the need to search for information.

That's why he was browsing the internet for any information and what he found was unbelievable. 

Although the history of this world only had slight difference, he found that the culture of both world was vastly different.

Nearly all the movies and songs of this world was different from his own world. Although the quality was not that different, the songs and movies were still different.

Not only the songs and movies but the stars of this world were also different. There were no Charlie Chaplin or Robert Downey Jr in this world.

All the stars and celebrities in this world was unfamiliar to him. It was also the same for books.

All the famous books like the world famous «Harry Potter series» and literary masterpieces like «Gone with the wind» are missing in this world.

Ren was sad that he will not be able to read those masterpieces again but he was also happy because this world has its own collections of books which Ren had never read before.

Their quality were also not inferior. There were also top quality literary masterpieces and intense fantasy novels in this world.

That's why he had been mostly reading those books these past few weeks.

In this world, Ren's family wasn't rich but they also don't have money problems and the previous owner had also saved up quite a bit of money.

It was his pocket money which he had saved for buying a video game which Ren had used for buying the books.

It wasn't like Ren hated video games but instead of games, he was more inclined towards books. He will rather read a book than play a game.

As he was thinking about that, he reached his high school. It was still early but there were already students entering the school.

His high school name was Gahai high school and it was a fairly old school that was famous in the area.

The school was located besides a small hill. The hill was small and only small animals like rabbits and stray dogs live there but it was a famous spot for students.

The sunset from the hill looked good and it was a popular spot for confessions and you could even see some couples there in the evening.

As he was thinking about that, he soon entered his classroom.

The atmosphere of the classroom was heavy like usual. Ren was in his third year of high school and it was the time when students are the most worried about their university exams.

Ren could see various students studying and only some students were talking among themselves. 

Those talking among themselves were also only making small talks as not to disturb the students who were studying.

Ren quickly found his seat and moved towards it. His seat was in the last row besides the window.

As soon as he sat down on his seat, his shoulder was tapped by someone. 

"Hey, Ren, did you read the light novel I lent you?"

"Yeah, I read it. It was fun."

The person who spoke to him was a average high school student. His name was Kenzaki Kei. He was his best friend.

He was a average looking youth with black hair and black eyes. Most of his features are ordinary and the only thing that stood out was his passion.

"I know, right. It was a great read. It was only the author's debut work but he really hit it off from the start. It was really entertaining and I even heard that there would be plans for a spin-off and a anime series will be also be airing soon."

"Hey, Kei, can't you keep it down."

Hearing Ren's words, Kei glanced around the classroom and saw that several people were looking at him with dissatisfied expressions.

Kei hurriedly lowered his head out of embarrassment and shame.

Kei was always like this. He always got passionate about his likes and hobbies when talking about them. His likes were also peculiar. They were light novels, mangas and anime. Overall, he was a otaku.

"Ah, it is the most embarrassing thing that had happened to me."

Hearing Kei's words, Ren snickered and said.

"Isn't the most embarrassing that happened to you was getting rejected by the school queen?"

"…..Can't you forget about that."

Kei groaned as he said with a embarrassed face.

"How can I forget about that? You fell in love with the school queen just because she smiled at you."

Kei hided his face when he heard Ren's words. It was a embarrassing moment for him. He had gone to confess to the school queen back then and he was rejected as soon as he confessed.

The school queen didn't even gave him a glance and rejected him without thinking a second.

"….I was naive back then."

"You are still naive. Haha."

Ren was already familiar with Kei after a few days of talking and they had also become good friends. Ren knew Kei will not mind his words.

Kei also didn't say anything about Ren's mocking. He knew he was just making fun of him and didn't mean it seriously. 

"The teacher is coming."

Someone shouted and the whole class turned silent hearing that. All the students hurriedly pull out their books. Even Ren and Kei pull out their textbooks.

'Slide!'

With the sound of door opening, the teacher entered the room. 

The teacher was a middle aged man in his 40s and he had a rather intellectual look on his face. He was even wearing glasses which made him look more scholarly. 

His name was Shiki sensei and he was the history teacher as well as Ren's homeroom teacher. 

He was a rather popular teacher among students because of his kind and gentle nature and his teaching methods. 

"Let's start the homeroom."

Fame, wealth, prestige, genius, destruction, despair, loss and failure.

Those are the eight words which describes Ren's life completely.

He was hailed as a genius but his arrogance led him to despair. From a genius, he became a failure.

He was just struggling with his life when fate gave him a second chance.

Now, what will he do after he found himself waking up in another world.

Beiyuan is a grassland kingdom. Horses runs around in the prairie and they seem to have a tribal like organization there.
People said that the Central Zhou and the Southern Yong martials artist there is as numerous as the star on the night skies and their martial arts is incredible.
But Beiyuan does not lack their own powerful martial artist. They could fight in horseback and one of the martial artist that Azief had met is a master in the arts of fighting with a bow and arrow.
When he tries to seek the Majusi Cult, Azief had to face many resistances from the many martial artists of Beiyuan. In Beiyuan, there is only one school and sect and that is the Majusi Cult.
He fought the Three Great Tribes of the grasslands and subdue them with his sword. Xi Feng his disciple had even the chance to fight with Tukhla and Ulhak the Envoys of the Majusi Cult.
Tukhla was the Right Envoy and Ulhak was the Left Envoy and they fought with is disciple in battle that enables Xi Feng to deepen his comprehension of the sword.
He on the other hand fought the Five Fire Protectors of the Majusi Cult, defeating all of them with five identical sword moves.
He then broke into the Majusi Cult Underground Heavenly Fire Palace.
To his surprise, he did not find the Holy lady of the Majusi Cult. Instead what he found is a parchment
Written in that parchment was the words of the Holy Lady of the Majusi
'You are not our Fated Person. The one beside you is' The words written on the parchment was very short but Azief understand it.
 When he saw those words, he laughs like he never before. The one beside him at that time was Xi Feng.
At that time, Azief knows that this place is not a place for his story. This place is a place for his disciple story.
When he was inside the Underground Heavenly Fire Palace of the Majusi Cult he also found the depository of books of the Majusi Cult. There are only a few books left but oddly enough, the books that were left inside that depository is all books about the Monkey Demon and the Enlightened Monk.
Azief then knows that the Holy Lady might also knows his true origins and that the plan that have been started by his arrivals has long been foretold.
He examines and read the books. After thinking for a while he then believes that he could see the reason why that person wanted him here.
He connects the dots and he believes he had found one part of the puzzle.
The person who planned all of this were very smart and very powerful with many means. This is manipulating Karma. This is manipulating destiny
This is manipulating Fate.
He remembers the hole on that palm, and the locations he falls into, is all very convenient for him. But it also forms Karma between him and whoever planned all this.
He also reads the story of how before the Demon Monkey left for his ascension, he extended his Golden Heavenly Staff piercing up into the skies.
That hole might be formed when that happens which means the Monkey Demon had ben waiting for him since ages ago,
He believes the one that planned all of this is either the Monkey Demon or the Enlightened Monk.
He kept this in his mind as he wonders how would the Demon Monkey would cut the karmic ties between them at that time.
Thus, he went out from the grassland. He spares the Envoys of the Majusi Cult and its Five Fire Protector and did not kill those who fought him.
instead he just hurts them and leave the Underground Heavenly Fire Palace intact. He did not visit Dong Xia. Instead he went down to Zhou Empire.
It was already delayed at that time.
The Zhou Empire had many grandmaster and as such Azief was excited to test his skill against grandmaster and see their skills so that he could add more content into his already powerful manuals of martial arts that he was about to create
But he also knows that the journey down would not be easy for his disciple and the Three Devils of Han.
After all, many rumors named him as the one that kills the two Emperor with one sword strike. And he did not deny it.
The new Emperor would surely retaliate else how could they maintain imperial dignity.
And like he suspected, the moment he set on the Zhou Empire, the martial artist of the imperial family surges out from the forest near the border to ambush him.
This time he did not kill them himself.
He lets Xi Feng protected him as he analyzes those martial artist technique, increasing his comprehension of martial arts and the methods of internal energy
The previous Zhou Emperor was killed by Azief sword light and it is isn't unreasonable that they have to send some people to at least try to kill him.
And their plans were very ingenious. They pretended to be some kind of travelling merchant who were being robbed.
They did not reveal their intention until after Azief eats the poisoned food. Unfortunately, what they didn't know is that Azief body is immune to any kind of mortal poisons.
As such, their plans from the very beginning was destined to be doomed. At Zhou, the forces of the imperial family were displayed.
The new Emperor Ji Chang were determined to avenge his father, Emperor Wen of Zhou and he send around five thousand soldier.
Those five thousand soldiers all make their graves inside that forest.
Then the wheelchair keeps on moving forward, coming out from that forest. The sword still on his lap, stainless and his black robe did not seem to be stained even by one droplet of blood.
Then it kept moving.
Azief at the time did not have enmity with the new Emperor. He did not care whether the world of martial arts being controlled by the imperial dynasties or the martial arts world.
What is important to him is the matter of his disciple.
Thus, he sends that sword strike that pierces through the barrier of Time and Space, to kill two Emperors, winning him eternal fame
That sword strike is still being discussed by many martial artists.
They could not believe that such a sword strike could exist in the world. Azief himself has heard the title that the people have given him.
The Sword God is the most famous. But there is another that is just as famous as that.
The Number One Swordsman in the World!
No one believes that any other grandmaster level martial artist could execute such sword strike that went beyond normal imagination.
Even when the founder of the Sword Residence beheads the Zhou Emperor, he did not have such technique. If not, why would he had to flee?
But the Sword God, when he executes that two killing sword light, he was at the top of the Five Element Mountains fighting the forces of the two imperial dynasties.
When he executes that sword strike, the martial artist there could see that of the infinite sword lights and sword will infused in that sword strike, two sword light diverged from the straight strike and disappeared.
Many believe that two sword light is the sword light that kills the two Emperor. Which means the Sword God had killed a person thousands of miles away.
After killing those two Emperor he did not do anything else. He was minding his own business, searching for his path.
But as the harassment from the Zhou imperial government began delaying his journey, Azief had decided to change direction.
The wheelchair moves toward the imperial city.
The news immediately made the round as it was spread by Curtain Rollers organization, a gathering and spreading information organization in the martial arts world
The Sword God was coming to the imperial city and the martial arts world were alarmed. What is his intention? Did the Emperor of Zhou push the Sword God too much?
Would another beheading of dragon happen?
If the Sword God wanted to kill the new Emperor, then what happens next? No one doubted that the Sword God could kill the new Emperor. However, should the Sword God kill the Emperor?
Grandmaster level martial practitioner usually train in seclusion, appearing only when there is a large matters and they rarely interfere in the matters of the mundane world.
That is the conduct of the many grandmasters.

The storytellers had even made a chapter of that story. They title the event "The Sword God Teaching the Sword Demon"
From the story, the Sword God was on wheelchair and said to his disciple
'Since you have been working hard, let me show you how to use a sword' His gaze was described as sharp as a sword and his demeanor was described as being one with the sword.
The Sword God then caress the sword on his lap as his wheelchair moves pass many famous martial artists in the world of martial arts.
All of them was silent and not daring doing anything or spoke anything to gain the attention of the Sword God.
The Sword God then ask his disciple
'Out of these many people, who do you think are spies who become the dog of the imperial dynasties and who of them are innocent?'
The Sword Demon shakes his head and the Sword God reply with
 'Then why not cut them all apart?' At that time, those who were there all felt like their heart feel down and everyone unconsciously sweats and hold their weapons tighter.
The Sword Demon then said
'Master, if you do that you would become the enemy of the world' The Sword God laughed and then said domineeringly
'What is the problem then? Then cut the world too!' And the Sword God laughed.
The Sword god then proceeds to teach the Sword Demon how to kill and carved a name for himself in history.
From that story alone, one could see that the Sword God did not fear becoming enemies with the whole world.
Since no one could withstand the sword in his hand, he had nothing to fear.
But, the world could not handle such upheaval again if the Emperor were killed. Chaos would reign and the newly stabilized Empire would once again be chaotic.

PS: The SS stones is not determined by me. It is determined by how long the chapter is. I have taken steps to cut some of the chapters but there are some chapters that could not be cut as it would obstruct the story.

And a chapter is usually ten thousand word each. I have taken steps to cut it and make it into part sized in the later part of the story because many were complaining and thought I was the one that determines the SS so I hope this answers your question.
