Hello guys , today i am going to share some information about old captain aka steve rogers future in marvel movie before we begins i have some news for you this is my first volume where I published all the theories and news and my opinions but i have started thing of 2 new volume - 
1- what if [ it's a marvel series , which is not released yet but i will create some with chapters with my own idea and .. 
2- is origin series in which i will tell you origins of marvel characters both from comic and movie . But what if series first chapter will release after 15k view to whole this series and origins series first chapter will release after 20k views so , be ready and share my chapter to you friends . Steve rogers aka captain America which is old now not died in endgame according to me in future marvel movies he will mentor new superheros and new avengers for future problem and this is all i don't have anything more to say .

So I'm gonna go over the background of this earth because this isn't 616. I'm calling this Earth E999. E999 is almost identical to 616 other than in this universe Miles and Peter exist at the same time, The Avengers haven't assembled yet because there hasn't been a need, SHIELD has Doctor Doom and Marvels greatest villains in custody in their secret high security prison that I call The Chamber. SHIELD currently has Wolverine and Silver Surfer helping protect The Chamber. The three main villains in their custody: Doctor Doom, Thanos, and Galactus. Which probably leads to the question how did they get Galactus on earth. They didn't. The Chamber is bigger than earth it orbits E999's sun right behind Pluto. It is around twice the size of earth. Galactus was defeated by Scarlet Witch and The Fantastic Four and he was captured by Doctor Strange. But the best part of this universe is Deadpool. I wrote a little nod to him in issue #2 but he'll be a lot more prevalent in volume 2.
I also have found an illustrator. He is also the chief editor. Write now we'll just call him Captain JDM. He hasn't drawn anything yet and illustrations probably won't be available for another few months. He gave me the idea for the character bubble thing formatting change. He is my best friend and I trust him entirely to illustrate this. I have entrusted him with the creation of a new(ish) Spider-Man suit. That will be his creation and hopefully his master piece. 
Finally I wanna talk about issue 4. Four will be the most important issue to this story. I've decided to go with 20 issues in all for volume 1. Issue 4 will bring about the beginning of the end. Also the Living Tribunal will be possible you be apart of the next issue. Issue 5 is also almost on the horizon. 5 will cover the story of Deleterious and Miguel and give you viewers a better back story to Deleterious.

If anyone knows anyone at marvel can you ask them to read this. This is my gift to them. If they want they can publish it as their own comic, I just would like credit for creating it. No money or anything, just my name and my best friends name on the cover. And if they like it enough and want me to write for them I'll do it on one condition: I want them to pay for me to go to college, pay for my best friend to go to college, and pay for my little brothers to go to college. If they do that I'll write 3 more volumes of Spider-Man after volume 3. In total they'd get 6 volumes, 20 issues each. They'd also have to get my partner on board or I'm out. I can't write these without him so if he's not in I'm not in, unless my terms are met.

Plot: Spider-Man 2099 (white and red suit) is battling a villain called the Time Master A.K.A. Daniel Husk who is the host of a symbiote. Time Master stops time, moves Spider-Man into a trap, and rips his mask off. He tells the  Mask less Spider-Man that if Spider-Man doesn't stop chasing him he'll go back in time and kill his mother before he is ever born. Then he throws Spider-Man through one of his time portals created by his time grenade. Spider-Man lands in 2019 New York City. Spider-Man 2099 hits looks around and sees Spider-Man fighting the Sinister Six. 2099 leaps into battle and helps Spider-Man defeat the Goblin, the Rhino, and the Vulture. The other members escape and 2099 explains everything.
THIS IS ONLY VOLUME 1 ISSUE 1 (I'm not sure if volume is the correct title for it.) VOLUME 2 ISSUE 1 will be an entirely different story about Spider-Man. Any suggestions write a review of a comment.

-------- RELEASE SCHEDULE --------

This is the end of the second volume. I've maintained a decent writing pace this time around, so there won't be a break between volumes. New chapter next week, as usual.

Releasing more than once a week is sadly not an option right now, but I'm considering shortening chapters to release more frequently. Many readers apparently prefer shorter chapters, so I'll see if I can do that in the future. Will be glad to hear opinions about that.

For example, you saw Warlock use Eldritch Nightmare, but nothing else was revealed about its kit yet. Therefore, Warlock isn't on the wiki at the moment. It'll be added after you get a closer look at it in the story. Stay tuned for that in volume 3!

This volume ended with the first match of the scrimmage, but there are four more to go. Will StormBlitz keep on winning? All I can say: the road is still long. The next volume will focus almost entirely on the rest of the scrimmage.

Yuel went through quite the impressive sequence of promotions this volume. From a mere rookie to the vice-captain of the second string, and at the end he even became the shot-caller. Will he climb even higher!? Next time, on Classmancers! Stay tuned.

The game has become so big, that even schools recognize it as a sport. They even allow students to participate in Classmancers clubs and compete against other schools! Who will be the one going to nationals!?

There are also goofs like Lars, who got -200 IQ, yet boast godlike mechanical skill that triumphs against all odds. He’s like your typical OPMC which a cheat, except the cheat does nothing for his intellect.

Yuel and Lars are like water and fire. In other words, 100% compatible! That’s why they form an unlikely duo and set out to dominate Classmancers’ competitive scene!

However, to challenge their OPness, the two will run into rivals who are just as OP! Some of them will turn their teammates immune to Yuel’s psychological attacks, while others will redirect Lars’s almighty strength against himself.

In this harsh environment, the two will keep struggling, struggling, and struggling some more, following their promise to reach the pro scene.

In front of a waterfall stands a young man who looks 20 or 21 years old with his fist towards the sky
then he suddenly starts falling and it's like he going to fall on his back a sec before he hits the ground soft vines burst from the ground and receives him and form something like a bed and makes a protective layer around him.

' I open my eyes don't how long passed after I fainted and find my self surrounded by vines in an oval shape and I am in the middle I instantly think it's a monster and get my sword from the inventory to strike and while going for the strike.

at that moment and before my sword touch the veins I hear J in my head 
"STOP SIR "
hearing his loud shout I pull back my weapon ' Why should I stop what is this ?'

" Sir this is mother nature protecting you when you fell after you fainted by creating a protective layer around you to keep you safe from monsters "

' Mother nature protecting me why would it do that? '

" Sir due to your new skill magic & sword Grandmaster you possess control over the elements, they serve you and treat you like a noble existence and any magical attack using any elemental attacks excluding weapons won't harm you unless the one attacking has a higher realm skill than yours "

' I can't get surprised anymore I mean damn I may op but I think this will give me a heart attack '
'breathe breathe so how do I ask the vine to open and let me out '

 then moment later the vines put me down nicely and go back to the ground
 I take a deep breath and open my eyes and look around me and I see the world in a different view everything seems vibrant and I see the magic in the air and in everything around me even the light and shadows, I feel like they are responding to my gaze so I sit and try too calm my mind and take all this in after a couple of minutes, I feel my mana pool is full again. I open my status to see the changes and marvel about how much of a powerhouse I became and I go ' it's settled I going to be one-man army '

' it seems every realm boasts my status further even if my level is low with my current status going to war with a familia like the soma familia is doable I think ' 

I also notice my WP is now  3162 due to the 2 p. legend realm skills I got made more WP  using fusing after fusing the hero realm skills into p.legend realm '

'wait did I just find a loophole in the system, let's go J buy me p. hero level skills for each  skill

I replay the words of the message in my mind and sigh ' he is right I am already the strongest person of this world and I haven't even been here but a couple of days so no need to become greedy too'

I decided that with my current strength I should be able to clear a very big part of this forest by the end of the month then go to the city early because with the new power a month is enough.

 I stand up and head out in the forest while walking I pull out my sword and spread my domain looking for my prey . after two minutes of casual walking, I notice something to the east of my location I focus on it an find another goblin group but this time a group of 6 and they seem to be fighting another animal I use my teleport skill to get close.

once there I see them fighting a big bear in front of a cave and the strange thing that the goblins are using poisoned arrows. but the bear isn't moving forward to attack it seems to be stopping them from entering the cave so I use my domain to sense inside and I sense two life forms it seems to be two young bears. 
'so the bear despite being capable of killing them is afraid to move in the case that an arrow may hit the young ones'

' but if she doesn't move she will die from the poison in the arrows, I decide to intervene I was going out to hunt so let's hunt and do a good deed too I decided to try my sword first before magic it said in the description that anywhere in 100 meters is within my weapons reach.
so I hold my sword and focus on the archers in the back of the 6 standing next to each other and aim for there nicks and slash and two heads fall to the ground.

 I am mesmerized by what happened but no longer delay and decide to use magic this time for the rest while using a different element for each.
 I first command the earth under them to quake to prevent them from fire more arrows and conjure two ice lances for the ones on the right and earth spikes for the ones on the left to penetrate their bodies  

and it turned to be overkill because the ice lances froze the goblins not just penetrating their bodies and the earth spikes were  3 times bigger than them that it was like killing ants with guns.

after their death, the bear looks at me with fear but still tries to protect its kids. I notice it's fear and decide to just help with injuries and leave so I use the light element to heal the poison then healing wounds then a light covers its body and after it dims down all it's injures are gone and it even looks like it's gotten stronger.

that only shows that despite me having control over the elements I need to control my output so I turn my back and walk away from the bear and decide to go learn control on other monsters.

Our MC whose name is Sora is a college student in the second-best university in the country but he is very very bored this not the life he wants this life is boring he keeps asking himself why can't I have been born in anime or MU or xianxia worlds I mean I tried all type of dangerous sports, martial arts but nothing satisfies me I want more I want to fight monsters or people, get to be overpowered and get the women I want. 
So Someone hears his call for help.

As Izroth and his party made their way across the broad pathway, every few moments an intense wave of heat would pass over them. There were also random spurts of flames that jumped out from the lava in their direction, however, the flames always avoided them and simply landed inside of the lava pool on the opposite side.

"I know it's an unspoken rule not to ask about one's life in the real world, but I'm curious. Do you train in any martial arts in the real world?" Mirage asked with the target of her inquiry being Izroth.

Luna and Azalea ears perked up when they heard the question Mirage asked. They too were curious as to what it was that Izroth did in real life that made his combat prowess within RML so fierce. In their minds, he had to be some kind of professional martial arts practitioner or maybe even had some kind of special forces training.

Of course, these were just wild guesses that drifted through their minds. As for asking Izroth about details regarding his personal life, as Mirage said, it was an unspoken rule and could even be considered as being invasive or rude to ask someone about their personal life online. But, this did not stop them from being curious about the answer itself.

"I suppose you could say I've dabbled a bit in martial arts." Izroth responded. It was not entirely true or false that he trained in martial arts. In a sense, a cultivator's true strength did not come solely from their ability to fight, but rather their ability to comprehend that which eludes others.

While heavenly laws and physiques could be considered a higher form of martial arts, in the end, the core difference between the two was like that of night and day. In simple words, there was an ancient saying back in the Seven Realms that goes, "Martial artists reach for the heavens, while cultivators reach pass by heavens."

"I knew it! What were you using back there during that fight? At first, I thought it was just simple boxing, but when you used your legs it made me think of a more overall MMA style of fighting. You know when I..." Mirage began to go on an entire rant about the subject at hand.

As Mirage was talking, Izroth noticed that the lava pools had started to form more bubbles on its surface. All of a sudden, the temple shook violently as the lava pools were now boiling as if it were a pot of water. Not too long after, the broad pathway that Izroth and his party walked on began to be invaded by the lava.

"What's going on?" Mirage said as she had to abruptly keep her balance at the moment the temple shook. It felt as though an earthquake was about to occur and the lava itself grew restless and wanted to escape the confines of the pools. The once broad pathway was now becoming narrower and filled with magma as each second passed by.

'Strange, it almost seems as if the lava has a mind of its own.'

"It appears we'll have to pick up our pace." Izroth said as he hastened his steps. There was something odd about the lava, but he was unable to pick his finger on it. There was always the chance that he was simply overthinking the matter, however, there was this nagging feeling in the back of his mind.

A few moments later, Izroth arrived at the end of the pathway with his party. When he turned back to observe what was happening, Izroth saw that the lava had completely consumed the pathway. 

However, around five seconds later the magma started to retreat back into the pools and the violent shaking stopped. A couple of seconds after that, everything seemed to return to the way it was before.

Luna furrowed her brows with a slightly troubled look on her face as if something was bothering her.

"Is something on your mind?" Izroth asked when he noticed Luna's troubled expression.

Luna shook her head and said, "It's nothing. It's something that will resolve itself with time."

Izroth gave a small nod in response before he shifted his focus towards an opening that led into a spacious room. It was currently being guarded by two Lava Beast, one at each side of the entrance.

It did not take long for them to eliminate the two Lava Beast and proceed into the next room. Before Izroth and his party even set a single foot into the room, they could feel the heat waves intensifying. Fortunately, the Fire Spirit continued to protect them without any problems.

But, even the Fire Spirit could not get rid of the natural discomfort that came from the heat waves which actually led to a Willpower Check by the system. Of course, everyone passed the check with ease.

"So hot!" Mirage said with a frown on her face. She did not mind a good bit of heat since she was used to it, however, it was beginning to reach a level of irritation.

"Indeed, if it continues to increase the further we go into the temple, I'm not sure if the Fire Spirit alone will be enough to protect us. It seems we'll have to rely on our own willpower as well." Luna stated.

"Then, I suppose we'll see just how far our own willpower can take us." Izroth said in a carefree manner. He started to make his way towards a corridor that led out of this room and most likely deeper into the Blazing Temple itself.

However, there were many Lava Beast scattered around and roaming the room. There was no choice but to clear a path to the corridor. Izroth and his party began to sweep through Lava Beast with ease.

Meanwhile back in Amaharpe...

Mariposa massaged the temples on her head and released a long sigh. At the moment, she had a tired expression on her face as if she had not gotten any proper rest over the past few days.

"He Huian, can you say that again?" Mariposa asked.

"I know it's not the answer you need at this time, but the truth of the matter is that they just won't budge no matter how much above the market price we're willing to pay." He Huian said in a low and soft tone of voice.

"Maybe I should just send Valkyria to have a talk with them." Mariposa said to herself.

"Please refrain from making my job any more difficult than it already is, guild leader." He Huian said as she emphasized the words "guild leader" as if to remind Mariposa of her own position.

Mariposa shot up to her feet and said, "Fine! If they want to play it that way then we'll play it that way too! Come, I'll go along with you personally this time! Let's see if they dare turn me away!" Mariposa had a fierce look in her eyes at the moment.

"Y-Yes." He Huian said in a startled manner as she was surprised by Mariposa's sudden outburst.

"Let's go!" Mariposa said as she left the temporary headquarters of Sleeping Gardenia along with He Huian.

Around fifteen minutes later, Mariposa and He Huian arrived outside of a building very much like their own temporary headquarters. However, this building was much smaller in comparison.

"Permissions?" Mariposa said as she turned to He Huian.

"Open to the public." He Huian responded.

"Good." Mariposa gave a small nod before opening the door and entering into the building along with He Huian.

There was a long table at the center of the room and a dozen players that were discussing various matters.

"The price of the Higlosa Flower has dropped by 10.5% in less than a day! I'm telling you, it's useless!"

"Useless? Are you forgetting about what happened to the Silver Albatross Feather? It dropped by 20% the very first day after it was put in the auction house and then what? It more than tripled in price two days later!"

"Bah, both of you are wrong! The future is definitely in raw and refined ores. A player will always need better gear and Blacksmiths will always need ore to craft better equipment. It's a market with boundless potential."

"See? This is how they've been ever since I first visited this place. However, every time I try to start a conversation..." He Huian said as she approached one of the players at the table to give them a friendly greeting. However, before she could even finish her sentence she was cut off.

"You're back here again? We've already told you it's impossible. What's impossible is impossible so it can't be done that's simple logic! We simply don't have any time for such a nonsensical agreement." One of the players who was called Masterworks said.

"Then make time!" Mariposa said with a strong level of authority present in her voice. In truth, she was already busy enough as it is and now she had to come down here to personally deal with this matter. However, there was only one reason why she would even bother paying a personal visit to this group of players.

A dozen players who were all so talkative just moments ago went silent and focused their attention on the newest arrival.

"Ah, guild master Mariposa of Sleeping Gardenia, you honor us with your presence. Come, come, what can we do for you today?" Masterworks said as he stood to his feet with a large and friendly business smile on his face and his hands clasped together.

It was well known that the guild leader of Sleeping Gardenia was incredibly wealthy, therefore, she was a customer who could provide a great amount of profit. Not only that but as one of the top ten guilds within RML, Mariposa held a high level of influence and power. For people like Masterworks, he could always use more friends with more power and influence any day.

"Alright, I'm not here for your legendary hospitality. I've come to talk about the resources He Huian requested from your consortium. Are you not the major suppliers of the Jugris Leaf and Violent Lotus Seeds?" 

"Yes, of course, we are. However, you must understand the amount you're asking for is a bit-" Masterworks tried to explain, but he was cut off by Mariposa.

"I don't need to hear excuses, do you have it or not?!" Mariposa said without giving him any room to spin a web of pretty words just to delay the ultimate answer.

Masterworks furrowed his brows and responded, "To be honest, yes, we do have the amount you're asking for. However, I am afraid we cannot simply sell you our entire supply in one go. Surely you can understand our predicament from a business perspective?"

"You have what I want and I intend to buy it. Will you deny me face?" Mariposa said as she set her gaze upon Masterworks.

Masterworks gave a helpless expression. He did not want to be the one who offended the guild leader of a top guild. He grew silent as the atmosphere in the room became heavy and tense.

However, a few moments later, a player at the head of the table began to laugh which caused everyone to look over in his direction.

"Is something funny?" Masterworks asked with a gloomy expression on his face.

"No, nothing at all. I'm just amazed at by how much of a fool you are. The rumors may escape your ears, but they never escape mine." The player at the end of the table stood up to approach Mariposa.

Mariposa frowned and asked, "And who are you supposed to be?"

"I've been waiting for you to come here personally, guild leader of Sleeping Gardenia. Jugris Leaf and Violent Lotus Seeds, is it? Quantity is not a problem for me, however, I do have a single condition before I sell to you." The player said.

"Oh? What might that be?" Mariposa asked as she narrowed her eyes.

"It's simple really. I just want to become friends, that's all." The player who spoke was someone who Izroth would recognize immediately if he were there at the moment. It was surprisingly Metronome!

Jin, a hardcore gamer who still lives with his mom at the age of 24. He could never hold down a steady job since graduating, his girlfriend since high school dumped him for his best friend and he's constantly getting beat up by a group of local gang members. Cultivation System, Power Levels

Cultivation Paths
Ki-Refining - Ki Refining is one of two paths of cultivation within the Desolate Era universe, it is based on refining elemental essences. This path allows one to use many mysterious Immortal treasures, create complicated golems, control large amounts of deadly magical beasts, develop powerful magical formations, and also use some extremely vile techniques…in a word, this was an extremely glorious and profound path. 

Fiendgod Body Refining - Fiendgod Body Refining is one of the two cultivation methods in Desolate Era. It is based on transforming one's body and exercise the Cultivators entire Body's muscles and internal organs similar to that of the ancient Fiendgods and is a hundred times more difficult than Ki Refining. However, Fiendgod Body Refiners are objectively many, many times stronger than Ki Refiners of the same Cultivation Level, not only because of their superior bodies, regenerative properties and their immense strength akin to Fiendgods but their ability to cultivate Divine Abilities. This form of cultivation primarily exercises the entire body's muscles and internal organs which would allow the practitioners to possess bodies on par with Fiendgods which would entail having Indestructible bodies, possession of boundless strength, having three heads and six arms, and regenerating from a single drop of blood.

Houtian – Stage at which all mortals are born in, 100 years of life, Peak Human Strength

Daos Levels

Basic - In which one is barely grasping the Dao around them, only truly having insight into
something minimal such as Footwork, or sword skills, this allows one to be fairly sufficient
at whatever it is they have reached this level with.
Advanced - barely grasping the Dao, but their insight into whatever they are practicing raises significantly, in other mundane worlds this person would be considered coming close to being a master.
One with the World - barest hint of the Dao is achieved, seen as simple mastery of a technique or skill, anyone at this level is a true master of whatever they're doing in a mundane world, and some can even gain the ability to manifest things like water or fire depending on the Dao they're gaining such a small insight into. You can let the world reinforce your actions, thereby achieving far more for the same amount of effort.
True Meaning of Dao - managed to understand everything the Dao they're gaining insight into incorporates. Most Zifu Disciples are at this level of comprehension in a lesser Dao, and with it can manifest their insight, example some who have insight into the sword being able to throw out beams of concentrated sword energy and etc.
Dao Domain – Fully use their Dao and incorporate it into their surroundings, for example, someone with an insight into the raindrop being able to use it to create a localized rainstorm that cuts when the raindrops land. Most Wanxiang Adepts are at this stage in a lesser Dao.
Dao Path – the person has completely understood everything the Dao contains, all of its nuances and concepts to the point where they can completely manipulate this. Most of the people at this stage are at least at the Primal Daoist level, though some utterly freakish Wanxiang Adepts who have reached it also exist.


Lesser Dao - (ex. Dao of Freezing Ice, Dao of Inferno, Dao of Gale)

Grand Daos - The next level of Daos are the Grand Daos, these Daos are composed of two types of Dao. Can also give insight into forces. 
Daos of nature (e.g. The Grand Dao of the Waterdrop) that are related to natural phenomena and may even contain subsidiary lesser Daos (e.g. The Grand Dao of the Waterdrop contains The Dao of Rainwater) and may themselves be a part of a Heavenly Dao (The Grand Dao of the Waterdrop belongs to The Heavenly Dao of Water).
Technical Daos (e.g. The Grand Dao of the Sword) where a technical art has been advanced so far as to become a Dao of its own and thus, they are unrelated to the natural mysteries of the world and rely as much on advancing ones own Dao heart as understanding their mysteries. To become a True Immortal, it is first necessary to master a Grand Dao

Heavenly Daos – The Daos that are the most supreme of all the Daos and are the most essential towards the universes functioning

Known forces are Spaceforce, Timeforce, Spacetimeforce, Swordforce, Saberforce, Yinforce, Yangforce, Taijiforce, Infiniforce, Thunderforce, Sharpforce, Chaosforce. Infiniforce is a little special because you can get it both by fusing Yinforce and Yangforce and just mastering the Grand Dao of Infinity further. Pretty much everything becomes a Force once you surpass your Chaosworld's Daos in it though, so fireforce, waterforce, earthforce, mortalityforce, etcetera probably also exist.

I have made some changes to the power levels, tell me if I still need to scale things differently. I kept the strength scaling because everyone except cosmic entities is scaled by their strength, it is one of the main ways of comparison in the marvel universe. I will elaborate more on Forces in the future, but that is still a little far away.

The Marvel World has a variety of powers and abilities. Just how much havoc and change can a single cultivator bring into the mix. Well, we are about to find out. 
	Aaron Zamora was a middle age author whose life continually screwed. Watch as a somewhat broken man uses his 5 wishes to gain the powers of Desolate Era cultivator. Will the Marvel World, and to other multiverses that exist still be the same after a being who goes against the heavens is brought into the mix? After all, cultivation is the best way for a mortal to Ascend the Heavens.

    Taong 1999, nalalapit na ang pagpasok ng year 2000 o Y2K, o kung tawagin ngayon ay ang "Millenial Era". May bago noong bukas na bakery sa Twin River Subd. na malapit o halos ilang hakbang lang mula sa videohan ni manang Inday. Maraming kabataan ang lumipat doon sa "Jay-r's Bakery". Palibasa'y bago pa lang, parang pinuputakti ito ng mga kabataan na nagtitinda ng mga tinapay noon. Mula sa Marikina Village hanggang sa'min sa Labas-Bakod, at sa ilang pang mga lugar sa parteng iyon ng Marikina ang mga kabataan ay nahumaling sa bagong bukas na bakery.
   Sila Raffy noon at ilan pang kabataan na taga samin ay 'don na lumipat. Sila Nikolo, Jovel at ilang pang kabataan sa Marikina Village maging sila man ay nandon na din. Dati, napakalimit namin kila manang Inday, halos araw-araw nandon kami kaya, nakikita ko na din ang bagong bukas na bakery na iyon na kapitbahay lang din ni Jerry So. Mula sa Pangasinan ang nagmamay-ari niyon na bagong dating doon na sila Kuya Mulo at ang kanyang asawang si ate Tina, at ilan pa nilang kamag-anak. Ganon naman talaga kapag may bago sa'tin laging dinudumog at pinipilahan.
   Nanatili kami noon sa Benson's bakery kasama ko sila Raymond, Zander, Erwin, Edwin, Bryan at ilan pa, habang sila Raffy ay na sa kabila na. Maganda ang hatiian doon, sa isang daan tinapay na mapapaubos mo ay meron ka ng 23 pesos, samantalang nanatiling bente pesos pa din sa isang daan tinapay sa Benson. Mabait din ang mga tao sa Jay-r's bakery kaya maraming mga bata ang lumipat 'don.
    Namayagpag ng maraming taon ang Benson's Bakery. Halos sa buong lugar na iyon at ilang dikit-dikit na mga subdivision 'don ay halos nakakarating ang mga tinapay nila, o nasusuplayan nila sa pamamagitan namin mga kabataan. Nagdedeliver din noon sila ng mga tinapay sa mga ilang tindahan ng mga subdivison doon. At ang iba ay sinasadya pa ang kanilang panaderia lalo na kung umaga at hapon. Kalakasan noon ng panaderia at napakaraming mga bata ang nagtitinda noon sa kanila.Maraming pera ang pumapasok noon sa kanila sa pagtitinapay. Ngunit ang lahat ay nagbabago, at ang lahat ay may hangganan.
   Dumating ang araw na nagkaroon sila ng kakompitensya, doon nabago ang dating gawi. Hindi ko na din matandaan kung bakit kami lumipat noon sa Jay-r's Bakery. Ang pagkakatanda ko lang ay nagkaroon ng problema sa Benson's Bakery noong madaling araw na magtitinda kami ng pandesal. Mag-uumaga na noon wala pa rin kaming nakukuhang mga pandesal para itinda kaya, nagdesisyon ako noon na lumipat kami sa kabilang bakery.Sinabihan ko ang mga kasama ko na 'don tayo pumunta sa Jay-r, tiyak makakakuha tayo doon ng mga panindang tinapay.
    Nang kami'y dumating sa Jay-r, nakakuha nga kaming lahat ng panindang pandesal. At doon nag-umpisa ang lahat ng aming paglipat. Nagderederetso na kami noon 'don! Halos araw-araw at kada maghahapon ay nandon kami para magtinda ng pandesal. At sa hapon naman ay mga tinapay gaya ng pan de coco, spanish bread, putok, doughnut, kalihim. Lumipat na rin noon si Nestor doon.
   Nagbago noon ang ihip ng hangin, biglang bumulusok pataas ang Jay-r's Bakery. Parang sila noong mga instant celebrity. Ang kanilang mga tinapay ay kung saan-saan nakakarating, marami din noon silang mga deliver habang ang Benson naman ay unti-unting humihina.
   Dumating ang araw ng pasukan, kumunti na noon ang mga batang nagtitinda ng mga tinapay. Muli akong pumasok noon sa eskwela ngunit panghapon ako kaya, sa madaling araw ay nakakapagtinda pa ako ng tinapay para may pambaon sa eskwela. Ang sidecar noon na bisekleta sa bakery ay ipinahiram sa'kin. Matagal kung ginamit 'yon at naging maalwan sa'kin ang paglalako ng tinapay. Marami na din na ako nu'ng kinukuhang tinapay dahil marami na din akong suki.At kaunti nalang ang mga batang nagtitinda noon kaya nabawasan ang mga kakompitensya din.
   Minsan si Nestor ang gumagamit ng bike at ilang kabataan. Nahihiram din namin iyon kila kuya kahit hindi gagamitin sa pagtitinda. Minsan nakakagala kami gamit ang side car nila at ibabalik nalang namin kapag nagsawa na kami. Minsan naman kasama namin ang kanilang panadero, namamasyal at tumatambay kami sa park ng Tierra Vista Subdivision.
   May nereto kami noon ni Nestor sa kanilang panadero, limot ko na ang pangalan ni kuya. Ang babae ay taga sa'min na kaedaran n'ya din. Naging magkaibigan sila noon o naging mag-ka-ibigan ng tumagal. Ang kanilang meeting place ay sa park, at si Nestor noon ang naging daan para sila magkakilala. Natatandaan kong lumapit dati sa'min si kuya at nagpapahanap ng magiging nobya.
   Sa tuwing magkikita sila ng babae ay lagi kaming kasamang dalawa kaya, libre na din noon ang aming meryenda kay kuya. Ilan din ang kanilang mga panadero noon maging si kuya Mulo din ay gumagawa ng tinapay. At si ate Tina naman ang namemera o humahawak ng kanilang pera. Nagkaroon sila ng anak noong si Jay-r kaya doon nila pinangalan ang bakery.
   Patuloy silang namayagpag ng ilang taon hanggang dumating din ang oras ng kanilang paghina. May bagong sumibol noon na bakery sa may Marikina Village na "Three Angels Bakery" na halos kalapit lang din ng Benson's Bakery. At doon sa bagong bukas muling lumipat ang mga kabataan, ngunit nanatili pa rin ako sa Jay-r.
   Sa paglipas ng taon, taong hindi na ako nagtitinda ay nagkaroon din ng kakompitensya ang Jay-r's Bakery na kapitbahay lang din nila. At muli ang mga kabataang sila Zander na taga sa'min ay muling lumipat doon na lalong kinahina ng Jay-r's Bakery.
   
   Namamayagpag din noon ang videohan ni manang Inday. Naging sentro 'yon ng "Entertainment Industry" noon. Sobrang daming mga kabataan sa iba't-ibang mga lugar ang dumadayo noon sa kanilang videohan araw man o gabi. Napupuno talaga 'yon at maraming mga player, ang iba pa nga ay waiting o naghihintay na matapos ang isa para pumalit. Marami din noong mga meron sa loob ng kanilang videohan. Dati nga kapag punong-puno na ito at siksikan na sa loob, nagpapalabas na sila ng mga meron na hindi naman naglalaro. Nadagdagan pa noon ang kanilang mga videohan,naging in demand 'yon noong 90's.Bukod pa 'don, andon din ang mga sugalan sa labas ng videohan. Ang mga kabataang maging mga taga roon na may mga edad sa'min ay nakikisawsaw din sa pagka-cara y cruz ng mga kabataang katulad namin. 🎮🎰🕹🕹🕹
   Sa harap ng bahay nila manang Inday sa kanilang kapitbahay na may gate sa harapan na sementado, doon ang umpukan ng sugalan. Naging legal noon ang sugalan doon maging sila manang Inday ay walang nagawa para pigilan iyon. Meron din mga nagdidigit noon 'don (isang uri din ng sugal) kung ayaw na ng cara y crus. Doon din natuto ang ilang kabataan noon na manigarilyo kaya total entertainment talaga. At kapag talunan ka na sa sugal ay kaawa-awang sisiw ka. Malamang uuwi kang luhaan habang kumukulo ang tiyan sa kagutuman.
    Mabait noon si manang Inday sa'min. Walang problema sa kanya! Ang kanyang asawa naman ay may kaistriktuhan pero minsan wala 'yon pakealam sa'min dahil naging busy sa kanyang mga alagang manok at paghahalaman. Minsan nagkakapera kami kay manang Inday kapag may inuutos s'ya sa'min.
   Si Marlon, ang kanilang anak na lalaki din minsan ang nagbabantay sa kanilang videohan. Naging kuya-kuyahan din s'ya noon 'don at naging kilabot din.
   Meron pa at meron pa! May pulan o pool din noon malapit kila manang Inday. Naging tambayan din dati namin iyon para mag pool at magsugal din, meron din noong play station sa loob ng pool'an, kaya kompletong kompleto noon doon sa Kaolin St. Twin River Subdivision. Andon ang Bakery, Videohan, Pool'an at sugalan. Bukod 'don, meron pa! Andon din ang jeep ng kuya ni Robert na nakaparada sa gabi. Naging tulugan namin iyon o naging mga borders kami sa jeep tuwing sasapit ang gabi. Walang problema din sa kuya ni Robert noon, pinapatulog n'ya kami sa kanyang jeep noon.
    Masayang masaya kami noon, doon sa lugar na 'yon. Naging hustler din noon ako sa paglalaro ng mga arcade games kila manang Inday gaya ng Sonic Wings, Strikers 1945, Strikers 1945 2, Street Fighter, Marvel, Cadillac and Dinosaur, Midnight Wonders, King of Fighters at marami pang iba. Maging mga kababata ko din ay mga naging hustler din. Si Nestor noon naging hustler sa Bomber man. Si Jerry boy ay naging mabalasik din sa mga video games.
   Sa tuwing pupunta doon ang may-ari ng videohan para kumuha ng mga baryang naipon. At para na din umayos ng ilang botton at joystick na nasira dahil sa labis na gigil ng mga player. At para magpalit na din ng bala ng arcade games. Halos mapuno ang kanyang bag sa mga barya, sobrang dami talagang mga barya ang naiipon sa loob ng mga videohan.
    Enjoy yourself! Nakakadik kumbaga ang mga arcade games noon. And'yan na ang mga challenge game o two player na maglalaban. Pumili ka na ng pambato mong character at marami ang pipila sa'yo para pumalit o kalabanin ka, "Here comes a new challenger!" And'yan na din ang mga dayaan, mga technique na pandaya. And'yan na ang bulyawan, asaran, gupangan at sigawan. Talagang nakakaexcite at nakakapanggigil din kapag ikaw ay natalo. Dumarating din minsan ang pikunan sa mga dayaan kaya minsan, asahan mo na din ang suntukan at iyakan ng mga kabataan.
   May mga games din noon na tulungan. Kapag two players kayo mas maganda 'yon para hindi kayo mahirapan at madali n'yong matatapos ang laro, 'yun nga lang kukunsumo ng maraming barya at papalit. Titigil ka lang noon kapag wala ka ng perang panglaro at maging isang meron na lang.Doon mo na din maiisipang umuwi na! 😎... Iyon din ang naging tumpukan ng mga cutting classes na katulad ko.
   Namayagpag din ng maraming taon ang kanilang videohan. Maraming pera din ang kinita nila sa ganong negosyo. Ngunit lahat man din ay may hangganan at muli sa paggulong ng panahon dumating ang katamlayan ng kanilang videohan.

    Nagkaroon din sila noon ng kakompitensya! Halos kasabayan lang din ng Three Angels Bakery o nauna pa nga sa bakery na 'yon, ang isa pang "Arcade games" di kalayuan din sa Three Angels 'don lang din sa Marikina Village. Bumaling noon ang atensyon ng mga kabataan sa bagong bukas na videohan. Maraming mga arcade games ang nakahilera sa loob ng bahay na 'yon, mas marami pa kila manang Inday kaya, ang mga kabataan ay doon naman nanahan. At minsan nama'y cara y cruz din sa labas ng videohan. Umalagwa din iyon sa mga nauna nilang taon,naging busy din 'yon araw man o gabi. Naging hustler noon si Omar o Puding sa Marvel at Marvel vs X-men. Si Joel naman sa maraming laro din gaya ng King of Fighters, Midnight Wonders, Vampire Savior at iba pa.
   Nahati noon ang mga player nila manang Inday kaya humina noon ang kanilang videohan.Kami man din ay hindi na kalimit ng dati kung magpunta sa kanila.
   Meron din noon pool'an malapit din doon, at malapit lang din sa bahay nila Gary at Patrick na naging kakalase ko 'nung grade six. Malimit din noon ang pagtambay namin sa pool'an na iyon, kasama ko sila Nestor, Raffy at Nunoy/Edgar. Naging harang kami noon nila Nunoy doon kaya malimit din kaming manalo sa paglalaro ng pool na pustahan ng pera.Kapag kami'y nananalo at ayawan na, dederetso na kami sa videohan. May sari-sari store doon at 'don kami magmemeryenda bago pumasok sa videohan.
   May isa pa noong sumibol na arcade games sa kantuhan ng Twin River Subd. at Marikina Village, mga taong 2000-2001. Malapit 'yon kila manang Inday, walking distance lang at nasa unahan pa nila. Muli sa bagong arcade games ang mga kabataan ay naengganyo at nahumaling na naman. Doon din kami ay nagsipagtambay at naglaro sa mga bagong arcade games. Namaster ko doon ang Metal Slug 2 at naging Hustler sa laro na 'yon.
   Nagkaroon din noon ng bagong arcade games o video games sa Anastacia Village sa parteng phase 3, mga taong 2002 or 2003. Napakalapit niyon sa'min. Ang mga kabataan sa'min maging mga mas bata sa'min ay halos araw-araw din nandoon. Nahumaling ang mga mas bata sa'min o mga papasibol pa lang noon na maglaro doon at magenjoy. Ang mga naging ibang games doon ay nalaro ko na kila manang Inday, sa Marikina Village at sa Kantuhan ng Marikina Village at Twin River.
   Maraming naging volume ng King of Fighters,and'yan na ang KOF '92, '93, '94, '95, '97, '98, 2000, 2001  and so on. Ang Steet Fighter ay marami din edition, Street Fighter 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on. Maging ang Metal Slug din, magmula sa una hanggang sa ilang volume din. Meron din ang Marvel vs Capcom.
   Maraming nalaro kami noon na mga iba't-ibang klaseng video games, and'yan na ang Tekken, Samurai Showdown, Tenggai, Mortal Combat, Mga karera ng kotse, Meron pa noon na babaeng unti-unting nahuhubaran sa pamamagitan ng baraha at puzzle, Captain Commando, NBA Jam, X-men, mga iba't-ibang fighter jet at napakarami pang iba.
   Ang aking kababatang si Nino o Boneng ay naging kilabot noon sa mga videohan. May kakaibang katangian o skills si Boneng. At ang lakas ng loob n'ya ay hindi matutumbasan ng mga kabataan noon. Naging matindi s'ya noon o alamat! Ang mga videohan doon ay 'di n'ya pinalampas.
   Matindi 'yon si Boneng kung maningting sa mga arcade games. Minsan nga napapaabot n'ya ng maraming credits ang bawat unit ng videohan, tapos lilipat lang s'ya sa kabilang games o upunan, titingtingin at iyon may credits na muli. Nakakalibre kami ng mga laro kapag nandon s'ya dahil sa kanyang walang takot na abilidad.
   Halos lahat ng videohan doon ay kanya ng natingting!At masaya 'yon kapag nandon ka. Makakalibre ka ng maraming paulit-ulit na pag-START at paglalaro, kumbaga one to sawa kami.
   Naging matunog ang pangalan n'ya sa mga may-ari ng bawat videohan doon. At dumating sa punto na naging banned o na ban s'ya sa mga ilang videohan. Kapag nakikita s'ya ng may-ari ay 'di na s'ya pinapapasok. Hehehe! he! he! Nagkaroon sila noon ng "Phobia" kay Boneng! Naging matalas din ang mga mata ng bawat bantay sa videohan kapag si Boneng ay nandoon. May mga pagkakataong pinapaalis s'ya ng asawa ni manang Inday at anak nilang si Marlon, maging sa Marikina Village na videohan ay na ban s'ya din. Minsan ay nahuhuli s'yang nanininting kaya takbo agad sa labas si Boneng habang galit na galit ang nagbabantay sa paghabol palabas.
    Dati, napasama kami ni Nestor kay Boneng na maningting sa isang videohan. Sinama n'ya kami bilang mga look-out n'ya. Natatawa talaga ako sa pangyayaring iyon. Nu'ng oras na naniningting s'ya, gumana naman at nakapaglaro pa kami sa ilang credits. Sakto naman at walang bantay noon at walang ka player-player ng gabing iyon. Hindi pa nakontento si Boneng at kanyang baklasin ang fly wood nito sa likod. Talagang binuksan n'ya ang likod at pilit kumuha ng mga barya sa box. Nagtawanan kami noon ni Nestor habang pinapanuod s'ya ng s'yay makuryente sa pagpasok ng kanyang kamay sa loob ng videohan. Ha! Ha! Ha!.. Takbuhan kami noon ng lumagapak ang fly wood dahil sa pagkakakuryente n'ya. May nakuha naman s'yang mga barya noon.😜

May isang dakilang nilalang ang sumagip sa'kin sa tiyak na kamatayan!.. Marahil utang ko sa kanya ang lahat-lahat!.. Magmula sa paghihirap hanggang sa kaginhawaan na muli n'ya sa'king pinaranas... "HINDI KO ALAM at KUNG PAPAANO!!??", na ang dati ng patay ay muli pang nabuhay. Isang malaking palaisipan o sabihin man nati'y maging isang "MISYON" man na gumugulo sa magulo kong isipan. O, sadyang "MASAMANG DAMO LANG!". ITO ANG AKING KWENTO, LASAPIN N'YO. At tulungan n'yo akong hanapin iyon... [ANG DAKILANG LUMIGTAS SA AKIN SA TIYAK NA KAMATAYAN]

Living together with Gloriana aboard a single ship was an entirely new experience to Ves. While he had to get used to Gloriana's idiosyncrasies such as her expression of her faith, all in all he felt as if he stepped into a paradise.
After spending so much time alone, he began to rediscover the pleasures of life. Talking, hugging, kissing and working together with Gloriana brightened his life like never before.
Whereas before his life revolved around his work, the addition of a woman by his side introduced a lot of brightness in his daily routine.
His days with Gloriana brought so much pleasure and contentment to him that his paranoia flared up from time to time. How could he be so lucky to mesh so well with another mech designer? It sounded too good to be true!
For this reason, Ves never let up his vigilance. He continually sent out Lucky to harvest more data from the Stellar Chaser's databanks. He also sent out his spiritual projections to inspect each and every crew member aboard the ship to see if they weren't hidden Compact agents or anything.
Nothing. Ves found nothing suspicious about his girlfriend among his nightly investigations. She appeared to be exactly as she presented herself as, and that confused him for some time.
As someone who frequently lied and resorted to misdirection, he couldn't really understand how Gloriana could be so honest and forthright to everyone.
From all of the communication logs he skimmed over, he never got the impression that Gloriana exhibited any hypocrisy or duplicity.
"She doesn't have to." He realized. "The life she has led is different from mine."
She never had to fight for her life. She was protected around the clock by well-equipped guards and mechs. She mostly resided in the safest places in the Scimitar System and the rest of the Hegemony.
In addition, Gloriana did not have any interactions with scoundrels, pirates, spies and other scum. She never needed to adopt a flexible attitude to protect herself or get ahead in life. Her mother and the Wodin Dynasty had already paved most of the way for her success.
Gloriana enjoyed an enviable life. Though she still had to work hard on her account in order to meet her mother's incredibly high expectations, she only needed to be a good mech designer.
She didn't even have to sully her hands by engaging in politics, which was an important factor in keeping her pure!
It made sense once Ves regarded Gloriana as a product of the Wodin Dynasty. With thousands of descendants, each Wodin born into their name was expected to fulfill a specific purpose. Just like many other noble houses or dynasties, those who disgraced their families or ended up as good-for-nothings would be stripped of their esteemed names!
As a prominent and future high-ranking mech designer, the Wodins obviously treated Gloriana as a treasure to their entire dynasty. They did not raise her to become the next matriarch. They raised her to become their principal mech designer!
Though Ves wasn't completely comfortable with this arrangement, he knew it was a fair one.
He wasn't really sure what that meant in terms of their relationship. Would he become a potency of the Wodins once he married her? If they expected him to worship the ground that women walked upon, then he would definitely take issue!
Still, the joy he gained in his life far outweighed his concerns. In any case, becoming a potency of the Wodin Dynasty meant he also enjoyed their protection.
Nonetheless, if Ves wanted to earn the Wodin Dynasty's approval, he had to show to them that he could bring much more value to them than any other potential suitor to Gloriana!
The suggestions that she put forward troubled him continually.
"Producing a bunch of masterworks derived from excellent second-class mech designs will kill two birds with one stone." She told him during their cuddling time in the lounge. Their cats cuddled together as well below their feet. "Not only will you be able to prove you're better than the Journeymen from the Hegemony, but we can also earn an incredible amount of hex credits in the process to fund our upcoming expedition! It's a perfect solution!"
Ves smiled awkwardly at her. "I admire your enthusiasm, but you ask too much of me. Crafting my first masterwork mech a few months ago was just a fluke. I keep telling you over and over again that masterworks can never be produced on demand!"
"We don't have to make too many masterworks! Just a handful is enough for us to afford a factory ship!"
"How can that be?" He frowned. "As far as I know, the factory ships up to Hegemony standard are ludicrously expensive!"
She smiled and patted his forearm. "Oh, you silly boy, you underestimate the value of high-quality custom mechs. There are many wealthy scions in the Hegemony who would gladly pay a lot of hex credits to pilot a mech that can bring out the most of their strengths. If their mech is a masterwork on top of that, they can not only be assured that they are piloting the best that their money could buy, but they can also earn a lot of prestige from owning such a prized and rare machine!"
He understood both of those arguments. He knew that wealthy and powerful mech pilots like Lord Javier of House Eneqqin or Lady Miralix of House Laterna were willing to pay enormous sums to maximize their chances of success.
In their perspective, spending five to ten times the price of a standard mech was more than worth the expenditure if they achieved a lot of success in battle!
In their societies, success in battle directly translated into greater reputation, which would pay them a lot of dividends in the future such as being appointed to senior leadership positions.
As for masterwork mechs, they were so rare that each of them were pretty much regarded as trophies. Their excellent craftsmanship and exquisitely optimized performance would definitely earn the admiration of peers!
While their actual performance did not differ too much from non-masterwork mechs, the symbolic value they held simply couldn't be bought on demand, which justified their insane price premiums!
"In other words, wealthy people are willing to spend insane amounts to satisfy their vanity." He summed up.
"Vanity is not inherently bad when it gets you ahead." She added. "When I tell you that Hexers are willing to fund our factory ship to obtain an excellent masterwork mech, I really mean it. One thing you have to know about the second-class mech market is that it features a considerably higher price ceiling than what you are used to! The scions of the matriarchal dynasties are even willing to pay a thousand times the price of a standard mech to pilot an excellent, custom masterwork mech!"
Translated to the Bright Republic, that meant that a mech pilot from one of the founding families was willing to pay 60 billion credits or more for a custom masterwork mech!
Such an immense price tag was more expensive than many expert mechs, and it was mostly due to the fact that it was a masterwork!
Ves shook his head. "Even if I can accept that there are moneybags in the Hegemony who are willing to invest so much in a masterwork mech, that still leaves the fundamental problem of making them. Why are you so sure that we can produce not one, but several within a decade?"
Her grin widened. "Have you forgotten about my specialty?"
He had grown more and more familiar with what she was capable of. Her design philosophy and her high standards pushed her to excel in almost every matter concerning mechs. Whether it was offense, defense or mobility, she sought to develop a thorough understanding of all of them in order to ensure that every aspect of her work was as flawless as possible!
If not for the incredible capabilities and processing power of her Erestal-015 implant, she would have never been capable of keeping up with all of her studies!
In any case, her targeted focus on designing and building the perfect vessel meant that her design philosophy applied to her mech designs in a very odd manner.
The best way to describe it was that her design philosophy imposed an effect that was opposite to Murphy's law. What could go wrong might not go wrong. Any weak points and flaws in her designs became a little less serious in practice.
In essence, her design philosophy helped them perform better by mitigating some of the flawed and suboptimal implementations!
It was no wonder the MTA regarded her so highly. Her specialty effectively amplified the specialties of other mech designers in collaborative design projects!
The diverse range of possibilities of Class I design philosophies mostly produced average results due to their spread, but occasionally a gem like Gloriana came around who defied conventional logic!
Of course, at this stage the effect was barely noticeable. It also remained to be seen whether Gloriana could progress to the point where it was worthwhile to involve her in a project.
However, Ves remembered that her specialty also played a role in fabricating mechs aside from designing them. She already told him that she always fabricated her custom mechs in person to achieve the most ideal result.
Having studied some of her project logs, Ves recalled that the quality of her end products always turned out to be high. When Ves connected these outcomes to her specialty, he began to make a very bold realization.
He looked shocked at her. "Don't tell me.. your specialty is geared towards producing masterworks?"
"Hihihi! You guessed it!" She raised her hands towards her mouth. "How can I design the perfect vessel but fail in the execution? Such outcomes spoil much of what I am working towards! For this reason, achieving the highest quality possible in producing a mech has always been my second ambition! Nothing brings more fulfillment to me than succeeding in creating a masterwork mech!"
The ambition she set forward frankly scared Ves. Almost no one could reliably produce masterwork mechs! Not even Master Mech Designers could consistently produce them, and some still hadn't managed to produce them despite their formidable skill!
"From the rumors I've heard, only Star Designers are able to make masterwork mechs on demand." He spoke.
"There are exceptions. You know that, right? Some mech designers have managed to achieve this threshold at the Master-level."
"You're not a Master." Ves pointedly retorted. "You're still a Journeyman, and a very young one at that. Specialty or not, at this stage in your progression, you are incredibly far away from producing masterworks on a consistent basis."
She never let up on her optimism. "That may be true, but as long as I make some progress, my chances of making one may become high enough that we can succeed in producing at least a couple of masterworks in the next decade!"
"Why are you so confident?"
"Because I have you, a mech designer who has already built his first masterwork! Do you know how hard I tried to approach the mech designers in the Hegemony who have made similar achievements? It's incredibly hard for them to take notice of me, especially because they are already esteemed Seniors or Masters who prefer to collaborate within their own networks!"
"And you think that working with me can solve this problem?"
"Why not?" She smiled. "I believe in you, Ves. What's more, I believe that combining our design philosophies will allow us to achieve remarkable results!"
She sure expected much out of their union! Whether their collaboration projects actually achieved the outcome she expected was still in question.
"I don't think we'll be able to make enough masterwork mechs to fund our entire grand expedition."
He was afraid she would go mad or something if they failed to meet this goal by the time he wanted to depart.
Surprisingly, she wasn't as intolerant as he thought.
"That's okay, Ves. We should just do the best we can and earn as much money as we can make in the next few years. If we still come up short, we can always cover our deficit by drawing upon outside investment. The Wodin Dynasty and various external parties would be glad to invest in our ventures as long as we show at least some promise together."
That sounded a lot more reasonable. Combining both solutions to fund their grand expedition gave them enough flexibility to go forward regardless of their results!


Humanity has conquered half the galaxy and the Age of Mechs reigns supreme!

Ves Larkinson lacked the genetic aptitude to become a famed mech pilot. Fighting against his fate, he studied mech design in order to express his love for mechs as a builder instead of a soldier.

When Ves graduated from college, he returned to a new but empty boutique. Left with a small, newly founded mech workshop that his father painstakingly built with a mountain of debt, Ves somehow needs to make ends meet with the bank breathing down his neck.
