Chen Beixuan defeated Takemiya Hiro, the number one warrior in Japan, and he was also regarded as the most powerful man in China, which makes Korea the only variable in the equation. But since we all know that the Korean Martial arts community was always inferior to Japan's, so there you have it: Chen Beixuan is the strongest in East Asia."
The Japanese Grandmasters felt their fear toward Chen Fan multiplied each time they turned over the question regarding Chen Fan's true power. 
Chen Fan had only risen to power in the last two years, yet he had already claimed the seat of power in East Asia. He did it with ruthless brute force and his throne might as well be a heap of flesh and bones of his victims. 
Many grandmasters in China had been convinced that Chen Fan was the most ruthless man they had ever met, however, Chen Fan never ceased to surprise them and proved that his thirst for blood knows no bounds while he was in Japan. He had killed over seven Grandmasters in Japan in less than ten days and butchered Kurokawa Sho before everyone's eyes simply because the poor Japanese man had spoken up against him. 
His ruthlessness and decisiveness were terrifying, and mesmerizing at the same time. 
Many underground groups had included Chen Fan in their don't-touch list. He was a mass murder who knew no limits and worse, he was unpredictable. No one, not even Takemiya Hiro could force him to show his trump card. That was later proven by the dead body of Takemiya Hiro discovered among the rubble.
Takemiya Hiro's hair fell loose over his face. His shirt was in tatters, and a large hole went straight through his chest as if he was shot by a cannon at close range. His body offered many clues about how difficult it had been for Takemiya Hiro during the battle. The condition of his mangled body was a stark contrast with Chen Fan's almost leisure demeanor and his spotless shirt while he emerged out of the battlefield. It was evident that he had killed Kurokawa Sho with ease. 
Japanese martial artists were a vengeful lot, and if Chen Fan had won the battle with a costly victory, they might as well join forces and do away with Chen Fan while he was weak. However, the fact that Chen Fan had won the battle so easily deterred Erika and others and made them think better of seeking revenge right away.
Meanwhile, the man who had been at the center of everyone's attention was sitting in a high-end Coffee Shop at Tokyo's Ginza district.
Ginza district was one of the most famous nexus for shopping in the world. It was located at the center of downtown Tokyo and was well known for the numerous luxury outlets. Its street was flanked by all kinds of shopping malls with squeaky clean windows and artsy decorations. It was also a hub for food all around the world. A visitor might find an Italian restaurant right next to an Arabic one that was across the street from a French Cafe. 
Red Sparrow sat across the table from Chen Fan and was scrolling through some documents on her computer. She asked: "Chen Beixuan, do you know what they call you now? The most powerful man in East Asia."
Red Sparrow fixed her gaze on Chen Fan, her eyes were filled with admiration and disbelief.
She knew the beleaguered path of Martial arts at first hand. Ye Nantian, Azure dragon, and Takemiya Hiro, each one of them were powerful warriors in their own right, but none of them were able to reach Immortal State. 
What had made Chen Fan so special? 
The first person to claim supremacy in East Asia was not Ye Nantian, neither was it Azure dragon or Takemiya Hiro, much less Erika or Lei Qianjue. It was Chen Beixuan, a teenager not even twenty years old. 
She wagered that she had to look hard and deep to find anyone in the entire planet who could deal with Chen Fan. 
Red Sparrow had wracked her brain to find a reason for the young man's extraordinary power but failed. She wondered if Chen Fan was the legendary one in a hundred-year genius who was born with the ability to master any martial arts that he came across.
"Oh? really?" Chen Fan replied quietly. He didn't seem to mind whatever people were calling him.
These titles, let it be number one in China or Number one in East Asia, meant little to nothing to Chen Fan. He used to be the North Mystic Celestial Lord who presided over the top of the universe. He had crushed countless celestial beings and brought a slew of immortals to their knees. 
What did the title of "Number One in East Asia" mean to someone as mighty as him?
"Chen Beixuan, have you really reached Immortal State? I'm just curious. And what about Takemiya Hiro? Did he make it to the Immortal State during the battle?" Red Sparrow couldn't hold back her curiosity, so she asked Chen Fan.
Violet had been cutting up the steak for Chen Fan, but she also paused and looked at Chen Fan curiously. 
This was the most contentious question in the world. People had waged a war of words over each other for this one.
Although no one had seen the battle up close, the ruined Tokyo Tower was a telltale sign of what had happened. Plus, they had seen the Blade Qi that surged a few hundred meters above the tower, the otherworldly phenomenon of Sun and Moon hanging in the grey sky, and the utterly catastrophic damage the two warriors had done to the steel giant, the Tokyo Tower. 
All signs pointed to one conclusion: the destructive energy unleashed by the two combatants were way beyond that of Transcendent State. 
However, some people were still not convinced. After all, the last Immortal State warrior had only disappeared a few decades ago and many nations and organizations kept detailed descriptions of an Immortal State cultivator's power. Chen Fan's ability to levitate himself could count as one, but that was far from enough to be convincing.
"An Immortal State cultivator could control the power of heaven and earth, merge the Dharma Spell and Martial Arts cultivation. He was able to read minds, levitate, controlling natural elements, and many other clairvoyant abilities. In other words, they were no longer mortals, but demi-gods. That was why it was called Immortal State." Red Sparrow murmured to herself. 
"You have shown some of those abilities but not all of them. However, if you have not yet reached Immortal State, how could you kill Takemiya Hiro and destroy Tokyo Tower?"
Red Sparrow continued. It appeared that the enigma was starting to get on her nerves. 
Ever since her power has awakened, she always bragged about herself being the youngest member of the department and a genius. However, She felt so insignificant after she met Chen Fan. He had made her abilities look like a joke.
Me? Of course, I am not at Immortal State." Chen Fan shrugged. "But Takemiya Hiro was, for a while at least. He had reached Immortal State during the battle, but his injury had prevented him from taking full control of his new power."
Despite the airy way Chen Fan had offered the answer, Red Sparrow and Violet couldn't help but feel terrified. 
If Takemiya Hiro had reached Immortal State—however unstable his power was—how powerful exactly was Chen Fan to be able to bring him down? What would happen if Chen Fan had to face a seasoned Immortal State cultivator?
Even as they pondered on the questions, a group of men in black suits filed into the coffee shop, scaring other guests away. They came closer to Chen Fan in two neat rows. 
A well dressed, stately looking middle-aged man walked over to Chen Fan with a mechanical smile. 
"Nice to see you again, Mr. Chen Beixuan. "
"You are Mitsui Yuto?" Chen Fan nodded as he recognized the leader of the Mitsui Group. "Are you here to fulfill the payment? "
"Yes, of course. Japanese people are honorable people. We have already wired ten billion US dollars to this account." So saying, Mitsui Yuto handed over Chen Fan a debit card. The middle-aged man then paused a second and said: "Mr. Chen, I also have a message for you from a… certain individual."
"Japan does not welcome you, please leave, or else…"
Chen Fan narrowed his glinting eyes and hissed: "Or else what?"

"Attitude young missy" Orion says while putting his hands on his hips. He looks exactly like a child throwing a tantrum.

"Hahaha" I start laughing. Orion joins in a few seconds later.

Both of us are just laughing for a minute until Astrid tells me to hurry up and go home in case there is people waiting to ambush us.

"Okay let's go" I say while trying to dust off the grass and dirt on the back of my black hoodie.

"Okay let's go" Orion repeats while getting up himself and starts walking in front of me. I walk faster to catch up with his long strides. I walk with lighter footsteps that's for sure.

A small but loving smile bloom on my face. Oh, how I just love my brother and his attitude.

After about 2 hours we finally arrive at a 12-foot gate. On the gate is a purple, red and black phoenix entangled with a red, black and silver dragon. It looks like the yin and yang symbol. The phoenix is the yin and the dragon is the yang.

Above the heads is a sign saying, MURA CASTLE. This was originally my mother's castle she built around about 200 years ago. My mother has always love decorating seriously she decorated and helped construct nearly all our uncles and aunts' houses.

Our mother inherited this plot of land from her grandmother Krysta Stone when she was murdered by an enemy nearly 225 years ago. It took nearly 5 years just to find Grandmother Krysta's will seeing as she hid it in the Stone castle. The Stone castle is nearly 3500 years old. There are a lot of hidden rooms in the Stone castle. The reason it is called Stone castle is because their surname and it is built using stone.

Stone is my Grandfather Leon's last name. The reason of different last names is because my mother and her older twin sister took Grandmother Edith's maiden name which is Yukimura.

I walk up to a little black box and press the silver button.

"Open the gate" I say through the intercom. There is no response.

"What's the password" A cute girl voice speaks from the intercom you could clearly tell it's a child.

"Wakai mausu Anastasia "I say the first two words are little mouse in Japanese.

"No" The girl voice called Anastasia says.

"Did I get it wrong because I put your name in it" I ask Anastasia.

"Yup"

"Okay. Wakai mausu"

"Correct" Anastasia says.

The gates start opening with a small creak but other than that everything else goes smoothly.

I look to my left where a few hours away is another castle built for my younger brothers which no human has stepped in for years the only things that go in there are my ototo's pixies and animals. [Ototo means younger brother in Japanese].

The pixies are small tiny creatures that kind of look like human but with long pointy ears they come in all colours and shapes from all over the world. They are there to clean and keep the place tidy while looking after my ototo's animals.

The pixies are there by their choice after my ototo's died i thought that they'd go back to Renata their home dimension. There are quite a few animals that my ototo's were raising all of which are still alive and thriving.

When a royal family member is born, they are given 2 pixies 1 royal guard and a few animals. The pixies will serve as a nanny and a guardian. You could get any combination girl/boy, girl/girl or boy/boy either way they will live for how long you live but if you die, they will die slowly for 10 years at the most.

My ototo's pixies have survived for more than a decade already they could actually live up to their full life span of 1000.

Orion and i both have pixies, animals and royal guards. Orion's pixies and guards are both male whereas his animals are mixed.

He has a white male tiger called Hayan [meaning white in Korean] and a beautiful female Axolotl or better known as the Mexican salamander called Yeoja [meaning female in Korean]. His royal guard is a 19 years old Japanese guy called Saisho [meaning first in Japanese]. Orion's pixies are from Korean origin so are named Meonjeo and Duljjae [meaning first and second in Korean].

You'll meet my pixies, royal guard and animals soon.

Orion and I walk through the gate we are a few metres away when the gate starts closing and after a few seconds is finally closed. We keep walking for 20 minutes until we come across a huge camouflage barn.

We walk up to the barn it has a huge lock on the sliding door except there is no keyhole instead there is a small circle carved out of the lock. I take the necklace around my neck out it is the exact same size of the circle on the lock. I place my necklace in the circle, it takes a few seconds until the lock glows with a dark purple light.

The lock starts to fall to the ground before it touches the ground, I catch it and put it into my pocket. I take my necklace out of the lock.

My necklace has different colour spirit crystals in it, the circle is white it represents Yuki meaning snow in my surname and there is a couple of small houses inside the snowball with the walls being red spirit crystals and the triangle roof being of purple spirit crystals. The houses represent Mura meaning town/village.

Spirit crystals are only found in Renata it can give make your magic ability stronger. From the weakest to the strongest is Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, White, Black, Red and then Purple being the rarest. Spirit crystals come in all shapes and sizes. Spirit crystals grow on flowers but the flowers itself are rare and are found in odd places.

I grab the sliding door and slide it open it shows a lot of different coloured tarps covering something lumpy. I walk over to the first tarp and rip it off underneath is a dirt bike but not just any dirt bikes a purple and black KTM 450 SX-F with the number 13 on the side.

It has a much smaller frame and the centre of gravity is lower. With a bit of tinkering here and there it can get up to 150mph and it can turn on with both a key and jump start.

Orion goes to the motorbike right beside mine he pulls the tarp off it he has the same dirt bike but just a bit bigger and instead of having purple he has red and black with the number 12 on the side. His bike can also get up to 150mph.

I look at the ground beneath my feet. I am standing on old hay I take a step back and kneel to move the hay away underneath is a hole big enough to fit a finger in it.

I put my finger into the hole and pull it up underneath is a bunch of keys I take two pairs of keys out with the words KTM on it the first three letters of the dirt bike KTM 450 SX-F. The key was modified to say the letters KTM not to get confused with the other keys.

I throw one key to Orion while i jump on my dirt bike i put the key into the keyhole and grab onto the clutch, I twist the key around until it roars to life. I let it run for a minute or two before revving on the engine and slowly releasing the clutch my motorbike starts to move.

I slowly make my way out of the door and turn around to see Orion covering up the place where the keys are hidden and then kicking some old hay onto it. He starts his motorbike and comes out the barn slowly. He gets off his bike and closes the sliding door, he also puts the lock on. Soon we are ready to go.

"Race ya there" Orion says with a playful voice. He revs on the throttle making the engine roar louder his dirt bike starts moving going faster and faster until he is a hundred metres in front.

"You're on" I say but he's too far from me to hear. i rev on the throttle and start moving. In no time i am already a few metres behind I look around the forest there are a lot of trees not to mention they are tall.

There are a lot of different types of routes you could go for the straight flat ground like Orion or you could go for the bumpy trails like me.

How I just love motorbikes and what their capable of.

Mistakes will be made both as an author and in the book. Along with; revenge, schemes, friendship, betrayal and love. 

Eh? Love? Nah-ah.

"I must admit, I am impressed." Lefi offered a compliment as she scanned the city. Her eyes darted all over, taking in all it had to offer. "I had always assumed human settlements to be boring. Evidently, that is not the case."
"Wait, this is your first time visiting a human city?"

The hell? Hasn't she been alive for over a thousand years?

Though we'd already finished watching the street performers do their thing, the dragon girl was still mounted atop my shoulders. She liked the view. It apparently felt to her like she was gazing down on everyone else around her from a position of power. That's the Supreme Dragon for you, I guess. Too bad the townsfolk don't feel the same.

The people we passed clearly viewed her as something far less sinister and intimidating. In fact, she was flashed many a warm gaze as we moved down the street. It felt to me like they were looking at her as they would any other happy child. The discrepancy between the two contrasting opinions was so drastic that I almost wanted to go around asking people what they thought of her, just for shits and giggles.

"I had never once visited a human settlement without razing it and reducing it to cinders in the process. This is my first time walking amongst a crowd filled with the species's members. I had little interest in their affairs."
"Makes sense."

Right. She did mention something about agreeing to some sort of non-interference pact. She's probably never entered any human settlements since, let alone visited one just to sightsee. Wait, isn't she technically violating the pact right now? Errr… guess not, actually. They invaded our territory first. The pact basically doesn't mean shit anymore.

"Ah, yes, Yuki. I forgot that there was a concern I would like addressed," said Lefi.
"What?"
"I understand that my thighs excite you, but please do exercise restraint. Your thoughts are written all over your face."
"I-I don't know what you're talking about!"

I immediately began shouting in denial, but to no avail. Neither of my companions were even the slightest bit convinced.

"Wow, you're such a pervert." The hero turned towards me and flashed me a look of disbelief.

Oh gawd. Stahp it! Don't look at me like that! Man, sure, I admit I thought they were nice and soft, but that's it! It's not like I was popping a stiffie!

"Ahem." I faked a cough and cleared my throat before asking the hero a question. "So I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now, but just what do adventurers do anyway?"
"You're not tricking me that easily, Yuki. I know you're just trying to change the topic." Looking over at her, I was once again met by a pair of disapproving eyes.

The hero and I were only calling each other by our names purely out of necessity. I would've very much preferred to use titles, but she wanted to keep her identity a secret, and she couldn't exactly go around referring to me as a demon lord in the middle of town. She'd thought about giving me a nickname, but ultimately decided that my name was the best choice. Apparently, she felt like I gave off a "guy next door" kinda vibe.

Makes sense. I was human until I reincarnated, and I was pretty much an average dude, so I can see where that's coming from. I do kind of want to give off a more demon lord kind of feel though. I guess I'll have to put in a bit of extra effort into seeming more dignified and shit.

Likewise, the hero had also tried giving Lefi a nickname. Or rather, a new nickname. Lefi didn't take kindly to it, however, and silenced her with a "smile." The dragon adamantly refused to go by anything but Lefi or Leficios, and as the former was shorter and more casual, the hero opted for it.

I'd also tried giving the dragon a new nickname just to mess with her. She ended up getting so mad she slugged me in the face. Oh man, that hurt like hell. Stupid dragon hits like a truck.

"But sure, I guess we can disregard your 'preferences' for the time being." The look on the hero's face almost seemed a bit smug, as if she was basking in her victory. "Adventurers are responsible for killing monsters, guarding things, and collecting rare medicinal herbs. I know Lefi mentioned it a bit earlier, but they don't actually go around killing members of the other races."

Oh, so they're kinda like the hunters from Monster H*nter.

"Are you certain? I have been attacked by many an adventurer in my time," said Lefi.
"They probably mistook you for some sort of monster." I shrugged. I mean you kinda are the "Supreme Dragon." Like, girl, you probably show up in people's nightmares. Shit.
"How rude.." The dragon frowned. "Their discourtesy deserves retribution. I shall exterminate them and leave not even a single one behind."
"Please don't!" said Nell.

We arrived in front of a building that could only be described as a hall after pushing our way through the city's bustling streets. There was a constant stream of people going both in and out. A single glance was enough to see that business was thriving.

"We're finally here." I grinned as I gave the building a once over. I couldn't help but impatiently start stepping forward. "Alright, enough staring. Let's go. Right now."
"You don't have a single timid bone in your body, do you?"
"He does not." Lefi, who'd only just gotten off my shoulders, answered with a nod. "His idiocy has rendered him unable to feel the sentiment."
"Yeah, 'cause I'm the idiot for getting all emotional. Sure." I rolled my eyes. "Unlike you morons, I'm not about to let some silly 'sentiment' hold me back."

I waltzed straight through the open front door as I spoke, my heart pounding with excitement. As I did, I felt a sudden wave of force worm its way into my ears; the first sense the guild appealed to was my sense of sound.

It was loud. The place was busy and the noise level was through the roof. Conversations could be heard amidst the clinking of tableware, but there were so many of them going on at once that they were indiscernible. I could not, for the life of me, tell who was saying what. Yet, despite the overwhelming noise, I didn't find myself annoyed. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Man, this place has got a helluva good feel going for it.

Lefi looked like a young girl, and while Nell did look a bit older, she wasn't by any means a full fledged adult. Naturally, the two of them drew countless stares as they entered the facility, but none lasted for more than a moment. The adventurers soon returned to eating, chatting, and getting plastered in broad daylight. The reason the guild was so crowded became immediately clear as I realized that it was adjoined with a restaurant. It was lunchtime. Many of the individuals present were just here to eat.

I moved through the guild's hall and made my way over to the counter. There, I was greeted by a receptionist that looked to be a woman in her twenties.

"Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild. How can I help you?" She spoke in a surprisingly polite tone.
"My companions would like to register with the guild," replied the hero.
"Both of them?" The receptionist's gaze fell on Lefi. "I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but do you mean to say that the lady would like to register as well? She seems a little young."

Yeah, I getchu lady. Lefi doesn't look anything like an adventurer, even discounting her age. Her hair and skin are in good shape, and she doesn't have any scars. You wouldn't think she's a fighter at a glance. As far as the receptionist is concerned, she probably looks more like the daughter of some rich aristocrat.

"And that is a problem?" Lefi narrowed her gaze.
"Not at all," replied the receptionist.
"I can vouch for their characters and backgrounds." The hero cut into the conversation before it devolved and showed the guild's clerk the same seal she'd shown the guard just a bit earlier.
"Great, that makes things much easier." The receptionist nodded. Though she did react with a bit of surprise, she quickly recovered and got back to work. "Could you please each place a hand on one of the magical devices sitting on the edge of the counter?"

The clerk directed us towards a series of crude looking machines. Though they were made of metal, they were primitive and unrefined. Lefi and I each stood in front of one and followed the receptionist's instructions by placing our hands atop a flat plate situated on the device. I felt it suck out a slight bit of my magical energy while making a strange, mechanical whirring. The sound vaguely reminded me of a printing press.

Before long, the machine ejected a copper-brown card the same size as the wooden board we'd gotten from the guard upon entering the town. There was a strange symbol comprised of three vertical lines carved into it. The symbol reminded me a lot of 川, the Japanese Kanji for river.

"And that's that. Your registration is now complete. Congratulations, you're now members of the Adventurers' Guild," said the clerk, with a smile. "The card you just received doubles as your ID, so try not to lose it."
"Huh. That was easy."
"The process used to be much more complicated, but it disqualified far too many people. The adventuring business wasn't looking so good back then, so we had to change it. Nowadays, all we do is scan your magical energy and register you based off that."
"Oh. Makes sense." I guess it's kind of like what you do when you hire workers from a temp agency. You can't really just make them wait outside until an actual employee stops by to let them in, so you issue them their own passes and whatnot to make their lives easier and the company more productive.

The receptionist then wrapped up the conversation by explaining the basics of adventuring. And with that, the deed was done. We were adventurers, guild members ready to set off and do work.

"Wake up, Lefi. The lecture's over." I shook Lefi, who'd totally nodded off. The sheer boredom had put her straight to sleep.
"Mmrrphh…" She rubbed her eyes as she slowly woke back up. The gesture was so cute and lovely that it forced a bit of a wry smile onto my face.

After making sure she wouldn't pass out again, I looked back at the copper coloured plate and grinned. Holy crap, am I excited. Man, Lefi and the hero probably think I'm just being childish as fuck, but like, dude, I just became an adventurer. How could any real man not be excited?

"That card will let you enter the city whenever you'd like, so we should probably head back to the gate and return the temporary ID you got when you leave."

"Yeah, sounds good. Thanks Nell, I owe you one."

Alright! Here begins a heart throbbing adventure, a mysterious and bizarre tale featuring a Demon Lord seeking a life of adventure! Hell yeah! Let's do this!

Before I realized, I had become the guardian of a dungeon, a Demon Lord. I was suddenly in a dangerous world with giant monsters loitering around, fighting for their existence, so I thought to go about developing the dungeon in order to not die but —- for some reason I was having quite the good time…. How did it turn out like this?

The protagonist, Yuki, having to live in that world now, uses his bold and sharp senses and spends time with a supreme dragon girl and a vampire girl; Sometimes laughing, sometimes being angry, passing days doing what he likes.

The sun has risen once more, the birds chirp to the melody of the wind, while snow falls from the azure blue sky. People open their Sunday windows, while their maiden cooks them breakfast. Another usual day, before the start of the festival!

People come out of their house early to prepare for the celebration. Some placed lanterns and candles in front of their houses, some placed light across trees and shrines, while some? Hang decorative factors throughout the streets, especially the tree of festivity!

Enju's great tag battle frontier will take place on the Enju Plaza. A circular plaza that bears the battle temple. A very large Japanese old fashioned temple, with seats that surround one stage. There are two holding rooms or waiting rooms in other terms. 

The four of us walked past the streets, people hanging lanterns, decorations, and lights... a marvelous experience to see people working with Pokemons to help get the task finish. 

"Amazing huh... People and Pokemons working together." I marveled at the people working with their Pokemons while designing the whole town.

"Like what the legend says, kindness and generosity. The winter festival is also a day for gift giving and forgiveness and confessions. New beginnings, a new life!" Zhery exclaimed with excitement.

"You heard that loud and clear Riolu! You have to apologize to Floette!" I teased.

"Hmph! Floette hates me..."  Riolu infuriated.

"Well who caught her by accident?" I teased.

"Fine... fine... I'll think about it!" Riolu beamed with frustration.

While walking through the town, a large crowd gathered in front of the Battle Temple. Two fierce trainers were having a Pokemon match. Both Pokemons of either sides showed brute strength as they battled for victory, each of them released dazzling moves, some even landed in a critical hit!

"Hey look, it's Arc! He's against Lorelei." I beamed with excitement while watching their match.

"So that's Lorelei... She looks like a strong trainer." Camellia uttered with surprise and worry.

"Well... they're not called the elite four of the Kanto region for nothing! These elites are the toppest of the top! That's my opinion." I beamed with excitement.

Zhery and Glade cheered for Arc and his Pokemons. It looked to me that Arc was in a tight spot, his current Pokemon is frozen, Lorelei has the upper hand. Arc's other fans were also cheering for him, including the officers, teachers, and everyone who has watched his matches.

"The winner is Lorelei and her Pokemons!" One of the referees announced.

"A world champion lost against an elite four? How did he even beat Leon!?" Camellia questioned.

"Here's a fun fact Camellia. Arc doesn't only have those six Pokemons in his team right now. He also has Pokemons from other regions which he used against Leon. His strong Pokemons are stored up with his official professor. Arc loves to use Pokemons which inhabit the area, he wants to strengthen those Pokemons and not use the Pokemons he used in previous regions." Zhery explained.

"Hmph! Well in my opinion, Kalem is totally stronger and better than Arc!" Camellia beamed with uninterest in what Zhery explained.

"Of course... what could I expect? You admire him that's why you have no interest in other trainers..." Zhery whispered and teased.

"Why you!? I'll get you back next time!" Camellia beamed with frustration.

Even if Arc lost, the crowd still cheered for him. They were begging him to use his Latios in the Pokemon League but he declined. He wants to use Pokemons only native to the region.

"Hey Arc! Long time no see." I beamed with excitement.

"Well if it isn't Kalem and his friends! Nice to see all of you here in Enju town!" 

"Say, are you going to compete in the Tag Battle Frontier?" Glade queried.

"Of course! My tag partner will be no other than Krill! He's a strong trainer but I defeated him." Arc explained.

"Great... my two greatest rivals teamed up!" I beamed sarcastically.

"Kalem, don't lose hope! Doesn't mean I'm the champion I'm going to win, remember... I use native Pokemon, and don't worry I'm not like Tobias who used Darkrai and Latios to defeat my idol." Arc beamed and reassured.

"Where's Krill by the way?" Zhery questioned.

"I don't know, he's probably training somewhere! He's Blaziken and Gengar are extremely powerful... better watch out for those Pokemons." Arc warned and left the plaza to train harder with his Pokemons. I and Lorelei saw each other again for the tenth time I presume, another elite reunion!

"Look how tall you've grown." Lorelei teased while playing with my hair.

"Thanks, Lorelei... me and my friends will be competing at the Pokemon Tag Battle Frontier, we're going to win and I can finally have a chance to battle the four of you!" I beamed with excitement.

"Kalem, you never change... you're still that silly and determined boy your father and mother told me about. I'll be waiting once you win, the champion and the elite four of this region will be watching the match too." Lorelei smiled and teased.

"Really? Mother's gonna watch the battle?" Zhery's spirit was filled with exuberance.

"Yes! Alongside with Alice, Melody, Groyle, and Draco. They're going to be the referees of the whole competition."

"Great... they can see how profound my battling skills are." I beamed with excitement.

"Hehe... I'll be expecting big things from you and your tag partner. Fight like your mother, she used to be part of the ranking system." 

"Don't worry Lorelei, I'll make you and the rest proud!"

"Wow Kalem... I can't believe you're really friends with the Elite four of the Kanto region." Camellia beamed with surprise.

"Of course, we're friends with Kalem's parents. Oh and by the way... Lyra was my classmate throughout highschool and college." Lorelei explained while remembering her past.

From the entrance of the stadium, a Dragonite walked out with a tall man. He had a black cape with red spiking hair, his hands were covered with metallic gloves, while his body was covered with a necro suit. It was Lance, the dragon master. He wore his suit that he used when he was once the great Pokemon Champion of the Kanto region.

"Ah... Kalem's here!" Lance smiled and uttered softly while walking down the stairs. His Dragonite made a fierce and arrogant look while walking alongside his trainer.


"Hey Lance! It's nice to see you." I beamed with excitement and rushed towards Dragonite and Lance. It's our tenth time to meet, and I'm very happy to see him again.

"Hey, Dragonite, nice to meet you too!" I giggled while laughter while Dragonite tickled my belly. I and Dragonite are childhood friends, which... made Riolu a bit jealous.

"Hey Dragonite... I'm his Pokemon not you." Riolu beamed with frustration.

"Nice to see you too Riolu! Looking feisty as ever!" Dragonite smiled patted Riolu's head.

"Let me guess... You'll be competing in the Pokemon Tag Battle Frontier?" Lance hunched.

"Yes! That's right... I'm going to win the competition with my tag partner so that I could get a chance to battle the four of you!" I beamed with excitement and determination.

"Kalem... determined and jolly all the time!" Lance teased and chuckled.

"Wait... you're friends with the dragon master and his dragon Pokemon!?" My friends uttered with shock.

"Yes! Me and Dragonite always played together when mom had to attend cafe meetings with the elite four." I grinned while playing with Dragonite's face.

Riolu on the other hand was getting frustrated, the longer I played with Dragonite's face. From the left side, I saw a Steelix, alongside a Japanese man with a bulky body. 

"Bruno!" I beamed with excitement and rushed towards his Steelix.

"Oh my? Kalem... you're almost taller than me!" Bruno teased.

"Hahaha... it's nice to meet you again Bruno! Steelix, long time no see!"

<Steel!>Steelix smiled and lifted my body to the sky. I used to ride Onix's back when I was young, Onix evolved with the help of my mother. Bruno traded Onix with a special item. The mother traded Steelix back to Bruno. Mother loves to trade with people to help their Pokemons evolve.

"And of course... he's friends with Bruno as well." Zhery sighed and facepalmed.

Agatha came after a few minutes. The Elite four was complete! Lorelei, the ice type trainer... Bruno the fighting master! Agatha the ghost trainer... and Lance, the Pokemon Dragon Master.

From the plaza, a helicopter descended from above. It hade the E4 symbol on it, which made Zhery even more excited and determined. The helicopter doors opened slowly, and there came out the Elite four of the Laurenburg region. 

"Mother! You're here!" Zhery beamed with excitement and hugged Ms.Beatrice the moment she got off the helicopter.

"Oh Zhery... I've missed you." Ms.Beatrice I uttered solemnly while hugging her daughter. Groyle, Melody, Alice, and Draco went down the helicopter as well, with a cheerful and determined face.

"Hi there Kalem... Still remember me?"

"Of course! You're Alice of the Elite four, long time no see!" I beamed with excitement and joy.

"Hehe... you look much taller since the last time we met." Alice chuckled and teased.

"So... you've been friends with the Elite four of your own region," Lance uttered with a smile on his face.

"Hehe..." I uttered with an embarrassed face.

"So mother, is it true that you'll be the referees of the Pokemon Tag Battle Frontier?"

"No dear, just the elite four. Even the Kanto Elite four will also be the referee.  I'm here to watch and give support." Ms.Beatrice explained.

"There's also an opening ceremony. I and Lance will be doing a one on one Pokemon battle!" Melody beamed with excitement.

"Great... the two top one Elites will be fighting, and I'll get to watch it in the opening ceremony." I beamed with excitement.

"Mother... will the winner get to battle the Kanto elite four only? Or also the Laurenburgian Elite four?"

"Hehe... The winner gets to battle all eight not just four!" Ms.Beatrice explained.

"All right!? Amazing! I can't wait to battle all the elite four! Camellia, we have to do our best!" I beamed with excitement.

"Hey... why not we tag up with the Laurenburgian elites? So that it's not too long, and besides it's a tag battle anyways." Agatha suggested.

"That would be great Agatha! Teaming up with different regions will be amazing." Ms.Beatrice beamed with joy with sparkles on her eyes.

"Nice... I'll be teaming up with Melody, even if we're going to fight in the opening ceremony." Lance grinned.

"No problem Lance, I look forward to working with a dragon master." Melody beamed with excitement.

"Yo Bruno my man! Let's team up, fighting plus fighting equals more fighting!" Groyle suggested.

"Well duh!" Zhery teased on her mind.

"Sure Groyle! Let's work together!" Bruno agreed and smiled.

"About you Lorelei, do you mind if we partner up?" Alice begged.

"Sure... no problem! I can't wait to battle alongside you." Lorelei smiled and agreed.

"I guess you are my partner granny. My name is Draco by the way."

"Please... just call me Ms.Agatha, I'm looking forward to working with you." 

My eyes were in awe and excitement! I haven't seen such a truce before! They usually battle against each other, especially in world championships.

The Pokemon tag battle frontiers comes closer to us! What battles will we be expecting? Who will be the lucky challengers? Who will win the tag battle frontier!? The answer's to come as the journey continues...

I am Kalem, I had a common dream, a dream to become a Pokemon master, a dream to travel and adventure out through different regions. But that dream was crushed and destroyed... After hearing the news about the death of my parents, I started to lose interest on becoming a Pokemon Master.

I was adopted by an orphanage, there I met two persons who would soon become my best friend. Them, together with the headmaster helped restored my dream to become a Pokemon Master, and that was when I knew that my Parents were alive.

So me, together with my two friends travelled across the land finding clues and mysteries about my parents. As I travelled to seek for my parents, me and my friends saw something we would never forget...

When the lightning smashes through the window to reach Noriko, the Core's anti-duplication field falters. The interference lasts only a moment, but Kari can create duplicates in the blink of an eye.
A new Kari pops into existence right in front of the Core; she grabs the baseball-sized alien device and runs to the window, throwing herself off the building.
As shocking as watching a duplicate throw away its life so carelessly can be, Quantum knows there are more important things to do. With the Core away, he's free to use his powers.
The armed guards are disarmed with a simple blast of concentrated microwaves, which melts their weapons from the inside. A right hook takes care of one of the doctors, because you can't feel like a super-hero if you don't punch somebody in the face every once in a while.
In under a minute, all of Leiko's men have been taken down. The proud owner of Scion Corporation is on the floor, with a hand on her broken nose trying to stop the bleeding.
<-Security will be here in a minute and your alien friend can't stop the Core from coming back. You are not going to…> she threatens, stopping when she notices Noriko's stance.
She's zoned out, staring at her blankly with silver eyes filled with electricity. Staring her own hand soiled with blood, Leiko watches the electrical current still flowing from her own head.
<What are you seeing?> she asks.

Twenty-eight years ago
Leiko wasn't allowed in her mother's room. There were no pictures of her in the house and her father never talked about her; Leiko had to discover who she was by reading her books.
Wakahisa Noriko had been a respected professor of archeology and comparative mythology, so most of what she wrote went right above Leiko's head. She was smart enough to read them despite being only five years old, but even child prodigies have limits.
One night she sneaked into her room. She was laying on her bed, hooked up to a machine that recorded her vital signs; people said she had a stroke shortly after Leiko's birth, but there was nothing wrong with her body. She kept talking.

<Mommy?>
<What are you doing here?> something asked, with a scary deep voice.
Leiko screamed: there was a metal ball floating above her mother's head. In the dark, with the moon's light coming through the blinds, it looked downright demonic.
<What are you doing to my mommy!?>
<This primitive storage device cannot sustain a Drylon operating system. I am attempting to correct that flaw, but the biological hardware has sustained heavy damage.>

Eighteen years and six months ago
Leiko found herself naked inside some sort of storage room. There were boxes everywhere; she was in front of a ten feet tall statue of a man in a toga. The head and arms had been cut off.
There was some kind of alarm. The room was filled with armed angry men shouting orders in a foreign language that she couldn't understand, pointing weapons at her.
They ran all kinds of tests on her for several days. She was treated fairly, giving her time to study her captors. She identified all races she knew among them, and a few skin colors she'd never seen before. They spoke softly and never looked each other in the eye.
After they'd exhausted every possible kind of physical test feasible on a human, they started to ask questions. Every person they sent spoke perfect Japanese.
They wanted to know about Earth. Which god did they worship? When was the last time they saw one? What did they know about the nearby stars? What were the other planets in its solar system like? How advanced were their weapons? How many warships did they have?
Leiko answered every question. It was enough to break any teenager, let alone someone who by now knew she was pregnant. Leiko never complained, not even once.
After weeks of captivity, they took her to a poorly lit room where she waited alone for four hours. 
Finally her contact arrived. He was freakishly tall, at least eight feet, and his skin was extremely dark. Judging by how other people reacted to his presence, he was in charge of the place.
A woman with long blue hair followed him with, taking notes on a digital device. Leiko could've mistaken her for Native American.
<State your name, planet and god> he said in perfect Japanese, sitting down. Even so, he was taller than Leiko would've been standing up.
<I am Tanaka Leiko of planet Earth, and I have no god.>
<We have no record of a planet with such a name> the Native American with blue hair explained <However judging by the description of its solar system we believe it is a new name for Lethe.>
<The planet forgotten by the gods. What do you know about a man called Ulysses?> the tall man asked.
<That he took the Core to Earth two thousand years ago. My grandfather discovered it in China during the war and claimed it as his own personal property.>
<How do you know about the Core?> the tall man pressed her. Leiko didn't lose her composure.
<I have read the Odyssey. The real one.>
The tall man and the woman with blue hair looked at each other. They seemed very worried.
<Has anyone else read it on Earth?> he asked.
<Only my mother. She discovered the original text; that's how she found out about the Core and met my father. It has shared its secrets with me. And it wants to help you.>
<You know who we are, then> the tall man realized.
<The Mortal Liberation Front> Leiko answered.

Eighteen years ago
Leiko was sitting on a medical bed floating a few inches off the ground. The doctor placed the ultrasound sensor on her belly; she was in her eight month of pregnancy.
The tall man walked into the room, carrying a very heavy metal suitcase. He glanced at the monitor that was showing the heart rates of mother and child.
<Aren't you at least a little nervous? You're making my men look like amateurs> he said.
<We have another month before birth. Enough time to take all precautions.>
<I hope you are right. We had to sacrifice three worlds to get this.>
The tall man opened the suitcase. It contained a small device, no bigger than a fingernail, shaped like the symbol for infinity.
<The Nexus. Are you sure it will activate properly once on your world?> he asked.
<There are more than five billion people on Earth; it should be enough. You don't have another choice: if any god finds out about a Nexus activation they will burn its planet to the ground. >
<Very well. Proceed> the tall man ordered.
On Earth, such a procedure would've been fatal. However Leiko didn't even feel any discomfort when the needle went through her belly and straight into the child's brain, installing the Nexus.
But then Leiko's eyes turned silver, and all the medical monitors went crazy.
There was a bright flash of blue light. When it ceased Leiko had disappeared, leaving her clothes on the medical bed.

Today
Scion Corporation Headquarters, Tokyo
A slap in the face makes Noriko come back to the present. While she gets her bearings, Kari snaps her fingers in front of her.
<Hey, are you there? You're not going into shock again, are you?>
Just then, security rammed through the door. They were pointing their weapons and shouting orders in Japanese. Leiko composed herself, still holding her bloody nose.
<Settle down. Just a minor disagreement; miss Null was just about to leave.>
<The hell I am. You put some kind of alien device inside my head!!!>
<This is private property, miss Null, and you are no longer welcome here.>
<Your shareholders probably disagree. Have you watched the news, lately?>

Null Tower, New York City
Vesta knocks on the window, stroking her right arm to warm it up. She can still feel the cold from Triton…even space didn't feel so cold.
Kari's original body, still wearing her pajama, opens the window to let her in.
<Vesta, what took you so long?> she asks yawning, while creating a duplicate to hug the goddess.
<Someone stole the Twin Dragon.>
<Really? That's too bad. Are you hungry?>
Kari calmly walks towards the living room, followed by Vesta who is floating a few inches off the ground.
<Aren't you worried about your duplicates?>
<Nah, I can take care of myself.>
<Hey girls, we're on the news!> another Kari shouts.
In the living room, six different copies of Kari gather in front of the television. Torn is also there, almost invisible among the collective excitement of the duplicates.
The TV is showing four people walking out of a building, escorted by the police: Noriko, Bob and two Kari. Then it shows amateur footage of a lightning bolt striking the Scion Corporation skyscraper, then images of a hole in the sidewalk with the same size of a baseball.
<More news from Japan where the headquarters of Scion Corporation were the scene of several unexplained phenomena: a lightning bolt striking the upper floors despite the clear sky today in Tokyo, and reports of a woman falling off the side of the building but disappearing before hitting the ground. We have reports of teenage billionaire Noriko Null being present in the room struck by lightning; she was seen leaving the building accompanied by her father Robert and two unidentified women. There are also unconfirmed sightings of American super-hero Quantum in the building.>
<You guys better watch the…oh hi Vesta> Quantum says after appearing in the room.
At this point, nobody is really surprised to see him show up all of a sudden without warning.
<What happened over there?> Vesta asks.
<It's…kind of a long story.>
<Did you find your sister?> the original Kari asks.
<No, she wasn't there. Wait, here it comes!>
<But the big story today is the near meltdown of the Japanese stock exchange, with Scion Corporation stock falling dramatically over the course of the day after what experts describe as "the most aggressive hostile takeover in history"; reportedly, Null Technologies has acquired over 80% of Scion Corporation stock for less than 2 dollars per share. The Japanese finance minister has said, quote, "If she does this again we can kiss the financial system goodbye", but later added that his comments were taken out of context.>
<Don't you get it? Leiko just lost everything she had. We won!>
<Did she lose control of the Blue, the Core, the Fusion Reactor or of any technology she stole from Noriko? Or of the alien technology she clearly already has?> Kari asks.
<Well, no, not really. We lost her and the Core when we left the building. Now that I think about it, she probably wants to kill us even more now. But I got my comic books back!>
