LOCATION : MARTIAL GROUND, CELESTE MANOR.
"Come at me again." 
Killian orders in a firm voice standing a couple of meters away from Mira who seems to have received quite a beating as she had her hands on her knees and was breathing heavily.
"Can we take a break now. I am exhausted."
Mira replies in a tired voice.
"Mira, you were the one that decided to take part in the Defense exams after Agent Mae approached you. We cannot slack off on your training even for a minute else you end up going there and making a fool out of yourself."
Killian remarks with Mira rolling her eyes.
"Oh come on. Most of the participants are just going to be regular paupers. I don't think I have anything to fear from a bunch of nobodies."
Mira retorts with an air of pride.
Killian squints at her words and immediately charges for her without warning, Mira is taken by surprise as she tries to put up a block but is unsuccessful as Killian grabs her arm and trips her, causing her to land painfully on the ground with her butt.
"Ow. What was that for??... You didn't even give me a heads up or something." 
Mira remarks with a pained expression on her face as she rubbed her butt to numb the pain she felt.
"Mira… you are a good girl. A strong lady with a strong will. This would all be worth mentioning if not that you have a flaw that is quite detrimental to you. No-one is perfect that's for sure but amongst your many flaws, the one that stands out the most is your pride. It might come back one day to haunt you." 
Killian asserts in a calm tone as he reached out to help Mira back to her feet.
"Oh please. I'm not that proud. I'm only saying the truth."
Mira retorts as she grabbed Killian's palm and got to her feet, dusting her buttocks in the process.
"Uh-huh. If that is the case, I am also a pauper yet you have never been able to beat me. How do you explain that."
Killian remarks.
Mira pauses for a second as she collected her thoughts after which she spoke.
"well that's because you grew up in this manor. You are basically one of us now. My dad has said it several occasions and I agree with him completely. So don't you dare compare yourself with poor people."
Mira seems satisfied with the response she gave as she gives off a bright smile. 
"Uh-huh. Anyways do not slack off on your training even for a moment. Those poor people you speak of, can be quite dangerous especially when pushed to the wall."
Killian remarks as he turns to walk away. 
"Oh please, I think I'll be fine and anyways now when did you start speaking so highly of paupers. Thought you despised them."
Mira says with a chuckle as she follows Killian.
"I do not despise them. As your personal guard, I only support you in the things you do, no more and no less."
Killian replies as both individuals walked back into the main section of the manor.
[FLASHBACK ENDS]

"You told me not to underestimate them and here I am going against your teachings. Sorry bout that, Killian. I'll try to listen to you more often."
Mira thinks to herself as she turns to face where Killian sat in the spectators stand and beheld a worried look on his face.
"I'll try not to worry you so much."
Pan claps his palms together and faces them towards Mira.
"Bakuhatsu-mono : Gurēnedoranchā ( Explosive arts : Grenade launcher)."
The dark brown dust in his hands begin to merge, finally forming what seemed to be a short musket with a rather large nozzle.
Mira shakes off the numbness in her legs and finally gets to her feet.
"Finally got on your feet, little miss. It would have been better if you had stayed down."
Pan remarks as he points the nozzle of his weapon towards Mira.
"I'm not about to lose here, even more to the likes of someone like you. So you better watch yourself."
Mira yells as she claps her hands together and her wall of mirrors reconstitute in front of her, this time forming a rectangular shaped wall.
"Be gone."
Pan says as he shoots out a dark brown spherical object from the nozzle of his weapon which traveled at twice the speed of sound.
The object collides with Mira's mirror wall and explodes on impact, making a loud bang as it blew up with a huge dust cloud forming.

"Are you sure the arena would be able to take this amount of explosions?"
Jeroam asks turning his face to stare at Markov whom had a worried look on his face.
"If I had known that there was a participant with Explosion has his variance amongst this year's exams roster, I would have made preparations to ensure that the arena be sturdy enough."
Markov replies.
"Which I should take as you are not sure if the arena is explosion proof??"
Jeroam says with Markov nodding in the affirmative.
"All we can do is hope that he is nothing above his third path currently, else this arena would get obliterated by his attacks."
Markov remarks looking a little worried.
"Uh-huh. Do not worry so much, an honest mistake on your part and which can be easily rectified."
Jeroam remarks as he turns back to the battle.
"If it gets too bumpy down there, I'll seal off the space in the arena."

The dust cloud clears to reveal Mira's mirror wall still standing and she seemed relatively unscathed standing behind it.
"Tch. I can't believe that you actually blocked my grenade with your mirrors. Quite impressive. Though I do wonder how long that mirror wall of yours can hold up??... Tell me."
Pan remarks with a grin as he puts up his weapon for a second wave.
"Do I block this or try to avoid it. The explosive he shot at me just now moved pretty fast. Would I be able to avoid it well enough to come in close. I wonder if he can actually adjust the blast radius of his explosives….. How good is he at aiming and how powerful can his attacks get….. What the hell am I doing thinking so much about a pauper's ability."
Mira's thoughts run wild as she tries to figure out her next course of action.
"Bakuhatsu-mono : Gurēnedoranchā – rapiddofaia ( Explosive arts : Grenade launcher – Rapid fire)."
Pan points his bomber towards Mira and begins to shoot at her with the grenade coming out rapidly. Six explosives fired out of the launcher one after the other, all moving at twice the speed of sound as they flew towards the mirror wall.
The resulting explosion on impact rocks the arena slightly as some of the spectators had to cover their ears due to how loud the explosions were. The dust cloud this time is much large than the last and more wide spread as it covered almost half of the arena.
Pan strains his eyes to ensure that his explosives had met their intended target.
"Is her wall still standing even after that amount of bombing."
Pan thought to himself as he looks on. He attempts to move forward but stops in his tracks. The dust cloud clears slightly in front of him and he soon realizes his error as he leaped back just as a beam shot to where he was standing.
Pan tuns his head in the direction from where the beam was shot and laid eyes on a medium sized mirror glinting in the sunlight.
"How the.."
Pan trails off as he realizes that he had been completely surrounded with no way of escape by several mirrors.
"So this is how you intend on taking me down??... By spreading your mirrors thin??"
Pan remarks as he sets eyes in Mira still standing at the location she was in before his explosive attack.
"You are not the only with explosive tricks, mister."
Mira retorts as she kept her right arm extended towards Pan.
"Leaving yourself completely defenseless and focusing completely on attack. Isn't that a bit too bold or are you just underestimating me?"
Pan remarks calmly, he seemed to be quite at ease upon his predicament. "You must be crazy to think that those are the only mirrors I can produce."
Mira replies.
"Oh but I am not far from the truth am I??... So far you have only done one technique to create mirrors and since then you have been making use of the ones you created. So there are only two conclusions to be drawn from that; one, either you cannot create more than this and so are stuck with this number. Two, or you actually are capable of creating more but that puts a massive strain on your body so you deter yourself from going that far in battle most likely because the rebound is enough to knock you out for quite some time. There could be a third option whereby you are actually pulling your punches and you have much more power underneath but for some reason I don't think that is the case. So tell me if I am wrong or not."
Pan remarks with a grin as he attempts to walk forward.

His clothes were burned and torn from several places whereas his body was badly wounded.
"Xiyuing! Why are you here?"
The man called with anger and frustration. He stood up to face her.
Hearing him, Xiuying flickered her beautiful auburn hair.
"Didn't I told you that keep watch on your disciples that they don't go around harassing women?"
"Tch..."
Hua Bao remembered their last meeting.

Some years ago, overcome by their young old, some disciples of Mount Hua Sect planned to force themselves on a woman from Pure Flower Palace because all of them were rejected by her.

Surprisingly Xiuying managed to destroy one of Hua Bao's eyes before other women came and Hua Bao retreated.
"Remember to keep your filthy disciples in check!"
Xiuying said to his back as he was running away.
No matter how strong he was, he couldn't fight everyone there at once. He felt ashamed, humiliated, and ridiculed. He, in his mind, decided to take revenge on Pure Flower Palace, especially Xiuying.

'Did she got to know what my little brother did with Crescent Moon Sect's female disciples? Yeah I'm sure, she wouldn't be here otherwise. Dam you...'
"Ah right, but I never thought you will be at my throat even though we didn't affect you in any way."
Hua Bao processed his thought and replied to her.
He didn't want to fight her in this situation. Saving some of his disciples, that's it if any of them is alive, from being buried alive takes priority.
"You see, right now I'm in a problem. We can fight later. I bet it wouldn't be prideful of you to fight someone who is already worn out, right Xiuying?"
Xiuying realized that he is avoiding fighting her because he is not confident in winning.

She raised her hand and a floating circular mirror appeared in front of her legs on which she stepped with her beautiful high heels. The mirror took her some meter above from the ground.
"I would be proud of myself if I remove a scum like your from this world. Mirrors!"
Just after she said, a large number of circular mirrors appeared around her. They were arranged in a circle, each of them facing Hua Bao. They were a total of three circles formed by mirrors around her.
"You don't get it, do you?"
Hua Bao said in an angry voice as he lowered himself and touched the ground with his fingers.
"Your powers are not a good match against mine, Xiuying."
Followed by a large sound, several hundred rocks flew towards Xiuying and her mirrors.
*THUD* *THUD*
Xiuying easily defended herself from the rocks but all her mirrors got shattered because of them.
"Hahaha..."
Seeing this, Hua Bao laughed mockingly.
Xiuying's power let her create and control mirrors. She can use these mirrors to fight her opponents. This ability is strong against opponents who use light-based attacks to fight but weak if they are using physical attacks like Hua Bao.
Xiuying was unfazed even though all her mirrors broke. She was still floating while standing on the mirror with a calm expression.
"Isn't it too soon to celebrate your win?"
All the shards that were formed because of the destruction of the mirror stopped in the middle of the air.
"Huh?"
*SWOOSH*
All those sharp shards flew towards surprised Hua Bao. Unlike their previous fight, Xiuying was now able to control the broken pieces of mirrors.
"Fuck!"
Hua Bao screamed as two big rocks appeared out of the ground in front of him to defend him from shards.
Xiuying smirked and made a gesture with her fingers.
Rather than hitting the big rocks, those shards changed their way to avoid them and hit Hua Bao mercilessly. Those shards made a lot of cuts on his body, some even penetrating his body.
"Aaaaaaaaaa...."
A scream came out of his mouth. He was bleeding everywhere from his body.
"Hehe..."
Seeing him in such a bad state, Xiuying got back on the ground while giggling.
"Weren't you saying that my powers are bad against you?"
Xiuying taunted him while walking towards him.
"You bitch!"
Hua Bao was furious. Today was not his good day.
He stood up even though he felt weak and removed his eye band showing a gouged out eye.
"Water is above the head now."
Hua Bao said as he was ready to counter-attack.

Momochi Zabuza obviously miscalculated, and he must have been in such a hurry to slash at it that he thought the condensed tail couldn't move.
Unfortunately, Naruto can move at any time, and even if he keeps one tail, he can still do so.
Without hesitation, he took control of his tail and shot it at Zabuza's 2 tails.
The tail was twice as fast as the knife in Zabuza's hand, and the tip coalesced into a slap that was aimed at Zabuza's body.
The two tails struck Zabuza's body and sent him flying with a loud "pop".
The force of the blow caused Zabuza to spit blood in his mouth and slam into the ground, where he slid several meters away from the ground.
Byakugan, on the other side, saw Zabuza's injury and paused.
He raised his hand to gather the ice needles, raised his foot, and dashed towards Naruto.
Naruto's third tail was already exposed, and three of them were aimed at Haku.
He was able to avoid the three tails, and was in front of Naruto in an instant.
Quickly Shaping chakra, he unleashed the secret technique of Ice Escape, Magic Mirror and Ice Crystal.
Several ice mirrors condensed around Naruto, enveloping him in them.
Haku's figure slowed down and disappeared. The masked Haku appears in the countless mirrors and looks at Naruto.

Naruto, who was flying with his tail, could only slap it on the ground to avoid being injured by his own tail.
Actually, it just occurred to him that he was becoming more and more proficient in chakra control, and his tail-dancing speed had reached a terrifying level.

The earth hit Haku's body and smashed him into the ground with a "bang".
The dirt kept spitting out and hitting Bai's body.
" Ahhhhhhh "
The Haku body was in excruciating pain, and he couldn't help but scream out. The mask on his face was smashed to pieces.
Haku's body was covered with wounds.
Zabuza looked at him and knew that in less than a minute, Haku would definitely be dead.

Nanami panicked and at the same time, her whole body held Naruto in a death grip.

Zabuza, who was now right behind Naruto, jumped in without any hesitation.
With a glance at Zabuza, Naruto smiled and said that he wanted to distract Zabuza because he had something to discuss with her.
Zabuza didn't run as fast as Naruto, who was at full power, but still followed him relentlessly.
After running for a few hundred meters, Naruto stopped and stood on the branch of a tree, turning to look at Zabuza, who was only a few dozen meters behind him.

"Both Zabuza and Haku have already arrived," said Naruto silently.

"How do you know that?" asked Sasuke. After all, if Kakashi, a Jonin, could not sense their enemies in this thick mist, how can a Genin.

"I can sense their heat signatures," replied Naruto quietly.

"That's pretty amazing," commented Kakashi. "Your affinity to fire must be really high if you can do that."

"It's as high as the Second Hokage's affinity if not higher," said Naruto proudly.

"I though you had a high affinity to lightning," muttered Kakashi.

"Yes, lightning too. Although it's not as high as my fire affinity, it's not that far off," said Naruto, cocentrating on the two enemy's heat signature. "I can sense my opponent's bioelectricity that runs in their body, however, the range is smaller than sensing their heat signature."

"That already makes you a strong sensor, though not in the normal sense," said Kakashi.

The group continued walking until they stood a few meters away from their enemy.

Naruto quickly did some hand seals and unleashed a gust of wind, blowing away the mist that was covering the area.

"I really hate wind users," muttered Zabuza as he released a thick layer of Killing Intent.

Naruto and Kakashi appeared to be immune to the Killing Intent as Sasuke and Sakura were sweating hard. Tazuna was already panting heavily on the ground as his knees had already given out.

Naruto then quickly produced four clones and erected his barrier, protecting Sasuke, Sakura and Tazuna.

"Zabuza, Gatõ plans to betray you and have you killed off regardless should you succeed in killing Tazuna," said Naruto. "How about you join Konoha? We could use someone as strong as the two of you."

"Naruto, you can't just offer asylum to a Rogue Ninja," said Kakashi.

"Why not?" asked Naruto.

"What makes you think I want to join the Leaf?" askes Zabuza.

"Aren't you tired of always being on the run and scrounging around just to live, Zabuza?" asked Naruto. "Kakashi, both of these guys are super strong and you know why. They'll be of great help."

"I'll still fight you," said Zabuza. "I still habe a reputation to uphold, kid. Should Gatõ appear to finish me off, I'll consider joining the Leaf."

"That's fine by me!" said Naruto.

Haku immediately started going through hand seals and muttered: "Demonic Ice Mirrors!"

Naruto was immediately covered by ice mirrors that connected with each other and looked like an ice dome. Haku entered one of the mirrors and became nothing more than a reflection.

"Haku, you can't win against me in your current level," said Naruto, staring at Haku's reflection. "I know all about your Demonic Ice Mirrors."

"Stop bluffing," said Haku. "There's no way you can know about my mirrors."

"Information gathering is half of a Ninja's job, Haku," said Naruto, smirking. "Did you really think I was simply training over the past week?"

"That's not going to stop me from killing you," said Haku as every single mirror suddenly had Haku's reflection in it.

Naruto noticed that each Haku was holding metal needles in each hand and was about to attack.

Naruto suddenly shifted his weight as he quickly dodged a few metal needles that was about to hit him. He already knew from his spying on Haku that Haku's speed would be far greater than normal when he was inside his mirrors, but not by this much.

"You're the first person to dodge my attacks when trapped inside my mirrors," said Haku, looking at Naruto with a surprised expression.

Haku continued her relentless assault on Naruto, launching a multitude of metal needles at Naruto, while he was dodging every single one of them without even needing to use his Sharingan.

"HOW ARE YOU DODGING MY ATTACKS?!" roared Haku in frustration.

"You've never faced someone like me before, have you?" asked Naruto, his smirk growing wider. "I'll tell you if you can beat me."

Seconds trickled into minutes as Naruto continued to dodge the continues assault of the metal needles.

'This is a good way to train one's reflexes and concentration,' thought Naruto.

As this exchange went on, Naruto noticed Haku's speed slowing down. "This jutsu of yours is up too much chakra and you're already running low. How about we stop here?"

"SHUT UP!" roared Haku as he charged as fast as she could at Naruto.

Considering that Haku's chakra was already running low, his speed had dropped considerably compared to when the fight had first started. As Haku closed in, Naruto immediately extended a hand and grabbed Haku's wrist. He followed through with landing a solid punch on Haku's face, sending him crashing on one of the mirrors. Unable to the impact of the crash, the Ice Mirror shattered into pieces and Haku was sent flying away.

Having defeated his opponent, Naruto casually started walking towards where Kakashi and Zabuza were fighting off. Naruto secretly activated his Sharingan and watched the fight between the two Jonin level Ninjas.

Kakashi quickly did a few hand seals and said, "Chidori!" A large amount of Lightning Nature chakra gathered in Kakashi's hand and it produced a sound effect of a multitude of chirping birds.

'One Thousand Birds,' thought Naruto. 'Such a fitting name.'

Naruto glanced over to where Zabuza was standing and noticed him bleeding from both his hands.

"Kakashi, wait," said Naruto suddenly. "We have company."

"The brat managed to defeat Haku is no ordinary Genin," said Zabuza, watching Naruto walking up towards their battle. "He must be at least Jonin level to beat Haku without getting hurt."

"Look at that, the Demon Zabuza defeated by a some punks," said a voice coldly.

The group turned around and saw a man walking towards them with a large group of thugs behind him from the far side of the bridge.

"What are you doing here, Gatõ?" asked Zabuza distasteful.

"I'm here to finish you off, Zabuza," said Gatõ arrogantly. "You're simply way too expensive to hire."

"We are no longer enemies," said Zabuza to Kakashi before turning to Naruto. "You were right, kid."

Zabuza picked up his sword as he faced against Gatõ.

"Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu," said Naruto as 50 clones appeared with puffs of smoke.

"Kid, how can you pull of so many Shadow Clones?" asked Zabuza in shock.

"I'm a chakra powerhouse," replied Naruto, chuckling. "I'll clear up the thugs. Have your way with Gatõ. I hate backstabbers.

Naruto's clones all rushed towards Gatõ's thugs and seconds later were all lying on the ground, unconscious. Zabuza rushed at a trembling Gatõ and brought his massive sword down, cutting Gatõ in half horizontally.

Naruto called off his clones as he lazily looked at everyone. His 4 clones that had erected the barrier around his teammates and Tazuna brought it down and everyone came together.

"So what now?" asked Zabuza.

"The offer still stands about the two of you joining our village," said Naruto. "We will leave as soon as Tazuna finishes the bridge."

"I don't know if the Hokage is going to agree, Naruto," said Kakashi.

"I'll take care of the Hokage," said Naruto with an evil smirk, causing a shiver to run through Kakashi's spine.

Zabuza pondered heavily about Naruto's proposal. He truly was tired of this life and if he went to the Leaf, at the very least he could at least sleep well at night and wouldn't be on the run.

"I'll go with you, I truly am tired of this life," said Zabuza.

--- A Few Days Later ---

With Naruto helping Tazuna with his Shadow Clones, the bridge was completed sooner than expected and the Country of Waves had started to recover. Naruto quickly became friends with Haku as both had suffered a lot during their childhood; Naruto for being a Jinchuriki and Haku for his bloodline.

Everyone had been recovering very well from their fight against each other. Naruto received pointers on his swordsmanship from Zabuza and both agreed to spar with each other occasionally.

When Team 7 alongside Zabuza and Haku were about to leave, everyone from the town had gathered up by the bridge to say goodbye to the Ninjas who ended Gatõ's tyranny; their heroes.

The bridge was named after Naruto - The Great Naruto Bridge - by Tsunami as she felt immense appreciation towards him for convincing Inari - the young boy Naruto had scolded - to fight for what he wants.

--- Hokage's Office One Day Later ---

Since the team was made up of only Ninja's only, their return Journey to Konoha was much faster. They were standing in front of the Hokage as Kakashi was giving a report of their successful mission. The Hokage looked up at the Rogue Ninja standing in front of him as he rubbed his temples.

"Naruto-kun, why do you like giving me more paperwork?" asked the Hokage.

"Come on, old man, I told you how to defeat the darn paperwork," said Naruto with a sigh. "Let them join the leaf."

Remembering how much easier his life had become with the usage of Shadow Clones, the Hokage quickly threw two headbands to Zabuza and Haku, causing everyone to be momentarily stunned.

"Sigh ... Zabuza, since you are a Rogue Ninja, you'll work on a probationary period," said the Hokage with a sigh. "As for you, Haku, you can join the next team of Genins when they graduate from the Academy."

"Actually, gramps, Haku has a very good knowledge of medical plants and poison," said Naruto, smiling. "He's also got Kage level chakra control making him very suitable to become a medic."

"How about it, Haku?" asked the Hokage, turning back to Haku. "Do you want to become a combat medic?"

"I would love to, Lord Hokage," said Haku politely.

"Everyone is dismissed," said the Hokage, creating 4 Shadow Clones to start doing his paperwork. "Naruro, how about Ramen?"

"Your treat, gramps," said Naruto as he took out a package. "By the way, I got you something. Take good care of it. It's limited edition."

The Hokage looked at Naruto who winked at him. The Hokage's eyes flashed as he immediately understood what the package was and quickly put it away, giggling.

--- Later That Day Hokage's Office ---

After having Ramen with the Hokage, Naruto went to his office with him and asked him to send away his Anbus for some privacy. He also put up a silencing barrier for added security.

"What is it, Naruto-kun?" asked the Hokage.

"Old man, where do you think this village is heading?" asked Naruto.

"What are you talking about?" asked the Hokage, in a serious tone.

"I'm talking about the direction of this village," replied Naruto.

"What brought this question, Naruto-kun?" asked the Hokage.

"Multiple things," replied Naruto, scratching his ear. "The quality of the Academy's curriculum and the changes that took place in my mission guarding Tazuna. It got bumped up to A-Rank from a C-Rank. That's a major increase. Stuff like this are bound to happen from time to time and we have very limited control over that. But what we do have control over is the quality of our Ninja's curriculum."

"What do you suggest, then?" asked the Hokage, stroking his beard.

"Before I make any suggestions, I want to share what I've witnessed," said Naruto, frowning. "There are definitely some Ninja's who are very talented and they are the ones who end up becoming Jonin level or above. But what about the rest? All those other Ninjas who are stuck being a Genin or a Chunin? When war hits, they're that first ones who get cut off. I've been observing everyone in the village in the last couple of years and the level of Konoha's Ninja's have been in decline. The village has become stagnant. The level of highly talented Ninjas is always limited. I don't know how we can continue claiming to be the strongest of the Elememtal Nations. So I will ask this again; what is the direction Konoha is heading towards?"

Naruto is beaten black and blue by a mob as a child and he awakens a mysterious entity that acts as his emotional support during his difficult childhood.

As he slowly gets stronger, he finds out about his heritage and vows to right all the wrongs done to him.

The Penglai Deity Region was in the middle of the continent. It was shrouded by an incomparably dense Spiritual Qi. It felt as though one were in the Deity Realm.
Legends had it that the Penglai Deity Region contained a natural matrix that drew in Spiritual Qi from the heavens and earth, a matrix laid out by the Donglai Supreme Deity In the past. This was originally the outer regions around the Eastern Deity Island, and it was part of the Eastern Deity Island territory.
In present times, the Penglai Deity Region was unbelievably flourishing. With people from over a thousand continents gathered here, the number of practitioners was unimaginably large.
In the empty space, Ye Futian and his party were traversing the airspace above the Penglai Deity Region. In their surroundings, people were bustling about like a crowd of deities walking about in the air, making this Penglai Deity Region really seem like the realms of Deities.
Ye Futian surveyed the entire region and observed the practitioners that came and went. Some were elders who gave off Deity-like auras, and some were beautiful women that could bewitch anyone with a look. There were also powerful figures whose auras intimidated everyone, and cheeky youngsters who paid no attention to rules of courtesy. There were even monks and nuns.
"Every time the Eastern Deity Island opens, there will always be many people in the Penglai Deity Region. You can find all types of people here; practitioners from the good faction, those from the evil faction. Basically, there will be a large number of practitioners of all types," Emperor Helian said softly. He instructed his people behind him, "While you are here, be careful and avoid getting yourself into trouble."
"Mmm." Emperor Helian's subordinates nodded their heads. Among those from the Helian Royal family who came, apart from Elder Princess Helian You, there were other royal descendants and virtuosos from the royal family. There were still a few days before the Eastern Deity Island opened, so Emperor Helian decided to remind them.
This was not their home continent. On that continent, they were the most powerful people. On the other hand, on this continent, they would not even know the background of any person should they get into a fight with them. Furthermore, they might not even know who to take revenge on if anything happened.
The Divine Prefecture was so vast. If their opponent left, where would they even start searching?
Ye Futian shifted his gaze below and saw many intricately built towers and houses, courtyards, and pavilions; it was a scene of luxury and prosperity. Furthermore, he also noticed that many people had laid out their wares for trade in the pavilions. However, they would release the information beforehand to give interested buyers and traders enough time to travel to the trading location. The most renowned trading location in the Penglai Deity Region is the Penglai Deity Lake, and it appears only every ten years when the Eastern Deity Island opens up to the rest of the world. Common treasures are not even eligible to be traded in that location. Anyone who wanted to trade there had to first have their treasures appraised, then assessed if their treasure was of a high enough grade before being allowed to trade it in the area."
Ye Futian nodded his head. Upon hearing this, he was indeed intrigued and wanted to take a look around. After all, he did possess quite a few treasures himself.
"Well, let's go down then," Ye Futian said. While people were hurrying about in the skies above the Penglai Deity Region, it was even more bustling on the ground.
The party landed on the ground and walked on this Deity Realm-like land. There were no guesthouses around, although there were a few inns that could only accommodate a few people. The fragrance of alcohol wafted from the sides of the pavement and pervaded the street.
Apart from this, in this Deity Realm, the typical person had aesthetic features. When one cultivated to a high enough level, their bodies and auras would undergo a profound change. A woman would develop striking features, especially women who were born beautiful; they could be said to be very pleasing to the eyes.
However, once they have cultivated to such a high level, the temptation of physical attractiveness would no longer be that great.
"Are you selling Spirit Herbs?" Ye Futian looked towards the pavilion at the side. There was an old man in ragged clothes standing behind his stall. There was only one stalk of Spirit Herb. It was completely crimson, and it caused the air around it to be quite hot. Ye Futian could vaguely sense the Will of Fire contained within the herb.
"Mmm, it was formed after being nourished by the Will of a Great Path," Beigong Ao nodded and said. "This Spirit Herb isn't of a high grade, so it should not be very valuable. However, to a practitioner at the Saint Plane, it would be extremely useful."
Ye Futian nodded his head. In the past, when he was still in the Original Realm, he once traveled to the Ocean Path in the secret zone in the Shangxiao Divine Palace to cultivate further, and so he understood.
The party continued moving forward. While they did see quite a number of valuable items, none of them interested Ye Futian. After all, he had seen much greater things, and thus, was not easily impressed.
"Why don't we go take a look at the Penglai Deity Lake?" Ye Futian said. The party continued on their way and came upon an ethereal mountain. Around the mountain, there were matrices laid out and even highly skilled practitioners standing guard.
"Do you all want to go in with me or…?" Ye Futian asked as he looked at Emperor Helian and the rest.
"I will also go in and take a look," Emperor Helian smiled and said. After giving out instructions to his people behind him, he just brought along two people. Beigong Ao and Yang Dongqing did the same. 11 people continued proceeding forward, and these eleven people were the same people who were going to enter the Eastern Deity Island, while the others waited outside.
At the stairway to Deity Lake, someone lightly bowed to them, smiled, and said, "Distinguished guests."
Ye Futian and the rest naturally understood what the person meant. Everyone who came here understood the rules.
Ye Futian took out an entrance pass and asked, "Will this be fine?"
"Yes, of course." The person smiled. "Please proceed."
The entrance pass that Ye Futian retrieved was the Eastern Deity entrance pass, this item could be used to trade for things, and it could fetch quite a high price too. The pass also proved that Ye Futian and his party had been extended the invitation and were thus allowed to enter.
As they walked upwards, they could feel that the region gathered the essence of the heavens and earth, and Spiritual Qi was concentrated to an unbelievable extent. In a luxurious pavilion, there was a Deity Lake, in which the aura of deities pervaded. Around Deity Lake, there were many extraordinary figures trading items.
While there weren't many people here, those who were here had cultivation levels and auras that far surpassed those who were outside this area.
The Penglai Deity Lake was five kilometers long. This pavilion inside was unbelievably extravagant. It was a hundred meters tall and was like a completely different world.
On the two sides of Deity Lake were a couple of stalls. There were quite a few people who were seated cross-legged on the ground, and arranged in front of them were some treasures, most of which were pretty valuable.
"What is this?" Ye Futian stopped at a certain stall. Laid out on the ground were two mirrors, from which Ye Futian unexpectedly sensed a slight ripple in the Great Path, and even a few wisps of Spatial Will of the Great Path.
"These are the Mother-Son Yuanyang Mirrors, mirrors that are bound to each other. When two people simultaneously refine the mirrors, they will be able to see each other and communicate through the mirrors even if they are separated by billions of continents." The stall owner exuded a deity-like aura and had an unusual air about him. He looked at Xia Qingyuan, who was standing beside Ye Futian, and said, "If my friend here and your missus lack these, they will be very useful to you."
Ye Futian's expression shifted slightly. He did not know that such treasures existed. After all, he had never heard about them in the Original Realm.
In the Divine Prefecture, Blacksmith Grandmasters cannot be matched by anyone in the Original Realm. In fact, they might not even be found in the Original Realm, and so many forging techniques have ceased to be passed on.
If they had this item, it would make things very convenient for them.
However, what caught Xia Qingyuan's attention was how the stall owner addressed her. She turned her beautiful eyes to the Ye Futian beside her and noticed that he actually did not deny it.
"What is the price?" Ye Futian asked.
"A ninth-grade Renhuang Implement," the stall owner stated his price. Practitioners in the Divine Prefecture aligned the grades of implements to cultivation levels, so there were nine grades of implements.
Thus, any ninth-grade Renhuang implement was a top-tier implement.
"It's just a communication device. Surely it's not worth that much?" Ye Futian said.
"Although this pair of Mother-Son Yuanyang Mirrors is just a communication device, it is very difficult to forge them, and only Blacksmith Super Grandmasters are able to do so. Even then, they need to be well versed in various elements of Great Paths and have to use very rare materials in order to forge them. Thus, the item is extremely valuable, and only powerful figures in top-tier factions could afford to use this, making it a symbol of status. This was the first time he had done so. In that case, were they really cultivation partners?
A slightly surprised look flashed across Xia Qingyuan's eyes. She lowered her head, slightly nodded, and let out a very delicate and soft sound.
"Let's go." Ye Futian walked off. The old stall owner casually smiled and said, "Please do as you like, but there are a lot of people who came to Penglai Deity Lake this time, and they are all figures with very high status. There is only one pair of Mother-Son Yuanyang Mirrors. If other people bought it, there would not be a second set left."
Trading, fundamentally, was a psychological game. While Ye Futian expressed that he did not need it, he was really doing it to lower the price. Having been in the cultivation world for so many years, how could the stall owner not see through Ye Futian's mind tricks?

"How about I trade cultivation techniques for this?" Ye Futian asked.
The old man shook his head. With his cultivation level, he could easily access places like the Dongyuan Pavilion, so he did not need cultivation techniques.
As for the really powerful and secret techniques, the Mother-Son Yuanyang Mirrors were not valuable enough, and he knew that.
"What about an eight-grade implement?" Ye Futian asked again. The old man still shook his head, shut his eyes, and said, "Since my friend here is insincere about buying, please leave."
"Old man, you win," Ye Futian turned around and walked to the old man. The old man revealed a smile and said, "This old man can still read people very accurately. My young friend here looks like a very extraordinary person. I was certain that you could afford to trade in a ninth-grade implement. Furthermore, it's for the sake of your lady."
Without saying anything, Ye Futian tossed him a storage ring. The old man used his divine consciousness to appraise the stored item, smiled, and said, "No problem. It's a deal."
Ye Futian received the Mother-Son Yuanyang Mirrors, and gave one of them to Xia Qingyuan. Apart from Little Condor, only he and Xia Qingyuan came to the Divine Prefecture!


In a time when the Divine Prefectures of the East Sea were in great disarray, Emperor Ye Qing and Donghuang the Great appeared to save the day. Under their rule, the prefectures united and all nations as well as  their kings have been controlled. However, the legend of these two great heroes becomes altered when Emperor Ye Qing's name is wiped from the history books after his sudden death. All statues and images of him were destroyed and his name a taboo. Only the legend of Donghuang the Great shall live on.                            

Fifteen years later, a young man by the name of Ye Futian begins his journey in search for his true identity. The legend of Futian was going to be one for the history books.
