One month was all I had to hold on for, but Captain Red and his men made it no easy feat. While I had not expected a warm welcome, sabotaging my given chores and stealing my food and drink felt excessive. 
For every bucket of water I hoisted up from the sea, there was a pirate ready to knock it over on "accident" which forced me to repeat. 
For their record, I counted seven times. 
By the second week, I recognised their patterns. My most frequent saboteur had a raspy breath from a lifetime of smoking tobacco and whose cough one could hear from anywhere on the ship. Another walked with a significant limp, supported by his wooden cane whenever possible. They were both easy to elude. 
As for my meals, I made friends with the cook whose name was Stewart Little. He was a man anything but little, with massive curls and a matchless sense of fashion, Stewart Little was a personality to behold. In exchange for assistance in the kitchenette, he permitted me to dine in solitude, or with his company if I so wished. 
He spoke with a painfully fabricated French accent and whether this was done on purpose or not, no one could tell. 
Stewart's origin was a great riddle. 
The Captain knew not from where he came and, frankly, few believed Stewart himself knew. For, while he was a pleasant company, none of the men aboard could remember Stewart sober. 
A few rumoured Stewart was, indeed, French and that his accent was but a practical joke, while others disagreed. 
"That fella ain't French," I overheard one of the men say to another one evening while I scrubbed the deck, "Only ting French 'bout him is the obnoxious clothes he insists on wearing." The second man agreed while a third added, "Don't forget his name–hasta be British." 
They never settled on one unanimous theory.  I scrubbed the quarter-deck until late at night, humming to myself as I worked hunched over and on my knees. My fingers were numb to the point where I could hardly bend them around brush or cloth. 
"You're still up," Captain Red commented from somewhere beside me. We hadn't had a conversation since the night of me joining the crew and so, it took me a moment to answer. "I decided to work late," I said shortly, "one of the men wanted to switch shifts." 
I earned no sympathy nor congratulations from the Captain, neither of which I expected. Instead, he squatted down beside me and pulled me to my feet. My legs ached, barely supporting the weight of my body. 
"I've come to a decision, a few, actually," the Captain announced. He spoke in a monotone not uncommon for him, but it still took some getting used to. "One month has passed and you are, well, mostly alive. Would have worked yourself to death had I let it go on."  I began to argue, "If you let it go on?" but I lacked the willpower to quarrel with him. 
"You've exerted yourself enough for tonight," Captain Red went on, "we can talk in the morning. As for now…consider yourself dismissed." 
"But the deck–" 
"Before I change my mind, Eden," there was a warning in his words, a warning not to push it. 
So I didn't.
A worn and thorn hammock welcomed me at the crew's quarters. People slept all over the place; high and low, and the most drunken men laid scattered across the floor. Some had fallen from the lower hammocks while others hadn't made it to theirs in the first place. Had I not promptly passed out, it would have been a droll sight.  
I stood outside the Captain's cabin, apprehensive to knock. I held my fist to the door and pulled it away several times before the man with the significant limp grew tired of waiting and knocked for me in bypassing. "Get 'n with it already," he groaned. 
Behind me, several men had paused in their ways to watch me waver.  
I huffed and pushed through the door. 
A wall of tobacco and candle smoke made my eyes water. I blinked hard. Captain Red sat behind a cluttered desk with his hat hanging heavy at the side of his high-backed chair. To his right there sat a blue and yellow parrot eyeing me in an unnatural silence. 
"So you decided to come after all," the Captain noted, his gaze restricted to the desk. 
"Have a seat." 
I stepped up to the cross-framed chairs on my side of the desk and folded my arms tightly. "I stand just fine," I said, "why did you call me here?" 
"To discuss your future aboard the Calypso." Captain Red sunk back in his chair. Underneath candlelight and without the deep shadows cast by his hat, the Captain didn't look as hostile. Had I not known better, I would have thought him enticing.
"Go on," I urged.
"As much as I loathe to admit it, I misjudged you." I let that sink in as he propped his mud-spattered boots on to the desk, one foot crossed over the other. He continued, "In a few days, we arrive in North Africa, Morocco to be specific. I want to give you a choice because while you are an acceptable addition to the crew, I need you to follow orders willingly and not out of spite." His steady stare sent chills up my arms. "Can you do that, Eden?" 
I didn't answer.
"You have 'till we leave Morocco to decide." He went on looking to the parrot who was more interested in their rich feathers than us. I breathed deep and readied myself to leave when he spoke again, "and, Eden, one more thing: Don't tell the men about this." 
I arched an eyebrow. 
While I understood why he wouldn't want his men to know a girl had proved him wrong, I found it ridiculous. Men in this day and age required to feel superior to women and many went to bizarre lengths to achieve it–cost what it may. 
"They won't know," I reassured him. 
Two men staggered tactlessly away from the door as it swung open. I gave the pair a disappointed look.  "Were you spying on us?" I probed, furrowing my brows. 
One of the bystanders stepped forward, "And if they were?" 
"What'll ye do 'bout it?" another supported. 
"Then they answer to me," the Captain sneered. He slithered past me, into the half-circle which had formed around his door and regarded his men sordidly. 
"Who here thought it ingenious to invade my privacy?" His voice rose with each word, mocking the men who had supported the deed. An agonizing silence fell over the crew. Those who had been courageous a moment ago and had each other's backs shrank before the Captain. 
"That's what I thought," he spat, "Anyone of you guilty of this exploit are not welcome on the Calypso and will stay in Morocco." 
"But cap'tn," an old-fashioned man piped up, "women mean bad luck!"
The Captain ignored him.
"If we have no respect among ourselves, what do we have?" Captain Red asked his men, none of which dared speak. 
"We have nothing," I commented. 
The Captain spun around and made a grand gesture with his arms, welcoming the answer. "We have nothing," he echoed, "This girl has a better grasp of what it means to be a man than you lot do." I shifted my weight from one leg to the other, embarrassed by the unexpected acknowledgement. And, as the Captain dismissed the assembly, I could have sworn I saw him smile.

"When you hear the name Thatch you will first think of my husband, Red James Thatch, or, perhaps more famously, his father Edward Thatch, better known as Blackbeard. Regardless, it will not be mine nor that of my daughter, Mary-Anne. We are but supporting roles in their tales of piracy and travel.

In my living years, I didn't care much for the publicity. My husband could have it and he did, he was made for it, that man. But not me. I was content playing the role of his loyal wife and mother of his daughter.

Even so, my life makes for quite the tale to tell, and I believe it is time to share the life and death of Eden Thatch with the world."

Kruthika was lost in her thoughts. 
"Hey. What are you thinking of?", came a voice beside her which disturbed her thoughts. It was Emily.
"Oh nothing. What's up?", asked Kruthika being cheerful in her voice and turned her head side upwards towards Emily.
"Nothing Kruthi. It's just. I'm not feeling like to work today", Emily said as she sat beside.
"Why? What happened? Did George break up with you?", asked Kruthika.
"Nothing like that. I just feel like tired. I need a long vacation to rest and to enjoy", Emily said.
"Yeah. Why don't you take a vacation and again come back to work freshly. I read somewhere taking a break from your work occasionally is good and studies proved that the employees become much more productive than before", Kruthika said as she saw the people rushing to the airport.
"I'm thinking of it. But I'll ask in June and take vacation from middle of like on 17th or something", Emily said,"Do you wanna a gum?"
"Yep. So discuss it with George. What's the time?", Kruthika asked as she started to chew the gum.
"We still have ten minutes. We'll stay for seven to eight minutes and then go. What do you say?", Emily asked. Kruthika agreed to her.
They were listening to music, observing the people, vehicles and planes. Later they went to the tower to their block and resumed the work that previous shift has paused. She finished her work and returned to home. After freshing up she went to kitchen and prepared the breakfast.
Since it was Monday morning no one woke early until Kruthika shouts I'm the drawing room reminding them about their job.
"Hey wake up. Time's already 8 o'clock. Sachin. Hemanth. Wake up!", Kruthika shouted banging their room door.
"Coming. Five more minutes!", replied a voice in the room. 
"Hey wake up. Anirudh. Sudeep. Look at clock it's 8 am!", Kruthika screamed. She rubber her neck as screaming and shouting hurted her thorax.
"Two more minutes. I'll come", said Anirudh.
She thought of waking up Abhikshith but she didn't knew his shooting timings. 
Abhikshith came down rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning. How was your sleep?", asked Kruthika.
"Good", said Abhikshith and sat on the dining table. He's eyes were closing slowly.
"Are you still sleepy?", Kruthika asked.
"Good", said Abhikshith who was sleeping on his hands resting on table.
Kruthika smiled to herself looking at his state and at his irrelevant answer to her question. 
 Everyone woke up, had breakfast, got dressed and went to their jobs, Anirudh and Sudeep to their office, Sachin and Abhikshith to their studios and Hemanth to his research laboratory.
Kruthika slept and woke up as usual got dressed for her classes. She went to the park to conduct the yoga for the kids.
She observed Rupert wasn't present, she started the class with revising the previous day's asanas. After few minutes she could see two women and two children approaching her. One woman was wearing her jeans and purple blue check shirt who had blue eyes and red hair in her mid thirties whom she recognised as Rachel Rupert's mom and there was a boy with the them who had chubby cheeks and blue eyes as his mother.
Other women was dressed in formals who had black hair and brown eyes and was taller than Rachel she looked in her post thirties and a girl who dressed in her yoga pants who was having brown hairs and blue eyes she couldn't recognise them.
"Sorry for being late. Rupert go and join", Rachel said, "Well this is Martha Stewart and it's her daughter Lisa"
Martha continued, "Hello. She's my daughter Lisa, Lisa and Rupert both are classmates.Rupert once mentioned to her about the yoga class he's attending and Lisa wanted to join your class. So I came here to enquire about it and join her to the class".
"Well... I'm sorry but I can't take few more students to the class. The kids over here know about yama, niyama, asanas and pratyahara. And it's been going well. If I read it additional student I've to teach her everything from beginning, which I can't", Kruthika answered looking at Martha and Lisa.
"Why don't teach her after this class? My daughter is a very quick learner and I know she'll learn it very fast", Martha said looking at Kruthika but there was no tone of politeness from her.
"Firstly, I've many things to do and I'm busy throughout the day. I can't teach her lessons privately because of my schedule. Secondly, it's not about mugging up things like one does in school. It's about values and principles where one adopts in their life and it takes time. Thirdly, don't repeat that tone with me again", Kruthika said looking to her eyes.
"Will you show me your passport? I'm a police officer", Martha said as showed her badge to her.
"Wait a minute", Kruthika said and handed the passport to her from her sling bag, "Here it is. May I see your badge?"
They both looked into each other's eyes, Martha gave her badge to her. Rachel stood she didn't know what was happening.
"You did mention about yama and niyama, right? What are they?", Martha asked as she gave the passport to her.
"Yoga has eight basic limbs. Which are yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dhyana, dharana and samadhi. All these eight are important. Yama which is ethical rules and niyama is principles. It's like a moral education to them the kids. They must not only know these things but also follow them in thier life", Kruthika said.
"Okay. Sorry about my behavior towards you. Can you try to take her classes?", Martha said.
"No. I'm really busy whole day. I'm taking this class as my hobby", Kruthika said.
"It's fine then. I've to go", Martha said and they both left.
Kruthika just continued her class and after finishing it she attended the music class. 
She reached home around 7 and prepared the dinner. Abhikshith and Sachin were already present at home before her.

Alexia smiles, "My parents have let you sleepover before, so it should be fine. Now come on, my parents are probably making breakfast right now! Let's go!"

Inching closer, he continued," Do you want us to it for the first time here in this unromantic hotel room? I don't want to."

Pausing for a while, Kevin smiled and said," But if you so badly want us to do it, I can-" before cupping her breast.

Silvia placed her hand on his chest and lightly pushed him away," Even I don't want to." 

Just then someone knocked at their door.

Kissing her forehead, Kevin got down and said," It's the room service I guess. I'll go see."

Silvia grabbed his arm and said," I don't think you should go." 

" Why?" Kevin asked.

Looking at his big bulge under his robe, Silvia cleared her throat and said," You shouldn't go out with that so I'll go."

Wrapping his arms around her waist, Kevin smiled and said," Do you even realise that you did that to me Mrs Austin."

Inching closer, Kevin said in a very horse and seductive tone," Why don't you help me tonight just like last time."

When Silvia felt his hard member poking her lower abdomen, she curled her toes. 

Silvia's whole body started feeling hot when the images of her helping him calm his little brother down flashed in her mind.

She still remembered how HUGE and hard Kevin was back then.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

" Kev." Silvia said.

When Kevin, who was busy marking her neck raised his head, Silvia said," Our food."

" Alright go get it fast." Kevin said.

When Silvia entered the room along with the tray, she licked her lips when she saw the delicious food in front of her. Kevin had ordered all her favourites but he also did not forget to order a plate of green salad.

When Kevin saw her drooling over her own food, he chuckled and asked," Are choosing food over me?" 

" It will turn cold." Silvia said before placing a French fry inside her mouth.

" Wash your hands first Silvia." Kevin said.

Shoving food inside his mouth, Silvia said," They are clean."

Looking at his food monster wife enjoying her food, Kevin sighed and entered the washroom.

More than food, Kevin needed a cold shower.

Jelvis headquarters.

" Young missus." The receptionist greeted Martha.

Martha nodded her head and asked," Where are they?"

" Sir and young master are inside Sir's office." The receptionist said.

Martha nodded her head and stepped into the elevator.

" Wasn't that Ms Martha Jelvis?" an employee asked the receptionist.

The receptionist nodded her head and said," Yes."

" It's so rare to see her but whenever I do, I always feel that she is more deserving for the CEO position than-"

" Sssshhh are you tired of living? Don't say such things loudly." The receptionist said.

….

Inside the office.

" Why did you do that?" Martha asked.

Sermon Jelvis smirked and said," There are many things that I do everyday little sister, what are you talking about?"

" You-"

" Enough." A middle aged man who was sitting on the chair said.

Koulus Jelvis frowned and said," Martha Jelvis where are your manners? Your father is sitting right in front of you and you did not even greet him?" 

Not giving any kind of face to her father or her brother, Martha said," You people have a problem with me right? Then why are you dragging Chris into this?"

" What are you talking about?" Koulus Jelvis asked.

Martha frowned and said," Don't act innocent father. Why did you interfere in Sparkle and Shine's upcoming project and helped this idiot stop it?"

Sermon Jelvis frowned and said," Hey, who are you calling an idiot?"

" You obviously." Martha said.

" Enough. Who told you that we are interfering in that cunning and vicious man's business?" Koulus Jelvis asked.

" Why don't you ask your son about it?" Martha said.

" Ah ha so what if I did that? What are you gonna do?" Sermon asked.

" What did he do?" Koulus asked.

" He used his dirty connections and is trying to make things difficult for Chris." Martha said.

" Dirty? Your man used dirty methods and snatched the deal away from me." Sermon said.

Martha rolled her eyes and said," That is called business tactics Mr Jelvis which you obviously don't have in you."

" Enough of all this. What do you want Martha?" Koulus asked.

" I don't want anyone of you to interfere in anything that concerns Chris." Martha said.

" Is that man everything to you now?" Koulus asked.

" I won't let anyone of you harm Chris this time." Martha said.

Taking out a folder from the drawer, Sermon said," Aright we will stop bugging your man if you do something." 

" What?" Martha asked.

" Give up your shares." Sermon said.

Snatching the papers from Sermons hand, Martha picked up the pen and without thinking twice signed her initials on the paper and tossed it towards her brother.

Placing the pen back, Martha said," I hope you will stop doing what you are doing." Before walking towards the door.

" Stop right there Martha." Koulus Jelvis shouted.

Walking towards her, Koulus said," Are you aware of what you did right now?"

" I am." Martha said.

" You just gave up shares which are worth millions." Koulus said.

When Martha did not say anything, Koulus continued," You gave up your family's assets in a blink of an eye."

" I can give up my life for him in the blink of an eye so your shares are nothing." Martha said before walking out.

Alivia's POV

There where a bit of "Ooos' and Aaahs, teasing Steve. Even Natasha smiled, shaking her head at Steve, ... or maybe it was at me. Oh well.

"You guys want breakfast since your here?" I paused. "As long as you don't mind waiting, of course."

I got a few sure's, yes's and please's. Causing me to smile widely. 

I can't even remember the last time I was able to eat with the entire family, ... my family. 'I can finally eat with my family' I rub my eyes to stop the tear threatening to fall. 

I can only hope... they'll let me in. I'm already having the time of my life just being here. Even knowing about the possible danger, being here is well worth that risk. Maybe even a bonus depending how I look at it.

Getting back to my good mood, I proudly decide to go all out. 

Pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, even French toast if anyone wants any. I know that Tony likes blueberries, but I'm not confident in making blueberry pancakes, so I'll just make a blueberry sauce. I also know Steve likes over easy eggs.... what ever that is, so I'll just make different types, hopefully everyone can get something they like. 

"Hmm, lets see..." I mumble. 'Pancakes, French toast, and bacon can be frozen to be eaten later, eggs not so much.' "Let's do it this way." I took out lots of bacon 'who can say no to bacon?', two loaves of bread, a bowl of blueberries, a bowl of strawberries, sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, milk, oil, and plenty of eggs. Almost forgot the empty jar for the bacon fat.

Since the freshness of fruit is a one time deal, I decide to simply cut them, returning them to their bowls and sprinkle sugar on. I can easily deal with the leftovers, later. After placing the cut fruit back into the fridge I start on pan frying the bacon, since its raw... well technically smoked and can still be eaten, but I like mine crunchy, so I'll have some over done and some semi done for those that lie chewy... ... should probably ask Han Solo if he likes Chewy. 

'... probably need to start cooking'

As I cooked the bacon, I started making the pancake batter. Mostly because it's a little more prep time then French toast, seeing how thats just scrambled eggs seasoned with cinnamon coated on stale ... or fresh, either works, bread. "Oh." I state.  Causing the Avengers to look at me. "Do you guys prefer fluffy or thin pancakes?"

"Fluffy."

"What kind of question is that?"

"You really don't have to..."

I couldn't help but chuckle, "Both it is then."

"I said Fluffy."

"Why both?"

"That's a lot of work, you really don't have to. Do you want help?"

This time I laughed. "Thanks Steve. I don't mind the help, but I don't need it. And Tony, why Not both? Consider it as way for me to get to know you all a bit better."

"And Clint... I'm Not fluffy, we discussed this." I added sticking out my tongue.

Clint just laughed, and I along with him.

So I made two batches of fluffy batter and two batches of thin just by changing the amount of milk. For thin, I did a cup of milk and for fluffy pancakes I only used half a cup. 

I learned from my dad surprisingly he was the cook. Mom was Mac and cheese, leftovers, cereal, sandwiches and TV dinners... yeah ... dinner was the only 'meal' we really got. '...And then I learned to cook...' I shook my head erasing that train of thought, 

'Dad was a good teacher.' I smiled as I started in on the eggs. Scrambling them plain, so I can season for the French toast and have scrambled eggs on the side. Practically all of the prep is completed. All I have to do now if fry them... that's gonna take a while. Luckily Steve, my savior, insists on helping me. This time I accepted, smiling gratefully.

"Thanks Steve. It really helps."

He just smiles down at me, "It's what I should do. Besides we should be thanking you for making ..." He looks at all of the food "all of this."

'Opps, might have made too much.' I just smiled in response, 'I do have plans for the leftovers though.'

I have Steve fry the pancakes and French toast since they won't require much fat since we have nonstick pans. "Oh Steve."

"Hmm?"

I place a jar on the counter, "Could you use this instead of vegetable oil?" 

It was the jar of bacon fat I had been working on since the beginning. No, I didn't forget I was cooking bacon while doing my prep work, it was a mini distraction, very hard not to swipe a few pieces here and there. Though I'm pretty sure I saw Clint in here earlier. 

"Hey!!" I heard a shout.

No biggie. 

Steve smiles and I'm sure I know why. Dad said grandma would cook with bacon fat, especially in biscuits, I just wanted to use it as a bonus flavor for the eggs instead of salt. The pancakes and French toast won't really need much since it'll be more of a starter to keep the first few from burning. I helped Steve fry till half of the toast and pancakes were done before working on the eggs, since some can stay heating in the oven to be good like sunny side up and soft yoke. 

I first started with scrambled eggs since thoughs could stay heated. I also did two of each type of egg I knew: hard yoke which is the yoke is cook and the egg is flat, great for an egg sandwich; sunny side up, cook till the whites are done and set aside, no flipping required but it helps to splash hot oil to be sure the whites get done; then soft yoke, it's like sunny side up but you flip it so only the yoke is uncooked. It's a bit more challenging since the goal is to keep the yoke uncooked but you can only see what's done, definitely took me some practice when I was younger.

'Well, that's that.' I smile seeing that everything is done. I go to grab the fruit while Steve grabs the pancakes and French toast. We head to the dining room as I call out "Breakfast is done!" 

Steve sat down as I went to grab the eggs.

Bruce POV

Poor Steve. Clint and Tony were really letting him have it. Even Nat gave Steve a quick once over. Knowing Steve though,... I don't think he'd deliberately call her fat. Alivia really seems to like teasing, so I'm guessing she purposely took whatever he said that way.

I look towards Alivia, 'See? She's smiling.'

"You guys want breakfast since your here?" I hear her ask. "As long as you don't mind waiting, of course."

"Sure!" Tony smiles.

"Yep." Clint pops the 'p' while he and Nat nod.

"...yes, please." Steve mumbled. 

"Please." I comment. 'Her cooking last time was pretty good.'

Steve is still sulk... ... more like reflecting, while the group starts chatting with each other. I wondered if she'd make as much as she did last time. If that's the case she'd need help. I turn to her, seeing her smiling at us. 

But she doesn't seem to be looking 'at' us because her smile ...turned some-what sad. At least I think so, she turned around to heading towards the kitchen. I can only assume I'm correct, since she rubbed her face.

I could help but wonder, 'Why?' as she disappears. 'Did we do something? But she wouldn't have smiled then...'

Before I could get too deep in thought, I got drawn back into the conversation.

Tony POV

No way I was gonna pass this up! Capsicale called Alivia fat. Probably not directly, but who am I to let this opportunity go? Certainly not I.

"I can't believe old timer called Alivia fat." I dejectively shook my head, sighing.

"I did not." Capsicale mumbled.

"Even I know not to call women fat!" Clint proudly proclaims.

"I did Not!" Capsicale defends.

"Then what did you say, Steve?" Nat asks, probably feed up with this topic.

"All I asked was if it was too much for her, after our run."

I laughed, placing my hand on his shoulder. "She got you good captain." I have to say, I'm pretty proud of her, that was a good set up.

"Oh." 

We turned to the kitchen, due to Alivia crying out.

After she got our attention, she asked, "Do you guys prefer fluffy or thin pancakes?"

I couldn't help it, "What kind of question is that?" Slipped out.

"Fluffy."  Clint chirped.

"You really don't have to..." Captain replied.

She chuckled, "Both it is then."

'Both?' "Why both?" I asked. 'Pancakes are ment to be fluffy. Who ever heard of a flat pancake?'

"I said Fluffy." Bird brain pouted.

Steve trying to make up...*cough* be a perfect gentleman offered, "That's a lot of work, you really don't have to. Do you want help?" 

She replied, laughing. "Thanks Steve. I don't mind the help, but I don't need it." Then she turned to me, "And Tony, why Not both? Consider it as way for me to get to know you all a bit better." 

'Again with flat..., bigger is better. Bigger sweet bread.' I smirked.

"And Clint... I'm Not fluffy, we discussed this." Alivia stuck out her tongue.

I looked at Capsicale, blushing a bit. Hmm, even she didn't let him off. If this keeps up sooner or later iceberg, just might be able to melt.

Clint and Alivia laughed. 

I'm curious how she'll make the pancakes 'thin' and not 'flat'. There might be a 'secret' ingredient. So I couldn't help but watch. As she was making the batter, she looked a little distracted, even shaking her head. 'I wonder what that's about...' she did continue after that, so I just brushed it aside. Not like it'd be important.

There was a difference between half of the batter, turns out it was just ...milk. The amount of milk to be exact. She halved the amount of milk.

She started on the eggs and that's when Captain stood up and offered his help. Sure she needs it, seeing how much she's making. This time she doesn't refuse, even thanking him with a bright smile. It's cute how she thanks us all the time. 

"Thanks Steve. It really helps."

I couldn't help but sigh, 'She really is a good girl.' 

 I smirked, 'at least she has a fun side. It'd be boring otherwise.'

"It's what I should do. Besides we should be thanking you for making ... all of this." 

I rolled my eyes at Steve's 'proper' remark. Dealing with a stick in the mud isn't all fun and games. It's frustrating to deal with him, constantly.

Listening to them, I find their conversation isn't even interesting right now. It's enough to make me gag. So I go back to the conversation with the other freeloaders... 

'ha ha' I smiled. 'Really putting Furry in his place there. Definitely has good points that girl.'

Steve POV

I'm glad she let me help her. It's a lot for a woman to handle. Also I'm hoping, since she let me help, she's forgiven me. It's odd though.... she didn't mind so much at the time. 

But ...with the way Tony and Clint were at it.... maybe she was just teasing me. I'm not sure, it's hard to tell. I haven't known her long enough, ...and she keeps switching. One moment she's sassy and teasing the next she's a polite, respectful, innocent girl. It's very confusing.

"Oh Steve." I hear, drawing me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm?"

She places a jar on the counter, "Could you use this instead of vegetable oil?" 

It was the jar of bacon fat. I smiled. Sometimes we used bacon fat as a substitute for butter. It's kind of nice to see some people still use it.

Natasha POV

Alivia offered to make us breakfast and I didn't see any reason to refuse. The food she made last time was pretty good. I didn't have a complaint. That, and she owes Steve.

Giving him a hard time in front of those two children. She knows they'd go overboard, after all he never really called her fat. Maybe she just wanted to have some fun.

As I was zoning in and out of the conversation, commenting here and there when needed. I didn't want to deal with the shenanigans of children. 

Even Bruce was ignoring the conversation, so I called out to him. We started talking. After a little while I could smell bacon. It didn't bother me till I saw Clint waiting next to me with a mouth full of bacon. 

'Really, This...' I smacked the back of his head, Hard. 'She didn't even bring it out yet.'

"Hey!!" Clint retorts. "Is this a 'thing' Now?!"  

I stared him dead in the eye, "What do you think?" 

He just swallows.

I smirked, 'Now that, That's done.'

Finally that's done, then I hear Tony whine, "You didn't get me any!" 

....internally I banged my head against the table. 'Children...'

Slyvia had been in the medical bay for a while now and had almost made a full recovery. There were many people in the medical bay from yesterday's matches, who were told to stay overnight so they could get the proper care.

Unlike the others, Slyvia wasn't heavily damaged. Her muscles were just overused from using too much Ki, which would be quickly resolved with some rest. Although thanks to the doctors and Slyvia's own abilities, she was able to recover quicker than most.

While Slyvia was recovering she was amazed to see Gary get called in on a stretcher. Slyvia rushed over to see if he was okay. Just then Gary had just slightly regained consciousness and could see Slyvia threw the small slit in his eyes. He saw the worried look on her face and gave a thumbs up. She straight away knew this meant that Gary had won his match against Harry.

After checking up on Gary and seeing that he was all okay, Slyvia planned to go back up to the arena to give the other's her support but just as she was about to move, she heard a familiar voice crying her eyes out.

"Monk, you idiot, why did you do that?" Martha cried.

The doors to the medical bay opened once more and storming in through the doors were two doctors pulling another person on a stretcher and Martha just behind them.

"Please we need space." One of the doctors said to Martha.

Martha had stopped flowing Monk and the doctors as they went into a private room for treatment. The room was attached to the medical bay and was used for more serious injuries that needed an operation.

Slyvia quickly approached Martha and asked what happened. Martha explained the whole story about her match and what Monk had done. Slyvia could see that Martha was on the verge of breaking down and needed someone to be with her, so the two of them decided to wait for Monk while the matches were still going on.

A little while later and one of the doctors had come out of the medical room. Martha immediately stood up and rushed over to the doctor.

"Is he going to be okay?"

"Thankfully the injury wasn't too serious, we managed to remove the arrow from the body and we're currently supplying him painkillers. There doesn't seem to be any damage to his internal organs so his body should be able to do the rest of the work. The important thing is for him not to move about otherwise the wound could reopen again."

Martha and Slyvia bowed to the doctor as a sign of thanks before the doctor rushed off to check up on other patients. Now that Monk was back in top shape, Martha finally got to have a look at the situation in the medical bay.

"Wow, I didn't realise there were still so many people in here?" Martha said. "Were they really hurt that bad?"

Slyvia didn't find it strange at first because it was the arenas medical bay, so it was expected to have injured people here but what Martha had said made Slyvia think. The injuries of the contestant weren't too bad and even if they were, they didn't have the correct equipment at the arena to treat them all effectively.

There were only so many private rooms like the one Monk had gone too. If their injuries were truly bad, they should have been transported to the city hospital by now.

Slyvia began to walk around and check up on some of the patients her self. She had been part of the medical club for some time now so she had some basic understanding of medicine. 

As she checked on the students, she noticed some students were showing signs of having a serious fever. Their temperature was high and they were sweating like crazy.

Meanwhile, Gary was one of the patients currently on the floor being treated by a doctor. Gary looked like he had completely passed out. He had a tough fight against Harry and just by looking at his body you could tell.

Although Gary's injuries weren't life-threatening so there was no need to take him into a private room. The doctor then pulled out a syringe and placed it just above Gary's arm. Just in case Gary was conscious the doctor was explaining the procedure as he went through it.

"Now I'm just going to administer a painkiller to numb the pain for you first, you're going to feel a small prick in your arm."

When the needle was just about to poke into Gary, the doctor suddenly felt his wrist being grabbed.

"What do you think you're doing?" Gary said.

Gary had been completely unconscious up until this point. While his eyes were closed, he heard a voice speak out to him.

"Gary, you're in danger… you are…. all… in danger."

Then when Gary had opened his eyes, he saw the doctor in front of him with the syringe.

"As I said, I'm just giving you a painkiller." The doctor said with a nervous smile. while Gary's hand was still holding his wrist.

Just then Slyvia and Martha appeared behind the doctor. After seeing the students come down with a fever she quickly rushed over to where Garry was.

Slyvia took the syringe from the doctor's hand and held it up in the air. Looking at the liquid flow forwards and backwards. The liquid was purple in colour and wasn't just moving backwards and forwards like a regular liquid.

If she left the syringe completely still the liquid would move about as if it was alive.

"I demand you to tell me what is in this liquid?" Slyvia said as she stared at the doctor.

"It's already too late."

Suddenly the groans of the students on the floor started getting louder. As if something was trying to claw out of their body.

"What is happening to them?" One of the doctors said as he was sitting next to a patient on the ground.

Some of the doctors were panicking trying to get the students to calm down, while some were just standing there watching. Suddenly a few of the doctors took off their white robes to reveal the clothing of the Dark guild underneath them.

The doctor that was still held by Gary's wrist started to laugh out loud like a madman. Gary picked up his weapon by his side and without hesitation stabbed the doctor right through his heart.

As Gary slowly stood up next to Martha and Slyvia the sight in front of them was unbelievable. The Students in the medical bay were no longer moaning but now were slowly standing up. But as they did, they appeared almost lifeless. The white could be seen clearly in their eyes and they looked almost brain dead. The limbs would flop about as if they had lost control of their body.

The students where currently roaming around as if they were a bunch of zombies.

Sen, the last and most powerful dragon left roaming the skies causing chaos and destruction across the land. When all hope is lost the human race call upon their last hope, a powerful witch. Unable to destroy the dragon the witch uses the last of her power to cast a spell. Sen has not been defeated but has now been reborn as a human. 

How will Sen live his life now as a human who he once despised and saw as weak?

After showering, Izuku used his towel to wipe himself and took out fresh clothes from his inventory.

He unlocked the door and sat down beside Midnight.
Midnight was drinking a beer while sitting cross-legged on the sofa. 
Her clothing was very alluring and her antics were even more erotic and uncomfortable for the young Izuku to bear. 

His heart was beating fast, and his hands were already sweating. He tried to calm himself down by thinking about All Might. 'His muscles... Bleh! I don't want to be as buffed as him!'

It didn't take long for him to relax, and he quickly started enjoying the soft feeling of the fluffy sofa.

He looked at Midnight and asked, "Um... Midnight-san? I hope that this beer isn't from their fridge." 
Midnight looked at him and replied, "So what? I've known Lilian for some years already. I am pretty sure she would allow me to take a beer out of her fridge. Besides, what am I supposed to do here if not drinking? This place is boring and I need to stay here till you decide to leave." she leisurely drank her beer without any care in the world. 

"I am sorry about that.." 

"Don't be, it's a job. It's not like it matters." 

Suddenly, Izuku felt his stomach rumble. He quickly figured that his stomach just growled in hunger, desperate for some food. 

Midnight noticed it as well and said, "Looks like you are hungry. I am as well. Let me make us something." 

Midnight stood up, opened the fridge and took out some eggs and syrup. 
Izuku wanted to stop her, but his stomach protested. He also wanted to see whether she can cook something.

'God. This woman is so wild.' Izuku thought. 

Midnight grabbed a flower printed apron and got to work.
Izuku was observing her from behind while admiring her skills.

'Gotta hand it to her, she knows what she is doing or rather, most women are good cooks, so it's probably only natural.' Izuku thought. 

Midnight turned her head to look at Izuku and she caught him ogling her. 
"Ara. See something you like?" she smiled while expecting him to turn red like a tomato, but instead of doing that, he just nodded and didn't say anything. This caught her off guard and made her blush instead. 

'Why is he so calm?! He was completely bashful in the bathroom!' Midnight thought. 

Izuku was never a bold kid. Of course, he would get embarrassed when it comes to women, but this time, he hadn't even thought of looking at her that way, he simply observed her skills, since he likes to cook as well. 

Izuku continued to stare at her passionately, making Midnight more and more uncomfortable. 
Midnight wasn't able to say anything else throughout the cooking process as she was just too embarrassed to do so. 

'Why do I feel embarrassed?! I am the ultimate sadist. The R rater hero Midnight! He is just a brat!' 

She tried to compose herself, but the moment their eyes met, she panicked once again and turned around in a hurry. 
'Breathe Midnight. It's just a kid.'

After calming herself down once again, she spat out some random sentences. 
'So... Izuku-kun... Are you glad that Nezu sent you the recommendation letter?"

"Of course! For the principal to personally invite me is a great honor!" 
Izuku's eyes shined as he replied in joy. 

Seeing his reaction, Midnight smiled as well and continued with their little talk. 
"So, are you ready for the exams? I've heard you plan on participating in both the recommendation exam and the normal exam. Why is that?" Midnight asked. 

Izuku scratched his head and replied, "Yes, I am really glad for the principal's kind gesture, but I want to prove my skills like a normal student as well." 

Midnight nodded and replied, "That's admirable. But aren't you scared of the tests?" 

Izuku shook his head and replied, "Although the written test will be easy and boring, I am excited about the physical exam where we use our quirks." 

Midnight sighed when she remembered that his IQ is a lot bigger than hers

"Since when were written exams easy you dummy? You are supposed to be scared of failing, not being bored. 
The same goes for quirk examinations. Tons of people fail every year if they don't meet the standards. It's quite a tragic thing. Most of those kids had dreams that they would end up becoming a hero, but after they try the exam, they give up. It's a miracle we even have so many students at U.A. I remember that I had trouble with passing at my hero university. 

Written tests were never my favorites. I flunked the exam even though I studied for so long. They only allowed me to attend since my quirk was pretty strong." Midnight sighed.

Izuku wasn't sure what to say to that, so he just patiently waited for her to finish with her cooking.

"You are making French toast right?" Izuku asked.
Midnight widened her eyes in a surprise and replied, "Yeah, How did you know? I didn't even do anything with the toast yet." 

Izuku smiled and said, "I love cooking, although doing French toast isn't cooking since it's still a basic thing most people could do, I still prepare it for my mom quite often. I usually wake up at 4 am and after my workout, I have some free time, so I just learn how to make stuff and make my mother a breakfast when she wakes up."
*Beep*

A sound of notification rang in Izuku's head the moment he finished his sentence.

Midnight finished her French toasts and prepared them for Izuku while watching his reaction.
'Ugh, she is looking at me weirdly again. Is she after my butt again?' Izuku thought. He clenched his butt out of the instinct. 

He tasted the French Toast and nodded. The strong sweet flavor hit him like a tsunami. 
'The quality is really good. She deserves praise for this.'

He smiled at her and said, "It's really good, I can feel your love for cooking. It's high. You must have been cooking for some years. I knew that you were experienced the moment I saw how you cracked those eggshells and the wa-"
"Beep" 
 Izuku wasn't able to finish his sentence because a certain sound rang in his head once again.
