"You must say YES! Isabele or I am going to kill you! Because of you and your Mr. Peaches, I dance like this!" Alexei shouted as he banters to his sister. Everyone laughs for his statement, the Knights are glaring at her; Ryder and Dimitri were sending her daggers but the ladies of the court are laughing.
"It's a good thing that we have the union blessing My Queen, I was spared to the humiliation of dancing in public" Francois whispered to Luna's ears. Luna giggles as it tickling sensation to her skin. "Isabele Voronov! Your answer?" Xavier shouted.
Isabele: "Mr. Peaches, since I love to sniff to your neck always….. and I think... No! I know that I am pregnant with your child….. Yes, I Will Marry You."
Those the words the Rita got infuriated, she stood up and she hysterically shouted to them "NO! NO WAY! You can't marry her Yuan! You Are Mine and Mine alone!" Aira pulls Rita's hands for her to take her seat, even Rita's father was surprised to hear his daughter's words. 
"Rita please don't humiliate yourself," Aira said in a low tone. "No! Yuan is mine! I am his girlfriend and he promises me that he will marry me!" Rita hysterically said. Yuan furrows his brows, "You are not my girlfriend nor promise to marry you. Isabele is the first woman that I have interacted with and got romantically involved. Don't assume that you are my lover nor fiancée because you are not" Yuan said that face slap Rita right there and then. Alexei and Pearl immediately stood up in front of Rita whose eyes were red in anger.
When Rita saw Pearl she trembles and slump her body at the chair, then suddenly a voice of conversation was heard in the entire venue.

CONVERSATION OF SOFIA AND HER FRIENDS
Rita: "Sofia, is Louie will be your escort for tomorrow's event? Will Yuan will be there also?"
Sofia: "Louie and his friends will be attending the event tomorrow, Yuan is the contact person of the Assistant of Lady Autumn, and if Louie will be my escort for tomorrow…..I'm still hoping for a positive outcome."
Aira: "So it means that Dr. Harry Si will also be there?"

When l woke up ,l make sure to get my strength back and prefect my marksmanship and find information on the name ghost. l trace him and l find out he is here in this country but l have still not find who he is and how he looks like. So that is why l disappear for 2 years without trace and am sorry  for not been able to save your mother, please forgive me

KINABUKASAN ay inaasahan ni Janine na nandoon na naman sa kabilang gusali ang binata. Hindi siya nabigo nang masilayan niya ang motorsiklo nito. Wala sa sariling lumapit siya kahit wala naman siyang dahilan para lumapit. Oh, yes, she brought his raincoat. 

"Hi," panimulang-bati niya.

"Hi, there!"

"S-Sorry, hindi ako nakapag-reply kahapon. Busy..." dahilan niya pero ang totoo ay hindi niya alam kung ano ang ire-reply.

"It's alright. You can reply whenever you're available," tipid itong ngumiti.

"Uhm, may inaabangan ka?"

"Wala naman."

Nangunot ang kanyang noo. Bakit ito laging nandoon kung ganoon?

"Ah..." imbes na magtanong pa ay napatangu-tango na lamang siya.

"Siya nga pala, nakalimutan ko iyong jacket mo. Raincoat lang ang nadala ko kasi mabigat sa bag, e."

Akmang kukunin niya iyon sa kanyang bag nang pigilan siya nito.

"Just keep that, para may gamitin ka ulit kapag umulan."

"Hindi, okay lang ako," tanggi niya.

Kumunot ang noo nito.

"Dala ko na ang payong ko. Actually, I bought a new one. Mas magaan kaysa sa una," esplika niya.

"That's good then," anas nito.

Saglit na katahimikan ang namayani. Lumingon siya sa motorsiklo ng binata. Ang gara ng motorsiklo nito, mukhang mamahalin. 

"Ite-text kita kung dala ko iyong jacket mo bukas," basag niya sa katahimikan.

"Alright."

Napalingon siya sa mukha nito. Ang tipid naman nitong kausap. 

"What's your name?" namamaos na tanong nito. Napahinto siya saglit. Oo nga naman, ilang beses na silang nagkaroon ng interactions pero hindi pa rin nila kilala ang isa't isa.

"Princess Janine," pakilala niya. Wait, that's too long. "Just call me Janine."

"Janine," anas nito.

Pakiramdam niya ay maliliit na mga daga na nagtatakbuan sa kanyang dibdib. Bakit ganito ang nararamdaman niya?

"Hm," tumango siya. "Ikaw?"

"Louie,"

Bahagya siyang tumango. Hindi pa rin niya mapigilan ng pagkabog ng kanyang dibdib kaya naman ay nagdahilan na siya.

"B-Baka hinihintay na ako sa amin. Mauna na 'ko," paalam niya.

Tumango ito. "Ingat ka."

Pagkauwi niya ay ginawa niya muna ang lahat ng kailangang gawin. Matapos maghugas ng pinagkainan ay naghilamos na siya, at tinapos na ang assignment niya, weekends naman pero ginawa na niya ang mga assignment para bukas, pagkatapos nilang maglaba ay makakapagpahinga siya ng maayos. 

Lagpas alas nueve na nang mapagpasyahan niyang mahiga na sa kama. Pero hindi siya makatulog kaya naman napagpasyahan niyang mag-cellphone. Her phone isn't the latest model, hindi rin siya nakagagamit ng internet dito dahil de-pindot. Hindi siya binibilhan ng bago dahil calls and texts lang naman daw ang kailangan niya. About the Internet, she can browse on their computer. Or that's what her tita Sheng said.

Pagkuwa'y may naisip siya. Mabilis na tumipa siya ng message:
Hi, Louie.

Pikit-mata niyang s-in-end iyon.

Ilang sandali lang ay nakatanggap siya ng reply:
Good evening, Janine! Have you eaten your dinner?

Omg!

She typed in: 
Yeap! Kanina pa. Ikaw ba?

Louie:
Yes. I ate dinner with my family. Buti gising ka pa? It's getting late.

Napabusangot siya. Ayaw ba siya nitong ka-text?

Louie:
I'm just concerned that you're tired. We can text tomorrow so you could have a good rest :')

Ah, iyon naman pala ang ibig niyang sabihin. Kinuha niya ang unan at niyakap habang tumitipa:
Medyo pagod na nga. I was about to sleep but I remember to text you. Nasabi ko kasi kanina na ite-text kita kung dala ko ang jacket mo bukas pero wala namang pasok.

Hindi niya iyon pinasa at binura ang mensahe. She typed in a new one:
Oo sige, will text you tomorrow. Good night! :')

Louie:
Good night. Huwag ka nang mag-reply para makapagpahinga ka na. 

She turned off her phone before she could text back. Baka kasi hindi siya tuluyang makatulog. 

She slept with a light smile on her face. 

Naging instant textmate niya si Louie matapos niyang ibigay ang numero rito. 

"Siya nga pala, noong Foundation Week namin, bakit nagpupumilit kang pumasok?" tanong ni Janine nang makita niya ulit ito sa katapat na gusali ng kanilang paaralan. "Pwede namang bumili ng ticket, pero nagpumilit ka pa talaga na wala kang pera." 

"I really didn't have money then, I forgot my wallet," sagot nito. 

"Pwede namang umuwi at kunin muna iyong wallet mo, pero bakit gustung-gusto mong pumasok noon?" kuryosong tanong niya. 

Saglit itong tumahimik bago nagsalita, "I want to be honest with—"

"Luigi?"

Sabay silang napalingon nito sa babaeng nagsalita.

"Betatche?" nagtatakang tawag niya sa apelyido ng estudyanteng nasa harapan na nila ngayon.

"My! It's really you! Ano'ng nangyari? You stopped texting me," bati nito sa katabi niyang tila naging bato na.

"Jenny," bati ni Louie sa ka-schoolmate niya nang makahuma na. 

She knows her, sikat itong varsity player ng volleyball. At ito rin ang itinanghal na Ms. GHS noong nakaraang taon, magkaklase rin sila noong grade seven sila. Paano nitong nakilala si Louie? Wait, who's Luigi?

"Ayaw ko mang aminin, pero medyo na-miss kita," bahagyang tumawa si Jenny sa isiniwalat sa binata. 

"M-Mauna na ako, nandiyan na si Erik," sabad niya nang mamataan ang sasakyan nilang minamaneho ng kanyang kuya. Nag-text kanina na susunduin daw siya dahil pauwi na rin naman ito galing sa unibersidad na pinapasukan nito.

"Wait lang, Vergarra, magkakilala pala kayong dalawa ni Luigi?" wika ni Jenny na tila ngayon lang siya napansin.

Wala sa sariling tumango siya at lumayo na.

"Ja," tawag ni Louie ngunit hindi na niya nilingon at pinansin pa.

Nang makasakay siya sa sasakyan ay nilingon niya agad ang dalawa na mukhang may seryosong nang pinag-uusapan.

Magdamag niyang inisip ang tagpong iyon kaya naman kinabukasan, paggising niya ay namumugto ang ilalim ng kanyang mga mata. Hindi rin niya in-on ang cellphone, hinayaan niyang lowbat iyon. Hindi na rin niya dinala sa eskwelahan. 

Maging sa klase ay nawalan siya ng pokus hanggang sa mag-uwian na. Hindi siya dadaan sa main gate gaya ng lagi niyang ginagawa, bagkus ay sa second gate na kahit medyo malayo iyon sa sakayan.

"Vergarra, wait!"

Napahinto siya nang marinig na may tumatawag sa kanya. Si Jenny.

"Kanina pa kita tinatawag, hindi mo yata ako naririnig," ani nito habang nagmamadaling makalapit sa kanya. 

"Pasensya na."

Out of respect, she stopped walking to wait for her. Kapagkuwa'y huminto sila sa shed malapit sa second gate. 

"Siya nga pala, pasensya na kung hindi ko napansing magkasama kayo ni Luigi kahapon. Nagulat lang kasi ako na naroon siya," panimula nito.

"Luigi?"

"Iyong lalaking kasama mo kahapon. Nililigawan ka ba niya?" direktang tanong nito.

Sa kanyang isipan ay panliligaw na ang ginagawa ni Louie sa kanya. Ang paghihintay nito tuwing tapos na ang kanyang klase, ang palaging pagte-text nito sa kanya...

"To be honest, Luigi was my suitor before. We were supposed to meet last Foundation Week but he didn't see me before the pageant has started. Kailangan na ako sa stage," casual na paliwanag nito. Ito kasi ang master of ceremony sa pre-pageant nang gabing iyon kaya kailangang nasa venue lamang ito. 

Hindi niya alam kung bakit nito sinasabi iyon sa kanya. Palalayuin ba siya nito kay Louie? Luigi? O kung ano man ang pangalan nito? Napabusangot siya.

Pumalatak si Jenny. "Now I know why."

Kumunot ang kanyang noo.

"I mean, don't get me wrong, ah, he's nice at all. Pero nagtaka lang talaga ako na bigla siyang nawala. Hindi lang pala sa mag-jowa na-a-apply ang ghosting, pati sa suitors din," naiiling na tumawa ito pagkatapos.

"Why are you saying all of this to me?"

"I'm saying that you should be careful. Luigi is a playboy. Halata naman, 'di ba?"

Tumango siya dahil iyon naman talaga ang impresyon niya sa binata.

"But believe me when I say, he's nice. He actually explained to me yesterday that he was still texting me, he's been asking me to meet him, that he'll wait for me everyday..."

Kung ganoon pala, si Jenny ang hinihintay nito araw-araw? And here she thought he's been waiting for her so he could see her. 

Ilusyonada ka, Princess Janine. 

"He said he wanted to tell me that he'll stop courting me. That he doesn't really like me," saglit itong bumuntong-hininga. "Sayang, I like him pa naman," dagdag pa nito.

"Akala ko ba hindi na siya nagti-text sa iyo?" hindi napigilang komento niya.

"That's what I thought, too! Nakalimutan kong nagpalit na nga pala ako ng sim card. 'Tsaka hindi na rin naman ako sa main gate dumadaan, sinusundo na ako lagi rito sa second gate," paliwanag nito. She sighed, "And lately, I realised I kinda miss him."

"Bakit hindi mo siya sagutin ngayon?"

"Masokista ka rin, Janine, 'no? Talagang itatanong mo sa akin iyan?" she's a little bit sarcastic. 

Hindi siya nakasagot.

Ngumisi ito. "Don't worry, I know you like him. I can sense it."

Maang na napatingin siya rito. Was she that obvious?

"Huwag mo na akong pagselosan. 'Past is past' ika nga kahit wala naman kaming past talaga." natatawang pansin nito sa pananahimik niya. "We weren't really a thing. Ako talaga ang unang lumapit sa kanya. At dahil alam kong hindi siya tumatanggi sa mga babaeng gustong maka-fling siya, lumakas ang loob ko."

Tumahimik siya. Ready for more information.

"Imbes na lumitaw na ako ang nanligaw, sinabihan niya akong liligawan niya ako. How nice of him, right? Playboy siya pero hindi manloloko. Maloko siguro, oo."

Hindi sila magkaibigan ni Jenny, hindi rin sila close, pero hindi siya na-offend sa paraan ng pagkukwento nito. Hindi ito trying hard na makipag-usap sa kanya. Hindi gaya ng iba na feeling close.

"Basta, nililinaw ko lang sa iyo na wala kaming intimate relationship ni Luigi."

"Thanks for telling me, Jenny."

May pakiramdam siyang mula sa araw na iyon ay hindi na last-name basis ang pagtawag nila nito sa ngalan nila. She had this feeling that they'll become friends. Not so close, but good friends. 

"O, sige na, nandito na ang sundo ko," paalam nito at kumaway sa kanya.

Pagkauwi ay 'tsaka pa lamang niya ch-in-arge ang cellphone. Pagkabukas niya ay nag-ring agad iyon. Nasagot niya nang hindi sinasadya. 

"You're phone was off all day and last night, too. What happened? Are you alright?" bungad ng nasa kabilang linya.

Imbes na patayin ay hinayaan niyang ongoing ang tawag.

Louie sighed heavily. "I'm sorry about yesterday, I was about to tell you—"

"Nasabi na ni Jenny sa akin." putol niya sa sasabihin.

"I still want to tell you everything. I want to be honest with you."

"Feeling ko naman, nasabi na lahat ni Jenny. Sige na, may gagawin pa ako," agarang sagot niya. Muli, ay malalim na bumuntong-hininga ang nasa kabilang linya.

"Alright."

Iyon lang? Pumayag na itong tapusin ang tawag? Alright? Pinatay na niya ang tawag. Ilang sandali lang ay nakatanggap siya ng text message pero hindi na niya binasa dahil sunud-sunod na ang pagtunog ng kanyang message alert tone. Paniguradong kanina pa ang mga text messages na iyon kaya nama'y hinayaan niya munang mag-charge ang cellphone. 

Naiinis na tinahak niya ang daan papasok ng banyo para makapag-shower muna. Halos mamula at mairita ang kanyang balat sa madiin na pagkuskos ng bimpo dahil sa inis na nadarama.

Matapos niyon ay kumain na siya ng hapunan. She washed the dishes right after they ate. Habang nagpapahinga ay kinuha niya ang nagcha-charge na cellphone, binasa niya ang huling text ni Louie sa kanya. 

Louie:
I know you're tired. Magpahinga ka agad. Marami ako ng text sa iyo, hayaan mo na lang ang mga iyon. 

Nagpasya siyang basahin ang ibang ibang text messages bago mag-reply rito. Laking-gulat niya nang mapansing ang daming mensahe ni Louie sa kanya.

Louie:
Nakauwi ka na ba?

Louie:
I'm sorry about a while ago,

Louie:
Please reply.

Louie:
Text me when you're done with what you're doing.

Louie:
Are you still awake? If you are, text me.

Louie:
I can't call you, you're phone is unattended. 

Louie:
Oras na. Baka natutulog ka na. Good night. Please text me tomorrow.

Ang sumunod na mga mensahe ay kanina lang.

Louie:
Good morning. I hope you slept well. I'll wait for you later.

Louie:
Your phone is not ringing. Are you alright?

Louie:
Did you eat your lunch?

Louie:
I'm here...

Halos isang oras matapos ng text na iyon ay may text ulit ito. 

Louie:
I'm still here. Nakauwi ka na ba? If yes, text me, and I'll go home. 

Louie:
Please reply so I would know if you're okay. I'm starting to worry, Janine. I didn't see you at your school. Wala ng mga estudyante rito.

May humaplos sa kanyang puso nang mabasa ang mga messages nito. Nakonsensya tuloy siya na hinayaan niyang naka-off ang kanyang cellphone. Halos manlaki rin ang kanyang mga mata sa huling text nito na wala nang estudyante sa school. Does it mean he waited that long? 

She typed in a new message:
I'm sorry,|

She deleted it and typed a new one:
Hi, I'll be seeing you tomorrow, ok? ;')

Pagka-send niya ay mayroon agad itong reply. 

Louie:
Thank you. I'll be there.

"Don't cry, love. I'm missing you more..." garalgal ang tinig ng kasintahan ni Janine na si Louie. "I'm sorry," anas nito.

"Don't be sorry!" napalakas na sambit niya. Pilit na pinapakalma ang sarili. 

"I'm not sorry for missing you, hon. I'm sorry for myself," namamaos na untag nito. 

"Please, no..." pinunasan niya ang luha gamit ang kanyang palad. "We'll keep on fighting. Isang taon na lang naman. Mabilis na lang iyon," utal-utal at pumipiyok na usal niya. 

Ngunit siya ay hindi sigurado kung kakayanin pa ba niya ang isang taon na wala ito sa kanyang piling. Kahit pa bigyan ito ng panandaliang bakasyon ay nasisiguro niyang hindi iyon sapat para sa pangungulila nilang dalawa. She couldn't stop herself from crying with the thought that from now on, they may live far from home- far from each other's arms. 

Sure, they have a lifetime ahead but how can they spend it together if her beloved is on the other side of the world?

" go on now, please enjoy " Leny smile at her then retreated to change her clothes. 

Louie went back  to her seat and ordered another glass, her mood improved a little but she still have plans. She wants to play more... 

... 

Criiinggg.... Criiiinnggg... 

Reez answered the call but didn't greet the person on the other side.

"  hey,  let's have a drink with the others. I already contacted them and they already said yes, you're the only one left.  At  BB Bar, we already reserved a room... and women. " Cara said continuously then hung up the call. 

When he said he already contacted the others means they are already on their way there. 

He started to fix and organize the papers on his table and went out his office. Most of the employees already went home so there are only few left. They bowed when they see him. 

He went to the parking lot and drove his car to BB Bar or BeautyBerries Bar. 

... 

Leny's now wearing a different clothes and dancing with a man on the dance floor. Coincidentally the man is holding a glass of wine. 

Dancing with the beat, Louie made her way near them. A good looking man also came near her, she just smiled at him and dance. Probably he's hooking up with her,  she smirked and even danced closer to him. 

Their body is so close that she could smell his scent, she didn't forget her real intentions. She looked behind the man he's dancing with and saw her plaything. 

She stumbled and leaned to her partner, because of the force he stepped back a little that pushed the person behind him. 

Because that person is holding a glass of wine, it was spilled on the person in front of him. It was Leny.... again

Louie's partner supported her but to someone's point of view, it looks like he's embracing her. 

Louie 's partner has a big built thus she can hide from the people behind him. 

" sorry man " 

" what?! ... Ha? ... It's alright... " Leny' s partner said. He looks so hondsome and competent but actually a coward. He's already scared just looking at his opponents body. 

Leny's mood is already at its end, she gritted her teeth and walked out... 

" hey... Wait! ... It's an accident! " he run after her... 

Louie look up " sorry " she look so innocent with her pitiful and beautiful eyes. 

Captivated his ears turned red  " It's alright... just... be careful  " 

He's really tall, chocolate brown eyes, defined jaw.... really hondsome.... but as she was observing him, she felt a chill run through her scalp to her back. Sho looked back and saw a  man intensely looking at then. She met his icy glare and unconsciously gulped. Even when he's angry, he looks so....damn hondsome. 

" ahm, miss may I know your name? " her attention went back to the man in front of him. 

" ha.... ahm, it's Louria. Yours? " she smiled at him and stepped back a little to have some space between them. 

" It's Raven, nice to meet you. " he holds her hand and kissed it. He smiled so sweetly, but his smile screams playboy. 

She retracted her arms " thank you for earlier"
But before she could retract her arm, he held her hand and slipped a card on her palm and winked at her before going away. 

She's left there standing as she read the card.

Haha, really a playboy. She went back to her seat and ordered another glass. She knows that someone is intensely looking at her... she ignored it.

He thought she was an assasin hired by someone to kill him, but her ways are a bit... naughty. 

" Hey gorgeous, would you mind to share a bed with me? " she said as she clings on him, while his subordinates looked at her with wide eyes. 

After a blissful night, she took a picture of him and run away. 

A few days later they met again, she decided to play the pitiful act. 

" you—"

She kneeled on the floor and cried. 

" Wuhuhu Mr I... I don't know what you're talking about... wuhuhu I'm innocent... "

Him "..." I didn't even tell yet what you have done yet...

She who always runs away and him, who always drags her back. 

Throwing their cards at each other, tricks after tricks.

Dinner was served after some conversation. Reina couldn't be more delighted how everyone seems to enjoy her cooking. Skyler had also requested for another slice of cake but his Mama Yuna had warned him about sugar rush and getting tooth cavities. The little boy pouted but nevertheless listen to his grandmother. 

The servants cleaned up the used plates and served some tea for Ririna. The scent of the coffee from earlier made her headache. 

Now, he was sitting on his Mama Yuna's lap, his both arms propped against the desk while he made some doodles on the blank paper. His grandmother busy running her fingers in her locks like he was kind of pet. 

"How cute" Sara whispered to Rion. They arrived a bit late because both had overslept from their afternoon nap. They didn't even have to make the tarts they were planning to bring tonight. 

"So how is the wedding planning?" Yuna asked. She heard that her son and Ririna were planning for a private wedding ceremony which will happen in two weeks just before Skyler's birthday. 

"It's going well although we haven't chosen our suits and gowns for the event. Eli is letting me do all the planning. He just wants to get married and get over it." Ririna answered as she poured tea on her cup. The aroma gently teased her nose and made her headache dulled.

Yuna nodded and continued stroking Skyler's hair. It reminded her of the time when Eli was still learning how to write and read and how she patiently taught her before nighttime. 

"How long are you gonna work for Han Zhou? I hope you wouldn't abandon your position in S&S for too long?" She asked Eli. 

"There's nothing to worry about it. Ririna and I agreed that I will manage Han Zhou for at least three years while taking his brother under my wing to train him as the next CEO." 

Eli wanted to lit a cigarette but he remembered how Ririna disliked the scent of it and forbid him to smoke when their son was around. She didn't want Skyler to pick up some bad habits from the adults around him. It didn't help that Evan had introduced Skyler to video games that her child started to ask if they could buy some consoles so he could also play at home. 

"I see." Then there wasn't anything to worry then. She trusted her son's judgment although she didn't like the idea of Evan taking a step to become the acting CEO of S&S during Eli's absence. 

Ririna yawned and rubbed her eyes. She was feeling exhausted and dead tired and just wanna sleep. Sensing that his wife wasn't feeling good since they left their home, Eli was worried that she will pass out anytime soon. 

"Why don't you call it a day, Ririna? You looked pale." Reina said. 

Ririna smiled and shook her head. She needed to be here for a little longer. Gabriel motioned his two sons to follow him on the study room, leaving their women and their other visitors. Skyler pulled his favorite grandmother to the living room to where they would continue their lessons about shapes and numbers while the girls with Rion and Louie moved outside where the pool was, taking some can of beers with them.

"So I heard you popped out the question already, Rion?" Ririna asked. "Are you worried that Sara will leave you?" she grinned. 

Rion took a sip from his drink before turning his head to answer Ririna. 

"I just feel like it was the right time to ask the question." 

"One month of dating. You do know our brother was clearly pissed off right now." Ginny said to her little sister. Their brother had given her several miss calls that afternoon. She wasn't able to pick it up because she was busy taking a nap with Rion. 

"I know. Did you tell him about it? He sent me a message earlier telling me that I should come up with a good explanation on Friday." Sara gulped. She wasn't sure if her brother will accept her relationship with Rion and give them his blessings. 

"No, I wasn't the one who told him about your engagement. Aya accidentally said it when they were talking but that's fine. We can't really hide this information from him for too long." Ginny said. 

Ririna frowned. She only met Lawrence Yun once when she visited Ginny during their high school years. Was he really that bad that he wouldn't approve his sisters' beaus?

Ginny scoffed remembering the times when she had to ask for Lawrence permission whenever she and Evan will go in a date. There were times that Lawrence treated her like she was still a kid that needed to have a curfew. 

Not that she could blame her brother. He had been only twenty-one at the time and enrolled in a university when their father got a heart attack and died. He had been looking forward to graduate with his masters and eventually his Ph.D. in his chosen field which was certainly not in business and finance. 

Lawrence had been interested in medicine ever since he was young. He always wanted to become a doctor and create new medicines that could help people. The death of their father devastated him and their mother but they needed to pull themselves together for the sake of his younger sisters. 

Needless to say, Lawrence shifted to a business degree to help their mother save their business. Even if the last thing he wanted to be was a businessman. He had given up his dreams and tackled the overwhelming task of keeping their family together while working to save their company. Still, his dislike for the business world didn't change, even if he was successful at it. 

"Well, let's ask Evan for some tips. He got Lawrence's approval after all." Louie commented, he moved to sit beside his wife.

"What about me?" Evan asked. He removed his coat and left it on the coat hanger near him. He joined the conversation as he took a can from the table and sat on the armrest where Ginny was seated. 

"Give some tips to Rion. He will meet Lawrence and his future in-laws on Friday." 

"Ohh.. don't sweat about it. Just be yourself. Lawrence isn't really that bad as long as your intentions to Sara aren't bad. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he already made a thorough investigation of you." 

"Evan!" Ginny exclaimed. 

"What? It is true. Lawrence admitted it himself that he had run a background check to me." Evan said. 

Ginny sighed but she knew Evan was telling the truth. It was very likely that Lawrence will do the same with Rion. 

"Yes, yes. Just don't throw random jokes like Evan did." Ginny muttered. 

"Hey, now that's what I want to hear. You didn't tell me you played jokes with your brother-in-law too." Louie laughed at his best friend. 

"Oh dear. Here we go again." Erica grinned. Ah, it was always nice to hang out with Evan and Louie, they always had some funny stories to entertain them.

This is the chance Eli has been waiting for, this time she can't get away from him anymore. Threats and dangers are still lurking around them. Their enemies are seeking after them with lethal schemes. In this game of life and death, raising a child is not ideal. He must eliminate them all first before starting a family with Ririna, but the child he never knew he had is seeking him regardless. Is his child going to be his weakness or his strength?

10:04 pm.

Nathan followed the convoy and arrived at a town.

He was invisible as he stood in front of the entrance and there was a post on the side that read, Welcome To Corn Town.

The town itself wasn't big, but it had a vast array of fields for different kinds of crops, mainly corn, hence its name.

Some of the walls that circulated around the town were made up of large broken vehicles, concrete, thick logs and other things.

There were also a number of wooden watchtowers being built that he could hear the sound of machinery and the pounding of a hammer from a distance.

The town didn't have a proper source of electricity.

Instead, the people here were using a diesel-fueled generator to light up some parts of the town.

As he stood there, the knot in his stomach that he felt earlier became stronger.

A strong urge to turn away and ran welled up inside of him.

A voice suddenly spoke inside his head.

'Go on. Leave. What are you waiting for?'

Nathan gritted his teeth.

'Weren't you procrastinating all this time because you didn't care about anyone?'

He clenched his fists.

'Aren't you a lone wolf?'

He tried to move his feet forward.

'Oh, come on. Stop forcing yourself. You know that this isn't what you want.'

"Shut up."

'You know that nothing good is waiting for you inside.'

"I SAID SHUT UP!"

He was finally able to move his feet forward and entered the town.

The voice inside his head stopped as well.

However, he still felt a knot in his stomach.

A few minutes later…

Nathan was headed to the center of the town.

Earlier, he climbed one of the buildings nearby to get a layout of the town.

He noticed there was a large bonfire in the middle and there were people gathered around it as if they were waiting for a spectacle to happen.

After seeing it and climbing down, he consciously didn't run there immediately.

Despite having the courage to enter the town, there were still some things that were gnawing at him so he decided to just walk.

With each step, his feet felt heavier that it was almost like he was dragging them.

He even lost count on how many times he tried to convince himself that Amir wasn't here and was instead somewhere else.

Perhaps in the sewers, perhaps in another town, another city -- anywhere, as long as it wasn't here.

Nevertheless, he continued to head towards the center of the town.

He finally arrived at the center of the town…

A crowd was gathered around a large bonfire. 

Inside the circle, there was a Caucasian man in his mid-20s holding a bloodied dagger.

Behind him were four people tied to a post next to the bonfire. 

The four people were a Caucasian man in his early 50s, a Caucasian woman in her late 40s, an Asian man in his late teens, and a mixed-race little boy who was no older than 10 years old.

They were barely naked and were covered with many cuts and bruises, and were also missing a few parts of their body.

The man in his early 50s was missing two legs and a nose.

His neck was sliced open and was already dead.

Meanwhile, the other 3 were severely injured and looked like they could die any minute.

The woman had her eyes dug out and her tongue cut off.

The man in his late teens was missing an arm and a leg and had one of his ears cut off.

And lastly, the child had one eye and his teeth removed.

One can only imagine what kind of horrific tortures they've experienced.

Among the crowd, there there were a few that were wearing System items.

"I am your master! Those who choose to disobey me will face death!" said the man holding the bloodied dagger.

No one said a word, while the few people that were wearing System items sneered.

"You!" the man said as he pointed to someone among the crowd.

It was a young Caucasian boy.

The boy's eyes widened in horror and had a strong urge to hide behind his mother but chose not to.

"Do you see me as your master?" the man said.

The boy nodded.

"Then come to me."

The boy looked at his mother behind him.

His mother nodded.

He summoned all of his courage and stepped forward.

The man smiled and offered the dagger to the boy.

"Prove to me your loyalty."

The boy's hand trembled and he slowly took the dagger from the man's hand.

As the boy held the dagger on his trembling hands, he could see his own reflection on the blade.

His face was pale as a ghost.

"Louie! Just do it!" said the woman behind him.

"You heard your mother, boy," said the man.

Louie looked at his mother and then to the man.

His eyes were cold and a sinister smile was plastered on his face.

Louie tightened his gripped around the dagger's handle and approached one of the people tied to the post.

The person he approached was the young boy who was no older than 10 years old.

The bruised and wounded boy tied to post looked at Louie and forced a weak and toothless smile.

Louie looked away.

This boy in front of him was his schoolmate and one of his friends.

"My body hurts… End it…" the young boy pleaded.

Louie tightly shut his eyes and said, "I'm sorry, Cris," before slicing the young boy's neck.

Slit!

Blood poured down from the young boy's neck and he died after a few seconds.

The man started clapping his hands.

Clap!

Clap!

Clap!

"Very good! Very good!"

The man looked at the people.

The crowd started clapping as well.

Clap!

Clap!

Clap!

The man made a gesture with his hand, ordering the people stopped clapping.

He went over to the boy and took the dagger.

"You have pleased this master. Now, let me present my gift to you for your loyalty."

He snapped his fingers.

Snap!

On one side of the crowd, people made way for an incoming group.

There were three people and each of them was walking with a human-dog on a leash.

These "human-dogs" had their limbs chopped off but just enough to let them crawl or walk on four legs. 

Their eyes were dug out, their teeth pulled out and their hair completely shaved off.

They were also naked. The only piece of clothing they had was the leash on their neck that was attached to a chain.

There were 2 women and 1 man.

The man was a Muwinian.

Meanwhile, the two women, one was Caucasian and the other was black.

The three human-dogs were led in front of the man and Louie.

"Choose one pet. Don't worry, they have been trained. Whatever you want them to do, they will do it," the man said and smiled.

Louie was horrified by the sight.

The human-dogs were literally acting like dogs.

They had their tongues out and showing off their private parts.

Louie gathered up all of his courage and pushed all his fears away.

"I choose that one, master."

He pointed at the black woman.

The man made a signal and the black woman human-dog was brought to Louie.

As soon as the black woman human-dog got next to Louie, it immediately pressed its nose against his groin area and started licking.

"Enjoy your pet. Run along now," the man said and smiled.

Louie returned to his mother's side along with the human-dog pet.

"Who else here wants to prove their loyalty to this master?" the man said as he swept his gaze over at the crowd.

A black man raised his hand.

"I would like to prove my loyalty to you, master."

The man smiled.

"Then come over here!"

Nathan, who was invisible, stood silently as he watched in horror.

His face was as pale as a ghost.

He recognized two of the human dogs.

One was Amir and the other was the black woman.

When he saw his own cousin crawling and acting like a dog, that imaged burned right through his skull and left him completely aghast.

In Nathan's mind, although he did some sick and sadistic things, what he saw tonight was on a completely different level.

At least with him, he kills his enemies right away once they served their purpose.

But to break someone's spirit, strip them off of their dignity and let them live like that, that was something just too cruel, too diabolical even for him.

Time continued to pass and the gathering finally came to an end…

People returned to their homes to call it a night while a few others patrolled the area.

The flashes of lightning and the sound of thunder became more frequent. 

It was going to rain soon.

Nathan continued standing still, staring blankly and still processing what just happened.

'Am I to blame for all of this?'

'But I almost died from the D1 so I had no choice to power up.'

'After that, I was blackmailed by Rose and she tried to kill me.'

'And then the Divine Tower appeared and I couldn't just ignore it.'

'I even almost died inside there twice.'

'There's no way it can be my fault.'

'I'm simply a victim of circumstances here.'

His mind drifted away and he recalled a memory…

Nathan is your average 24-year old man. Just like everyone else, he experienced both pain and happiness in his life which shaped him into the man who he is. 


One day, God unleashed a zombie apocalypse and gave humanity the System that allows them to level-up, forever changing the world. And among the humans, there are beings called Chosen Ones who are slightly better off than the average humans. 


Follow the journey of a man who slowly descends into madness as he survives in a zombie apocalypse and rises to power. 


Author's note: I took some ideas from the novel [God and Devil World].

The Episode opens with the ship sailing on the ocean. It's a beautiful sunny day with great winds pushing the boat thru the waters. Inside ther cabin is king Orion, hes entering information into his captain's log. Meanwhile, it cuts to outside on the ship's deck where various members of the Royale army can be found goofing off. We see a group of knights in the center of the deck arm wrestling, while their fellow brothers in arms are getting drunk cheering them on. It then shows another group of knights standing on the deck overlooking the beauty of the ocean. The members then begins to reminisce on past events while sharing a few drinks.

Story 1: knight's tale pt1
      One of the men members speaks ups. He begins to talk about how one day after returning home from a trip with the King, their path were  blocked by a group of women in their mid to early 30's. They are standing on the road. As the men approach the 3 ladies, 

the women begin to cry out "fair knights help us please" the men stop, the King speaks ups "good afternoon ladies for I'm king Orion, the king of the land of Obadiah, and these are my band of my Royale knights. what may be thys problem my fair lady?" One of the woman steps forward and begins to tell the King why they need help. 
"My Lord, us three ladies are refugees, we had fled from our homes in the Kingdom of louie      due to a most recent battle. All 3 of our husbands were killed battle defending the kingdom." "Im sorry to hear that, the king says. Death is not easily accepted" the other Knights then shake their heads that's is right my lord a knight says. Knights are warriors! To have died in combat is the most honorable way a knight to past. He tells the group of widows. The ladies then begin to go into more detail. "Yes we know, but thats not why we need help. King louie is being cruel and unjust" "How so" King Orion says. "for He will not grant us 3 the permission to bury our fallen  husbands who were Knights in his Army. What a knight says in an angry tone, it is only fair for a wife to see and bury her fallen husband yay the other knight says, does thous king have any honor for his knights? No another woman tells them he doesn't! And that's not even the bad part the lady says. Oh the king says. Yes. The king told us that if we ever wanted to see our dead husbands again, then we must join him in his kingdom as his royale concubines" The women goes on to tell King and his men. that they then fled from the Kingdom they have been waiting here for 3 days now waiting on someone to help. How cruel and unjust Orion  says to the ladies. For a king to treat his people like this…. its unthinkable. Fear not ladies for king Orion and the Royale knights of Obadiah will take care of your problem for you. Yea the other 2 knights say dry your tears, for you will be able to bury your love ones soon enough the knight says as the head towards the kingdom of louie.

Once inside the kingdom walls, the group heads towards the castle to talk to the king. The group approaches the castle but they are greeted by king louie's, Royale guardsman.

Halt, for no mere commoner is able to meet with the king of this land, a knight says as him an a partner block the entrance to the castle with spears. For I am no mere commoner guardsmen, for I am king Orion, lord of the land of Obadiah, my father, and these two knights are members of my Royale army. For we have traveled a far distance to speak with your king, please allow us passage, Orion tells the guardsmen. 
Both guardsmen take a knee. 
Thousands apologies my Lord for I did not know that it was you king Orion one  Guardsman says. Yes, please forgive us his partner says. For you and your Royale knights are granted passage.
The men travel thru the castle searching for king louie, they eventually find him seated on his throne on a balcony overlooking the land. 
Who are you and what business do you have in my Throne Room King Louis asks the men. Your royalness, Orion says kneeling before King louie with his head down. He then stands up; for I am king Orion, king of the land of Obadiah and these are my Royale knights, for we have traveled to your kingdom today on a request. He tells louie.  Request? King louie stayed in a confused tone. Yay Orion says. While returning home from mission my knights and I were encountered by 3 fair maidens. They were from the kingdom of louie, the maidens went on to tell us how they are being refused to bury their husbands bodies. Excuse me King O'Brien but this is no concern to the king of Obadiah King louie tells Orion. This maybe so king Orion says to him, but from one king to another we both know this is unjust. So how about a duel of single combat. You choose your strongest knight and I'll choose one of my knights and if my knight wins then  you must allow those women to bury their husbands corpses. And if my knight wins? The king asks. Then you can have one of my knights as your own. King louie stares at Orion briefly stroking his chin. Why not louie says. He then calls forth his warrior, suddenly a huge man walks in easily 8ft tall covered in armor enters louie's throne room. Meet Henry king louie says, hes by far the strongest knight in the kingdom. I received him from the Coliseum during the trade with the emperor of Rome. Ya see, Henry here use to be a gladiator, he was one of the best. Having faced many beasts from lions, tigers and wolves to even exotic beasts as well. 
    He has quite a resume, Orion says to louie he sounds like a very strong warrior. So, Orion says as he turns around to look at his two knights. Which one of you wants to do battle?  
       I will my Fair King Joan says as she steps up to compete in solo combat against Henry. Feel free orion says as he steps aside. Hey wait a sec. John says to Joan, let me take this guy he says as he smashes his fist into his hand. This guy looks like he can fight, John says sizing Henry up. I'm sorry, Joan says John as she walks past him towards her opponent. But I just can't sit back and watch such debauchery take place she says. I will defeat you not just for my king, but also for those ladies,  she says to her opponent as she draws her weapon; A great sword in her right and a buckler shield in her left. For they have a right to bury their husbands, she states as she readies himself for battle. Haha, that's a bold claim to be making, coming from a woman. Henry says, Joan tightens her grip. Fine if you wanna be like that he says to her as he draws both weapons, in the right hand he wields a gladius, an in his left he wields Spatha. For the record, I despair battling against women. But once a lady arms herself with armour and a blade, then she is no longer a lady, but a knight. The to briefly stare each other down. I don't think this guy knows what he's getting himself into, the other that accompanied Orion says to him. Joan looked mad. Yea, I kinda feel sorry for the guy.
       The fight then begins! Henry quickly dashes straight towards Joan. Let's see how skilled you are with that blade he says as he tries to stab Joan in the stomach with the gladius. Joan using the length of the blade she Perry's the attack the the top of the sword. No faded, John quickly goes for a diagonal down slash with the Spatha, Joan quickly turns the sword upside down implanting the blade into the ground blocking the attack. Henry jumps back to regroup himself, while Joan pulls her sword outta the ground and aims it at Henry. It seems you are skilled with that blade, he says as he spits. I'll give you that, Joan just continues to stare at John. You use a big sword, to keep your opponents from getting in to close. Basically you are able to control the fight he says to Joan, but she keeps quiet, waiting for John to attack. John goes to rush in, using this as her chance; Joan quickly thrust the tip of her sword towards the face of John, he blocks and smiles. 
       Nice try John says as he rides both swords down the blade of Joan's great sword. Joan quickly strikes John in the chest knocking him back. That was a good attack Joan says, you almost had me. John then spits blood. I can tell that you are a very strong an skilled knight, But do you know why you won't win this duel today.  Henry begins to laugh very loudly as turns he to his king. My lord do you hear this.
        It then cuts back to king Orion and 5th captain. John. Yup this guys stupid John says to his king. Shhhhh you're gonna miss it Orion tells John. It then goes back to the duel. 
       No why don't you inform me… little girl he says talking down to her. Little girl Joan says to herself. Ok fine she says as she takes a step off of her back legend begins to thrust her sword very rapidly at the head of Henry, he dodges them by jumping back. Its because your, old and slow she says. This speed he says to himself as he moves hes head from left to right dodging the attacks. Come on is that all you got I thought you said I was slow he yells  at her he suddenly stops. Ahh, he yells as he checks his face. What, he says to himself she cut me but how. Joan then goes for a leg slash but Henry jumps over it. Ha come on now I'm not too old to jump, wait where'd she go. He asks looking around. Up here Joan yells as she comes down with a down slash. Huh Henry says as he looks up with just enough time to block the attack. Joan using the momentum flips over the back of John. She quickly flips the great sword behind her aiming it at Henry's head. Henry turns around but it's too late.  Do you yield she asks him. I yield he says to her as he lowers his head. King Charles is stunned in disbelief, what he yells. This is an outrage! You stupid behemoth of a man let yourself be defeated by a woman. Henry then kneels sorry my king for I have failed you. Guards! King Charles angrily shouts, take this man to the dungeons. Guard enter the throne room and takes Henry to the dungeons. 
       Well a deal's a deal Orion says to Charles. Fine, fine Charles says those hags can have the bodies, I have no more use for them anyway; Gruards, bring the coffins in, king Charles yells and snaps his left fingers. Just then Royale guards then bring 3 coffins in the throne room. King Orion, here are the fallen bodies of the three knights that I have been with holding, Charles says to him, for your Royale knight for a women she fights well. Not only is she beautiful, but She's a real warrior as well He tells him. 
       You know, he says as he descends from his throne and walks over to third captain Joan. I could really use a unique warrior such as yourself on my team he says to Joan kissing her right hand. King Charles, I'm flattered she says quickly yanking her hand from him; but I have  duties as well as obligations she says to him walking towards king Orion and turns around; And protecting my king comes first and defending my kingdom is a close second. Besides, I've seen how you treat not only women that reside in your land, but close knights too, I want nothing to do with you. You messily commoner, I am Royalty and you will what how you speak about me in my presence king Charles tells Joan. King Orion then interjects to defuse the tension. Alright, alright Orion says as he kneels before king Charles; king Charles Orion says, pardon the rudeness of my knight a thousand pardons I ask that you please forgive her Orion says to him. Thank you for the bodies he says as he stands up, I hope that we can one day do business again. King Charles looks at Orion, he then walks back over to his throne. Perhaps king Charles says to the king of Obadiah kingdom, I can tell that you have strong warriors as well as beautiful women,  we may be able to come to an agreement in the future he tells him. Thanks Orion says as him and the other two knights take a coffin and they exit the castle. 
       It then cuts to the three traveling back towards the three windowed ladies. My king Joan says to him. What's up Joan Orion asks him. Why did you kneel before him back there she asks him. Because,  Orion tells her. Sometimes it's better to show respect even when one is wrong. Think about it, the only reason we ventured to the kingdom of Charles was because we were trying to get back the bodies of the women's husbands.  Once we did that we were finished, but by doing that, we were able to prove that we were the superiors king Orion says to her. Joan stays quiet thinking to herself. King Orion, he's a very wise man to be the age he is. He many come of as laid back, but in fact he's very alert able to always make the right decision in many scenarios she says to herself staring at the back of Orion. 
       After some time of traveling on the road the group comes across the three Widow maidens. There they are king Orion says. Yea I can see them myself my lord, John says to Orion. Yes now these women can finally put these men to rest Joan says. Right Orion turns his head to the right side as he says to Joan. Hey, king Orion cries out yelling at the three women.  Were back he continues on waving his arm. The women then begin to cheer. Thank you king Orion and his Royale knights, one women says. Yes, another one says for you and your men are brave and real strong. For I will tell this story everywhere I go an only speak good and righteous words about the kingdom of Obadiah. Thank you king Orion says as he bows, I would deeply appreciate that. And to you the last woman says to Joan. You really inspired me today the woman tells her. For if I was brave and strong like you I could've been able to do it myself. But no more as of I will learn how to be a strong woman just like you Joan.  And I will tell of what you did today as well the woman proudly boasts. Joan does nothing but smile. She then bows to the woman to, thank you Joan says to her as she tears up a little. Just doing my job as a Royale knight she says as she stands up and salutes the woman. King Orion and the two others get ready to leave, they say their final goodbyes and everyone goes in opposite directions. The king and his group heads towards Obadiah, while the three maidens head home to the kingdom of Charles. 

   

The almighty voyage is about how a king and his Royale knights go on a voyage to attempt to find a Divinely Garden of fable with the hopes of attaining supernatural/Divinely powers/abilities. When a member of the Royale guard isn't chosen to go on the voyage, he teams up with a member of the kingdoms council and they form a pact acquiring supernatural/Divinely powers another way. leading to a civil war within the kingdom. Along the way the king and the Royale knights will meet Templars, members of the order of the assassin's and uncover many truths as well as legends that this world  holds.This is the Almighty Voyage
