I am dropping this fanfiction- no, more precisely, it is on an indefinite hiatus until I wish to rewrite it. I just received my new PC, and there was 0 way to recover my old files.

I am a manly man!...

That didn't stop me from bawling over a stupid fanfiction I wrote for 2 hours, lol. I understand that this disappoints all 706 of you, as it does me. I am sorry for disappointing you all.

Writing is basically the anti-depressant to my depression, the anxiety pill to my anxiety, the entertainment to my chronic boredom. When all that hard work I did won't even see the light of day, it genuinely hurts. 

I am too disappointed in myself to even consider writing "Universe: Kai" right now. I am switching over, to be precise. 

Dragon Ball fanfictions probably won't be on my radar for a while, I'll be writing a Naruto fanfiction instead. If you wanna check that one out, go ahead, it's on my profile; it'll be similar to Universe: Kai in the fact that the main character is in a position of power.

I'll try my best to revisit this story after I finish that fanfiction, this is my true passion project to finish before High School. I want Universe: Kai to exist, and be something big. Unfortunately, I can't make that happen right now.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage of Konohagakure, stared at the newly returned group with wide eyes and a frown. In front of him was a once member of ANBU who was thought to be KIA on a mission gone wrong. Hiruzen waved his hand, dismissing the group save the ravenette Uchiha who was still in a kneeling position in front of his desk.

"Rise, Uchiha Yami-san." Hiruzen ordered, his face going blank. "Tell me, if you have been alive all this time, why have you not returned to Konoha? That makes you a rogue ninja."

After I recovered from my injuries, I learned about the massacre. They said there were no survivors. Believing that I was the only one left of my clan, I lost my will to live. For the longest, I traveled searching for a reason to keep going. Yami signed; his pain showing in his eyes despite trying to hide it.

"Why sign? Can you not speak?" Hiruzen asked softly, honestly wanting to know.

With great reluctance, Yami took hold of his crimson sash and slipped it from around his waist. His black hanten shirt followed the crimson material to the floor. With quick hands, Yami unwrapped the white bandages from around his torso and lower face. Hiruzen's jaw fell at the sight of the gruesome pink scar that ran a jagged curve from the right side of Yami's torso between two ribs and up to his left cheek bone.

"How did you survive that?" Hiruzen whispered, knowing how fatal receiving such a wound was.

Yami shrugged, not understanding it either. He rewrapped his lower face and torso and replaced his hanten and sash before Hiruzen began talking again.

"Where is your hitai-ate?"

With the old couple that saved my life.

Hirzen smiled slightly before taking a black clothed hitai-ate from one of his desk drawers and setting it on top of a stack of papers.

"I understand why you did what you did. You are welcome to join back with the ranks, but your skills will have to be tested."

Sir, I have become a Sage in recent years and have not lacked in training despite my travels. I would like to maintain my Jonin status. Yami stated, causing Hiruzen to choke on the smoke of his pipe.

"With the Arachnids?" Hiruzen questioned, surprised.

Yami nodded as he tied his hitai-ate to the left side of his sash. Hiruzen smiled.

"Genin teams will be sorted in a few days. Would you like to take one on?" Hiruzen asked.

Charcoal black eyes widened slightly.

Are you sure that's best, Sir?

"I have an ANBU that I am forcing into retirement and I know that he will do his best to be lazy about teaching this particular team of genin that is if they pass his test. I want you to be co-leader if you want to."

Sir—

"Uchiha Sasuke will be on this team."

That shut Yami up quickly. With a tense nod, Yami agreed. Hiruzen's smile morphed into a grin.

"Good. You are dismissed. I am sure you wish to see your cousin and get your place cleaned up." Hiruzen voiced and Yami slowly walked out of the Hokage's tower.

Standing inside the Uchiha Clan compound felt strange yet comforting to Yami. He was anxious to see his young cousin, but he was nervous about how the boy would react to him. He calmly made his way to his house. He noted how wore the place looked on the outside from years of neglect and hoped that the inside fared better. Dust covered every surface with a thick layer and Yami was glad that his mouth and nose was covered. He signed.

'I think I'll hire some genin to clean the du—'

"What are you doing in here? This is Uchiha property." A harsh tone broke Yami from his thoughts.

He turned around to face the person he had sensed approaching. The boy was no older than twelve and was sporting a traditional Uchiha shirt with its high collar and clan symbol. White shorts and blue sandals completed his attire. Familiar charcoal black eyes glared threateningly at Yami, but he was too busy staring at the boy's unusual ducktail-like hair style.

Sasuke Yami signed, but the boy just took up a fighting stance.

Yami held up a finger, confusing the boy. Slipping his hand inside the hidden pocket of his hanten, Yami pulled out a single piece of paper and used a chakra tipped finger to write a message. He held it up for the boy to see.

"'Sasuke, I am Uchiha Yami, your cousin.'" Sasuke read aloud.

Uncertainty filled the boy and Yami could see it through his stance. He activated his Sharingan to prove it. Sasuke gasped, his body shaking. Yami deactivated his doujutsu, but stayed where he was. Sasuke's posture relaxed from a fighting stance, but Yami could see how tense the boy remained.

"You died during a mission. I went to your funeral…to everyone's…" Sasuke trailed off, his hands balling up at his sides as he glared down at the ground.

The rustling of paper caused the boy to look up.

"'An old couple saved me. Heard about massacre and thought I was the last. Lost the will to live. Traveled in search of a reason.'" Sasuke once again read the message out loud.

Sasuke fell to his knees, his hands bracing him from falling completely down. Kneeling down in front of him, Yami placed a hand on Sasuke's head in silent comfort.

After Sasuke had calmed down enough to gather himself up off of the dusty floor, he made Yami follow him to the main house and had him agree to stay with him with the excuse of Yami's house being unfit to live in. The two were currently sitting at the dining table about to eat the dinner Sasuke had cooked up. Given most of it contained tomatoes, Yami was not one to complain. He lifted his chopsticks to his mouth and caught Sasuke staring at him. Amusement lit up his eyes when he saw the boy's shoulders slump when the food phased through the wraps covering Yami's lips.

"How did you do that?" Sasuke wondered out loud.

Fuinjutsu. Yami signed.

Sasuke's brows furrowed. Seeing this, Yami took out another piece of paper.

"'Fuinjutsu.' You can't talk, can you?" Sasuke asked quietly.

Yami shook his head. It was not like he could not speak, it was just that he did not like to speak. The scar messed with his voice box and it causes his voice to be hoarse and cracks when he tries to talk. Dropping the subject, the two ate in silence.

Chapter 1: To New Beginnings
 
"Hey Chiko-chan, smile!" She blinked and looked back, putting on a huge grin.
In the middle of the summer, on the longest day of the year, a little girl was born. The island was rushing with its everyday routines: vendors were screaming prices of their wares and couples walked through the busy streets, hand in hand.
The sun was shining with all it's might, but thanks to the few clouds littering the sky, the day was that much less hotter, which was deemed as perfect temperature for everyone to be seen outside. After all, the afternoon rays of sun were 'deadly', as all the mothers would say to their children and their lover.
Smiles and cheerful chatter could be heard. Ice cream melted down children's hands. The waves by the shore were occupied by families and citizens, all wanting to cool down a bit from the blazing sun.
And on that day, a little girl came to the world screaming. Her screams were piercing, to which the parents smiled tiredly at their new little ray of sunshine. Not even this warm day could compare to the warmth that filled their hearts the moment they set eyes on the screaming, pink, wrinkly human that laid in the nurse's arms. The nurse cheerfully noted that the little girl would be quite the chatterbox growing up.

Seconds phased into minutes phased into hours phased into days phased into weeks phased into months until her eyes flashed with recognition. The two months and one week old infant woke up in the middle of the night, the urge to start screaming was very tempting because of something gross that stuck to her lower parts. It was extremely uncomfortable and it even started to actually hurt.
But what was more interesting was the thing above her. The hanging toys. It slowly turned and moved above her, stopping the baby from screaming and yelling on the top of her lungs. Instead, there was confusion.
What is that?
But now her lower parts felt even more uncomfortable, so she let go of the resistance of the urge to scream. She could faintly hear the groans from the other room.

Ah. So this is a thing.
She blinked as her 'okaa-san' cooed at her, despite her not being able to see all that well. Things were still ever so slightly blurry to her, but she could recognize the person trying to play with her. Dark brown hair, that was the easier feature to see. It looked long. And nice to the touch. So, filled with determination of a new mission, the baby reached her hands out to the person in front of her. Percingly, the person let out an inhuman squeal, which made the baby flinch, but still reach out. So the person in front of the baby brought their face closer, which shocked the baby if anything.
Bright green eyes.
Pretty…
Oh well. The good looking hair was within grabbing distance. So with one reach and a tug that would make even renown marines flinch, the women let out a painful yelp.

She decided that she liked her new set of parents. They were cheerful and made their small house be filled with warmth and love. Something that she found that she lacked quite a bit in her past life. These parents would take her out in the town, would show her the beach and would do picnics under large trees. They would blow raspberries to her cheeks and stomach, making her squirm and let out gurgled laughter.
It was warm, and despite how much it stung to leave her beloved people from a lifetime ago, she couldn't help but start loving this new life. She didn't mind letting go of her past people, because she had lived a full life, one with love and happiness. And she died just like how she wanted: in her sleep. A shorter life than most, but diseases attack more unexpectedly sometimes. Some nights, her mind would wander to her previous family, wondering how they felt with her passing. Hopefully they did not react too badly.
She had hoped to see her already passed husband and best friend again though. There were so many religions going around about the afterlife, so it was fun to think about what would happen after death. But she was an atheist at heart, so she did not linger on the thought too much. Nonetheless, it was a shock to return to a world, with a fresh new start in a fresh new squishy body.
"Oh shit- it's starting to rain! We need to go home!" The one that loved calling himself her father swore and stood up from where they were all sitting under a large tree. She felt herself being picked up by her mother. "Argh! Can't a woman take a nap?!"
Another gurgled laugh was let out when she was placed in her safe, waterproof stroller and tied up, while her parents screamed as they ran to our house. A fresh life full of opportunities opened up to this reborn child, and she was not going to waste it and stop having fun for a second.

"Ok, remember Chiko-chan, smile! Alright, go on ahead, take the picture!"
Her mother stood by the child's left while the father grinned by her right. Chiko grinned, her heart swelling with love.
She was so incredibly lucky. But she couldn't help but feel some sort of doubt sometimes fill her, as if there was some sort of bad omen on her.
Why?
Because her new parents named her Hachiko. Just like that japanese dog that waited for over a decade for his dead owner by a train station, only to eventually die.
She hoped it was only speculation.

So I've completely lacked the motivation for the war era Naruto fanfic, but I've written A LOT for this fanfiction, so I'm sure I'll be able to finish it xxx
What to say about this fanfiction...well, firstly this chapter is very short. No worries, it'll get much longer for literally every other chapter. What's more is that, well you may have noticed that this is a reincarnation si-oc fanfic! I'm making sure that she doesn't become Mary Sue and that there won't be many other OCs, besides her of course.

I'm planning on uploading three chapters at once so that you all have a big preview about what's to come. Also cause the backstory is these three first chapters. Wake up somewhere around five o'clock, wash up, eat. That was my morning routine. Then pass some time on the internet. Watching too many movies on my phone will use up my data faster so stick with reading ebooks and maybe even fanfiction, even if I feel like a child when I do.

There was no point in being embarrassed though. Seeing as there was no one around to really laugh at my hobbies.

After internet hours, get dressed and ready for my first part-time. Get to the yard in time to catch some of the guys loading up the trucks. My work is basically a glorified gardener. Basically, take care of people's trees, trimming, pesticides, fertilizing. It was easy.

Except for the people. The people that want their trees taken care of have the yards to have trees and the money to do it. More often than not, they aren't kind. Definitely snooty.

When i first started, one lady wanted all the birch trees to be fertilized and the sycamores trimmed. I just wanted to ask her why she had a forest in her backyard. At the time, the guys enjoyed my pain and told me to figure out which were which.

When I went home that day, I made sure to research all the types of trees. It was boring.

After my first part-time, i go home, maybe wash again and change for my second part time job. I am a janitor for a school. I am mostly there for after school activities. Kids and their sports activities or the clubs that leave messes in the classrooms.

The second job is much harder than the first. I have no problem cleaning. My mother always had me cleaning when I was young. Or younger.

It's because i don't mind cleaning, that I'm good at it too, that the other janitors push their responsibilities onto me. Sometimes, I can refuse and leave but other times, they are too insistent and I agree. The teachers also like me cleaning their rooms. The custodian manager likes this and encourages me to take their rooms as well.

The others laugh because I can't say no.

I get bullied a lot. Becoming an adult didn't help.

After that part time job, it's time to go home. On the commute back, I may got off at the park and walk around for a bit, back on my phone and scrolling through whatever distraction catches my eyes.

Then I eat and go to sleep sometime around ten o'clock.

Sometimes I have to make room in my schedule to go shopping. I just visit the small mini-mart near my small apartment and find the cheapest products to last me the longest time.

I live very... sparingly. i don't spend money much on things except for gems or gold in my games and I might buy chapters on novels i like.

That's my life. I have no close friends, most of my family has passed away and the rest don't like me so I keep my space. I was never really close to people from my school days.

If I think too hard about my life, it makes me a little depressed so I don't think too hard about it. Instead, I lose myself in games and books and movies. When that doesn't work, I take care of the plants scattered around my house. I even named most of them and talk to them.

Yes, depressing indeed.

Today was going to be no different. At least, that was what I thought before the tree tried to eat me and successfully strangled my coworker until his head popped off.

Mikel Moor has just started his adult life and he's had an... abysmal start so far. He coasts along in life, mostly alone, without much direction.

Honey stares at the journal  in front of her and writes. I guess I need to explain what is happening.  See ten years ago today I died and met Arceus who told me that the villian group I created has come to life to try to destroy the world.

 That because it was my fault for creating this mafia type villian team that I had to go to the Pokemon world and fix my mess. That I would be reborn as the protagonist that I created and abandoned in my last fanfiction.

I was reborn as Honey Ketchum daughter of Giovanni and Lance Blackthorn's sister Delia, who changed her last name to Ketchum. Delia changed her last name because she married Giovani who's last name just so happens to be Ketchum. That means that I am Ash Ketchum's older sister by ten years. 

My hair is at shoulder length and is dark brown and wavy. I have amber colored eyes like my uncle Lance Blackthorn. For the gym challenge for my offical trainer outfit I choose to  wear black tights, a red long sleeved shirt and a grey jacket.

Honey stops writing in her journal when she hears her aunt Kelly yell," Honey it's time for you to leave to go get your starter with Leon and Henry! Oh and Henry is here to walk with you to the lab sweetie!"

Honey stops writing and rush's around her room to gather her backpack and supplies. After tripping over her shoes when she was searching. Honey stops and puts her shoes on and runs downstairs.

Kelly grins," Honey I invited Henry in when you did not answer." Henry has been my longest lasting friend and is Professor Magnolia's grandson.
He has a problem where if he does not wear his mask his face and the air surrounding it blurs. This causes the effect of his face looking like a background character that has a black area where his face should be. It's quite frightening to see his face without the mask on and has been know to cause pokemon and people to run away in terror. 

"Aunt Kelly you know I hate it when you let Henry in because he takes all the good snacks for himself."

"Well you have come down sooner you know I told you to pack yesterday." Kelly pulls her own long red hair into a ponytail and looks up at me with purple eyes.

Henry joins the conversation with," Well Honey we better get going if you want a chance to choose your pokemon today." Henry's yellow frowny face mask with v shaped eyebrows stairs at me.

Honey grabs Henry while sreaming," Aunt Kelly I will see you later when I leave at the train station!" Before Kelly could reply Honey and Henry had already ran out the front door to go to Professor Magnolia's house.

"Okay Henry we need to pick up Leon before we go to Professor Magnolia's house to pick our starters and get our league recommendations from her too." She said this while tugging the tall ten year old behind her. They both went past a field filled with different types of pokemon helping the farmers with their work.

Finally they got there when they saw a boy wearing a yellow hazmat suit and a black gas mask. This boy says," ha I've been waiting for the past four hours to tell ya that Leon already left. He's being endorsed by the chairman and has been given a charmander. Oh by the way I'm the third person picking up a pokemon from Professor Magnolia's with you. The Professor has a very special pokemon waiting just for me. She did say before I pick it up though to walk with you to over there to guide the way."







Life is hard enough for Honey Stronghold living for a second time in Pokemon. Not to mention having this second life based off of a character she created with her friend. Well here comes Honey and her journey in Pokemon in Galar before Leon becomes champion
