Our poor protagonist Wulin is forced to be created in many different scenario's, often with his family being dead, because familial love is hard to write.
This novel is just all of the story plots that I have come up with, using inspiration from other novels and such.
I believe that our hive mind is better than my own pea brain, so I thought it would be fun to get everyone's opinions and build a story plot together.
I will begin writing one of the stories once I finish my current project, Douluo Dalu: Wulin's Legend.

Magical Wands: A Cornucopia of Wand Lore is that textbook from The Isles of Skye School of Magick. The first chapter begins with a basic overview of magic wands followed by an introduction to magical theory including the four planes of existence (Astral, Spectral, Physical, and Daemonic), the five metaphysical elementals (Quintessence, Air, Fire, Earth, and Water), and the three preternatural phases of Light, Twilight, and Darkness. It also contains sets of the commonly used spells associated with each of these elementals and phases. The first chapter then describes the different types of wands, their components, how they are crafted, and how they are used to cast spells. Chapter two teaches the 17 principles of wand making. Chapters three through six comprehensively cover the materials used to make magic wands including magical creatures (both beings and beasts), magical woods, mystical crystals, and mystical metals. Chapter seven documents 26 famous and infamous witches and wizards, their wands, and how well their wands suited their needs. Chapter eight concludes the textbook by nicely summarizing the contents of the entire textbook. Each of the chapters ends with student exercises, the answers of which are included in the back of the textbook which also includes a glossary, references, and afterword by the editor.

"Bloodline shifting is another common form of bloodshifting. This one is also common to see in novels. Generally speaking is one of the most innocent methods of shapeshifting lore out there however I will be starting with the exception and a beautiful extreme of this. For now, Exclude dragons from this chapter as the methods dragons use in most lore will be addressed in future chapters." Eranoth clicked on some epic music by Brunahville. 
"There are four main ways to get Bloodline shifting into a story. The first is 'unnatural'."
"To give you two extreme example of this, Lets_Get_This_Rice's Devolved: Path of the Beast and Authorwiz's Reborn: Evolving from Nothing are heavily focused on this type of shape shifting. They use an 'acquiring method' to then create bloodline bloodshifting. However, as a side note there is actually more to it than just this type of shapeshifting and I will be bringing them up again in the future."
"I congratulate them both in being able to pull it off so well. A continuous bloodline absorption and application are not easy methods of shapeshifting to write. It is easy to accidently rush a story of this nature."
"Some (Not all) key points to remember when involving yourself in the unnatural bloodline shapeshifting are these:
First: How do you acquire more bloodlines? Most will use the blood, life force, or some other magical factor to acquire bloodlines. Blood is the most common.
Second: Is there a limit? If so, remember your limits. Setting a limit and then discarding it without an explanation can hurt.
Third: If there is a limit, Is there a means to discard bloodlines to replace them? Most will have this as an option because it is painful getting your character to their limit and realizing you have a lot more story you want to write. 
Fourth: How quickly does the mind adapt to the transformation? Most types of transformations require a transition period as the brain has to figure out how to work different muscles and body parts. Let me ask you, if you suddenly had a wolf head when you didn't before would you be able howl? Or would it take practice?
Fifth: What restrictions are in place? Restrictions are important so you don't ruin your story. Also be clear about your restrictions. If you need to break past your restrictions for the sake of the story, there should be consequences. 
Eranoth stretched as it has been a long day filled with typing. 
"The second, more common type of bloodline shifting is 'natural bloodline shifting'. This is the one I referred to as one of the most innocent types of shapeshifting earlier. 
"This type of shapeshifting would be a creature born of more than one bloodline with the ability to shift between the two (or more). If we jump back to werewolf lore, a naturally born werewolf (from certain lore) won't have 'corrupted blood'. They are werewolves and they can control their transformations (humanoid and wolf bloods). These existences cannot be considered human afflicted with lycanthropy as they never were truly human to begin with they just have access to a human bloodline."
Eranoth paused to pull up discord to see if he had been accepted into the author's chat yet and was disappointed at his own impatience. 
"Among the different types of shapeshifting, this type of shifting is actually one of the easiest to write without lore breaking. As a side note: This is a type of shapeshifting called 'Form Shifting' This one comes with pre-determined rules that have very little variance."
"First: The creature must have the proper bloodline to access the form. It can't go from human to Godzilla because it has a salamander bloodline. A werewolf can't turn into a housecat for espionage."
"Second: Pure-blooded creatures cannot use this form of shapeshifting. A pure blooded creature doesn't have multiple bloodlines to transition between."
"Third: Not every mixed blood creature has to have it. As an author creating a specific species with this ability and excluding others is completely normal."
"Fourth: There is usually some sort of supernatural force at play. For a creature to have two or more bloodlines with the ability to shift between them, the bloodline has to be complete enough to create the transition. If they don't there is usually some magical or pseudo-magical force that allows them the ability to transform."
Laughter escaped Eranoth's tired mouth. "I wonder how boring this is to read? It's almost textbook cringe worthy." 
"Back on track, the third method of bloodline shifting is 'given bloodline shifting'. This is kind of the in-between of the two above methods. It follows most of the same rules as the previous ones as well. If you want an example on one fairly common application of this method of shapeshifting read chapter 25 of my other book, Jericho the Bard. Technically this is instigated by the types of shapeshifting mentioned in chapter 1 but it turns into this type of shifting once it becomes 'stable'."
Like the unnatural acquiring bloodline, the creature with this bloodline isn't born with it. The difference is that a creature usually gives it to another creature willingly. Unlike the forms of shapeshifting mentioned in chapter 2 this method of shapeshifting is usually benevolent and doesn't attack the nature of the recipient. Beneficial shapeshifting can often come in this type of form." 
"Like the above this is a form-shift type of shapeshifting. Once the bloodlines are both present, the creature can then shift between the two. Often, conditions are required to use this type of transformation. For example, 'must be in a forest to use it.' You can review the earlier stuff to get ideas of the types of things you should consider when using this type of shifting."
"And finally we get to the fourth type of Bloodline shifting! Whoohoo! The chapter is almost done!"
"The final bloodline shifting can actually be done in any of the three above methods. The difference is duration and effect. This type of shifting is known as bloodline lock."
"Under certain conditions a form shift can end up becoming permanent or pseudo-permanent. In the first two cases it is usually something to lock the mutable bodies in a current state. This is usually done by an outside force. Bloodline lock is a great way to cause trouble to your Blood based shapeshifting character(s). Getting stuck and finding a solution to the problem or finding a way to adapt can create great story arcs. Just pay attention to it. It can also harm a story."

"Race changing is a special type of transformation and will be brought up in multiple chapters because it can be done through multiple methods of shapeshifting. Something important to know when performing a race-change with bloodlines involved. The creature gifting the race change should have access to that race or species. Note: Due to the nature of the book, there is very little 'story' but I have tried to break it up a bit with story to make it less of a straight info dump.

As per usual for a schoolday, I awakened at 6:30AM and began to get ready. For breakfast today I popped some bread in the toaster and applied some grape jelly. I also had a cup of apple juice.

I'm not going to go over myself getting ready each and every morning, as it's mainly the same thing every day, and it'd get too repetitive. As opposed to that, I'll begin with going over my day at school.

In physics we got our quizzes back. I was astonished to receive a 120% on it. It was out of 10 total points, and I had also gotten the two bonus problems described in yesterday's chapter correct, giving me the 120%. Today's class a study/review period, as we have a full test on Thursday. Seeing that I got a perfect on the quiz, I didn't think I need any help so I just kinda sat on my phone the entire class.

I then went to digital design, where the majority of the class was starting on a unit 3 project. I, however, had to work on a different project since I am already certified in photoshop. I was tasked with creating a professional flyer for an event that is going to be ran at my school, and am required to have certain information within the flyer and it needs to be done by Friday. So essentially, I'll be working on this flyer for the next 4 or 5 days. Today I was able to accomplish making a general layout and getting some of the text down. I still need to incorporate where I can add images and other small touches, as well as find where I will place the remainder of the required text.

In AP Statistics we began going over conditional probability. This is one of those subjects that I feel as if I learn every year. I remember first learning this back in middle school, and then again in algebra 1, and then again in algebra 2. Because of this, luckily, it's super easy stuff and I shouldn't need to worry about putting in a ton of work for this on the test. Because its been built upon so much over the years, it comes to me almost as common sense.

Needless to say, we went over a worksheet today in AP Stat and my teacher checked the homework for the previous night. All is seemingly going well in that class.

I then went to lunch. Tuesdays are my favorite lunch days because I can normally get my hands on a chicken quesadilla, certainly one of the better school lunch items. I went anf sat down at the normal table with some of my friends, and we conversed about our classes together. We then had a conversation comparing different presidents of the United States throughout history and how bad or how well they were perceived by the public. Some of the rankings were rather astonishing, because presidents like Andrew Jackson were actually very highly ranked even though there was so much controversy in his time. For those of you not aware, Andrew Jackson was responsible for the Trail of Tears. In my personal opinion, this makes him one of our worst presidents in history.

Then I went to IT class, where we had a short lesson on all the different specific server roles within a database. For example, one is the securityadmin (yes, it's one word) who manages logins and ensures a database shouldn't be breached. After this 20 or so minute lesson, I hopped on minecraft education edition and got a solid 40 minutes in. Today I began collecting wood to build a nice house on a mountain.

Next up is pre-calc. Today we learned about half angle trigonomic functions and how to found their exact values using certain formulas. It's relatively easy because, in the end, all it is is plugging numbers into a formula. It doesn't really take much skill, just as long as you know what each term means in the formula, you are generally good.

I then went to my AP U.S History class, or APUSH (I'll be calling it this from now on) for short. Today was Day 2 of having a long term substitute after my previous teacher got a promotion at a different highschool and left. We were supposed to be working on our outlines, and I got a little bit done. However, none of the class was actually working that much and by the end of class I had only finished two of five pages with both yesterday's and today's class period.

Finally, I went to 7th period being english. We played a review game to prepare for our test on The Crucible on thursday. We received cards with questions and played against another person in class. Then, we would take turns reading questions off the cards and whenever we got a question right, we got to keep the card. When we got a question wrong, the opponent got to keep the card. The person with the most cards at the end won. I ended up beating my opponent 45 to 33, so that's rather good I guess.

Finally, the bell rang after 7th period and I walked to my locker to drop off some things. I certainly need to bring home my APUSH textbook and realized that I needed to finish the outline tonight...which really sucked...

I got home at around 4:30, had a piece of cake and began working on homework at around 4:45.

First I worked on my AP stat homework, which was super easy. It was just what we had been doing in class. I then moved to the pre calculous homework, which was also rather easy, but a lot more tedious. By the time I finished this, it was around 6PM.

I then got to work on the rest of the APUSH outline that I hadnt finished. I thought this would take ages, knowing how little I had gotten done within two full class periods. However, now that it was quiet and I could actually focus, I ended up finishing the chapter outline is just over an hour. So at this point, it was just passed 7PM.

I was done with homework for now and I realized I should make some dinner. I settles for some shrimp ramen noodles as they are so quick to cook and certainly can provide a filling meal.

After making the ramen noodles, I scurried to my bedroom and began eating them while watching this week's episode of Black Clover. The episode was very good and the ramen noodles tasted excellent. I guess it is certain that at that moment, full weeb mode had been activated.

I then continued to watch JoJo's bizarre adventures until around 9PM.

Finally, I decided to begin writing today's chapter. And that's where I am now. I'm somewhat conflicted as to what time I should release chapters. If you have a preference, please let me know by commenting. For now, I have switched it to 11PM.

This is my life. I am writing this story to always remember where I came from in the years to come.

Minute after minute passed and the only break Ling Yun had taken was a sip of water after chapter four. Other than that, he was a hundred percent engrossed in reciting the content. 
No one was willing to break his momentum. They allowed this obese-looking loser to continue with his recitation of the chapters. 
Amazing would be an understatement of his wondrous ability. It was nothing short of phenomenal! 
By now, all the mockery from his classmates had vanished. What remained of it were just looks of envy and jealousy towards Ling Yun. 
At the side, Zhang Ling used her hands to cover her chest, so as to prevent her heart, which had been thumping very fast, from bursting out from her chest. She was probably the only person in the whole class who correctly guessed that Ling Yun would have something up his sleeve to retaliate against Mr. Wu. What she did not expect was the method Ling Yun used. It was shockingly simple yet fancifully effective. 
As for Cao Shanshan, she was flabbergasted. She had to forcefully control herself to stay as composed as possible. This was after Ling Yun's incredible performance gave her the shock of her life, leaving her with a wildly pulsating heart. She was worried that she might affect Ling Yun's recitation if her breathing got too heavy. 
Wei Tiangan was one of those students that were taken aback by Ling Yun's astounding recitation. At the start, he had been thinking about stirring up some trouble and making a big deal out of it so as to disrupt Ling Yun's memory. But now, he had entirely forgotten about it. Ling Yun's smooth and fluent recitation managed to take his mind off his nefarious schemes. 
By the time the first period ended, Ling Yun had the first seven chapters all read out. However, he was disappointed at himself for being two chapters behind time. He presented a face full of probe at Mr. Wu, asking him if he wanted him to resume the chapters. 
Mr. Wu could not control his excitement anymore as he joyfully crossed his arms to signal a stop. 
While activities happening outside the classroom were chaotic and lively, there was complete silence inside the classroom of Grade 12 Class 6. It was so silent that even a pin drop could be heard. Only after a minute did the rounds of applause start. The applause carried on for what seemed to be almost an eternity before subsiding. 
Some would say that even President Obama did not receive such a thunderous ovation when he got on stage to deliver his famous speeches. 
Mr. Wu, who was clapping enthusiastically with vigor, walked up to Ling Yun and affectionately gave a pat on his shoulder. "Are you thirsty? Let me get you a drink," Mr. Wu insisted, in a gentle tone unbefitting of him. He picked up his cup of water and offered it to Ling Yun, looking at this student of his ten times more tenderly than he would at his beloved pet dog or dream lover. 
To Mr. Wu, Ling Yun was not just one in a thousand, he was one in a million! He did not regret his underhanded tactics as that had been the key to discovering his precious student's hidden talent, although he hid feelings of heartfelt apology deep in his heart.
After serving the drink to Ling Yun, Mr. Wu walked to the front of the stage and uttered in a crisp and welcoming voice, "Students, what do you guys think about Ling Yun's recitation?" 
"Great!" Everyone, other than the uneasy-looking Wei Tiangan, had the exact same sentiments. 
"Doesn't everyone feel that the lesson we just had was extremely fruitful?" Mr. Wu inquired further. The class agreed energetically in response.
"Alright. Everyone, go and have a short break. Cao Shanshan, you will be in charge of the class discipline for now," Mr. Wu announced to the class. "And… Ling Yun, follow me to the office. I have something to talk to you about."
This time, Mr. Wu did not bother about whether the class greeted him or not as he walked over to Ling Yun and guided him out of the classroom in a welcoming fashion. 
As Ling Yun walked out of the classroom, he looked back in the direction of Cao Shanshan and Zhang Ling. However, he did not meet their gazes. This meant that he had pretended to not know Cao Shanshan. 
After Mr. Wu and Ling Yun's exit, silence devoured the classroom as if the students had all became mute. They were immersing themselves in Ling Yun's fabulous showing earlier. Such an occurrence had actually happened right in front of their own eyes! It would probably be one to stay in their memory banks for a long time.
"This is the fourth time already…" Zhang Ling blurted out. 
"Huh? Fourth time…?" Cao Shanshan got very curious about Zhang Ling's statement. 
"Yesterday night outside the hostel, this morning on the track, a few hours ago at the canteen against you, and now…", Zhang Ling recalled while counting with her fingers. "This is the fourth time already! I've told you he's changed but you did not believe me."
This time around, Cao Shanshan could not provide a rebuttal. She was still overwhelmed by Ling Yun's capability. How could someone's memory be so incredibly impressive? If he could remember so well, why would his academic results be so poor? 
The students did not stay quiet for too long as they broke out of silence and started to exchange their views about Ling Yun. 
"Impossible! It is definitely impossible!" The majority of the students commented. 
"How is it impossible? If someone can recite Pi to its sixty thousandth decimal place, what makes you think that Ling Yun is not capable of putting to memory everything in this history textbook?" Voices of rebuttals were heard as well. 
"But what you are talking about is a Guinness World Record. How can you compare that to Ling Yun, who is, more than often, the last in our class?" 
"Hey… What's the big deal about being able to memorize the textbook content? That does not guarantee him a university admission! I don't get why Mr. Wu has to wait on him!" One of the students resented. 
"Exactly! The end of year examinations is so much more than just History alone. Maybe he has spent the past three years doing nothing but memorizing these chapters…"
All these jealous and hateful remarks emerged, although not directly from the mouth of Wei Tiangan, but under his deliberate instigation. 
Zhang Dong was an exception, as he stayed stuck to his seat in an aghast state. It was true that Ling Yun's accomplishment was nothing compared to that Guinness World Record but Zhang Dong had seen with his own eyes that Ling Yun only skimmed through the textbook once. Just once. There was no way he could have had it prepared beforehand.
It was unbelievable how Ling Yun had managed to memorize this vast amount of content within that limited time he had before the start of the lesson. As Zhang Dong looked out of the window at the track, he became even more impressed as he was reminded of Ling Yun's actions earlier that day.
Inside Mr. Wu's office. 
"Hey Ling Yun, relax and take a seat." Mr. Wu caringly smiled at Ling Yun.
"I did not expect you to have such a talent. How did you train to have such an unimaginably good memory?" He asked. Of everything he had said or done to Ling Yun, that was the only question he was most interested in. If he could master then teach the skills to have a wonderful memory to his students, that would be beneficial to everyone taking the History subject. 
As for Ling Yun, he understood the reason for that sudden change of attitude from Mr. Wu to him. He thought to himself. Everyone flocks to you and treats you like their king when you are successful, but look down on you when you lose your value and become a good-for-nothing. 
"Nothing much actually. All I did was to put in more effort and memorize them a few more times," Ling Yun replied, obviously making his reason up on the spot. 
Mr. Wu chose not to believe his words. To him, Humanities subjects required hard work in memorizing the key points in the content. But to be able to recite from memory seven chapters straight without missing out a single word was something even hard work and talent combined couldn't produce.
As Ling Yun clearly was not interested in sharing about his ability, Mr. Wu decided not to push Ling Yun any further for an answer. He proceeded to focus on his main reason for meeting Ling Yun face to face; to persuade him to achieve better results so as to enhance his reputation as a subject teacher. 
"Ling Yun, I might not know how exactly you did that. However, since you have this natural talent in you, why not make the full use out of it academically? As you know, History is a subject that requires you not just to remember a lot of content, understanding the main concept and key points is more crucial," Mr. Wu advised Ling Yun convincingly into aiming for better results. 
Looking at Ling Yun's serious-looking face, Mr. Wu was satisfied. " You have less than two months to the end of year examinations. Start by reading more history textbooks and getting your basic foundations right first. I'll arrange for the History representative to tutor you with your homework. If you still have any doubts, feel free to look for me". 
Mr. Wu knew that with Ling Yun's ability to memorize so well, History, Geography, Political Science and his language subjects would pose no threat to him anymore. So long as he was able to perform well for these subjects, he should be able to gain entry into university without much of a problem. He immediately went on with his arrangements for Ling Yun. 
"Thanks, Mr. Wu. I'll study hard," Ling Yun nodded his head in agreement. Why would anyone say no to free tutoring? 
"Alright then, you can return to class now. I'll be looking forward to seeing your results in the upcoming mock exams," Mr. Wu motivated Ling Yun sincerely. 
After Ling Yun stepped out of his office, Mr. Wu exhaled heavily and mumbled to himself, "It is such a pity this genius wasn't discovered earlier. Otherwise, he would be able to enter any university course that he desires."
As Ling Yun stepped into the classroom of Grade 12 Class 6, he started to feel awkward as everyone's sight fixated on him, like paparazzis' non-stop camera flashes on celebrities. He quietly made his way back to his place before picking up his book to read again. 
"Well done, bro. You stunned Mr. Wu so badly he nearly p*ssed in his pants!" Zhang Dong leaned towards his tablemate and said.
"Nah, it's nothing much. Let's just study," Ling Yun smirked before responding back. 
"If you do not know what the main points are, feel free to ask me because I have them in my books." Zhang Dong told Ling Yun, as he pointed to his mountain of books. 
"Sure!" Ling Yun accepted his offer this time around. 
The following lesson was Geography and the students were all looking forward to another showdown, this time with the Geography teacher instead. However, they were left disappointed as Ling Yun was law-abiding throughout and the teacher had nothing against him to reprimand him about. 


Lingyun's tribulation has failed and he has descended onto Earth in the degenerate age. Step by step, he will rise up against the natural order!

Congratulations for making it to the end of Volume 2? How was it? I hope everyone enjoyed it. It's been a really challenging experience for me so I hope that those who've made it this far appreciate just how much work and thoughts I've put into this. 

As for those of you who are dreading the spirit stones cost, fret not! I have decided to turn down the offer Webnovel has given because of their inflexibility to change the terms I found that were unreasonable. So until I receive something better (wherever that may be) everything will still be the same as it has always been.

A: Volume one ended in winter where somewhere it was mentioned that it was almost his birthday. Time skip took more than two years and started near the end of spring. So he is 9 when volume 2 began.

Tweis: I'm amazed at how much bad reviews are coming in. They stopped reading very early and most of them quit after the MC brush off Tomoyo and Kurumi. Why don't you answer or reply to these reviews to make it clear to them?

A: Not going to waste my time. If they don't know what it means for literature to have 'character development' then it would be better for them to stop reading early. These guys even went as far as using alt accounts to upvote their bad reviews so why feed the trolls? I just hope that the current readers can upvote the reviews that they agree with.

A: I have. But webnovel doesn't seem to be doing anything about it. I don't really mind bad reviews as long as the reasons they have for giving something as low as a 1 star is understandable. The ones that spam bad reviews for the heck of it or because of something that happened early on in volume just makes me laugh. Hopefully they find actual quality novels to broaden their horizons.

A: Not at the moment. Though I have been receiving a lot of requests asking where my previous stories have been published. My answer remains the same on the previous q/a section and say that I only have the raws of what I've written in the past. The ones that were published and edited were on sites that have already went down (I've checked most of them)

A: That's just an illusion… I don't know what cliffhangers are…

A: Mei is the closest person to Kazuya because she was the only one he really cared about on earth in his previous life. She is, as mentioned in the first volume, his first love/crush.

A: The way it works 'currently' is that bonus chapters can be sponsored by patrons to be released on days where there are supposed to be no releases. Currently, my schedule is 3 chapters a week. A: That only applies to the Kouzuki clan. I made it somewhat of a tradition for them at this point (If written in the English alphabet that is). Though in Japanese, staring syllables don't matter because they always change depending on the meaning.

CrimsonDragonKing: Did they have guns? Was there any mention of guns in this operation? Even from the fodder? Author-san care to explain why we still don't have real weapons? Even Kaguya still doesn't have a real sword. All we have are kendo practice swords and fists.

A: There are many laws controlling the possession of firearms and swords. Even the in the police, there is a heavy restriction when they should use or sometimes even carry guns (only those detectives and ranked higher can carry them if I'm not mistaken). Even if one has a licensed gun, the law prohibits it from being carried out in the open because of the weapons and firearm ban.  

Guns have been controlled in Japan since the late sixteenth century.  After the Second World War, gun control became very strict.  Many civilians have never seen a gun in their lives. The relationship between gun possession and crimes or suicides has not been studied in great detail.  There are very few deaths by gunshot in Japan, which has a low homicide rate overall.  The suicide rate, on the other hand, is very high, and many speculate that if Japanese people were able to possess guns more freely, the suicide rate would rise sharply.

Brezer: I am wondering how many chapters this story is going to have. Every time we start getting to the meat and potatoes of the story we end up going off on a tangent to stuff that seems to not have any effect on the story. All of these backgrounds characters, are they going to the other world are they driving the story.... why are we even reading about them. If we are building background for all these people to go over then ya ok but if they don't then this is all useless filler that is detracting from the main path of the story. I like the story but really just trying to understand what we are reading all this filler for.

A: Even I don't know how many chapters this story is going to have. At least, not yet. Like most people who interacts with me in discord know, I have the story in my head, what's going to happen, what needs to happen, etc. the only problem is how I tell the story. As for the other concern, someone already gave an answer I quite agreed with in the comments section. I'll put it here as well.

Overlord_Venus: There is actually a good reason for that, while these characters may seem like A,B,C but they are what slowly influence and change kazuya's character, try to read once again from the first chapter then you'll understand many subtleties you might have missed the first time ( I got to know why only in my second read), hope this helps

My take on when you are deciding whether you're going to create something to publish or not; 
1. decide what you want to write about 
2. make sure that what you write about interests you, yourself (this is so that the chances for you dropping it when you eventually experience a block lessens) 
3. begin thinking about what kind of person your MC will be (if you can't decide, make him/her similar to yourself) 
4. think about what you want to happen in your story 
5. start constructing specific main events in your head that should happen in the novel. 
6. start thinking about how you want to start it. 
7. think about whether the story is something that you are actually interested in because an aspiring writers who would drop their stories with reasons such as disinterest or blockage are absolute garbage 
8. Start writing it. and think about who/what types of characters you'd want your MC to hang around with or which characters would support him 
9. ask a friend to read it or tell them about it and ask for what they think (make sure this person is into reading because friends that are illiterates and prefer to watch shows rather than read are useless) 
10.If you want to post it, make sure you have a reasonable lead in case you end up with delays and what not 
11. Think about what you're doing once again. If you really want to do this, make sure what you're getting yourself into 
12. enjoy the ride and don't let haters get to you. Not everyone will like what you write no matter what. 
13. Tank the haters and focus on the people that enjoy what you write. They are the ones who matter (This is important so i had to list it down again. People will try and bring you down) 
14. Never stop learning and improving your craft and appreciate those who support and encourage you.

After breakfast Monday morning, Grey headed to Enzo Capitolina Lecture Hall for her very first class.



It was a long walk from the cafeteria, down sidewalks, and across lawns. Two black roads crossed her path before she arrived. She walked through a cobbled courtyard edged with raised planters with walls high and wide enough to sit on, holding trees and multi-hued flowers. Directly ahead of her was the squat building. Though it was only two stories high, it was a wide, massive structure of concrete blocks. To either side of the courtyard were two red-brick buildings, that though taller, were dwarfed by the lecture hall.



Once inside, she walked past several doors before she found room C. Grey looked around and the bacon and eggs rolled unpleasantly in her stomach. The room was huge, with the roar of too many people speaking at once. She had no practice estimating large numbers, but she figured there were at least two hundred students already in the room, with space for more.



Rows of seats took up most of the interior, with steps on either side of them and down the middle. Long contiguous tables stretched in front of the seats, serving as a desktop. The floor slanted down as it narrowed, like an amphitheater. The flat area in the very front had a podium centered on it. Three large screens lined the wall behind it.



Sociology 103 hadn't been her first choice, but it was obviously popular. She was ten minutes early for the 8:00 class, but she clearly hadn't given herself enough time. The only spaces left were in the very back of the room or the first two rows. She picked the 2nd row and slid next to a Latin girl in a bright floral blouse and red jeans.



"Hi, I'm Grey."



"Louisa. Can you believe this crowd?"



"It's crazy." Grey pulled a notebook and several pens out of her tote and placed them on the table. "Are you a Soc major?"



"Nope, undecided. I thought I would check this out, guess I wasn't the only one with that idea."



"Yeah, this is an elective for me. I'm in the dance program."



"Oh, that's so cool! Can you salsa? It's the only dance I know."



"No, maybe you could teach me."



Just then the lights flickered and the woman standing behind the podium cleared her throat in the growing silence. She was in her mid-thirties, wearing a camel-colored knit dress that hugged her curvy body like a second skin. It looked beautiful against her chocolate skin and inky tresses.



"Hello everyone, I am professor Chanda Baishaya and I am your teacher for Introduction to Sociology. This is Troy Ward." she motioned to a dark-hued man lugging a thick stack of papers. "Troy is my graduate teaching assistant. Whenever I'm not available, consider him me."



Troy walked up the center stairs, placing a stack of papers in front of the end students to either side of him. They took one and passed the pile down.



"Once it gets to you, take a look through the syllabus. It contains an overview of the class, reading assignments, dates of the exams, and paper deadlines."



Grey flipped through three pages and felt ill. This was a beginning level class? Why couldn't she just dance? The name of the professor and TA were at the top with their office hours. Several other names were below them, followed by the name and author of the textbook.



The professor continued. "You will notice other names. Those are the undergraduate teaching assistants. If you have any questions, and neither of us is available, please visit them. If you have a problem with your notes, they will assist. Don't come to Troy or me for anything of that nature. The undergrads took the class and excelled, don't be shy about asking for their help.



"Before I begin, I have an announcement. All werewolf freshmen and transfer students must attend a mandatory assembly down the hall in room A, Thursday night at 10 PM. The meeting is for all students, not only those taking this class. Write it down and don't forget.



"Now, who can tell me, Sociology is the study of what?"



A hand shot up in the middle of the room. Grey couldn't see the person, but the male voice was loud and clear. "Sociology is the study of society, patterns, and social relationships."



"Well, someone's been reading the textbook," quipped the professor.



Scattered laughter broke out around the room.



She continued, "But what does that mean? Everything that happens in culture is shaped by context. For example, the abolition of slavery in the United States happened because society was ready to change the social conventions that had been in place up until that point. Of course, that resulted in a war to make it possible, because the social structure and prevailing culture in other parts of the country made that change undesirable. There were also the economic implications, but that's covered in someone else's classroom. The point is, slavery existed here, and in many other parts of the world because society permitted it. What seems terrible to us now was once considered normal.



"Think about that. Society is a living, constantly evolving creature."



After a significant pause, she picked up a paper from her podium. "Now, let's discuss the syllabus and what I expect from you."

Grey wants to dance, but options are limited in the small village where she lives, and as the daughter of the werewolf chief there are expectations. College offers the opportunity to learn and grow, but it turns out to be more complicated than she expected. How can she choose between the sweet human, the exotic vampire, and the exciting werewolf? “Beautiful,” said a lazy male voice.

She turned her head. Dark as a shadow, the man lounging on the rock was sinewy with angular features and crooked nose. He was handsome in a foreboding way and exuded confidence. Tristan. She hadn't expected an audience and didn't want one. Especially him.

“You enjoyed my dance?” Annoyance colored her tone.

“That too.” He rose with an easy grace. “I'm getting tired of waiting. When will you admit that you're mine?”

I mentioned I would post an explanation of what I am doing and my plans going forward so just wanted to inform everyone in this way.

I have decided to sign the webnovel contract and try out taking writing a little more seriously/professionally. First, I removed chapters 2 to 8 and moved them over to the auxiliary volume. This way, people can read them but they aren't part of Volume 1. They were originally Origin chapters that people in the past had requested but were not originally part of the story. I removed them to improve the flow of the early story. This should make getting into the action and such smoother/faster. I think it is a better presentation for hopefully many new readers coming to read once the story goes premium in the future. Origin chapters can still be found under the auxiliary volume for those interested in more of the background/origin/situation of the MC. I may add more to it in the future, not sure yet.

I decided that Volume 1 will end at the current chapter 93. Volume 2 obviously begins with chapter 94 to the present chapter which will be 109 when I merge 110 into 109. 109 will be the most recent chapter once those are merged. I decided to merge chapters in volume 2 because I decided on a set 1,500 to 2,000 or so words per chapter (with some exceeding 2,000 by 1 or 2 hundred). These are approximate numbers but each chapter will be larger than before.

As for premium chapters, I am not sure up to what chapter I should leave open and which chapter I should begin locking. Any suggestions here? Should I leave up to 60 or 80 chapters open? I have read people leave somewhere between 60 to 100 chapters open before locking. Maybe 80 is a good number?

Since I plan to sign the contract, I will need to work harder at writing chapters and come up with a steady release of chapters per week. So, once the story goes premium there should be consistent releases and more releases overall. My goal is to shoot for at least 40k words a month (of course I hope to do more).

Before the story goes premium, I plan to go back and revise some of the chapters and do a little editing here and there. I already did some editing of past chapters, but I feel volume 1 is pretty solid. I know some people have given me feedback on too much tell and not enough show when writing, but the nature of these types of stories requires more tell then normal. There is a lot of things going on which sometimes just needs to be told. Otherwise it would take too long to show in the story and would leave some confused or not knowing what is going on. I have tried to find a good balance between "show" and "tell" and there are still things which haven't been fully explained. These things will be fully explained as more of the story and such is revealed. We are only on the second volume currently and there should be, hopefully, many more.

Any thoughts, questions, concerns, feedback, etc. would be appreciated. Is there anything you would like to see more of, or feel I haven't done enough of? Any suggestions or request? I am always open to feedback whether I use it or not.

Lu Zhou thought about the time frame of the mission chain and how he could only accept one mission at a time. In the end, he decided to choose the reward mission first.

All in all, this mission was relatively simple.
He just had to lecture classes and take on a few students. It should take him one semester to do it. Especially for the theses part… It might not be easy for the average person to do this, but for him, guiding a few students to write a few theses was a piece of cake.
The rewards calculation metric wasn't based on the academic value of the theses. It was based on the impact factor of the journal. His students didn't have to tackle world-class mathematics problems. All that mattered was that his students' theses were accepted by a high impact factor journal.
Not to mention, he could utilize the computational materials science field.
As one of the pioneers of this field, he could go to the Jinling Institute for Advanced Study and find a few research projects for his students to work on. He could then sign the theses as a communication author, and the probability of these theses being accepted would be very high. 
As for the mission rewards, it was decent.
If he was lucky, he could get two S-grade, which would result in two lucky draw tickets. If he was lucky again, he might be able to get a scanner gun?

Even though the class would not start for another half an hour, the lecture hall was already filled with people. Some students even sat on the aisle of the corridor.

"I don't know, that's what it says on the curriculum."
"It won't be a teaching assistant, right?"

His roommate, who was sitting next to him and wore glasses, sighed and said, "This is Chief Designer Lu, Fields Medal and Nobel Prize winner. Forget about the master's students at our school, even the genius students from Jinshi University came here."
The students had to take the subway just to get here.
The tall guy said, "Why is Jinshi University here? Do they even have a mathematics department?"
"Who knows? But I think they should have one…"
Soon, the class bell rang.
As soon as the bell had finished ringing, Lu Zhou, who was wearing a gray trench coat, walked into the classroom while carrying a textbook.

Kai noticed Harry first as he walked in, his scent was the brightest and most vibrant compared to the rest. Next to him was Ron, who in Kai's opinion was a terrible influence. He was the main cause of Harry's dislike in studying and learning of the magical arts.

On Harry's other side was Hermione Granger. Behind them came Seamus Finnigan, Neville Longbottom and Dean Thomas. These were the Gryffindor half of the students. 

The other half of the students were the Slytherins, it was a mixed class after all. Kai actually believed that true Slytherins (not the arrogant pure-blooded ones like Draco Malfoy that had no talent in manipulation) were the qualities that Harry had when he was younger. He could guess that the sorting hat had some indication that Harry possessed these traits. 

Unfortunately, with his loss of memory, it seemed that these Slytherin qualities had been buried deep within his psyche. 

Draco Malfoy entered before the Gryffindors along with his loyal but useless bodyguards Greggory Goyle and Vincent Crabbe. Draco was considered the prince of Slytherin due to his father's backing. The trio were followed by Daphne Greengrass the Slytherin ice queen and her best friend Tracey Davis.

All in all, it was a pretty small class but when only a few students arrive in Hogwarts during the 90s it was expected. Usually, there would be a larger student population in the castle but due to the war with Voldemort many families were killed thus effectively reducing the wizarding population and with that the children's population as well. 

After Kai saw that everyone that entered was seated, he was about to begin his lesson but stopped. He said "Everyone can talk until the rest of the students arrive. Perhaps a few will be late due to the unexpected classroom change."

He wanted to understand how Umbridge's lessons went as they were right before his, he had picked up the students' conversations and among them were complaints about Umbridge's class. They came mainly from Harry's group but there were other comments from others. 

"Harry I can't believe that she gave you detention for merely giving your opinion, it's ludicrous," Hermione stated. 

"Yeah," Ron said 

"It is rubbish what's she's going to be teaching us. I've already read every textbook on our list this year and there isn't anything new at all." Hermione continued 

"And she said that there aren't going to be any practical lessons, in order to pass our O.W.Ls, we need to be proficient enough to cast the required spells. What do you think Harry?"

"I think that she's deliberately not teaching us anything at all. They are trying to deliberately restrict our education because Fudge is scared that Professor Dumbledore is teaching something important and want to keep it from spreading."

Kai continued to eavesdrop on their conversation and decided that it was time to begin. 

He clapped his hands and said, "can I please have your attention."

After the students were quiet he continued "To get to know you I have decided that we will be performing a small activity to get to know you. You will say your name and one particular subject you are good at.

I will begin. My name is Kai Darcone and I am particularly good at defence and care of magical beasts." 

He pointed at Draco "you with the blond hair sitting in the second row, why don't you go next."

Draco looked at his teacher with pride and said "My name is Draco Malfoy. The heir to the house of Malfoy and I excel in potion making." 

"Very good Mr Malfoy, what about you Mr Weasley?" Kai asked. 

"My name is Ron Weasley and I am good at quidditch." He gave a short answer and appeared to be suspicious nervous of Kai's question. "Ehm sir how do you know my name?"

"Well since you have given it to me it is natural I know it. But I assume that you are asking how I knew you were Mr Weasley. It was quite obvious after all there aren't many wizards who are redheads, especially who go to Hogwarts. I hope that answers your question."

The entire class laughed at his words and Ron's face turned the colour of his hair.

"Now how about you Miss…" Kai pointed at Daphne Greengrass.

This continued for the rest of the class as name after name was called and soon the last person was called. 

"Harry Potter you may begin your introduction," Kai said to the boy. 

"Hi sir my name is Harry Potter and my best subject is defence."

"Thank you, Mr Potter." Once he finished Kai moved to the middle of the class.

"Now before I start the lesson I believe that I should tell you my required rules in my classes as it is your first lesson with me. The first is that there will not be any house rivalries in this class, those who mention them shall receive detention with me. Those who act on them shall spend some time with me doing some more unpleasant detentions such as shovelling the magical creature dung from their enclosure or entering the forbidden forest with me to check for any rouge creatures...

The next rule is that I will expect you to try your hardest in my class if you do not, I will drop you from the subject. And lastly Is the rule of respect.

I believe respect is earned not given and therefore you may call me Kai until you feel that I have earned your respect but the same is mutual. If you have earned my respect you may request anything from me that is in my power. Be it a raise in your final grade or a month's-long exemption from homework, it may also be a piece of obscure information. 

But this is an extremely hard thing to achieve, almost nobody has had the honour of receiving my respect. So I expect you to work hard. Many of you are probably laughing at my words but I would like you to take them to heart. 

Before joining Hogwarts I was a branch master of the Dark Lords' Court. I have successfully fought and studied many magical occurrences. Therefore I suggest once again that you work hard.

Kai is a tourist on holiday when he is killed in a terrorist attack. He wakes up during the year 1981 in a forest and finds out that he is a vampire progenitor in the Harry Potter world. Kai then heads out to the nearest human settlement which happens to be Godric Hollow.
