"excuse me but I'm not messing with her at all, if anything she's messing with me", I said with the most sass I could.

 Inside my head of course so I didn't get punched. I got up and said " excuse me but I didn't do anything, so please leave me alone and all will be well, okay...yeah ahh bye", he gave me the scariest look I've ever seen.

"ah Mikaru I think we should go" I said quietly to him, he agreed and as I got up and started leaving to grab a drink from the cafe... that big tall guy tripped me over. There was a big crack when I landed on the ground, I thought it was just my books until I felt pain lots and lots of pain. I was in so much agony and everyone was laughing at me, well everyone except for Mikaru and Usami.

"Usagi are you okay?," Usami asked.

I was trying to answer but all that came out was tears and little screeches of pain. 

Mikaru and Usami ended up calling the ambulance straight after asking me if I was alright and they took me away, but because there was no ambulance close to here I got told we would have to go to the one that's about an hour away. Mikaru and Usami both asked if they could come along,but the ambulance crew told them they were only allowed to come if they were family, which they weren't. I knew that would happen but what happened next was unexpected.

as they were getting ready to leave Mikaru shouted out...

"WHAT IF I WAS HER BOYFRIEND?", everyone stopped with a shocked look. although through all the tears I think my look was greater than everyone else's.

" well if you're her boyfriend I see no reason that you can't go," the ambulance crew said. Mikaru looked so happy until they said something else.

"but first we will need to clarify this with Usagi," he suddenly looked really sad because he thought that I would tell them we aren't actually together.
After some very strong pain killers I said to them....

"Why of course he's my boyfriend we've been together since elementary school," I gave out a short giggle. the ambulance let him come along after that and all Mikaru did was hug me and say thank you.

We must have both fallen asleep on the way to the hospital because we don't remember what happened in the van, except we both now have headaches from all the rocking of the van. as they brought me into the room I had to stay in for a bit before getting x rays done I heard two doctors talking to each other saying.....
"I don't know if Usagi will make it, she doesn't know about her other health problems," I instantly got worried and the heartbeat monitor started pacing more and getting faster with each breath until suddenly I passed out and all I could hear was doctors rushing in and telling me to open my eyes but I couldn't.

"Help me" I tried to say....

Lily's POV

Harry and Ron were still dateless. I'd seen who asked Hermione. We were all sitting in the great hall for a study hall.

"This is mad. At this rate we'll be the only one's without dates."

"Ron don't talk." I hissed.

He chuckled and then my dad slapped him over the head. I'd tried to tell him.

"Well us and Neville." Ron said.

"Yeah but he can take himself." Harry said.

I smirked.

"It might interest you to know that Neville's already got someone." Hermione said.

"Oh, now I'm really depressed. Hey Lily, would you go with me?"

"She's going with Malfoy." Hermione said.

I nodded. A piece of paper hit Ron on the head. He opened it and then looked at his brother.

"Who're you taking?"

Fred looked around and then threw the paper at Angelina.

"Angelina! Do you want to go to the ball with me?"

She smiled and nodded. Fred winked at Ron and I kept myself from laughing. My father was coming back towards us. I was done trying to warn him. Harry wasn't.

"Hermione, you're a girl."

I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Oh, well spotted."

"Come with one of us?"

Dad hit Ron over the head and then he hit Harry. I shook my head again.

"Come on, it's one thing for a bloke to show up alone, but for a girl it's just sad."

My eyes slowly widened.

"I won't be going alone because believe it or not someone's asked me!" she hissed.

She stood up and handed her book to my dad. When she came back she glared at Ron.

"And I said yes!"

She took her books and left without another word. I shook my head and went back to my book. The boys kept talking I saw my dad come back. I smirked and he set down his book. He pulled his sleeves back a bit and then slammed his hands on the back of their heads. I smiled and handed him my finished work as he passed. He nodded in approval. Before I left, I smacked the boys over the head.

Harry's POV

I knew Ron deserved the hit, but not me. When we were done I went to the owlery. I bumped into Cho and I knew it was my chance!

Draco's POV

I was present when Weasley 'asked' Fleur Delacour to the ball. It was highly amusing. The ball was tomorrow evening and I couldn't remember being so nervous. Mainly because my girlfriend was so beautiful. And also because her father would kill me if I messed up. Blaise found me when I was getting ready.

"You know you're going with the prettiest girl in the castle, right?"

"Yeah."

"And the girl with the scariest and probably deadliest father."

"Yeah, thanks for that."

He laughed and I scowled at him.

Lily's POV

My dress was a brilliant emerald green. It spread out around me and hugged my body almost like a mermaid. It was strapless and I took a deep breath. I barely recognized myself. I had on a silver crystal choker with a green stone at the base of my throat. I wore teardrop earrings and my hair was braided on the sides, whereas the rest hung down. I'd put silver flower clip into my hair to hold the two braids together in the back. I nodded in approval before leaving the common room. I was one of the last to come out. My father found me on the way to the Great Hall. His eyes were wide. I smiled and looked down at myself.

"Is that my daughter?"

"I think I look pretty good."

"Lily… you look beautiful. It seems only yesterday you were rolling around on the floor in the living room laughing at the birds I made. Now look at you. Fourteen years later. You'll never know how proud I am of you."

I smiled at him.

"Lily, there you are! I-"

Draco stopped when he saw me. His eyes were practically popping out of his head.

"Beautiful…" he managed.

I laughed a bit and dad rolled his eyes.

I sighed but smiled a bit. Overprotective.

"Of course, sir." Draco said.

"Good."

Dad turned to me and smiled a bit.

"Have fun tonight."

I hugged him before leaving with Draco.

"Do you have any idea how gorgeous you are?"

I smiled and took his hand.

"Only because I have you."

He chuckled and squeezed my hand.

"Whose Potter taking?"

"He asked Cho, but I guess someone already asked her. He's taking Pavarti and Ron is taking Padama."

"I heard Weasley's robes are ancient."

"Hey, be nice."

He rolled his eyes and I smirked. He stopped before we got to the great hall. I gave him a confused look and he conjured a rose. I smiled and laughed lightly.

"For you, my lady."

"Why thank you, good sir."

He fixed it onto my hair and kissed my cheek.

"Shall we?"

He offered me his arm and I took it. When I saw who asked Cho, I scowled.

"Damn pretty boys." I grumbled.

"What?"

"No, nothing."

We walked in and I smiled at Ron. He smiled at me but glared at Draco. I sighed and shook my head. When the champions came in I smiled. Hermione was with Viktor Krum.

"Is that Hermione Granger? With Viktor Krum?"

I looked at Padama and Ron.

"No. No absolutely not." Ron said.

"She looks… pretty." Draco said.

I smiled and held onto his arm.

"Yes she does."

"But she'll never be you. Blaise told me I was taking the prettiest girl in the castle. Then he told me I was taking the girl with the scariest and deadliest dad."

I laughed and we moved so we could see the champions dance. Harry was a little awkward but he did well. McGonagall was dancing with Dumbledore. After a while, everyone was off the floor. A song started to play and Draco stood up. He smiled and held out his hand. I took it and he pulled me out onto the floor. He put his arm around my waist and held me close. I smiled and took his other hand. He gracefully glided around the room with me. My dad was smiling at me. People were talking about us. Some of them good, some of them not so much. Most of the bad was coming from jealous Slytherin girls. Pansy's face was priceless! Draco lifted me up and swung me around before setting me back down. At the end of the song, he swung me out before taking me back and dipping me towards the floor. The entire hall clapped and I kissed Draco's cheek. He put his hand on my back and led me back to the table.

"Have you been practicing?" I asked.

He took my hand.

"I'll never tell."

I laughed and shook my head.

Draco's POV

About an hour later, Lily and I took a walk. I took my robes and put them over her shoulders so she wouldn't get cold.

"Thanks."

I smiled and we walked around the courtyard talking.

"Hey, look."

One of the carriages was rocking. I slowly smiled in amusement.

"Oh! Here comes dad." She said.

"This will be fun to watch."

Snape came running and threw open the carriage door.

"That's ten points from Hufflepuff and from Ravenclaw."

Lily giggled and Snape kept going. It was fun to see who he caught. Lily and I were trying our best not to laugh.

"I see you two."

We froze and then Lily walked out.

"Sorry daddy. It's really funny watching you bust people."

He smirked.

"Count yourself lucky I'm not busting you."

"I would never think of doing anything like that with your daughter, sir."

His eyes narrowed a bit.

"Good. Lily you were exquisite this night. Your mother would be very proud."

Lily smiled and hugged her father.

"Thank you, daddy. That means a lot to me."

He hugged her with a small smile.

"And you, Mr. Malfoy."

I looked at him.

"Thank you for treating my daughter like a lady."

Lily smiled at me.

"Of course, sir."

"Run along now. I still have things to do here."

He suddenly took off running and busted yet another couple. Lily and I laughed before I led her back inside.

Tori's P.O.V.
"A Cat. You want us to find and capture a cat." I asked, well more like stated. 

"Mhm" was the only answer I received as we all walked out of the Hokage building. The three of us had just finished training and were now doing a mission (*cough*chores*cough*) for the day.

Hebi-Sensei had lead us to where the old lady had said was the last place she had seen the demon of a cat.

"So, How do you suggest we do this Sensei?,"  Kiken started, " I mean there are a lot of cats in the Village." as he spoke we all looked at one another before looking up at our sensei for an answer.

"Well, that's for you to figure out yourselves not for me to tell you."He stated with an almost wicked smile before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

"Since, Sensei is useless and won't give us at least a hint we should start looking." Hikari sighed as he walked into an ally. I looked over at Kiken with Trix safely in my arms before I followed.

We had spent 4 hours looking for this damned cat and I was ready to kill the demon myself.

"There it is!!!" Kiken whispered in excitement pointing it out. Hikari, Trix and I followed his line of site before crouching down so it wouldn't see us.

"Now, we found it," I started looking at the cat before I looked at the others, "but, How do we catch it without a net?"

"Easy, Like this!" Kiken yelled before lunging on the cat. He caught the thing but now its scratching him to peaces. 'That's gotta hurt.' I thought.

After, returning the demon to its owner and receiving our reward, we all went our separate ways to go home.

The walk home was quiet and I couldn't shake the feeling of someone watching me. I finally stopped in front of my house and looked around, before I closed my eyes and listened. Something was coming at me, I dropped Trix from my arms, who Immediately went into a defensive position, and went to grab a  Kunai but I was to late and my attacker threw Trix and I against front of my house. 

I went to move but whoever attacked me held me by my throat in the air. I tried to get a good look at my attacker but they wore a mask that covered everything but their eyes. I could feel the air leaving my lungs and as my eyes started to droop I could hear him mumble a 'You'll do just fine'. My attacker was soon thrown off of me and I could finally get some air in my lungs, I coughed a few times before looking up to see my attacker knocked out on the ground.

My savior, or as I would call him on a daily bases  'Dad' had the most scariest murderess look I had ever seen on his face. I staggered to my feet before and in seconds both Trix and my Dad were at my side.

"Are you ok little bird?" was the first thing I heard my dad say as he looked me over for and additional wounds other than the one on my neck. 

Before I could even think of  answering, dad picked my up in one arm before throwing my attacker over his shoulder and Trix jumped on my head before we disappeared in a cloud of smoke in front of TI. Waiting for us was a Med-Ninja, Uncle Ibiki and my dads Ninken Pakkun.

Uncle Ibiki came forward to grab the attacker off of my dads shoulder, Pakkun left and the Med-Ninja  started to give me a check up.

After my check up she told my dad that I could still go on missions but I shouldn't speak for at the very least three weeks. When the nurse and my dad were done talking he took me and Trix home, who hasn't left my arms or stopped licking my neck sense we arrived at TI.

That night I slept with my dad so he could scare the nightmares away like he always did when I had them.

Ad-Din walked to the dustbin and dropped the paper bag containing the milk box and sandwich wrappers into it.

 He turned to go and saw Calia grinning at him. Ad-Din ignored her and walked forward but Calia held his hand stopping him and said.

'I see that you are already making progress, huh? Cus. I always knew you were a man who wasn't afraid to go for what he wanted. But still, she is a woman. 
If you are too aggressive in your pursuit, she might hate you. Why don't you take things slow and look at it from her view? She is older than you and she is your teacher. 
Anything you do will affect her career. I understand is your first love and all that but, I thought you should know about women a little bit. Miss Lee didn't look happy just now'. Calia said and patted Ad-Din's shoulder before going away.

Ad-Din looked at Calia and sighed. He really acted rashly just now. Even he didn't know what was wrong with him. Ad-Din looked at the discarded paper bag before walking away.

Maria walked out of the teachers' female washroom and saw Calia standing at a distance. Calia saw Maria and smiled as she spoke.
'Miss Lee, good morning. I saw you going inside and decided to wait and say hi to you'. Calia said.
'Oh, good morning. How are you doing Calia?' Maria asked and walked slowly with Calia beside her.

'I am fine. But, you don't seem to be in a good mood. Did something happen to you?' Calia asked watching Maria's reaction.

'Not much. I just had an encounter with an arrogant person is all. But, I am doing well'. Maria responded.

'Oh, an arrogant person? Whoever he is, he needs a good whacking to know his limits. Miss Lee, if he ever comes at you again, just call me. I have a black belt in taekwondo'. Calia said.

'Oh, I see. I should also go for some lessons in taekwondo too. My body is petite which makes people think I am still a teenager'. Maria said and they both laughed.

'Miss Lee, I will go to class first. You have second period with us. I will see you then'. Calia said and waved at Maria before running along. 
Maria smiled and walked away to the staff room.


Karen blocked Calia's way at the door to the classroom.
'What is this? What kind of situation is this?' Calia asked with an amused expression.

'What were you discussing with the new teacher?' Karen asked. She had seen Calia trying to get close to Miss Lee and had a feeling that Calia was doing that to spite her.

'I didn't know I was supposed to report to you about whom I spoke to now?'. Calia said.

'You are trying so hard to get into her good books. As a classmate may I need to remind you that students and teachers must not have any ambiguous relationship?' Karen crossed her arms around her chest as she said.

'Oh, really? But, did you know? The one who is the most ambiguous is you, Karen?' Calia smiled.

'What?' Karen said.
'Your every action is filled with ambiguity. Didn't you know? Well, I guess only the ones standing outside court knows how best the players are really playing. Stop blocking my way before I push you away'. Calia said and Karen quickly moved aside making way for Calia but still Calia knocked her shoulder against Karen's as she walked away. Karen turned and looked at Calia and scoffed. 

It was soon second lesson time and Maria walked into the classroom. The students as usual became quiet and watched Maria.

'How is everyone doing?' Maria asked as she opened her book.
'We are doing well thanks to you, Miss Lee'. The students responded and Maria smiled.

'Okay, we are going to continue from where we left off yesterday. I marked your answers and I was happy with your response. You people are doing so well and I am happy for that. Now, let's remind ourselves of what we did yesterday. Who will do us the honour of telling us please?' Maria said.

She felt an intense gaze on her but ignored it. She knew Ad-Din, that boy was looking at her but she was not going to allow him to treat her like his colleague. Maria felt disrespected by him.

'Miss Lee, can I ask you a question?' Globus said raising her hand up.

'Yes, Globus. What do you want to know?' Maria asked and looked at him.

'Miss Lee, in SVA, when you were teaching us last time you said that the subjects and verb must agree in number. My question is what about the words between them?'.

'Mm, do you also remember that I said even though they must agree, the words in between them do not affect the agreement in anyway? You see, when dealing with SVA, we should realise that though the words make up the sentence, they don't have any serious effect in the agreement between the subject and the verb'. Maria told the class.

'Thank you, Miss Lee'. 
'You are welcome, Globus. Is there any question again? If there is none then let's continue from where we left off'.

The bell goes off.
The class ended smoothly and Maria realised the students had warmed up to her now. They participated well and made her time in the class less stressful. Maria was grateful. She packed her books and got down from the podium to go out. Karen walked to her and spoke.

'Miss Lee, let me help you with that'. She said startling Maria.

'Oh, no need. The bell has gone off. You should hurry off for lunch and prepare for the next lesson'. Maria politely declined. 

Karen's face stiffened as she felt the eyes on her. Though no one opened their mouths to say anything, her classmates knew she wasn't one to do things for free or even bother to warm up to teachers. All actions looked quite suspicious to everyone. 

The silence of the class as they saw how Karen was declined produced an awkward atmosphere. Maria didn't understand the situation nor did she ever dare to find out. To her, high school was the scariest place in a person's life. After declining Karen, Maria didn't waste any more time and immediately left the class.

After Maria left, Karen turned and glared at her colleagues and they soon looked away with some even leaving the class that minute. Her gaze landed on Calia who was sitting two desks away from hers and she saw the smug look on Calia's face. It was almost like Calia was showing off in front of her.

Ad-Din closed his books and stood up to go out. Karen held his hand when he got to her desk and turned to face him with a smile.

'Ad-Din, my mom brought some Chinese dates from her travel. They are especially sweet and rare so I saved some for you. Should we find a place to eat them together?' Karen said and turned to look at Calia.

She could never guess the relationship between Ad-Din and Calia. She had always treated Calia as a rival and threat because no matter how cold Ad-Din was, everyone in class knew he treated Calia differently so they even thought he had feelings for him. Karen also thought that way hence her behaviour towards Calia.

Ad-Din looked at the hand that held unto his sleeve and frowned. His frown was so apparent that Karen had to let go.

'I don't like sweet things. You can eat them alone'. Ad-Din said and walked out. Karen stiffened and felt embarrassed. Ad-Din had flatly rejected her in front of everybody.

Maria Portia Lee graduated at the top of her class in the University at the age of 22 years.
She landed her first job as a teacher at a prestigious senior high school in their town.
On her first day, she found herself falling for a final year student boy. Been a novice at love, coupled with family problems she decides to ignore the feelings that only grew stronger by the day.

Crazy quarrels and a battle of words ensued, obviously in a fierce power struggle.
That's right, the thirteen elders might be hidden in the darkness, but they held huge resources and power beyond the law of the Milky Way Alliance. Anyone in power would be numb after a while. That was why they wanted the Power of the Oracle so that they could do whatever they wanted and live forever, becoming God-like existences!
With the current technology, humans could only extend their lives to about a century. However, it was useless to them because it wouldn't help their fragile bodies, it wasn't what they wanted.
This wasn't a legend. They knew everything was real as the Elders of the Saint Sect.
The previous generations of Elders were not as fortunate, They died before they saw the arrival of the Oracle. The positions of the Elders were inherited, that was why they witnessed the deaths of the previous generations of Elders and had also inherited their angst.
But now, the Oracle had appeared. Everyone seemed to be calm, but their hearts were going crazy with joy. They could abandon everything for this power!
The problem was that no one knew what the Oracle was. Neither did they know what form it would present itself in. It was only recorded in the sacred books that the Oracle would appear on the successors, giving rise to the candidates of the Son of Saint. They had each chosen their Son of Saint. The right Son of Saint would grant the sponsoring Elder the first right of decision. That was a rule to prevent internal disputes between the Elders.
Nothing was more important than the Oracle.
The arguments got more heated along with the discussions. 
Each Elder was secretly supporting one or many Son of Saint candidates. They used different methods. Some of them were their direct descendants, some of them binded them emotionally, some of them were even fully controlled.
The Elders themselves were aware that the Saint was too huge, which was why there were thirteen of them to balance the power.
Of course, struggle within a reasonable range would always be an effective way of maintaining vitality.
The Great Elder had been silent. The Oracle had appeared with an A-rank Ability X. He also possessed a prophetic Ability X. The Saint had put much effort in to train this person and succeeded. However, even he had died. Of course, that didn't mean his life was wasted. It was only a pity that he had only managed to get so far without more information. 
The rest of the Elders quietened down seeing the Great Elder keeping his silence. They were all powerful in their own right, but no one dared to openly defy the Great Elder in the Saint. He'd inherited the most mysterious and strongest power.
The Great Elder hadn't sponsored any candidates till date. That was strange. Of course, it could be because the first choice would be the Great Elder, no matter which candidate had the Oracle.
Dong, dong, dong…
The Great Elder hit the table with his staff. "Are you done with your triflings?"
"Great Elder, the Oracle has appeared, we cannot just sit here and wait. What if…"
"Actually, the Prophet didn't finish his sentence," the Great Elder said solemnly. 
Chatter started amongst the other twelve in the instant. Concern usually confused people no matter what position they were in.
"Great Elder, do you mean there is more information?" the third Elder said seriously. He actually wanted to ask why the Great Elder hadn't divulge that earlier. Was he intentionally hiding it from everyone? Of course, he didn't dare to say that out loud.
The Great Elder peered at the surrounding elders with a small smile. "The Prophet died begrudgingly. That was why he only predicted so much. The dead can't be resurrected, but I believe that the last thoughts of a person before he died don't disappear immediately. We can find them out with the current technology, but it will take a bit of time. Let's see them together."
Everyone's spirits were uplifted.
They opened their Skylinks and saw images of the experiment base from the Saint. The Saint viewed control of technology and talents to be of importance. They didn't have to care about interference from the Milky Way Alliance regarding the methods they had chosen, which added to its effectiveness. That was why the Saint was a better place to many researchers than the Milky Way Alliance.
The final prophecy was on display on the screen of the laboratory: the Oracle had descended. That was the incredible power of human cultivation. The power had always been shrouded with a mysterious fog and would only appear when there was ample opportunity. The winner would be glorious.
The hearts of the Elders thumped away. That was the power of an A-rank Prophet. What a pity. He could have been able to clear the mysterious fog away if he were at the Heaven rank. It was too late though, the prophecy had a certain value.
"Great Elder, you are our leader. I believe you have a way already. Same as always, you give us the rundown and we vote," the Ninth Elder said.
"There is a natural cycle to life. If the Oracle Star is here, that means the Saint can be exposed or hidden. It doesn't matter anymore. Our ancestors and us have been waiting for this day here. That's why we can do everything to find the Oracle."
The Great Elder's voice was calm but filled with rigor. They might not know his age, but he was definitely more than a hundred years old. However, none of the twelve there were able to feel any breath of life from him. That was the scariest part. The one who would obtain the most benefits when the ancient forces recovered would definitely be the Great Elder. That was because it was impossible for the rest of their powers to compare with his power.
At this very moment, however, the Oracle conquered everyone. Their eyes were filled with craze and excitement. Nothing else in the world could excite them any longer. The oracle was their life goal.
"Thirteen, you'll be in charge of this," the Great Elder suddenly said.
The Thirteenth Elder stood up and nodded slightly. He had not said much throughout. "Most of the candidates for the Son of Saint have arrived."
"Thirteen, what do you mean? Why didn't you convey such an important message sooner? Some of them have special identities…" the third Elder said angrily.
"Third, be calm. The Great Elder said that the Oracle has appeared. Why do you care about their identities now?" the Second Elder said. 
"Great Elder, you must have some sort of plan in mind. Please let us in on it."


He received a genetic score of 28... completely disqualifying him from applying to military college!

TL;DR: Not Shakespeare, not complex, but fun and easy to read. Come support! 
As the translator, I've enjoyed translating this novel and I hope to bring the essence of what the author has tried to portray into the chapters you will read.
To sum it up in 3 words: Mechs! Explosions! Science!
To be perfectly honest, this novel is about your typically overpowered protagonist who does get looked down from time to time but always overcomes the odds with his own special power. He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense.
Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this.
The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is.
It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.
