After hearing his suggestion, everyone also nodded and Jun began to become nervous as he never had done that before. Not to mention, he cannot be selfish and take all the good parts to himself nor can he give the parts randomly. Jun then opened this mouth, "let us write the lyrics first."
Slowly, while stopping for every few seconds, Jun wrote all the lyrics of the song and then said, "Minho, all these rapping parts are yours." As Minho wrote all of it down, Jun put a cross mark on those lyrics and looked at other parts while playing the song multiple times. The parts with high notes are obviously his. And carefully, he divided the parts in half an hour.
Looking at the time, Jun said, "guys, there's still more than two hours left. Let's do this." All of them nodded, "yes."
One and half an hour later, with a smile on their faces, the group went to the Production department on the sixth floor and went to Producer Sujin cabin. As she saw them, Sujin asked, "Did you all memorize the lines?" As Jun and others nodded with confidence, Sujin became surprised, "are you guys telling me that you all managed to memorize all the lyrics?" Jun and others looked at each other in confusion and Taemin asked, "Sujin sunbae, aren't you the one, who told us that?"
Sujin replied, "I only said to divide the parts by your selves. You can just note down and sing looking at it. No need to memorize the line, now though. Don't tell me you guys skipped the language class and practiced until now." As they looked at each other once again, Sujin waved her hand, "anyway, let's hear it. Sing it for me, now."
Four minutes later, Sujin, who was smiling widely from the start, clapped, "everyone did a great job. Although you three, Taemin, Dohyun, and HaeSeong made mistakes in the lyrics, I'm impressed. Still, there are many parts, which need to be rearranged. In my opinion, I'm sure you all can pull it off better than Galaxy."
"Eh? Galaxy?" as everyone was surprised, Sujin said, "by now, you must have known about the news, right?" Jun nodded, "yeah, we just saw a couple of hours ago. It is really a surprise for me, how their manager didn't stop and even actively participated in it."
Sujin sighed, "It's regrettable but we can't do anything about it. Anyway, you don't need to think about them and think that your group got lucky because of that. Along with this, there is one more song I that wrote and composed for Galaxy but it was never shown to them. Just today morning, I was told to write, compose, and produce for your group. With two more, you'll get to release four songs at the same time during your debut. So, pleasure working with you."
As Jun and others also bowed, Sujin asked, "Come to think of it. I forgot to even ask the important thing. What's your group name?" Jun replied, "Actually, the Chairman told us that we can pick our name by ourselves but we haven't decided yet. We thought it would be better after getting a song."
Sujin smiled, "ok, now that you got the song, then, think of a group name soon then. To try to distract the people from the scandal, you all going to debut way earlier than you imagine."
After that, they went directly to their apartment and just sat together on the sofa in the living room. Jun then asked, "So, anyone have any ideas?"
Taemin then replied, "how about Strikers?" Everyone instantly turned towards him. "What? Isn't it cool?" as Taemin asked them, Minho replied, "We are not choosing a baseball team here."
Taemin then said, "how about the Universe?" Minho, once again, objected to it, "nope. It sounds like Galaxy." Then, Taemin began suggesting a bunch of words continuously while Minho kept on objecting it. As he got tired, Taemin turned to Jun, and asked, "Hyung, do you have any names in your mind?" As Jun thought about it, all he could think about names like BTS, EXO, GOT7, Shinee, Super Junior, etc… He shook his head, "no, none I could think that fit our team.
Then, HaeSeong stood up and said, "Actually, I already compiled a list of names ready with me for a while. There are around 50-60. I saved them on my laptop."
Minho then spoke, "oh, great. Why are you silent all this while? Copy it to pen drive and bring it here, immediately. We can connect to Television and look over them to decide which one is better." Then, Dohyun spoke, "I also have a bunch of names in my mind." Minho replied, "good. The more, the better."
Jun then stood up and spoke, "guys, how about this. We each choose two of the best names in our mind and gave to the company. They will choose an ideal one, fit for us." Taemin nodded, "hmm, yeah, let's do that. Even we go through the list, we might not get into the same page and unnecessarily quarrel over it."
The next day, in the early morning, as Dohyun, Minho, and HaeSeong were asleep, Jun and Taemin went to the Gym, which is at the end of the street. Jun never went to the Gym used by idols in the Block after that minor incident. Entering the Gym, while Jun is on the treadmill, increasing his speed, Taemin was training his muscles with weight lifts. A while later, looking at time 05:45, Jun stopped running and walked towards the showers to fresh up and clean his sweat.
After returning from the shower and changed his clothes into his usual loose full t-shirt, he saw Taemin was still exercising and he's doing Barbell bench press, right now. Looking at the weights, Jun walked towards him with a laugh as he increased it again while the trainer is warning him not to do it. As he reached him, Jun said, "Taemin, listen to him. he's right. You are light-weight. 200 Lbs is too much for you."
Taemin replied, "c'mon, Hyung, let me try. You should also try weights. Otherwise, how will you gain enough muscle? We are going to be stars. We need a good body to show it off." As Jun shook his head with a smile, Taemin used all of his strength to lift it successfully, and spoke to the trainer, "don't worry, I don't need help here."
Seeing his good, as the trainer walked away, Jun saw the nerves appeared on his hands and Taemin's face became red. While he was about to laugh, Taemin begged him slowly, "Hyung, please call the trainee. I can't lift it anymore." Jun smiled and stood behind his head and grabbed the weights and then said, "now, leave your hands." Taemin shook his head, "no, it'll fall on my handsome face." Jun replied, "just trust me and release it, okay?"
After slowly releasing his hands, he immediately moved away quickly and rolled on the floor once before standing up. And then, saw Jun put down the barbell slowly without any strain.
Stupified Taemin stepped forward as Jun put down the weight, and he touched the upper arm, which he felt it is hard as a rock. As he grabbed the upper arm, Jun stepped back in a surprise, "what are you, doing, Taemin?"
Taemin was shocked looking at his hand that was only able to grab half part of Jun's upper arm, which explains his biceps. He asked in a surprise, "you weren't skinny?" Jun blinked at him in silence and then asked him, "didn't you ever check my height and weight during health checkups?"
 

A huge fan of Kpop died in an earthquake that occurred at a concert and was transmigrated into an Alternate world that is completely identical to his past world with only one change.
There are no popular groups like BTS, TWICE, EXO, etc... nor do they have agencies like JYP, YG, SM, etc... Axion's P.O.V.

    Singing. That's what I hear as I stand before a vast lake in a forest clearing. The sky is clear blue with tufts of white cloud here and there. The lake is calm and there's a breeze blowing. The singing is so soft and melodic. I close my eyes and sigh at how serene it makes me. Like there are no worries in the world. I can't exactly make out the words that are being sung, but even so just the sound is peaceful. I follow it, wanting to find the source. I travel around the lake and soon see a grassy path worn down from much use. I follow it and am delighted to hear that it's getting louder. When I'm quite deep in the forest I can make out that the singing voice is female. 

    I start to jog for who knows how long before the lyrics start becoming clearer to me. She's singing about love. About someone stealing her heart. About finding true happiness and finding her soulmate. It seems like an hour before I find a woman sitting upon a fallen log along the path. Her back is to me and she doesn't seem to hear my footsteps. I don't say anything and continue to listen to her singing. 

"Here is my heart,
please keep it from harm.
Wrap it in love
and give it your charm.
Fill it with joy,
passion, and pleasure.
Don't let it get lonely,
tame it with laughter."

    When she stops I'm disappointed. I want her to go on, but instead, she turns to look at me, not at all surprised or startled. She gives me a smile, "Hello there, youngling." 

    "H-hello," I reply shyly. The woman is beautiful. Everything about her is flawless. Her skin and face and posture. It's elegant and sophisticated. She moves with a grace that is genuine, like she learned to move like that and perfected it when she was young. She has her long black hair braided to the bottom of her back. Flowers are woven into it. She wears a simple coral pink dress. She's barefooted and has a friendly air to her. She doesn't look much older than me. Her lips are a natural pink that accents well with her skin.

    "Come sit with me, you have nothing to be afraid of." She pats the spot next to her on the log. I walk over and take the seat. "I have something I want to tell you, Axion."

    "What is it?" I know I'm dreaming. That this isn't real and it's all my imagination. I go along with it anyway. 

    "I want to give you some advice about your mark," she gestures to my hand. I look down and gasp. My glove is gone and the mark is different. It looks as if it grew from what it was, as impossible as that is. But this is just a dream so it may not be real. The mark now twists and curls along my forearm from the back of my hand, spiraling around my wrist. "Yes, now that you've awakened, your mark has transformed along with other things as you will find. But I must tell you something very important."

    "What is it?" I ask confused.

    "Your mark has special abilities, but there is one that I need to tell you about because the Elder doesn't know about it. It's something only two of the mark holders have."

    "Mark holders? There's more like me?"

    "Yes, but another time, alright?" I nod. "Your mark is special, Axion. There is another similar to it on a boy. You'll meet him in the future. But there is a saying about them, 'When the two marks, like two halves of a heart, meet and intertwine, they will call to each other when they are in need the most.' Remember this, because it will be very important to you. It'll help you discover happiness when it seems like there is none."

    "What do you mean?" 

    "You will see. I cannot tell you more, sweet Axion."

    "But-"

    "I have to go now, but I will visit you again soon, youngling." The woman stands up and faces me with a shining smile. "Goodbye." She turns and walks in the direction of the lake.

    "What's your name?!" I blurt out.

    She pauses without turning. "They call me....Lilith." She turns again and then the dream washes from my vision suddenly.

Axion has never really known what she wanted to do in life and when she turns 18 she is faced with this question. 

Her whole life she has lived in Cobblestone, the biggest town in Kunari, and has never left. Her mother struggles to keep food on their plate while Axion is shunned by everyone else around her. No one wants to go near the girl with the strange tattoo, something she was born with. 

Axion always wondered what it meant while also longing to see other places. She had read many books on the other realms and of mystical places. Floating pieces of land in the air and a glass Castle in the sky. Other races and exciting adventures. She wanted to see and do it all. 

In Desistar, however, a sinister evil is lurking and waiting for it's moment to seek revenge. Slowly, gathering knowledge and planning. What will hapen to the realms? And what does Axion's tattoo mean?

Chapter Song: "On My Honor" by Cindy Dasch, or maybe the author is unknown. I read something that said Cindy Dasch is merely the person who wrote it down, and it has been sung by Girl Scouts for far longer. I'm claiming fair use on two lines of lyrics. Actually, who knows what the original lyrics are. They're a little different everywhere you look.

Rare Grammar Fact: If you're writing a monologue that needs to be broken into paragraphs, open new paragraphs with a quotation mark but leave off the closing quotation mark until the speaker is finished speaking.

Chapter 34: On My Honor

Once back in the suite, Seto strode to the nearest bed and collapsed there, not bothering to disrobe. Joan took off his boots while Mokuba climbed onto the bed, peering over him in concern. "Big bro, are you all right?"

"Yeah, just haven't done that in a while," Seto admitted.

Joan joined them on the bed. "How did you do that anyway?"

"We experimented with neural interface technology a while back," Mokuba explained. "It was awesome at first, but then Seto's headaches kept getting worse, so we cut the program. We kept some of the wetware in place just in case we had another run-in with some creepy mage or something."

"Hm." Joan snuggled up to Seto, her head on his chest and arm around his waist. She wanted to know more but remembered Laura's warning about that Shadow Realm stuff and decided not to ask.

Mokuba continued the story without prompting, recounting Seto's obsession with defeating an ancient pharaoh in a duel and the havoc that ensued from tampering with magical artifacts. Seto grunted in occasional corrections to Mokuba's narrative but otherwise let him explain everything about their adventures in the past. However, instead of talking about the Shadow Realm and Millennium Items like Joan expected, Mokuba focused on an artifact called the Quantum Cube. Apparently, the Kaiba brothers had been through far more encounters with magic than Mokuba could cover in one evening. Somewhere in the middle of the story, Seto drifted off to sleep.

Not quite tired yet, Mokuba and Joan got up quietly and headed to the living room couch. Mokuba finished his tale of the Quantum Cube with an arm around her and spent a few moments in poignant silence before saying, "It's weird, but this hotel kinda feels like home now."

"That's not so weird. Home is wherever the people you love are. Even a university lecture hall can be home if someone you love is there," Joan replied.

"I guess you're right. It's not just that, though. I feel like I've lived more in the past week than I have in the past three years."

"We can find more meaning in a campfire's glow than we ever learned in a year or so."

"Huh?"

"It's from an old Girl Scout song."

"Sing it," Mokuba requested.

Joan pulled up some lyrics to "On My Honor" on her phone and sang it for Mokuba. By the end of the song, he was shaking to hold in tears.

"What is it?" Joan asked softly.

"I never had that kind of stuff in my childhood. It's been Seto and me against the world for as long as I can remember."

Joan held Mokuba tight. She'd been expecting this from him at some point but somehow still didn't know what to say. By comparison, her childhood had been a fairy tale. Sure she'd never actually owned a pony, but she'd ridden horses a few times at camp and there were so many other things she'd gotten to experience with various groups of friends. Mokuba, on the other hand, had probably maintained professional distance from people after his run-ins with creeps wielding magical artifacts. Joan had never had cause to fear others until adulthood when she'd overheard her coworkers talking behind her back. Perhaps she should start there. "You're not the only ones against the world anymore."

"How so?"

She stroked his hair as she spoke, as if he were the one reliving her traumatic memory. "I found out about polyamory when I was nineteen, and at twenty, I had a summer internship with a big publishing house. I'd recently met Michael and a few other guys through a dating site, and some of the guys I worked with were really hot, so I was getting around.

"It wasn't the guys I was actually dating that I had to worry about, though. It was the guys I didn't date . . . and the girls. The girls were even worse. The guys just peed in my coffee mug and put tapioca pudding in my cycling shoes, but I heard the girls talking poison. I told my boss, but she didn't care. So I started drinking less coffee and taking my mug with me on the few bathroom breaks I took, because I always had to check over everything when I got back to my chair, especially the chair itself, for sharp objects.

"My office sweethearts chickened out and stopped dating me, but I still had Michael through it all. I lasted through the end of the summer, but it wasn't easy. I had no friends in the office, nobody until the very last day when I had a one-time fling with my boss's boss."

"Was he taking advantage of you?" Mokuba asked.

"No no," Joan grinned. "I told him upfront that I was interested. He was the hottest man in the building and on top of that, he was also a Michael."

"You really have a thing for M names, don't you?"

Joan giggled. "Not really. It's more of a coincidence."

Mokuba thought for a moment. "The other workers, though. Do you want to pursue legal action against them?"

"If only I could go back in time to collect evidence, but I have no fingerprints, no recordings, nothing. Even if I'd thought to record that stuff about the poison I overheard, they'd already stolen my phone and pretended to be me and told Michael that I was breaking up with him. We sorted that out quickly once I told Michael they stole my phone, but it still sucked."

"I can only imagine," Mokuba said.

"Yeah, but it brought us closer in the end. Michael said it helped him get in touch with his feelings, you know, like how Seto reacted after that shit with Pegasus. My point though is that the next time you and Seto go head-to-head against the world and you need backup, you've got me, and I've got Michael and Marc, so in a sense you have them too. It's a whole network, actually."

"You mean like how Nathaniel is suddenly our nephew?"

"Yep."

"That's pretty cool."

"My friends are your friends. Your friends are my friends," Joan sang to the tune of "This Land is Your Land."

Joan and Mokuba both burst into giggles.

"This is amazing. I've never met someone who just sings whenever like we're in a musical or something."

"Then you need to meet my friends from university. André writes songs, so there's music in their house every day. They live on Wendy Street, so they call their place Neverland."

"Aw man! I hope Seto doesn't start calling them the nerd herd or something when he finds out. I mean, he seems like he's gotten over a lot of his inhibitions where you're concerned, but I wouldn't push my luck with other people."

"All right. Just you for now then. Friday night we stay at Neverland and then Saturday we'll go to the Blooming Planet Festival."

"OK," Mokuba grinned, "if you'll come to the charity ball Thursday night."

"Charity ball?" Joan asked.

"It's kind-of an after party for the Summit. Most people fly home Friday, so they scheduled the ball on Thursday."

"Sounds good, as long as I get to dance with both of you."

"Don't you mean all three of us? I set Marc and Laura up with tickets already."

Joan squealed with excitement and pawed at Mokuba's KC belt. "Get inside me now!"

"Whoa, can we at least get to a bed first?"

Joan sprang up and towed Mokuba into the vacant bedroom. She stripped off her bottoms and grabbed a condom from her purse but didn't bother with her top. Mokuba dropped his jeans, and Joan stroked him to stiffness while he pulled his shirt off. She pushed him backwards onto the bed, slipped the condom on, and mounted him. Only then did she bother removing her shirt and bra. Her breasts bounced freely as she rode him into the night.

When CEO Seto Kaiba propositions Joan, she expects a one-night stand, but he and his brother keep coming back for more. Now the Kaiba brothers want an heir from her and will pay any price to get it. How do Joan’s husband and boyfriend feel about her new profession? More importantly, how do they handle public scrutiny?

"All of you are going to shine on there tonight?", asked JYP

"Yes sir!" replied the group in unison.

"Are you all going to have a successful debut stage!"

"Yes sir!"

JYP took a deep breath and yelled, "Then go and rock the stage!"

Jaemin, acting like a real leader, said, "Alright, come on boys."

They all stood in a circle, stuck out their hands and performed their motiviational cheer, which they desperately needed. "... 1,2,3 GOT7!!!!!"

Jinyoung spoke up, "Guys, don't be nervous, debuting isn't as hard as you think, just think hard about what you practiced."

Jinyoung and Jaebum had already debuted as JJ project in 2012, they had more than enough experience. Jaemin was also not very nervous, he had been on the stage more than the others.

Their debut was on the M! Countdown show on the 14th of January in 2014. They would begin with their intro that Jaemin had improved by a bit and perform Girls, Girls, Girls after that.

The song itself hadn't changed much, the choreo and the music video however, did change quite a bit.

Of course, Youngjae wasn't there. He was replaced by the devilishly handsome Jaemin with a voice as smooth and soothing as sweet honey after all. 

The lyrics were also divided a bit differently, meaning, other members had other parts of the song.

Jaemin mostly had Jaebum's lyrics, while Jaebum mostly had Youngjae's lyrics. It didn't make a lot of difference due to the extended use of autotune, but the difference was still noticeable if you listened to the original version.

Their version sounded better, no doubt about that. Jaemin's voice was the main cause.

His voice....

His singing was like whiskey, smooth with a slow burn that lit peoples' desires up from the inside. Which desires will depend on the person, and a little bit of imagination.....

The group headed towards the stage and waited before the decor would come into play.

A countdown went off in their earpieces,

"5..."

"4..."

Jaemin had to admit, this countdown caused his nerves to go haywire. His anxiousness was literally having a heated debate with his confidence inside of him.

"3..."

Jinyoung said, "We can do this everyone, let's make it a debut to remember!"

"2..."

"1..."

Jaemin whispered a funny joke in a perverted manner so that the others wouldn't be so tense, "We will make the audience climax because of our performance, hehehe"

They all grinned a bit.

"0..!"

The intro started playing and their debut stage had officially begun.

The world now had another Korean boy group in it's in its midst, 

GOT7.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OPPA'S SARANGHAEEEEE!!!!", screamed a young girl after the performance

"JACKSON GEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", yelled a Chinese girl

"They were..... ok", said an unimpressed fan in the back of the audience.

The rest were all smiles, Mark, Jackson, BamBam, Jaebum, Jinyoung, Yugyeom were looking at each other like they had just won five million dollars.

Jaemin however, only heard this one loud cheer of the Western fan right in front of him, or rather, beneath him.

A whole group of about nine Western fans were in front him, it seemed they all came together. The rest was all Korean or of Asian descent.

She screamed in a hoarse voice, "JAEMIN-AHHHHH, DESTROY ME DADDY!"

It was then that he realised, what a sasaeng fan actually meant.

He never understood them, how could someone go literally crazy because of some pretty dude that was dancing and singing? He knew that people could really be moved when they saw him, he felt the same way in the past whenever he saw his beloved idols.

But screaming this right in front of them....

That was just too far.

He looked a bit closer because he was curious to see the faces of his fans. Especially those of the foreigners, racism was still quite the issue in Korea so you wouldn't often see such a big group of them at a debut show. He was suprised to see that a group of foreigners actually came here.

That aside, that action just now was actually nothing compared to the actions of other sasaeng fans. Koreans and people from other parts of Asia were just as crazy.

From what he heard, those female fans even wrote letters in their period blood! Or they broke into their houses, implanting camera's everywhere!

It definitely rang some bells for him, he had to be wary.

They all bowed a few times and left the stage, where JYP and their manager were waiting for them.

JYP said excitedly, "You did well boys, no mistakes, as expected."

The stylists, managers and even some of the members of 2PM cogratulated them on their successful debut.

Jaemin responded, "The next stage will be even better'"

Hey guys!

It's been a while, I haven't been able to post chapters for this novel for so long.....

I kind off hit a block with this one, not knowing how to continue. 

Which came to be mostly because of my writing style, it has changed a lot since then.

This novel was mainly pre-written, and as my writing quality and way of writing differed from the original standard of this novel, I kind off wanted to rewrite the whole thing, but I changed my mind.

I will keep making chapters for this novel until I am satisfied, the updates may be slow, but I will at least get this novel out of it's two month hiatus.

The quality will get better, that's something I can assure.

He was not happy and the Elders can feel it...

FLASHBACK

"Luna Darling why not sing for us" Luna's grandmother Eva Cheung requested her precious Moon. 

"My granddaughter is a very good singer Louie" she added. Louie just smirks as he already knows that it is not true….. Sofia told him that Luna pretends to be a good singer.

"The song you will sing for us will be your wedding song darling…. It will mark as your wedding vows to each other" Jane Chen said to Luna. Luna just nodded; she stood up and went to the stage and ask the band to play there that she will sing, she gave the title of the song.

END OF FLASHBACK

Louie: "I remembered now... Luna used to sing a song after we got married…. On that day she sang our wedding song. Grandmother Jane told us that it will mark as our wedding vows to each other."

Kim: "What's the song, Louie? Maybe through that song, we can have clues about her identity nor where we can start finding her."

Louie: "I don't know the title but I can recall some lyrics."

Yuan: "What's the lyrics, Louie?

Louie: "That you won't say goodbye. Just tell me how you feel, I don't know what you're thinking anymore And if you need me, you'd kiss me Then tell me how you feel And if you want me, you'd show me That your love is for real And if you love me You'd hold me in your arms where I belong So while I'm feeling strong I sing you one last song."

Ethan: "As I remember Louie….. Even though you are married to Luna you never treated her as your wife…. She has never been your top priority…. But you were always hers. The relationship is meant everything to her... your marriage. Even when you broke her heart into a million pieces, she remained strong and compassionate."

Kim: "Yeah….. As I remember Luna was too naive to believe your sugarcoated lies. She kept telling herself you will change, you just need some time. She gave you many second chances, and all you did was neglecting her."

Harry: "And now you are telling us that you love her? That she was your wife and she was your?! My God Louie…. You deserve to be like this."

They shook hands and left for home with his grandparents.
           Sometimes it was irksome to be so obedient to his elders. With this feeling, he suddenly realized something really really very bad inside him that time. An argument between his mind and heart began. 
            Was he becoming a rebellious youth? But why? Was it because he was dying to hobnob with his dancing partner?
          Was his heart pulling him to be an evil guy?  I refuse to be rascal with my grandparents who has been nurturing me from infancy and until now. How shameless and grateful was I, should I become troublesome.
            My poor old grandparents, my heart was starting to dislike your over protectiveness for me. My brain.... don't you... ever... listen.... to my heart!
            Gosh! My body was torn down by my heart and mind. What should I have done? 
           He heard his subconscious mind that told him to blame the arrow of Little Master Cupid that mistakenly hit your heart bullseye. Not us, your heart and mind. 
            His heart beat up and down, up and down, in and out, in and out like the anal of those chicken strutting at their wide yard.

          There was no more reply. He assumed that she was already asleep on that memorable night.
          It was already three at dawn when he was able to sleep. His too late sleep affected his usual waking up time. Loved and cared by his elders, they didn't bother to wake him up until quarter to seven in the morning. It was okay for him to be in school at seven thirty in the morning skipping the flag ceremony.
              What was more  important? He was not absent on that day.
              It was the day he started coping up with the lessons he missed and with his shortcoming as a group mate in their research work written output. 
             He had to be ready with what his group mates asked him to draft and research if he wouldn't like to have  a poor mark or a failing mark.  After all, he wouldn't like to be the disgrace of his family.
             Time and days flew so fast making his each day very busy. Nevertheless, at the midst of his hectic obligation and responsibility as a student, a well-taken care of by his grandparents, and God's beloved child, he had never forgotten to send a text message to Ms. Leonor.

           "And why was that?"
            "I still want to be dancing with you."

He had to be strong-willed through an incessant confession of his Pulsating heart... Only for her....no other maiden could have her heart quaver like an earthquake shaking the earth at a magnitude so strong of more than six or seven. 
                 It was February 28...fourteen days from the day they danced..he would sent him the lyrics of the popular song by a Filipino singer and song writer a stanza each day. 
               For the first day.. he sent him this stanza of 'Buwan' by; Juan Karlos Labajo
               Ako'y sa'yo, ikaw ay akin
               Ganda mo sa paningin
               Ako ngayo'y nag-iisa
               Sana ay tabihan na 
               He translated it in English:

              He did not text anything but these lyrics that he translated in English language. 
             Ms. Leonor was at a lost for words how to reply an adapted lyrical message from him. So, she just texted back honestly that her astonishing feeling  gave her nothing to say. 
             He did not reply back that day. But the following day, he sent him the second stanza with an English translation.

"Let's go back together. I'll treat you to dinner."
"Looking like this? What am I eating, dust? Besides, who knows who's treating."
Meng Fan helped move the furniture around and slipped out immediately. He left the cultural center and called a cab, arriving at his apartment eight minutes later.

He was so nervous which was ridiculous, he had been talking to this girl for over a month and with they any they met I find it hard to believe that anything worse could happen today.

"What's the time?"
"Two minutes later than you last asked,"
"You're not helping," he frowned.
"You're worrying too much,"
"I'm freaking out,"
"Why don't just walk over there?"
"What if we're too early? What if they don't come?" He froze.
"Dude, would you calm down? You're just meeting a girl for lunch," I frowned.

"Come on, let's walk over there,"

I was hoping by walking the 15 minutes that some of his nervous energy would fade, or at least the sound of the city would drown out the sound of him.

          "Should we get some lunch?" I asked as the nerves had caught up with me. I could feel the shaking in my hands.
"Sure," she nodded.

Thea: On our way, be there in five.

I sent Jackson a text message as we headed towards the food court, as we were going up the escalator I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.

"What's wrong with you?" Charlie frowned.
"Huh? Nothing," I shook my head as my phone vibrated.

Jackson: We are upstairs, we already ordered food so just come on up.

"Okay, what's going on?" Charlie raised an eyebrow.
"Nothing, are you hungry or should we just get something to drink?"
"Just something to drink, I don't want to dance on a full stomach," she shrugged.
"Lemonade?"
"Vitamin water," she shook her head.

I got out drinks and started walking towards the stairs. Charlie frowned st me.

"Why are we going upstairs? We only have drinks and I thought you wanted to do some shopping?"
"I just want to sit for five minutes," I shrugged.

CHARLIE
          Something was definitely going on, normally Thea is worrying about the time and making sure that we're not late. She was also way too nervous to not be up to something.
I followed her up the stairs, a guy sitting at a table next to the window waved at her shyly. He was sitting next to another guy who looked kind of familiar, actually, they both did.

"Why is he waving?"
"Because we're meeting them here," she gave an awkward smile.
"And you didn't tell me because?"
"Because I knew you would say no,"
"You could have brought BM,"
"Have you seen BM? What guy is going to want to date me after they know he's my best friend?" She raised an eyebrow.
"So you thought manipulating me into a double date would be a better idea?"
"It's not a double date, and I didn't manipulate you, I just didn't tell you,"
"Two guys, two girls; double date,"
"No, Jackson and I are just meeting in person properly and you and his friend are here for moral support,"
"I'm not sure why you would need moral support when you don't have any morals," I sighed.

I wasn't happy about it, not in the slightest and I could have left but I knew how nervous Thea was and if I left she probably would too. So I let out a sigh and followed her.

MARK
          "Hey," the girl I assumed to be Thea waved awkwardly standing a foot away from the table.
"Hey," Jackson nodded nervously.
"Ah, this is Charlie," Thea smiled introducing her irritated looking friend. she was prettier in person than she was in her Instagram photos.
"This is Mark,"
"Hey," she waved again.
"You can sit down," Jackson cleared.
"Oh right," she laughed nervously.

Thea looked as nervous as Jackson but was trying harder to seem like she was fine which really only made her look more nervous. Charlie looked like she had been sucking on a lemon, I'm guessing she didn't really want to be here, and if her attitude didn't give her away, then the fact that she wasn't really dressed for what was, for all intensive purposes, a double date, sure did.
Most of her outfit was mesh, she had a tight cropped top on over what I guessed was a mesh bodysuit, black stockings that stopped halfway up her thighs, and black shorts that I'm pretty sure were actually safety shorts that you wear under short shirts, or short shorts so that you don't show off anything you don't mean too. I'm sure that's why she had the grey and white plaid shirt tied around her waist. I'm not saying she wasn't attractive in it, it's just not exactly something you would wear to lunch, more like a club.

"We ordered some food," Jackson gestured to the plates in front of us.
"I think I'm too nervous to eat," Thea stated the stared wide-eyed, I assume she didn't want to say that out loud.
"More for Mark and Charlie then," Jackson shrugged with a smile.
"I'm not hungry," Charlie shrugged, she was leaning back in her chair, arms over her chest. Clearly, she wanted everyone to know she didn't want to be here.
"Then why did you come to lunch?" I frowned, a little annoyed at her attitude.

CHARLIE
          He raised an eyebrow at me, he was dressed like a douche, plain white shirt, denim jacket, black snapback on backwards. Of course this was the guy that Jackson was friends with, Thea thinks she has found the perfect guy and his friends is a total douche nugget, and of course, I was tricked into so weird double date. This is why you don't so nice things for people.

"I wasn't aware of the fact we would be dining with people," I retorted.
"She didn't know?" Jackson asked Thea.
"I'd asked her to come but she hadn't answered me so I just didn't tell her you would be here," Thea shrugged avoiding all eye contact with me.
"I'm sorry," Jackson apologized for Thea. The look on her face was the same look she gave BM when he did the same thing the only difference here was she bite her tongue.

BM
          Sam was sitting on the floor under his bed with stacks of notebooks and loose paper surrounding him.

"What are you doing?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Shush," he frowned continuing to read the paper in his hand.
"Okay," I nodded.
"Dude, shush," he huffed.
"Yeah, god BM can't you see the man is trying to read his diary?" Jae commented coming up behind me.
"He doesn't keep a diary, like some people," Coco added slumping onto the lounge.
"Basically love letters to a girl he has never actually confessed too, sounds like a diary to me," Jae shrugged.
"They are not love letters," I rolled my eyes.
"What would you know?" Jae frowned at me.
"Would you guys go away?" Sam sighed.
"Are they love letters?" Coco raised an eyebrow.
"They're lyrics, to songs that I've written," Sam sighed again.
"So, yes, they're love letters," Jae mumbled.
"Stop being a dick," Coco smacked his shoulder.

SAM
          "Sorry," BM gave a small smile before ushering the other two away.

Jae wasn't exactly wrong, most of these songs were written with Charlie in mind, with different feelings. Some were curiosity, some were from when I felt like it was a crush, and somewhere from some strong feeling, I felt, both good and bad. So in a way, these songs were kind of like my Charlie diary, a one-sided conversation she hadn't heard and wouldn't even know as about her. But it helped me work through my feelings and they were good relatable songs. Perfect for a band.
Charlie was right, this band was probably the closest thing I was going to have to music in a while. It was definitely going to make me miss guitar but it was better to miss guitar while still being a part of music than to not have either.

"We're going to go get some lunch, do you want to come?" BM asked. 
"Can you bring me something back?"
"You're not hungry?" He frowned.
"I'm starving, but I'm trying to organize all of this and I don't want to leave it halfway through,"
"Why is this suddenly so important?" Jae frowned.
"Because if I'm joining a band then I need to be contributing somehow," I shrugged.
"You're joining a band?" he raised an eyebrow.
"You knew I was going to band practice with Leo,"
"But I didn't think you would actually join his band," Jae continued to frown.
"Why do you care if he joins a band or not?" Coco asked.
"Because he's my guy, who am I supposed to busk with?"
"Technically you make him set up and do a few songs to draw an audience, you don't really busk together," BM pointed out.
"Are you going to take his place?"
"No,"
"Then shut up,"
"Dude, you're currently forming a band," I stated.
"Maybe I was going to ask you to join my band,"
"Where you?" Coco raised an eyebrow.
"Are you kidding me? We're both lead vocal, you can't have two of those in one band,"
"Also his voice is better than yours," she smirked.
"Okay, rude," they stated bickering with each other.
"I'll bring you something back," BM stated.

THEA
          Charlie was so mad right now, honestly, if I had of known that Mark was going to be a total douche then I wouldn't have tricked her into coming, but Jackson made him out to seem great and I didn't see the harm, until now.
They were all but glaring at each other across the table, as if I wasn't nervous enough now I was worried about how awkward the atmosphere was and how mad Charlie was going to be when we left. She wasn't exactly fun to be around when she is mad, especially when she is mad at you, she is actually a little frightening.

"Why don't we eat?" Jackson suggested.
"She doesn't want to eat," Mark commented. I frowned at Jackson, he just shrugged, he seemed to be as confused as I was.
"Dude, what's your issue?" Jackson tried to ask quietly.
"I don't have an issue," he shrugged.
"Are you seriously all pissy because I don't want to eat lunch with you?" Charlie frowned.
"Don't flatter yourself, I could care less if you ate with me, but you would think with your friend being nervous and on a date, you could be a little more supportive,"
"Okay, one, we're not friends. Two, you're one to talk, you're actually attacking me right now, and three, even if I wanted to eat something, that looks like it would melt a volcano so why would any sane person choose to consume it?" 
"I think you're just coming up with an excuse to not eat," Mark muttered.
"What?"
"I'm just saying girls like you, usually have an eating disorder," he shrugged.
"Girls like me?" she raised an eyebrow.
"Mmm," he nodded waving his hand up and down gesturing to her body.
"Excuse me?"
"I'm just saying that you don't look like you ever eat,"
"And you look like you hand out at a skate-park all day but can't actually skate," she retorted.
"He can skate," Jackson commented.
"I don't hang out at a skate park all day, I actually have a job," he looked at her accusingly.
"I have a job,"
"I mean a real one, that pays taxes,"
"Seriously?" Charlie snapped.
"Dude, what's that supposed to me?" Jackson frowned, confused.
"He's insinuating Charlie is a lady of the night," I filed him in.
"Not just the night apparently,"
"Dude," Jackson frowned.
"Whatever, even losers are allowed opinions, even if they are wrong," Charlie said, looking away from the table. She was just getting more irritated and Mark wasn't helping but I'm sure he already knew that.
"We actually have to be somewhere tonight, so we should probably get going,"
"Off to work?"
"Are you worried you'll see me when you go and hire your entertainment for the night?" she raised an eyebrow.
"I don't pay for sex," 
"So is that **** or stealing?" Charlie challenged.
"Oh my gosh, we should leave now," I sighed.
"I'll text you later," I waved to Jackson as we left.
"What the hell?" I frowned at Charlie as we walked away.
"Don't you what the hell me," she retorted.
"You didn't need to be so rude,"
"You ambushed me with a double date, how exactly did you expect me to react?"

JACKSON
          "Sorry man," Mark stated as he continued eating.
"It's not really your fault, Thea shouldn't of surprised her friend," I sighed.
"Her friend is kind of a bitch," he mentioned.
"You did basically call her a prostitute with an eating disorder,"
"I said girls like her, she's the one who decides to take it personally," he shrugged.

Thea: Hey, I'm sorry about that. She isn't normally that rude, I shouldn't have ambushed her.
Jackson: He doesn't normally get like that either, he would have just been silent and ignored her. I don't know what's wrong with him today.
Thea: Sexual tension? haha.
Jackson: They would be perfect for each other, wouldn't they?"
Thea: Only one way to find out.
Jackson: Sounds like a plan.
Thea: My birthday is next week, I'm having a party on the Saturday, you should both come.

"Did you see the way she was dressed?" Mark mumbled to himself.
"She's a dancer, I'm pretty sure she has a show tonight,"
"Doesn't she need more clothes to be taking them off?" he commented.
"She'snot even here to defend herself," I frowned at him.
"Just because she wasn't aware of this lunch doesn't really give her the right to be rude, there are other ways to handle it than having an attitude," he continued, ignoring my comment.
"You're really not going to let this go?"
"Let what go?" he shrugged as if he hadn't been ranting out it.
"I'm just saying that you two were already nervous enough, she didn't have to make things worse so that they left early,"
"You say that like you didn't help her make things worse?"
"Whatever," he shook his head.
"You really don't like her?" I raised an eyebrow.
"What gave it away?" he frowned at me like I was an idiot.
"I'm just saying, if you actually hated her then you wouldn't be wasting your time getting mad about it," I shrugged.
"That's the dumbest theory I've ever heard,"

JAE
          "Yo Bro," I called out when Thea and Charlie walked through the bar door. Thea frowned at me.
"Not you dwarf," I frowned back.
"Is BM upstairs?" she rolled her eyes at me.
"I'm not his keeper," I shrugged.
"You're such an ass,"
"Are you guys just sexually frustrated with each other?" BM commented coming out of the storeroom.
"That's disgusting," I dry heaved.
"No, disgusting is see you two make out," he added.
"Seriously?" Thea snapped at him.
"If you guys are coming to my show tonight you need to get ready, I have to be there in an hour and a half," Charlie commented dropping into the seat next to me.
"I've got to man the bar tonight," BM shook his head.
"You're leaving me alone with that?" Thea pulled a face at me.
"Just don't make out, Sam doesn't need that and it will distract Charlie from her performance,"
"When are you going to let that go?" Thea snapped.
"Uhh, never,"
"I'm going home to change, do you need anything?" Thea turned to Charlie. Charlie just gave her a look, Thea nodded and turned on her heels.

Charlie looked pissed, Thea was quick to leave the room so I was assuming that the surprise double date had gone exactly the way I'd expected it. BM went back into the storeroom to continue with stock take.

"How was your date?" I raised an eyebrow.
"You knew about it?"
"Hey, no, I found out about it this morning. Would I have let you blindly walk into that if  I'd of known in advance?"
"You are a dick,"
"I'm also you're bro," I pointed out.
"I guess,"
"So how did it go?"
"You thrive on drama huh?" she frowned at me.
"It's where I get my energy," I nodded.
"The guy was a total dick," she began to tell me about what had happened. The more she told me the more I hated the guy. How dare he insinuate she was a whore, that's only okay when I do it, or Thea, but it takes one to know one.
"Rude," I frowned.
"Right!" she sighed.
"What a tool, do you want me to fight him?"
"You would die," she raised an eyebrow.
"Not in a mental fight," I shrugged.
"What are you going to do? Insult him until he cries?"
"If that's what it takes to defeat him,"
"I think you're confusing real life with a video game," she sighed.
"No, if I was I would have threatened to shoot him,"
"Dude, you suck at first-person shooter games,"
"No, I suck against you because you've found a way to cheat and won't tell me,"
"I don't cheat, you just can't play," she frowned.
"That's what a cheater would say,"
"You're an idiot," she rolled her eyes, but she was in a better mood and that's really all I was aiming for. 

Charlie was the closest thing I had to family, I mean I have parents but I don't see them often and they don't really know me as well and Charlie does, she's like a second brother. I joke and insult her, but I would kill someone for her, or help her cover up a murder. Not that I would ever tell her that. 

SAM
          "Hey," Thea wandered into the lounge room. Jae and BM kept interrupting me so I'd mad BM bring me and my piles of paper and books back to the girls' house.
"Hey," I nodded.

I had finally gotten some organisation, I had finished songs, half-finished songs, melodies, lyrics without melodies, verses, and just music lines. I didn't realise how much I actually had until I'd started going through it.

"What are you doing?"
"Figuring out what songs would work for a band,"
"Oh, are you coming to Charlie's dance show tonight?" she asked even though she knew the answer.
"Yeah,"
"Well, I'm just here to get changed and then we are going to head up there,"
"Okay, I'll get ready in a minute," I nodded as I started packing the paper up. I knew if I left it out either the cats or dogs would get into it and because this is old work I didn't yet have a digital copy which means these are the only copies I have.
"No problem," she nodded.
"So how mad is Charlie at you?" I smirked slightly.
"Don't even go there," she shook her head walking away.

BM
          "So why aren't you coming tonight?" Jae frowned at me.
"Because I could only find someone to cover this shift one day this weekend and I need tomorrow off,"
"Why?"
"Thea's burlesque show," I shrugged.
"Ew," he visibly shuddered.
"She has a show tomorrow?" Charlie frowned.
"As far as I know, I wrote it down so I could work it into the rosters," I nodded.
"Why? Who actually wants to see her dance around half-naked?"
"I'm pretty sure you do," Charlie commented.
"That's disgusting,"
"It's okay, you can tell her I forced you to go so you can continue to pretend you hate her," Charlie patted his shoulder.
"You say that like I'm going,"
"You are going," she stated.
"Why?"
"Because you're in love with her,"
"And she's our friend, we should go and support her," I added.
"She is not my friend, and I am not in love with her," he defended himself.
"Sure you're not," Charlie nodded.
"Are you jealous?" He countered.
"If you're not friends then why did you pull out the photos of her being fat and throw them out?" I challenged. 
"You pulled photos out of the Polaroid box for her? My god you really do love her," Charlie stared at him shocked.
"I did not,"
"I watched you do it," I nodded.
"So you get her drunk, pull out the photos she hates from a box that has a strick 'DO NOT REMOVE' rule, and then you make out with her? Who are you?" Charlie shook her head.
"Why is this on me? We were both there,"
"Yeah but she went on a date today, clearly she isn't hung up on you like you're hung up on her," Charlie stated.
"I actually hate you, people,"

Charlie and Thea live fairly simple lives, busy, but simple. Charlie is an aspiring Zoo Keeper who juggles work, study, and hobbies. Shes more into one night stands or casual flings than actual relationships both Due to the convenience and her distaste for most people. She's not one to look or involve herself in drama but it is often hard to avoid when she lives with Thea; who is a short tempered, over dramatic, and slightly accident prone, chef in training. 

It's not that Thea goes looking for drama, though she is usually the source, she is just someone who doesn't like to sit still and often gets bored in her endless stream of relationships which usually results in her picking fights until they break up.

The two barely keep each other sane, but some how manage with the help of their douche trio of friends; Sam, the quiet dreamer, Jae, the sarcastic shit stirrer, and BM, the adult child.

Their simple and mostly drama free lives are turned upside down the day Thea literally runs into Jackson who was in no way prepared for what she would do to his life (and probably mental state). After being set up by Jackson and Thea,  Mark and Charlie embark on a winding road of tactics and mind games resulting in Charlie turning her reasonable quiet life into a raging vortex of confusion, drama, and heartbreak.

Funny how one small thing can change your entire life.

Nalan Chunbo's gaze flickered towards the girl who was busy chatting and cooking with others, then he looked down and continued doing his work without responding to Uncle He.
The children of the fishing village formed groups and played around the beach. The atmosphere was very lively.
It was past seven o'clock when dinner was finally ready. The dishes were arranged nicely on two long tables. No benches were prepared so everyone could just eat whatever they liked around the tables. There was no need for them to sit down at all.
It was very casual dining.
It was their annual harvest celebration so the villagers' laughter and chatter filled the air. Nalan Chunbo walked to the piano they had prepared earlier and stretched his fingers. Wen Shan was already there. She stood on the staircase and smiled at the audience. "Erm, the both of us have nothing to contribute for tonight's feast, so we decided to perform for all of you as entertainment."
A round of applause was heard. Wen Shan searched for the song that she wanted to perform, then put it in front of Nalan Chunbo.
Nalan Chunbo did not respond.
Wen Shan smiled brightly and said, "This one, this one. I want to sing this song."
There was only sheet music without a song title so he did not know what song it was. He could only play the song based on the sheet music given.
Wen Shan cleared her throat and started singing.

Wen Shan had a musical voice and was very talented in singing. However, the song lyrics made Nalan Chunbo pause, and his fingers slowed down over the piano keys.
Nalan Chunbo raised his head and his gaze met Wen Shan's. Her eyes were shining brightly as usual but there was a hint of sadness in them.
Nalan Chunbo's heart sank. He had hurt the girl.
He had been trying to avoid it but it had still happened in the end.
Once the song 'Confession Balloons' which was dedicated to him ended, Wen Shan purposely avoided Nalan Chunbo's stare and smiled at the audience. "This is our special gift to all of you."
"Well done!" The villagers were very supportive and gave them thunderous applause, also reminding them to enjoy the food.
Nalan Chunbo observed Wen Shan who jumped down from the staircase to join the villagers. Her smile was so bright and joyful.
His lips curved upwards and his fingers started to play the piano keys gently. A soft and soothing song filled the air.
Bai Ying caressed her cat while observing Nalan Chunbo playing the piano. "What happened?"
Although Bai Ying did not know what had happened, Nalan Chunbo had grown up under her care since young. As his aunt, she still could tell if his mood had changed whenever he was having a problem.
Nalan Chunbo had never told Bai Ying about the whole incident and he strongly believed that his uncle did not reveal anything to his aunt in the letter as well.
Once Nalan Chunbo finished playing the last note, he turned to Bai Ying and reassured her, "Everything's fine. It's just that traveling to many places made me realize that my previous lifestyle was too tiring."
"If you don't feel like telling me, that is fine, but your sister is worried about you," Bai Ying cut him off, knowing that he was lying.
Nalan Chunbo looked down to hide the emotions in his eyes. He was fully aware of Ye Yuwei's worry, which was why he was so reluctant to return.
