It's the story of what appears to be a normal Gotham city inhabitant. Through his eyes, she tells the darkness of the metropolis and the consequences that the actions of crime, which has full power in this city, can bring to people who do not have a cloak, a mask, and a generous budget to fight crime. 
Through her experiences, the mystery behind her existence and her past life will be revealed.
Her fate will cross that of the criminal Joker, in a kind of unhealthy but sincere love and it will finally be possible to know something of the non-existent past of the clown.
The Joker of the story is inspired by the Joker of the movie The Dark Knight because he is the one who struck me the most, mainly because he has no past and because he shows veiled suffering behind all that madness and chaos.

 Qin Guan's protest didn't work. Everyone worked together to get him to leave.
 He suddenly heard someone laughing.
 Qin Guan stared at the man from Warner Bros. "You must be satisfied now. Let's go to America! Go!" As soon as Qin Guan's flight took off, his website was updated with an exciting headline: Qin Guan had left his nest!
 The whole world joined in the jubilation. This was a good beginning. His fans wouldn't be worried about his career anymore.
 Qin Guan, on the other hand, was not in a good mood. He had watched the original cartoon and checked out the material collected by the crew, but the city where he would be staying was not as beautiful as he had imagined.
 Chicago was a city where light and darkness intertwined. When the production added metal monsters and piles of rubbish, Gotham City came to life.
 This was the second film of the Batman franchise, but it was groundbreaking in terms of quality. It was the first time superheroes would be portrayed with a complicated human nature and actual feelings. All the characters seemed to come to life.
 The film was a simple blockbuster with outstanding visual effects and a simple plot. The dark side of human nature showed through its every scene.
 Wherever there were human beings, there was chaos. The troublemaker was the cunning Joker, who had no superpowers, but could scare people with his personality. The character was a big challenge for every actor, which was why so many superstars had been interested in it. 
 However, Qin Guan had been approved by the creator of the cartoon, as well as the director and the production company. When they saw Qin Guan in person on the set, everyone tried to keep a distance from him. There was a distinct deserted area around Qin Guan.
 People were not shocked by his appearance, but by his gloomy mood. Everyone was afraid of being affected by his sorrow.
 Actually, Qin Guan was sad because his wife had forsaken him.
 He was right. Cong Nianwei couldn't stand having someone follow her around all day long, so she had taken advantage of this chance to push him to join the crew.
 This experience was not bad for his interpretation of the character, though. Qin Guan seemed to be possessed by the Joker. The actors and the director were captivated by his acting skills. The creator of the cartoon even burst into tears.
 A person who had never been addicted to a cartoon would never feel the same as they watched a fictional character come to life. The man thought that he could finally die happy.
 Darkness was very closely associated with light. Only when Batman faced his nemesis did he realize that the Joker's ultimate goal was not to ruin a specific superhero, but to destroy the hope of all humanity. That way, even if god himself walked down the altar, his pious believers would still not have the courage to keep living.
 In the end, Batman had to hide behind the curtain. He was no longer the Knight of Light, but the Knight of Darkness. An arrest warrant was issued both for him and the Joker.
 When the director stopped the crew, Batman let out a long sigh of relief. He was happy to part ways with Qin Guan. It was ridiculous to see such a handsome guy dressed up as the Joker. Plus, Qin Guan's gloomy vibe made everybody's mood worse.
 Everyone fixed their eyes on Qin Guan. Now that the film was finished, they could all return to reality.
 Qin Guan remained the same, though. He just kept pacing in circles on the floor.

In the vast expanse of the night, a ship was was being docked illegally. The ship was full of armed men on high alert. After few hours when the men thought that they were safe, there was a sudden blackout.
"Fuck these maggots". A short German man with white hairs and one supposedly fake arm shouted as soon the power was cut off. "Team 5 check the generators." "Yes sir, over".
"Klaue, why so serious?" "Don't you fucking give me JOKER shit. Ever since we have docked I have a very bad feeling."
(Bzzt..Bzzt..)"HE..HELp.."(tut.. tut..)
"Fuckk, Team 5 report, I repeat, report your status.... Fuck Team 2,3 and 4 check their status and Team 1 report on deck!"
After some time 2 men barged into the room with ragged breath and a face full of horror. seeing them Klaue asked "Where are the others and what happened to you both fucktards."
"B...Boss A D..Devil... M..mas..c..care" and then suddenly out of nowhere a slit became visible on his stomach and all his intestines spilled in front. Seeing such scene all of them threw up, then Klaue immediately contacted all his teams but none reponded. A face of despair was quite visible. Then a can came rolling towards them out of nowhere and smoke came out nowhere.
"Fuck it.. damn it everyone ready your arms."
But they couldn't find the guy anywhere. Then suddenly the roof collapsed and a man dropped, before anybody could react he quickly decapitated 2 of the 3 people present there and broke Klaue's arm at the cost of his sword.
"Well that's vibranium for you"
Standing in front of him was a man of around 6 ft with black sneakers, jeans and black hoody with a black mask covering his lower face and golden eyes.
"Wh..who are you, are you one of their hired?"
"Me, no one important and now Ulysses Klaue where's your stack."
"Like hell I'll tell you, you shithead hahhaa.."
The figure immediately broke one of his legs and said "Very poor choice of words"
"Fuck this shitty Joker reference.. you piece of shit". Klaue growled angrily.
"You see I was just asking you for the sake of asking" and with that the person knocked Klaue unconcious.                                                                                                                            ......

"Well that was fun. M.A.R.T.H.A scan the ship".
M.A.R.T.H.A was the name of my personal A.I. that I built over the years, now you guys would ask why Martha cause there are lot DC crossovers. Nah.. it just so happens it was the name of my mother of both lives. Weird coincidence, I know so I just decided to name my A.I. the same.

"Thanks M.A.R.T.H.A" Yeah I programmed it to call me babe, petty I know but who gives a damn. With that I searched for the entrance and once I reached. Boy, I was suprised. " M.A.R.T.H.A how much do we have here?" "There's around 1.3 Ton of vibranium here." "Sweet"
Now the reason I needed vibranium was to make modes of transportation and a part of my suit as well. At first I just bought it from him and damn, it was expensive. So I decided to just rob him and asked M.A.R.T.H.A to keep watch of his activities. "M.A.R.T.H.A dear could you parcel this filth along with 100 kilos of the stash near Wakanda and just give a distress signal there"

With that I picked up Klaue and handcuffed him and left him there and left the scene on my black Ducati M900 and raced to my home after calling the cops. While on my way I realized how strong I have become over the years.
Over the past 10 years, I went through a hellish training to perfect my art of sword use and gun slinging, I even became a MIT graduate in electrical engineering, and boy I didn't forgot to irritate Tony at every chance I got .
Through the years we became quite close over our little competition which he lost every time especially during Jarvis death a few years back. From then on he became a spoiled rich brat which was under control thanks to me but I didn't stop him because that's what makes him Tony Stark. We even attended party's together but each time he would just grit teeth in irritation when girls would flock to me and I of course like a good friend flirt with all of them in front of him. but each time a shiver would run down my spine making me suspicious that I'm going to regret it in future. Blahh.. I'll just leave it for then.
At one point I even thought of saving my future wife but then I considered the pros and cons and decided not to interfere because it was especially these conditions which made her that strong and I wanted her to be strong as I like my woman that way, though I kept track of her till S.H.I.E.L.D got hold of her a few months ago.
As I was thinking of my past I had reached an abandoned building, as soon as I got inside, M.A.R.T.H.A let me pass through and an underground ramp opened  and I descended through it. Once I reached my base I exited my vehicle and waked to a secret elevator. I descended down to mt secret cave which was very similar to that in Dark Knight except I kept my lights on. Seriously, whats with the need for darkness in own personal base.
"Good evening, SIR, I suppose you have completed your task, would you like to have a bath"
"Thank you Alfred, I would love a long hot bath."
After some small talks Alfred left to do his tasks and I commanded "M.A.R.T.H.A I need all blueprints for my Knight mobile, Knight jet, Knight rider and my suit ready by tomorrow" "Sure dear~"
With that I went to take my bath during which I checked my status.

Hachiman POV
In the end, Yui and I decided to go home and try not to dwell on the fact that Yukinoshita left without saying anything. The time is currently 12:55 AM, but no matter how how much fatigue I feel at the moment. I could not sleep for at least another two hours.
Yukino POV
The next morning, I woke up at about 8:00 AM out of habit. Looking around to remember what happened last night, I realized that I fell asleep on the couch in the living room. Stretching my cat arms and yawning, I decided that I might as well try to see what kind of place Hikigaya-kun lives in. I walked out of the living room and near the entrance. To the left of me is the front door and to the right is a single staircase that leads upwards to the second floor.
Before I could continue, I was interrupted by someone's voice. "Hey!"
I did not see any humans around. Instead, next to the staircase, I see a white cat with golden eyes.
"Did you just say something that I can comprehend, or am I imagining things?" I reply.
"That's right. I can speak to you. What are you anyway? What the hell is inside you [6]? You must be a human." I froze. "I can smell you. Whoever is inside that body is not a cat."
I can only imagine how strange this must seem: two cats having a drawn out contest of aggressive meowing. I blinked to make sure that the feline in front of me is not a hallucination. "My name is Yukino Yukinoshita. What is your name, again?"
"Fool! My name is Kamakura, and I am the master of this house. I have an idea. Why don't you join me and become my loyal subservient and knight? I shall grant you the title of Knight of Neko. Together, we will take over the world [7]!"
What? What the hell? Is this person, I mean cat, mentally disturbed? I don't want to take over the world!
"I will have to politely decline your strange offer."
Kamakura hissed a little. "Fool [8]! You could at least try to act like a normal cat who is defensive of their territory and rights!"
"Whatever. I don't like pushy people. Besides, if I was one of the main characters in a story where World War III happened, I would want to be one of the heroes who destroys corruption through peaceful means."
"Fool! Suit yourself."
Kamakura turned around and trudged down the hallway and into the dining room. What a weirdo.
I continued my tour of the house as I climbed up the stairs. To my right is the master bedroom. I turned to the left and walked down the hallway. One door is open a crack, and inside it is a sleeping Komachi. Maybe she is scared of the dark and needs light from the hallway.
The last two doors at the end of the hall must be a bathroom and Hikigaya-kun's bedroom.
I wonder what Hikigaya-kun plans to do this weekend.

I sat on the counter of in the kitchen and waited for someone to serve me breakfast, and much to my pleasure, Hikigaya-kun answered my prayers.
"Mew!"
He rubbed his eyes, stretched, and yawned. "What is it, Kuroko-chi [9]? Are you hungry?"
"Mew! Mew!"
Hikigaya-kun went over to a drawer and pulled out a bowl. He looked at me and said, "I've got something for you. Luckily, I remembered to buy it at the pet store last night while on the way home from Yukinoshita's."
Opening a cabinet, he pulled out a box of cat food. Lucky me! Thank you, Hikigaya-kun!

After breakfast, I followed Hikigaya-kun to his room. He was kind enough to let me lay on his bed. After brushing his teeth, I watched him enter the room and lay himself next to me, his arms behind his head as he gazed at the ceiling. As expected, he is bored.
He sighed and turned onto his side, gently petting me on my furry head.
"Mew!"
"What should we do, Kuro-chan? It's Saturday, and I want something to keep me occupied."
After several minutes of him petting me and my only response being my ability to purr, he sat up.
"Let's go watch TV. Maybe, we will find an interesting movie."
. . . . . . .
I sat next to him on the couch and stared at the TV. What is he going to put on? It better not be some stupid otaku film. The worst case scenario would be if he put on a science channel or a reality TV show. I will only tolerate it if there are cats involved in such a show!
Contrary to my expectations, he put on a western movie called 'Batman Begins'. Knowing Hikigaya-kun, he might not fully understand the story since his English is not the best, but I am sure that he will at least get the gist of what the characters are saying, right?
The story was actually very interesting. We watched in silence as Bruce Wayne trained with Ra'as Al Ghul in the mountains. The story only got more and more intriguing as I watched.
"Where are the other drugs going?!" Bruce Wayne, who made his debut as the Batman, screamed at the man hanging off of the rooftop by a cable.
As the scene ended, Hikigaya-kun paused the movie and turned towards me.
"Mew?"
"This is a very interesting film. I will be right back. I need a snack."
After a 10 minute break, Hikigaya-kun came back, holding a bag of popcorn. Komachi trailed behind him.
"Onii-chan, why didn't you tell me you were watching Batman Begins?! I love that movie!"
Hikigaya-kun raised an eyebrow at his little sister, who sat down on the opposite side of the couch. "Have you seen its sequels? I just read about them online, and they are supposedly very good."
Komachi shook her head. "No, I have not seen them."
Hikigaya-kun took the TV remote and went through the guide. "Both movies are going to run later tonight. If you want, I could record them."
Komachi smiled. "Of course! Let's watch them together!"
Hikigaya-kun nodded. Back to our regularly scheduled program, Hikigaya-kun pressed play as we continued watching the movie. Once in a while, he would eat a piece of his popcorn.
After finishing the movie, I waited anxiously to watch the next one. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I had a family that I could spend time with.

An hour after we ate our dinner, we began watching the sequel: "The Dark Knight". Hikigaya-kun was drinking a bottle of Dk Pepper [10].
As the movie progressed, I understood the basic premise of the film: it's about fighting monsters while trying not to become a monster yourself, kind of like war. In short, this film is about ethics. It's about the struggle between the use of Logos or Pathos, the use of logic or emotions. Where have I heard of this before? Sounds familiar...
"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain." Said Harvey Dent. The movie continued and the scenes changed.
"Don't talk like you're one of them! You're not, even if you'd like to be. To them, you're just a freak, like me. They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out—like a leper. See, their morals, their "code"...it's a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you, when the chips are down, these—ah—"civilized people"? They'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve." Said The Joker.
That sounds exactly like something Hikigaya-kun would say! I shivered a little, feeling creeped out by how similar Bruce Wayne is to Hikigaya-kun. By now, I have inferred that both of them like to keep to themselves, sneak around so that nobody notices them, work alone, are self-sacrificial, and lie. What a coincidence.
Over two hours through the film, we must be getting close to the end. I yawned, feeling a little tired, but I forced myself to stay awake and pay attention to the film.
"Why is he running away, dad?" Commissioner Gordon's son asked as the police began chasing Batman.
"Because we need to chase him."
The boy looked confused. "He didn't do anything wrong."
"Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now, so we'll hunt him. Because he can take it, because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Dark Knight."
The screen cut to black, and a few seconds later, the credits began rolling. I turned my head to the left to Hikigaya-kun. Unbeknownst to Komachi, I noticed a single tear roll down the right side of his face.
"That... That is now my favorite movie of all time," Hikigaya-kun stated.
Komachi nodded. "I agree. That was amazing."
"Mew!"
Hikigaya-kun quickly wiped the tear drop away and turned towards Komachi. "Let's take a 20 minute break before watching the final movie of the night. I'm going to exercise quickly."
Komachi nodded.
Ara. Hikigaya-kun is going to get off his lazy butt to exercise? This is unheard of.
Hachiman POV
As I began jogging around the neighborhood, I couldn't help but think. What have I been doing this entire time? If I am a monster in the eyes of other people, am I no different than The Joker? I am not a murderer, but in a way, I am. Let me explain. When I berated Sagami on the roof, I killed her pride, and Hayama shoved me against the wall, almost like I was under arrest. Is that really the kind of life that I want to live? Before, the old me would have been alright with it, but now that I have two people that I care about and feel like I can rely on, I am not so sure. What have you done to me, youth?!
But in all seriousness, I never again want to see Yukinoshita get mad at me for doing something that betrays her expectations of me, like how I did that night in the bamboo forrest. Same goes for Yui, my first friend.
I went back home and stretched my legs as I put two more bags of popcorn into the microwave, one for Komachi and one for me. Headed back to the living room, I found Kuro-chan nibbling on a snack: tuna.
She looked up at me. "Mew!"
Unable to resist her adorable power, I leaned down and gently pet her. She purred, finished with her snack.

The time is 8:50 PM. We began watching the third and final movie in the trilogy: The Dark Knight Rises. I couldn't help but chuckle.
"What's wrong with you, Onii-chan? You have a creepy smirk on your face," Stated Komachi.
"Nothing. It's just that this first scene is like something out of an anime; the villain hijacks an airplane to kidnap someone."
Komachi simply shrugged. "I guess."
We turned our attention back to the movie. Eight years have gone by since the events of The Dark Knight, huh? And suddenly, Gotham is at peace with crime rates at an all-time low? I guess it shows that The Joker was right in a way. They cast Batman out and did not give him any credit for the fact that he was a stepping stone towards their goal of peace.
Once again, the movie only got more and more interesting as it progressed. Bane slowly took over the city, and even managed to subdue Bruce Wayne, going as far as to threaten to use a nuclear device on the people if anyone attempts to escape.
"You yourself fought the decadence of Gotham for years with all your strength, all your resources, all your moral authority. And the only victory you achieved was a lie. Now you understand Gotham is beyond saving, and must be allowed to die." Said the ghost of Ra'as Al Ghul.
I winced. It's almost as if this movie is calling out all the bullshit I put the Service Club through. As Miranda Tate said, suffering builds character, and that is exactly what happened to us.
The scene changed to Bruce Wayne doing sit-ups in the prison. He took the rope and climbed up the well-shaped prison, trying his best to escape, but he lost his footing and fell back down, the rope stopping his fall.
Disappointed, I sank back into my chair. You can do it, Bruce!
"Bruce... Why do we fall?" Said Bruce's father in his dreams.
He suddenly woke up from the strange dream. Talking to the other prisoners, an older man lectured him and said that he failed because his fear followed him due to the rope.
The music changed as well as the atmosphere to something a little more hopeful as well as suspenseful as Bruce began his second attempt at escaping the prison. Both Komachi and I were sitting at the edge of our seats at this point, hoping he succeeds. My knuckles were turning white from grasping onto the cushion underneath me.
"Deshi deshi basara basara. Deshi deshi basara basara." The other prisoners began chanting.
Bruce turned towards an older prisoner, who accompanied him as a doctor who took care of him. "What does that mean?
"Rise." The man responded.
As he walked up to the wall, a strong-looking prisoner offered him the rope, but he declined as he surveyed the wall, looking for the proper way to go up without the use of a rope. As he climbed, the chants from the prisoners grew louder and faster. He eventually stood on the lower of the two ledges at the midpoint. With his back against the wall, he slowly inched closer to the edge when a swarm of bats suddenly began flying near his head and upwards. Realizing how close he is to freedom, Bruce backed up as far as he could, ran forward, and jumped.
The music stopped, as well as my breath. The prisoners stopped chanting to see if he made it and he did. Bruce caught onto the higher ledge.
"YEAH!" Both Komachi and I simultaneously screamed along with the prisoners who cheered Bruce on. He climbed upwards using another rope, and escaped to freedom, heading back to fight for his enslaved city.
The good guys slowly began their counterattack, freeing their allies from Bane's clutches and organizing a force of policemen who are ready to fight. Batman and Catwoman stole back the nuclear bomb, and attaching the bomb to a cable wire, he flew it away from the city where it blew up at a safe distance.
My jaw dropped. No! He can't be dead!
The scene changed to that of a funeral, where Gotham Police Department Commissioner Gordon began giving a speech. "I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss. I see the lives for which I lay down my life, peaceful, useful, prosperous and happy. I see that I hold a sanctuary in their hearts, and in the hearts of their descendants, generations hence. It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known."
Komachi and I began sobbing as Alfred stood in front of Bruce Wayne's grave. "I'm so sorry! I failed you. You trusted me, and I failed you."
As the movie began to end, they began dropping hints that Bruce Wayne did not die. The final scene cut off with Robin taking up the burden of being Batman.
"Wow." I said.
After sitting there for a few minutes, Komachi began speaking. "Onii-chan, between Yukino-chan and Yui-chan, which of them will you choose?"
"What?"
"Look, I know you can be oblivious, but you have to face this problem eventually."
I know exactly what she's talking about. The fact that Yui, and maybe even Yukinoshita, have feelings for me, is something that I did not even think about for a while.
"I... I don't know, Komachi. How could I possibly choose one of them? I don't want to hurt anyone."
Komachi sighed. "You no longer use the same methods that Bruce Wayne did, right? In the end, someone will have their heart broken now that you can focus on living a normal life."
Yukino POV
What are you saying, Komachi-san?! It's not like that, is it? What is this strange feeling that I have in my chest? It can't be...
I got up and trotted my way out of the living room.
"So, you're in love with Hachiman, eh?" Kamakura said.
"What?! No!"
"Sure... Keep telling yourself that. I don't know how love works for humans, but you should at least accept that you have fallen in love. Who knows. You might even transform back into your human form if you do," Kamakura teased.
"S-shut up! Idiot!"

"Your Majesty!" His voice rang out inside the entire hall—purple eyes landing on her shaking form. There she was, the young Knight stumbled towards her and cut through the dark red flames emanating across the castle's walls.
To young Queen reaching her hand out to him, slender fingers stretching out and with a desperate look in her eyes—
He made his way forward and held out his hand only to have something flare out.
The inferno blazed even hotter as it swept and danced across between them, as if performing a wall to protect itself. Julius Ginellevé gritted his teeth, the shouts of the soldiers all around the place and even them working to put out the fire but it was useless.
Julius couldn't save her—something flickered in his vision. Something in the darkness and the shadows that he hadn't even noticed that it was there, but it held out the fire with its own strength. Darkness and shadows, with enough space for him to move there and get to the Queen to save her?

The accident in the castle that had sprung up a couple years ago was far more dangerous than what was happening right now, but the way his heart jumped out of his chest was very much the same. 
She had left him at the dinner table.
It tightened his heart painfully and twisted it in ways that even he couldn't explain.
He had forced himself to stay there for only so long, and even then it was a hard thing to ask for. The looks thrown his way by the Joker only made his blood rise, that man's loyalty could not be exactly discovered and be placed for one person. And yet it was enough for him to read from that twinkle in his eye that the man had wanted the King and Queen to leave?
Was this his method of matchmaking?
An obnoxious way, and if it wasn't his way of pairing up the King and Queen… was it only to see him struggle futilelessy at the side? Whether it had been the glares that he threw the man's way, the Joker ended up draining all of his wine as he finally said. "I think we can end the dinner already, I'm already stuffed."
There was barely enough before the Knight stood up and left the dining hall—courtesy and everything else be damned. The Prime Minister would not turn a blind eye to it, the Joker had no power over him and the servant could only watch. He made his way out and then glanced left and right.
Perhaps the looks of the Joker had been nothing but some way to taunt him?
That was the most likely thing to occur and there might be nothing for him to even worry about at all. The Queen of Hearts would not search for the King of Hearts, the Joker did not know Rosalyn as much as he did. She hated him too much. Abhorred him even.
She'd tolerate his presence yes, and even defend him if it was necessary.
But she only did it out of obligation. Out of everything that had been ingrained to her even before she had met the King of present times, even before the time when there had been no King, this was what she had been instilled to her. It was hard to fight back on something that one had been told for one's entire life.
Even if it had been a lie.
It was much harder if it was a lie. Julius Ginellevé shook his head and glanced across the hallway and found nobody's presence, he held out a hand to the wall and watched it give way for him. An entrance to travel faster than usual—he took it.
There was only one place where the Queen would go.
Perhaps two, or even three but no more and no less. She would have gone to the kitchen for desserts if Mary Ann had been there, but that was out of the possible locations. She could also head to her office and burn a midnight candle to do work in advance or other duties that she took over—never exactly trusting the King to do it properly despite the years.
Or it could be the Queen's chambers.
Yes, that was the likeliest place to go, the Queen had left—Rosalyn had left to rest. There was nothing else she would do and it was there that he arrived in less than a minute. He exited through the wall just beside the former King and Queen's portrait, an old piece that he brushed over as he made his way to the door.
He knocked once.
"Your Majesty?"
There was no answer.
He blinked. Perhaps she did not wish to see him? No, that wasn't the case was it… she was perhaps already asleep and he had only been frantically worried. Scared to death of what might be. Frightened of what the Joker had implied with his looks. His hand hover slightly over the doorknob to her room.
She had never invited him again.
Was she tired of him?
Did he do something wrong… no. She had already explained it with her dream, took away the chance for him to punish himself and see if there was anything for him to blame. He closed his eyes for a moment. If she was asleep then he would leave, it wouldn't be even known to her that he had checked upon her.
And if it was something else…
His breath hitched slightly, a tremor in his hand as his fingers touched the cold but smooth surface of the handle. If it was something else then he would handle it then, there was no other way around it. Julius Ginellevé opened the door and stepped inside, "Your Majesty?"
He let out a breath.
There was nobody to be seen.
Her bed lay empty and unused, blankets and comforter still folded neatly. 
The musical box unopened in her drawer, the door to her personal bathroom closed and not left slightly ajar whenever she went inside. Nor could he hear her hums or anything like that. The drapes on the windows were still untouched, not yet closed as moonlight spilled into the room.
She most often kept it closed during the night.
It had to be closed whenever the sun no longer shone for her safety. Perhaps she had forgotten to do it, or the maid who arrived to clean up her room when she wasn't around forgot to draw back the drapes. It was a silly mistake. Negligible. Something trifle.
He could turn a blind eye to it.
Maybe the Queen of Hearts had decided that she was thirsty and went to get some water in the kitchen by herself? Even when she was a child in the Lockhart House, she had always been self-sufficient. She didn't exactly like the maids of the household, didn't like how they treated her when compared to her brother. Often thought they didn't do the right job or were too sloppy but she had liked him.
She enjoyed having him around.
She had taken him out of his misery.
And he had relished it so, he was supposed to be nothing. To be no one remarkable. He was to be simply a sword to be thrown away once his usefulness had all but flickered out. And so nothing was small for him, there was nothing trivial or something to be overlooked because it was already good enough.
Everything had to devoid of flaws, perfect, immaculate—
She was outside and basked underneath the moonlight. Her blonde hair cascading down her back like waterfalls over the purest stones, with red eyes that rivaled and even triumphed over the pale moon and stars dotting the dark canopy overhead of her. 
The Queen of Hearts was lovely as she could be—no, beautiful was the proper term. Grand. Majestic. His own perception of her was a reverie and it was a wondrous one. It was something that he could live out his entire life over for, simply gazing on her. 
And yet the vision crumbled.
It was in the very moment that she reached out, looking at him with a small frown on her face. His perception cracked the moment she accepted the hand that the King of Hearts offered to her. The illusion faded away, the mirage shattering at watching him and her hand in hand as the two of them walked side by side—exchanging words together until they reached and arrived back into the castle.
Perhaps if anyone else had seen them at this hour then it would have been a sight to see the King and the Queen together. Did they chance upon seeing a glimpse into the private and romantic life of the two? Have they seen the two stroll through the rose gardens together?
What a lovely sight to be beheld with.
Watching them arrive and head to their castle—in what might have been a fairytale-esque scene. Happily ever after. 
… this was all a figment of his mind wasn't it?

Jason walks into an ally and melts into the shadows and waits for nightfall. At midnight he leaves towards the Jokers gang. The night is a cold night as it's fall. Gotham is like always, but batman has a bad feeling. He alongside the Flash, Cyborg, Superman, and Wonder Woman are all on the lookout for Jason.
As for Jason himself, he has arrived at the secret base of the Joker and summons his full gear, and his Shadows fully emerge and charge into the building and the goons of the Joker are freaked out and start to shoot at the Soldiers. The bullets don't do a thing and they are soon cut up like tofu.
"AHHH, SHOOT, DONT STOP SHOOTING."
"Remember if you find Harley Quin capture her. I quite like the girl."
With a rage-like drive, his knights rush into battle with no hesitation and start to rip the goons apart. Some turn into shadows and rise up the building slaughtering on their way.
At the top, a certain fucked up clown is watching all this and is laughing like a manic.
"HAAH, HAHHH, I CANT STOP LAUPHING, HAHAHAHHAHA."
"What's so funny about his puddin?"
As if all that was an illusion he stops at looks at Harley.
"Don't you see, this guy is not like Bats, he is out to kill me and that's the kicker, HAHAHHHAHA."
(Justice League POV)
Superman hears the screams and the cackles of Joker. He even hears the order that Jason gives.
"I found him, he is going after Joker. It's on the former Arkham City. I'll head over there now."
He immensely flies off and the rest of the team follows. Wonder Woman flies after him, batman takes the Batwing, Flash runs there.
When they arrive they see Superman destroying the Shadows yet they come right back. Freezing them, lazers, crushing them they come right back.
"What are these things?" Flash tries to tie them up yet they nearly turn to shadows and reform.
Batman instantly thinks of something.
"Flash, you go in. You can run around them and go after Jason. He must be the source. Rember his regeneration is near limitless from what I can see. What would kill even you, might as well be a bug bite for him."
Flash nods and is about to run yet out of nowhere a giant halberd cuts off both his legs at the knees.
"AHHHHHHHHH, MY LEGS!"
They instantly help him, but the halberd came out of batman's shadow, and out of it rises Siegfried. His weapon burns and corrupts so Flashes regeneration will be way slower and might not heal.
Batman can't help, but curse at this.
'Did he know I was batman from the start? How long has his shadow been here?'
Siegfried twirls his giant halberd and looks at Diana and points his weapon at her. It's a challenge. and as Amazoness she cannot say no.
"I accept your challenge, Shadow Knight." She charges at Seigfriend and in terms of pure power she is far stronger, yet Siegfried's halberd is a deadly weapon in his masterful arms. The burning and dark properties of it make it dangerous.
She uses her sword to clash with him several times until she managed to cut off his arms and disarm him. She uses her golden Lasso and grabs him around the helmet. He is subdued, but never dead.
"SPEAK, KNIGHT, WHAT IS YOUR MASTER'S GOAL."
Asking a shadow to betray their master is like asking a newborn to read Moby Dick. It ain't going to happen.
Siegfried looks up and acts like he is about to speak. Yet, he cant speak. He head butts Wonder Woman and with his newly regrown arms grabs his Naginata and slams the blade into the ground. The same move of the dancer gives a giant circle of Dark that blast everyone in the area.
'Siegfried, return to me it's no use to fight them.'
The voice of the sovereign calls to him. A shadow he may be, yet a knight he is he bows and turns to shadows and returns to Jason's side.
Wonder Woman is livid, yet they care more about Barry's wounds. They are burning and smoldering and rotting at the same time. His metabolism heals the damage yet he just feels more pain.
Superman is enraged and he just uses his X-ray vision and he sees where a Knight In armor similar yet of higher quality is. That must be Jason. Around him is the Knight and few others that look weaker than the one Diana fought. He breaks through the building and heads right or Jason.
His back is struck with a Soul Spear from the Crystal Sage. It's not a strong injury, yet a wound on the soul is bad for anyone. He is temporarily stunned and that is all the time Jason needs. He runs on the wall and lands a massive kick on his face.
He doesn't think he can hurt him yet, but sending back is possible.

'Cathedral Knights, Crystal Sage, keep him busy. Black Knights charge through.'
His elites Black Knights and him all charge and his Lothric Knights have killed all the goons and he is told Joker and Harley are caught. He has his Knights collect cash and bring them down,
While Superman would normally have no issue fighting the Cathedral Knights the Crystal Sages sorceries have him dazed and receiving damage on the soul. He sends a huge laser attack and destroys them all.
While this is happening his Lothric Knights drag Joker by the arms and carry Harley like a sack of potatoes. She is kicking and screaming, yet Joker's face looks like a train ran into him.
He still cackles, with most of his teeth broken. Jason stops his shadows from fighting longer and they all return to his side. Most of them enter his shadow except for his Black Knights, and the team of Blue Lothric Knights dragging Joker.
Jason exists on the lower floor and has one of his Knights leave at high speed. He can escape at any time. When he exists he sees the team and after him and their look is of hate for what he did to Flash.
His Blue Knights drag Joker to the front and make him kneel. One of them draws his blade and raises his blade. The team sees this yet, Jason raises his hand, and the knight holds.
He removes his helmet and shows off his face as batman already knows who he is. He hands his helmet to his knight and starts to clap.
"Well, done in figuring out who I was in just a few hours Batman, or should I say, Bruce Wayne."
This makes Batman flinch and if he could figure out who he was from a grin and a Jason from a handshake.
"Jason, if that is your real name. Let the Joker go, and turn yourself in.
