On the playground of interstellar prison.

Jin Zhao lies on the ground, his trembling knees mixed with blood were crushed into the concrete ground, as he gasps heavily.

The sharp pain was beyond incomparable. His whole body seems to have been crushed, broken up and recombined.

No part of the skin exposed from the tattered prison uniform was intact. The bruises and blood scabs were mottled and ugly, just like his blind right eye.

He is like a dying fish on the shore, with his hollow eyes open, his thin fingers stretched out in the void. The knuckles of that hand had long been cracked, even revealing the dense bones inside.

After grabbing a handful of dirt, he was violently shoved into the soil again—!

"Still want to struggle? Just make a mistake, dead sick ghost! and I'll blind your eye, okay?"

A hand slammed his body over, and accompanied by a scornful laughter, the abuser's smelly foot ran over his other eye.

The big violent perpetrator spat on him and left while laughing.
The smell of blood blew over the wire fence above the prison, mixed with disgusting abuse.

Jin Zhao vomited out a mouthful of blood, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with his barely moving hand, supported himself with his elbow and stood up, swaying like a deadly sick ghost in the crowd. He stood there for a long time, and indifferently wiped off the messy shoe prints on his prison uniform.

There are eleven footprints in total.
Since he was put in this prison, there have been five people who have beaten him viciously.

The first volume of this novel is set in the interstellar future. The plot at the beginning is very exciting. When the protagonist Jin Zhao was born, there was actually an sss-level gene accompanied by an energy source in his body. Quite rare resource! So he hid for twelve years. His biological parents couldn't bear such a hiding life, hated him as a monster, and sold him into a military prison.

The military prison directly regarded him as a guinea pig-like research object, saying that it was research, but in fact it was torture, trying to study the source of energy in him, creating a super soldier——

The beginning of this immediately attracted the attention of Rong Wan. According to the routine of shuangwen novels, the protagonist is bound to open up a variety of things, such as snatching treasure, slapping face and collecting beauties for his imperial harem. 

The next development is either for the protagonist to retaliate against those who despise and insult him with tenfold insults——The Shuangwen route.

The price of a kindle is reading seven hadith books. I wake up, sigh, and put on my glasses. Pushing back my covers, I get out of bed. I shiver. After grabbing my phone, I walk to my bathroom. I check the time and look at my text from my best friend.  Sky: good morning. I text her good morning and turn on my music. I get in the shower and sing to the music. A little after ten mins I got out. I go to my closet and pick out some clothes. I put on a white and black striped shirt and paired it with a pink skirt that had a bow. I put on some black converse and go to my vanity. I put my hair in space buns. Once I finish, I grab my backpack and my phone. I walk out of the room turning off my light and walk downstairs. My mom is at the table making coffee and scrambled eggs. I grab a plate and a mug and I put some food on my plate and some coffee in my mug. Once I finish eating, I grab my stuff and say goodbye to my mother. I walk to my car and drive to school. As soon as I get out of my car, I see my best friend Skylar. I walk up to her and hug her. "Hey Lola," she says. Only my really close people call me Lola. " Hey Sky," I say. We walk into the school. As soon as we walk in, I trip on someone's foot and fall on my face. Everyone starts laughing except Skylar. I get up and walk away. Sunday came along and it was book faire day ,and a day before i start my second year. I was getting ready ,putting my wrist watch on when Bailey marched in with two outfits on each hand.
"Ok ,choose." She demanded ,the outfit on her left hand was ,a highwested denim short with a red croptop and a black and blue flanal. The outfit on her right hand was a flower printed black loos dress which had spagitty straps and a belt to acsentuate her waist.

"The dress." i said and started combing my hair. I can see her contemplating my choice, i knew this would contradict with her, she always liked her short jeans. 

"I mean the jeans is also nice." I said ,nodding my head towards her and she smiled brightly.
"The jeans it is!" she exclaimed and ran back to her room.
I rolled my eyes and looked at my reflection, i was wearing a denim short that reached my knees and a long tank top that is cut on the lower sides with my nike shoes. I tied my hair in a high slick ponytail leaving all the attention on my bangs. 
"Bay, you finished?" i asked ,stuffing the things needed in my shorts.
"5 minutes tops ,i promise." She yelled back, she always took too much time to get ready, even if everything she wears is so easy and an every day outfit ,she does it as slow as possible. And don't get me started on how slow she is when she is stressed, she goes from a turtle to a snail.

"Done!" She ran in my room and twirled.
"Wow that was unusually fast." 
"People can change you know." She turned around and left my room with a model walk.
"What's for breakfast?" I asked, i was craving pancakes.
"Do i look like i know?" Bay said with a raised eyebrow, "You're mocking me aren't you?" she asked slowley ,twisting her lips, "You know i can't cook. But you still asked that question." She waved her hands in the air "I can't belive you." and she went into the kitchen.
"I still don't understand why you aren't learning stage performance instead of physical therapy?" 
I asked ,pulling the cereal box out, what? i am sometimes a lazy person. Ok, most of the time, but who cares.
"They couldn't handle me even if they tried ,i would take all the awards and leave nothing for no one ,cause i am that good." She smirked ,her usuall 'i am better than everybody' smirk and, started pouring milk on our cereals.
"You keep telling yourself that." she rolled her eyes at me and continued eating.
After we had our breakfast ,we got into our car, it is weird to call it our car but we both chipped in to buy this car so its basically both of ours, and she is the one driving today and my turn to choose a music.
I chose the song when we were young by Adel. And Bay started singing ,she actually has a bareble voice ,while mine is a bit scratchy.

We got there after a 20 minute ride , a bit farther than i had expected. This book faire is special because there will also be a book signing some of the writers of books are here and there is also going to be reading of books by the authors themselves.
As we entered you can see eger book lovers excited for the book signs and meeting at least one of their favorite authors. The age range is very divers, there is a mother holding a 3 year old looking baby on her arms and two kids running to her side ,she puts a stern look on her face and talks to the kids a bit and they both kcluch the side of her dress tightly. And there are a lot of couples here too ,some of them attractive and some dull looking and seem like they are here to ruin the fun. The place we are in is a bookstore and had been decorated to look like a dreamy barn ,all the shelfs had been moved to the side and there were tables placed at the far end of the room. The faire wasn't only in this room though it was classified into 3 there was adult , with this room there were obviously adult things like adult fiction, documentery ,politics etc. In the second one there is young adult and in the third one there are kids books and i am in love with the creativity they had put in it.
We were in the adult room now, cause the signing will start in 15 minutes so we have time to explore and buy what we want.
"Omg ,i have been looking for this Sydny Sheldon book ,like since forever." Bay exclaimed holding tge book to her heart.
"Which one is it?" I asked ,peering over at the cover.
"Rage of angles."  She pushed the book in to my face and quickley pulled it back ,i didn't even get to see the title.
"Haven't you read it on kindle or something?" I asked ,cause i remember her reading for me all the romantic scence and stuff.
"Yea, but i want the hard copy." Me and Bay had always had the obsession with hard copies even if we had already read the book ,the hard copy is like an award for us.
"What about this?" I asked taking out, the badboy and the tomboy,by Nicole Nowsu. 
"Yes .Yes.Yes. get it." She took the book from my hand hugged it and gave it back to me.
The fifteen minutes passed ,while we were looking for books we already read on a reading app and buying if we really loved them. We rarely have time to buy books cause we are always busy so when we get this kind of opportunity we take it and so we bought a lot of books, a lot.
After a long day of walking around eating free snacks and squeeling when we find an author we liked we went back home and crashed on our sofa with a thud.
I let out a sigh, "I can't believe we have school tomorrow." I said and laid my head on her shoulder.
"Me too." She let out a small yawn. Before i dozed off ,a thought came into my mind ,and the thought was how our backs is going to be sore as hell tomorrow.

After a great deal of preparation, Danika begins her new digital dragon's life in a very small way.

They say the "Living Jade Empire" creates individualized quests. They say it can read your mind. They say you can find your heart's desire. They say that there's never been a game like it, and they're right but… they're also wrong.

The game is a data mine, built to retell the old tales that humans have been telling each other since language was invented. It doesn't read your mind, but it reads your search history, your favorites, and your blogs. The "Living Jade Empire" is literally crafted from fables, legends, fantasies, and maybe just a bit of stardust.

But in the end, will the game be able to figure out what Danika wants most? Will the desires of other players take priority? Or, will playing it change her, until she desires what it can give her?

A journey is always made up of many small steps, and this game has still only just begun.

First thing I need to learn is how to read as I imagine magic will be this worlds equivalent of science. Therefore I will need to do lots of studying which will require a lot of reading. Thus I should use the books in the study. The simplest one seems to be the one my parents read to me at night. Once I have grasped this book I shall move onto another.
My parents seem blissfully unaware of what I spend my days doing. Now thinking about it what do my parents actually do. Maybe I'm the one who's blissfully unaware. We have a maid so surely we must be fairly well off. My father, Elis, seems to spend most of his days out of the house what could he be doing. He seems to head off with his sword was he perhaps a guard for the town. As for my mother, Anya, spends most of her time at home reading books while Freya, our maid, does all the housework. I'm surprised my mother hasn't noticed my interest in her books.
It's been around three years since my reincarnation now. During this time I have learnt more information about my family and have also advanced myself. For example my reading is going well I have managed to move onto what appears to be a magic textbook. I spend each waking hour deciphering and reading it. The maid seems to have noticed how much time I spend with this book. Yet she hasn't seemed to tell my parents about this. My mother seems to be able to cast basic magic spells from the four elements.  The book has told me that she performed spells belonging to the Conjuring branch of magic. In the book it says magic seems to have two main branches being Conjuring and Manipulation. Conjuring seems to be summoning and creation such the elemental magic my mother showed me. Whereas Manipulation seems to change the written rules of the world like healing magic. Learning one of these does not prevent you from learning the other which is good means I won't be shutting any doors for myself in the future. This is all good and well but the book claims that each person is born with a specific mana capacity meaning I can only perform a set number of spells per day. This isn't good I better start investigating what my limit is or otherwise I may end up hitting a wall causing me to give like I did so often. I think the quickest way to find this limit would be through learning the initial Conjuring spells.
Let's start with a simple conjuring spell like 'Kindle' which has the effect of forming a flame in your hand. So this is the spell my mother performed. The book says to say the following words 'Fire spirits I beseech thee, lend me thy strength, Kindle'. As soon as I said Kindle I could feel a warm feeling go from my chest to my outstretched hand. There it was tiny flame was in the palm of my hand. Putting the book on the floor I tried to touch it with my now free hand and sure enough to was fire. It's not very big though. POOF the flame disappeared what's this I feel really tired all of a sudden did that simple spell exhaust my mana reserves. Oh no this is bad I'm going to fall asleep. I've started and I seem to fallen at the first hurdle. Of course I have a tiny mana reserve. It seems I going to fall asleep now. I guess God must be testing me to see how I will react to this. Well God I will overcome this hurdle just you wait and see. With that final thought I fell asleep.
I have woken up and I am guessing my mana has returned to me. I gonna try a water spell the most basic one is called Droplet. "Water sprites I summon thee, grant me your ability, Droplet". Similar to kindle o could feel something travel from chest to my outstretched hand but this time I felt cooler and more flowing like it was actually water. Like the flame a small ball of water was created in my hand and proceeded to fire at the wall. On the wall it left a small indentation and a small wet patch on the wall. It seems to pack quite a punch given it left an indentation. Also surprisingly I'm not as tired as I was before. The spell supposedly required the same amount of mana as Kindle. Hmmm this is odd. Perhaps I should try again. Again a small ball of water formed in my hand and fired off at the wall once again. Now I'm starting to feel tired I'm probably going to fall asleep again. 
Okay maybe mana seemed to double as I could perform two spells meaning double the mana. So the assumption that everyone is born with an innate magic capacity maybe wrong or perhaps it becomes fixed when you become an adult like how your athletic ability will peak. As well as this it seems my mana increases from performing spells like levelling up in a video game. So I should improve on increasing my mana as much as possible before it becomes set. If the magic book was wrong about this is there anything else it may be wrong about. It says spells can only be performed with the incantation maybe its wrong about that as well. I know I don't have any evidence to back this up but it seems like it would be possible. I did feel a surge of mana go to my hand maybe if I try to recreate this I can perform the spell. Okay on top of my mastery of magic I wish to investigate my two hypothesises and see if they are true or not.
It's now the next day and I am trying to recreate Kindle without saying the incantation. As I expected it isn't going well. So far I look very stupid just stood with there with my eyes closed stood with my hand outstretched. God I hope no one is looking at me. Wait what's this I can feel a warm sensation in the palm of my hand. As I opened my eyes I saw it a flame. I had done it it was possible to use magic without an incantation. Maybe I should try it now with droplet. I again stood there like an idiot waiting. There it was that cool feeling I opened my eyes and I just caught the droplet hitting the wall. I can do it so all I need to do is learn how the incantation mana flow feels then I can recreate it. I have a lot of spells to perform.
Hello my name is Freya. I am the maid of this house. I work for Anya and Elis and they are good employers. They are kind and give me an above average pay. They hired my a month before the birth of their son Elias. During this month I got to know my employers. Elis was a kind man a talented swordsman who was the knight. While he gave off this image I've always felt that there was more to him like this live wasn't enough for him. He's a very flirtatious man so I imagine he has had his way with many women and he was once a well known adventure perhaps he had high hopes before getting Anya pregnant. I find myself getting on with Anya far bette and feel I have a good working relationship with her. She was also an adventurer as well that is how she meet Elis. She worked as a healer and cared greatly for the people in their party. I was hired to help with the birth of they son Elias. Everything seemed Fine with birth initially although it seemed as if he didn't want to leave the womb and he didn't start to cry for quite a while after. However despite these initial worries everything seemed to be fine. He is a very inquisitive child and the moment he could crawl he was moving everywhere. It was unlike anything I had ever seen. He cried far less than any child I had seen before. It wasn't like he didn't cry but he only seemed to cry when he desperately needed something. As well as this when he came to feeding he seemed almost too eager to receive food from Anya. I must say watching it made me very uncomfortable. Upon see that I choose to observe the boy from a distance as he did creep me out slightly. I have noticed now that he seems to have taken a large interest in Anya's books collection. Whenever I see him he is looking at her books and seems to be muttering something under his breath. Whatever he was saying didn't sound like the common language. Perhaps this boy was possessed. I couldn't allow Anya's first son to be possessed so the next day I went to town and purchased what I required and proceed to perform and exorcism on him that night. The next day proved my efforts had been in vain as he was doing it again. Perhaps I was merely seeing something that wasn't there. Anyway since then Elias has continued to act like this but now it seems as if he is trying to learn magic. While cleaning his room I have seen the effects of droplet on his wall. Today though I saw something odd he was stood in his room with his hand outstretched and with his eyes closed. The strangest part was that he performed Kindle but I didn't hear a sound, he must have said it under his breath. Anyway I shall leave him to it.
"Elias, did you fall asleep?" Huh was I being woken up. I felt myself being cradled against my mother's chest. It felt warm and comforting. 
"Elias you really shouldn't be falling asleep in the middle of the day. What's the book you have been looking. What's this have you been looking at my magic textbook." Anya was now looking down at me with a big grin on her face. It was so wide it was almost unnerving. "Did you perhaps try saying one of these spells out loud?". I looked into my mum's chest not wanting to answer shying away from the truth. "You don't have to hide away you can tell me the truth I won't be angry."
"I did I'm sorry" As I said it I looked up and my mother was beaming with joy. Was what happened good. I now looked around the room and it seems like I had destroyed it. There were bits of rock around the room. I had smashed my window. It seems I had gotten to carried away in my effort to learn as many spells as possible. 
"Honey come up here Elias has learned magic all by himself he must be a genius.". With that my father emerged along with our maid, who's normally stoic face dropped at the sight of my room. My mother continued to say "We must get him a magic tutor or something as he did all this on his own. He clearly takes after my magic ability."
"Well that's all good and well but didn't we promise that I was going to train him with the sword if he was a boy and he is."
At this proclamation my mother started to get incredibly angry but lucky Freya having regained her composure interjected that I could do both. With this my parents instantly became lovely lovey once again as they always were when they were together. Thanks Freya.

So it looks like I will be learning the sword from my father and be gaining a magic tutor this should be interesting.

Given an unwanted second chance what will they do? 
Having been given a second chance despite all odds will they accept and flourish or shrink away and give up like they always have.
