I will be inserting my own content as I believe there is so much that JK Rowling could have expanded on. Re-reading the books as an adult has given me a differrent perspective than when I first read the books.

Danzhou Harbor lay to the east of the state of Qing, near the sea. Since the recent completion of the ports in the South, and with the sea route to the West that was opened up early on, the state’s center of trade had moved south. As a result, Danzhou Harbor was gradually forgotten. The formerly bustling port had quieted down years ago.
Seagulls flew freely, no longer harassed by annoying sailors.
The local residents of Danzhou Harbor, on the other hand, had not experienced much change in their lives. Although their income had decreased, the emperor had been exempting them from paying taxes for years, and they continued to lead comfortable lives. Not to mention that the seaport was very beautiful and, now quiet, it naturally became more livable.
Once in a while, some big name would come to Danzhou Harbor and build a manor.
However, as it was so far from the imperial capital, few of the officials really settled down there. Perhaps only the old lady who lived in the house to the west of the city could be counted as one.
It was said that the old lady was the mother of Count Sinan, and moved to Danzhou Harbor in her retirement. Everyone in the city knew that Count Sinan was favored by His Majesty. He was never dispatched in accordance with normal practice, but stayed in the imperial capital and worked with the Treasury Department. So, most residents showed sufficient politeness and respect to the house.
Children, however, did not understand these things.
It was a sunny day. The adults were sitting in the pub, enjoying the salty moisture carried in by the sea breeze, eating brined plums and drinking liquor from goblets.
A crowd of teenagers surrounded the stone steps outside the back door of Count Sinan’s estate in the western part of the city.
Approaching them, a funny scene would be revealed, as the teens were listening to a small kid of four or five years old. 
The small boy was adorable, with eyebrows that seemed painted on and a pair of bright eyes. Though his voice was childish, the tone of his speech was as mature as an adult.
Heaving a sigh, he made a gesture with his small arms and continued, "Truman walked toward the wall and found a ladder. He climbed the ladder, step by step, and found a door. He pushed the door open and went out...."
 "And then?"
"And then? Then...he was free again," the small kid pouted, appearing impatient that the teens would ask such a basic question.
"You must be kidding? Why didn’t he...that Chris...."
 "Christof," interrupted another teen.
"Yes. Why didn’t Truman beat up Christof to vent his anger? He had been imprisoned for years."
The small kid shrugged and said, "No."
"Hush! So boring. Young Master Fan Xian, today’s story is not as interesting as the one from a couple days ago."
"Then, what kind of stories do you like?"
"An Ethereal Journey."
"A Great Epic."
"Hush!" said the small kid called Fan Xian, extending his middle finger at the bigger teens around him. He admonished, "Fighting and killing are unhealthy, digging all over for treasure makes nature unwell."
Suddenly, a furious shout came from the courtyard, "Young master, where are you!?"
Imitating his gesture, all the teens flashed their middle fingers, a most spectacular sight because of the large number of kids. They made a collective "Hush!" and ran away with laughter.
The small child, Fan Xian, stood up from the stone steps, patted the dust off his rear, turned around, and ran into the courtyard. Before he closed the door, he glanced with his clever eyes at the young, blind boss of the grocery store across from the house, displaying a complexity of emotion that did not match his age. He then gently closed the door.
 
It had been four years since Fan Shen had come to this world. During that time, he gradually came to the realization that he was not dreaming. He truly did arrive in an unknown world. In some ways, this world appeared the same as the one he remembered, but in others, it was not the same at all.
Overhearing the gossip of the servants in the count estate, he had finally deciphered his identity. He was the bastard son of the capital’s Count Sinan.
In stereotypical stories of rich and powerful families, a bastard son was easily hated and persecuted by the wife and concubines. His honorable father, who had no real power, seems to have had only one son. To carry on the family lineage, Fan Shen was sent to Danzhou Harbor, far away from the capital.
Over the years, he had become accustomed to his identity. Still, the soul of an adult trapped in the body of a child has to withstand experiences completely different both physically and psychologically. A normal person would probably go insane. Luckily, in his previous life, Fan Shen was bedridden for many years due to a neuromuscular disease called myasthenia gravis. Compared with his miserable former life, the slight difficulty in moving now was nothing at all. Though living in the body of a child, he had adapted well to his current life. 
What he was most unaccustomed to was his name. At the age of one, the Count sent a letter and gave him the name Fan Xian and the style name Anzhi.
It was not a good name. In the dialect of his hometown, it sounded like a curse, meaning "freak."
His form being that of a mere baby at the time, he had no way to express his opposition using words.
At the start of his hospital treatment in his former life, Fan Shen could move his head. He often begged the cute nurse to buy him pirated DVDs and books.
Living in the Count’s home, he learned that the Countess was a kind woman with a reputation for coldness. In fact, she cared for Fan Xian very much. The servants never treated him differently for being born a bastard. However, he was still upset because he could not communicate with anyone.
How could he tell the servant girls that he came from another world? How could he tell his teacher that he could read every character in his books?
So, he often snuck out the side door to play with the non-royal children. Much of the time, he regaled them with stories from the movies and novels of his homeworld.
It seemed that he wanted to remind himself of something. He wanted to remind himself that he did not belong to this world. In the other world, he had movies, Internet and porn.
He didn’t know why he told the kids about The Truman Show today. With its unsuspecting plot and without the charming Jim Carrey, he should have known that the youth of Danzhou Harbor would not like it at all.
But he told the story anyway.
Deep in his heart, he felt his situation to be ridiculous—why would he suddenly, so close to death, be reborn in this new body? He couldn’t help but think of that movie...maybe the people on the streets and the seagulls in the sky were props?
Just like The Truman Show.
Truman finally realized that his reality was fake. He resolutely sailed until his boat punctured the wall of the dome, and he found an exit door.
But Fan Shen—no, Fan Xian—knew that he was not Truman. This world was real, not some huge movie set.
So he found himself telling stories every day to remind himself that he belonged to another world. How ridiculous it all was!


A family inclined to kindness and charity would grace the descendants.
Thanks to one small act of kindness,
by providence she comes across a grateful friend;
Fortunate that her mother,
has done an unperceived good deed….

Men should rescue the distressed and aid the poor…
Who would have guessed that kindness in this world ultimately would be the road that one must choose, that proverbial fork in the road?

Clouds of rain float on eastern winds as new vines start to blossom.
Though drums of war roar too loudly and their brilliance has been lost,
a green grass carpet greets the sun by the break of morning.
Let us wait for the yellow leaves, a few gourds are harvested.

After a couple of hours, the figures of Lissandra and Law could be seen at a table inside the Queen's public library together.
       It took a while to get to the library and to find a table so that Law's mom could begin editing various news articles for the paper.
       "Just remember Law be careful and don't talk to strangers, and if you don't come back in 20 mins, I'm going to come to look for you, okay?" Liz said as Law ran to go find some books. 
       The only reply she received was a thumbs up from the little redhead boy that did not even bother to look back.
       "He may be as smart as an adult, but he still has the manners of a 5-year-old" huffed out a slightly annoyed Liz.
       As Law wandered the library, looking for history and science books. The Marvel world was leagues ahead of his own in terms of technology and understanding of science, so he decided to study as much as he could. He wanted to become a world-renowned scientist or doctor in this world was with his intelligence and abilities it would so much easier. He wandered through various aisles looking for higher level textbooks before he crashed into a teenage girl and 3 or 4 of her books onto the ground.
       Law looked down at the girl he had knocked down only to be stunned. She was a pretty blonde girl with long hair wearing a sweater and jeans. But that wasn't what stunned him, it was the fact that she looked similar to someone in his memories. Law quickly got out of his daze and noticed she had started to pick up her books. 
       "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going," Law said while helping her pick up her books. 
       "It's alright it happens to me all the time when I'm interested in something," the blonde teenager said with a smile on her face as they finished picking up all the dropped books. Law handed the books back to her, but not before noticing that they were college level physics textbooks.
         "Once again, I'm sorry for knocking you over. My name is Law Napier." He said as he stuck out his hand.
       "I'm Susan Storm, and what were you looking for so fervently," Susan asked using words clearly above his age range.
       'Well, at least that confirms my thoughts that she is Susan Storm from the Fantastic Four. She doesn't look like a young Jessica Alba but rather a teenage version of a Susan Storm from Earth-616. It seems that all the Marvel characters are either going to look like their movie counterparts or the comic versions.' Thought Law before he replied 
       "I was looking for high-school physics, chemistry, and biology textbooks as well as history books," Law answered honestly seeing no reason to lie. Although he usually didn't like conversing with people he just met, he wasn't going to pass up the best opportunity to talk with one of his favorite heroines,
       "Aren't you a smart little boy, tell me how old you are?" Susan asked inquisitively.
       "I'm 5, and It's not my fault I haven't hit my growth spurt yet" Law pouted. Causing Susan to start giggling.
       "Where did you find them, I've been looking everywhere for textbooks," Law asked inquisitively.
       "Well, why don't I show you then *Little* Law," Susan said causing Law to pout.
       "Thank you" Law murmured as she began to lead him to his desired section. 
       As they walked to the section, Law and Susan struck up a conversation clearly intrigued by each other's intelligence. The only thing Law could think was that the comics and movies did not capture and display her true intelligence. 
       As they continued their conversation, she started to tell him about her family, the Baxter Foundation, and about how her little brother Johnny was always annoying her and her mother to read his books.
       This shocked Law due to the fact that in the Fantastic Four comics did not have a Baxter Foundation and the fact that her mother was still alive even when she was a teenager.
       'So, I can't just think that the future is going to completely coincide with the movies, huh. Well, I did ask for an AU, this is going to be so awesome.' Law thought with a smile on his face. (Author's Note: This is just so I don't have to follow the side movies, tv shows, or the comics exactly.)
       "Here you go little Law, all the textbooks are here. Do you want me to help select the best ones?" Susan asked amicably.
       "Yes please," Law replied. 
       "Sure little guy let me help you," She said smugly puffing up her chest.
       After a few minutes of looking over the books, she picked out a few and about a couple inches thick. 
       "Here these are the best books, the others just repeat the same thing again and again. Now then I got to get going and search for a place to read my books" Susan said getting ready to leave.
       "Hey, Susan wants to come and sit with me and my mom. There is still plenty of space there." Law offered thinking to help the teenage girl.
       "Sure, that would be a great help Law. Lead the way." Susan said happily due to having found no place to sit for the past hour. Law leads him to where his mother was sitting still busy with work. 
       "Hi, mom I brought a friend to sit here, she helped me find and pick out my books. Is that okay?" Law asked his mother who finally looked up.
       Liz looked up from her work only to be surprised by the appearance of a beautiful blonde girl, while quickly gained an inquisitive look.
       "Yep, that fine Law we have plenty of space here. Thank you for taking care of my baby boy, he has a hard time paying attention to his surroundings and probably would have hurt himself if someone didn't help him" Liz said smiling at Susan who started to giggle. 
       "It's fine Ms. Napier, Law is a perfect gentleman. My name is Susan Storm." Susan replied covering for him. Liz gained a look of surprise, and then immediately that look turned to happiness.
       "You must be Mary's 15-year-old baby girl," Liz said while both Law and Susan gained a shocked look. Law for the fact that his mom was connected to so many notable figures in the Marvel universe, and Susan for the fact that Law's mother knew her mom. 
       "Oh, I should probably introduce myself. I am Lissandra Napier, your mother and I used to go to the same college but while I studied literature, your mother studied bio-chem. You can call me aunty Liz, after all, I was there when you were born. Also, you can refer to Law as your younger brother because your mom and I were already planning to introduce him to you and your little brother soon." Liz replied smiling. Susan took a few seconds to comprehend the situation before taking the situation in stride.
       "Okay, Aunty Liz it's nice to meet you," Susan replied widening the smile on Liz's face. Susan then suddenly turned to Law with a smug smile on her face.
       "Did you hear that Little Law, from now on you will refer to me as Big SIs Sue" Susan stated smugly causing Law to gain a deadpan look while causing his mother to laugh. 
       'This is going to be a long day' Law couldn't help but think to himself and Susan got settled in a seat at the table.

The Marvel World has a variety of powers and abilities. Just how much havoc and change can a single cultivator bring into the mix. Well, we are about to find out. 
	Aaron Zamora was a middle age author whose life continually screwed. Watch as a somewhat broken man uses his 5 wishes to gain the powers of Desolate Era cultivator. Will the Marvel World, and to other multiverses that exist still be the same after a being who goes against the heavens is brought into the mix? After all, cultivation is the best way for a mortal to Ascend the Heavens.

Originally, Angor was making the music box as a gift for Toby. However, since Sunders mentioned to him that Lady Mirror loved interesting trinkets, Angor decided to make a second one for her. Lady Mirror did save his life, and Angor currently had nothing else to repay such a big favor, so he had to rely on his innovation.
Since it was a gift, the music box had to at least look good on the outside. Even if Lady Mirror would not mind it, for good faith, Angor was still going to try his best.
He took out his pen and paper and began to design.
He learned how to sketch before. Soon enough, the basic shape of a music box appeared under his pen tip.
A small, golden box which revealed a black stage inside, where a dancer dressed in white danced on her toe tips.
It was the same music box Angor saw in his mother's bedroom during childhood. When wound up, the music box would create crystal tones, while the dancer would dance around along the melody.
Angor inspected his sketch and frowned. It looked like a typical music box that one would find in any toy shop. A child might find it fun, but Lady Mirror should be a real aged being who existed for gods-know-how-long. Angor did not believe that Lady Mirror would be tempted by such a simple doll toy.
He quickly drew several more designs. Heart-shaped, round ones, square… he found every available music box design in his memory.
And no matter how he looked, something always felt wrong about them.
He rubbed his hair and tossed the paper away.
Typical music boxes all needed a certain space to contain the necessary components such as cylinders and springs. But the one he was trying to make was based on Echo Flowers, which did not need all those. He could try to make something a lot different.
But how?
Usually, alchemists who sought new ideas could easily do it by traveling around the world and seeing new things. Angor, however, did not need to do so. When he realized that his vision and experience were still too limited, he simply gave up on thinking further and took out his "cheat"—the hologram tablet.
The system always held more things to discover.
The Earth only witnessed the era of science for a few hundred years, yet thanks to various indescribable human natures, people from Earth had created many ways to satisfy their spiritual needs. 
From some of the novels, Angor could see that humans from Earth had not achieved total prosperity. Even then, many of them tended to idle their lives away in pleasure. One of the authors from the novels created a world in which everyone admired young idols, while the main character, or the author himself, became the one that "owned" the idols in the end, and he began to show off his wealth and ego to everyone, gaining much self-satisfaction.
The novel might be exaggerated stories. However, Angor could tell that people from Earth knew a lot of things to entertain their spirits.
The wizarding world also had similar concepts, such as entertainment magazines, adult books, and various story collections. However, they only had limited audiences, unlike what was offered during the era of information explosion on Earth.
Angor found the entertainment section and looked through the folders one by one.
He never checked these files much. He only once read several novels to kill time when he had nothing else to do on the cloud whale. But ever since he came to Brute Cavern, he barely had enough time to meditate, study spells while doing other jobs, so he never checked them again.
The last time he opened these folders was when he chose a piece of music to play.
He went for random files this time, believing that there had to be something that would give him the inspiration he needed.
"Literature… no, they kill too many brain cells. Cheap novels? They always make something big in another world and do everything that looks fun, they don't have much professional knowledge. How about science articles? I guess not. Cuisine recipes…?" 
Angor checked through several food menus out of curiosity. The pictures of different bright dishes quickly reminded him of Jon's cooking. His mouth watered.
A folder named "art galleries" caught his attention.
He opened the folder and saw various artworks performed by all kinds of famous artists around the Earth.
Angor's eyes widened again and again when looking at the masterpieces displaying their creators' great emotions and ideas. 
The paintings from both worlds all had similar levels. Well, maybe the wizarding world was better since this world existed for way longer than the history of civilization on Earth.
Angor saw many modern pictures as well, which showed sky-piercing buildings, streams of vehicles and crowds, as well as all kinds of strange-looking shop signs that shined with different colors.
His curiosity about Earth rose again. He really wished to find out how a metropolis that accommodated tens of millions of people looked like.
And he was answered soon enough.
He saw a folder called "films and movies" and wondered what "film" meant until he opened one of the files within and realized he had been missing out a whole new world.
The file was called "Mystery of The Deep Blue". Under Angor's command, the tablet projected a new reality around him.
As a narrator told a story in a gentle voice, the scene of an ocean appeared in front of Angor, and the camera suddenly went down from the air and dived into the water, causing schools of fish to scatter around their coral homes in panic…
Angor was shocked speechless by the wonderful display. So this was what "film" meant!
He could not understand the narrator. However, he could see subtitles below that explained the speeches in the same language he learned from Jon, which told him that "Mystery of The Deep Blue" was filed by a foreign storyteller group which meant to tell knowledge about the sea.
Angor quickly got an idea. Since there was something that described the sea, there had to be films about cities!
He quickly scrolled down the files and saw a film called "A Man and A City". Upon opening the file, someone spoke beside his ears in a language he knew well—Mandarin.
This was the first time Angor heard the language again after leaving Jon. It felt even better when the narrator talked in such a clear, emotional tone.
As the storyteller spoke, beautiful scenery emerged in front of his eyes.
The film described a number of cities with the views of the local residents.
Angor's dream of learning about the cities of Earth was finally satisfied today. He had been dreaming about the fantastic and mysterious places since he was young, and now he got to witness them by his own eyes.
Angor quickly grew addicted to the film and completely forgot about his original plan. He spent the entire day watching films until midnight.
After "A Man and A City", he watched a number of films of different genres, including romance, sci-fi, even ancient wuxia.
And he felt greatly satisfied. Of all the films, he preferred watching documentaries, which always helped him learn something about Earth with their neutral, unbiased comments.
When he grew tired, he finally realized it was already the next morning.
Angor looked at his blank draft paper and sighed in frustration. He planned to find innovation from the films and only got dragged into them instead.
He spun his pen between his fingers while trying to recall what he watched. He was not thinking about the music box at all while watching the films. Now that he calmed down to think them over, he noticed he just learned a lot from them which could be helpful in his creation.
Using the great ambition still lingering on his mind, Angor quickly expressed a new idea on the paper and created something with an exotic yet intriguing design.
A number of crystal tubes climbed downward in a spiral manner. Each turn on the rubes was marked with a star, which meant there would be an illusion node placed.
The tubes all moved in different patterns. The simple twists and turns created an overall design which looked like a growing tree.
Angor placed a flower-shaped component in the center of the tubes. This idea came from a gramophone he saw in one of the films. Instead of copying the bronze-colored flower-shaped speaker, he used transparent crystals plus pale paints to express the form of shifting sea waves.
The simple sketch on the paper already looked luxuriously artistic. Angor hoped that his final product could be as astonishing.
Since the shape and illusion nodes were determined, Angor would need to find proper materials and decide which music and illusion to use.


A young traveler who receives enlightenment from another civilization is on a mission to save his beloved mentor. In his journey to seek the ultimate truth, he travels extensively and along the way, he experiences some unpredictable encounters. Will he be able to save his mentor or will his path be derailed?

The clock's arm ticked ever so slow, Nathan thought. Feeling the march of time - painfully, painfully slow. Ten minutes were left till the end of class and his classmates were already bouncing from desk to desk, socializing within their circles. He, however, refused. His head rested, cradled by his folded arms on his desk as he sat. Socializing had become burdensome to him, especially with the girls his age. Their subjects only ever encompassing the latest couples, celebrities, and how much they loved~ that cute guy one class over.

Nathan himself was considered 'handsome'. A labeled 'jock', his good looks often made and somewhat approachable personality made him popular with girls of every age. His short dark brown hair flared up naturally, with black asymmetrical eyes with the faint beginnings of a 5'o clock shadow and lightly tanned skin. He was considered a manly person, leaving the girls around him deeming him - "The Bad Boy". It wasn't a particularly enjoyed, trying to ignore its existence. It ended up morphing into "Ice Prince".

Only a few months remained of the school year. Afterward, he'd be thrown into the confusing, never-ending maze of adult life. Maybe go straight into the workforce, or attempt college and hope he was smarter than a fifth grader. Maybe, in the end, he'd be on track for a high paying job. Either route was viewed as a hassle to him. He wasn't great with books, rather, liked to learn hands on.

It was all the same though, disinterest with life slowly becoming grey. He never could remember when it happened. A slow chasm widened between him and his friends. Between the girl he 'loved'. A somewhat social butterfly and womanizer when he first entered high school. That naive, gentle smile had long been replaced with a calm stoic lazy face.

Before was a different fling every month. Sex was the best thing next to the invention of pizza to him. Now? He'd rather torture himself trying to play that retro E.T game. It was a chore. Socializing was an even bigger bore. Gossip, drama, who was in, and who was out. A never-ending vicious cycle that only seem to consume anyone involved. Of course, he wasn't immune to its siren songs, but now he couldn't even bother himself to talk along when he heard about things.

Slowly, but surely he wished for a different world.

It was a place where 'Nathan' existed.  Video games. Fiction novels, and movies. These places had captured his complete heart. A place he could shed his skin of a mediocre 'young adult' and spread his wings. Doctors and psychologists say it's merely depression and it was normal to have it during puberty. It didn't help him solve his problem though.

Yes, that lul of a feeling. Disinterest in the world - his world. With each passing week, he grew fonder of fictional stories of heroes, monsters, and magic. Some days it'd be fictional sci-fi. Others it would be mysteries. Movies, novels, and video games. Anything and everything. He loved to escape to them.

He didn't what to be a hero, no. He wanted an adventure. An escape from that soul-crushing life this world was bound to hand him in a few months.

Travel unexplored lands, traverse through ruins and fight monsters. He wasn't interested in being the main character, he wanted to be free. Wonder from place to place and see that world. Free from the shackles this world placed on him. That was his dilemma he would say.

In this world, most lands have been explored, there were no monsters beside humans themselves. There were no unexplored ruins he could find by simple wondering aimlessly within the forests nearby. He also wasn't particularly skilled either. That was the only common denominator between him and his classmates. Certainly, there were others wrangling with his thoughts as well.

His thoughts roamed, just as they've done every day before. It most like would tomorrow too. The clock's ticks lulled him, beckoning him to a sweet sleep. The voices his classmates slowly faded. The tick-toks began to echo before it too began to fade into the distance. He felt his thoughts melt away and darkness embraced him.



"Wakey wakey~"

A girl's voice whispered softly into his ear. His mind bucked into gear, with his body following suit. His eyes shot open as he raised his upper body.  A girl that looked no more than 15 sat on top of his teacher's desk. Ponytail of silky black hair, ink-black eyes doting healthy white skin, and a charming smile that could topple countries. Wearing blue denim skinny jeans and a loose black blouse. She was a stunning beauty, a beauty Nathan could recognize within a split moment. 

"Lily...?" Confusion in his voice, his eyebrows furrowed and expression cramped slightly. His mind raced to piece things together. He then noticed that the room was bare, in fact, it wasn't his classroom anymore. Four white walls, a white floor and white roof with no doors or windows. There were no lights, no other desks and his classmates were absent. Yet, despite this, the room was brightly lit. 
His desk and chair; Lily and his teacher's desk. 

Only this existed inside the room. "O..? So you do remember me?" Her smile morphed into a grin, ear to ear. A felt a chill on his back. He knew this expression all too well. She was pissed. "I'm surprised you do, I heard you were sleeping with plenty of women behind my back while we dated." Yes, she definitely was pissed, but her claim was false. 

It was actually different... Lily was his longest relationship and he was definitely serious about her before... His dilemma began to run amuck in his life. "No, I never cheated on you." Disregarding the whole situation. He still cared about this girl, that's why he left. To deal with his issue. Sort of a 'Set her free' trope if you will. Her eyes were frosty black like a tundra in the night. Her legs began to swing faster, agitated. 

"Don't lie to me, your ex-girlfriends told me you were sleeping with them. That's why you're here. As payback..." With each word, her voice became colder. Her expression becoming stoic. Only her eyes displayed her anger and her fingers that tapped to some unknown rhythm."I'm dropping you into my world!" When those vindictive words left her mouth, the room began to slowly distort. 

Panic rose in his mind, he didn't know what was happening. He rushed out of the chair and charged forward. Lily's was dumbstruck by his sudden charge. Before she could react, his arms wrapped around her protectively as the room disappeared. An endless abyss swallowed them up before either could say or move...

The moment he woke up, Eric's head felt as heavy as a mountain. He shook it a few times to get rid of the feeling, and once he had taken note of his surroundings, he smiled as he sat up. It was already past nine in the morning.
 
This was the Williams' residence second-floor bedroom, the blazing summer sun rays were streaming unhindered through the south balcony's French doors. It was already August and you could feel Los Angeles' warmth way before noon.
 
It's been half a month since his rebirth, and Eric had been busy with all sorts of things. He hadn't even had the time to act as a tourist before jumping into the Hollywood circle.

But in Hollywood, original soundtracks were an integral part of movies. Not just the background music, but even the theme songs were enough to become classics. For a few days, Eric studied music every day and practiced basketball. Three days after he had gotten used to this routine, he received a phone call from Penny Marshall.
 
"Of course, Eric. What I meant was for you to be present during the auditions of other roles. After all, you're the writer, you could offer some advice, right ?"

Eric pictured his tall and strong stature getting bullied, then owning everyone on the basketball court; it was at least less far-fetched than the original. Besides, Eric was convinced that his performance would not be outshined by Brad Pitt.
 
When the latter would become famous, people would still talk about how he played Eric Williams' son, how awesome was that?
 
While his lips curled into a smile, he studied the remaining list and tried to spot celebrities from his previous life.
 
He looked at the list which contained more than a dozen actresses' personal information and stopped at the first name on the list, and his chin almost fell off. Angelina Jolie! Ah, it looked like the whole family was in attendance today!

They reached the stairs on the second floor. At the end of the hallway, there was a room with a half-opened door. Ye Song could see the light leaking out of it.

“I will be waiting here, Young Master.” Maggie said after bowing to Ye Song politely.

Ye Song nodded and walked into the room.

Baron’s deep voice became louder as Ye Song walked closer.

“…In the territory, no one has the balls to ignore my order. Those criminals must be outsiders.” The baron said, but Ye Song only caught the second half.

Another deep voice came from the inside of the room, and it was Knight Audis.

“I am not so sure about that. Based on the criminals’ appearances, they are definitely from the east, and it must be the Saladin Empire. Their styles of clothes and weapons are all very similar to the east. They were also fighting like a trained army, not some random criminals. I suppose they are taking revenge for the event that occurred four years ago.” Audis said.

“It will take the best horses to travel from Saladin Empire to my territory within half a year, and there is a huge forest in between. The possibility of that being them is miniscule. However, I think that it could’ve been that old punk Candia.” Baron Karl said, and his voice sounded cold. “That is the last thing he could do.”

“True, and the chances are high here. We were pushing him too hard recently…” Audis said.

Ye Song did not knock on the door, and he only stood outside. He knew that his father and Audis had already heard his footsteps a while ago. The only thing he needed to do was to wait outside.

“However, there is one more possibility – Lasga.” Audis guessed.

“Lasga? I’ve been there about ten years ago, how is the place now? Is the mad woman Sally still there?” Karl asked.

“I think she is still there. Well, let’s leave it here. You can come in, Angele.” Knight Audis said loudly.

“Coming.” Ye Song said, and he opened the door.

It was a study room; there were two shelves full of books by the wall, and Ye Song could see the fire dancing slowly in the wall fireplace.

The baron and Knight Audis were sitting by a table, and they both had white cups in front of them.

Ye Song took a glance at the inside of the cup, and the cup was filled up with black liquid; it had a nice mint smell.

“Father and Uncle Audis, I am here.” Ye Song greeted them politely as the memories of the former Angele resurfaced within his mind.

Karl and Audis were two of the four strongest people in the Rio Territory. Baron Karl did not treat Audis as a mere knight, but more like a friend of him. They were two top swordsmen that survived the Redbud Battle.

There were no warrior rankings in this world, and there was only one way for a knight to show how strong he was, which was fighting battles.

“Take a seat.” The baron said while pointing at a chair nearby.

Ye Song nodded, and he sat down quietly.

“The situation outside is not going well. The Saladin Empire is very likely to put up a fight with us, the Rudin Empire. Our territory is right between the two country’s borders, and this place is going to be the frontline. I asked my guy to contact one of my old gangs at the harbour, and ordered some brand new gears from him. The armors and weapons should be on their way here…” The baron started talking to Audis again.

Ye Song sat by the side and started to examine the two people in front of him.

He was already familiar with the baron, and there was nothing more he could find about him.

But he never actually analyzed Audis before. Audis really looked like a bear, and he was huge even while just sitting there. He was about the height of two adult males. The iron armor worn by him was all black and shiny. He was bald, and his head looked like a lightbulb. He also had a silver earring worn on his left ear, and with all of that combined, it made him look barbaric because of the outfit and the accessories he wore.

‘Analyze their fighting skills based on my sensory information.’ Ye Song gave an order to Zero with his thoughts.

Suddenly, Ye Song could see information running down in front of his eyes like a waterfall. The words were blue, and they were very intense and complex.

Ye Song knew that an individual’s fighting ability was very important in this world. He learnt from Angele’s memory that unrivalled power was the only thing that would help him fulfill his desires. Also, becoming powerful would help Ye Song protect himself, so he decided to analyze the fighting skills of the two.

The baron and Audis kept talking about external affairs. But Ye Song noticed that the baron sometimes had his eyes on him, and the baron showed a disappointed expression whenever he saw that Ye Song was not completely listening.

They were trying to get Ye Song involved in the discussion in order to help Ye Song become prepared to be the next leader, but Ye Song’s facial expression while analyzing the results made it seem like he was uninterested, and it made the two very disappointed.

Ye Song did not really understand the point, but at least he got the results.

‘Karl Rio, results based on sensory information: Strength is higher than 2, Agility is higher than 2, and Stamina is higher than 2. Audis, results based on sensory information: Strength is higher than 3, Agility is about 1, and Stamina is higher than 3.’ Zero reported in Ye Song’s brain.

“How is your recovery? Are you getting better?” Audis asked kindly.

Ye Song stood up and saluted before quickly walking out of the room.

Maggie was still waiting by the staircase while holding the candle stand. She stood in the dark alone until Ye Song finished his thing.

Ye Song quickly walked towards her.

“No one is around during this time? Why is there no light?” Ye Song asked.

“It is the living quarters; most of the people in the castle are at the training grounds and the bar. There are not many people here, so we are not wasting candles here.” Maggie shook her head and answered.

“Okay.” Ye Song nodded.

According to Angele’s memory, the castle was divided to several areas.

Living quarters, activity area, and the areas for miscellaneous activities. 

The activity area included the training grounds and the arena. The other areas included the bar, blacksmith shop, and the stable, etc.

The castle was about the size of an average university on Earth, but there were only about two hundred people in it. Only strong knights, swordsmen, and lancers were allowed to live in the castle, and there were only about a hundred of them.

“Let’s head back.” Ye Song stopped thinking.

Maggie led Ye Song back to his bedroom.

Ye Song saw Cecilia hiding in the corner as he opened the door.

“You filthy rat, how did you enter Young Master Angele’s room?!” Maggie saw her, and she started yelling.

Cecilia moved closer to the corner, trying to hide.

She wore a white-greyish dress, and her shoulders were exposed; her skin was white and smooth; also, her hair was long and black. If she was not crying, she would actually be a beautiful young girl.

Ye Song did not really want to do anything. He took the silk sheet on his bed, and threw it over to her. Ye Song decided to just lie down on the bed because he was really tired after all that.

“Ha……” Ye Song breathed deeply.

Using the navigation function of the system, he was like a fish in a water, strolling inside the city like the back of his hand. Quickly, he arrived in front of large building, hanging on top of it was a large signage, and written clearly on bright red color - Beris' Library.

Before he roam this unknown world, first he must have enough knowledge what is this world and how it works. He also lack the knowledge on the cultivation levels in this world.

He pushed the door open and what greet him was the peaceful environment of the library. Everything was so quiet and it feels like he was the only one here. Seeing him, the librarian was very shocked to see him a black robe, no, it was because he was wearing a black robe that he was shocked. Others might not know about that black robe but who is he? He was the librarian in this city for a couple of years already and with the accumulated knowledge he has it will be impossible not to know what that black robe is.

Darma Robe, a special kind of robe that represents the highest authority in Fugran Empire which is only second to the King. Only a handful of people has this robe and all of them with no exception are members of the royal family.

Fighting a Black Dragon is not easy especially if you need to kill it, but finding one proves to be more difficult as it can only be seen in the nightmare realm rarely.

The Darma Robes represents that that person is either highly talented or is very close to the King. And based on the appearance of the young boy in front of him, he appears to be not older that 12 and this means that he is either talented or very close to the King.

The latter one made sense because he was very young, but if it turns out to be first one, then how much talent does he have to move the king?

So he smiled and he treated the boy politely.

"Young master how can I help you?" the librarian bowed before the him, and all of his fat flesh trembled as he did. He was unable to bend any further because of his big belly.

'Young master? What's happening here?' not knowing what was going on around him, his face frowned in confusion.

When the fat librarian saw hi facial expression, he got the wrong idea and thought that he was discontent with his greetings.

"Young master how may be of service to you?" he repeated what he said earlier but this time he did not just bow, he knelt down on one knee while he lowered his head facing the ground.

The people reading books inside the library was attracted to the commotion at the door of the library, they were dumbfounded to see the fatty librarian was kneeling in front of a young boy wearing black robe.

At the same time, Ren was also looking at the guy in front of him like he was an idiot. He has only been here for not longer than 2 minutes but how come did this happened. And what was exactly happening here?

The people around him are all starting to talk about him. Even though they knew that he can hear all of them talk, they still talk to each other as if Ren was deaf.

It is because Ren is at the 1-star Pemptus rank which have improved his hearing and sight, but others didn't know about this so they were all confidently talking to each other.

It is made from the black dragon's skin, which lived on the Nightmare Realm, one of the great five realms. The Mortal Realm, Nightmare Realm, Nether Realm, Elemental Realm, and Divine Realm.

And so, the people inside the library who are still talking about him earlier are now kneeling down in front of him making the atmosphere inside the library to become more awkward.

It was unknown to him why but Ren suddenly have an idea of imitating one of the characters in the movie he watched way back on earth - The Dark Prince.

The main character of the movie was a prince, who was very cold to others no matter who they were. Because of this, Ren had an urge to copy those prideful nobles he only saw in the movies.

"Arise, I'm just here to read some books so don't mind me." his voiced was cold, very cold and the people around him could even feel that the atmosphere is getting colder so they stood up immediately and gave way to Ren.

'Success' he shouted in hi mind as he walked out of the crowd and to the bookshelves in a fast pace.

Luckily, he was able to imitate the dark prince which is really a surprise to him. If he knew that he was this good at acting he would have not needed to work hard only to end up falling.

What happen had already happened, he can do nothing to change the past so he will just do his best in this world. And right now, he has a very important job to do, which is to read as much as many books as he can.


Oblivious to Ren he was now the topic of the young girls in the city. Because of the news that a young boy wearing Darma Robe in inside the library reading books.

The news quickly spread given that almost all of the citizens in the city are quite a talker. So in less than a minute or so the story how cold and indifferent Ren was known by everyone. They even added some stories like a girl fell in love with him with just one glance and he subdued the tyrant librarian who was the terror of all bookworms.

And some even more exaggerating things like single handedly defeating three thugs trying to molest a fair young lady and so on.

Because of the misunderstanding in the library, Ren was nicknamed as the "Icy Prince" because of his legendary cold treatment to others despite of who they are.
