Join the protagonist as he marvels the world of magic and as he faces the modern technology above the current era.

A few days had passed since they had emerged from the other world. They had spent that time recuperating and relaxing. Kace felt entirely relaxed right now as he chewed on a piece of cold meat. 'It's been some time since I last gained anything from eating.' Kace's eyebrows knitted together as he thought about it. 
'Either it's chances to activate diminish with each successful usage, or it's somehow indirectly connected to my level.' He studied its description again as he mulled it over. Unfortunately, the skill did not have anything in its description that would shed some light on it. Then his eyes ran across the information held in his Digestion skill. 
He focused on the part that said 'slight chance'. The only thing he could think of right now was that his luck stat had been enough compared to the level of what he had been eating to trigger the effect more often. However, as he gained more levels, his luck stat was quickly being left behind. Making it far inferior compared to the others.
'There's nothing I can do about it, not without finding a way to increase it.' Kace sighed heavily, feeling vexed about the situation. He was sure that it would still trigger, just nowhere near as often as it had. It had been a valuable skill in his early days to quickly increase his power. However, right now, he could not rely on for a quick power boost.
'My level is also falling behind, Phillip and Sarah had both reached level fifteen. I could only bridge the gap with my skills and the permanent power boost from Half-Life.' His mind wandered to his fight with Sonja in the arena. If he had not used Half-Life then, he would have been completely overwhelmed by now.
'Mind you, my evolution also helped.' His mind went silent as he tried to no longer dwell on what might have happened. During their time here, the others were helping in different ways to set up a defensive area. A fortress was quickly taking shape with thanks to Grugda's aid during its construction. It would have gone even faster if Yul had felt inclined to help.
However, Yul spent his time like an unmoving mountain. Staring motionlessly at the container he had created for Phillip's remains. The hero had yet to revive, and everyone could feel that Yul's frustration was growing by the day. Personally, Kace hoped that they could leave before Yul's temper exploded.
'We should be thankful to the heroes. Without them subduing Yul we would never have gained his support as an ally.' Kace smiled as he thought about any poor heroes that may open the gate on this island to invade this world. They would be faced with a stationed, diverse army in a fortress. Two airships and Yul. It was needless to say, but their odds of success looked bleak.
Their only chance would be if someone on Zornok's level were to accompany them. Kace quickly shrugged off this possibility. If they could afford to do that, then they would have used them already. It was highly likely he was only dispatched to quickly wipe out the vampires. Yet for some reason, they waited until he was present to do it.
He doubted they knew about his presence in that world. The army the heroes unleashed was overkill just for him. 'So, something else must have changed while I was there to trigger it.' He did not know whether he should be glad that he did not warrant the attention of someone on that powerful level yet. 
Since that would mean that he was just an ant in the eyes of the higher levelled heroes. This put him in a sour mood. If he was just an ant, that just confirmed that he still had a long way to go. There was nothing that he could do just now. After he returned to Stonefall, he would just join the ongoing war. He could wrack up a lot of experience in that way and increase his level.
Until they found some information on another gate or pillar, there really would not be anything worth his time. 'At least in the morning, we can finally set off.' Kace smiled at the thought of his homecoming. Who knew, maybe he could find something valuable to himself in Stonefall now. He had heard about the changes that had been happening, and he was eager to see them with his own eyes.
Although the world had seemed to still be in a medieval era, apparently the capital that had been seized was full of marvels. It was as if the country had been in the early stages of starting an industrial era. Using magic to fuel new inventions. However, Kace thought that it was highly likely that other countries were most likely even more advanced.
Stepping foot into those places would be suicidal for their forces until they had a larger stock of war weapons. Kace thought about the airships that had been created by drawings left behind by Gyn. 'I can't believe that mad bastard thought about something like that.' He chuckled as he thought about the goblin. His mind was filled with warm memories.
"Hm? You're still awake?" Vaskra did not hide the disappointed look on her face as she peeked into the small room that had been created for Kace.
"You think I'll go to sleep before you?" Kace retorted as he raised an eyebrow at the small figure in her chair.
Kace had been cautious about when he went to sleep since his return. He did not want to have to go through the events of kicking her naked body from his bed again. However, he probably did not have to worry as much as he was. Most times, she tried to sneak in his direction Sophia would turn up to intercept Vaskra before she could even check in on him.
'She must have waited until Sophia was busy. Otherwise, she would never have made it within twenty feet of this place.' He stared at her carefully since she had not bothered to leave. Kace had a feeling that she had something to say to him.
"Well? What is it?" Kace asked, growing annoyed at her prolonged silence.
"I just want to know something," Vaskra began, as she moved her eyes downwards to stare at her blanket. "Now that you're a goblin lord with your own followers. Will you pledge yourself to our King?"
Kace immediately became speechless. His jaw dropped as he stared at her figure…

His perfect life seemed to be within his grasp and the excitement was unbearable. Though a random thought and a bored 'godess' quickly derailed these dreams of his.

Building a new life in another world could never be easy. Especially when it begins with a mad goblin shaman and a murderous orc hanging around. Sigh. 

Join Kace on his journey of evolution. As a hero for monsters his only goal is to gather a team of powerful allies like himself. To end the invasion of the evil human race.

From humble beginnings in caverns on a mountain, to forcefully taking a town for the monsters to call home. From heading out to sea to discovering dark secrets hidden from prying eyes in absolute darkness.

He's in a race against time, seeking to uncover the truths of this new world before it's too late to save it.

Lady Grace holds up her hand over her shoulder, signaling Blue Company squad to alertness.  The section of forest they had entered had become increasingly overgrown and strands of webbing hinted at nearby danger.  Looking at her recruits, she mutters "Something is here" as a large, black mass drops onto her from the forest canopy and bites into her shoulder.
Following their training, Nalda speaks the incantation "טיל הקסם" and a bolt of energy shoots from her hand, eldritch power striking the giant spider hanging off of Lady Grace.  Unfazed, it remains wrapped around her shoulder and back.  Two other spiders had fallen to the ground, and now turn their attention to the group trailing behind their leader.  Overgrown to the size of a medium dog, a menacing red hourglass shape adorns each spider's abdomen.  Green venom drips from their fangs as they quiver, preparing to bite.
Beler and Damin move forward, each squaring off against one of the spiders.  In one smooth motion, Gevot draws and fires an arrow which sails past the creatures and disappears into the surrounding darkness of the forest.
Reaching their position in front of the monsters, Damin attempts to raise her shield as her opponent lunges.  Evading the shield's protection, the spider's fangs sink deep into her forearm.   With a cry, she is dragged to the ground.
"They're so strong!" Beler marvels, swinging her enormous sword at her opponent.  The spider tries to dodge, but one of its legs gets hacked off by the attack.  Venom sprays from its fangs as it silently bites at the fighter in pain.
The cleric Damin, on the ground, swings at the spider that had attacked her.  Miscalculating her attack, her mace glances off the spider, doing no damage.
Finally getting her longsword free of its sheath, Lady Grace tries to dislodge the monstrosity on her back but ends up losing her grip on the sword and it falls into the underbrush.
"Finish off Beler's injured opponent first" Lady Grace shouts, reminding them of the basic tactics training they have recently completed.  Moving towards where her sword had fallen, the creature on her back bites into her once again, and she falls under the sustained attack.
Gevot drops his bow and draws his short sword as he joins Beler. He swings at her opponent and drives it backwards as it dodges his clumsy attack.  He gives a curse he'd heard when they were recently in the city of Hope and shook his head to dislodge the sweat that now covers his brow.
Damin swings once more with her mace, attempting a side attack on the giant spider.  It barely connects and seems to make the creature angry more than injure it.  As the spider that finished Lady Grace moves toward Nalda, Yenser intercepts it and narrowly misses with a swing of her sword.  Nalda draws her dagger, and backs away.
The fight drags on, with the Blue Company squad finally killing one of the three monsters.  In spite of its death, the heroes fall one by one until silence descends once more on the forest and the giant spiders begin to feed.

Sunday mornings mean getting together to play the original fantasy role-playing game for a group of university professors and their spouses.

The flames only grew.

Dakila was gone.

Mayumi had no chance of surviving the forest.

Better we die together, than lengthen the excruciating inevitability.

Then a lance of clarity pierced through the burning, the singing flames, the choking smoke.

Look up, Mayumi.

The voice beckoned, and so, Mayumi looked up.

The phantasm of her mother stood before her, her form swathed in flames, as if clothed by it. Light emanated from her eyes like two suns.

"Quickly, my child," she said. "We haven't the time. My materialization is limited."

Mayumi blinked away tears from her eyes. "Ina…?"

"Yes, my child," her mother spoke, and in that moment all the orange and crimson of the flames mixed into the red tenderness of her heart. She let go of Dakila and reached up to her, tears wetting her cheeks even more. She reached up for her mother like a toddler.

Her mother embraced her, giving her the pleasure of contact with what was once lost… until her mother abruptly broke away, reminding her of her cold loneliness.

"Mayumi." Her mother's voice quivered. A phantasm on the edge of crying. "I'm so proud of you, and I am always looking at you. Bathala has given me the means to always keep watch of you. Always remember that. Your Ina is always watching you."

She sobbed. "Y-yes Ina. Yes."

"But now, you must manifest that strength hidden inside you. Bring your engkanto friend out of this conflagration, and into safety. All you need is to follow me."

Mayumi swallowed. "I-I'm not… I'm not strong enough, Ina."

"You are. You hold within you the blood of Heroes, Mayumi."

She blinked. "I don't… I don't understand…"

"All things will be revealed in the city of the Two Datus. Look for your Father. He is still alive. Look for your father. But first, reach for that strength within you, Mayumi. Reach for it and live."

Mayumi opened her mouth to protest. To cry out that she didn't understand. To whine that she didn't want to go alone. That Dakila wasn't even going to stay long. That she wasn't strong enough for any of this. That the fire should just consume her and she could join them.

But the words of her mouth ignited that numbed pyre in her heart. Something shone. Her eyes glimmered with the slightest burn of gold.

"Grab your power and burn brightly, my daughter. Follow me. I shall lead you out of here."

Mayumi, with a newly steeled resolve that surprised even her, nodded. She hauled Dakila on both hands, and rose to her feet. Pain throbbed about her, and the weight of Dakila strained her, but golden spiritual power surged through her very being, bolstering her tenacity. With a defiant scream, she followed the anito that was her mother, and plunged through the fire.



The flames lapped at her heels, begging for Mayumi to come back. Before her was the almost silent serenity of the forest, completely untouched by the blaze. The second she took a step on the damp ground of the forest outside of the burning clearing, thunder crackled, and rain exploded in a torrential downpour.

Mayumi looked up, still carrying the engkanto in her bolstered arms. In the tiny moments that the clouds would part, she saw the blue eyes of the gods.



Mayumi eventually arrived beside a small creek. Her mother waited for her, her eyes still burning, watching her every move. With an exhausted gasp, she let go of Dakila, who rolled over to the side of the creek, and collapsed to her knees. Her ragged breathing filled the silence of the clearing, intermingling with the lapping of the creek.

"You've done well, Mayumi." Mayumi looked up. The golden sheen and glow that radiated from her veins and eyes faded away, dissipating into naught but smoke.

She watched the anito kneel before her and pull her into another hug. The rush of adrenaline and power still coursed through Mayumi, never-ending, and she embraced her mother right back. "Please come back."

Silence filled the forest. And then, "I'm always here."

Mayumi only noticed that her mother was gone when she stopped crying.



A throng of small, monkey-like diwata attended to Dakila as Mayumi wept, who leaned against a large tree root that bulged out of the ground.

The diwata had pushed Dakila into the small creek and bathed him in the lightly rushing waters. Mayumi was, to say the least, surprised when she saw that the sword wound that Dakila had sustained quickly mended whole,, as if a broken tapestry fixed in a matter of seconds. Before long, the diwata pulled the tamawo out of the stream, and moved him next to Mayumi on the root.

Then, all at the same time, they stared at her. Those hollow, yet seemingly alive eyes, swallowing the whole of her being. Mayumi steeled in her heart to ask her a question, but it seemed as if they had heard the pleas of her heart, and had decided that it was not time yet for answers, for they all vanished, dissipating back into the spirit..

Mayumi inhaled. She looked up at the clouded skies and deduced that it couldn't have been any closer to the night. Maybe an hour or two had passed. She looked back at the tamawo, and found that he wasn't breathing.

But the tamawo opened its eyes, staring glassy-eyed at the canopy of the forest. They don't need to breathe…?

"You are one of them."

Mayumi blinked. She saw that the veins of her palms still glowed with that golden glow, but it was much dimmer than before. As if it were a residue of a much more glorious light.

"What…?"

Dakila breathed. Mayumi tensed and readied herself to catch Dakila as he moved his hands -- winced -- and then his legs, pushing himself upright. With a final pained grunt, he sat himself against the root.

"I will be fine," said the tamawo.

"Do you need any herbs or more of that creek water?"

Dakila shook his head. Despite the ragged combat of earlier, his face was still immaculately perfect. "I only need time. Let me rest."

"Oh. Okay. All right. Rest."

Dakila nodded, and he inhaled once again. Another silence filled the area. The cackling of fires had died down, replaced by the gentle, rapturous pit-pat of rain.

"I think a god brought down the rains to quench the flames of the forest."

"No doubt it was Ribung Linti. You've seen an Apo with your own mortal eyes, Mayumi. A Higher God. A diwata from the Skyworld."

Mayumi blinked. She stared at Dakila for a moment. Then she closed her eyes and whispered a small prayer of thanks to the Apo.

"A more important fact is:" said Dakila, "you are gleaming with the glow of the sun."

Mayumi furrowed her eyebrows. "I… I am?" She stared at those glowing veins once again.

Dakila nodded. "Yes. It seems the legends were true."

Mayumi blinked. "What?"

Dakila wasn't looking at her as he spoke. "I know not much about them either, for the last of their kind was centuries ago, but my ancestors fought with powerful Heroes in the Final Wars of Sunder."

"Final… Wars of Sunder? What are you-"

"I shall tell the tale. As much as I know. But I must rest first."

"Then rest you shall."

Dakila nodded. "We should be safe here. The diwata watch you. They are interested as well. No doubt they have not seen someone like you for a few centuries as well."

Mayumi tilted her head to the side, curious to a fault about the truth of Dakila's words. "I am confused by your words." Not that I ever expected not to be.

"Fear not," said Dakila. "I shall keep you safe for the time being, but I cannot keep you longer than I already have. Let us make haste to Pinagsama." The tamawo winced as he stood up.

"Don't. Not yet." Mayumi grabbed Dakila's shoulders and pushed him downward. "You are too tired. You have been gravely injured."

"I have been healed," he hesitated, "mortal."

"You have not. Healing requires time." Mayumi was surprised that even came out of her. With gentle repose, she moved Dakila down once again. The dappling of rain accompanied the transition from adrenaline-filled survival to a quiet respite.

"I…"

"You will rest," said Mayumi. "It is what you require. Even tamawo get tired, I assume."

Dakila quieted down. The thunder from the thunderstorm had quieted. Dakila's breathing stabilized.

Mayumi watched him for a few more moments.

Dakila looked at her with a sideways glance, and then looked away again.

"What are you so nervous for?"

Dakila did not move as he spoke. "Beings like you are known to possess magicks. Some stories speak of your superior affection and loveliness, capable of charming even the most stalwart of tamawo."

Mayumi blinked. Red rushed to her ears.

"What are you…?"

Dakila turned to her, and some form of weird, alien regret flashed across his face. His eyes widened, and he shook his head. "I-I mean that-- Um."

Mayumi swallowed and turned away. They were sitting at a hair's length from each other. Mayumi pulled her knees to her chest. The red blossomed from her ears to her cheeks.

Dakila inhaled. "You are one of the people that have inherited legendary power," said Dakila. He was not looking at her. "I do not know much, but it can be found in the Aklatan in Biringan, and it has been taught to us by the Tamawo Parawali. Are you willing to listen?"

Dakila looked to his side, only to see a flustered Mayumi covering her ears. Her veins and eyes still glowed with gold.

She nodded at him, biting her lips. "I-I can hear you…" Her voice shook.

Dakila sighed. "Very well."

And the tamawo launched into a story:

"In the Time of Heroes, an age aeons before this Time of Malice, there were powerful Heroes born with the promise of greatness, and the virtue of excellence. They were forged in the crucible of creation, tempered by war, refined by peace. They were weapons used to beat back the forces of darkness as well as try to cull the madness of tyranny, of the Mad Sky."

Mayumi blinked at that, but she did not say anything.

"Now these Heroes, when they liberated the human race from the dark dangers of the world before theirs, created vast, world-spanning empires, and achieved technological marvels and feats that minds nowadays cannot even begin to fathom.

"And that all ended with the Final Wars of Sunder. The war that sundered the sphere of nature and spirit.

"These Heroes fought against the engkant. But it had not always been that easy to summarize. Anyway, this war was of such casualty that the society of spirit removed itself from the world, and hence why you cannot see the spirit kingdoms with your naked eye."

"I don't understand how that explains anything about me."

Dakila inhaled. "These Heroes carried with them the promise of salvation and power. They commanded the earth, shone like the sun, clever like the moon, and fickle like the stars. They were paragons of humanity, heroes that led and were worthy of song."

Mayumi was quiet.

"When the war ended, every single one of these Heroes died. It was the greatest casualty. So much so that it ended in a great cataclysm -- a mix of storm and deluge. The Thousand Tears and Lightnings Cataclysm, which the Apo have said come from the mighty tears and the enraged lightning bolts of the the Lords of Sky.

"And so, the engkanto never thought we'd ever see the likes of those Heroes ever again. But it seems we are mistaken." Dakila turned to look at Mayumi. "It has long been said that these Heroes will vanish when they are not needed. As with a sword sheathed, or a hammer buried into the ground. But when the time comes, the sword will be drawn. The Heroes will Awaken once again, to protect the world. I am not sure how. The power of the Heroes are said to have been sealed in the blood that flows through humanity, or in the legendary deeds that the engkanto are capable of. This is the Inheritance."

Mayumi found that her face wasn't red anymore. She was listening intently to every word that sprouted out of Dakila's mouth.

"What I am puzzled about is this: there doesn't seem to be any threats lingering around. What is the use of the Inheritance? If this is the world that they return to, I can only think of two possible outcomes: that either they will resurrect this dying world back to its former glory…

"Or end it once and for all."

Naruto and his new team mates discussed about their target Karl Mordo also know as Baron Mordo, who was one of the biggest enemies of Dr. Strange while the man himself was discussing things with his team.
Gathered in the Dark Dimension were six beings gathered under Dormammu for a promise of power and destruction.
Karl Mordo, the loyal servant that had been working for the titan for a decade and has been trying to free his master for the promise of power. He wasn't a stupid man that got blinded by the power tasted once as every time he did something useful his master gave him more.
Dormammu was a being of great power and knowledge that Mordo had given up humanity for this being.
The only thing in his way of getting ultimate power was Stephen Strange and the Ancient one.
He sat at the head of the table with the other members that had all signed the contract with Dormammu that they will not be harmed once the operation was a success.
Amora, the beautiful enchantress from Asgard had joined the group as she had found her activities were becoming too difficult and especially by the fact that they will target the League of Shadows. Her arm still ached from phantom pain at the thought of Obito.
Loki the mischievous devil had decided to join in on the fun as his brother Thor was now surrounded by his own group of friends so he needed support to take him down a peg and punish his Father with the help of Dormammu.
The Enchantress, an evil entity from the old ages that had taken over a human vessel and commanded dark magic, also joined the cause as she believed in the power of beings like Dormammu and would do anything to summon them to the realm of humans.
She was in the body of a woman named June Moone who had been a simple archaeologist that had an accident with an ancient artifact.
Klarion the witch boy from another dimension who loved chaos and mischief so was willing to help Dormammu. He was one of Dr. Fate's regular foes and commanded mastery over dark magic.
Finally there was Black Adam, the chosen one of the Egyptian Immortals and the former Shazam. He was the nemesis of the hero called Shazam and wanted his destruction more than anything as the wizard Shazam had destroyed his life because of a misunderstanding in the old ages.
He was a hero turned villain through a grudge held for thousands of years for the injustice and if the wizard Shazam was not dead then his anger will never go down.
"Has everyone understood the plan?" Mordo asked as he looked at them, he was powerful but he was really cautious about all of them
This was an A class team with every member being a very powerful existence.
The plan was to help Dormammu break the barrier stopping his entry and for that they needed sacrifices along with the key.
The sacrifices would empower Dormammu and weaken the barrier while the key was needed so that the master wasn't hurt by going through forcefully since the danger of the sorcerer supreme and Dr. Fate was too much to handle with a damaged body.
"I don't see the problem with sacrificing people but normal people are quite worthless." Black Adam replied as he looked at the man with a calm look
He didn't think of Mordo as his boss but just a temporary leader and a figurehead of the true leader of this group.
"I think our friend is right, mortals are truly not a good source of power." Loki said as he smiled at Adam and agreed with him as he found humans quote unworthy and pathetic
"You said we will handle the League of Shadows so why not use them as sacrifices." Amora commented with a seductive gesture as her servant stood behind her missing his axe
"The heroes are also troublesome so how about we take them all out. I think it will be fun." Klarion chuckled as he thought of playing with the heroes and hugged his kitty
"Your idea isn't bad Klarion but going to individual heroes would only cause more trouble for all of us. We can target those that stay in groups and my master has found two large groups of magical energy that can be used as sacrifices." Mordo explained as Dormammu had been provided this information from Trigon whose sons had spent some time on earth and fought against the heroes
They had located two places filled with magical energy so Trigon shared this knowledge for the promise of a chance to enter the universe as he had been disallowed by higher power.
"Tell me the place where I can find the league since sacrificing weaklings can be done by you lot." Black Adam said as he waited for an answer
"Target the XMen and you will bring out the Master of Shadows himself. But are you sure about this, the man is very powerful that not even the heroes would fair will against him?"
"That is my concern and I will decide whether he is good enough or not."
"I would like the location of one of those magical places." Loki raised his hand and asked
"It's an African tribe in this location and you can find fledgling witches but the leader is quite a powerful witch."
"Great, I can have some fun then. Do you want to come along Amora?"
"No, I will follow Adam since I want to meet one of the members of the league."
"That special eye guy, is he that interesting?"
"Keep your paws to yourself, he is mine."
"If I didn't know any better, I would think you were in love."
"I will count to three and I want you gone."
"Haha, you are in love Amora." Loki joked as he disappeared from the dark dimension
"There is only one other place left so are we all going there?" Enchantress asked as her voice grated on their ears
It was the kind of voice that would cause insanity in normal people.
"I will stay here until the final moment for the fight against the Doctor while you can go to the other place near the Amazon and Klarion can go hunt down the heroes."
"Going alone won't be fun so won't you come with me Amora? Adam can find the information from the Leader and give it you." Klarion said as he found the task truly overwhelming as powerful heroes were not a good show alone
"You can take the fodder provided by Mordo and have your fun. I have a grudge to take care of." Amora replied
"You can take my servants to support you in your mission. They are powerful magicians of the fifth circle numbering 50 and 2 of the 8th circle." Mordo nodded as he could see that Klarion alone might not be enough
Magicians of the first circle were the beginner class that could only use basic skills while 12th circle was the highest level where majority of the conceptual spells took place.
Each circle was formed through practice, meditation and knowledge of the magician inside their soul, which allowed them to use their spells and interact with the ambient magical energy in the world depending on their levels.
Weak magicians could only use the mana in their body, the second level could use the magic in nature, and the third level could tap into the magic energy of higher dimensions.
Doctor Strange and Fate both stood tapped into the magical energy of higher dimensions and the universe for their spells.
But even then not everyone was equal and skill decided along with spells decided a battle between magicians.

The dark magicians weren't the only one on the move as Mister Sinister had become very active as he had been obsessed by the power shown by Naruto and the Kryptonians.
He had already gotten the DNA of superman and even made some clones but wasn't happy with them so they were still unused.
He was scientist from the old ages and believed in the potential of humanity, which led to his decent into darkness and servitude to Apocalypse.
Sinister wanted to create the perfect mutant under his control to free him from his master and found two candidates for this job.
Cyclops and Jean or Naruto and Kara, once Kara came into the picture his choice became clear and he gave up on the mutant couple for the ultimate mutant of the current age and the female Kryptonian.
He wanted to see what kind of child they could produce. What kind of monster would be given birth from the union of these two powerful monsters?
Since the day Naruto fought against Magneto, Sinister had been keeping watch over him through the satellite following his energy signature that had been collected when the battle took place.
With Kara's appearance and Naruto actually appearing more, Sinister pushed things in a way that the two of them would meet and he had been successful till now.
Through his observation he could see that both of them found each other interesting and more meetings would definitely lead to relationship as both were single at the moment.
Naruto was a powerful mutant that respected power so it was hard to find a proper woman for him and that was why Jean had not been a good fit for him as he didn't consider at all.
Even Storm who had become extremely powerful that Sinister wouldn't dare face her directly was rejected by him along with Amara the mistress of lava.
His personality was clear to Sinister even if the boy denied it himself that he found powerful woman attractive instead of females weaker than him.
On the other hand Kara was a girl that was lost and found herself stranded a new world without her family. She barely trusted her cousin and lived away from him.
Her original city was filled with marvels of technology while the earth was a backward place so Naruto could lead her to his city and open her heart as he was good with people when he tried.
"Soon these two can get together and give me what I want." Sinister muttered as he watched the screen showing that both targets were on the move
Naruto was moving towards Chicago separated from his team members who went to different directions as they received information from the  league of shadows and magic guild about dark magicians causing massacres.
Seeing Naruto move, Sinister made sure Supergirl moved to that place through some manipulation and cause some tension between them through a challenging fight.
"Go and fight them my little pet." Sinister smiled as he released one of the clones he had made of Superman mixed with DNA of Cyclops

Though if there is one thing that could be considered her vices, it is this. She is accustomed to having things her way, and a disposition to be very prideful. 
Of course this danger of such behavior disappeared with the tragic event that happens to her.
She and her sister were from Vern or what is now called Northern Chu. Their father and mother were killed by bandits when she was seven while her sister was nine.
