Toradora! (とらドラ!) is a Japanese light novel series by Yuyuko Takemiya, with illustrations by Yasu. The series includes ten novels released between March 10, 2006 and March 10, 2009, published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. Three volumes of a spin-off light novel series were also created, aptly titled Toradora Spin-off!. A manga adaptation by Zekkyō started serialization in the September 2007 issue of the shōnen manga magazine Dengeki Comic Gao!, published by MediaWorks. The manga ended serialization in Dengeki Comic Gao! with the March 2008 issue, but continued serialization in ASCII Media Works' manga magazine Dengeki Daioh with the May 2008 issue.

Introduction:
At that time, the demon lord almost spread 
his corruption throughout the entire Eʋeland and beyond but, three warriors combined their spiritual power and managed to lock him into the demon chamber. Through these warriors, the spirit warriors(gbɔgbɔ aʋawɔla) were born each with their unique element.

[Several years passed and the introduction of foreign technology found its way into the cultural system of the people of the present-day Ghana. A teenager, 14 years of age  by name Selasi is awoken by the loud sound of his alarm]

Selasi: (aaawww, c'mon…... okay, I ain't gonna wake up... no way.) 

[His sister; Patricia opens his room door]

Patricia: Do you know that we are late??!!

Selasi: Huh? Late for what??

Patricia: I'm not surprised that you have forgotten. It's Saturday! We are supposed to go with mom to Accra.

Selasi: Why??

Patricia: ...really?

Selasi: …...hmm…. umm…...ooooh, yeah that book stuff mom was talking about. Ya know, I'm really not that interested in books.

Patricia: I know, but didn't you say that you would come?

Selasi: I did?

Patricia: Yes! Because of the comics

Selasi: ….oh.

Patricia: Mom's almost ready. If you won't come you can answer mom.

Selasi: (You little…) okay, fine I'm coming….

Patricia: Then you better be quick.

[Patricia leaves the room and Selasi prepares. They all sit in the car and leave for the city. Selasi notices the different route they were following]

Selasi: Mom, where will we be going first?

Mom: I have to buy some clothes on the way there so we will have to go through a different route.

Selasi: Oh, okay. (Juuust great) ... Mom can you drop me at the bookshop?

Mom: Are you sure you will be okay alone?

Selasi: Yes, I'll be fine

Mom: Ok, if you are done, pick a taxi back home.

[Selasi's Mom drops him at the bookshop and left to the market with his sister]

Selasi: Great! Now I can Check out the comic books here.

[He enters the bookshop and looks around for the comic books section. He finds it at the back of the room written on the door; "Comics". Selasi quickly walks to the door and opens it but finds out that it isn't as lively as he thought. He moves to the "manga" section and is called by a woman sitting on the desk at the back of the room]

Woman: Young man…. Can you spare me part of your time?

Selasi: Sure

[the woman looks like she is in her 30's but has a strange aura coming from her]

Woman: You like Japanese comics, right?

Selasi: Yes.

Woman: That's good to know…. A lot of youngsters like you do not have any interest in manga or anime. Did you know that?

Selasi: Umm…. Yes, I did

Woman: And you still decided to come. That's great.

Selasi: Well, I've been fascinated by the Japanese culture for a long time so…. but I also love my culture…. Even more. [he smiles]

Woman: Oh…. Really.

[After this there is a long silence in the room and the two stares at each other. Selasi prepares to leave but is stopped by the woman's question]

Woman: Are you interested in… spirits?

Selasi: …... umm, why this question?

Woman: oh, well you are in love with two cultures that have powerful spiritual connections so I was just wondering.

Selasi: …. oh, I like spirits maybe except for demons.

Woman: Demons? Why do you hate them?

Selasi: They are negative entities that just want to cause trouble so…. yeah that's why I don't like them.

Woman: What would you do if a demon showed up?

Selasi: I'd give it a good beating definitely! ….. haha! Just kidding! I'd run away!

[Selasi looks at the clock on the desk and notices the time]

Selasi: 8:30 pm?! Wow, my mom is gonna freak. Umm…. I'm sorry but I have to go.

Woman: I'd love to see that scene.

Selasi: hmm?

Woman: I'd love to see you run… for your puny life.

Selasi: Umm… Is that a joke or something?

Woman: … I don't think so.

[Selasi backs away slowly but the woman strikes him to the ground with an insanely long arm]

Selasi: Wh-what in the world is that thing?

Woman: I'm a demon you idiot… and you have one enormous amount of spiritual energy* laughs evilly* I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!

Selasi: (Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up! Get up!)

[Selasi gets up and runs through the door into the main hall. He realizes the emptiness of the hall and knows that the bookshop's closed. He looks behind him and sees the person he thought was a woman growing long arms and a long neck.  She appears to have no legs at all]

Selasi: (I'm not supposed to see anything that's not of this world, right?)

[The demon extends its arms to grab hold of Selasi but he takes a sharp curve through the emergency exit to the back of the building and stops in the middle of a large compound]

Selasi: (SO WHY THE HELL AM I SEEING THAT THING?!)

Demon: Heheheeeheeeheeeehehehehe…. Little rat, you think you are safe outside?

Selasi: eeeek! 

[Selasi picks up stones and begins to throw it at the demon but it just passed right through it]

Demon: Hee-hee have you forgotten that I am a spirit? Nothing of the material realm can touch me… but, I can touch them! Not fair! Right?

Selasi: (Dang! What am I going to do now)?

[The demon rushes towards Selasi with immense speed. Selasi suddenly stops hearing its evil screeches and looks up]

Selasi: (who is he?)

[He sees a man wearing unusual clothes and having a chewing stick in his mouth. Clothes that warriors in the ancient days would wear. He blocked the demon's attack with a thin sword]

Demon: … a Spirit Warrior! Hmph, well this is unlucky

[Selasi realizes the wounds that have been cut deep into the man. It seems as though he fought a tough creature]

Man: Leave this boy! I won't allow you to suck up his energy as if it's food.

Demon: Ho? How will you stop me with all those wounds? Hee-hee.

Man: hmph.

Selasi: What the hell is going on??!!

Man: You can see me?

Selasi: … surprisingly, yes.

[The man gives a smirk and grabs Selasi by his shirt]

Man: Let's run away.

Selasi: Excuse me, what did you say? *looks down* Hey! Isn't that a bit too high!?

Demon: Heeeheeeee. Are you trying to run away from me!? I'll have your soul no matter what! Ahahahahehheheehheeehahaaaaa.

[The strange man and Selasi land on a rooftop]

Man: Child, how can you see me?

Selasi: My name's Selasi so use it.

Man: Oh, you don't have to be afraid of me [he smiles]

Selasi: Uuh-huh.

Man: Now listen to what I have to say… My name's Edem by the way.

[Just when they finish discussing, the demon appears above them and strikes with its arm. The attack leaves debris flying all over] 

Edem: Selasi! Go!!

[Selasi runs towards the demon to distract it]

Selasi: You want my soul, right? Come and devour it!

Demon: If you want to play "chase the helpless and totally useless soul" I'll definitely play!

[Selasi leads the demon to an open area with a very low number of people]

Selasi: (Okay we're here but…. WHERE THE HELL IS, HE!?)

Edem: (Selasi! Get out of the way!)

Selasi: Hm?

[Selasi looks up to see Edem coming towards the demon with his sword which seemed to be enveloped in a crystal-like stream]

Edem: (I'll end this with the last bit of spiritual energy I've got). Prepare yourself, DEMON!!

"Kodansha Comics?"
Meng Fan didn't know much Japanese, but he could read most of the words on the business card Goro Takahashi gave him. Mr. Takahashi was an editor at Kodansha Comics. Given the style of the business card, he wasn't an average editor either.
This was a pleasant surprise for Meng Fan!
Before and after he was reborn, his sisters sponsored him with many gifts on this trip. Before the rebirth, he was most interested in CV concerts and "meet and greets." Now, he was more interested in visiting Shueisha Comics and meeting the comic artist Eiichiro Oda.
Of course, before the rebirth, he also loved manga and would have liked to visit Shueisha Comics and meet Eiichiro Oda. The visit, however, would just have been a regular visit.
Now, the purpose of his visit would be different.
If he was rewriting his life, what would he need?
Manga would undoubtedly be a big part of his new life!
He didn't realize one of the hostages was an editor, and a senior one at that, from a comics publisher. This was fantastic news for Meng Fan.
Perhaps it was Good Luck +1 in effect? It was a big coincidence.
Kodansha Comics was one of Japan's three largest comic publishers. The other two are Shueisha Comics and Shogakukan Comics. Together, the three manga publishers are known as the Gosanke.
Most of the Japanese comics popular with fans worldwide came from these three manga publishers.
Kodansha Comics is known as an advancing giant in the industry.
The publisher with the longest history, Kodansha Comics, is regarded as the boss of publishers (not just comics) in Japan. It has serialized "Attack on Titan,""GetBackers,""Fairy Tail,""Initial D,""Legend of the Dragon's Son,""Vagabond,""Ghost in the Shell,""The Three-Eyed One,""SM,""Card Captor,""The Tales of Genji,""Parasyte," and other well-known mangas.
Shogakukan Comics is a publisher known for comics for kids and teens.
As one of the largest comprehensive publishers in Japan, Shogakukan Comics focused on elementary school students as its audience early on. Based on the names of its comics, it's obvious that it has published many children's classics, some of which had even mesmerized grown ups, including: "Case Closed,""Pokémon,""Doraemon,""Urusei Yatsura,""Ranma ½,""Inuyasha," and many more.
Shueisha Comics is a publisher with some of the most talented comic artists in the industry.
Shueisha Comics publishes many comic magazines for teens, the most well-known of which is Weekly Shōnen Jump, which has the highest circulation in Japan's serialized comics. The magazine has released plenty of hits such as "One Piece,""Naruto,""Bleach,""Gin Tama,""Dragon Ball,""Yu-Gi-Oh!""Saint Seiya,""Slam Dunk,""Chibi Maruko-chan,""Food Wars!" and so on.
Other comic houses within Shueisha Comics have released legendary comics including: "To Love Ru,""One Punch Man,""Tokyo Ghoul,""The Prince of Tennis,""NANA," and more.
The number of comic classics published and serialized by Shueisha Comics is simply countless.
Shueisha Comics was founded last among the three legendary publishers. In the beginning, it was an entertainment magazine under Shogakukan Comics; now, it holds its own in the industry.
Most comic artists hope to have a chance to serialize their work in a Shueisha Comics magazine, including many Chinese comic artists, Meng Fan among them. This is true despite the shrinking comics market in Japan in recent years.　　
This is just like how, for most actors, their dream is to be a movie star in Hollywood — including most Chinese actors such as Meng Caiwei — even though China is now the world's largest movie market.
That's not to say that without being serialized in Japan or entering Hollywood, one would give up on the Chinese market.
Meng Fan put away the business card, his face showing happiness. He smiled at Goro Takahashi. "To be honest, I'm a college student majoring in comics. I actually have a series right now. One of my goals for this trip has to do with comics. I can't believe I get to meet one of the trailblazers of the industry today, I'm so honored."
Goro Takahashi looked surprised after he heard the translation from En'en's dad. The reason he introduced himself: young people like Meng Fan were usually comic fans, so he figured maybe he could thank Meng Fan in this way. He had no idea Meng Fan was studying comics and a comic artist as well.
After Goro Takahashi shook hands again with Meng Fan, he said, "M-san, please, allow me to take you on a tour of Kodansha Comics." 
"Absolutely. It would be my honor."
The two of them exchanged their contact information and made a date to meet again.
As he walked out, Meng Fan received at least fifty more business cards!
There were maybe even more than fifty, as they all came from the passengers on the flight, mixed in with numbers from several flight attendants.
While people knew it was unlikely Meng Fan would keep in touch with them, they clamored to leave him their contact information. It wasn't because they wanted to copy others, they just really wanted to befriend a legendary person like Meng Fan.
Based on the names on the business cards, most of them were Japanese, some were expats in Japan, and a few were Chinese. It was not an exaggeration to say that if Meng Fan had thick skin, he could eat and play for free for the next three to six months in Japan. He would have a great time too, since people traveling from Singapore to Japan were usually pretty successful.
Just like En'en's dad, after Meng Fan chatted with him after they got in the car leaving the airport, he learned the older man dealt in real estate, red wine, and soy sauce, but he wasn't a real estate developer.
The biggest coincidence was when Meng Fan realized they were from Hangzhou, too. He almost swore when he heard their home was near his school!
It was a good thing they weren't from the same district, just a nearby one; otherwise, it would be too much of a coincidence. 
When En'en learned Meng Fan studied near her house, she was even more excited. She wanted to go back to China with him, leaving her parents chagrined.
When their car entered the financial district of Otemachi, it stopped briefly at the Aman Kyoto Hotel, part of Otemachi-Tower.
Meng Fan and En'en made sure to meet again, then he left under En'en's reluctant gaze, carrying his suitcase.
The Aman Kyoto Hotel wasn't an entire building; it was in fact located on the top six floors of the Otemachi-Tower. The hotel lobby was on the 33rd floor, making the hotel rooms even higher. Because of this, the Aman Kyoto Hotel was known as "a luxury above the city."
As soon as Meng Fan entered the elevator, his phone rang. It was from Wu Tong.
"Are you in Japan?"
"Yes, I just got to the hotel."
"How long are you staying?"
"Two or three days?"
"You're not coming back earlier?"
"If I got everything done with the manga, I would go back earlier. Why, you miss me or worry about me?"
"So you do know!"
Wu Tong did sound a little displeased, but it was mostly worrying. Then she said, "Seventh Bro is taking his team to Kyoto today. When he gets there, you can head out and have him follow you, or have someone follow you."


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.


Zhang Zian quickly went downstairs and planned to visit Sun Xiaomeng's clinic to see what she was doing. He also wanted to refresh himself by taking a walk outside, now that his brain had been filled with endless English letters.
Passing the checkout counter, he casually said, "I'm going out. I'll be back in a minute."
When he spoke, he didn't look at Lu Yiyun because she was always immersed in painting when there weren't any customers in the store.
As he walked past the checkout counter, he suddenly felt a strange look come from behind him, and he stopped walking to look back at Lu Yiyun.
She was staring at his butt.
"Is there a stain on my trousers?" Zhang Zian patted his behind, wondering if the chair he had sat on up on the second floor was dirty and had stained his pants.
"No, no! Nothing! Nothing!" Panicked, Lu Yiyun came back to senses and hid her head into her digital drawing board, pretending to draw.
Zhang Zian thought her expression was off, but he couldn't tell why. Having no time to think about this issue, he rushed out the door.
After he left, Lu Yiyun patted her chest and felt relieved. 
"He almost found out," she muttered to herself, now that she was alone in the store.
"Quack! What did he find out?"
A voice suddenly sounded from above her head.
"Ah!" She screamed and looked up. It turned out that the talking grey parrot had landed on the shelf above her head and was staring at her painting on the computer screen.
On the screen, she had drawn a handsome young man. The style of the young man was like the common heartthrob from Japanese manga, but the outline of his face resembled Zhang Zian's to some extent. 
The young man in the painting was handsome indeed, but for some reason, he seemed to look a little gay.
"No... nothing..." Lu Yiyun couldn't help but want to conceal her intentions, even if the one who asked her a question was just a bird.
"Quack! What a handsome guy. Yiyun, is he your dream lover?" Richard flew to the desk, looking closer at the character sketch on the screen. 
"No, he's the protagonist of my comic," she replied.
"The protagonist of a comic..." Richard squinted and opened its beak, revealing a narrow arc. "What's his name?"
"Well, I haven't thought about that yet."
Lu Yiyun was so bad at naming her characters. Every time she needed to name a character in her comic book, she would have to search for names desperately on the internet.
"Quack! In that case, I think I can tell you a good name." Richard's smile carried a dangerous implication. "Would you like to hear it?"
She nodded. "What's the name?"
Richard solemnly said, "Nowadays, everything is in line with international standards, especially comics. Because comics are image-based and only have a small number of words, they're easier to understand for people of different languages."
Lu Yiyun gaped in surprise. She thought that this gray parrot was intelligent and its words were making a lot sense, so she listened to it more attentively. This was indeed the case with comics. By simply translating the dialogue between characters, a Japanese manga could be easily understood by Chinese, American, and German readers, and vice versa.
Seeing her falling into its trap, Richard continued. "Now, there are many people who come to China to study and travel. For instance, the exchange student Masanori Suzuhara who was here a few days ago. If you want to make your comic's audience bigger, you should give a Chinese-Western name to the protagonist, so that the readers abroad can better immerse themselves in the story." 
Lu Yiyun nodded vigorously. "What would be a better name then?"
Richard was about to reveal its real intentions. It excitedly fluttered its wings and cried, "Quack! How about Billy Zhang?" (Translator's note: Billy Herrington is an American pornographic film actor.)
Billy Zhang?
Lu Yiyun thought that this name sounded a bit familiar, but she couldn't remember where she had heard it from.
"Oh? How do you know his last name is Zhang?"
She suddenly realized that she'd never told Richard that she planned on using the last name Zhang for the protagonist. How did Richard figure it out?
"Quack! Don't mind the minor details!" Richard carefully observed the styling of the young man, shook its head, and changed the subject. "This styling isn't going to work."
"Why? What's wrong with it?" Lu Yiyun felt a little upset from Richard rejecting her design.
Richard raised one wing and pointed at the screen, "You've done a good job with painting, but this style is too Japanese and slender, which is really common on the internet, but isn't easily recognizable."
Lu Yiyun stared thoughtfully at the screen and re-examined her sketch objectively. Indeed, as the grey parrot said, the protagonist's styling was handsome, and had been painstakingly designed by her. However, this Japanese girly styling was extremely rampant on the internet, and her design was simply more elegant than others, but it had no distinctive features to make it recognizable. 
"Then, what styling would be better?" she humbly asked for advice.
Her mind was immersed in the comic world and she'd forgotten that she was talking to a parrot. Since she often talked to her cat Jasmine at home, Zhang Zian often talked with the cats, dogs, and parrots in the pet shop, and Little Celery often talked with the hamster and lop-eared rabbit, she didn't feel like talking to animals was unusual. 
Richard rolled its black eyes and said slyly, "Why not paint him as a muscular guy? A muscular guy with a good-looking face? What do you think?"
Lu Yiyun immeditaely became inspired!
Right! Another identity of Zhang Zian's was a prestigious Master of Wing Chun Kung Fu. She heard that he practiced boxing almost every day. Under his ordinary clothes, he definitely had huge hidden muscles!
With the protagonist's beautiful face and over-developed muscles, he could rip his shirt apart from time to time. The contradiction in his looks and personality would easily leave a lasting impression on the readers!
As for why the protagonist would have to tear up his clothes in a pet shop, Lu Yiyun figured that she could worry about it later.
Her thoughts were occupied with images of an attractive and muscular guy ripping up his clothes and she'd forgotten to focus on why the gray parrot had come up with this idea in the first place.
"It seems very reasonable," she said nodding. "Thank you."
Even though this meant that she had to recreate the protagonist, she felt like it was worth it.
"Quack! You're welcome. If you have any issues, feel free to ask me for help." Having successfully gotten revenge on Zhang Zian, Richard happily fluttered its wings and flew away. "Well, I'll leave you to it."
It landed on the shelf above the doorway. "Just concentrate on drawing and don't worry about anything else. If that idiot Zhang Zian returns, I'll let you know."
"Uh-huh."
Lu Yiyun gratefully picked up her pencil and started working on the protagonist's design. Without her realizing, the decision between no couples or boy love for her comic had also faded from her mind.

The climate of the weather changed. I could tell from the stuffy smell and the smell of incense that I was back at the mortal realm.  All that was left was to remove the blindfold and see I was at the same place. As expected I was at the mortal plain. I went to check on my watch on how long I was gone. But as I checked my wrist, the watch was gone. Seeing that was proof that I just came the heavenly realm. Soon Tyrell approaches me at my line of sight. "You've been at it for awhile." He said. "How was I out?" I asked.

"For a few minutes."

"That long? I thought I was out longer."  

"Time in the heavenly plain runs differently compared to that of mortal realm. I guess you can say it barely exist...that's what my seniors tell me." 

I look at the corner and find Rebecca sleeping near the arch. We both developed a blank stare at her. "She really gets bored very fast, does she?" I asked. "Staying in one place isn't really her style. If I remember well...the reason why she's in the research team was that she liked moving around and getting occupied." He replied.
"It's really easy to forget that she's like this, huh?" 
"Rebecca was always on contract with most of her jobs. However all of them had to do with video games." 

Tyrell then give it a lot of deep thought. He nodded as he started to get what was going on. "That explains why she's so gunho about getting a lot of skills." Tyrell points out, "Yeah…she's really getting kicks out of learning a lot of skills from her guild and her books. I guess she's just really bored."

"Ehh…? What are you trying to say?" I asked out of curiosity.

"She's been doing the same thing as you. Gaining skills anywhere and play them as if it's like an RPG." Tyrell replied.

"EHH?! How exactly is she doing that?! But then again...HOW THE HELL IS THAT THE SAME WAY AS ME?!" I overreacted.

"You are both reckless and tend to geek over a lot of things more than you do with me." Tyrell says, "If you weren't so tone deaf with the ladies, I'm sure you would have been a couple by now." 

That felt like it pierced my ego. Just to be told that was kinda embarrassing. What did we look like...a bunch of hermits? "Yet didn't the Japanese have a term for that…something like geek?" Tyrell monologues, "Yeah...it was like...shut in...Otaku, isn't it?" 

Again my pride was hurt. Tyrell went closer  to my face. He then looks at me with a straight face and says, "Richard's right. It's funny to tease you. It's like I can read you like a book." The man started to crack up in laughter as it was getting hard to hold. "Sometimes I wonder if you're part cat." Tyrell added. 

The man then directs her gaze at me. It looked very bland and had a bit of disappointment. "Come to think of it...sometimes I wonder where the demon part goes whenever your curiosity comes to play." Tyrell says, "Maybe we should put some cat ears on you and a tail if the theory works." That was an eye opener on its own. Hearing that out loud sent shivers down my spine. 'As if that would happen.' I tell myself, 'Good thing that this isn't an anime.' But my eyes were wide open and my jaws dropped. Tyrell was holding a cat ear headband, pet collar, and tail . "Wait...what are those?" I asked, suspiciously. "Rebecca just wanna see you with these on." 
"Then what's with the rope?" I asked frantically.
"Just in case you use magic to escape."
"Like I can! And don't look at me like that!" 
"What look?"
"That leering look! It's gross!" 
"This is payback for that one time with the bachelor party!"
"How the fuck am I supposed to remember that!"

That's when I decided to run for it. But just under the arch somebody threw a bola at my feet. I fell at the ground hard. Rebecca then woken up with all the noise. She wipes her eyes and tries to take a good image. A blank look came into her eyes. Turns out she was the one who threw it. She then stands up and stays behind me. "You are doing it all wrong." Rebecca mumbled. Without warning the girl started to tickle me from behind. I started to jitter and laugh as Rebecca started hitting my ticklish parts.

 But that was when I heard a clicking sound. It turned out to be a pet collar in place around my neck. I took a gaze and all the stuff Tyrell was holding was gone. Which meant the cat tail and ears were already on me and I reacted in shock as I heard handcuffs click. "That is how you do it." She said. Tyrell then starts to look at her  impressed. "It looks like you improved with sneaking." Tyrell complemented Rebecca. "Hehehe, now we just have to put on the leash." Rebecca said as she held the rope. But as I stepped back I tripped on my butt. With that, it left me wide open and made me vulnerable. "NOw...lets bag us a kitty cat." Tyrell weirdly uttered. I let out a scream.

It was later that I was tied at my arms and was stuck in Indian sit with my hands on my back. I tried to snap with an ignite spell, but sadly the spell didn't conjure properly. It looks like the rope had anti-magic properties. "I know you want to restrict me from using magic but is this really necessary?" I asked them. "We did warn you not to use magic but you just keep on pushing it." Tyrell told me. "Then why the cat ears?" I asked.
"That was extra for me." Rebecca butted in.
"Then can you take them off?...it's embarrassing." I insisted.
"No way! I've been in a rut in studying those books. I need this!" Rebecca declined.
"Take off the cat stuff! Somebody's gonna get the wrong idea!" I demanded.

It was there that Gram started to wake up from his sleep. He came from behind offering box and slowly stood up and started to stretch. "What the nine realms is going on?" He asked as he awoke. It was only a few minutes later that I figured out that nothing was going to happen. I was still stuck at my binds, tied up and everybody else was doing their own thing. The girls were talking about the regular stuff while Gram was fixing his equipment for the next hunt. But i soon gave up and decided to humble myself. "I know I'm gonna regret asking this but...why exactly am I still in binds with cat ears and a tail, exactly?" I asked out of spite. "While you were meditating, Richard showed up to check on us." Gram tells me, "He gave us a request while you were in focus."

"And...what were those request?" I asked regretfully.

"I think it went out as…'If Rin does anything applied to magic or is about to, the  newbies are free to troll him while or asleep or awake'." Gram told me.

Hearing that ticked a nerve. I think a vein just popped in my body. "If it's a request then why go for it?! Plus I didn't do anything!" I exclaimed. "Yet you were going to read these text weren't you?" Rebecca said as she put some books in front of me. I looked a bit closer  and they looked like traditional Japanese books with kanji on them. The title of the book on top read out as 'Basic Onmyoudou Theory and Methods.' Those must be the books Tsukuyomi was talking about, I thought. "Tsukuyomi gave me those books to help me improve with my magic." I answered.

"Yet you were going to use magic to learn, weren't you?" Rebecca wanted to confirm.

"The book on top is the equivalent to a textbook! Books like these don't have spells!" I told her.

Rebecca then takes the book at the bottom and flips a few pages. It revealed a pentagram. "If I remember well the pentagram in Onmyoudou resembles the five elements. Looks like according to the diagram, is some sort of spell. I bet you're just tempted to learn it." She put out.

"All I was gonna do is read them!" I denied.

"Yet you did use magic awhile ago with that jedi mind trick, didn't you?" She asked.

Looks like she got me. I was dumbstruck as I could feel that Luka was reading my face. "I knew it." Rebecca said. I could feel sweat flowing down my veins. "But I was told that using magic won't affect me once I hit the Heavenly plain." I said. "And who said that?" Rebecca asked.
"It turns out some of my reincarnations had experience with gods. Even Hijikata had experience with a god, just no magic." I told her.

"However it looks like you look a lot better now. You look less pale that before." Tyrell pointed out. 

Those words clicked onto Gram. The lizardman came closer to me and took a magnifying glass from her bag. The guy starts to pay attention to my eyes and skin. He then takes a tongue depressor and looks inside my mouth. After a final check at my eyes, he folds his magnifying glass and comes with a conclusion. Gram then unties my hands. "Try to conjure a ignite spell with your Magus eyes and light this paper on fire." He told me. I use my magus eye and casted the spell. The sensation of mana started to circle around my hand giving a warm sensation. With a snap of my fingers the mana changed into a physical form and turned into flames and lights the paper on fire. "Looks like the transition of mana looks smooth. If mana spells are good then that should mean the chi spells are good too." Gram said.

"What makes you so sure?" I asked.

"Whether or not you use Mana or Chi based magic, all that matters is whether the caster's body is still fit to conjure. Since your body is able to control mana properly, my guess is your body might be back to normal." Gram hypothesized as he tied my hands back.

"So that's it? All he needed to do is visit the heavenly plain?" Tyrell asked.

"Well… in theory the heavenly realm is pure energy...maybe that energy revitalized him." Gram suggested. 

"So basic equivalent to going to church is the same as healing him? That's kinda underwhelming." Rebecca commented.

"Were you expecting something else?" Gram asked.

"A magic circle or something...I guess." Rebecca thought.

"Anyways can we get rid of these binds? I'm getting hungry." I pleaded.

"You did break the rule. But I don't see the point in keeping you like that if you're fully healed." Tyrell thought.

"He isn't fully healed. Rin's body is capable but I think the guy still needs to rest up before we can allow him to use magic again." Gram suggested.

"Then wouldn't it be proper for me to call it a day by heading to an inn and get some rest?" I asked.

"I doubt Rebecca would agree with that." Gram pointed out.

I looked at Rebecca and I suddenly form a confused look at my face. Rebecca had stars in her eyes and looked ecstatic for some reason. It was only there that I noticed that she was reaching for her sketchpad and pencil. She started to breathe heavily and was getting off on this. "Rebecca. Put those things down and untie me." I insisted politely. "Nope! Stand still while I use you as a model. This will only take a few minutes." She insisted. Again the chill at my spine comes colder. I knew what she was about to do but I was trying to deny it. "What are you doing exactly?" Tyrell asked. "I figured since Rin is tied up like this I might as well make him become a model for doujinshi." Rebecca answered.
"Doujin…shi?" Gram mumbled out of confusion.
"They're independent comics and books of drawings done in anime and manga style. They kinda sell a lot depending on the style of the art. They can range from independent, fan fictions, to even art books." Tyrell explained to her.
"Ooohh, come to think of it...there were a few selling at the Moving Quill guild." Gram commented.
"Yeah. They sell anybody's even from outside of their guild. I figured that I might as well give it a try." Rebecca mentioned.
"WAIT?! YOU'RE GOING TO SELL SKETCHES OF ME IN THIS?!!!" I overreacted.
"Nonsense! You're just the model. Of course I'm gonna make something else. I just need to sketch you in a couple of poses." Rebecca assured with a perverted smile.

My face turns red. I didn't know how to react. Cheeks were becoming heavy and I just wanted to go away. But most of all that perverted smile when she draws was creeping me out. But the time I started to move, Tyrell stepped in. "I don't know.. Maybe we should let Rin rest. He probably needs it." Tyrell told her. But as Tyrell about to pull Rebecca away, her eyes were caught in the drawing. It was at first a blank stare but eventually it shifted to fixation as he saw dollar signs. Tyrell then squatted at Rebecca's level and whispers into her ear, "Can you make them more innocent when you start making these?"
"OI! Who's side are you on?!" I exclaimed.
"Hmm...I never expected it  to look so professional." Gram commented as he looked at the sketch.
"Dammit Gram! Don't encourage her!" I shouted.
"What? It looks good.". He insisted.
"Besides, there's nothing wrong with a few drawings." Tyrell assured. 
"You don't get it! She does erotic ones and sells them at Comic Con! When they were making big buck, she wanted to sell them at  Komiket!" I told them.
"Komiket?" Gram asked Tyrell.
"Japan's anime and manga version of Comic Con. They also have a panel for independent creators too. Surprising a lot of them are erotic." Tyrell answered with a red face.
"Oi! Exactly which part of Komiket were you at?!" I asked Tyrell loudly, out of suspicion.
"A friend invited me! I didn't even want to be there!" Tyrell exclaimed.
"Well I don't wanna be here either! Get me out of here or I'll break them myself!" I talked back.

That's when Tyrell takes a good grip on my shoulder. Tyrell then goes closer to me. "Don't you dare brake that! You have any idea how hard it is to weave rope with anti-magic properties!? I was close to depression there!" He threatened in a passive aggressive manner. Hairs started to stand behind my back. I looked away as I saw Rebecca and Tyrell occupied with the drawing. It looks like I couldn't do anything at the moment so I decided to deal with it. "Can't you just take a picture of me instead? What if somebody sees us?" I pleaded. "Can't. Phone died." Rebecca replied.
"Didn't you have a solar panel charger and some power banks with you?"
"Well I can't charge them if there isn't any sun. Unless you can use some form of light magic, you're not getting way from this."

All I could do was sigh. I didn't want to break the rope neither did I wanted to cause a ruckus. The more noise I made, the more I would attract people. On the bright side the shrine maiden put out a sign saying that she was out for lunch. Meaning to say that we were the only ones there. The rest of the shrines were empty and had the same notion as well. At least I didn't have to worry about anybody else. "Alright I'll lend you my extra power bank! For all we know somebody else might be coming along." I told her. 

But I spoke too soon as footsteps can be heard behind me. I turned my head, only for the rest of the group to be behind me. Mr. Williams and Magna just stood there in silence as they were confused on what was happening in front of them. Outcomes Richard, not aware what was going on. "What are you guys looking at? We need to think of a plan for tomorrow."  He asked. But only when the man turns the same direction as the two of them he starts to react the same way. But that slowly changed a few seconds later. He forms a troll face expression then takes out his phone. With a flash of his phone, my eyes started to lose color as shock started to fill in my head. Richard started to laugh his ass off to the point that he started to fall in the floor. "I know your crew had something on them but this way beyond I was thinking!" He laughs out loud, "All we need now is the ball gag and stripping and it's going to be like an anime!"

My face becomes red with embarrassment and anger. In response I ended up using my telekinesis to lift up a rock then threw it at his head. Richard barely dodges it and turns white. "What the hell Rin! That could have fucking hurt!" He shouted. "Delete that photo before I turn you into a eunuch!" I shouted in Japanese.

"Yeah right! This is a chance of a lifetime!" He laughed in the same language.

The both of us ended up arguing in Japanese the whole time. All everybody else could do was stare as we argue. Most of it being low blows and relating it with our past lives at the Bakumatsu. As both me and Richard started to lash out, the rest of the group were caught staring at the two of us. "You know...I can't help but find this a little familiar..." Magna commented.
"I know...yet I can't point my finger at it..." Tyrell agreed.
"Come to think of it...I think I know." Rebecca mumbled.
"You have an idea?" Tyrell asked Rebecca.
"Shounen, comedy anime..." Rebecca answered blindly.

The whole crowd looked at each other. But they soon rationalized on the similarities and nodded in agreement. "All we have to do is identify the protagonist. It's either the happy go lucky idiot or the emotionally dense one." Magna said. "Either way the both of them are idiots." Mr. Williams added. Everybody started to nod except for me and Richard. We then look at them and shouted, "Don't you guys pair him up with me!"

I reviewed a lot of titles with Dasha in the evenings, we even came together. In the first half of my studies, I was actively hanging out with "new friends": I had a lot of fun, I had fun. "People aren't born equal", Even though they should be. We are all living breathing beings born of the same species on the same planet, in the same universe. So what made some people better than others? Quirks, super powers that over eighty percent of the population were born with. It used to be money, or ethnicity, but that was human nature. People will always find ways to be better than others just so they could look down on the others. Unfortunately for Izuku Midoriya, he was the one of the 'others' of society.
A quirkless boy that everyone looked down on, like he had some sort of disability just by being a normal human. But even still, he wanted nothing more than to be a hero, maybe not the greatest hero, but a hero none the less. All Might was always his idol, that man's smile and attitude was always a light in his otherwise bleak world. That's what he wanted to be, that light in someone else's world, Izuku felt like he owed it to someone out there to be their light just like All Might was his.
Until he was told by said hero to give up on his dreams. Until he saw All Might for what he really was. It was one thing to be picked on by Kacchan and told every day that he was a quirkless nobody that could never be a hero. As much as that chipped away at his self-esteem and confidence, he could still carry on with that. But to hear the same thing from the number one hero. That was soul crushing.
'I can't be a hero huh? Fine. You win world', Izuku sighed finally giving up. He didn't bother stopping to take notes on whatever commotion was going on in the streets. All of his notes, scientific formulas, diagrams and sketches for devices and gadgets were meaningless to him now. He didn't care anymore.
LATER THAT DAY
Izuku stared at his wall of hero posters and magazine cutouts with a somber look on his freckled face. Slowly he reached up and started taking them down, opened up one of the trash bags he got from the kitchen and stuffed it all into the bag.
"It appears your son is quirkless, I'm sorry but he won't be able to be a hero"
He took all of his notebooks and tossed them in the bag. Next was all of his theories, sketches and diagrams for devices and gadgets that could simulate a quirk. He even threw out all of his mathematical equations for these theories and hypothetical projects.
"I'm sorry Izuku"
Izuku went into his closet and grabbed all the comic books, manga, and graphic novels that he collected over the years. It wasn't just Japanese comics, but American ones to. He used to like the intricate and elaborate universes that Marvel and DC created with their comics. Now though they all lost meaning to him so into the trash they go.
"I'm sorry kid, but without a quirk you can't be a hero. We risk our lives every day, it's not something a quirkless person can do. Try being an officer, sure it's not the most glamorous job, but it's still a noble profession"
Lastly the All Might merchandise that he kept had to go. That man used to be his favorite hero. A hero that saved people with a smile and always preached about never giving up. Until Izuku got to meet him face to face and was told by the number one hero to give up. He even got to see the hero's true form, a skinny emaciated man that wore his muscles like a mask. Hiding the weak body beneath. It was all so eye opening. Not only was his dreams to be a hero crushed, but it turns out his role model All Might was nothing more than a pretender. 'Three hours a day huh?' He might as well be one of the made up heroes in those comic books stuffed in the trash. 'Clinging to his title and fame like a leech, even if it costs him his health'
Just like all these fake heroes in today's quirk obsessed society. All they cared about is fame and money. No one wanted to be a real hero that just wanted to save people. Kacchan was the perfect example, always boasting about being the greatest and richest hero ever, but the way he bullied Izuku you would think he'd be more suited for a life of villainy. Though that was human nature wasn't it, nobody did anything for free, everyone wanted something and these frauds dressed in colored costumes were no different. Where were the real heroes? The ones like in his comics, the ones that these moronic fakers pretended to be.
Irritation and disgust began to fill Izuku's thoughts as he glared at his now barren room. 'If I had a quirk I wouldn't be like them', that thought caused the green haired boy to deflate when he realized there really was nothing he could do about it. What could a week quirkless boy like him do to change society? To change the world? According to the doctor, Kacchan and All Might, nothing.
"People really aren't born equal", he sighed again sadly with tears building up. He always knew that he could never be a hero, but he just wanted to hear one person say he could do it. That's all, just one voice in the cacophony of screams that said he couldn't do anything, to say that they believed that a quirkless boy could do something great. That alone would been enough to ease all the pain and heart ache.
Walking back to the closet he checked to make sure everything got thrown away. There his eyes spotted one lone comic book sitting on the top shelf. Reaching up he grabbed it and brought it to his face to look at the cover. He smiled lightly to himself as he remembered this one fondly. A story where the villain technically wins, but the bad guys motives while horrific were done for what he believed to be a noble cause. Balancing the universe, making everything as it should be. Flipping through it he paused on a very epic drawing of the purple skinned villain holding up his gauntlet covered hand about to snap his fingers with it. His green eyes lingered on the stone covered gauntlet while his mind ran a mile a minute.
Izuku suddenly felt an idea pop into his head. For some reason this particular comic reminded him of an interesting article he read a while back. Placing the novel on his desk he went over to the trash bag and dug through for some of his notebooks. Finding the correct one the freckle faced boy flipped it open to his notes along with the print out of the scientific discussion.
Apparently a scientist in Germany figured out a liquid serum that once ingested or injected directly into the blood stream could give that person a quirk for a limited time. Just a few seconds, according to a highlighted sentence. The serum was based from the concentrated DNA of quirked individuals and was unfortunately abandoned due to the dead end the research team ran into.
This led Izuku to wonder. The serum, called project 'Prometheus', was considered a failure due to the fact that the time limitations could never be expanded upon. Looking at his notes on the formulas that were published in the article, he had to wonder if they were looking in the wrong direction. If a quirk could be concentrated into liquid form, could it be concentrated into a solid form. For example a stone, a small stone that could be fitted to a device that would allow the wielder to use a quirk that the stone was derived from.
Izuku pulled out some blank papers and started drawing up some equations. He may not have had a quirk, but he still excelled in math and science. In fact if it wasn't for his foolish dream to go to U.A he would have graduated middle school a year ago. Having a genius level intellect was the only solace the universe gave him, after robbing him of the gift of having a quirk. Too bad such a powerful mind wasn't even considered as remarkable in a world where quirks outshine everything.
THE NEXT MORNING
"Yes this is it", Izuku wanted to laugh in triumph. "This is it" He spent all night working on this equation and he finally cracked it. A way to extract the essence of a quirk from someone's DNA and concentrate it into a crystalized stone form. His formula was based off of project 'Prometheus', except his would work, in theory at least. He was so close though, just a few lines of math could turn a quirkless person into the most powerful being on the planet. All he needed was some sort of object to attach the stones too once they were made. But what kind of devise should he make? Looking at the comic that inspired him he decided that he might as well go with that.
"The Infinity Gauntlet", Izuku smiled thinking about the future hero society he will make with this device. No more frauds and pretend heroes like All Might. Everything will be as it should be. Perfectly balanced. With only those he deemed real heroes allowed. His dream to be a hero was dead, but his new dream, he vowed would come to fruition.
However there was just one problem.
"Where am I going to get the money to make it?"

This was an idea a friend and I came up with recently after seeing Infinity War. At first I wasn't going to write this because I already had an Infinity Gauntlet parody I planned on doing in the future as part of the Time Misfits trilogy on my profile, but we started talking about this idea and spent a good three hours discussing it. By the end my friend practically begged me to write it so here I am.
My knowledge of this series isn't as encyclopedic as say Bleach as I just go into it, I'm on season two, so I'll do my best. Thank god for Wiki, am I right?
If Izuku was going to be a villain I like to think he'd be a nerdy type villain like Syndrome. A villain that makes devices and gadgets to make himself powerful. Knowledge is power and all that.
Izuku is not going to have the gauntlet yet, it will be some chapters later where he finishes it and adds the stones to it. It's going to be five stones not six, no mind stone because I feel like that would a bit too OP. The stones are also going to work a bit differently then what you're probably thinking.
I don't want to spoil too much, but there's going to be a couple fight scenes between Izuku and All Might where things are going to get pretty crazy. I'm trying to improve how I write fight scenes, so consider this a teaser of coming events.
I'm curious to see what you all think. Should I continue it or scrap this story?

Sometimes napapaisip ka nalang .. What if nagkatotoo yung kinagigiliwan mong fictional character? Sa teleserye man o libro, hindi naman natin minsan maiwasan na mainlove sa isang karakter, marahil sa kanyang ugali, personalidad , o kaya ang kanyang muka. 

Si  Dianne  ay 18 years old, and ready to step forward sa college. Since childhood nakasanayan  na  nya magbasa ng mga libro at nobela, it was supposed to be na pang-palipas oras  lamang niya iyon, everytime na wala syang magawa. Till' then naging hobby na niya ito hanggang mapadpad siya sa mga comics and manga noong Highschool.  

She was fairly attractive, at ang kanyang pamilya ay abot kaya-lamang,  Her father was actually a novelist, and just as she open her eyes into the books of paradise, her father eyes were already closed. Not too long her father died, due to cancer. Hindi agad ito na-aagapan or na detect agad ng machine when it's just in a stagnant level. After his Death, she started visiting her Father's Study room, from time  to time. Until she came across to a book, written on his name, Binasa nya agad ito, dahil gusto nya malaman kung anong nakasaad sa libro nang kanyang tatay. Days passed and she finished the first book written by his father, she was brought to tears, how nostalgic the feeling was. Years came she finishes all the book, until she stumble upon one comic book that was illustrated and also written by his father, it was quite old but it's still appealing. Binasa na nya ito and for the first time, she saw that type of book, It's like a drawing with text as her first impression just like the children's book.

Neither less, tungkol ito sa isang babaeng commoner, that fell inlove sa isang Royalty in disguised. The commoner was one of the thousands mere people in the area. But then there Kingdom was attacked, and it was now in the hands of the crowned Prince of the Azzelea Kingdom. The commoner was one of the many people who loses there most of their belongings and loved ones. Nakita syang palaboy laboy after war the slave trader came across her and captured her-  imprisoned her until someone will bought her,  As the Crowned Prince stumble upoon sa lugar ng mga slaves, he was disheartend and was a little angry giving a fierce look to the Slave trader who owns the Slave. Not only that, the slaves have admired how the Crowned Prince acknowlege them, even what kind of status you have in life, and soon left the area. The young female Commoner soon find a way as he meet the Crowned Prince once again, and at the end facing many hardships in different circumstances. they eventually fell in love together, and I actually didn't know what happen  in the ending, halos lahat kasi ng mga pages sa last part nito were torn apart or gibbeish na di mo maintindihan, there's a lot happening in the end but I was sure the last page was the scence of the Crowned Prince and the commoner kissed, I wonder how it actually turn out.. bago pa man nangyari ang ending nato.


After that, kina-hiligan ko na tuloy magbasa at bumuli ng mga ganong libro sa bookstore, Nagandahan ako kung pano nila pinakita ang mga "scence" and "characters" and into some point na it becames realistic and changes into a new world, parang mas lalo mong mas-naiintindihan at mas-close up ka pa sa kanila. I know na writtien books can also take you there in to far heights, para sakin kaya karin dalin ng mga gantong libro sa taas.

Pag-alala ng nakaraan na-alala ko pa kung pano ako na fall in love sa crowned prince, minsan childish- seryoso,mabait at kagalang-galang, yung tipong hanggang panaginip mo lang sya nakikita at sa libro na babasa.. Sometimes iniisip ko nalang na nag switch roles kami ng bida at ako ang kasama ng prinsipe, how charming right? Alam mo yung tulad ng feeling na hanggang tingin ka nalang kay crush tapos hanggang tingin ka na rin na makita mo sya ma fall sa iba? Sakto sa puso.. Hanggang ngayon binabalik-balikan ko parin basahin ang comic book nayon, kahit may old copy naman ako nang novel na iyon, na sanay na akong unahin munang basahin ang comic book/ or manga actually... lagi nalang ako na lo-love struck.. 


Ikaw ba? what if ma suck in ka sa loob ng libro? would you be happy, suprised, sad- ano ba kaya ang mararamdaman mo sa kalagayang iyon..

Would you rather stay and find that was destined to you fictionally? or find a way out to go back to your real world?

I always fantasize na what if I fall inlove and met my beloved? But him as a Fictional Character is such a bazarre Fantasy.

Dianne was always intrigued to a comic book/manga that her father made back then as she find that mysterious book out of curiosity in his father's bookshelf.
As Dianne read the book she was intrigued and come into the liking of manga and comics. 

Remembering back of the old days, where she remember the book her father made him that never cross off her mind was the man of her dreams, Lalaking nagpatibok ng kangyang puso sa relasyong hindi naman magkakatotoo.

Pero one day , she wakes up in a seemingly different world, from what she saw' was not that ordinary... no high-tech stuff, cars, or to be exact hindi na ito ang modern world na kinabibilangan ni Dianne.

It's a world that she always dreamed off back then that it comes to reality! Yes, the world of his beloved Fictional Character, shocking at the first look, but how would she react in this new world she sucked into?

Would she find the love of her Fictional lover and have a new life in the new world, or try to find a way to go back to his reality by exploring to the unkown and mischiefs of the new world?

Ikaw ba? anong pipiliin mo?

Chapter 09: LUNAMAYAの日誌

I began the inspection of the books on the left side shelves.

"Ohhh!!!"

I involuntarily shouted.

The ship is indeed a gold mine.

As I scanned through the first book, it would seem that the previous owner of the he ship collected a lot of magic books, and written here are books about magic.

Looks advanced from the way it was written: (MAGIC TRANSMUTATION), (MAGIC ENGINEERING), these seem a bit complicated for an average mind like mine but I should be able to decode it in a due time.

I am certain that the author was definitely from another world. As the characters used in the writing was in Japanese.

Although I am not Japanese or a Japanese Language teacher, I did study the language as a hobby (anime, manga, games and light novels you see…). Some terminologies written in Katakana are going to be hard to decode but as I had mentioned earlier, it should be possible in due time.

"It would seem that the previous captain was Japanese... Look like I am not the only one who got transmigrated to this world..."

I should start practicing basic magic. Although most of the books were advanced magic, it did have some basic magic books on it, it also had alchemy books on it too.

I have scanned through the last shelf to the left, so it was time to read the books on at the right.

There were a lot of book here but there were some books which were quite unique, they were bound by leather. When I opened one of the books, it had "Lunamaya's Journal" written on it.

"…So Lunamaya was the name of the previous Captain."

The journal seems to be well written, just like the hand writing in the magic and alchemy books.

"When my family died with the espionage hunting.... decided to go for a journey."

"Looks like my family had secretly stashed a ship they could not decipher and lead to the suspicion that they were spies from another country or were harboring spies."

It would seem that the previous owner was from a well off family, but something happened that lead to the espionage hunt and they were victims... or perhaps it could be the truth without the knowledge of the previous captain... anyway they were killed.

Since she was had escaped the fate her parents received she instead used the ship to travel around.

With a lot of sessha and degozaru in the text I should surmise that the Japanese was from a time of the olden Japan… perhaps simply a quirk of the previous captain…

"Ha?"

"It's empty." I scanned the entire journal from the same shelf, but they were all empty. Judging from the sheer numbers, she must have kept track of her journey. There must be a mechanism to read it, but as of the moment it should be beyond me...

"Well, judging that the previous captain was a practitioner of magic that must be the trick."

...Magic.

A lone male was sent to another world. 

Was he summoned as a hero he did not know. 

After all he was alone in a beach, he does not possess any cheat abilities, or powerful equipment. He has nothing  but his white t-shirt, black pants, back shoes and a ship...
