The visit to Diagon Alley was quite fruitful for William. It confirmed that this is truly Harry Potter world. 

William drawn some conclusion after his visit, first is there is no mention of time period before birth of Harry Potter, so his advantage reduced and second he had to stay clear from Dark Lord matter until his strength become significant compared to Dark Lord or Dumbledore. 

Although William felt some doubts, he was confident that he could become wizard. Because for the moment, when he just transferred into original body he felt some weak trace of blue energy. When he just entered Diagon Alley, he felt that energy once again. Even though he did not know, if that energy is magical energy, it is the most probable explanation. 

First thing he did after his trip, to review all the  books. Books were quite easy to understand compared to modern day high school curriculum. But he knew, in Wizarding world theory will remain theory without practical it would be useless for diving deeper into the study. 

From what he could remember there is no mention of meditation in Harry Potter books. Anyway he did not have anything to do he decided to add one hour daily meditation before exercise in morning. 

Meditation is nothing but being in natural state and empty all thoughts from mind. Even though he could not feel magical energy, his perception of surrounding become clear and his thought process became smooth. William had feeling that meditation will be key for learning Occlumency. 

William sets himself two goals for next two years. One is to earn money as much as possible to support his future endeavors and two feel magical energy to practice as many spells as possible. 

During following year many changes happened in William. He got taller due regular physical exercises. Most noticible change was his eyes, his pupil changed from black to blue. With black hair, fair skin and blue eyes he looked quite charming. 

The change in his eyes happened during half year ago, when to earn significant money he decided to use previous life talent that is of course fishing. The requirement of large and fresh fish is very important in London as Fish and Chips was one of the favorite dish in London. 

When he jumped into the river to obtain large fish, his long forgotten magical energy starts to move on itself. After that time he was like fish in water and he had earned his first bucket of money from river. From that time, he decided to practice his control his magical energy and continue his meditation inside water where he can feel some sort of belonging. 

Although he felt abundance of magical energy  it was very hard for him to guide his magical energy. For better control of magical energy he decided to empty his reserves by practicing spells. Transfugration was quite hard for him compared to charms but by trial and error method he became quite proficient in all first years subjects. 

William thought, "I have to at least get a basic understanding about Occlumency and Legilimency in next year, so I can protect my secrets properly" 

Although it was very hard, he determined to properly shield his mind. And for that to happen he got wonderful idea that is of course meditate inside of water and then try Occlumency.

 Welcome back and long time no see! It has certainly been a while since I have written a review for a book, fiction, or nonfiction.
On today's list, we have the most recent book I have read, part of a tetralogy, the first volume of four.
My opinion (Spoiler-free): This book is beautiful, and the prose is astounding. Kate Griffin has done an amazing job, making me fall in love with not only the world but the characters as well. I recommend it with all my heart. So, without further ado, I will jump into a bit more detail, trying not to spoil the whole thing!
Title: "A Madness of Angels"
Genre: Urban Fantasy
Synopsis (taken from Amazon itself, so I will put it in quotes): 
"Two years after his untimely death, Matthew Swift finds himself breathing once again, lying in bed in his London home.
 
Except that it's no longer his bed or his home. And the last time this sorcerer was seen alive, an unknown assailant had gouged a hole so deep in his chest that his death was irrefutable...despite his body never being found.
 
He doesn't have long to mull over his resurrection, though, or the changes that have been wrought upon him. His only concern now is vengeance. Vengeance upon his monstrous killer and vengeance upon the one who brought him back."
 
 
So, as you can see, the book follows a sorcerer who comes back to life in unusual circumstances, a dude-with-a-problem story, mixed with why-dun-it for extra mystery! In the spirit of full transparency, the first few pages were a bit hard for me – elaborate sentences, and a general sense of vagueness – but once you get through them it's a complete joy ride. I have read the whole series – that's how much I have fallen in love with Matthew and his personality.
 
The only annoying thing I found was that there are only four books! I really wished she continues the series, instead of jumping to a new one but I do understand why she wanted to start another project. As a fellow writer, I salute you Kate, and wish you all the best! I have read some reviews about it on Goodreads, stating that she spends too much time detailing unimportant things, but I loved all of them. It painted a complete picture not only of the outside world but also of the inner turmoil Matthew is experiencing, without spoiling the mystery at all.
 
After reading this series, I even have had a hard time finding something equally good, which is a great sign for her and a bad one for me; how can I ever survive without my books?!
 
So, let's rate it, shall we?
 
Plot: 10/10 (Astounding idea)
Characters (development, arc, and all that fun stuff): 10/10
Worldbuilding: 9/10. Still amazing but, after reading the whole series, I do feel like the first book could have portrayed it even better! I should probably take into consideration that she wasn't super into the world herself, being the first volume, so I guess that, as a newbie, it's only natural not to be perfect at everything from the get-go).
Title: 10/10.  I loved the title; it builds the anticipation for the plot perfectly!
Pacing: 10/10, not too fast and not too slow.
Prose: 9/10. While at some moments her descriptions were a bit too elaborate, Kate has done an amazing job nonetheless.
 
I rarely get to gush about a book so much, but this one really gripped me and made me laugh. Matthew is so lovable and yet super relatable at times that it got me thinking about how this world of ours needs more magic! It's exactly what I love about fantasy and until this, I wasn't a big urban fantasy fan. My allegiance was with dark and high fantasy, but Kate proved me wrong so that is why I am fangirling over this so much!
 
Do keep in mind that this is my opinion and I am not a certified reviewer; I am just a bookworm sharing my thoughts on the books I have read so far! If you do decide to give this book a chance, I would be thrilled to hear your thoughts on it. Cheers and have a great reading session.

Harry finally regaining his consciousness, welcomed by an unfamiliar roof, a weird sense of Déjà vu came but remembering what happened he turned to the side, a goblin stepped into the room walked towards him "Mr Potter it's good to see you up, you've been asleep for a while now". Harry groggily sat up "what time is it?" he asks as it's hard to tell in the underground rooms of Gringotts. "It's currently 8:30 pm, after you've eaten the food prepared, I'll lead you to your account manager".
 
 A meal and short walk later he was back in AM Griphooks office, "Welcome back Mr. Potter, you look like you've had better days" his voice laced with a hint of sarcasm " anyways I believe you've got the location of the Potters properties" too tired to care he crashed into the chair in front of the desk. If Griphook was annoyed, he didn't show.
 
 Griphook observing Harry before replying "yes Mr Potter I have it prepared for you", Harry looking through the list glanced at Griphook "there are houses in various locations, but how come there are no businesses in my portfolio? Surely with a house like mine there should have been quite a few". Griphook shakes his head "Mr Potter during the last war your parents liquidated and basically sold off all shares in order to fund their side of the war efforts, what's left in your account is the remainder of what they had and sizeable donations from sympathisers and well-wishers for your defeat of the Dark Lord".
 
"During our investigation of your transitions, the money taken out of your vaults were being transferred to one Petunia Dursley for your upbringing. Normally only the owner of a vault has any say in where their money should go however the Ministry agreed to a ruling that allows funds to be allocated to your next guardian, seeing as all your elected guardians were indisposed."
 
 "if possible help me open up a Muggle account and transfer most of what's in my trust vault to it". With a nod Griphook replied "I'll be done Mr Potter"
 
 "I guess that'll be all, till next time AM Griphook" With a brief admission they parted ways, Griphook musing as he quietly mused "farewell Mr Potter, it'll be interesting for Albus Dumbledore to discover he's no longer your Magical Guardian due to his negligence", Harrys was surprised by this as he barely caught what was said, he turned around to Griphook.
 Seeing his reaction he responded "Mr Potter the Wizards may be backwards but they're not that backwards, there are laws when it comes to things like this. From what's been discovered, he has failed in his responsibilities. However, we'll have to find one suitable, I'll compile a list of former Potters allies and send you a list to review and decide on."
 
 ["Well this certainly makes things interesting"] with a final nod, he exits the office. With his business at Gringotts concluded he exited to the sparsely occupied streets of Diagon Alley as it was passed closing time for most shops. Getting out of the by tailing a wizard towards the Leaky Cauldon he called Twinky, looking at the address he received from Griphook they were gone from the city of London.

Potters Manor
 
 Arriving at the location, the first thig Harry noticed was the dilapidated looking pathway leading up to a rusty metal gate with the Potters crest in the middle. Behind the gate a grandiose mansion could be seen, however it was clear it hasn't been looked after in a long time. "Home sweet home" as soon as he approached the property he felt his energy react to the gate, as if being judged a foreign energy from the gate washed through him, an instinctive feeling of being welcomed settled and the gates opened up.
 
 Exploring the mansion, he was greeted by different portraits of Potters, he even managed to find his grandfathers, one Charles Potter but no Lilly or James Potter were to be found. Having enough of exploring he called his house-elves "I want the both of you to clean this place up, also stock up on food and prepare my dinner, I'll be in the library" turning away he was directed by the portraits towards it.
 
 Arriving at his destination he saw a large wooden door that opened as he approached, beyond the door were rows upon rows of bookcases lined up, letting out a whistle he gazed at the collections old tomes and books "generations after generations of knowledge gathered, don't mind if I do". Approaching the first book ''le plus sage des sages… Come on! Why's it in French? Don't tell me that a lot of these aren't in English."
 
 Hoping his thoughts would be proven wrong he looked at the other books on the shelves going from one bookcase to the other, after 5 minutes of searching he crashed down onto the floor. "Why?! At least half of these books aren't in English, some are in languages I don't even recognise! And here I thought I'd be easy." A few more disgruntled murmuring could be heard as he thought about how unfair it was, letting out a sigh after his rant he sat up 'might as well collect all of them into my library.
 
 Unfortunately, he didn't have the ability to scan books with his senses yet, so began the process of picking up each individual book by hand flipping through pages before it copied to the library.
 
"Ouch!" Retracting his hands from a book he looked at his fingers, they were shallow cuts and a bit of blood could be seen "why do they put curses on their books?!" Now having discovered another quirk of wizards he had to re-evaluate his approach "it feels like something out there doesn't want me to have it easy" With a sigh he shook his head.
  However, he thought of something "Tuny!" With a pop the house elf appeared by his side "Yes Master Harry?" Large eager eyes bore into him as he shivered slightly ["still need to get used to them"] "From now on call me Hadrian also, can you sense if any of these books have curses on them, if you can bring the ones without any curses to me" "Yes Master Hadrian I can do that", so began the long process of scanning every book that was brought to him, this lasted into the night only pausing for something to eat.
 
 Soon enough he had about 60% of the library scanned into the LOHP however a majority of those were in different languages. "Looks like I'll have to add traveling into my plans, not that I wasn't going to anyway"
 
 Realising it was approaching morning he left to the master bedroom which was fully cleaned by the elves, thinking of how he'll have to learn a lot of languages he shook his head "I'll need to get my occlumency in shape for this to be easier."
 

A random soul following a fatal accident awakens in the fictional world of Harry Potter, with no recollection of his identity or familiar faces, how will he overcome the trials and tribulations he is to face while wearing the body of a recently deceased Harry Potter.

She already got into CIT but still, it does not stop Electrica's daughter from outnumbering her own talents. 


"Thank you, Mrs. Benette." Melan thanked her and headed out of the school office. 


The school was almost empty. The corridors had no students running in them. The usual hanging out by the lockers were all void. The playground only had a few players playing in it. 

High school did not go bad in Melan's perspective. It did go well subtracting the drama that happened yesterday. Her mother and his mother surely were deadly rivals of each other. She never ever saw her mother dearest acting so crazy and mad ever in this lifetime. 

She got out of the school building and looked up at the sky thinking John must have gotten into that plane taking him and his crazy family out from Miami to London. 

Ahhh....that cute dimple boy...damn his British  accent... 

She huffed getting reminded of their good old times.

The black Mercedes car drove John and his parents inside the palace-like house of his grandfather. 

The old vintage walls gave boring vibes to his young self. Although his mother could not contain the happiness within herself ultimately succeeding in bringing her son and that poverty sticker husband to live here in the midst of her father's riches. 

A princess, after all, returns to her castle anyway! 

The Mercedes stopped before the wide veranda and an old man in his late eighties stood static with the servants surrounding him in the sideways. 

John gave a look to his mother which Avery completely ignored. Paul looked back at his son in sheer shock too. 

"Father!" 

Avery exclaimed in happiness and ran up the twenty stairs hugging her old dad. The old man hugged his daughter back. 

"How have been you, father?" Avery asked smiling after pulling away from the hug. 

John and Paul stride up the stairs still questionable. Some muscular men taking away their luggage from the back of the car. 

"I have never been good my princess. My John is here too." the old man said and laughed when he saw John. 

He extended his arms for a hug from his only grandson. John obliges. Avery smiled in all joy
and turned to look at her husband who gave her a questioning look. She just rolled her eyes at him. 


"I heard you were in the hospital grandpa due to your poor heart?" John immediately questioned. 

"What?? Where did you hear those bullshit son? " The old man implored laughing. 

"But mother..." 

"Ahhh...I got it, son. You still have not gotten rid of that speaking big fake news huh? My Princess?" the old man interrupted John shortly turning to look at his daughter, who stood in silence smiling proudly. 

Paul and John were annoyed beyond their sanity. They knew something was up the moment, the black Mercedes was escorting them to the big palace house instead of the hospital. 

"Let's talk more inside, Father," Avery said, flatly avoiding the gazes of her son and husband. 

The old man agreed and both the daughter and father walked inside leaving the other two in a confused state and in sheer deceive. 

John passed a glare to his father who always remained mute during his mother's stupidness. This was only because of him. He was the only reason why Avery Dalton got so much courage to lie and bring all of them to London because his father never dared to put a leach of control over her. He gave her way to much freedom. 

And just because of that, he had to leave the life that he had known for over the past five years entirely back in Miami to recklessly start a new one here. Hell, he even missed his high school graduation which was just plain ten days away. 

"I m so happy to have you all here. Paul and John. " the old man announced in pure joy. 

Once everyone was inside the enormous living room. It was magnificent in all angles. The huge diamond-cut chandelier hanging from the top increasing the aura of the hall. Two broad stairways led to the upper floors which were equally endeavored in all dime and quality of super pleasant stay. 

If Avery Dalton was telling that she grew up in the palace, she was not lying people. She flipped her brunette hairs back in a sass. 

"Father you forgot me." Avery snorted acting like an ideal brat in front of her old father. 

"Ahh... you have my weak battered heart, my sweet daughter." The old father crackled. 

Paul and John just narrowed their eyes over the drama both the daughter and father were disposing of. This is why John never wanted to come here. It's things like these excruciatingly irritated him. 

This was nothing. Wait, till the overly annoying women come here. They all together with Avery will start the gossiping all day long. It was not for discussing the recent environmental crisis or the big social issue. It was held only for whispering out who got richer, whose husbands earn the most, whose son and daughter are better looking, and all that spicy gossips. After all, they were all rich daughters married off to rich husbands, all their life they learned nothing but to bitch about each other. 


Once the meet and greet were over, everyone returned to their rooms upstairs for a rest after the long flight. 


Paul departed to his own room not waiting for his damn wife who could never change ever. John sprinted up the stairs to his usual room. The Butler guy already placed his luggage inside his room. 

Avery followed her son quietly knowing she had seriously got into his bad books. If not mended right now, it might deteriorate further. 

John was about to close the door when his mother knocked it inside. 

"Are you here to lie again for some other thing?" John hissed. 

"Watch out how you address your mother, boy. I did everything all for you." Avery grumbled walking inside the tennis court size room. 

"Father is retiring and you are the next in line..." 

"You know I have no interest in business whatsoever mom," John spoke right away.


"It does not matter if you like it or not. You will be trained to start tomorrow. John, we have no money. Your father is broken. We do not have the money to keep up with the tax of possessing your Great Grandfather's experimental books. " Avery tried the last of her way to make her son agree in maintaining the family business. 

John fluttered his eyes not knowing what to believe and what not to. His mother was one hellish lier, he knew that. 

"If you do not believe me. Look out for the tax papers and you will know. Paul might not say you but we have nothing left. Our future depends on your hands." she said softly walking closer towards her son, who stood back facing her looking out the window.

"Not everyone does they have interest in. My father did not like the business too but this business only is his sole power today. " Avery pats her boy's head lovingly. 


"Rest you decide if you wanna kick such opportunity off or accept it and grow up. " she placed a chaste kiss on his shoulders turning to move out. 


By the door, she said, " And get some rest. Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins's daughter, Aura will be visiting shortly." 

John huffed in defeat. Damn! Another trouble. That girl just acted so crazily around him. 


The door was closed in a thud sound leaving John all alone to his company. He knew that his life was going to change so much in these few years, he won't be able to recognize what happened himself. 

He opened his cellphone and checked his father's account information, he secretly typed in the password he sneaked in from his father's study and to his utter astonishment, it was true. They had literally nothing. He sighed in surrendering to the business offer. After all, being a son, he had some duties to comply with. 


He also searched Aura Wilkins Instagram profile and luckily  got one. It's been a while since seeing her. Her photos were proof of her turning into a very graceful young woman. 

What else could he expect from a rich brat like her? 

But even though she was nothing in front of his Melan's moonlight face... 


Ahhh....the harsh reality...all he could do now was reminisce their good old times together...

"What did you even see in her?" John's mother shouted at him for standing by her high school enemy's daughter. 

John just could not describe the beauty of the girl standing by him. She is just flawless and bright like the Sun. 


So he simply said," I see a lot of things.", once again glancing at the female body from top to bottom, his eyes lingering over her feminine curves. 


"Oh my. Look at this boy eyeing my daughter like some piece of meat." Melan's mother screamed, her poor husband trying to hold her back from attacking John.

Peter Pov:
When I first opened my eyes I already had an instinctive knowledge of what I should do, what I should do, and what my mission was. I was raised by my master to take care of his son in case of emergency, until I was no longer needed, which would happen when he turned 17, he was 3 that year, so my master put me through training so that I could use the knowledge I had correctly.
##### 1 year later #######
My master died a few days ago and his son has been in a coma since that morning when he leaves the room, I realized that the young man was finally awake and apparently did not know where we were.
My first thought about him was that he was weird, the second was that he was apparently curious.
We spent the afternoon talking and realized that he had a strange interest in the books in the room, also realized that he had no memories of his parents and was giving a strong front.
### 1 years later ###
a lot of things happened throughout the year, and I realized that he had an absurd amount of energy (mana) for a child, something he apparently didn't realize himself, plus I realized that he was trying to control his magic, I pretended not to notice what he did, I didn't know what to do, but I kept an eye on him just in case. During this period, I remember his strangeness as an example what happened the first time we met, he almost laughed at my name, even though I was trying to show a serious face, I could see the frustrated attempt to suppress a laugh.
Over the last few months, he has finished reading the books in the room, so we decided to take a quick trip to see new places, and it was on this trip that I realized how smart the young master really was, he convinced me to buy a stake in certain companies and invest in several different trading points. which I found strange and hardly received the request. A few months later, I realized how much money the Silverstone coffers were raising.
### # 3 years later ######
He didn't notice me with the focus he put on his own training anymore, I noticed the advance he made, he created his own martial art technically, and he even found a way to put magic into it. I also noticed that he began to awaken his lineage, it seems some sort of mutation in the mother's lineage, the way he improved in the control of his magic is amazing. but I realize that because of this any rapid advancement of skill will only occur during his teens.
during this middle ground I made him do various activities alongside his studies, he no longer notices I'm training him to take charge of the family in the future.
we visited Brazil in the meantime but we had to leave quickly because of a civil struggle in the magical world there, this only confirms that I will make him go to the school that his father went because I do not trust him not to get involved in these struggles.
##### 1988 ######
During the last year not much happened, we visited the diagonal alley in London, and he was invited to some socializing parties later, because of that I realized that I stopped teaching him etiquette, he was already polite when we met and passed over my mind, but from now on we will solve that.
On a side note we had a new addition to the family, our house elf now with that I will not waste time taking care of the house and I can call with the damn paperwork I have to sign and review. It is at this time that I wanted the young lady's investments not to focus so successfully, the worst is that he went ahead and gets involved in it, now the level of advancement in technology alone is amazing.
#### 1989 ######
finally, he will go to Hogwarts, he is very nervous and I am very proud of the boy he is becoming, all the stuff can be bought by our elf, so we just need to worry about the clothes and the wand.
We spent the afternoon buying roughages and some materials the young man wanted for his inquiries. I have no idea what goes through his head.
we couldn't get it the same day so we had to go back the next day to look for it, in the end, we didn't think so we had to go order the wand for him, we spent a late afternoon getting him the materials, obsidian, Fenix girdles, 100% pure silver , phoenix blood, Obscurity essence, the young lord's blood, a diamond, and a stored storage container of the young lord for possible reinforcements in the material, it was incredible the effort we had to make to achieve everything, and the pressure it was huge, nothing the family coffers need and of course the young gentleman talked to the old man afterwards, I have no idea why.
He has come to go to Hogwarts, and be dreaming of all that we have been through so far, I also realize that my time is passing and soon I will have to let him more it can wait for the future. I hope he will make great achievements in what awaits him in the future.
With that, I leave the young lord on the train to Hogwarts.

Chapter Two

Nico POV

When he woke up, he felt weird, it felt like someone had changed him in his sleep, which of course, they had. He got out of bed and got dressed, then heard a knock on his door.

"you up yet?" it was Will, probably come to make sure he went to breakfast.

"yeah, I'm coming out now." he put his shoes on and found his Stygian iron sword, the opened the door to find a glowing Will Solace, and when I say glowing, I don't mean he was smiling- which he was- but that he was literally glowing.

"you're glowing Will" I told him.

"I am?" he said, looking at himself. "oh yeah! I am!"

"care to explain why?"

"it sometimes happens If I'm happy. Which I currently am."

"okay, wanna go to breakfast then?"

"sure! Lets go!" they walked to breakfast were Nico sat with the seven, Will, Reyna and Thalia, as well as Calypso. After food, the rest of the morning went quickly, he trained with Percy and Jason, beating Jason and drawing with Percy, and after that they had lunch and all decided to go swimming.

Once they were all at the lake, Nico put his towel, which was black, on the ground and took his top of so he was only wearing his swimming shorts. His skin had recently regained the olive tone it had when he was in Italy, and his muscles were now very obviously there. He was about to run and dive into the water when he realised someone was staring at him. He was used to this, lots of people stared at him, judging him most of the time, but sometimes checking him out. He turned around to see a very red Will Solace, staring at HIM and blushing so much his face looked like a tomato.

"what?" I asked him "what you staring at?"

"huh!" Will blushed even more, somehow that was possible, "um, I, uh, nothing"

I blushed a bit then smirked "Okay then, Nothing it is" then walked forward, grabbed his hand and started to run to the water.

Wills POV

OMGS!I hadn't realized that Nico knew I was checking him out, but then he had turned around and asked me what I was staring at, then the impossible happened, my blush got worse. I stuttered out nothing then he smirked, smirked and grabbed my hand! Now back to the present, were running, holding hands heading towards the water, and when we reach it, Nico lets go of my hand and dives in. I managed a clumsy trip into the lake, and then fell under the water. I opened my eyes to see Nico, Percy and Jason swimming down to some Naiads, Water Nymphs, with bubbles round there heads so they could breathe, I came back up for air and got splashed in the face by Leo jumping in a few centre-meters away from me.

"Careful!" Leo said when he came up "dude, I almost landed on you!"

"sorry!" I said.

"that's okay, well I gotta go find Cal now, see ya later!" and with that he ran off.

I smiled and swam down to the three boys chatting to the Nymphs, when I got to them I motioned for Percy to give me an air bubble, and he did. I breathed in and out for a second, then Jason asked me,

"what's this Nico says about you checking him out?"

I blushed then popped the bubble and started to swim to the surface. But Percy dragged me down and made another air bubble round my head.

"answer the question Will" Jason said

I said something really clever like ' uh, no' and Percy sent Nico to the surface in a bubble.

"now that Nico can't hear us, tell me" he said, smirking, "do you, or do you not, have a crush on Nico Di Angelo?"


 
I stared at him, then Jason, then the surface were Nico was trying and failing to swim down, I turned to face Percy again.

"Y-yes..." I stammered.

Percy and Jason both grinned then Percy said,

"you want us to tell Nico?"

"no!" I said quickly, "i doubt he even likes boys... let alone me."

the two cousins exchanged a look. Then Jason said,

"you sure about that Will?" and swam to the surface with Percy. Who popped mine and Nico's air bubbles and pulled me too the surface.

It was safe to say that I avoided Nico after that, going to my cabin for a while, until dinner. By dinner time I was hungry and also exited, Hecate was giving us our wands after dinner, and as I walked over to my table, the seven and some others (including Nico) called me over to sit with them instead. I walked over and sat in-between Thalia and Leo.

"hey Will" Leo said. "how you doing?"

"hey Leo, and yeah I'm doing fine. You?" I answered

"good, listen Will, what is this that Percy and Jason told me, Thalia, Cal, Annabeth, Piper and Reyna about-"

"shh!" I cut him off, "not here Leo!"

"Oh, yeah," he looked at Nico, then back at me. "Sorry buddy, I almost slipped."

luckily the others were chatting and no one else heard what Leo said, or almost said.


 
The rest of dinner passed without really anything else happening, so I was soon walking up Half-blood hill with the other three to meet lady Hecate. When we got to the top, she was standing by Thalia's pine tree holding four boxes around 12 inches long each.

"hello demigods. It is good to see you, thank you for taking up this quest."

we all said hello back and that it was no problem, then she called us up one by one to take a box.

"Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, come forward please." Hecate said. Reyna came forward and Hecate opened one of the boxes and handed a Wand to her.

"it is Oak wood with a Dragon blood core, 11 inches."

"Thank you lady Hecate," Reyna said

Thalia got Cedar wood with a Lightning bolt core and 12 inches and Nico got Cypress wood with a Thestral bone core, 10 inches. I got mine last and it was Laurel wood with a ray of sunlight for the core, 12 inches. We all said thank-you to the Goddess and then walked back to our cabins. Before we left though, Hecate told us all something, she said 'Tonight I shall bless you all with the knowledge you need to cast spells with your wands, you have the magic, but will need to know the incantations. I will see you all in two days time when I will transport you to London.' and with that she left.

Giselle talked about her education abroad and her previous job experiences. Both the guys listened to her patiently as she kept explaining her career path. Time flew as their stomach started growling. Shane proposed an idea to have their meal together as a commemoration for Giselle joining the KeyLine Publication. Jayce loved the idea as he kept suggesting a lot of restaurants where they can order online. The trio picked a place and placed their orders online. While waiting for their food, Jayce requested Giselle to have a private conversation. Shane agreed as he still hasn't taken a shower yet. 
Jayce invited Giselle out to Shane's beautiful greenery garden at the backyard. Shane loved nature, and so he maintained his private garden which is home to many flowers, vegetables, and fruits. His favorite was strawberries, as the garden is widespread around a vast area, there were many strawberries planted over the backyard. Therefore, whenever they ripe to delicious fruit, the garden looked like it is kissed by a gorgeous woman with her red lipstick; leaving marks all around.
As both the adults took over the backyard and settled on the patio, Jayce started speaking.
"Giselle, I want you to tell me about your family."
Giselle looked at him with doubtful eyes. She was surprised to notice Jayce having a serious look on his face. Giselle hesitated for a moment.
"I mean if you're not comfortable you don't need to share." 
Giselle shook her head. She spoke out.
"Mr. Jayce, I'm afraid that I won't be able to provide all personal details. But, I will share my current life status with you. I'm a divorced single mother with my daughter, Lia. I take care of her now. My ex-husband, Ethan Ruz is back in London. Our divorce was mutual, and we both prioritize Lia first. I have worked in the publishing industry previously as mentioned. And, that's it."
Giselle's crispy talk gave Jayce an outline picture of Giselle's life right now. 
"... so you?" Jayce stuttered. 
Giselle was eagerly listening as she leaned in her face towards Jayce.
"... so you... don't plan on falling in love with another MAN..." Jayce blurted out shyly.
Hearing him talk like that made Giselle roll her eyes, but never did as it would be inappropriate. Instead, she gave him a firm reply which almost knocked out Jayce from doing his experiments upon Giselle.
"My love right now is only for my daughter Lia and no one, Mr. Jayce. I'm a mother now. Not a single women. I know what's my priority." 
Jayce looked stumped.
"Good."
He chuckled and changed the topic to ease Giselle. What else is better than talking about his works.
"So, how do you find my books, Giselle? Interesting?" Jayce started.
"How did you know that I've read your books?" Giselle gasped as she looked at him with curious eyes.
"Giselle, I write a romance novel. If not, I'm pretty confident that every single female has read my novel once, or even heard about it." Jayce winked at me. Giselle sighed and replied to him.
"Well, Mr. Jayce, yes, I have read your novels, and I think they are great."
"Just that!!!" Jayce's face dropped as he heard Giselle giving him the 'standard answer' she knew that it might make him feel down. So, once again, with the help of Mr. Wallace's tips, Giselle gave him a reply.
"Yes and I think 'Tainted Love' is by far my favorite book of yours. It had a simple plot but executed very well. I found the guy's best friend character more interesting." 
For the next few minutes, Giselle talked about his first novel 'Tainted Love' which although never received global recognition but still managed to capture the local audience. As she kept talking about the book, Giselle remembered Wallace giving her tips to impress and get Jayce's attention by approving 'Tainted Love' as his best book so far. 
It wasn't only because of Wallace's words Giselle found the book to be good too. She could feel the protagonist's pain after he loses his true love and lives in pain by himself. Though her feelings towards romance and stuff were fading away by her motherly emotions, she did enjoy the book and found it to be very authentic and original, just like Wallace said it was secretly 'based on Jayce's real life.'
When Giselle finished her review of his first book, she saw Jayce's mouth wide open in awe. His eyes focused on her. She could feel that he got emotionally moved by her precise yet sincere words.
'Thank you, Mr. Wallace' she thought and revealed her happy-go smile to Jayce.
"I'm glad" Jayce responded finally.
Jayce's response made Giselle develop great respect upon this guy as he seems to love his job. Soon, they both heard the doorbell ringing. It must be lunch. Shane sprinted downstairs and received the food. He also noted Jayce and Giselle on the patio of his backyard. But, not for so long, as they both turned back returning inside from the hot sunlight.
"The food arrived!" Shane shrugged.
They all ate their lunch together and enjoyed some fun time with Jayce talking about his experiences with his fans. Many were about 'random proposals' as Jayce jokingly winked at Giselle. Shane's eyes widened as he fist punched Jayce in his arm. Giselle ignored them and kept enjoying the moment. 
After their delicious lunch, their meeting continued.
"Giselle, I see that your daughter is attending school now. I don't mind giving you time-off when required. The only thing I request from you as my editor is to learn fast, keep learning, and do your job best. When it comes to deadlines, I am very strict and old-fashioned. Also, don't be afraid to request an absence in case of emergencies. Raising a kid can be challenging. I will help with from my side too. However, I expect you to be at your best. Let's have a great journey ahead."
Shane got surprised by his writer's genuine and comforting words.
Giselle agreed, and they both shook their hands, to officially become work partners. 
Jayce decided to leave. He had a private conversation with his boss, Shane Ricardo. They went to the kitchen to talk leaving behind Giselle in the living room. After they returned, Jayce asked for Giselle's contact details, and she gave him. All was set and done, Jayce gave her a brief hug. He then fist bumped Shane before leaving the place.
