A year has passed since I've been living here.
My foster parents named me Aria since I lied to them saying that that I don't have a name.
The name they gave me is good enough bit I still need to hide!

Because of the maid trying to make me a living doll, I am hiding onto the bookshelf and laid there until they stop. 

You know what? They pampered me too much that my head aches.
Giving me presents every week is a big deal for me but Ten new things every single day?

It's usually dresses that I think I will refuse to wear. With my answers, they always sulk in the corners because of my cold attitude.
But still, I didn't give a damn about it.

I am 16 mentally so they thought of me as a prodigy.
Who would call a 5 year old kid a prodigy when it's just doing the same things that toddlers supposed to do.

Then I remembered, when I read the book about human brains and what's going on about them to one of the books I found here, it says that humans develop proper consciousness at the age of six year old.

Does that mean when they go to Earth, they will think us everyone prodigies?

Hearing my mother's voice, I looked down but I think she still hasn't figured out my hodo g spot until, she stopped right at the bookshelf where I am.

"The Game Is Starting. Would you like to enter? YES or NO?"

I wake up the next morning and I am hungry so I try to call my mother, but all I can do is cry. 
10 minutes later I am fed and happy and left on my own for now. 
My dad came by and said that he got to go to work. He is working as a hit wizard, which should be identical to a special agent. Mom is a Healer but she stays at home with my grandparents for now.

I try to meditate and it takes two minutes to get into my library. I want to have the ideal growth for my magic and body so I search for books that describe the best way and age to start working on my magic. God was generous and put a search function on my library, which means I just have to think about a subject area or a title or an author and a shelf with books to it appears. Very handy. 

First I search for books about magic for children at a young age. After reading for some days I found that most books say that children shouldn't be using magic before the age of three because my body and magic are still harmonizing here and it´s complete to 100% on my third birthday. Some children need more time some less but that is uncommon. When I read this I was a bit disappointed because I still couldn't practice magic for three years now.

So I did a little digging and reading in my library. After one and a half years I found an interesting idea, if I let my body flow with magic on my birthdays exactly at my birth time, this should help with magic without a magic wand and make me some Immun to magic, it should be forgotten because if not everybody would be doing this. Unfortunately, this is only possible five times and only on the third, seventh, eleventh, thirteenth and seventeenth birthdays, after that my body should conduct magic better, like some metals conduct electricity better than others. The protection from spells will unfortunately not become thick, because only weak spells can be fended off and/or resisted. So this will only be used to look cool. I am also looking into rituals but most of them are for my eleventh birthday and after. 

So my parents are miraculously still alive and working. Although they don't have to do so, as I could deduce from our environment, we have more than enough money, so they probably do for contact with other people and to build connections. I have decided to ask my parents about my time of birth, but this is difficult because I cannot talk perfectly yet. But since most toddlers with 2.5 to 3 can already halfway communicate their thoughts, I think that with my previous experience I will have this body a little further. I am also studying magic and how to use it because the first time I have to use it will be on my third birthday and I can´t use it before. 

The rest of my time I try to be a normal baby but that doesn´t prove to be difficult because I am curious about everything around me like every other toddler. Last week my parents went to Lyall Lupin and Hope Howells wedding, at first, I was surprised that my parents would go to their wedding but apparently, they were classmates. Nothing big happened the rest of the year except for the birth of Sirius on November third. 

Time flys by and more Characters from Harry Potter were born including Snape, Lilly, Lupin, and James. But that isn´t interesting to me for now. 

The last days before my 3rd birthday I was together with my gran Josi as I´ve come to call her, she gives me everything I want and I always have something to eat because being in the library takes a toll on my young body. I could weasel my birthtime out of my grandmother, I was born 8 pm, with that I was set. 
We take a walk through our villa. My grandparents live with us in this huge villa. We have 2 ley lines under our property, 2 less than under Hogwarts, but only five of us live here. We still have hundreds of bedrooms and dozens of work areas, my family has always been busy with runes and potions. Our library is huge, but I will probably only visit it as a cover since I own my own complete library. 

It´s my third birthday and my parents have invited some political friends who have kids themself from all sides dark, light, grey and Albus Dumbledore is there as well, maybe he´s trying to get some families on the light side or just looking at potential students who know what he is thinking. Armando Dippet is there as well, not much was said about him in the books but he looks kind but stern and powerful. I think there are only 5 years till he gives up the headship of Hogwarts in favor of Dumbles.

Enough political mingling of toddlers, it's 8 pm and I'm just using my magic for the first time, it feels a little warm throughout my body and I light up slightly. Nothing else happens but I think that I have come now more in tune with the world.
 I try to use my magic now so I hold out my finger and whisper Lumos, my finger lights up but I can tell that it costs me a lot of ´magical power´ I can only cast it three times. I like to think, that me using my magic at exactly my birthtime has helped me feel my magic better and having started to turn my body in a wand(even if it won´t be as quick and powerful). 
 But reading so many books about magic I know that magic is like a muscle you work it and it grows, even in old age, but the more magic you have the slower it grows and the harder it is to empty it out. After emptying my magic out I fall asleep.

A rich middle aged man who is experiments with everything he gets his hands on. One experiment fails and he dies. He meets God and chooses to be reborn in the Harry Potter world. A new life with a million more experiments an a new force to master. With some advantages he starts his next adventure.

Rose and Chloe's hands we're in mine as we walked at a steady pace with the X-mansion's residence following behind.

Even though I went with the vintage look that the Professor clearly tried to maintain I still wanted to drift into a new era. 

It's not a huge difference but instead of paintings being on the wall it had framed newspaper articles of the X-Men adventures and saves.

Something I had thought would help motivate the youngsters and maybe even inspires some of them to be the next X-men.

The shape of the mansion from a bird's eye view was a long sided oval much like an athletics track or race track whichever floats your boat.


The long straight sides of the oval-shaped X-mansion was made up fairly large classrooms while the five-story portion is living quarters with entertainment room and a large nursery for the babies/toddlers

"Lily, open all the classroom doors, please," I said

After I spoke the doors opened up to reveal the clean and spacious themed classrooms.

"Sorry but who is Lily," Asked Hank while looking around for anyone he didn't recognize.

"Lily will be the standby A.I assistant for everyone. She can be a teacher assistant and a personal tutor for students. However, she will only provide assistance to only simple tasks. Don't want the student to take advantage of it and cheat their homework" I said simply before continuing to ask "I assume you guys do homework" 

"Ah yes, we do" Said Jean while still looking into the themed classrooms.

"Good, Lily introduce your self," I said 

A soft and calming voice of a woman sounded "Hello, I am Lily and my purpose is to assist the residents of the X-Mansion" 

"Hi, Lily" The students were surprisingly very welcoming to the A.I.

"Each classroom is themed after it's corresponding subjects. The lack of staff is fulfilled by a hologram of famous or not so famous teachers" I said before a hologram of Albert Einstein appeared with his ever so famous crazy hair.

"Ah, you lot must be my students. I am Albert Einstein your teacher for physics. If your lucky we can get into my Nobel Prize work on Relativity" Said Albert before disappearing.

"This is not permeant as it lacks the human touch but it will do it's best to teach. If you look to your right you will see the courtyard it's a lot smaller then what you had before but will get onto that later. If you look past you will see another set of the classrooms" I said while pointing past the courtyard.

"Those classes are specifically the more practical/creative subjects like Home economic, art, woodwork, graphic design and so on. You saw the gym and the gymnasium so let's jump right to the fun stuff, " I said with a clap of my hands

"Dad can I climb the tree," Said Rose who pointed at the big tree that sat in the centre of the courtyard.

"Afterwards," I said while ruffling her hair.

"I want books, please," Said Chloe with an eager expression

"Let's go to the book store after this," I said

"I know this might be a little intrusive but can you explain your ability" Said Professor

"Sure," I said while looking around the room before my eyes fell on Scott's face.

Before anyone had realised it Scotts shades were in my hands.

I then present the glasses to everyone who then looks back at Scotts eye's who was somehow not destroying the building.

"What did you do?!" Asked Scott with a shocked face as he blinked constantly thinking it was a dream.

"Despite what you might think your eyes do not produce the energy even though it does appear come from your eyes. In fact, your true ability is to open a portal in front of your eyes which connected to a space filled with that energy. All I did was close the portal. I govern over space so closing that portal of yours is easy" I said smugly before throwing the shades back at him.

Everyone just stared at me with their mouths gaped which is understandable as my space ability is absolutely broken.

"Look I'll do the same thing," I said before using Armament Haki on my hand.

The skin on my right hand turned into a black metallic alloy that had an odd red shine to it. 

I then open a portal above my hands that then had the same red energy that comes out Scott's eyes.

I misjudged the power of which came out of the portal as it connects with my hand and immediately gets deflected. 

I quickly open another portal at the end of the energy beam and close off the source.

"Haha sorry, that was kinda dumb," I said with nervous laughter.

Chloe tugged at my trouser and signalled me to kneel down. 

As I kneel down Chloe gives an unhappy pout with a karate chop to my forehead she said: "That was very dangerous, dad. Rose is a bad influence"

Rose scratched the back of her head nervously and said "Leave the cool stunts to me, dad, cause you're too clumsy"

'It's nice that they care but since when was Rose the sensible one' I exclaimed internally 

"No, Rose you have to stop too or dad will follow" Said Chloe with a tough tone.

'Okay so did I just become the kid. I'm very confused. It's good to see Chloe being more outspoken in front of people. Rose could do with being a little quieter. Nevertheless, I'm proud' I thought as I pulled the kids into a strong hug.

"Don't worry Dad will be more careful to not be as clumsy as Rose?" I said with a teasing smile.

"I'm not clumsy those were test runs," Said Rose while whipping her head away in a prideful manner.

"Not the best example of my capabilities but you understood, right?" I said 

"Wait! what was the black skin thing?" Said Kitty while grabbing my arm and pinching it.

"I can't tell you everything. A man needs it's secret, how else am I supposed to keep up the mystery" I said while giving the others a wink.

"Right, follow me we have quite a bit to get through," I said while escorting my curious kids.

Getting past the long classroom corridors we finally made it to the living quarters of the building. The first floor had a retro arcade room, a living room, sunroom, bowling room, large library, a computer room and two separate day rooms.

The rest of the floors were living quarters and on each floor, a portal was placed to get around faster. They were 100 rooms on each floor with each room having two single beds.

The top floor was for the teacher and toddlers. As it would be better to have them close to the teachers. 

The students had already claimed their rooms with some of them sharing with friends and others getting a room to themselves.

Before things could die down I teleported everyone to the gymnasium to give an announcement. A bit weird to be giving an announcement when I'm not a teacher but I felt like it.

"Right, so I did promise, Miss Munroe, that I would deal with the outdoor space problems so I guess here is my solution," I said While giving a wave to my left which then opened a portal.

On the other end was a large piece of dry land with a vast ocean surrounding it.

"You will build it. Call it a group project I will provide some help in making the land to be more adaptable but after that then you need to tend to the soil, plan plants. Make a treehouse, build a forte get creative I will give you materials so just go wild" I said excitedly 

The students gave a joyful cheer as they shout in unison "Thank you, Uncle!!"

The X-Men on the other side gave an approving nod while clapping their hands to my great idea.

"Okay, go to your room's, I think your teachers want to talk to me," I said while making myself and kids with the X-Men appear in the courtyard.

"Go climbs the tree just be careful. Chloe, there are some pretty fishes in the pond here's your sketchbook and pencil" I said before they run around the courtyard.

"A group project huh?" Said, Logan 

"Well, they need it. They have spent most of their life hiding and being under you guys guidance that they have no room to grow. They need this time to be independent you can help them just don't take over. It will both build character and skills"  I said While watching Rose slip down the tree.

"You are quite well educated in children," Said Ororo (Storm)

"It took a lot of time reading as many parenting books as possible before realising that it's mostly trial and error with parenting. Some things work and some don't" I said like a veteran father while shrugging.

"So what do you get out of this" Said Scott rudely and spitefully.

'What the fuck is this dude on' I thought with disgust exuding from my eyes.

"Well for starters I think you need an attitude adjustment," I said while giving him a cold glance before continuing"And secondly I want to make you guys stronger. So here" 

I pass them a set of gravity watches and give a brief introduction. Then I gave my reason for helping you know the same one I gave to the Avengers "The stronger they are less involved I am" 

Logan looked at me briefly and asked "You know who I am. Don't you?"

'Holy shit his instincts are clearly at there peak today' I thought shocked at how amazing animal Instincts are.

"Yes, I know who you use to be but does it matter any more. I'll tell you nonetheless but are you ready" I said with a sincere smile

Logan didn't reply he just scoffed and walked out with his head down as he whispered to himself "I need a drink'

After years of hanging out with Robert; it was time for him to leave the orphanage. "Okay Violet, I am moving to the next city over. I found a job and a cheap apartment there. In three years when you are out of here come find me. Of course I will be rich and famous by then." I snickered. He continued "I will wright letters to you, and you will wright letters to me." I was smiling as he was rubbing the top of my head messing up my hair. I looked up at Robert who was a good six inches taller than I was, "and you will send me make-up and books so I can get my colors." I lightly demanded. He rolled his eyes "Fine I guess I will have to buy things for my favorite cotton ball." Only he was allowed to make fun of my whiteness, and he would do so any chance he could. "You know snowflake, I thought you would cry when I left." I smiled and responded, "Well crying now wouldn't help me become red though, would it? Besides it's not everyday that your big brother graduates from being an orphan." I laughed. He looked down at me and rubbed my head again messing up hair. "You do know I am not actually your big brother, right? I mean you kinda are my little sister, but not for real." I rolled my eyes. "It hasn't stopped me from telling all of the toddlers that you are my big brother." I said. He looked surprised. "Why are you telling little kids that I am your big brother?" Robert asked. I replied quite simply "Well for some reason the freaky white chick doesn't seem as scary if she has a cool giant golden brother." He smiled back rubbing his fingers on his chin, pretending to think. "Well I suppose being my sister would make you seem cooler." he said mockingly. I punched his arm and we both laughed. 
A cab could be seen driving up the street. It slowly stopped in front of Robert. He got in and waved yelling out the window as he was driving away, "Bye milky see you in three years!"
"See ya later Bub!" I yelled back. Just like that, my big brother and best friend was gone. I was once again friendless. At least by this point anybody who had been at the orphanage for any amount of time knew not to tease me. I was still avoided though. I lacked companionship again. I returned to the orphanage doors and a horde of toddlers came and grabbed at my shirt and clung to my waist. most of them were crying "I thought my Viyet was leaving foever!" a little girl sobbed. A little boy who had obviously been crying said "No you dumb dumb, she just got rid of that stupid golden boy." I looked down at him with a stern look. "Now is that any way to talk about big brother or Rachel? How would you like it if someone called you a dumb dumb or stupid?" He had a guilty look on his face as stared at the floor, he replied "I wouldn't like that." I began again, "Okay then. Now you need to apologize to Rachel." Still looking at the ground he mumbled "Sorry Rachel." I looked at them both "That's better now Rachel what do you say?" Rachel sniffled and wiped the last of the tears from her eyes "Nofin! He said your big brover was stupid. I love Bobert." I sighed, wondering why I am the only one who takes care of these kids. Kids are great but I am sick of caring for them. I continued to talk "Would Robert like it if you stayed mad at Thomas?" She looked down at her shoes just as Thomas had done "No, he wouldn't" She looked up at Thomas "It is okay, I fogive you." I waited with them until one of the lazy caretakers came to watch the kids. I walked away and went into my closet of a bedroom, and there with the door closed I cried. No one can see me cry in here. I am still brave as long as no one can see me right, I can still be red? I thought to myself. I never asked for much, I do everything and then some, and I haven't gained even a  hue of a color. I have to take care of kids, and once they are big enough they are scared of me anyway. No one will talk to me. Now my only support has gone and left me here. I was alone. I waited until I was done crying and my eyes were no longer swollen to leave my room. I hadn't taken but two steps before I was stopped, a caretaker said I had a phone call. I was shocked. No one ever calls for any of the orphans, this was unheard of. I rushed to the phone. The voice I heard from the other end was no other than Robert. "Marshmallow!" I was surprised at not only that I was using the phone and Robert was calling, but the fact that it had only been three hours since he had left. I replied "Wow you miss me already, this has to be a record." He responded from the other end "Yeah yeah haha very funny" he said quickly "What if I told you that you could be out of that orphanage tomorrow?" My eyes widened as I replied "I wouldn't believe it was possible. I'm not old enough to leave." He quickly responded "Yes, but you can be adopted." I sighed and rubbed my brow "Don't get me excited like that for no reason. No one wants to adopt a colorless teenager." 
"Well that maybe true" I heard Robert say. "Great confidence boost there brother." I said. He continued "Let me finish...but, my crappy landlord wants a cleaning lady for the whole complex. Now a certain big brother of a Q-tip may have said as long as he adopts you he will have a cleaning lady, and I will care for her." I was once again shocked. I was grasping for words "n..n..no way. There... there is no way. Is that even legal. Even if it's not I can deal, I am all for child labor sign me up." I could hear him laughing at the other end of the phone. "The guy should be at the orphanage today to fill out some paperwork, then you can come live with me tomorrow. So pack everything you have because that dingy place is no longer your home. Also you are allowed to work at fifteen years old, so it isn't child labor."
The rest of the day was a blur I remember very clearly every word that Robert had said on the phone, but not a second of the rest of my last day at the orphanage. The next morning I was picked up by a middle aged man. He was an average height with a receiding green hairline. His skin was blue, but he had green eyes to match what was left of his hair. I sat in the backseat and buckled as the man began to start the car. The man spoke in a gruff voice, "Did your...uh brother tell you the situation?" I perked up "Yes, Robert told me you are my guardian only in name, and I will be working for you as compensation for adopting me." The man began driving "Yeah that is about it. You can call me Ed. Now you better take good care of my baby." I was so thankful to this man named Ed, I didn't speak another word if not neccessary. I didn't want him to change his mind about me. I need to make myself look responsible, after all he loves this complex enough to call it his baby. He must have worked very hard to be successful enough to own an apartment complex. He has no orange after all. An hour later we arrived at a shabby grey apartment building. "I wouldn't call this my baby if I was him." I whispered to myself. Then I saw Robert "So White I missed you!" He ran to me and picked me up. "Little sister have you been eating right you haven't grown since I last saw you." I smiled big and hugged him "hardy har har. Yes these last 24 hours have been grueling, but I managed to survive." He grabbed my wrist and pulling me into the building spouting a bunch of random things about how great his new apartment is. He looked like an excited kid trying to show mom his sandcastle. I walked in the one bedroom apartment expecting something worth being excited over. The beige walls had cracks coming up and down them, and the ceiling was yellowed with age. there were no light fixtures, simply lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling. There was no furniture to be seen. There was a mattress on the floor in the livingroom and in the bedroom was another mattress. That was it both mattresses had one pillow and one blanket In the small kitchen was a box of cheap ramen and a container of water bottles. I stood in a disappointed daze as I saw what was my new home. "So Q-tip, how do you like your new digs? Pretty nice right?" Robert said with pride. I stood silently for a second, then looked up to Robert. "Is it too late to go back to the orphanage?" I teased. "Oh come on it's not that bad...is it?" I put my hands on my hips and puffed out my chest. "Never fear super home renovator is here!" I exclaimed. Robert just looked down at me, "Seriously do you know anything about interior design?" He asked. I continued my super hero pose exclaiming "Haha never fear civilian, I know a slightly more than you do on the subject." Robert put his hand to his forehead. "Oh sister, you have enough confidence for both of us." he said. I looked back at him. "Well we need to go shopping when we have the money. I am so glad I don't have to babysit little kids anymore.." Robert started to speak up, "About that..." I stopped listening. I began towards the door talking. "WelI I am going to go tell Ed that I am ready to wo..." I started to open the door "Wait wait wait!" Robert yelled quickly as I began to open the door. I opened the door wide to see a small golden girl with orange hair and eyes. The child looked like she could be no more than five years old and was dressed beautifully. She looked me up and down "hmm" she said, "You must be my new nanny." My eyes opened wide as I yelled in confusion "What... Nanny?!"

Astraea had made a lot of progress and gained a lot of new information, as well as experience new things for the weeks that came.

She had made minor progress in attempting to control the flow of her mana and was now able to redirect a small amount in a certain direction, she planned to continue to train her internal control before even attempting to have it exit her body.

She had experienced actual magic for the first time too as her parents had started using their magic around her with small tricks and spells, hearing from their talks that it was to boost her affinity for Neutral Magic.

Though they didn't talk about it in detail, she had gathered that of the few confirmed ways to increase a toddler's affinity for Neutral Magic was to frequently use magic around them.

Her dad had used Ice Magic to create little sculptures of animals and sometimes put on a small performance, showcasing the beauty of ice by casting flurries of snow and ice, making pretty patterns in the air and having the ice and snow dance around.

She was properly wowed and amazed as it was the first time she had ever seen such a fantastical display, her behavioral cuteness power working its own magic and making her react in cute giggles and excited noises, coupled with cute expressions that made Aereons heart melt.

She guessed from the skillful and beautiful display that he had a high affinity with Ice Magic and was highly talented with magic in general.

Her mom had also performed some small spells with earth, fire, and light magic as she seemed to have some affinity with them. It was obvious that she wasn't very skilled with them in comparison with her dad and could only guess her main magic was hard or impossible to materialize. She still appreciated the effort and make her cute smiles and giggles as well.

Another method to increase her affinity was to use a technique that allowed one person to pass their mana through another person and having their mana be flushed and replaced by the mana that they had received. Researchers had found out that mana that was kept inside of a body for long period of time was able to become 'stale' and have a reduced concentration, this meant that despite being maxed out on mana, if it was used to cast magic, it would either take much more mana than usual or the effect would be reduced.

Using this technique would allow anyone to regain 'fresh' mana without having to use up any of their own and waiting for it to refill. Though there few people who actually used the technique as it was quite inefficient. It was a perfect technique for mothers with toddlers as those of the same family had similar mana signatures and thus there was less loss of mana during the transfer.

It was also due to toddlers having a minuscule capacity for mana making it possible for mothers to perform the technique multiple times in a day and not have to worry about being inconvenienced due to the lack of mana.

Not only was it proven to increase toddler's affinity with Neutral Magic, but it was also confirmed to increase affinity with multiple other attributes by a small amount and even made them physically healthier.

Paela had been diligently performing the technique on Astraea every day three times a day for the past few weeks, and each time she did so, Astraea would start to focus on the feeling of mana moving in her body and attempting to follow the flow to increase her proficiency and control. She would also focus on the feeling of mana leaving her body so she becomes familiar with the feeling when she attempts to move her mana out of her body in the future.

The next few months passed and not much had happened in that time except for two significant achievements.

She had successfully become proficient enough to control a large amount of mana in her body and was able to move it to any part of her body with only some effort, but more impressive than that, she had been able to move her mana out of her body without any accidents.

At first, it had been difficult trying to move the mana out of her body despite having a clear memory of the feeling from when her mom uses the mana refreshing technique on her every day.

But it did help as she was able to sense the changes of what she felt and slowly adjusted her technique in order to get closer to the feeling she felt when her mana was being refreshed.

Eventually, she had been successful and the effects were quite minor, Astraea had sent out a small amount of mana out of her palm towards a small stuffed toy inches away and it had made it move a negligible distance.

She likened it to a telekinetic push as that was one of the types of magic she would imagine doing as a Neutral Mage, she didn't have any doubts about if she was actually using Neutral Magic as the being had already explained that Neutral magic was literally just utilizing raw mana.

She only practiced her control over magic externally when she was alone as she didn't want her parents to find out just yet. She also didn't want them to become worried for her safety and watch her 24/7 as she wouldn't be able to practice her magic freely.

Aside from her advancements in magic, she had also successfully learned to crawl when she was four months old, greatly surprising her parents as babies usually took six to ten months to start to crawl.

It took her four months as her limbs were not strong enough to support the weight of her body at first, but when they finally became strong enough to do so, she was very happy to have regained two-dimension movement. 

another two months passed with her crawling every opportunity she had to do so, so as to train her body and she was finally able to support her own weight and start walking. Aereon and Paela were once again shocked at her speed of growth but were mostly happy at having such a talented daughter. 

She had even decided to go for broke and call them 'mama' and 'dada' like how they had been trying to teach her for the past few months, doing both at the same time so as to not exclude either parent. 

The reaction was more than she expected, they had both shouted in glee, causing Astraea to flinch at the volume, and had picked her up and hugged her while being squeezed in the middle. 

From then on she noticed a substantial change in her cute charm ability in that it was more effective every time she said 'mama' or 'dada' before pointing at something she wanted or a place she wanted to go when they were carrying her. 

Once again, she was unsure if it was their doting nature as parents or her power that was at work, she could only assume that the two were working in tandem. 

Despite regaining the ability to walk, she had been unable to access any kind of reading material as they were all behind the seemingly huge doors that she considered the 'forbidden rooms' as her parents had never brought her inside.

There weren't even any bookshelves in the living room with an assortment of books, but now that she thought back on the past six months, she had not seen a sign of any written material. 

If that was truly the case and everything had been digitized, then it would be much harder to access reading materials as she'd have to figure out how to work the futuristic electronics.

She would just have to wait until they started teaching her what a 'computer' was or any other word related to documented information.

Five months later and at eleven months old, Astraea had started using more words to better converse with her parents as she was getting impatient at not being able to relay what she wanted from them.

She only spoke one to three words at a time as any more would seem too abnormal for a child her age, and she also wanted her parents to feel her growth instead of seeing their genius child grow up too fast and miss out on important milestones and the joy of raising and teaching their child.

She had become much cuter over the last five months as the desires she had stated for her body were doing wonders for her, her eyes had become nice and large but had stopped becoming bigger some time ago and she assumed it was the other effect at work which adjusted her body to the definition of cuteness. 

She was thankful it had done this as giant bug eyes were definitely not cute, same with her hair, it had grown long enough to reach slightly below her neck which she thought was perfect for cute hairstyles. 

The desire to absorb more nutrients from her food still made her produce lesser and lesser excrement and she could feel that she did not need as much food than she did before. She still ate the same amount as she didn't want to worry her parents, and the home-cooked baby food her mom had been making since four months ago tasted quite good compared to what she thought it would taste like, it was probably her baby taste buds that made it taste good anyways.

She had added two more desires, the first was that her skin would have no flaws and imperfections, and the second that her voice would become cuter and sound more charismatic to the listener. The first was due to knowing that skin-care was very important as it covered every part of her body and having flawless skin would attract more attention towards herself in the future. 

The second was her plan to use her charismatic and cute voice in tandem with her charm ability in order to make them more receptive to suggestions and words she would speak in the future.

Why didn't she just state a load of useful and more complicated desires? She knew her power would have some sort of limit and that increasing the number or complexity of the desires would only make it have a weaker effect. She would only add more desires once she thinks that one desire had been fulfilled and would replace the old desire with the new one, also taking into account complexity as well.

She had already taken out her hair growth and eye expansion desires as she deemed them as fulfilled, and she could always just add them back on again whenever she wanted.

Her progress in Neutral Magic had increased as well as she was now able to use more mana for her telekinetic push and was even attempting to use telekinesis on small objects with small success. Her goal was to be able to twist the doorknobs of the 'forbidden rooms' in order to access them and finally attempt to use this world's internet.

She was glad that the doors weren't some fancy sci-fi door in ships that had identification scanners. Thinking about it, those would ruin the style that the condominium had and guessed that as the reason it had fancy wooden doors with doorknobs in the first place. 

Her first birthday was coming in a few days as she had heard her parents discussing about it excitedly, they seemed to be planning to invite their friends and family and she was looking forward to it. She was looking forward to gaining more information about this world than meeting new people though, but she was sure that her cuteness will charm them in an instant!

MC: So I can choose anything within my allocated points and imagination?

???: Yes, from Almighty Systems to Evolving Weaponry, to Dominating Cultivation Techniques, anything you desire. 

MC: Then, make me the cutest! The cutest in the Omniverse!

???: ...

'I guess so.' Darren replied dejectedly. Although it probably was the System's fault for everything happening, just walking 4 km shouldn't be hard. The question is, how much were copper coins even worth? For all he knew, they could be worthless. In response to that question, the System replied:
[1 Copper coin and 50 Stone coins are enough to stay a night in a decent inn. Food is generally around half a Copper coin for a meal.]
'Stone coin?'
[There are different types of coin. Each higher type is worth 100 of the previous type. The order is:
Wood coin -> Stone coin -> Copper coin -> Bronze coin -> Silver coin -> Gold coin -> Platinum coin -> Diamond coin -> Dragon coin]
'That seems a bit much. Can't they settle on 3-4 different types like everyone else?'
['Everyone else' has even more confusing systems. And they have so many different types because it is easier than referring to large sums of money in billions of coins, and small sums of money in 0.01s of a coin]
'Fine.' Darren decided to give up; as usual, it was no use arguing with the System.
'Any quests for me?' He asked sarcastically, not expecting for the System to have a quest for him (completely ignoring all he had learnt).

Darren wanted to cry. Why was being banned from a library enough to have the System kill him? There was probably a good reason, knowing the System, but it is still upsetting. With no apparent choice, if he wanted to get anywhere, he decided to look at the list of books.

Darren couldn't tell if the System was picking those books just to be annoying or not. It was definitely patronising, but given that he had no idea how magic works, that may be justified. Of course, to read any of these books he had to go to a library.
'Any directions, System?'
[No, I am still not a SatNav]
He was pretty sure that the System had a SatNav, but he decided not to continue with that argument after being given a quest to read some books for children a minute ago.
Darren walked down the busy street until he eventually found a library.
'Very convenient, just being here when I wanted it.' Thought Darren, before going to walk in. Unfortunately, he saw a sign saying that there was a 100 copper coin entrance fee, which made him immediately suspicious of the System again. After all, why would it give him such a large sum of money if it wasn't going to take it away from him the next second? He reluctantly paid all his money and entered the extremely expensive and extravagant library... Or not extravagant, as Darren soon discovered. It was very simple, just having rows of books. There was almost no decoration and the little decoration that it did have was in a state of disrepair.
'What are they doing with so much money?' Asked Darren in his head, although he suspected he knew the answer: the owners were just paying almost all of the money into their pockets. And it seemed that he was not the only one who had that thought or at least nobody else was stupid enough to pay 1 bronze coin to enter a library, as it was almost deserted, with only him and a couple of other people in the whole library. Given that one of those people worked there, that meant that there were very few people actually reading books.
Darren went to an index book and looked for one of the books on his list. He decided that knowing the rules of magic would probably be beneficial considering that otherwise, he won't know how things actually work and might try something impossible, at least at his current power. He found out there the book was quickly and walked over to it before picking it up and starting to read.

21-year-old Darren Coates is going to work, at least until he is magically picked up and dropped in the middle of a field in another universe for no obvious reason.
Now, instead of worrying about mundane things, like money and work, Darren has to worry about being killed by any of the thousands of kingdoms warring constantly, or being eaten by any of the millions of beasts and even carnivorous plants, or being hunted by a mysterious organisation that seems to be the only one who knows anything.
All while finding out why he was brought there, by whom, and who else came with him, of course with the 'help' of an even more mysterious system in his head.
