After the death of his father, Avarok and his sister, Enchantra flees his home in the Subterranean city of Shadazar with his villainous half-brother, Darkoth hunting him.  They must run a deadly gauntlet to the world of the burning sky; the surface world.  There he must find a way to shake Darkoth's pursuit.  There's only one thing that he hasn't told his sister.  He knows the real reason Darkoth is so intent on finding him.  What could it be?

As the Mortal Renegade woke up, causing rocks and rubble to rain down off of him, Bai Xiaochun remained cross-legged, seemingly unaffected.
He was withered, his aura apparently dispersed, his eyes closed and his hair floating around him. It was impossible to tell whether he was alive or dead, although there was something profoundly mysterious about him.
For some reason, it seemed that what was sitting there cross-legged was not a human body, but some sort of god!
Out in the starry sky, the ruins where the dandelion seeds had settled were all undergoing shocking transformations.
The glow rising up from them grew stronger, driving away the darkness, and causing life force to flourish, as well as radiance and light.
Spots of light filled the void, seemingly awakening it, causing it to be reborn out of nirvanic extermination!
Before, there had been a pitch-black void, but that was changing. Now, an astounding will seemed to thrum everywhere.
That will caused the darkness to tremble, to begin fighting an epic battle with the radiance and light!
If one could look at that starry sky from high above, it would actually look like an ordinary night sky.
Countless points of light glittered, letting off glows that, while weak, grew powerful as they joined together!
The darkness within the starry sky did not seem willing to be driven away, and tried to inundate the ruins with more darkness. However, that resistance was apparently instinctual, and was not driven by intelligence.
Nirvanic extermination fought with life force in every nook and cranny of the starry sky.
Even stranger, as the light in all of the ruins grew stronger, Bai Xiaochun seemed to become more and more abstruse, and seem more and more like a shocking god.
Although the Mortal Renegade was waking up ahead of schedule, Bai Xiaochun had been at work for years, and had already built a very solid foundation. By now, more than half of the ruins in the starry sky were shining with bright light.
Unfortunately... he had only accomplished that because the Mortal Renegade had been asleep, and unable to oppose him.
Now, the Mortal Renegade was waking up, and while the darkness had only fought back instinctually before, it now seemed to come to life. The starry sky trembled as though it were aware, and the darkness began to resist Bai Xiaochun, and at the same time, attempt to overwhelm the ruins that were already shining with light.
The ruins which had not already been lit up were now under assault, and were already teetering on the verge of failure. As for those which had been lit up already, they were now being battered at madly by the darkness, but still managed to hold their own.
It almost seemed like a stalemate, with Bai Xiaochun preventing the darkness from taking over again, but unable to light up more ruins.
No one could see what was happening, not even Bai Xiaochun. At the moment, he didn't possess his senses, and was acting on instinct alone. Unfortunately, he was now stuck, and couldn't continue his work. Meanwhile, in the ruins closest to the Immortal World, there existed a shining dandelion seed. Gradually, the light shining out of that dandelion seed twisted and distorted, transforming into the shape of a person.
It was someone seated cross-legged in meditation, and soon, his facial features became clear. It was Bai Xiaochun!!
It looked like a clone, but at the same time, not a clone. He contained a Dao, and life force, and even Essence power!
No one could see him, but if anyone could, they would have no way to tell whether or not he was the real Bai Xiaochun.
And the truth was that he was actually... a Dao clone!
It was something Bai Xiaochun was doing instinctively as he identified his Dao. Even as that happened, the Mortal Renegade woke up, making it impossible for Bai Xiaochun to continue illuminating the starry sky. Therefore, he shifted to a different tactic!
Instead of spreading further, he would use the fifty percent control that he had... to become a sovereign!!
As soon as his Dao clone appeared, the light shining from that set of ruins grew vastly more intense. The darkness in the area was driven away, provoking a howl of rage. However, there was nothing the darkness could do.
In the same moment that Bai Xiaochun's first Dao clone appeared, the Mortal Renegade's eyes began to shine brightly, and his body trembled more violently. Vast swaths of rock and dirt fell off of him, becoming meteorites that rained down onto the Eternal Immortal Domains.
Even the people in the Eternal Immortal Domains could sense how anxious the Mortal Renegade was in his moment.
"He's nervous?" Song Que said.
The Saint-Emperor could sense the same thing. They exchanged an excited glance, and then looked down at the only person in the Eternal Immortal Domains who was calm and sitting there cross-legged.... Bai Xiaochun!
As Bai Xiaochun's Dao clone formed, the mysterious aura surrounding his true self expanded to fill the entire 300-meter area surrounding him!
Within that area, the shattered lands began to form back together, and brim with life force. Even more shocking to Song Que and the Saint-Emperor was the fact that Bai Xiaochun was now radiating the sensation of Essence!
Before long, the dandelions in a second set of nearby ruins, and then a third... began to shine brightly as two more Dao clones formed!
As they did, they shone with such bright light that the starry sky was transformed, causing all the living beings in the Eternal Immortal Domains to look up!
In that moment when the light blazed, the enormous Mortal Renegade looked up, and then spoke in a voice that shook the souls of everyone alive. 
"Well isn't this interesting!"
It was a cold, ancient voice, and as it spoke, his entire body suddenly moved!
As a result, the heavens shook, and endless streams of rock and dirt exploded off of him!
As of this moment, the Mortal Renegade was completely and utterly free from any sealing magics!
He was a giant, floating in the starry sky, with the Eternal Immortal Domains in front of him, like a toy ball that a child might play with. As for the people upon it, they were nothing more than insects!
Everyone in the Eternal Immortal Domains trembled in anxiety, their minds struck with fear and terror. Before, some of them had hoped that they would somehow be able to escape after the Mortal Renegade awoke. But now that he was actually awake, they all knew... that escape was impossible!
All confidence left them as they stared up blankly at the Mortal Renegade, whose right hand was already moving toward the Eternal Immortal Domains as if to grab them!
His hand alone was roughly as big as all of the Eternal Immortal Domains, and its mere movement seemed capable of collapsing the sky!
"I brought nirvanic extermination to all 1,080,000 worlds, and thus gave birth to the Eternal Flower. And today... I will take that flower, and become Eternal!"


With a thought, the land becomes a vast sea. With another thought, it transforms a field of mulberries.

With a thought, a thousand friends are killed. With another thought, ten thousand Immortals are slain.

Only I alone… shall be everlasting. 



My eyes had already closed and I dozed off. I entered my own mind of dreams having a wonderful nights rest when it happened. Darkness engulfed my whole mind swallowing it whole; including me.

I hadn't known what had happened until I was on a stage of sorts, I recognized the platform. It was a dueling area floating amiss in the void and I was on one of the sides.

I had no idea what was happening, but somehow kept my composure, weird things happened in the GX verse right?

I looked across the field on the blue side and noticed a pair of gauntlets floating as an astral projection of sorts wore them.

I tried to brighten the situation up by reminding myself that the bad guys were always blue and the goodies red. Right? Or is it the other way around. Oh god I don't even know.

My face slumped slightly and I took that time to survey the platform. It was a standard duel arena and I saw a deck at my side. I hadn't known which deck it was, but I could only pray it was a strong one.

I looked up as I heard heavy breathing from across the arena.

"My Emperor" It drawled out. "I shall help you awaken!" It spoke deeply.

It sent a shiver up my spine, but there was a keyword I focused on... 'Emperor'.

That drew me to the conclusion that this was indeed my inner darkness and If I were to fully conquer it I must prove myself worthy of such a feat.

I had no idea what deck the opposition would be using and that made me feel slightly weary, but I didn't have a choice did I?

"Very well, let's duel!" I spoke whilst drawing the first five cards, I hadn't even separated them yet as he spoke.

"I'll start it off, DRAW!" 

The white astral projection was hard to read, the only noticeable things were the gauntlets it possessed, the cards were in it's claws and it seemed to look up at me as It drew it's sixth card. "I summon [Coach Soldier Wolfbark] in attack mode and lay down a facedown. I end my turn..." He said

I was stumped, huh? Aren't these guys meant to be OP? Maybe there are certain stages each getting more difficult? No matter, better for me then. To be fair, I didn't know what monster that was so that probably links to the rest of his deck with cards. That's what worried me most.

"I draw" I said now unraveling my hand. I sighed slightly. I was using the Fairy Power deck. I made this just to mess with arrogant foes, but now I have to use it for a very serious opponent...

"I activate the spell [Pot of Greed] allowing me to draw 2 new cards, I lay one card facedown and summon [Happy Lover] in attack mode. I end my turn" I spoke slightly worried about what was to come. Luckily my facedown was [Mirror Force].

"Draw" It said, "I summon [Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear] in attack mode, now attack my beasts!" It roared.

"Not so fast" I intervened. "I activate my trap card [Mirror Force] reflecting your attack back at you, destroying both your monsters!" I explained.

He grunted in confirmation before his monsters disappeared from the field.

"I draw" I said drawing whilst hoping for a monster, unfortunately that didn't happen. "From my hand I activate the equip-spell [Cestus of Dagla] this increases my monsters attack by a whole 500 and; If it succeeds in a direct attack, It also allows me to gain life points equal to the damage inflicted upon you!" I explained.

"Now I activate another equip-spell [Elf's Light] this can only be equipped to a Light type increasing their ATK by 400 and decreasing it's DEF by 200." I said.

I watched as the happy Fairy on my side of the field seemed to grow quite literally as it's attack rose.

"Now I lay a facedown and attack you directly!" I shout whilst my monster attacks.

Thankfully his trap didn't activate and my attack succeeded hurting his lifepoints whilst raising mine. The little Fairy joyfully attacked headbutting the spectral that is my opponent. I had to hold back a laugh, this was kind of a serious duel but with this deck you really couldn't take anything seriouosly.

"GRRRR" The projection growled in pain, It seems that once damage is inflicted it does indeed hurt. I mused.

"I end my turn" I said satisfied.

"DRAW" He shouts whilst drawing a card. 

"I summon [Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Dragon] in attack now -"

"Hold up" I interuppt.

"I activate my trap, [Waboku] this cancels out any battle damage that would be done to me this turn and my monster cannot be destroyed from battle this turn" I said. I was contemplating whether or not I should indeed use this or save it, but I decided to use it just in case.

[Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Dragon: Fire Type / Beast-Warrior / Level 4 : ATK1800/DEF400]

"Rrrrr, I end" It said in frustration.

I don't know why to be honest, Isn't this whole purpose for me to win and unlock strength or something? Maybe each part of the Emperor holds it's own pride?

"Draw" I said and glanced down in my hand, guess I win.

"I summon [Shining Friendship] in attack mode." The reason I think I've won is simple, and I'll show you.

"I now activate the equip-spell [United We Stand] this increases my monsters ATK and DEf by 800 for each monster I control." "I equip this to my [Shining Friendship] card increases his attack by 1600." I explain with a triumphant grin. This deck is actually good, If you just stack up cards on a Fairy that is.

I notice the gauntlets wrapped around his ghostly arms tense slightly, I don't even know how that's possible.

"I now attack your monster with the almighty [Shining Friendship]." I exclaimed.

I didn't even try to stifle my chuckle this time, It really was amusing seeing such a weak monster get powered up.

I honestly didn't think It'd be this easy, but that only made me feel worse for the future, who knows how strong my next opponents will be. This only made me want to enjoy a carefree life at DA for however long I can. No regrets!

"Now [Happy Lover] ATTACK!" I shout as my cute little ball of wings floats to the opposite side of the arena as it sliced it's wing in mid-air causing a blade of wind to shoot out straight at my opponent.

"Congratulations my Emperor, but beware the challenges from here on out shall be much more challenging" It whispered.

The astral projection glowed slightly before the whole void in which I was in caved itself in.

I now stood in a white hallway on my lonesome. I looked around and spotted a mirror compelling me to look into it.

I saw myself standing their, my eyes shining darker with a slight red tint whilst both my arms shone bright before being swallowed by the gauntlets in which I just defeated.

It was then I awoke panting with sweat drenching me. I frantically looked around before holding out my hands and seeing that they were normal.

My gaze redirected itself towards the window and I saw the sun rising. It truly was a remarkable view.

I decided to get up and have a shower to clean myself off, today was the first proper day here, lessons were beginning and enemies would soon appear.
 
What I didn't know yet, but would soon find out is within my system, the black colored box slowly revealed 5 cards, each unknown to all... Each card belonging to the Emperor.

He unlocks 5 cards per defeat and once all 8 are down that's 40 cards. I'll eventually make a poll for card creation ideas for his own made deck (it won't be stupid like exodia :P) Extra-deck cards will also be created but will be unlocked via other means. Don't list ideas for cards yet, That'll happen once all 8 are defeated. And if you think this was easy remember duels rely heavily on luck as well... But don't worry further on the duels will be much more intense and threatening :D

Darkness, as i opened my eyes, all i could see are darkness. There isn't a single trace of light in my view.

"Argh"

My head hurts, it feels like i had a brain freeze.

"Where is this?"

There's no one will answer my question.

"Hello, is there anybody here?"

Only darkness in my vision. Anxiety strikes me, my heartbeat became faster. I didn't know that i am afraid of the dark. I need to find a way out of here, the darkness are giving me goosebumps. I walked and walked until i felt like my legs began to feel numb.

I hit something hard. I tried to touch it and it feels like it is covered in snow.

"But it isn't cold."

Shing.

I saw something shining in it even in this darkness.

"Ice wall?"

The wall looks transparent and that light, it makes me curious. Is there a way to break it? My eyes moved wildly searching for a tool to break it then i saw a stone in front of me.

Tak, tak, tak...

I tried to break it using the stone with all the strength i have left, and the light keeps shining even brighter. Afterwards, the wall broke, the light goes dim and i could see a ring. After i hold it.

[Gained Apophis' Ring.]

"!!!"

In any case, it is huge. The pitch black octopus-like legs surge forth, and the spirit of darkness starts to rise. That ominous figure is enough to send fear and other unpleasant feelings to anyone who sees it.

When it swings a single tentacle on its back, a portion of the Sanctuary next to it gets easily destroyed. While he lets out a thunderous roar, even more clouds of dust goes up. What destructive power!

An incomprehensible groan started to leak out from its big open mouth. Eventually, pitch black fluids started dripping down from it like it's being vomited. Before those dripping fluids touched the ground, they turned into countless number of person-like things that grew wings like a bat. They have a long heads with no ears, nose or eyes, and their upper bodies are that of a muscular human with insect-like legs for its lower half.

They scattered all over the places that the capital reached while flapping their wings. The people's screams echoed here and there.

[ga, gu, tu gaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!]

The spirit of darkness directs its roar towards the heaven.

[It is a monster...!]
[Oh god... Please save us... please … Please ...!]

I could hear the praying voices from all around me. I am sorry, but this evil god is your god.

It probably holds no recollection of Ramirez already. It is merely being driven by its destructive impulses and malice just on instinct alone.

[It is said that thousand years ago, the cardinals joined forces and sealed it. But is it possible to do that again?]
[I think that is impossible. We can't, by any means, rival the power of the cardinals of that time. Right now the majority of cardinals are comprised of people who can't use magic...]

It's no good either? Well, I agree with some of what the Pope said. Compared to the old days, the magical abilities of the current cardinals don't mean much. They are probably looking for things like faith, or political power. As a result, they are completely useless in situations like this one.

It can't be helped. Since it came down to this, will I somehow...?

The moment I was thinking of this, an idea suddenly flashed in my mind.

Particularly, I thought "Can't I use this situation to change the doctrine of this religious group?". Though It is unreasonable to have the genuine kami-sama come, I can pretend to be Kami-sama, defeat this thing, proclaim something like a [Divine Message], tell something to the Pope and leave. Won't Her Eminence gain the advantage even if faced against the cardinals? Maybe.

However, if I were to say it, this is a scam because I'm trying to deceive everyone. Well, it won't be a scam since I am going along the intentions of the genuine Kami-sama. Right…..?

Because I wasn't been able to decide by myself, I took along the Pope and Phyllis to a private residence, and talked about the idea I came up with.


[.... Honestly, I am hesitant to deceive the citizens. However, I think that would be a much better situation than before. I at least want to get rid of the mind interference, and the teachings that do not allow the person to be forgiven just because he is evil.]

Her Eminence looked straight at me and answered clearly. There is no hesitation in those eyes.

I was restraining my feelings that seemed to be crushed by this sense of guilt, and was telling myself that this was also necessary for the country. However, if we are able to change the teachings, I would be able to openly talk about god. The god whom you pray to exists, and who is watching over us, we would be able to advocate the teachings and stick out our chests. How wonderful it would be if it can become like that...?]

That's definitely true. Though I feel awkward for conveniently using Kami-sama's name. Shall I give it try?

The citizens will be more than happy if the monster is defeated by the god they believe in rather than being defeated by a king of a foreign country. As for Brunhild, it is a chance to sell favor to the Holy Kingdom. But I suppose making it as an individual loan to the pope herself will suffice.

[B~, but, will you be all right? Can you win against monster that huge!? This is the spirit of darkness, you know!?]

Phyllis' worries are reasonable, but that foe is not that much troublesome as based on my intuition.

The specialty of this spirit of darkness is probably, or rather unmistakably, the mind interference system. Apparently however, that ability is weakly invoked on a wide area rather than invoking it at pinpoint areas. That's probably why Ramirez thought of founding the Holy Kingdom. For people with high resistance to magic like us it is highly unlikely to be affected. We however may be gradually eroded should we stay close to it after a long time. It's a fact since even Ramirez succumbed to it.

Well, I guess I will manage somehow, but I won't know until I fight it. The problem is how to fight in such a way that would look like as if Kami-sama is in battle. Well, I can do something about the appearance someway or another with [Mirage].

When I went outside, the spirit of darkness hit the ground like a whip with its long tentacle, continuing to destroy the streets. As I thought, it seems its basic attacks are typical physical attacks. Then, It is something I should be able to deal with.

Woops, if I don't hurry up, this capital will be destroyed. I separate from the Pope's group, and hide myself in the back alley. In the meantime, Pope and Phyllis are encouraging everyone in town to offer a prayer to god. Usually, I would like them to run away quickly, but this time, it is a necessary process. It's because the descent will have to occur in response to those prayers.

Using [Mirage], I change my appearance. Rather than calling it [change], it is more like [cladding in illusion to look like it]. Tentatively, I try to dress to become similar to a god of Greek Mythology with blond hair and blue eyes. Of course, it is a good looking one.

Kohaku cocks his head. No, the real Kami-sama look way too plain. Well, Kohaku has not yet seen Kami-sama so far.

For the Image of Kami-sama ... then, should it be like this? I put an illusion that emits light from my whole body. I also considered adding something like a Halo above my head or 12 wings behind my back, but that would be more of an [Angel]-like appearance. It won't mean anything if I simply become the messenger of god.

When I thought that everything is ready, I realized that there is one thing that is really bad. Normally, gods would appear and fly in the sky. Appearing while walking among people is a little.... I should have learned the magic that allows to fly in the sky. Pretending to be Kami-sama is dreadful! This is so bothersome!

It can't be helped. First, I will project this god's illusion in the sky. Good grief... there was no meaning in wearing this illusion. Well, in any case, I will have to be the one doing it when it is already the time to fight.

When I project the illusion of Kami-sama in the sky above the Pope and the others, the voices of the rejoiced people echo with "OOOOO!". Good, First I will have to deal with those familiars rampaging in the whole town.

Despite them being called agents of light, saying [Darkness come forth] sounds funny. All around the god's illusion a great number of summoning formations are created, and I summon one corp of angels. They are the ones I have made a contract with after the rebellion in the Empire. It was terrible at that time with only griffons being able to fly at the sky.

"Defeat the apparitions created by the spirit of darkness and protect the town people"

I convey the orders by telepathy, and the battle angels scatter through the capital all at once. The truth is, it would be fine to hit them with light magic after locking-on with the smartphone, but it would have ended instantly. The citizens wouldn't have known what has happened in that case. Though what I say is bad, this is directing we have on hand.

Despite that people's lives are at stake, I don't think those familiars are aiming to attack humans specifically even though it would sound imprudent. They are just senselessly raging about. However it doesn't make it less dangerous. Some may die as a result of collateral damage as well.

Following the appearance of a god and those divine messengers, the people of the capital become greatly excited.

Good, shall I move too? I disappear with [Invisible] and run on the roof like a kite following the illusion of the god so that it won't become a mess. In times like these, I really want the magic to fly in sky. I wonder if it is wind magic. No, if that's the case then someone like Rin would be able to fly as well. As I thought. Is it a non-attribute magic?

After arriving at the front of the sanctuary, I understood very well the size of the spirit of darkness.

I erase Kami-sama's illusion, and while wearing the same illusion on my body, I take out a 2-meter-long long sword from [Storage].

This large sword was created with the Furizu's fragment and got its weight reduced with [Gravity], so now I can carry it with one hand. Doesn't this sword that shine and sparkle like a crystal give a mysterious image on its own way?

The spirit of darkness turns around and looks down to me. He has no eyes, but that's how it felt. The tentacles on it is back come flying towards me.

I swing the sword horizontally while avoiding it to the side. The tentacle was cleanly cut off and fell. A creepy black mist began to flow from the surface of the cut tentacle. Uwa, gross!

Without giving me time to think, the formerly cut tentacle vanishes, and a new one regenerates. Does it also have such ability? That's annoying.

As Kami-sama (Fake) I can't have it give me a hard time. I also thought of letting it fall down with [Slip], but in that case the damage to the streets should be great due to its huge body. Will it be better to crush it?

In the next moment, the spirit of darkness couldn't endure the effects of [Gravity], and ended up collapsing on its side. The spears of light pierced through the body of spirit of darkness. But this time, the drilled holes didn't regenerate as before. As expected, it might be because it is the spirit of darkness, and that light magic is its weakness?

He honestly didn't think it would take so long to suppress some bugs and capture the holder of the demon seed. He broke through the dimensional barrier with the thought it would take twenty seconds at most to conquer everything.

Yet not only did these vermins resist him but also contend with him to the point where the tower was able to notice him. He should have just finished them off except for the seed bearer quickly before the tower found out that he was here.

"It has been a while since I suffered from my arrogance and stupidity." Mutter the Demon Monarch Alba but Wu Siduo was able to hear him.

"Huh, you're pretty self-aware for a demon." Said Wu Siduo causing the Demon Monarch to glance at her. 

"You don't live and fight as long as I do, to not know when you messed up." Said the Demon Monarch Alba, causing Wu Siduo and her friends to be surprised at how nonchalant he sounded. 

They were expecting him to show some rage or at least some anger but just from his tone itself. It seems as if this was nothing but the daily thing for him or something small. 

"Oh? Suprise that I'm not shaking in rage? Don't make me laugh, this isn't the first time my arrogance cost me something and it most likely won't be my last." Said the Demon Monarch as he cracks his knuckles. 

"Well now, the warmup is over let's finish this."

It was a step, a single step and yet that step caused the ground beneath the Demon Monarch to shatter. He aimed to take out his fallen, so he didn't kill her by accident and so he appeared in front of her. 

"Sleep for a while."

The Demon Monarch thrust out his fist imbued with purple-gold flames towards Yuanen Yehui. But then his eyes widen as a streak of dazzling gold appeared in front of him and collided with his fist. 

Then he hacks out with his sword as a beam of light was coming from his left and then they collided.

"Well now, I may just gain a good challenge before I slaughter you all." Said Demon Monarch Alba as he glances to his side to see a golden spear. Simultaneously, he could feel his blood stirring up from the human in front of him. 

"Round two." Said Tang Wulin as a full-blown grin appeared on his face with a red glint in his eyes, while the Demon Monarch aura flared with purple-gold. His golden spear was trembling with power as he was controlling it with telekinesis and then.

They vanish.

The great earth began to rupture, breaking apart the already blackened floor and forming spider-webs. In just a split second, they collided twenty times in succession, with just a contest of physical strength.

Earth-shattering sounds rang out through the whole room as Tang Wulin and the Demon Monarch was sending attacks back and forth. The Demon Monarch swiped his sword towards the spear that came from his side and then sends out a kick towards Tang Wulin. Tang Wulin ducks under the kick and then counter with a leg to the stomach.

The Demon Monarch skid back a bit but he was still able to deflect a flying kick. Then counter with a punch to Tang Wulin shoulder. Tang Wulin gritted his teeth as he could feel his shoulder getting numb and then coated his hand with purple-blue energy.

'Danger!'

The Demon Monarch could instantly feel his body and soul screaming hysterically at him. His whole body became covered with purple-gold flames as continued clashing with Tang Wulin.

Ten moves later, they were weaving in and out as they attacked with killing intent, moving through the room without any break. Each time a collision happened, it would always emit waves of thunder-like sounds and clash of metal.

Purple blood spattered on the floor as the Demon Monarch Alba could feel his body being damaged from some of Tang Wulin hits. 

'Just what the hell is that ability! How can it keep bypassing my defense and resistance like they are nothing!' Thought Alba in rage. 

'Magic Dragon Deadly Fury.'

Tang Wulin deflected one of the hits coming his away and thrust out with his fist being covered with purple-blue energy. The Demon Monarch hack down with his sword that was pouring out with raging flames and as these two attacks collided, both were sent back.

A golden spear was rushing towards Alba from behind and causing him to erupt in flames to send it away, also leaving him open for an attack.

A flash of light appeared next to the Demon Monarch with Mu Xi appearing with six rings shining behind and her thrusting her fingers toward him. Demon Monarch Alba knew he couldn't treat her attack with contempt anymore considering the situation now. 

Darkness exploded outward from the Demon Monarch and aimed to devour Mu Xi. Yet instead of Mu Xi being ruthlessly suppressed by the darkness, her two fingers were burning away the darkness that exploded out of the Demon Monarch. 

Yet this isn't a surprise as Mu Xi was now wearing a two-word battle armor that was able to make her comparable to a Title Douluo. Plus the fact that Alba was continuously being suppressed by the tower and the fact she has Ultimate Fire. These made it even possible for her attack to burn through his darkness. 

"What nonsense!" Roared out Demon Monarch Alba as purple-gold flames started to form within in his hand and around his sword.

As Demon Monarch Alba was about to hack down Mu Xi, he felt a fluctuating in space. He moved back as a slash burst through space where he was before. 

'How annoying.' Thought Demon Monarch Alba as he began to re-evaluate the trash in front of him. 

He was about to chase after Mu Xi who was moving back but then he swung his sword to slash apart an ice arrow that was heading towards him. 

Xu Xiaoyan was creating an ice arrow and launching them toward the Demon Monarch, which was allowing Mu Xi to move back. Demon Monarch Alba wasn't foolish enough to try and give chase as he felt something was wrong.

It was then that multi-colored vines burst out from the ground and tried to capture him. Demon Monarch Alba utters nothing as his purple-gold flames burst out from him, causing the vines to burn. 

Yet Tang Wulin didn't care as he was dashing toward to Demon Monarch who only slightly narrowed his eyes at this and then thurst down his sword.

As if a hurricane made out flames suddenly combusted on the surrounding area near Demon Monarch Alba. With more flames bursting from out of the vortex around Demon Monarch and barely giving Tang Wulin a chance to outmaneuver the attack.

Knowing he couldn't dodge the attack, Tang Wulin narrowed his eyes but still charged forward. As just as the flames were about to make contact with him. 

A flash of light appears next to him with Mu Xi and Xie Xie appearing next to him.

'Absolute Delay.'

Sixth Rings appear behind Xie Xie as he causes the surging vortex of flames that was rushing forward to slow down to the speed of a turtle. 

'Magic Devil Explosion.'

The Demon Monarch instantly took the sky and away from the area he was before, as purple-blue energy erupted from the ground. It was then he detects a golden missile tearing through the air and letting out a thunderous sound as it was making its way to him.

Darkness and purple-gold flames began enshrouding the Demon Monarch's whole body, then forming a sphere around him. A second later, the golden spear collides with the sphere but it wasn't able to pierce through it. 

Demon Monarch Alba burst outward from the sphere while sending the dragon spear flying. But it was then he felt a terrifying feeling behind him but before he could react he felt the air behind him being slice apart. 

The Demon Monarch brandish his sword to clash with the golden-white sword that tried to slice off his wing and a surge of flames formed in his hand. Ye Xinglan's eyes widen, and she quickly backs up away, as a stream of purple-gold flames came charging at her.

The Demon Monarch didn't give chase as he began deflecting the countless arrows and elemental that were being directed at him while he was in the air.

The Demon Monarch Alba then glances at the flash of light that appeared above him. Tang Wulin appeared above with Mu Xi who had her two vermillion hammers out. 

Demon Monarch Alba saw Tang Wulin and Mu Xi appearing above him but before he could do something, he felt a ray of light shining on him. Then a sphere hit him that caused him to feel like he was being pelted by the rain.

'Judgement.'

'Darkness Shine.'

Behind Demon Monarch Alba Yue Zhengyu twelve wings and Yuanen Yehui with her feathered wings that had a hint of purple-gold were out. Yue Zhengyu was shining down his rays of light and Yuanen Yehui was sending out constant balls of energy. 

While the Demon Monarch was being distracted, Tang Wulin bent his knees as Mu Xi swung her hammers down to his foot and then smashed him downwards to Demon Monarch Alba.

'Magic Devil Deadly Rage.'

Purple-blue was coating Tang Wulin arm and as he began speeding towards the Demon Monarch like a shooting comet. The Demon Monarch swung his sword causing Yue Zhengyu and Yuanen Yehui to evade out of the way from the flames that were rushing towards them.

"As if I would let you!" Roared out the Demon Monarch as became a blur and appeared away from Tang Wulin. 

Yet Tang Wulin's expression hasn't changed as he kept his gaze on the Demon Monarch while he was going down. 

'Why isn't he trying to stop or panicking?' Thought the Demon Monarch in confusion and then his eyes widen. 

As Tang Wulin was coming close to the ground, a shadow appeared under him and it was familiar.

'I thought I destroyed that.' Thought the Demon Monarch as he stared at the Devilgod under Tang Wulin. 

The Devilgod spun his body around and then smash his arms into Tang Wulin who bent his leg as he got close. The Demon Monarch eyes widen as he saw Tang Wulin being launch with a frightening amount of speed. 

The Demon Monarch began to dash away with him but how could Tang Wulin let him escape?

'Time Magic Parallel World.'

Countless amounts of multi-colored vines that shined dazzlingly with the golden scale erupting from the ground and went towards the Demon Monarch. But none of the vines were able to catch Alba as his speed was just too fast. 

Even when the vines began to form a continuous forest of vines, the Demon Monarch was still able to move through them without getting hit or capture once. 

"Foolish!" Mock the Demon Monarch as he saw the vines missing him.

Yet Tang Wulin ignored the taunt of the Demon Monarch as his body was approaching the multi-colored vines. 

'Calamity Tyrant Dragon Soars.'

It was then the Demon Monarch felt a terrifying amount of pressure in front of him.

As soon as Tang Wulin feet touch one of the vines, it shattered as he turned into a beam of golden-purple light. A thunderous and dragonic noise resounding through the room as the beam of light moves from one vine to another. 

The Demon Monarch eyes were filled with shock as he saw the beam of light closing the distance, by rebounding itself on the vines. 

He knew he couldn't dodge it with the speed he was going by while he was flying, so he went for an attack. He sent streams of flames towards the beam of light but it was too fast, as every time it hit one of the vines, its speed increased.

Knowing he has to change his tactics, the Demon Monarch Alba roared out as his purple-gold scales and purple-gold flames shined on his sword. 

But then pale blue chains began to wrap around him. 

That wasn't just it as not only was his movement being restricted but his power as well. 

Xu Xiaoyan was slowly breathing but her eyes were shining with steel as she held out her staff toward the Demon Monarch.

'Absolute Control too! It's just like her-.'

The Demon Monarch couldn't finish his thought as the beam of light finish rebounding around him and close in on him. His eyes widen as the beam of light started to twist into a golden-purple dragon emitting earth-shattering noise and deadly pressure.

'Devil Slayer Secret Art: Holy Apocalypse.'

Bang!

The Demon Monarch figure was swallowed by the mythical dragon and as Tang Wulin attack made contact with the Demon Monarch chest. The Demon Monarch eyes widen as he felt scales were being turned into dust. 

Yet the Demon Monarch refused to give up as he roared out as the space around him began to distort. 

As a dark storm started to explode out of him causing the dragon to twist and the storm begins battering into Tang Wulin. Tang Wulin could feel his whole body screaming out as the violent storm was tearing his skins to shred and causing his bone to bend.

Yet it did nothing to deter Tang Wulin with his fist already making it way into the Demon Monarch Alba. But he knew he had to do something else, or he may end up being killed by the storm.

So Tang Wulin began to inhale.

'How!' Thought Demon Monarch Alba in shock as he saw his dark storm being drawn into Tang Wulin mouth. Not just that but he could also feel his energy being leeched away. 

'He can also drain my energy too! Why didn't he do this before!' Thought The Demon Monarch in disbelief as he knew with this, they wouldn't have struggled with him that much. 

But the reason is very simple, Tang Wulin needed an opening and a situation to capitalize on his magic eating on. He knew that the moment Alba found out he could do this, he will be warier and may focus more on physical combat. 

Tang Wulin had no illusion that with his magic absorption, they could all fight equally with a Quasi God level being. But at this moment right now? This was perfect as he could feel the potency of his attack spiking up and his reserves being refilled.

'The absorption and quality rate are even better!'

The Demon Monarch Alba eyes widen in fright and terror as the strength of Tang Wulin attack becomes even more terrifying. Yet he unleashed even more power with multiple hurricanes forming to strike Tang Wulin body but it was too late.

As in that moment the sounds of bones shattering, flesh-tearing and hearts bursting could be heard alongside an earth-shattering sound through the room. 

Blood sprouted out from the Demon Monarch whose eyes were filled with shock and his face turned pale as he was sent flying through the air by Tang Wulin fist. Simultaneously, Tang Wulin's body was falling.

He wasn't able to fully absorb the dark storm and the hurricanes that were formed, as he was more focused on capitalizing on trying to finish Alba. Sadly, this caused his whole body to be hit with the remaining power of the dark storm. 

'He twisted his body, in the end.' Thought Tang Wulin as he recalled the Demon Monarch moving his chest to the side as soon as his fist was tearing through his flesh. 

While this was happening a flash of light appeared above the Demon Monarch, with Gu Yue and Na'er appearing above him. Gu Yue eyes flashed with her pupil turning into silts and the elements behind her were gathering with a larger amount of power.

Lightning interweaved in the air as a continuous wave of water coiled around a miniature sun that was forming in her hand. 

'Vortex of Elements.'

Light began surrounding the sphere and then Na'er eyes flash before smashing her Silver Dragon Spear inside of the elemental sphere. The elements began to intertwine with the glittering spear and form an ethereal armor around it.

Both of their auras burst into the skies and eyes shining brilliantly with a silvery light. Gu Yue hair was shining with a violet light while Na'er was shining with a silvery light and both of them had an other-worldly aura erupting out from them.

It was then a silhouette was formed behind both of them. It was a woman with long silver hair and violet eyes that was extremely beautiful with a voluptuous body. 

The women stared down at the Demon Monarch with eyes filled with disdain and then her form turned into a Giant Silver Dragon that was looking down on everything.

The dragon roar causing everything to shake, while at the same time, both girls thrust forward and causing the elemental spear to speed off to the Demon Monarch.

Demon Monarch Alba saw them and knowing he couldn't let himself get hit by that attack pushed himself to raise his sword and hack out. The slash seemed to envoke the wrath of the demons as it burned furiously with unstoppable power as it was rushing towards the elemental spear.

Yet Gu Yue only let out a smirk with her eyes displaying a look of disdain towards Demon Monarch Alba. While Na'er smiled as seven rings flashed behind her and lit up. 

'Silver Dragon Spear True Body.'

Then instantly the elemental sphere disappears and reappeared right in front of the Demon Monarch chest, where the demon seed was. 

The Demon Monarch tried to shift his body but then he felt the space around him distorting and bending. This caused him to widen his eyes as he saw the spear teleporting inside of his body.

Then the elemental spear erupted with overflowing brilliance before exploding out like continuous waves and engulfing the whole Demon Monarch figure. A vortex began forming as streaks of energy were exploding were dancing everywhere. 

The elements were interweaving while sounding out unendingly with the vortex growing brighter and the demon seed started gaining cracks by the seconds. Seven-colored lights began to shimmer out as the half-demon seed was beginning to break and then it shattered.

As the spear pierces straight through, with an explosion ranging out. 

The vortex of elements exploded, forming endless specks of light. It was as magnificent as fireworks and as stunning as a meteor shower. Streaks of light began falling like falling stars across the sky.

Yet one particular streak was rushing down to the earth, with the smell of burnt flesh.

Demon Monarch Alba descent was far from graceful as his body crashed down into the earth like a comet. Similar to meteor, he plowed into the earth and uprooted everything as a thunderous noise swept through the whole room.

Making their way toward the bear Hans tell his plan to Max. Soon they reach a small pond near the pond a big furry figure lay asleep, the bear had taken nap under a tree near the pond. Its head had a   burn mark from Diablo's flame, while one of its eyes were clawed by Max's tiger who protect its master.

"Let's do this then come out Diablo. Use [Cursed Javelin] to form a barrier around that bear " Hans summoned his card and call out Diablo. The summoned dragon form three javelins that surrounded the sleeping bear.

Following his order, the moose charging toward the back of the barrier following him Max also send out his monster to enter through the other two sides of the barrier. The moose entered inside the barrier inside it see a bear that attacked the barrier madly, without hesitation its charge toward the bear. the moose antler shining white while charging, the bear seems to realized something turned its back to see a moose charging at it. 

The bear hurriedly summoned its [Rock Shield] it blocked the moose's [Radiant Antler] but crack appeared in the shield, the bear let down its shield jump out and pounce at the moose but before it's even hit the moose a tiger attacked it sending the bear tumbling down. 

The moose is run toward the place that not burned and exit the barrier leaving the tiger and bear alone inside, the bear staring at the tiger with wrath filled eyes it remembered that this tiger is the one that makes it lose its eyes.

The virtuous tiger poses white fur just like one of the divine beast but the tiger had two tail instead of one tail.

The tiger valiantly fights the bear even though it still in the early stage of  Captain Tier the bear still injured by it after a few exchanges of attack, the tiger also riddled in injuries after the fighting it for a while. A wolf comes pounce at the bear from behind forcing the bear to use its another life-saving skill [Darkness Armour] when it uses it both the tiger and wolf run out of the barrier.

The bear gives a chase but unable to catch up with the tiger or the wolf letting them escape outside of the barrier, it madly attacking the barrier with everything it got but the barrier won't even budge. 

"Attack all you want. It useless let me teach you about despair." Hans laughed at its struggle. With Diablo only focusing on maintaining the barrier, the barrier could withstand stronger attack and more durable. Only if it was attacked by a stronger monster would the barrier be destroyed.

The Bear's armor soon wears off and disappeared from its body.

[Darkness Armor]: Condensed armor made of the dark element to protect the user's body. The armor will wear off after 5 minutes after usage.

With the system help, Hans could see the skill and the skill's description for any monster giving him advantage after all only by knowing your enemy would someone can easily defeat their enemy.

Seeing the bear's armor had gone Hans nod at Max signaling him to continue the attack toward the bear again, their monster would enter from the farthest side from the bear and attack the bear. Their monster will joint together in attack or attacking by them self soon the bear had grown weaker and weaker after the countless attack.

Unlike the bear, their monster can take a rest before attacking again while Diablo focusing on maintaining the barrier and the flame surrounding it.

In his new life he was given name Hans Kallan .but he soon realized that the world where he reincarnated have many beast roaming the world and that everyone in the world can awaken a monster card inside their body and use the card dropped by beast of this world.

I am quite shy and someone who talk a little so i probably won't show up that much.

The azure sun continuously blazed upon the world providing light.

As the sun reached its peak in the sky, the shadow of the enormous tree covered the land below. A beautiful spectacle of crystal light shone through the crown of the tree. When the sun was directly above the tree, it shone through the trunk making it appear lustrous.

The trunk of the enormous tree was like crystal timber.

This spectacle went on day after day. 

Today was a special day. The enormous tree was like a light in the darkness. The sun above released azure light towards the tree. When it reached the highest point in the sky, it burned ferociously through the tree.

Where the tree hit the ground, massive roots spread through the land. At the foot of the tree, the trunk grew thicker. The crystal bark split revealing a large opening.

Below the opening was a naturally formed crystal-basin. The crystal basin was broad and held by a  large root. Half of the basin was Twilight the other was Light.

The root holding the basin split into two. There, hundreds of creatures sat in observance. Within the roots appeared two troughs.

After a few seconds, the opening spilled a translucent golden sap. 

The sap filled the large basin until it was overflowing. The abounding sap poured into the troughs continuously. Once the sap struck the end of the troughs, it stopped spilling from the tree.

Wisps of blue traveled through the sap within the troughs. They released strange pheromones of nature. The golden sap started to blaze an azure aura.

Around the crystal-basin floated two creatures surrounded by light. From their mouths spilled various tones, a prayer to the enormous tree. Along with their mouths, they performed strange maneuvers with their hands and feet.

Once the ritual was complete,  the long branches that webbed within the sky parted. An azure sun was revealed to be shining overhead. The sun shone upon the basin with its fierce light. The light was mostly directed towards the 'Light' half of the basin with a small amount reaching the 'Twilight' half.

After a long time, the sun continued across the sky as the branches webbed together.

As the sun disappeared past the horizon, the sky became wondrous in the darkness.

The darkness came from the absence of light, but the darkness was not somber, it was dazzling. Upon the sky nine distant suns that appeared similar to small stars became visible.

Along with the suns appeared the infinite light of the innumerable worlds within the universe.

Each sun released a different light.

With the appearance of the nine suns, the branches of the tree parted revealing the distant stars that span from horizon to horizon. The light from the nine stars was directed at the 'Twilight' half of the basin with a little entering the 'Light' half.

Just as the azure sun remained stagnant in the sky, the nine suns were stagnant as well.

The light in the basin reached a pinnacle. The golden sap on the Light and Twilight half of the basin each shone Azure and Nine-colored light.

With the shining sap, the sky once again started changing. The nine suns slowly disappeared past the horizon, one by one.  A brief moment of darkness was left. Half the sky was dark while the other half was bright.

At this moment, the similar creatures sitting around the troughs sunk their heads into the sap.

They drank the golden sap completely.

The instant the sap in the troughs was gone, a brightness poured out from the basin. A golden shimmer enveloped the surroundings.

From the halves of the basin walked out two figures. The two were azure and nine-colored.

They stepped out of their respective halves of the basin and waited around it.

After them, ninety-eight other figures appeared.
Fifty azure creatures appeared from the Light half of the basin.
Fifty nine-colored creatures appeared from the Twilight half.

Each creature was born from the golden sap and the ten suns lights.

What remained of the sap was a small amount. Enough for them to drink once.

The azure sap and nine-colored sap that remained began swirling and mixing. It was moving like a whirlpool similar to the system of stars.

The hundred azure and nine-colored creatures surrounding the basin drunk the remaining sap.

The sap passed through their bodies completing ten circulations changing and modifying, before accumulating in their heads.

The sap changed the azure and nine-colored creatures.

Respectively, the nine-colored creatures transformed into the blue greyish creatures, the azure creatures transformed into the fair pinkish creatures.

These two variants were the last and only of their kind, creatures of the Azure.

The Dark Essence learned several things from observing these creatures.

The creatures communicated through a series of noises that came from their mouths and sometimes their hands. These creatures made sound through the use of energy.

The creatures all had a sort of link that connected them all. It was something unique that belonged to this world.

The energy that came out of their mouths when they spoke was filled with meaning through the use of the channels.

Once the Dark Essence understood that connection, it understood their form of speech.

It learned that those lithe pointy-eared creatures were called Elves. Beautiful creatures that were tall and agile.

The enormous tree was called The Crystal Tree. A giver unto the world and the life source of Elves and Dryads.

And the blue wisps were called Dryads. Shapeshifting spirits of natures.

The Dark Essence had observed them and grasped their history and culture. There were currently ten groups of elves. Each group consisted of a hundred elves. All these elves were called Sun Elves. The elves within every group were split into two categories. High Elves and Dark Elves.

The fair pinkish elves were High elves. They practiced their way of life under the light of the sun and trees. 

The blue greyish elves were Dark Elves. Their way of life consisted of the night and cosmos.


The event that had just happened was a one of a kind occurrence. There were ten suns within this system of worlds. Each planet revolved and orbited a sun for a hundred years.

The planet of The Crystal Tree was a unique world like the others. The last day of every hundred years marked the birth of a hundred elves. Those elves were born from the respective sun during that hundred years.

In simpler terms, the recent birth of the hundred elves was correspondent to the azure sun. The fifty Dark Elves were, therefore, Azure Dark Elves and the fifty High Elves were Azure High Elves.

Although all the elves were similar they were unique to their own star. The distinction was made through the color of their eyes. Their eyes contained the essence of their sun.

The Azure Elves had Azure/blue eyes, The Alabaster Elves had White/pearly eyes, The Obsidian Elves had black/inky eyes, etc.

Within this unique nascency of the elves, the Azure Elves were the last of the Sun Elves.
The birth of each group of Sun Elves from beginning to end was as such, Silver, Alabaster, Crimson, Verdant, Amber, Rose, Apricot, Obsidian, Amythest, and Azure.

What came after the Sun Elves was still unknown to the Dark Essence, but soon enough, the truth would be revealed.

The dim moonlight behind the curtain did not light up Lucien's room, but made the whole place very quiet and somehow even darker.
The darkness in the room was not evenly distributed, as if the darkness had life. But when one took a closer look at it, there was nothing in the darkness.
Lucien was lying in the bed, and his breath was long and smooth. It seemed that he had fallen into a sweet dream in his deep sleep.
"The darkness shows… He's indeed in the bed…
"His swords… two swords… about ten centimeters from his hands. He's very alert…
"Breath… heartbeat… spiritual power… all normal. Hands are covered by the blanket… hard to tell… His posture is awful… not like a noble at all…
"He's in deep sleep. Maybe the many guards in the castle made him feel safe…

"He's still wearing the amulet. The amulet can be activated very fast, but it only works facing lethal magic spells and curses. It cannot protect him from any physical or elemental attacks, nor can it hurt the attacker.
"Maybe he still has more magic items, but I should be able to get him before they actually work…
"I'm ninety-nine percent sure… I can send him to hell before he wakes up!"
After close observation, Petrov had made up his mind.
In the darkness beside Lucien's bed, a figure suddenly showed up! The figure fiercely took a step forward and the dagger shining in green light directly stabbed toward Lucien's throat!
Just now Petrov dared not to get too close in case Lucien could sense the danger with his intuition. Although Lucien had a magic sword and a quite useful divine item, Petrov was not afraid of them. In the darkness, he was totally confident with his Blessing. However, his only concern was that, if the divine item was too powerful, the magic circle set up by Matvienko for blocking the noise might collapse, and then the grand knights in the castle would notice what was going on here.
Petrov was fast, and his blade was even faster. However, as soon as his dagger cut Lucien's throat, he sensed a surge of familiar magic waves. He could not believe the first idea flashing through his mind, but it was true—it was magic!
Feeling shocked, Petrov saw Lucien's figure breaking down into pieces like a broken mirror.
The second circle spell, Mirror!
Although Darkness Blessing was immune to those lower level spells, this was only for defence. When the power was used to attack, it would still be affected by magic.
In the moonlight, the mirror broke into shining pieces, just like a beautiful dream.
"A Sorcerer?!" Petrov's heart suddenly sank, but soon he realized that the information was not accurate. In the next second, he was ready to go back into the darkness to retrieve!
However, it was already too late. He saw Lucien's real figure beside the bed, and holy light lit up in front of his chest.
Immediately, the whole room was filled with the bright, burning light.
The darkness that Petrov heavily relied on was instantly dispelled, and his figure was revealed.
The level three divine spell, Burning Radiance!
Petrov fought to bear the great pain but released no scream. In great effort, he tried his best to move away from the light, but the pain made him move way too slow.
Without hesitation, Petrov activated the magic ring on his left little finger.
However, as soon as the black smoke started to rise out of the ring, Lucien directly cast Elemental Order!
Bang!
The ring first cracked, then the power in the ring lost its balance. When the ring exploded, the power completely covered Petrov and blasted his light-brown blood everywhere.
With Lucien's outstanding spiritual power as a third circle sorcerer, when he cast Elemental Order, if his enemy did not have anything for defence, Lucien's power was enough to destroy most level four alchemical items.
Seeing that the ring just exploded, Lucien was a bit upset. His possible trophy was gone now. No wonder all the powerful sorcerers were very careful with using the ninth-circle spell, Cracking, since most enemy's magic and divine items under legendary level would be destroyed by the power, leaving one with no gain at all from the fighting.
Also, Cracking was a spell with an area of effect. If one still had his or her teammates around, it would be a great concern to the caster. Therefore, comparatively speaking, Lucien's Elemental Order was much more convenient to use.
Petrov was still writhing on the floor, trying to reach the shadow in the corner. Lucien, of course, would not leave him with any chances, so he activated Sun's Corona again. The flame summoned directly hit Petrov.
One second before, Petrov had no other choice and activated his ultimate and forbidden power, Darkness Assimilation, however, the flame put an end to all his hope.
In the flames, Petrov's figure was quickly overwhelmed. His mouth and throat were burnt into ashes instantly, thus his howling of great pain and fear was restrained in his chest. He could not believe that he had failed this fast, after all, his power was not fully revealed at all! Still, very quickly, nothing was left of him.
Petrov's dagger dropped on the floor.
When Flame Strike was cast, the divine power in the room peaked, but the power was still a bit away from destroying the invisible magic cover. As Lucien expected, the grand knights in the castle sensed no difference.
Because they estimated that the divine item Lucien had was about level four or five, in order to be careful, Matvienko also built a level five magic cover.
Seeing what just happened in Lucien's room, Matvienko was so shocked that he was distracted for a second, thus his figure showed up in the air outside of the window from Lucien's room, right beside that of Ivanovszki!
Lucien's buffering time for casting had passed, and thus he immediately looked at Matvienko in the air and locked him with spiritual power. Lucien's eyes were shining with dim light. He was ready for another round of fighting!
As soon as they started spying on him, Lucien instantly found out what they were planning.
Magic waves spread. Matvienko, who had cast Mechanized Mind and Magic Armor on himself, saw that his invisible covers were silently broken down.
For a second, Matvienko suddenly felt that Lucien was a quite nice guy. However, he quickly realized that Lucien had cast Charm Person on him, but now he felt a little dizzy.
Matvienko had no idea why the spell, Charm Person, could be this powerful. Although his spells had countered most of Lucien's spell power, for a short period of time, he still could not stay concentrated with his spiritual power.
Fortunately, Matvienko could still use his magic item. After seeing what happened just now, without any hesitation, Matvienko activated his magic boots and disappeared in the air.
The third circle spell, Short Distance Teleportation!
Matvienko had just witnessed how Lucien fought—his fast, continuous attacks never left his enemy any chances to fight back, so Matvienko instantly decided to run away.
Lucien was still in his buffering time for casting Elemental Order, thus he could not destroy Matvienko's boots. However, Lucien had many powerful magic items. Now, he calmly activated his ring, Element.
Outside of the window, a cluster of greenish yellow smog was released, and the smog in the air surrounded the building.
In the smog, several tall and thick pines quickly perished, and even the bugs hiding in the trees were not exception, as if nothing could survive in the smog.
The fifth-circle spell, Gaston's Poison Cloud!
Without any preparations for this, one could die from the smog even with a small amount of it inhaled!
Matvienko's teleportation could not make him move far enough to avoid the toxic smog. When he showed up in the air again, he was surrounded by the greenish-yellow gas.
As a sorcerer, Matvienko was alert enough to know what to do right now. He instantly held his breath and cast Air Filter Bubble.
Matvienko decided to protect him first, and then cast Dissipate Smoke, because dispelling all the smog could take some time.
However, he was greatly shocked when he saw that the filtering bubble was being dyed by the greenish-yellow smoke bit by bit.
"Damn it!" Matvienko had no idea how many middle rank magic items Lucien had. Since he knew that Air Filter Bubble could only manage to handle toxicants produced by spells under the fourth circle, he understood how dangerous the smoke was immediately.
At this time, Matvienko noticed that his skin started to fester!
He could not believe the fact that the toxic smoke could affect his body directly!
"A unique spell…?!" Matvienko's brain started to get slow. With great effort, he managed to retain his consciousness, and activate the spell enchanted in his magic robe, Gasification.
He wished to turn himself into gas for a while to temporarily get rid of the toxic smoke, at the cost of not being able to cast any spells during that time, only being able to fly.
Lucien would not let his wish come true for sure. He cast Elemental Order again, and many holes appeared in Matvienko's magic robe!
"What…" This was Matvienko's last thought before he turned into pus.
Since Lucien cast Charm Person, everything happened within just a few seconds.
At this time, a big hand formed by force field suddenly showed up in the air, trying to grab Matvienko, but it was too late.
Also, a fierce wind blew off the greenish-yellow smoke completely. Then, a man flew out of the window of the count's room. He looked furious, as if he was very mad that he failed to save Matvienko.
Lucien sensed great danger. The man's anger was like the boiling waves in a rough sea.
The man had gray hair and deep wrinkles. It was Semenov, Count Witte's steward!
"Senior rank mage?!" Lucien was shocked.


"A falling star has brought the chaos. The throne of fate has lost its master. The nonbeliever who walks in light and darkness will make his debut."
