This story is just something im writing whenever i get bored or have time to write. 

Story is about a famous Dj who meets a girl at a festival he's performing at and instantly falls in love. They have to deal with fame,jealousy,and family drama along the way. 

This story isn't supposed to be serious its based off a dream i had one night.

Gulliver was traveling through the East Indies in Asia when he was shipwrecked. He swam to an unfamiliar shore for survival. When Gulliver found himself in the custody of a large group of tiny people, he became worried and upset. He was presented to the Emperor of Lilliput. Upon getting the assurances from Gulliver, the Emperor ordered his armed army personnel to release him and allowed him to live in Lilliput. Gulliver showed a good behavior while living with the tiny people and helped them solve many of their problems. However, he did not fulfill the orders of the Emperor to enslave the Blefuscudians and reduce the country to Lilliput. This refusal of Gulliver led him to the anger of the Emperor who sentenced him to be blinded. Gulliver became frightened because of the situation and managed to swim over to Blefusco for survival. The people of Blefusco welcomed Gulliver and did not return him to the Lilliputians even after getting their message to hand him over. Meanwhile, he was rescued by an English ship, which was passing by the island. The journey came to its end with the return of Gulliver back to his home.

Let us now discuss Gulliver's experience to Lilliput and answer some questions related to his own country's religion, politics, morality, and self-awareness in accordance with the thesis statement mentioned above.

A journey to a new place makes a person aware of his/her country's politics. In the first journey of Gulliver, he was imprisoned by the Lilliputians. His imprisonment and struggle for freedom reveal the political aspect of the journey. The king ordered to make Gulliver blind so that he could see the world he way the king wanted to show him. "It would be sufficient for you to see by the eyes of the ministers" (Black 341). If we talk about Gulliver's own country, England, we can say that at that time, England was the most powerful country of the world. England was perceived as the center of the world politics. There were two main parties, which included High heels, the conservative ones and Low Heels, the progressive ones.

A journey to a new place makes a person aware of his/her country's religion. Along with describing the political mindset of Lilliputians, Gulliver also highlighted their superstitious mindset. "They bury their dead with their heads directly downward, because they hold an opinion, that in eleven thousand moons they are all to rise again" (Swift 61). The Lilliputians seemed to be superstitious and used to fight against those who were accused of making schisms in religion. Gulliver seemed to be criticizing the religious beliefs of both Lilliputians and the English. He was being mocked for the religious war that was going on in England.

The journey to Lilliput made Gulliver aware of the morality of the Lilliputians. Lilliputians took good care of Gulliver and provided him with every comfort that they could. Lilliputians also ensured his safety. "Gulliver is given a strong guard to protect him" ("Gulliver's Travels"). However, the response of the Emperor towards Gulliver upon not obeying his commands destroyed the image of Lilliputians. Gulliver found himself superior to Lilliputians because of his high morals. He believed that his own country's morality to be very high as compared to morality of the Lilliputians.

The journey to Lilliput also made Gulliver aware of his own personality. He learned that morality is more than anything to a person is. He learned that a person should not fulfill the wrong orders of anyone, as he disobeyed the Emperor in the voyage to Lilliput. He also revealed his caring and loving nature in the book. "My gentleness and good behavior had gained so far on the emperor and his court" (Swift 32).

Summing it up, a journey to a new place makes a person aware of his/her country's politics, religion, and cultural norms and values. Gulliver's journey to lilliput was full of experiences and adventures, which formed the most attractive part of the whole book.

Tina "Not tonight, we have to get up very early tomorrow morning and your friends have exhausted me psychologically. About that: I've never met such fools before."

Jules "How I understand you! Are you still worried about this festival? Everything will be fine, no need to stress for so little. We've sold a lot of albums in Europe so relax."

Tina "We are starting and we can disappear as quickly as we appeared. People will quickly forget us if our concerts are bad. That's why I want to do my best. You should stress yourself a little more, Jules."

Jules "No wonder you're exhausted. You take care of everything. I don't know much about it, but why did you refuse the manager Sony offered us? I think it was a huge mistake on your part. Oh, what the hell is that?"

Tina "You are really insatiable. Okay, but only once and then you sleep."

Yes, in two months a lot has changed. After our concert, a man in a suit asked us to meet him in a very chic restaurant. Of course we didn't refuse. Who would refuse free high-end food in a famous restaurant? Personally, I didn't listen to anything this man said during that dinner because I was very focused on my meal, which was more like a work of art than a mashed-steak. I'm not such a fool that I'm wasting my time interested in the words of a stranger when free food is served to me at will. 

My group members then explained to me what they had been talking about throughout that dinner. This generous man in costume represented a musical label who was interested in us since some time, but this concert was a test to check our abilities in front of a larger audience. Fuckers, they had us trapped. That was my first thought. But when I was introduced to the contracts, strangely enough, my idea of these people changed completely. All these men are so generous, I'd lick their shoes if they asked me. That very evening we signed. 

In the following days, we recorded our first album, then everything went very fast, too fast. The album has already sold more than 309,000 copies in Europe, 32,000 in Asia and only 11,000 in the United States. How difficult it is for us humble Europeans to reach the kings of music. But sometimes I get angry. The members of my group, for some reason I don't know, don't allow me to speak during the few interviews we had. 

What could be the reason? Mystery to be solved as soon as possible. Thanks to the money we have earned, we are renting this beautiful apartment. Tina and Stan bought a nice car and when it comes to me a new laptop with the best video card you can find on the market. Life has become beautiful but tiring. The very positive thing: I escape this pain in the ass that high school, very often.

Tomorrow we go to England for a festival but once again Tina is anxious. It's her fault, she plays the role of manager, she's stressed but she refuses to test my method, which is so effective, which consists in farting a blow to release the pressure. Sometimes she yells at me when I evacuate my overflow under the sheets, but is it my fault if my body thinks it's time to let go of the gas? Anyway, I can't thank Diego enough for allowing me to see all these tits live shaking in front of me and shouting my name. Tits are life and we live for tits.

Tina "Jules, get your hands off your sex, I don't want to change the sheets in the middle of the night."

Jules "No problem, I have padded underwear."

It's 3:00 in the morning and a annoying woman shakes me while I was sleeping so well. I have absolutely no strength or desire to get up. Why can't we fly and have to take the train to England? Even if I hate this means of transport, the plane would have been more practical: Besides, Stan and Diego will travel by plane, even our equipment is flying away, but not us. 

Explanation: "Oh, I wish I could go under the sea, see the fish and underwater life forms with you, while I'm on a train. It must be very romantic, don't you think?" 

Girls sometimes say things so absurd that it's really tiring. Fortunately her car has massage seats because otherwise, I would have refused this stupid trip.

Tina "Jules, get your fat ass up. We have to be in Montparnasse at 5:00am and you're playing lazy. This is really not the time."

Jules "Give me another hour and I'll get up."

Tina "As you wish. Big-breasted fans won't be waiting for you."

Jules "Oh fuck, we have to hurry. Do you know if I have any clean underwear left."

Tina "Sometimes I wonder what I'm doing with a pig like you."

Jules "Shit, I forgot to prepare my clothes for these three days"

Tina "I prepared them."

Jules "Where is my passport?"

Tina "I took it because I found it on a pizza in the refrigerator."

Jules "My wallet."

Tina "On your bag."

Jules "You see, you always say I'm not conscientious but I'm already ready to go."


As he reached the shop entrance, Zhang Zian saw a dark shadow flash by the door from the inside, as if Richard flew away in a panic as soon as it saw him. 
After entering the store, he took a quick glance at Lu Yiyun. She had a weird look on her face. She had shifty eyes and her head was bowed low, like she was trying to hide something. 
He had too many things to think about, and didn't have the time to deal with her weird behavior. Maybe she was trying to decide whether or not to go back home for the Spring Festival.　　
Once inside, he fed the roasted meat to the hungry elfins, who were on the verge of an outrage. 　　
Fina and Snowy Lionet couldn't wait any longer and immediately feasted on their meal. These two had barely moved all day, but somehow still had a huge appetite.　　
Old Time Tea's table manners were much more civilized. It took of its bamboo hat, wiped its paws with the wet wipes that Zhang Zian had gotten out, and slowly started eating.
Richard also fluttered its wings and asked for food. Zhang Zian fed it nuts and chopped vegetables. It babbled on about Billy as it ate. It looked like even food couldn't stop it from talking.　　
He took out his phone so he could talk to Sun Xiaomeng about keeping the cats in the diner. Old Time Tea swallowed a mouthful of roasted meat and asked, "Zian, did you buy anything for the festival? The prices will go up on everything the closer it gets to the Spring Festival."　
"There's nothing I need to buy. It's better to buy fresh vegetables anyways, as needed. It's okay if it costs a little bit more." He smiled. 　　
"Don't you need firecrackers and fireworks? I always feel like the festival spirit in Binhai City is disappointing. It's never festive here." Old Time Tea sadly spoke as it looked through the glass door.　　
This was the first Spring Festival the elfins had in the pet shop, including Old Time Tea. It was expected that the other elfins were less interested in the traditional Chinese New Year. But for Old Time Tea, who had a strong sense of tradition, it felt like it was missing out on the traditional festival experience.　　
Zhang Zian had also celebrated festive New Years in his childhood. But as fireworks were gradually becoming banned in major cities, and as people had a growing variety of entertainment activities in their lives, the traditional Spring Festival was getting less popular. Old Time Tea was not the only one that sensed the fading festivity levels. Zhang Zian and many others felt the same way.　　
But there was nothing they could do about it. This was the price of passing time and advancement.　　
Zhang Zian explained why firecrackers were banned, which was mostly because of the effects on air quality and injuries caused by fireworks.　　
Old Time Tea grunted "Oh", and expressed its understanding while stroking its beard. Sorrow was written all over its face. It murmured, "Another year ended with the sound of firecrackers, and the spring breeze is bringing warmth to the air."　　
After the Spring Festival, Old Time Tea will have gained another year to its age. It was probably expressing its sentiments on its youth, which was gone forever.　　
Zhang Zian didn't want it to stay sad, and smiled. "It's okay, Old Time Tea. The firecrackers are only banned in the city. We can still head to the suburbs during the Spring Festival. They haven't banned firecrackers over there."　　
Old Time Tea smiled too. "It doesn't matter. I'm just contemplating. Zian, go on ahead with your business. Pi isn't doing so well, so you should spend more time with it."　
As it finished talking, it continued on with its dinner and TV.　　
Zhang Zian wanted to say something to comfort Old Time Tea, but couldn't manage to utter a word each time he opened his mouth. He knew that life and death would eventually happen to everybody. However, were the elfins bound by same things, as creatures born with the Strength of Faith?
He took another glance at Fina and Snowy Lionet, who were still devouring the roasted meat. Snowy Lionet noticed his gaze, and stared at him fiercely while tilting its head, pieces of meat sticking to its nose.　　
Fina and Snowy Lionet were still in their prime years. But one day, they would age as well, just like Old Time Tea.　
He went upstairs, and saw that the lights were off in the living room. Pi's face was reflected on the monitor screen. It had put on the clip-on glasses again, and was typing slowly. It was either in a bad mood, or having trouble writing the story. 　　
"Pi, why don't you turn the lights on? It's bad for your eyes to use the computer in the dark."　　
He turned the lights on and drew open the curtains.　　
The titleless book was open, placed by the computer. A page fluttered in the breeze as Zhang Zian drew open the curtains, making him think of a line of a poem from the past: The breeze knew no words. But why did it make the pages turn?　　
In front of the book, he was the breeze that knew no words.　　
"Eek." Pi scratched its head as if it suddenly realized something. It appeared to have forgotten about its surroundings, as it was too focused.　　
"Pi, get up and take a break. You can continue writing after getting some rest." Zhang Zian pointed at the basket hammock.　
Pi nodded, as Zhang Zian took it ito the hammock.　　
Although it wasn't the first time that he'd held it, Zhang Zian felt that it was too light, like a baby, small and fragile.　　
"Eek?"　　
Pi made a gesture to ask where he had went just now.　　
"I went to Sun Xiaomeng's pet clinic. You know it. Then I talked a bit with a math professor," replied Zhang Zian. Pi had never met Sun Xiaomeng before. But since it knew everything about the past, it knew everything about Sun Xiaomeng.　
Pi blinked, as if it was interested in the word math.　
Zhang Zian picked up the untitled book. He wasn't wearing the glasses, and the pages were blank. He casually flipped through it, and switched to a more relaxed topic. "Let me ask you a question."　　
"Eek?" Pi tilted its head in confusion.　　
"This is a book about life, the universe, and everything else." Zhang Zian handed the book to it, then asked half jokingly, "Since it's about life, why did it never talk about how to extend one's life, or how to have an eternal life? You may not know this, but I'm afraid to die. So many emperors in ancient China have sought after the elixir of life, but why have none of them found it yet?"　　
Pi picked up the book, flipped the pages carefully, and then shook its head.　　
The answer was what Zhang Zian expected. There wasn't any proof of the elixir of life. If everybody could be immortal, the Earth's population would explode.
"How about elfins? Can elfins' lives be extended?" he asked casually.　
Pi picked up the book again and flipped through it. This time it took a longer time. It scratched it head and frowned, as if it was encountering a difficult puzzle.　
It didn't immediately deny the possibility, which gave Zhang Zian a little hope. If there wasn't any hope, he could only accept the fact that Old Time Tea was getting older. But now, with a slight chance, he cared about it even more, and was afraid of getting disappointed.　
After another moment, Pi finally put the book down, and nodded yes with a serious expression.
"Oh? Really? An elfin's life can be extended?" Zhang Zian quickly got excited. "How do you extend it?"　　
Pi pointed at the laptop, asking for Zhang Zian to bring it over.　　
It typed, The time has not come yet. The future is still undetermined.　　
Zhang Zian thought about these words back and forth. Although the time hadn't come yet, it was definitely good to know that life could be extended. It was like the difference between zero and one.　　
"Extendable by how much? Two years? Three?" he asked again, trying not to be too hopeful.　　
Pi typed, Indefinitely.

Natsu was at the Kenjutsu Club Room as he had a bandage on his cheek from his duel against Kyria a few days back
The man cracks his neck around as he rubs his neck before going back to his reading
"geez, I still can't believe that you were holding back the whole time" Mira said eating her lunch as the result of Natsu's battle against Kyria ended in his victory and Kyria losing her title as an Empress "do you ever go full out?"
"if I did, the school and everyone in it would be melted and burned to the ground" Natsu said as he reads his book before closing it and sigh "and besides, who would go out on a mere hatchling?"
"I see your point there" Erza said holding a cup of tea
"but that battle style of yours. Do you have a specific battle style?" Kagura asked
"I don't" Natsu replied as he drinks his cup of tea before being poured more by Ikaruga "I go with the flow; swords, firearms, magic, anything that can be use as a weapon I can use"
"a force to be reckon" Éclair said smiling
"seems so" Ikaruga added in
"now that Kyria lost her title as an Empress, things at school been peaceful for some reason" Ultear said with a smile "I guess Kyria's defeat inflicted a positive impact"
"um" Lucy voiced out as she had been quiet in the conversation until now "it's good and all that you won against Kyria-senpai, but…."
Lucy looks quite frantic as she wore some sort of highly ranked military uniform on "why did you pick me as the new Empress?!"
"there were no one else" Natsu said closing his left eye "Éclair is not one fit for battle if she got challenged as an Empress, and I don't know anyone else who should become an Empress"
"so are you saying that I'm the last choice?" Lucy said as Natsu nodded
"something like that" Natsu replied as Lucy cried in tears
"why did I even ask?" Lucy whined
"just deal with it, being an Empress isn't hard at all" Mira said taking a sip of her tea "all you have to do is just be the leader of your club and that's all"
"that is just your thinking" Kagura stated "being an Empress and a leader of a club is no easy task"
"that's how I do it every single day" Mira said taking a bite of her rice
"and that's why only a few Empress always goes to the meeting" Erza said sighing
"what meeting?" Natsu asked curious
"well, if there are any School Events, or anything related to the school, the Seven Empress will always hold a meeting for it" Ultear explained to him "in this case, for the coming Cultural Festival"
"the only members that comes to the meeting are me, Kagura, Minerva, Ikaruga, and Ultear. Mira and Kyria always never comes" Erza said sighing before rubbing her forehead "this is why there is so much paperwork because of them"
"we expect you to come, Lucy. You're a new Empress so you have to take full responsibility of your new title" Kagura said as she had a serious stare "or you'll regret ever becoming one"
"y-Yes!" Lucy exclaimed with a salute while inside she was crying "but I never wanted to become one!"
"speaking of festival, what's this about Class Projects? I heard something of Maid, Game or something" Natsu asked as he sips his tea before sighing "some sort of tradition"
"nearly the same" Mira said "each time there is a Cultural Festival, each class have to held up any type of event they want, this also helps you gain a rank up in the Final Advancement Exam"
"hmmm" Natsu hummed in amusement as he sips his tea
"didn't we already told you the last time?" Lucy asked
Natsu hummed as he rubs his chin trying to remember but the only thing that he remembered was reading his book
"guess I forgot" Natsu said as Lucy sighs
"in note to your forgetfulness, everyone in class had already decided the theme event" Lucy said as Natsu looks to her and raised an eyebrow "it's going to be a Maid Café"
"why does it sound like there is more to it?" Ultear asked as Lucy nodded
"it was set for the Maid Café, but since I got picked as the head of the preparation and I'm now a Empress, it's going to be a hard task for me to do both" Lucy said crossing her hands and sigh "it's already hard being the head of the class preparation but there's still going to be the meeting of the Empresses"
"then how about leave it to me?" Natsu said as everyone looks to him "I'll take care of the Empress Meeting. you just take care of the Class Cultural Preparation"
"I don't think you can do that, it's called an 'Empress' Meeting, that means it's only members of the Seven Empress" Mira said
"forgot who I am?" Natsu asked with a small smirk
"Dragon Emperor, Salamander" Ultear said smiling
"correct" Natsu said "I don't give a damn of the rules, rules are meant to be broken in the first place"
"right about that" Mira said with a grin
 
School was soon over as some students went home while some stayed behind to prepare for the coming Cultural Festival
Natsu's copies were helping the class and the clubs while the original was in a meeting with the Empress
 
In a grand room where there are seven seats around as all current members of the Empress took their seat with the exceptions of one that is Natsu
"what is the meaning of this?" Minerva said sitting on her seat and had her arms and legs crossed in a superior like stance "why is this man here?"
"I have a name" Natsu said, sitting in his seat while reading his book with a cup of tea on a table beside him "and that is the Dragon Emperor, Salamander"
"you, you dare to show yourselves here?" Minerva asked as her eyes keen at Natsu
"I could ask the same to you" Natsu said closing his book with his eyes closed before opening "miss. Cooking Club Leader"
"you! Why do you!?" Minerva exclaimed while her cheeks were a bit red
"how do I know? It's simply because I'm also a member of your club, Minerva Orland" Natsu said "being absent of your own club can cause some mistrust with your members, you know?"
Minerva gritted her teeth as she glared at Natsu
"enough" Erza said as she sat in her seat "we are here to discuss the coming Cultural Festival, not bicker against one another"
"you took his side, Scarlet? I guess a weak dog sticks to their master" Minerva said smirking
"say what you want" Erza said closing her eyes "I stick with those who truly cherish friendship, unlike you"
"ho?" Minerva said in amusement
"ahem! now that we are all acquainted with each other, let's begin the meeting" Kagura said as she wore some glasses on
"don't those look nice on you?" Natsu complimented her with a smile
"r-really?" Kagura said blushing a bit to the compliment
"yes, it brings more charm to you" Natsu said smiling a bit
"i-I see!" Kagura said as Erza and Mira's eyebrows twitched a bit
Papers floated around as a few pages floated in front of them all
"just like the last meeting; security division, and field Maintenance division are still empty slots" Erza said wearing some glasses on
"what are the divisions that are already taken?" Natsu asked as he looks at the pages
"budgeting, accounting, and Hospitality" Mira answered while wearing some glasses
"since when you were glasses?" Erza said seeing Mira with glasses
"my eyesight is getting bad these days" Mira answered as Erza squinted her eyes
"I'm guessing that Erza took the Budgeting, Kagura on the accounting, the Hospitality?" Natsu said before looking to either Minerva, Ikaruga, Ultear, and Mira "who?"
"me" Ikaruga said with a hand raise
"why am I not surprised?" Natsu said with a chuckle as he looks at the pages and his eyes scanned the content "I'll take them all"
"excuse me?" Minerva said "you? Take all the leftover divisions? How gloating"
"you'll be surprised on how he divides himself during the festival, Minerva" Ultear said with a smile as Minerva squinted her eyes at Ultear
"appreciate on the self-Volunteering, but are you sure you can handle this much?" Kagura asked "even for you, this might be a stressful job"
"I'll help on the Security Division" Mira said "having more hands is better"
"thanks" Natsu said while looking at the pages
"then I'll help on the Maintenance Division" Ultear said volunteering to help Natsu
"ok, but just for a few hours at the most. We have a scheduled performance for the swimming club after all" Natsu said as he took off his glasses and cleans them a bit
"I'm amazed that you remembered the entire schedule," Ikaruga said as Natsu drinks his cup of tea which was brewed by her
"goes to show that he's an Emperor after all" Mira said grinning
 
Night soon came as the school was still filled with some students who are staying behind to prepare for the coming festival
Natsu was at the school track field as he watched some clubs preparing for a play or something on the built stage
"a play, huh?" Natsu said as he crossed his arms while watching some students doing a rehearsal act on the stage
Demonic Natsu soon appeared as he floats around in the air
"bored?" Natsu said sensing his other self's appearance
"in a way" Demonic Natsu said floating around, minding his own business
"you've been rather dormant ever since I defeated Kyria a few days back, why?" Natsu asked as he took a glance at his Demonic Self who floats around before disappearing
"not talkative like usual, huh?" Natsu thought before he started walking away
 
Natsu walks around in the school as he yawned form the fact that it was night and some students were going to sleep in for the night
Tomorrow is Saturday, so there is no school. A perfect opportunity to practice hard for the coming Cultural Festival
"Happy should be asleep by now" Natsu said thinking of what his pet cat might be doing at the time
As Natsu walks around, he bumps into Minerva as he was about to run the corner
"you, huh?" Natsu said as Minerva's eyes keened on him "staying tonight, Tigress?"
"why do you want to know?" Minerva retorted in a harsh tone before turning to leave
As Minerva walks away, Natsu noticed that she had a pink towel wrapped up with strings in her hand
"nice apron, just went out of the Cooking club?" Natsu said as Minerva stops in her tracks, and Natsu could tell that she had an embarrassed blush on her face "making a late-night snack? Or simply something else?"
"s-silence!" Minerva exclaimed as she walked off away
Natsu chuckled as he looks amused by her reaction
"I'm starting to act like him" Natsu said as he walks to the corner hallway
 
Natsu went to the library as it was quiet and no one other than him was in there
He leans against his chair as he holds up his book above him while he reads
"peace and quiet" Natsu muttered out as he reads his book while flipping a page
An hour in the library, Natsu closed his book as he had finished reading it to the whole pages
"I need to get a new book after the festival" Natsu said rubbing the bridge of his nose before yawning
Natsu closed his eyes as he looks to what his copies were doing, and sure enough, everyone with them had went home or sleep in the school
"the Dance Club will have some people, better go to the Kenjutsu Club where there's only Ikaruga there" Natsu said as he stood up from his seat and stretched his hands up before to the side
He walked out of his seat as he was going to head to the Kenjutsu Club room
As Natsu was about to reach the door, he sensed a presence
He took a glance behind as he saw a shadow in the corner of his eyes
"who is here?" Natsu spoke out turning towards the shadow as it runs to the corner
Natsu looks at where the shadow was as he went to investigate
Going to the corner of the library, Natsu stealthily went to check
He quickly turns as he finds Happy scratching the wooden shelves
"you" Natsu said sighing as he grabs Happy and carries him up before scratching its head "you got out again, huh?"
Happy meowed as the feline purred to Natsu's scratches
"it's already night and by the time we get back home, it's going to be morning" Natsu said as Happy climbed up to his shoulder "let's go and get some sleep, alright?"
Happy meowed in response as Natsu went out of the library without knowing that he was being watched in the shadow
Two glowing red eyes appeared in the shadows before it disappeared
"….Natsu…sama…."

"That's not Jennifer Cooper. Doesn't matter if she's fifteen, my Jennifer looks totally different."
'What's going on?' Noriko wondered silently.
At her side Noriko felt Urufu stiffen.
"My name is Jennifer Cooper. I never said I knew you. They did," Coperu-san said and pointed at her and Urufu. Coperu-san until she joined the club. After that she'd become Jeniferu-chan despite being a stranger. Those were club rules.
"What?" Urufu said. "You're Jennifer but she's not Jennifer?" he continued. Noriko saw him looking from one face to another.
"She's not Jennifer."
"I'm Jennifer!"
"You're not!"
"I am."
"Wait, please be silent," Noriko tried. Then she saw the entire door to 3:1 filled with apprehensive faces. "Let's continue this somewhere else," she added.
Her last words had both Coperu-san and Tomasu-kun look at the door to 3:1, and they fell silent. One after another they nodded.
"Urufu, cafeteria?"
He shifted his attention from the freshmen to her. "No space left, but maybe under the sails?"
While Noriko doubted they'd have any better luck there, it should be enough to convince the two newcomers to follow them downstairs. With Kareyoshi disrupting the lives of the Himekaizen students, Noriko wanted to stay away from any commotions on the school grounds.
"Sure," she said, making it sound like she agreed with Urufu's idea. "We buy some grub and take it outdoors."
As they walked downstairs Coperu-san asked the question Noriko waited for. "Under the sails?"
"That's what we call the sunshades between the wings outside the cafeteria," Noriko explained.
"Won't that be cold during winter?"
'Huh?' Only a few sat there after the cultural festival early October, but it was still a strange reflection to make. "Yes, why?" Noriko asked, fishing for more information.
Coperu-san smiled. "I was thinking of all the snow and that."
'Snow?' Then an idea struck Noriko. "Do you have a lot of snow where you come from?" she tried.
They were almost at the cafeteria entrance before Coperu-san answered that question. Amidst the low thunder of conversations among the tables came the tell-tale question. "It snows less here than in New England?"
Noriko didn't know much about New England, but the question in itself suggested Coperu-san had moved here recently rather than having spent one year in middle school like Urufu and Kuri, or Tomasu-kun for that matter. 'Is she even from the same world as Urufu and Kuri, and Tomasu-kun for that matter.' "How old are you?" Noriko asked, just to test her suspicion.
There was just a little hesitation, just a little, but there should have been none, or a very long one.
"Fifteen."
"Subjective or objective?" Noriko asked. She didn't understand herself from where that question came.
A few steps below her she saw Urufu stiffen and turn to stare at her. 'So you heard, didn't you? Don't you know it's impolite to eavesdrop?' Noriko shot him her best smile, hoping it didn't come out too much like a smirk. While she wasn't oblivious enough to fail understanding she was seen as cute, Noriko also knew she had nothing on Kuri. The only times anyone had called her smile beautiful was when she was taken by surprise. Only Kuri could deliver a devastating smile on demand.
"What do you mean?" Coperu-san said as they landed on the entrance floor.
Noriko pulled her aside and stared into the eyes of the girl, because by now she was dead certain it was really just a girl. "If you can't answer that question you shouldn't even be here."
In return she only got a hostile glare. "I'm fifteen. Not fifteen and forty, or whatever. So what? Don't you think you should try to make friends with me now when I know about you?"
'Is she threatening me?' Noriko was on the verge of retorting when she thought the better of it, and instead she just dragged the freshman foreigner to the cafeteria queue. She had just caught up with Urufu, who flashed her a naughty grin and shook his head when two things happened at the same time.
Her idiot brother sailed into view with Kuri on his arms, and Urufu's grin was gone in an instant.
Noriko's phone came alive, and she took it out of her blazer pocket and clicked open Nao's line message.
Hours later she still couldn't believe it, hours she spent with Kuri and Kyoko who rushed to join them. But that was hours later.
Noriko just had time to see how the joyful flare went out in Urufu's eyes before she saw what Nao had written.
"Slept with one of the models. Maybe we should break up."
A brittle sound of metal and glass echoed from her feet and spread out in the cafeteria until it died, soaked up by juniors and seniors who didn't even notice how her new school year shattered in a moment. Only a few noticed that something had happened, but they stared at her feet, just like she did.
'Nao cheated on me?'
Faint gusts of wind reached her whenever someone opened the doors to the back of the cafeteria.
'Nao cheated on me?'
The sound of running feet reached her ears. Maybe someone had noticed that something was wrong with her.
'But I love him.'
"Noriko, what's wrong? Is there anything..." Urufu's voice.
"Not you. I'll handle this. Ryu, Ulf needs your help." Kuri's voice. "Pick up her phone!"
'It hurts. It hurts so much!'
Suddenly slender arms wrapped around her, and Noriko felt how she was dragged out of the cafeteria to the shoe lockers.
'How can it hurt this much?' He phone was gone. Maybe she had forgotten it back home, but then how could she hurt like this? 'Come on Noriko. There has to be a sensible reason to this. You just need to figure it out.' Because that was what she did. Figure out sensible reasons.
"I don't feel too well. I'm going home," Noriko said as she pulled her loafers from her locker.
She was halfway across the school yard before she noticed how wet her face was, as if it rained. A salty rain.

When Xia Ning finally put Enoch to sleep, she picked him up and was ready to take him back to his bedroom. Qiao Yu walked over.
"Let me do it." As he spoke, he took his son from her arms and walked towards the bedroom.
Xia Ning followed Qiao Yu into the room. She saw him putting Enoch in bed carefully with experience. He took off his clothes and tucked him in.
Her eyes moved from Enoch to him. His face looked extremely soft from the side, his actions even gentler.
It had never occurred to her that the arrogant, cold man would one day be so meticulous and gentle.
Maybe just as she thought before, she never really understood him.
Qiao Yu suddenly turned around and caught Xia Ning's eyes. His eyes flashed with question. "What's the matter?"
Xia Ning came back to herself and avoided his eyes. She walked outside.
Qiao Yu followed her out.
"It's getting late. I need to go back." Xia Ning walked to the door and wanted to open it. Just when her hand reached the handle, a big hand covered it.
Behind her, a warm body approached. A familiar smell immediately wafted into her nose. Her entire body shivered and a weird feeling came to her heart. It felt ticklish and went straight to her heart.
"Let me open the door for you." His low voice was right beside her ears, like a dream. It felt somewhat tempting.
Who the heck wanted you to open the door? Xia Ning turned around and looked back at the man behind her. "Qiao Yu, you…" Her eyes suddenly fell into the man's eyes that were as deep as the ocean. Her heart skipped a beat.
Qiao Yu was looking back at her as well. Her charming lips and her confused look. Their lips were about five centimeters apart. He could hear her breath. The temperature around them was getting higher.
With her light and fresh smell from her body wash, he had the urge to pull her into his arms and kiss her hard.
Xia Ning realized she zoned out just now. Her face changed and wanted to get away from him. But his arms limited her movements. She glared at him with her heart pumping nervously. What did he want to do? 
Suddenly, the weight on her arms was lifted. The man in front of her stepped back.
Xia Ning felt instant relief. She was just over-thinking. She darted a look at him before she turned around and opened the door to leave without hesitation.
Qiao Yu saw the closed door and pressed his lips together. There are more days to come.
Back in her room, Xia Ning shut the door and leaned against the door. She raised her hand to her chest. Her heart just went through a fever.
Beauty was indeed seductive. She was almost tempted by him, just like before. That was embarrassing!
She cleaned herself up and went straight to bed, where she fell asleep slowly.
In the River Cam, a few small boats were moving forward. The students in them were looking at the scenery on the banks comfortably.
"No wonder Xu Zhimo[1] would be able to write something like 'Taking Leave of Cambridge Again'. Being here for so long, I don't even want to go back," an international student said with a smile.
"Your family business is in China, not in England. If you don't go back, do you just want to waste your time and fool around here?" another student teased.
Xia Ning was sitting towards the side, reading a book with boredom. She was not really close to these people, but they would always ask her to join them when they came out. Since she grew up here in England, she was more familiar with everything. With her here, they felt more relaxed.

I then ask Howard about his privacy cone and could not hid my interest when he inform me that it could be permanently attached to cybernetics like my arm. Since I was thinking of upgrading my cybernetics, I got the product webpage from Howard. While we were eating, Jaya called.
He had made enquiries about The SCR Festival and said I had a decision to make. The festival is in three months but the organizers require interested parties to book their stand at least six weeks beforehand. We must also state how big our stall would be. Due to the limited space available, stalls at the festival only comes in three sizes. A Silver stall which is big enough to showcase two Battlesuits, a Gold stall big enough for three to five Battlesuits, and a Premium stall big enough to hold up to fifteen Battlesuits.
The sizes of the stalls seems strange to me so I asked Jaya about them. He informed me that not everyone at the festival will be showcasing Battlesuits. Companies showcasing mechs and aircrafts almost has to get a Premium stall while small start-ups with one or two products can take the Silver stall. Since The Fat Tinkerer is somewhere in the middle, that leaves me with a question; do I want a Silver or Gold stall?
I immediately told him to book the Gold. Currently The Fat Tinkerer has three models of Battlesuits under its catalogue; the Jumpbot, the Trackbot, and the Decimator. I can put a version of each of them in the stall plus the new Battlesuit I am going to build for the mission. The only problem is time.
The SCR Festival is in three months and I intend to build a brand new Battlesuit. Outside the time I need to design it, I also has to build and certified the Battlesuit. I also need to consider the time needed to ship all the Battlesuits to Bangkok. Three months to do everything is a little tight but I should be able to do it. Even if I failed to design and build the Grade 1 Battlesuit in time, I still has three Battlesuits to show off so the Gold stall is the one to get.
After finishing the call with Jaya, I told Howard of my participation in the festival. His reaction was totally different from mine. I was excited to be participating in the festival; he was worried about the security at the exhibition. Refusing to hear my assurance about my own personal safety, Howard said he will contact Jaya to discuss the security of the festival. I couldn't care to argue so I only shrug. As long as it doesn't trouble me, these two can play all the security games they want.
Howard and I walked back to the workshop and on the way back, I enjoyed the sight of the vehicles in the other workshops. There were always a number of classic vehicles at the workshops and as usual I took my time to appreciate them all. When we finally returned to the workshop, Howard and I said our goodbyes. He was going to check out the SCR Festival and see about the security situation in Bangkok. I returned to the office.
The green hologram was still on and I took a good look at it when I sat down at the desk. According to Nor Avante, Earth was filled with an unknown energy called 'Mana'. You can't see it, you can't taste it, and you can't even measure it, but it is there. Magic is the art of shaping this energy into usable things. From what Nor Avante said, humans has been using this unknown energy for eons. This is why there is records of magic-users in all ancient cultures. They were called by different names; wizards, bomohs, shamans, shugenjas, but they were all magic-users. Modern magic-users still use these titles and the title of the magic-user tells you how they use magic. That was the gist of the problem.
From what I gathered from Nor Avante, the art of magic is as wide as the field of science. Biologists and engineers are both scientists but the area they were involved in almost never cross. The same could be said of magic. From the lesson I got yesterday, I immediately understood that the art of magic is too wide and I need to narrow down my focus. My knowledge of the art is too basic so after the lesson was over, I stayed behind in the workshop to work on the one form of magic I know the best; the protection cards I got from my father.
According to Nor Avante, the cards were made by a high level 'Scribe', a type of magic-user that used Mana to place wards on paper. At least it was paper in the past. Nowadays, Scribes place their wards on more hardy materials like metal plates and you can placed these plates as wards on places you want to protect. As long as there is no other energy running through them, they will work. You can't place them on the surface of an engine of a car for example as the energy created by the engine would interfere with the ward of the card, but you can placed it on the door of the car to protect the door. I found this to be very restrictive and was thinking of a way to go around that restriction.
I thought of a device that I could put several cards in and with the press of a button, activated the card I want to activate. The basic design I was working on was a simple device that had a board surface with a flip mechanism. The idea is to have two cards placed on either side of the device and with a button, changed the card that is showing on the surface. The board surface is smooth with no energy running through it with only two points on the top and bottom of the board attached to an energy source to flip over the board.
It was a simple almost medieval idea that goes around the energy restriction and while it doesn't exactly fit the criteria of technology and magic existing together, it should work in theory. When trying out new technology, it's important to take baby steps first. The problem is how to install on a Battlesuit. That was the problem I was working on when I fell asleep. I turned off the green hologram. This was a project for the future. Right now I have a festival to get ready for.

Time: 20 Minutes Into Phase Three
Location: British Coast
POV: Gunther's

''Okay men, we have not a lot of time to get into position!'' I shouted at the Panzer Battalion, It are the only 6 E50s produced, together with some Panzer IIIs it forms the bulk of the Panzer force here in England. The Transportation was terrible, splitting each tank in chunks to than ship to England to be reassembled there. 

The Tank Commanders quickly relayed the orders to their drivers. In less than 30 seconds we started to move towards the designated position outside of the compound. 'It is eerily silent, aren't there supposed to be planes from us high above the clouds?' I thought. Radio silence has to be kept at all costs unless they wanted to be spotted, so signal flags, hand signatures and normal speech was the main way to communicate with each other. The tanks rolled forward with a mighty momentum, making the ground vibrate as the E 50s were crossing the country with 60km/h, the truck following suite closely.

I raise the Yellow flag which Signals every commander to decrease their speed to 40 Km/h, followed by a blue flag which requests a status update on their tank. Most commanders wave a blue flag in return, but two commanders raised an orange flag which signals they have a malfunction which is not critical but should be kept in mind. We continued to move forwards at astonishing speeds. 'minutes until the estimated arrival at the location.' I checked the map I had with me.' That is weird, I lifted the Green flag which signalled a total emergency stop and to turn off the engines for total silence. 

The commanders reacted quickly and in less than 10 seconds all was dead silent. You could hear a low rumbling noise in the distance, 'Planes?' I thought, the rumbling became more distant as time passed, when I could no longer hear it I gave the Signal to continue advancing.

We had an easy advance, the men were silent throughout the trip. 'This must be the location.' I checked my surroundings, it had a dune at the direction of the compound, on top are trees and lush vegetation, perfect to cover their position. Behind them was a straight line to the landing craft and transport ships. I lifted the Black flag which means to set up the position with basic patrols, MG nests, warning traps, Place the tanks at strategical points to rush for the Compound and the trucks facing the ships way back for a quick retreat if necessary. 

The men made themselves comfortable as they waited for their show at Phase 7, The man now sat around a heat emitting material that gives off barely any light. I send out the signal to the HMS Dreadnought that we have finished Phase Four, it was sent at the moment large amounts of thunderclouds covered the area as predicted, which might block the signal, but stops any interception.

Let me replay what we have gotten from him'' I said to the men all present in the CC, they were: Rudolf and the Captain. 'Ths....Nr... Ob....9... Bas....doos.....oe....ne..d....n..ew.....orde...' Until now we have figured out the Beginning, he starts the basic introduction: 'This ** Nr. 89, Object.289, Bas...doos..oe..ne*d new orders. This is what we have de-coded so far, we know it has something to do with the Obj.289, and he needs new orders on top of that, which means it is a variable he can't take the decision on how to solve.'' I said while analysing the message again. ''I am not sure but, it might have to do that the Obj.289 has been already destroyed, it sees new man manning it to increase security due to a mistake in the earlier phases?'' Rudolf tried to think of an answer, 'Beep' The captain's portable radio signalled, ''Excuse me, Marshall, it seems a problem cropped up I must take my leave.'' The captain apologised before running off. 

I check my Radio, 'It seems Gunther is successful.' I commented, 'I just silently click the button left of my volume button. Rudolf received the beep, ''It seems it is Up to Shadow now, Phase Six is a go.'' Rudolf said to me while still thinking about the message.
