When I was in middle school, a friend introduced me to anime. The first anime I watched was probably between Highschool DxD or Soul Eater, aside from the Naruto episodes I would stumble upon on Cartoon Network. 

I loved watching anime. The animation, music, voices, and the world that was built opened my mind to crazy fantasies and dreams. I never thought I'd get into manga because it didn't seem as interesting.

One day, I heard that the Bleach manga was ending and by then, I'd watched literally hundreds of anime. Bleach isn't in my top 5 but it was still an anime I enjoyed a lot, and there was still more to the story I didn't know about in the manga. So I read it...

That's when I downloaded an app to read manga. Some time in either my last few years in high school or early post high school, and boy did I have a long list.

I read so many different things like manga, manhua, and manhwa. First off, my favorite manga became Re:Monster and when I got to see stories made by Chinese and Koreans... I had so many other worlds to explore. 

Tales of Demons and Gods, Solo Leveling, Omniscient Reader and The Last Human... they enthralled me. Reading them opened my eyes, what I always wanted is to explore new worlds, and after reading tons of manga. My mind was slightly open to reading light novels, I just never thought I could keep myself entertained reading light novels.

Out of the blue, something made me down load an app for light novels. Wanting to give them a chance, I placed many on a list before deciding which to read first. My first read, was My Vampire System... it was pretty good but some places felt like they were dragging on. So once I got to chapter 50 or so. I moved on to see what else light novels had in store.

That's when I came across one of my favorites today. Fourth Prince's Debauchery, it was a drug, I couldn't stop reading it. 

That's when I really got hooked on reading Webnovels, the stories people make, the worlds that are built. I loved reading them; I'm still new to reading webnovels, so I haven't read much. Neither have I ever written a story outside of school projects... but one day, I want to write a story and build my own world for others to read and we can explore that world together.


I just wanna end this by saying, I don't really hate any series, I just love to sit back and enjoy the story of an mc as it plays out. Be it action, adventure, fantasy, slice of life, romance, ecchi, and so on. I watched it all and enjoyed most of it, there isn't many series I'd give a rating below a 6-7 on a scale of 1-10. That goes with the manga and webnovels I've read.

These are just my thoughts, so... I hope you don't read me...

"I wake up within a world of light where you can see ... was only white or light, I don't know why I end up here, I sat up in fetal position, bracing my knees in depression. I ... feel sad, and empty but my heart ... sob ... it's hurt. I know that  I must not feel this way because of... I ... I don't have the right to feel angry ... but I couldn't help too ... so my tuition was right that I'm not his real son. 

I already started to doubt him like when I asked him "where's mother, father?" and he just avoided it, At that time I thought he just don't want to talk about it but when I started to read books after books.

I just realized that maybe I was just an orphan because I don't have Oril power or it's just coincidence so I started to doubt myself, myself existence, though there is no big deal being orphan, it still hurts to hear it from others, I couldn't help too. 

So that was the reason why some generals look at me with a glint of angry and some are with contempt, I thought that time they are just serious person but now I know. Is it my fault? why they have to look down on me, though I didn't mind it. 

But why I feel angry? Is it because of Melisa? that I feel betrayed or being tricked that she truly not love me, I love her like my mother, more than that I feel she was my inspiration to become stronger, I want to protect her but now, what am I supposed to feel?.

I don't have a real father, I don't have a real mother, so what is the reason to keep fight, to keep stronger ... I feel like I lost my passion, and my fire has been extinguished." Rosa braces his knees tightly while crying. 

He was only a child, helpless without someone consoles him, no one can help him but only himself.


Weeks ... months ... or even year, I don't know anymore how long did I stay within this place, am I dead already? I can't just figure out what hell is this place. I can't feel hungry, I can't feel anything anymore, I feel empty, or hollow. 

Seems I can't get out of this place so I just keep practicing my sword style without a sword, I just keep imagining that I have my light sword here then suddenly there a sword. I keep practicing and practicing because I can't feel the hunger and at the same time I can't feel tired.

But one thing I'm sure my light sword style seems to keep growing thought no stat saying I gained a level in light sword mastery, I ... I just feel it so I keep practicing, practicing ... practicing ... swinging ... and ... I feel I regained my passion ... with my sword, I will transcend everything.

When the time that I can't feel anymore ... I can't feel anymore that I getting something with my sword ... I feel I reach the so-called "bottleneck". I sat up and thought "Is this the end?" while looking at the sky or but only white I can see.


Suddenly, there is a voice I heard at my back.


"Hello?" 

I look back and saw a curl up light.

"Who are you?" I immediately asked, like a caveman's first time seeing a fire.

"I am you, and you are me," The ball of light said.

"What do you mean?" Rosa asked with a confused expression.

"I am your past" The ball of light replied.

"My past?" Rosa asked.

"Ya, your past and be your guide for now in this world" The ball of light replied.

"What do you mean this world?" Rosa asked.

"This world is you, what you become is the world become, like me, you created me because you wish to remove your past existence that why I am here," The ball of light explained.

"So you mean If I imagine there is a beast here, there will be?" Rosa asked and shut his eye to focus on imagining.

Suddenly there is an accumulating dark sphere but it explodes.

 "What happened?" Rosa asked with a bewildered expression.

"You don't have sufficient spirit power" The ball of light replied. 

"So what can I do here?" Rosa asked. 

"You can browse books there" the ball of light forms a direction arrow pointing to the left then when I look at directions, suddenly a library was built. 

"Ow! amazing!" I walk up to it and read some titles of books 'Art of war, Special items, so on ...'  so that day I started reading, I learned ... I digested it... I read and I learned. The continuous process goes on, sometimes when I'm bored I practiced sword style or talking to the ball of light.

"I learned to the ball of light that this world was my spirit world, because of my unique body or so-called world psyche body. Many so-called unique bodies, according to some books I read there were Demonic Body, Phoenix Body, Immortal Body, and many more. They are called the gifted, they have overwhelming advantages of course have some weakness to like Demonic body they lose good conscience that harms the balance of his soul that makes it easier to be corrupted.

As for my world body, books have not many records for such things. And about these books that started to appear, I asked that ball of light and he replied with the confusing expression "Eh? you don't know? This is your spirit." After that, he started to ignore me when I'm asking about my spirit as if he was forbidden to say anything.

Time goes on or maybe not, because on this world as if they don't have a concept of time but based on my calculation 100 years I am here or more? I don't know anymore. 


The books here seem unlimited they keep appearing layer of the bookshelf is appearing in the horizon. I don't know how many books I have read but I keep doing it. Leaving this world?, I don't find yet the answer to it, I asked the ball of light but he just ignoring me, so I continue the search in books, I kept reading books and books and books until I suddenly gained inspiration that since this is my world so why not  ... "

I created a door based on the design I saw in the books I read.

"The door of Spirit" I designed it as I'm the only one can go out and in, that even God entity can't go in"

"Looks like you already found the way" The ball of light suddenly forms a person that looks like me.

"But the last thing you must do was to kill me" Rosa the light smile brightly.

"Why do I have to kill you, you ... you are the only person I have ... " Rosa said. 

"There is always end for everything and you must erase me to forget the past" Rosa the light said.

"No" Rosa suddenly turns his back.

"Why?" Rosa the light asked.

"As you wish" Rosa the light smile and form a ball of light and pierce to rosa chest.

Rosa hold his chest and said: "Now the old Rosa has gone, The new Rosa has been born" 

Rosa rose his feet and begin walking to the door.

Kanna saw this and noticed Natsuya's true feelings. She now understood that her previous conjecture about Natsuya and Akatsuki had been incorrect.

After a momentary silence, Kanna spoke up. "Ryuuno, let's go back to the dining hall and grab some more food!"
Kanna decisively made the decision to stop being an unwanted fifth wheel.

Seiji and Natsuya watched them leave before looking back towards each other.
Natusya took a long, good look at his face. Seiji was unable to bear it and averted his gaze, which made Natsuya smile.
"Can you accompany me outside for a walk?" she asked gently.
"Of course," he said.
And so, the two of them left their seats and went out for a walk. They arrived at the garden where the Spirit-branded Retainers had been waiting at earlier.
"This is a beautiful garden."
"The other Spirit-branded Retainers and I were waiting here at the beginning."
"What did you do here?"
"Not much. I just sat down in that pagoda, chatted with Izawa-san, and borrowed a light novel from him to read."
"What type of light novel?"
"Its name is I Reincarnated to Another World and Became a Female Magical Swordsman! In the story, the protagonist, a male otaku, is killed by a truck and reincarnates into a different world as a beautiful girl. He trains and becomes a swordsman before embarking on a magical adventure."
Natusya was rendered speechless.
"It wasn't something that Izawa himself wanted to read; it was a book that Fujihara-san set for homework. She even forced him to write a five-hundred-word book report on it afterwards." Seiji sighed and continued, "Izawa-san has it difficult, serving a master like her."
"Haha, indeed." Natsuya recalled Kanna's endless preaching about boys' love and couldn't help but smile. "Is it an interesting novel?"
"It's pretty interesting. Although some of the scenes are a bit exaggerated, overall it's still pretty good. If I had to write a book report about it, it would be quite easy."
"Oh, then I'll buy a copy and read it as well."
"Er, I don't recommend that one to you. Some of the jokes in it may be difficult for you to understand," Seiji said in a roundabout fashion.
This genre of the novel was specifically aimed at a male audience. In other words, it had lots of ecchi gentlemanly content! This was definitely not a good novel to recommend to a female reader, especially one who was only a beginner at light novels.
"Natsuya, you don't read light novels often, right?"
"That's correct."
"If you'd like to read one, I recommend you start with an excellent novel that most normal readers will find easy to understand and enjoy, such as Chronicles of the Demon Blade."
Seiji began to give her a detailed review.
Natsuya quietly listened to him talk. Actually, she wasn't interested in light novels. She just wanted to read what he enjoyed reading.

"Oh right, Shika-chan and I cooperated to write the story Brother Monogatari. It's already scheduled to be published. Although I don't know the date, it should be out soon." Seiji smiled. "This story has mysterious, mystical demons and spirits as the main topic. If you're interested, try reading it when it's available."
Natsuya blinked in surprise. She already learned from Mai that Seiji was writing a story together with Shika Kagura. However, she didn't expect that it would be published so quickly.
Natsuya smiled. "I'm quite interested in it, Idle Dimension by the Shore Sensei. You must tell me when it's officially published. I'll immediately purchase a copy on the first day."
"Eh, you know about it?" Seiji was surprised by this.
"Houjou-san told me about it. I've read your short story that was published in a magazine before. Should I give you my review?"
"Please, by all means."
"I thought it was wonderful; the best short light novel I've ever read," Natsuya said sincerely.
"Although you just admitted that you don't read this type of novel very often, I'm still happy to hear that. Thank you for your praise." Seiji bowed.
Both of them smiled.
"As long as it's your story, I'll read it. I'll become—no, I already am your fan, Shore Sensei."
"It's my honor to have such a great fan like you. It's even giving me pressure. Looks like I'll have to work even harder in the future."
The boy and girl chatted casually as they strolled through the grounds. After walking a circle around the garden, they sat down together in the pagoda.
A moment of silence fell between them.
As Seiji was silently observing their forested surroundings, Natsuya suddenly reached over and removed his sunglasses.
He looked towards Natsuya and saw that she was grinning widely. She then removed his wool-knit hat and flattened his high collar.
"What's the matter?" Seiji asked.
"I want to see your face." There was a gentle expression on Natsuya's face, and her eyes were as still as water.
Seiji was rendered speechless. He was caught off guard by this sudden cannon attack!
This sentence combined with the beautiful president's current expression seemed just like cheating! A series of difficult-to-describe emotions welled up within him: his insides burned, yet he felt somewhat stifled, and even itchy.
"I… you're quite familiar with my face already. There's not much to look at." Seiji averted his gaze.
Natsuya's heart began beating even quicker when she saw how embarrassed Seiji was.
She didn't know why she had this sudden impulse, but she did, and couldn't help but follow her heart and voice her thoughts.
Although she was somewhat embarrassed inside a corner of her heart, at the current moment, the urge to follow her impulse had far surpassed her embarrassment.
"Yes, I'm quite familiar with your face, but no matter how familiar I am with it, I can't get enough."
'Just what am I saying! Me of all people!' Natsuya berated herself even as she said this.
An embarrassed voice protested from the corner of her heart. However, this voice was far too weak and didn't accomplish anything at all.
Seiji's body froze solid from this second sudden cannon attack. After that, he felt his head being pulled down by her hands, and he collapsed.
His head fell into something soft.
The soft sensation, faint aroma, and comfortable feeling caused Seiji's mind to go blank for several seconds. Finally, he realized what was happening to him.
This pose, this experience… could it be the legendary… lap pillow!?
