In 2032, a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Art Of War (AoW) is released. With the VR Helm, a helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds. The game and the   VR Helm were created by a gaming company called ZOLVERIN (ZVN).

On August 7, 50,000 players log into AoW's mainframe cyberspace for the first time, only to discover that the game had some of the darkest secrets. The Players were transferred into three different worlds.

One of the players, named  Andrew "Aiden" Iden, is one of 1,000 testers in the game's previous closed beta. With the advantage of previous VR gaming experience, he isolates himself from the greater groups and plays the game alone. As the players progress through the game Aiden eventually joins a clan named <<Guardians Of Valhalla>>, and helps the clan to conquer the kingdoms of <<MIDGARD>>; slowly creating an empire but what will happen when Aiden be betrayed by his own comrades...
Will he stand up again in the new form or be perished from the MMOs forever...

due to being a college student, I took a long break from this site but before I did I released a few stories, I have a bit more free time now, so to all fans of my books, take a look at them, read them again, pick one you like







       I will be making small paragraphs here, each paragraph has a name of one of my books, use the chapter comments to vote, I'll count it up, there's not many of you who enjoy my books so this shouldn't by hard

The fourth issue of 'Batman' is finally here, and to surprise of no one it's really good. This 'Samuel Oak' has a clear idea of where the story will go, and it shows in his comic.

The current story arc has 'Batman' fighting against one of the most prominent mafia groups in 'Gotham'. But to someone who knows the characters and some popular plots that involves them, it was possible to imagine the magnitude of the events that will happen in the future. 

"Carla, is there any other thing you want to buy?" My brother asked me suddenly. 

The shop was about to close, and there was nothing else to pick my interest. I already had 'The walking dead' second issue, and there wasn't anything 'new' that I could see.

"No, there's nothing else" I simply said, and then with my new acquisition in hand, I followed him to the exit. 

The streets were especially crowded today. Not a surprise considering that Christmas was coming. 

"Don't leave my side, it's dangerous" My brother said and took one of my hands firmly while walking towards our next destination. 

"I know" I mumbled. He really took seriously the responsibility of taking care of me, so I wasn't going to make it hard for him, even though I was old enough to walk by myself. 

We were going to the bookstore. There were plenty of them in the city, but one in particular was closer to our home. 

It took us about fifteen minutes to arrive, which was a lot considering that we usually take about eight doing the same route. 

"You can look around while I go somewhere else" My brother said once we entered the bookstore. 

"Hey, you don't have to be shy. Just go and say hi to her" I encouraged him. 

Another reason to come here was the lovely daughter of the store owner. My brother has a serious crush on her, but he still haven't even said hi after all this time. It was sad and cute at the same time. 

"Wha.. What are you tatalking about?" He stuttered.

I just looked at him with a deadpan expression. It wasn't the first time we had this conversation, so I just waited for him to realize this fact. 

"Yeah, hehe. I'll be going then" He finally said nervously, and walked towards where this girl was.

It was adorable seeing him go around her, looking at some books and pretending to be interested in them. While she was oblivious to all of that.

I could've looked at the cheesy scene in front of me for a longer period of time, but I needed to see the new books released before it was time to go, so I turned around and approached the biggest stand in the store. 

I had picked up the habit of checking out new books after I discovered the first volume of the princesses collection. Since then, I wanted to know about any 'new' writer that appears in the scene. Information was key, and unfortunately it was hard to get. 

"Hi! How are you?" The first thing I encountered was this confident boy trying to approach a beautiful girl who was inspecting some books. 

I couldn't blame the guy, the girl was really cute. She had a wavy light brown hair, hazel eyes, and a light tan that accentuated her youthful beauty. 

"Oh! I'm fine, just unsure in what book to buy" She replied with a cute smile. 

"Maybe I can help you, I like to read a lot" The boy said quickly, with a smile that showed the happiness he was feeling with the current development. "What are you looking for?" 

"Really?! Thank you so much" The girl's smile grew. "I'm looking for a Christmas gift and I can't decide which book my boyfriend would like" 

I had tried to avoid the situation in front of me. A couple of preteens awkwardly flirting wasn't new to me after all. But even I couldn't help feeling bad for the boy. 

"Emmm sorry, I can't help you... Bye!" He said awkwardly, and immediately proceeded to go out of the store. All while the girl had a confused expression on her face. 

"He was interested in you, and when you mentioned your boyfriend he just ran away" I explained her the situation. I couldn't let a clueless girl like her go around breaking young boys hearts. I guess that having a insecure brother has made me soft for this kind of situations. 

"What?" The girl looked at me with a face full of surprise, "But I had never seen him before" 

I just sighed at her words. I couldn't believe that someone so innocent could have a boyfriend in the first place. 

"Get used to it, it will happen to you often" I simply said. I wasn't planning on wasting more of my time with her. So I just turned around, looking where to go. 

"Thank you... Emmm, I'm sorry but could you help me picking a book?" The girl asked before I could escape. 

I was about to refuse, but her damn watery eyes blocked the words out of my mouth. It appears that I was too soft period. 

"Yes, of course" I sighed quietly in defeat. 

"I'm Claire by the way, nice to meet you" She said with a renewed smile.

"I'm Carla. Likewise" I replied with a smile of my own. "So you are looking for a book for your boyfriend, right?" 

"Yes! He used to read more kid friendly stuff, but now he's more interested in longer and more complicated ones. So I don't know what to choose"

"And did you think that a younger girl like me would be of any help?" I asked jokingly. 

"Hehehe, you're right" She admitted embarrassingly. 

"Don't worry, I already said that I'll help you" I assure her, "I'll need more information about him though. What does he like to do?" 

What can a preteen boy like to read? My brother offers no help with this question. I should motivate him to start reading, maybe that way he would have something to talk about with the girl he likes.

"He likes a ton of things. He likes to read, to write books, to make comics... He's currently doing his own game too" Claire replied with a sweet smile. 

I smiled back, but in my mind an idea started to flourish. What were the odds to find about another reincarnated guy like this? 

"Oh, he must be really talented to do so many things at just what, twelve?... thirteen?" I fished for an answer. 

"He's ten! Although he will be eleven in a couple of months" 

My age then. Which further confirms my theory about all of us being born around the same time period. 

I guess that Claire took my silence as me being impressed, otherwise I couldn't understand why she adopted such proud expression. 

"What about this book?" I asked her out of nowhere about 'Harry Potter' that got released last week. I wanted to caught her off guard just in case she knew the person who wrote it. 

"Oh, that's a good one. But Sammy is who wrote it, so I don't.... Oh! I shouldn't have said that. Could you keep it a secret? Pretty please" She pleaded. 

Sammy?... It could be the famous 'Samuel Oak'. No, it has to be. There's no coincidences. 

So this guy went with another style, changed his pen name, and went with another publishing company. And just with that he thought he would trick me, huh?... Well he kind of did. 

"Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret" I said sweetly. I couldn't had her being suspicious of me at this time where I got the upper hand. 

"Thank you!" She said, and before I could notice I was trapped in a tight hug. 

I could see why this Samuel liked her. She was sweet, beautiful, and gave good hugs. Although I still couldn't figure it out why would he even waste his time playing couples with all the work he gave to himself. 

"Ok, so you need another book" I said once she let me go, "Then, what about this one?" I showed her 'The chronicles of narnia'. 

It was Miguel's book. It got released just yesterday, so I don't think that he has got it yet, unless he has a news source outside of the traditional outlets. 

"Oh! It looks interesting. Thank you very much!" She said with a toothy smile after reading it for a while. 

"It was my pleasure" I smiled back, "Now, I don't want to intrude, but could you tell me more about your boyfriend? I'm a huge fan of his after all" 

Hopefully she will tell me about this game she was talking about before. Although I was more interested in how he got a cartoon so early on, it was the most useful piece of information for me and Miguel right now.

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success. 

The concept of the story has inspiration in "I'm really a super star", but it's nothing alike.

Honey Ito ran as if the devil was chasing her. She clutched her workbag, careful not to spill it. She evaded the people in her way like an Olympic runner in an obstacle course.  The people around her were either staring at her like a lunatic or whispering harsh words about her.
Honey did not care what these people were thinking. All that was in her mind was her goal- THE NEWLY OPENED BOOKSTORE!
Seeing the large new modern building, Honey's fast stride became comically insane. As one man exited the shiny new door of her destination, Honey shouted, "Hold the door!"
The man jumped in surprise before he froze with his arms opening the handle. With a blur, Honey entered the building, passing the man and bumping him into the door, while panting like a hyena. 
Honey mentally congratulating herself for reaching the bookstore before closing hours! 
"I'm sorry, Ma'am, but we are closing," a kind-looking woman wearing a pretty white blouse and black skirt with a nametag said. 
Honey wilted, her world crumbling. Her back hunched, her eyes lowered at the ground, and her hands tightened the grip of her bag. 
"Can I just see the newly released section?" Honey begged. She silently cursed her boss for making her work overtime. Honey noted to herself to buy a voodoo doll so she can put her boss into the same misery as she is feeling right now.

If only this lady will let her buy even just one book! She had no new books left to read in her apartment! Some have even been reread a couple of times. Honey was desperate to have another baby to read for the night! She had been looking forward to acquiring a new book for weeks now! 

"I am sorry, ma'am. Why don't you come back tomorrow? We still have the same discount as today, so there is no worry."
Honey felt all hope drain from her soul. She almost let out a sob.
She was about to beg again when suddenly she heard a loud chuckle behind her.
Honey turned in curiosity, why was this man laughing? She was desperate here! Can't he be a bit considerate to a woman in need?!
When her eyes saw the man, her body felt like it became stone. Her eyes widen the biggest it can possibly be. 

NO WAY!
"Watanabe Senpai?" <span style="font-size: calc(var(--rem) * 1px * 1.0625); letter-spacing: 0px;">She almost choked on her saliva when she opened her mouth to speak.</span>
Kai Watanabe still had his hand on the door handle. His lips tilted up as he nodded to her direction in acknowledgment. He gestured for Honey to go out of the store with him. 
The hesitation in Honey's body language was very obvious. His mirth grew. 
Kai raised the brown paper bag in his hands and shook it in front of Honey's face as he said, "I have a lot of books. I am willing to part ways with one." 
Kai's smile grew wider as Honey did not hesitate to nod. He felt as if he was dangling a treat in front of a dog. She never changed after all these years, huh? Still such a bookworm. 

The lady that stopped Honey waved goodbye and closed the main door as they went out of the bookstore. Honey followed after Kai like a dog to his owner with its eyes on the prize, in Honey's case, on the brown paper bag filled with books.
Kai's grip on the paper bag tightened. He never dreamt that this day would come. Another chance was given to him, and this time he will not fail to meet expectations. 
Honey only stopped when Kai began to open the door of the passenger's side of his black automobile. She stared at the matte car with open mouth wonder. Back at College, Kai had been only a scholarship student with multiple part-time jobs to support himself. 
Honey felt a bit insecure at herself. She was just an ordinary office worker with an average wage, and in this city, she couldn't even afford to buy a car. 
Kai tapped her shoulder and said, "Come now, I don't bite."
Honey rolled her eyes, "Senpai, you promised me one book."
Kai chuckled, "Dinner first."
"But I-"
"Do you still like Italian food? I know a place that you'd like in Ginza. You wanted to eat in a Michelin Restaurant, didn't you? My treat!" Kai smiled, his hands continued to gesture for her to go inside the car.
Honey realized how hungry she was after all that running she had done before, but her hesitation left her standing on the spot unmoving. Her eyes meet with his, "Why?"
"You used to treat me to snacks in University. I still haven't repaid you for that." Kai quipped, cheerily gesturing for her to go inside the car again.
"Senpai, I wasn't trying to buy food for you. I just couldn't finish the cafeteria food, their portions are large, and I needed to diet at that time." She blushed at her admission. 
Honey was very chubby when she was in Uni, so she had to watch what she was eating. It just so happen that when Honey was with Kai, after their common class together, he was always ready to eat what she couldn't finish. 
"It was still something that I was thankful for you," Kai said.
After a few moments of hesitation, Kai took his hands off the door handle and got one blue hardcover book. Honey's eyes followed the book. She hungered to get her hands on that book for months now. Honey had once debated to purchase it online, but she had always loved shopping for books, so she had waited.
"They have new English released books..." Honey murmured in admiration.  It was hard to find English books in Japan; most of them are often only available online!
Hands reaching out for the book, Honey thirsted for that book. With annoying precision, Kai held the book above his head while his other hand gestured for her to go inside the car.
"Dinner first," Kai said.
Honey pouted.
"I'll give you the book, feed you expensive food, and even send you home," Kai added more to his offer.
Honey's pout worsened, "Senpai, if I don't know you, that sounded as if you have ulterior motives."
Kai stilled, but he just smiled at her while gesturing towards the inside of his car. 
FOR THE BOOK! 
Honey slowly climbed into the passenger seat. As she turned to the driver's side, watching Kai buckle his seatbelt, Honey's mind was occupied with thoughts of the book that he had baited her with.
Reaching for the passenger seatbelt, Kai made her cheeks reddened as he strapped her without hesitation. Without hesitation, Kai laid the book she wanted in her lap, as gentle as the way he smiled at her while doing so. 
In University, he was always kind to her. 
Honey placed her clenched hands beside her in awkwardness, trying to calm her frantic heart.
Now, he was still just as kind. If not more, probably.
Honey watched as they passed the front of the bookstore; she never thought that they'd meet again and at a bookstore too.

They had also first met in a bookstore twelve years ago too. 
What a coincidence.

Sometimes, the most extraordinary love story grows from very ordinary hearts. 
Ito Honey is an ordinary office worker, who loves to read romance novels while envisioning herself as the female lead. Watanabe Kai is a regular doctor who loves to distress by reading his books while envisioning himself being transported to a perfect world. 
In this story, imaginative book-loving introverts fall in love.
It started with a newly opened bookstore in the neighborhood, and it ended into something they never thought would happen.

Excerpt from Chapter 5:

He saw the way her unmanaged hair covered her face, and although she was not the conventional beauty, Kai found her beautiful. The way she opened the book carefully as if it was as fragile as glass, the way her eyes sparkle as she read, the way her emotions are easily seen as she goes through the plot, These things added more to her beauty. 
Kai stood up and ran his fingers in her hair to push her bangs away. He froze, surprised by his bold actions. 
Honey looked up with wide eyes, her mouth open as her expression morphed into horror.
Kai's lips twitched in amusement. Slowly, his laughter escaped his lips.
Honey's horrified face morphed into confusion.
Kai merely ruffled her already unkempt hair and said, "You are too cute."
Once again, Honey's expression changed as her cheeks tinted pink, and the tip of her ears looked like Cherry Blossom petals.
Kai chuckled. Her blush is a delight to his eyes. 
"You are too cruel. Stop teasing me," Honey murmured, burying her face into her book, trying to hide from the constant stare of the man in front of her. 
"Do you know the saying about boys pulling girl's pigtails?" Kai asked, deciding to close his book to focus on her.
Honey momentarily put her book down and peeked at Kai. Seeing his eyes still drilled into hers, she immediately covered her face again. The tip of her ears turning tomato red. 
"Do you like me?" Her voice came out as a squeak, and, in her opinion, it was definitely not attractive.
"Ever since college."

AGAIN! NOT MUCH DRAMA INSIDE. 95 Percent FLUFF!

Ma Yiqun laughed as if he had just heard the biggest joke in the world. "What do you take Boss Pei for? 
"Boss Pei is so magnanimous and far-sighted. Until now, Upwind Logistics is still incurring losses, and yet has Boss Pei said a word about it? No! He still trusts Upwind Logistics' leader so much. 
"You think Boss Pei would be so calculating over something as small as this? You're belittling him."
After some thought, Cui Geng realized that this was true. 
Boss Pei was so magnanimous. How could he stack the deck against Cui Geng over a single novel? That sounded impossible. 
"Alright, Boss Ma! I'll change it at once! 
"It's a good thing that I hadn't written that much yet, and I won't have to change the plot too drastically. I think I can include the modifications very quickly," said Cui Geng with determination. 
Ma Yiqun was very satisfied with Cui Geng's attitude. It looked like the latter was serious about writing this time. 
"This is what I'm thinking: if you can consistently upload five chapters a day throughout the Chinese New Year holiday, I'll tell Zhu Xingan to give your novel a recommendation spot in advance! 
"The faster you write, the better a spot you'll get. Try to make the novel the most popular one in the urban genre!"
Once again, Cui Geng felt overwhelmed by Boss Ma's favor. "Alright, no problem! I'm not going anywhere over the holiday. I'm staying at home to write!" 
… 
After getting Ma Yiqun's advice, Cui Geng felt more motivated. 
If even the higher management of the website was recommending his novel, would he still have to worry about not getting enough recommendations? 
All Cui Geng wanted to do now was to write as quickly as he could while maintaining the novel's quality. He would write ten thousand words per day and hope that those readers, who had a habit of only chasing books on the recommendation lists, would get hooked on his novel as soon as possible. 
It was just as well that Cui Geng's creative juices were flowing at their peak. Before the Chinese New Year, he had gathered a lot of material from Tengda Games. He only had to process the material slightly before including them in his novel.
All he had to think about was how to write those stories more dramatically to create conflict.
Cui Geng began tapping away rapidly at his keyboard. 
"Even if my family goes through ten more demolitions, it wouldn't stop me from writing this novel well and completing it!"

On the first day of the Chinese New Year, Cui Geng edited the five chapters that he had already uploaded, as well as the chapters that he had already written. After confirming that the story flowed, he continued writing subsequent chapters. 
To his surprise, Cui Geng found that adopting Ma Yiqun's suggestions had been extremely effective! 
When he wrote before, he had felt that something was missing. It caused him to feel more sullen as he wrote. 
Even after finishing the first five chapters, he had found the story imperfect and had felt that something needed to be changed. 
Yet, he had no idea what exactly needed to be changed.

"We have to complete all this, by tomorrow?" I ask, raising my eyebrows.

"Yes," Ben goes through the file. 

"This is a lot," I whine. "I had morning classes. Now I'm working here until six, then I have a shift at the bookstore until ten. I'm already tired."

"It's okay, kiddo," Ben gives me a side hug. "We can work together tonight. At least it can be a bit less stressful that way. Plus, we'll be able to help each other out."

"Good point…but I'll be until ten tonight."

"No worries, we can start at eleven."

"Done, eleven p.m. at my house." I smile. 

"Done,"

"I'm so tired, " I say while picking up my stuffs. 

"Want to grab a coffee?" He puts his stuff in his bag.

"I don't think I have the time; my shift starts soon."
