That night Heidi went to bed later than usual as Lord Nicholas had introduced her to the library in the mansion which was usually locked. It was a narrow room where the three sides of the wall was covered in a rack of books. The library was dark like the passage they had used before getting in to the library. 

The candles that were on the chandelier and the ones near the walls had melted, drops like structure solidified. Stanley, had helped in lighting the candles up. All the books that was in and out looked old. Older than her. She had later thanked the Lord for bringing her here to which he had done nothing but smile. As she had taken her time to look at all the book titles, her eyes had caught sight of a section which was encased in a glass case. Even though they were older than the others and ragged in appearance, it seemed like they were being treasured. The book titles read Feudal of rivals, Origins, Tyrany of humans and vampires, gardening witch and there were few others which were unrelated to another.

Seeing the dark ink splattered on the book she asked, "You have strange collection of books, milord. There are few with ink spilt on them," she moved forward to look at the Lord.

"That isn't ink," murmured Nicholas.

"What?" Heidi asked, who hadn't caught what he said.

"I think its rather late. You can come by another time to the library. Stanley," he called the butler, "Why don't you see Ms. Curtis to her room."

"Yes, master. Ms. Curtis," the butler asked for her and she wished him a goodnight before she left the room with the butler.

Once the butler had seen the lady to her room, he had returned back to where his master was, who was still in the dark library. His Lord was holding a book and reading it whilst he stood in front of the unlocked glass case.

"Humans are strange, aren't they," his Lord spoke, eyes still stuck on the book he had picked to read.

"Yes, milord," the butler replied promptly.

"They have such strange books that hardly makes any sense. How do you think she would react if I told her the truth about this?" he ran his fingers over the uneven book cover and then handed it to the butler

"Ms. Curtis, is honest with her opinions," the butler added as he bent down a little, to push the book back to where it was kept previously.

"Indeed she is. Knowing her she would probably have something to say," he smiled and then continued, "If she plans to visit the library again, which she will undoubtedly, make sure it is in your presence and lock this up," he said looking at the glass case.

"It has been so long since I last brought a book back here. How long has it been?" Lord Nicholas asked thoughtfully.

"Must be four years, milord," and the Lord hummed in response, "If I may add, the black witch's book is one of a quality."

"That's right. Getting the witch's books are somewhat difficult as they aren't sold in every market," the butler smiled at his master's words. 

Black witches books could never be sold, be it in the human land or the vampire land, their very existence was frowned. Any one trying to sell it in an open market would meet the same end as the black witches. But that didn't mean they were never sold anywhere, the most illegal and unethical objects could be found in the black market. Though his master had strings in the black market, the one in the library wasn't obtained from there. Like many other books that were in the glass case, they were picked from the people's house his master had killed. Few years ago times weren't as peaceful as it was now. Bloodshed in public was common and with the witches causing massacre, his master was usually out on a lookout to find the culprits who were causing disruption. It wasn't ink but spots of blood that was etched on the cover of the books. As deranged it sounded, his master was one of a kind and he was proud to be serving him.

"Milord, is it alright for Mr. Lawson to leave Ms. Curtis here for such a long time? Forgive me, but I haven't seen them spend enough time together."

"That's alright. Warren is a little slow but," Lord Nicholas paused, "Have someone follow him. He has been visiting the council and up to the north very often. Cousin or not, I wouldn't want to take risk."

"Yes, milord. Consider it to be done," Stanley bowed his head, "By the way milord," he pulled out two envelopes from his pocket and handed it to his lord.

"Who is it from?" Nicholas asked while taking them and as he read  the name on one of the envelope a smile formed on his lips, "Is it already that time..."

"You have been invited to the celebration of Hallow which is going to take place in less than three weeks." 

"Hm?" Nicholas saw the next envelope was from his friend Rhys Meyers. After reading the contents inside, he handed back the envelope to the butler and left the dark library.

The next day, Heidi sat in the carriage on her way to the Meyers mansion. Mr. Meyers had requested for her attendance at the mansion to accompany his wife only if she would like to. Meeting Mrs. Meyers at the mansion, the lady looked the same as she had seen her before. 

Her black straight hair was tied in a white ribbon. Heidi and Lettice went out to town as the lady had wished to go out shopping.

"I am sorry for suddenly requesting you to come. I am sorry for the inconvenience," Lady Lettice apologized when they reached the town Heidi had previously visited with Lord Nicholas and Stanley.

"Please don't apologize. I am glad that you asked for my company and I wasn't doing anything except for studying with my educator," Heidi replied with a smile on her face.

"I see," she smiled back, her face relaxed than the time  she had seen during her birthday, "How has your stay been in the Rune mansion?" 

"It has been pleasant," Heidi replied as they walked on the sides of the road, "But sometimes it does get dull. Sitting in the mansion and doing nothing. How do you spend your time Lady Lettice?"

Lady Lettice laughed softly when saw Heidi's worried look, "I understand what you mean. In the beginning, I was finding it hard myself. To have nothing to do and spend time inside the mansion but you get used to it. Used to living the elite vampire life. You can call me Lettice. We are from the same background. I don't think we need to use titles."

"Then please call me Heidi," Heidi shared a friendly smile.

[Year 1847]

When the Lord took a step forward, she took a step back. Taking a gulp she said, "You know, what you're doing can be considered as terrorizing."

"Well, I call it persuading."

"I believe you aren't using the right wordbook, milord."

"You didn't answer my question," the Lord was too persistent, thought Heidi to herself. It didn't look like he would let it go.

The year 1847

Heidi was an adopted child, where one of the Duke had been generous enough to take her in.  A girl, who when grew up had no idea that she would be the political bridge between the two empires. A marriage with the East Lord's relative.

Lord Nicholas with his gentle appearance and behaviour made him the White King of the Empire. A man who was the kindest to the souls around him, with only a few who knew what laid beneath that beautiful mask. What happens when a girl is responsible for bringing out the worst and the best out of him? Especially when it's his cousin's fiancee.

When Jayde exited the tower, she was surprised to find White waiting for her outside, he was casually leaning against one of the pillars. Seeing Jayde White straightened up and walked over to her.

"So how was it? What level did you reach?" he asked.

"It was okay, but you could have least have given me some sort of briefing before sending me off to the tower," Jayde said.

"You're not a baby, Jayde. No reason to spoon feed you." 

"True, but good intel makes a difference to the success of any mission, as a trainer is it not your responsibility to ensure your students succeed or are you trying to set me to fail?" Jayde said coldly giving White a flat stare. "I need competent people on my team, and I am sick and tired of your prejudice, if you can't give me your support then it best for us to part ways now, I don't need this shit."

Jayde was fed up with White attitude and had decided that she would longer tolerate his attitude. For months now Jayde had been gritting her teeth and putting up with White's obnoxious attitude, but enough was enough, she had tried to win him over by being an obedient student, but since that hadn't worked, she had decided to stop pretending to be meek and mild. It's about time for him to realize that I am not a pushover, Jayde thought.

White's head jerked back slightly at Jayde snappy retort. So she has finally decided to bare her claws, White thought, about bloody time.

White paused, glancing towards Jayde. "You are right, I apologize" he finally said. "My bad, next time I will give you a better briefing."

Jayde nodded slightly in acknowledgment of White apology. Jayde decided to give White one more chance, but if he ever pulls another stunt like this, she had no problem with severing their teacher-student relationship.

"So how many levels did you complete?" White asked.

"Four."

White's eyebrows disappeared into his hairline. He had figured that with no information about the tower that with her skills Jayde would make it to the third level, so he was startled that she had made it past the fourth level.

"Good, how did the Blood Tower evaluate you?"

"Average, satisfactory, good, and excellent," Jayde replied succinctly.

Again Jayde managed to surprise White, while he did expect her evaluations to increase, he never expected her to receive an excellent rating so soon.

"You did great," complimented White. "How did you manage to receive an excellent rating in the fourth level?"

Jayde shrugged. "Not sure, guess it was due to be completing it in ten days."

White's forehead furrowed. "Your assessment is not just based on how long you take. The tower takes a lot of other factors into your grade."

"Really, such as?"

"Adaptability, preparedness, flexibility, how you engage the enemy, technique, learning curve, just to name a few," answered White.

Jayde and White discussed each of the levels in the Blood Tower on the way back to her cottage, during their conversation Jayde figured out how she managed to achieve an excellent rating in level four. The creatures on level four were attracted to fire and light, so every evening when Jayde had made camp she had unwittingly been luring the monsters out to attack. The tower had given her bonus points for this.

Jayde cursed herself for not picking up that her fire had been luring the creatures, she had written off the nightly raids as part of the tower's test. Can't believe I made such a rookie mistake, Jayde grumbled to herself. Thinking about how many times she had drilled it into her cadets never to make assumptions, she was feeling slightly embarrassed that she had fallen into the same trap she always warned her young cadets about.

"It's going to be a lot more difficult next time," White said interrupting Jayde's thoughts.

"Huh? What is?" 

"The Blood Tower, now that it's got more data on your capabilities, next time it's going be more challenging. Also don't expect such great rewards, after level five you only receive pills and potions, treasures will only be rewarded at level ten, twenty, thirty, and level forty, and no one knows what you receive for passing level fifty and completing the tower."

"Hmm."

Jayde wasn't disappointed after hearing about the treasures in the tower. She was happy to finally have a place where she could practice her martial and magic skills, that she could fight alongside Yinxin and Reiko was a bonus as far as Jayde was concerned.

Jayde waved goodbye to White once they reached her cottage. Jayde spent some time chatting to Yinxin, Isha, and Reiko and showing off her cloak. After playing with the three hatchlings for a while, Jayde and Isha strolled over to the Pavilion. Jayde wanted to see if she could find any books on how to strengthen her armor without using runes on the inter-dimensional market.

On the way, Isha and Jayde discussed the next upgrade to the Proteus artifact since Isha had sold the latest batch of herbs Jayde now had five thousand two hundred points. The two of them decided that Jayde should purchase the alchemy room as potions and pills were more profitable than herbs, and Jayde needed the training.

After purchasing the alchemy room for a thousand points, Jayde navigated to the herb garden upgrades to see what the next upgrade would cost. Jayde was surprised to see that under herb garden upgrade, this time the screen didn't have an upgrade by a small arrow indicating a submenu.

Tapping on the screen to open up for herb garden upgrades, Jayde let out a small gasp at the number of grades now available. Reading through the list Jayde noticed that she could purchase a level four upgrade for six thousand points, which would upgrade the herb garden to sixteen acres, she also had a choice of purchasing single acres for a thousand points per acre. 

There were also different types of terrains available, such as frozen, desert, and swamps to name a few. But the real surprise was that Jayde could now purchase time distortions, which would increase the time difference between the pavilion and the herb garden. Each increment was eight hundred points. Since Jayde had four thousand points left, she immediately purchased five increments, which would bring the herb garden time increase to fifteen times the time outside the artifact.

Going back to the herb upgrade menu, Jayde then tapped on the seed section to see what sort of seeds were available for purchase, while she had spent most of her points, she wanted to note down the costs of seeds for future reference. Shit, these seeds are expensive, Jayde thought as she noticed that rare seeds were over three thousand points for a small packet of ten seeds.

With only two hundred points left, Jayde navigated to the inter-dimensional market to have a look at the books available. Happy to see that this section was neatly organized Jayde spent the next hour going through various sections. Unfortunately for Jayde, the prices of the books on the inter-dimensional market were high, Jayde hadn't expected that these educational books would be so pricey.

Jayde finally managed to find a book that suited her needs, {The basics of armorsmithing and tailoring}. The seller had been decent enough to upload a few excerpts from the books, and after reading through them, Jayde was happy to note that the book had many methods on how to magical reinforce armor using various ingredients. The book also stated that it contained detailed images of the plants and metals as many of the dimensions had different names for the same items.

The seller wanted a hundred and fifty points for the book. Wincing at the price but determined to get the book Jayde tapped on the buy button. While Jayde waited for the system to deliver her book, Jayde turned to Isha and informed him about the upgrade she had purchased for the herb garden.

While Isha would have preferred more space, he agreed with Jayde analysis that having herbs grow quicker was the better option.

"By the way how is the hamadryad doing?" Jayde asked.

The corners of Isha's eyes crinkled. "It's only been three days," he said amused.

"Oh right, I forgot," Jayde said sheepishly. Although one couldn't blame her, Jayde thought, it had been over three months for her.

Just then the inter-dimensional market pinged, indicating that Jayde book had arrived. Bending down Jayde opened the slot and retrieved her book. Jayde's eyebrows shot up at the heaviness of the book. Looking at the thick leather-bound book in her hands, Jayde was pleasantly surprised. Must be two or three thousand pages, Jayde thought.

Opening the book, Jayde paged through a couple of the pages. Jayde immediately saw that the paper used was of excellent quality, and the illustrations were extremely detailed. Happy with her purchase, Jayde waved goodbye to Isha before returning to her cottage.

He first bought the Survival Book and left the rest for a while. He's warehouse is still full of supplies that can last their group for 5 months. And he's still not sure on what is the <Guild Toke> but he naturally know what it means but he will try to search for information first, if there are any. 

Originally he planned to survive by himself but now his mind has changed. He thought to himself

This is my first writing a novel. There are many grammatical errors but please be kind with your words and point to me what to do and lastly I just write what pops in my mind so stay tuned silly.

I was in the mountains of Norway when there was a landslide. I tried to escape as best I could but I wasn't fast enough so I got caught in the landslide and since then it's been pitch black. After waiting for what seem thousands of years, I arrived in front of a huge golden door and what I saw will remain in my memory forever: a golden sky full of stars, Valkyries, real Valkyries that can be found in the myths on Earth. What the hell am I doing here? I'm not hallucinating. Suddenly a voice woke me from my stupor.
"As you can see, you have entered Valhalla. A person standing next to me shouted                            
- Isn't this just a legend we are told when we were children?                                                                
-No, it really exists as well as the Greek or Roman pantheon but as you are the descendants of the Vikings, it is normal for you to return to Valhalla at the end of your life. When I saw this object I was astonished because something so small is going to decide the profession that one is going to have for eternity. Like any child minded person I wished I could fight the ice giants and all the supernatural monsters that can be found, so I was looking forward to my turn and here it is at last.

After having thanked him I left in the direction of this small rocky path. After a good half-hour walk, I finally saw my future home and when I saw the state of my house I got angry. It was dilapidated, there were holes in the roof. Is this how the Asgard treated the loggers? Speaking of lumberjacks, I looked away to see if there were any and no there were none, he had lied to me.
So I started by fetching wood to rebuild my house, but for that I needed an axe. So I went into the warehouse and what I saw saddened me all the axes were rusty. But how is that possible why? First the house, now the equipment, what am I going to do? So I tore a piece of fabric from my T-shirt and wrapped it around my hands to avoid injuring myself and took the axe which was in the best condition.
With my axe I went to cut down trees to get wood but as I was in a fantastic place, the trees were not going to be normal. Indeed, these trees were easily more than 500 metres high. "How do I cut this off ? I was already struggling to cut trees less than 20 metres tall with a chainsaw and now I was dealing with trees 25 times that size and I only had an axe to cut it with. Instead of feeling sorry for myself I should find a solution. If I cut branches, I could use them to plug holes in my house.
So after two hours of hard work I managed to cut 4 branches. 
"okay with that, I think I can fill in the gaps in my house." 
So I went to work and by nightfall I was able to fix the house, well, almost. I needed a good night's sleep and without knowing it when I fell asleep, I found myself in front of the character sheet again.

It was strange because a new information had appeared and it symbolized Saga, Saga as the story the heroes create. But mine was strange because I couldn't see it. So I wasn't paying attention to it, that will surely change with time.
The next morning I woke up and I was very hungry. I had to go to the market to buy groceries, so I went to look in the house to see if there was money but nothing. So I had to sell things so I could buy supplies. So I looked for what I could sell, and so I took the only bits of stick I had left to go and sell them. With my burden on my back I set off for the market to sell or exchange my wood for provisions. Once at the market, I left in front of the vegetable and meat stalls and after much persuasion I had enough food for about 3 days if I was careful. I was starting to leave when something caught my attention it was a book with Saga written on it, so it made me think back to what happened yesterday, so I went to the manager and asked him
"Hello, could I have that book for two pieces of wood ?                                                                      -
Yes he is yours" and he gives me the book.
After shopping, I went home because it was getting cold and I had to take refuge. So I came in and put away my provisions and ate, I sat on my makeshift bed with the book in my hands.              
"Show me what you're going to teach me";
 I opened the book and I was shocked because I learned that the Saga is a supernatural power that you can gain according to the actions you do or have experienced in your life, The book cites the example of Brir who was a very common warrior who was struck by lightning but he survived so he won the Saga son of Thor and since then he has the power to manipulate lightning. I was all excited at the idea of having powers but I calmed down right away because I was just a simple lumberjack so what Saga was I going to win? Well, it's time to go to sleep.
But he didn't know that in his sleep something that would change his life was going to happen.

In a world where one can gain power by writing their Saga by fighting or by a special action.

Chapter: Tuesday/Sunday

While Ren is planning what to do in the barren lands, he remembered the all-purpose hoe he received from the God. So he tried to search for it and found it lying under his bed.

When he grabbed the hoe, a panel appeared in front of him.

[Welcome to the interdimensional market.]

Those words greeted him and he is shocked because he saw a floating panel in front of him.

"D-do you see this?" Asked the shocked Ren.

"Yeah I could see it." Yoruichi said.

[Would you like a beginner's crash course of the market?] The panel asked.

"Yes." He said and a voice spoke through the head of the two.
 
It told them the basics of the trading system. You could put up items for sale or auction. You could buy items in the panel as well, there are also designated sub-panels if you want specific items. 

There are also trade panel where you can trade item for an item. There is even chat box where you can speak with the owner of the item through telepathy. 

The market also doesn't allow scamming because doing so will cost your life and the items you are trying to sell and the item you scammed will be given to the opposite party. (It is like the trading house of Dragon Nest but with trade boxes and chat boxes.)

[What would your community name would be?] It said and another blank panel appeared.

After thinking for a while, he just puts in his name.


[Invalid the name's already taken]

"Err. What do you think I should put in?" Ren asked Yoruichi.

"How should I know? Just put whatever you want." He said.

"Hmmm. Ren101? Uhhh invalid.... Ren001... invalid again... Ren123456... Invalid as well? FarmerRen. Oh. It got accepted." Ren heaved a sigh of relief after the community name got accepted.

After his community name got accepted, he then stared at the massive panel in front of him and there's a blinking notification in the corner of the panel as he clicked on it.

"Oh, someone sent me a trade offer. Accept."

A panel opened up with two windows. One of then is his and the other one, when Ren looked at who wants to trade to him, it was the overseer.

"You have finally joined the community." The overseer said.

"Its you again. Did you do something to me again? My head's a mess and I can't remember a single damn thing!" Ren sent his thoughts to the overseer.

"It was an accident. I didn't do anything at all." The overseer said.

"Anyway, since you have finally made it to the market, I'm giving this to you. I didn't give it to you earlier because you don't have any storage bags or rings at that time." The overseer said and a book appeared in the overseers trade window. When he put his fingers on that book, another panel appeared as it showed what book it is.

"Farming101? You're a God, right? Why don't you just transfer the knowledge to me?" Ren asked.

"Why should I? I don't gain anything with that trade. You get this book from me for free because it is inappropriate to send you with a book. If you want more you have to give me something of equal value. Its should be a basic rule especially for an alchemist like you." He said.

"Fine. I have already clicked accept. Lock it from your side." Ren said and didn't say anymore because he doesn't know the price of trading with the overseer and he doesn't know the prices of the goods up for sale as well.

The overseer locked and accepted the trade and a panel appeared saying that the trade was successful and before the overseer disconnected, Ren asked him since he knows a lot more than him plus his memory is basically gone because of another accident.

"If I ask a question is there a payment?" Ren asked.

"Of course. A question is 100 points each." He said and Ren disconnected from the overseer.

Ren then claimed the traded item and a book appeared in front of him and he grabbed it. He doesn't want to focus on getting seeds right now because basically, he's a beginner in terms of growing crops.

"Is that the book, that guy gave you?" Yoruichi asked.

"Yep. Looks like I have to read this from now on to at least have some basic knowledge on farming." Ren said as he opened the book.

What he saw inside is a table of content. The book was split into three sections, basics of farming, what you need to know about the land, and lastly, crops.

Ren didn't think twice and immediately flipped through until he reached the second section, about the land. He tried reading it from the start.

"Land pollution refers to all forms of pollution affecting any type of soil: agricultural, forestry, urban, etc. Soil pollution is a disruptive element for many biological resources and ecosystem..." Ren read through the book and finally found his answer.

"To cure land poisoning, you must extract the poison or chemicals from the ground. There are two ways to solve land poisoning, the long way, and the short way. The long way consists of taking a land sample and studying it and trying to find out something that would counteract the poison within the land. Or you could use the short way, just pour a drop of sap of rejuvenation into the land to purify it to the roots." Although Ren had found his answers, he still continued reading it for hours. 

Yoruichi just lied down on his bed, not seemingly bothered about Ren who keeps on reading as he lit a lamp and continued reading the book.

After reading for hours, he felt tired. He didn't feel hungry because he's eating the fruits they gave him while reading.

Ren finally decided to call it a night as he blew on the flickering light of the lamp and laid down as he closed his eyes to sleep.

Meanwhile, after confirming that Ren has slept, Yoruichi on the other hand transformed into a slender and well-endowed woman of average height. She has dark skin, golden irises, and black hair. She took one spare clothes of Ren from the table and their size exactly fit each other. 

She then continued jumping all around mount Myoboku. Yoruichi is currently mapping the entire area out. There are three points of interest for Yoruichi at the moment. A cave entrance, Toad Town, and the elder's house. But Yoruichi's curiosity led her to enter the cave entrance.

She cautiously entered the are and so far she didn't see or feel anything dangerous at the moment. When she reached the end of the cave, she saw a huge toad sitting in a high chair with waterfall in his back.

"What can I do for you little cat?" Asked the Great toad sage.

"Looks like you really can see the future." Said Yoruichi.

"Indeed. Although what I can see is only bits and pieces of it." He said.

"Tell me about this world. What are these things I perceive floating in the air?" Yoruichi asked for information.

"You are indeed not from these world. I don't think you're from Kaguya's clan. The boy isn't either." The great toad sage said in amusement.

The great toad sage then obliged as he told Yoruichi about chakra and shinobis but he didn't tell about chakra's origins and the nature chakra. 

He could tell that Yoruichi is perceiving nature chakra but he didn't tell her because simply absorbing them without any form of training could be deadly to anyone.

"Telling all this information, what's in it for you?" Yoruichi asked.

"The boy that's been with you might bring destruction or save this land from impending doom. I wish for you to guide him through the latter." He said. When he tried to see Ren's future, he saw two dreams, the first one is Ren sitting cross legged on the chakra fruit tree and is waiting for it to ripen while the second dream is blurry he can't see much the only thing he saw is Ren emitting light under such dark sky.

Hearing the great toad sage, Yoruichi can't stop laughing as she laughed hearing the Great Toad Sage's request.

"Ahhh, sorry. Its just that I find it funny. You think a mere prediction of the future can depict the path Ren will walk into? He will walk his own path with or without anyone's guidance. He might be naive at first glance because he lost majority of his memories but his instincts guides him on what he wants to do and what he doesn't." Yoruichi said as she went out of the cave and return to Ren's house.

"So who are you, old man and what can I do for you?" Ren asked the floating old man in front of him.

"Fret not, child. My name is Hagoromo, the founder of ninshu." The old man said as he introduced himself.

"You said you want to be immortal? I can help you with that. I have the elixir of life processed from the sap of Tree of Life." 

"Oh, you also want me to provide some corpse? I can help you with that. You see that tree over there? My killer tree over there has managed to kill so many thieves who were aiming for my garden."

"You want me to provide you with meat for your village? Sure, I've got tons of magic beasts being guarded by my pet."

"Oh, you want to kill me to take everything I have? I have a seed that can take all the nutrients of the land in your village leaving it barren."

"My background? I'm just a farmer. Farming in this land. Don't mind me. Look, i'm just planting seeds over here."

"Alright," Sheri said. When they are at the western gate some of the young ladies, were chuckling while looking at them.

Sheri finds it very amusing and almost wanting to chat with the young ladies. Lou Xi slaps the back of her head again.

"Don't think about it." Lou Xi said and run.

Sheri is so irritated she chases the crown prince. Sheri already folded her sleeve and wanting to punch the prince when suddenly her father arrived. She stops and looked at the father of the owner's body.

"Nuan, stop playing and go inside. I asked your teacher to come since you are well enough to peep on other's business."Qiang said.

Sheri was amazed how did her father know, nevertheless, Sheri can feel the man in front of her is not ordinary. She compliantly said yes and went toward the study room and the prince was smirking at her. Sheri was irritated again, but her father was on her back.

Sheri sits down next to Lou Xi and starts reading attentively the book they have. When Sheri starts reading, she was overwhelmed. They were like poems and when she opens the books of the military. She was very drawn. Sheri has extensive knowledge of the modern strategy but the book she's holding is an ancient one.

Lunchtime. Sheri finished the book of war and was intrigued. She looked at the prince. At a young age, he defended the border and drives the enemy away. Sheri is thinking about how genius and brave a kid like him. The prince amusedly draws close his face to her face. Sheri's habit is pondering over thinks and didn't see the young prince come close toward her. Sheri snaps from her thought when the prince blew breath in her face.



She was shocked and push him.

Sheri on the other was shocked and immediately slapped his hand.

"This kid," Sheri thought and was speechless. After a few minutes of composing her self. An idea pops in her head to give a lesson toward him without endangering herself.

"Your highness. Do you want a duel? I think I can prove to you that I'm a man." Sheri said.

"Hahaha, no need I know your skill is higher than mine." Lou Xi said.

Sheri's one eyebrow raised. According to the book, his skill is higher than her father.

A gentle knock sound at the door and a servant carries the food.

Sheri was looking eagerly at it and was naturally delighted. This will be the first proper meal since she arrives here. Yesterday was all soup and she had already enough.

Upon hearing the man's voice the boy then runs quick to the man's caravan with an exited expression written on his face while waving his small hands so that the man can notice him. The old man then stare at the boy and ask "do you know how to read?" the boy was speechless at this point for he know to himself that he doesn't know how to read but he really wants to own a book so he said "yes I know how" the old man then open the first page of the torn small hand size book and said "try to read this for this old man has a bad eye on reading" the old man then hand the damage book to the boy. The boy hold the book with his small both hands here he sees a brownish color of the page in the book and the letter that have a color black inks. He tried to read the first word in the book but he was so blank that words wont came out on his mouth. The boy grabs tightly the book and said to the old man with a fear in his word "to be honest sir I can't really read" the old man then said to him with a calm expression "I know that you can't read but boy you don't need to lie about it" he then smile. The boy then bows his head and returns the book to the old man with a sad expression written in his face. the old man then return the book on where it was place and said to the boy "boy try to learn how to read then I will let you buy that book that you just hold a minute ago" the boy was sad and slowly raise his head "but sir how can I learn to read if no one will teach me" the old man then reply "find opportunity boy I know that you can find one and if you know how to read just try to find this old man so that you can buy some books". At this point the boy was so excited and very eager to learn how to read so he say farewell to the old man and run but before the boy can run far enough the old man shouted and said "boy I forgot to tell you my name is Wendolf!! Remember that boy" the boy didn't really hear what the old man said but he was happy and smile are written on his face. The boy continues to run on the way of the farm for he need to help his father in the farm before noon. Upon running the boy again see again the old man that was begging for food and he also saw lot of people that have swords in their back negotiating some goods in the market after he pass through the market he stop and try to catch his breath. There the boy saw a stick to fulfill the boys curiosity he grabs the stick and swing it like a sword and he continue running while holding the stick on his right hand. After running the boy saw a small farm there he saw grains and corn while his father was using a hoe a smash it on the brown ground so that it can fertile the soil. The boy then shouted "father father" while waving his hand his father then notice that someone is calling him so he turn his head and look to the direction where it came from. There he saw his son running while waving his left hand while his other hand is holding a stick. After some minute his son come near him and try to copy what's his doing by using a stick. He said to his son "Alron your becoming strong every day look at you. You smash the soil using your wooden stick" the boy then looks his father with a proud expression and continues to smash his stick to the soil. The sun is tired and it was falling as sleep the surroundings where becoming dark on the farm there's a lot of people falling a line to get their pay of two silver for it was payment time. In the line there was a young boy that have a dark color hair and wear a peasant cloth holding the hand of a muscular man that have dark hair.
