We arrived at The Royal Park Hotel in Tokyo just in time for breakfast. I am sharing a room with Eujin unnie which was always been my roommate since our trainee days. Not until today because each one of us has separate rooms on our dorm in Seoul.

Eujin unnie just pinch me on the cheeks. After making their goodbyes to me. I went straight to our room and get the camera from my luggage and filmed myself for our reality show.

As Li Xianyu watched the video, thousands of kilometers away, Li Peiyun and Aoki Yui met secretly in the private room of an upscale nightclub.
"I think you look better in the miko garb the first time we met," Li Peiyun said, looking at Aoki Yui, sitting opposite him who was dressed like a normal girl.
"I have watched an anime from your country, Inuyasha. You look a lot like the heroine in the miko garb. That was the goddess of my childhood."
"Then I am your goddess?" Aoki Yui smiled.

Alan clapped his hands in a pleading motion and bowed down in a Japanese traditional way. "Please! Senpai! Just one day! The ticket is free and so is the outfit! You have the closest measurements in my friends list as the member!" 

"When did I become your senpai? And how exactly did you get my body measurements? I don't remember telling anyone about it. Actually, no, I don't even know my own measurements." He rubbed his temples as his friend continued persuading him.

"Then, I can also call you, Oppa! I checked the size of your shirts and then did a whole research on me own. Anyways, your height and body figure is the most fitting for this character! Please! At least I didn't ask you to wear a girl's skirt or something~ Think of this as our last gathering before graduation~" 

Alan didn't back down, despite knowing what Lin Que's response was going to be. 

"I'm not your Oppa. You just jumped from Japan to Korea. Give me three strong reasons about why I should consider it." He crossed his arms and was ready to reject each of them.

"Uh... I got it!!! First reason, your body is as fit as Lee Min Ho's sexy fire body that anyone would die for. Trust me, girls would lick abs like those and act like magnets to a fridge if they saw that body. If you wore Tuxedo Mask's outfit from Sailor Moon, you would make it to Hollywood with no doubt at all."

Lin Que chuckled and answered with his deep, hoarse sounding voice, "Lee Min Ho is much hotter, especially from that Heirs drama. I only admit to being fit, but to get to his level? Hah, no way, and I'm not interested in becoming a celebrity. Besides, I like my abs clean and what does this have to do with his abs? That outfit covers you from head to toe. Next reason."

Alan snapped his fingers and said, "Second, you're still single and you've never had a girlfriend before. If you go, it'll be one of the rare chances for you to get it on with some girl. You'll never know~ Maybe you'll meet the right one for you. I don't believe that you never felt electrified by any girls before!"

"Well, I haven't. I also don't believe in the love at first sight kind of thing. Never have I ever stopped in the middle of somewhere just to look at a girl. That's impolite and would make people feel self-conscious about their appearances." He reached for his water bottle and twisted the cap off.

While drinking from the bottle, Alan walked to the side of his desk and pursed his lips. With one finger, he interrupted Lin Que's sip and took the bottle away.

"Lin Que, don't tell me that...you are into...men. If so, then I can only sacrifice myself and surrender. Take one for the club! It's okay, buddy. I support yaoi, so I can definitely accept you!" Alan crisscrossed his arms to hug his body as if he was ready for sacrifice. Hearing his response made Lin Que choke and cough out water.

Alan quickly rubbed his back and handed him tissues, "Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean it! I know you're not into men hahahahahaa. Spare me, bro. But seriously, rumors are everywhere about you being single all this time. With your looks and brain, how could you still be single? Am I right?"

"What's wrong with being single? Not my fault if I'm not interested in dating anyone right now. As for relationship and sexuality preferences, I don't have to clarify it with anyone. They can think that I'm asexual, and I still wouldn't care." Lin Que wiped his mouth.

"You see, if I was a girl and I heard your response, I would cry a whole yellow river. Is this how you shot down girls, hmm? Like what if one of them confessed to you or flirted with you? A huge sigh left his mouth as Alan held onto Lin Que's shoulders. "Is that why you never attended those karaoke meet ups and mix match greets that I scheduled before?"

His lips loosened and a charming smile appeared on his face, "Yes. Exactly my point. Not interested in those dating meetups no matter what you say."

As if an arrow had shot his heart, Alan stepped backwards and covered his chest. "Ugh, that definitely hit a major artery. So, even if a girl seduces you or she asks you out, you'd reject her?"

"Depending if I have feelings for her. I'm still going to clarify that it isn't a date if we go alone." Lin Que tilted his brow upwards, and he twisted the cap back onto the bottle.

"This is why you're single!!! All of us have girlfriends. Don't you feel lonely when we go out on triple dates?" Alan understood his reasonings, but to reject girls without trying is harsh. 

"Let's see... Shirley, Amy, Ashley, Christy..." He started to list Alan's ex-girlfriends out. Almost instantly, his mouth was covered by Alan. "Why are you mentioning those names for?! They broke my heart!"

"Mhmm. And who did you call when your relationships fell apart? The last time you got drunk and almost thought I was your ex, you even tried to kiss me. If you're going to go through a heart break over relationships that last for less than half a year, then why not think about how much you like them before dating them? All these girls, including Jacqueline, your current girlfriend, are all strangers. You accepted them because they were cute looking."

Lin Que presented his perspective to his friend. Alan nodded along as he spoke. Since he wasn't interrupted, he continued, "Everyone has their own definition of dating. Of course, there is no problem with you dating girls whom you feel attracted to, and I would too if I met one. The only difference for me is that I would like to take things slow."

"Slow? Like how?" Alan blinked and started taking down notes.

"Like making your favorite soup. You need to prepare the ingredients before boiling them little by little. Then, you add seasonings until you get the perfect taste. I want to take things at our own pace. If I do meet that girl, I won't jump into the relationship straight away. I'll care for her in my own way."

"And then what?" Alan's fingers stopped typing as he listened to his words.

"Then, like adding sugar or salt or pepper to getting the best taste. Get to know her as a person and spend time with her. Once I find her and decide that she is who I want to be with, nothing can hold me back." Lin Que's gentle smile made Alan smile along.

"So, that's it. Then I wish you luck in finding your Miss. Right. But I have to say that if I was a girl, I would definitely go for a guy like you. I'm exploring around, but likewise, I'm searching for a girl who I really want to stay with. Although I got dumped many times because I refused to go a step further in the relationship, it only showed that we weren't meant to be." 

Alan let out a soft giggle as he figured the reasons why he got dumped previously were quite funny. Just because he refused to have intercourse with them, they got another guy. He found the girls attractive, and that was why he dated them. He believes that attraction comes before anything and first impressions are very important.

"Anyways, go back to that third reason. Last chance." Lin Que stretched and packed his bag.

"For all four years of college, you've never joined a club or campus events. Didn't the president of the yearbook club nag you a few times to hand over some photos because there is literally zero to put in the yearbook? If you come, it'll be an acceptable event to put under a club and you could avoid more headaches."

Lin Que thought about it carefully, 'I don't want to give any solo pictures or selfies either. The damn yearbook photograph could use the camera-shy excuse. Damn, he's right...'

Seeing Lin Que scratch his head like that, Alan knew he hooked him with the right excuse! "so~ the outfit...."

At that time, he watched her approach another person who acted as Tuxedo Mask behind him. The smile she had on her face wasn't towards him. It was a mistake.

Two months later

Second time they met was at their graduation. His brother, Lucas, flew back from overseas to attend his graduation in place of his parents. After taking countless pictures with his brother and some with friends, they left campus. Inside his black Mercedes, his brother shoved several well taken photos and showed it to him.

Just when he was about to answer his regular plain response, the words swallowed back down his throat. He held his brother's phone and zoomed in to the back where he saw her again! Once again, a facepalm landed on his face as he couldn't believe that there could be such timing. He could've gotten her name!

After a few days later, he got off his shift late and realized that he didn't go grocery shopping. Since his fridge was empty, he decided to have his meal at a newly opened Szechuan Spicy Bowl restaurant. 

"It shouldn't take that long to get a seat at this time.." Or so he thought.

When he got there, the place was full and he didn't have much patience since he was alone. Right when he was about to leave, the waiter asked if he minded sharing a table. 

"Sure." 
He sat down across from the girl and ordered from the menu. When she took a few napkins to wipe her nose, he took the chance to thank her for sharing the table.
And there she was with her Beyond Human level spicy bowl...
Although they only exchanged a few words, he found her very interesting. A girl eating at this hour without caring about her weight and her surrounding. She was adorable. 

The clumsy her forgot her newly printed business cards at her seat when she left. 

"Lily Jiang," he smiled. He thought of bringing this to her when he is free, but who knew that they would meet again at the hospital?

"Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, we had received information from the BIS and knew about the traitor Liu Dianchen. He then opened another map and said, "This map shows our exploration routes over many years. These places marked in red have all been searched by us. We used high-tech gear, satellites, and remote sensing systems in searching for the treasure. We found several abandoned Japanese factories, but we still didn't find any trace of the treasure." Ma Jichun sighed. "Alas. Our focus shifted. For a long time, our focus had been on access to international information, investigation of suspicious foreign personnel, and the existence of the treasure."

"Even inside the Secret Service, people hold different opinions. The experts we hired basically spent most of their time trying to find out whether the treasure even really exists," Ma Jichun said. Ryu said to the driver, "from tomorrows onward you don't need to wait for me in front of the school gate you could wait for me 500 metres from the school is that clear, ken niisan"? Ken turned his head toward his young master as he just nodded his head without a word.

At home, Ryu was busying himself with self-study, reading all the words in the history books, he confirmed that he has a talent that for any word he has read he could remember it without forgetting all each of the word but after he finishes reading the book he is totally shocked when he knows about the death of Oda Nobunaga, his past master lord of all Nobunaga samurai's. He felt in his chest so pain, he sweats a lot as suddenly tears dripping down on his cheek. He feels sorrows about the death of his master. Ryu ran towards his room veranda as he suddenly knelt and kowtow toward the moon as he said in his heart," I'm, so sorry master, I couldn't save you from the traitor".

In the middle of his sorrowful wail he didn't know that Yukari, Ryu mother came inside his room without he noticed, he just suddenly feel like someone hugging him from behind and with a soft voice asking," Ryu kun why did you crying, are you missing your grandfather"? ask Yukari to Ryu. Ryu only stays still without a word coming out from his mouth. His mother turned Ryu body toward her as she staring straight into Ryu moist eyes, as she also suddenly dripping tears and she said," I know you really miss your late grandfather because I also have already had the same feeling as you when I lost my son". When Ryu heard her word he was a shock because he didn't know that his mother illness has been recovered back to her real self.  

" Don't worry my little boy", "your mother has been recovered long ago when you been living here for a year and don't worry you always be my boy until my last breath because god give me a second chance as He gave you to me", "He gave me a new life", "you are my son for eternity none can change it".

"You are a blessing from God to me and I will cherish it forever". From the first time in Ryu life, this is the first he felt the warmth from a human being called mother. He totally happy and thank you for giving him a chance to feel a mother love even she is not his real blood mother.

The next day, Ryu wakes up as usual and walks straight toward the car who has been readily waiting in front of the mansion, but before he could step inside the car his mother Mrs Yukari calls his name, " Ryu Kun don't forget your bento boxes, today I cook a lot for you have fun at school okay, as she quickly kisses Ryu forehead.
Ryu shock at first after being a kiss on his forehead, but after that, he smiled happily as he said to his mother," I'll go to school now, goodbye mother," I'll see you soon". Ryu bowed toward her as he steps inside the car.

500 metres from the school, Ryu steps out from his car as he said," thank you Ken Ni'isan". He closes the car door and walked toward his school with a happy smile while he was walking suddenly he bumps into someone as he looks toward the person as the person look backs toward him.

Ryu said to him, " I'm sorry, I didn't focus when I am walking," as he bowed toward the person but the person didn't say anything as he replies back Ryu bowed. Ryu totally like this person etiquette as he said to that person," My name is Katsumoto Ryuichi, nice to meet you,"
"may I know your name please"? ask Ryu toward the person.

As the person said," Oh, pardon my bad behaviour," as he bowed and said," my name is Sakaki Makio ( this guy name, i take it from japanese drama series called My Boss My Hero, one of my favorite japanese drama ), nice to meet you, Ryu Kun. 
Sakaki takes out his hand asking for a handshake as Ryu also grabs Sakaki hand as they both handshake but in different manners when they both let out their warrior aura but others cannot feel it but Sakaki could feel Ryu strong aura.

Suddenly, Sakaki said," you different from the others, I like your way bro, I think you and I  going to be great friends, I never knew there's  a person who same just like me out here in the middle of nowhere", "say, Ryu kun are you a warrior just like me"? said Sakaki. Ryu just smiled as he suddenly shook his head made Sakaki disappoint a little bit, but been shocked afterwards that when he heard Ryu word," I'm not a warrior but I am a samurai". 
Sakaki suddenly let out a laugh out loud as he said to Ryu," good brother, good I like your attitude," will you be my sworn brother"? ask Sakaki, as Ryu just replied back in a flash, Why not, it would be my honour to have you as my sworn brother". Sakaki smiled non-stop as he put his hands around Ryu's shoulder walks together toward the school as suddenly Gojou blocks the 2 brothers path suddenly and said," who are you"? "I never saw you before in my life, this person beside you I know him yesterday, he is our new school member who just joins the school yesterday, but I never knew who was you"? 

" Ah, sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Sakaki Makio, 17 years old I will be joining this school today", Sakaki giving his official letter as a student toward Gojou, as Gojou sensei read the letter and gaze toward Sakaki as he rub his chin and said," are you sure you are 17 years old"? because you didn't look like a 17 years old boy", said Gojou sensei, as for Sakaki he is suddenly sweating non-stop as he said in his mind," shit! is this old man going to catch me red-handed"?
Suddenly Ryu ask," say, Sakaki Kun which class were you will join today"? as Sakaki said," I will join, 3A class", Ryu smiled and said
," brother you and me are in the same class that's going to be awesome", Sakaki shock with this coincidences but he also happy.
" Lets me showed you where is the class are but before that I bring you to principal office okay" Ignoring suspicious gaze from Gojou sensei.
Ryu brings Sakaki to principal office as Sakaki knock and going into the principal office. There he could see the weird principal, Yamaguchi Kumiko 
( this woman over here i take from japanese drama series called Gokusen, both of the charecter i take have the same background coming from yakuza family but they struggled to live like other normal people as they hiding their true identity, i do really they continued this beatiful and hilarious drama to another episodes i really do i love both of this drama )
with her usual sport trousers suit, Yamaguchi sensei suddenly said to Sakaki," please have a seat, Mr Sakaki, real age 33 once has been choose as a leader of the 4th generation one of the biggest Yakuza group but he change his mind and take a lot of responsibility to finish his high school and get his certifications, I really respect you".

Sakaki shock when the principals know who he really was, but before he could react the principals said more," don't worry, your secret safe with me, im also the 4th generation from Oedo Family clan but I also don't want to heritated my grandfather rank as a leader of the Oedo family clan because my ambition is I'm going to be the greatest teacher in the world".

The appetisers had already been sent out to the V.I.P. dining area, and both plates had come back completely spanking clean.  The manager had also reverted that the prince and princess of Monaco were more than pleased with what they had been served, so everything was going well so far. 

He signalled to the servers to take the main courses out. There should be no more than a ten minute interval between courses - five minutes would be too short a time for the previous dish to go down, fifteen minutes would induce boredom and irritation.

Kyungsoo wasn't all too worried about the dishes that he was responsible for cooking. He had enough confidence in his own skills and abilities to know that nothing would go wrong. The one dish that was out of his control was the dessert, which he had reluctantly handed over to chief pattisiere Dok and Eunjung, since this was more their field of expertise. He had made Eunjung bake the red velvet cupcakes ten times over the last two days and personally checked that the quality was up to scratch. Still, he couldn't help but feel a little uneasy.

He poked his head round to peek into the side kitchen where the pattisieres were sweating over their task. 

Everything should be fine, shouldn't it? he thought to himself as he watched them bustle about. 

Eunjung looked rather calm, her hand held steady as she held the icing piping bag over the row of delicate tiny cupcakes. Kyungsoo was rather impressed with Eunjung's flair for baking after what he had seen from her over the past couple of days, but still he never once offered her a single word of praise. It would not have been his style to do so.

He took a deep breath and turned his attention back to his own work. 

Everything's going to be fine. This whole circus will be over in an hour... 

The one thing he hated about working in the hotel business is the fact that you had to be at the beck and call of all these so-called V.I.P. guests who felt as though they had the perogative to order everyone else around like slaves. It wasn't part of his character to bow down to people and pander to their whims and fancies. The last time he caved in to his father's demands and agreed to come work in the hotel, he had splashed coffee in the face of one of the guests because the idiot made him bring up five cups of coffee, each time insisting that the coffee wasn't at a precise temperature of 60 degrees. It had taken the management a rather great deal of effort to appease the guest after that incident, and he never stepped foot in the hotel again ever since. Up until now.

"The prince and princess seem pleased with their food." Manager Kim strolled into the kitchen with a huge beam on his face. He too had been worried after seeing the long list of food allergies that the crown princess had, but it looked as though D.O. was living up to his name after all.

"Good," came the stony reply. D.O. didn't have time to entertain any idle chatter now, he had the next course to start worrying about.  

"How's the preparation for the Japanese tour group?" Manager Kim looked around and asked casually. Besides their two V.I.P.s that they had to cater for today, the hotel was also hosting a huge group of Japanese tourists and that meant the kitchen had to work at double the speed in order to serve up all their meals on time. Besides D.O. and his sous chef, everyone else was assigned to cater to the Japanese tour group, and things seemed to be running on schedule.

The deputy head chef looked up and said, "Everything is going according to schedule sir. We are expecting the tour group to arrive back at the hotel in about half an hour."

"Chef Lee," Misoon rushed up to the deputy chef and whispered something into his ear urgently.

The deputy frowned slightly, before turning to her and saying, "It should be fine as long as the ice is still there. Bring it out quickly, we haven't got much time."

"Is something wrong?" Manager Kim walked over and asked with concern.

Chef Lee shook his head and replied, "No big issue. Misoon reported that our seafood freezer is down, but we always keep our seafood on dry ice anyway and it hasn't been that long since the freezer went down, so there shouldn't be any problems."

Manager Kim nodded thoughtfully. "Ok then. Make sure that the seafood is still fresh before serving, we don't want any problems."

D.O. frowned as he heard the exchange, but still his eyes remained glued to the rack of lamb that was sitting in front of him. Under normal circumstances he would have told the deputy chef to throw all the seafood away and purchase new stock but right now he didn't have the time, and in any case, the deputy was right about the ice.

All he wanted to worry about right now was getting over this royal pain in the ass.

"Did everything go well?" Chanyeol asked the rotund man who was walking alongside him down the hotel corridor.

Manager Kim nodded and smiled. "The prince and princess were very pleased with their dinner, they even sent their compliments to the chef and said that they would be sure to recommend our hotel to their friends in the future." The princess had been especially enamoured by the dainty cupcakes that were served for dessert and both were impressed at the fact that these cupcakes had been possible without the use of any of the usual baking necessities.

"Good. Send my regards to the head chef for a job well done," Chanyeol replied and returned his smile.

He had been sent down to Global Seoul to check on the V.I.P. visit, just to make sure that everything was going smoothly. As they walked down the hallway, all the staff who saw them made sure to greet him politely as they went along. Chanyeol didn't like it when people did that, but as the chairman's personal assistant, his position was much higher than anyone who worked here, even compared to the hotel director, and that sort of a position commanded a certain respect from the subordinates. Even a man like Manager Kim who had been working in the hotel for eons and was significantly older than him in age had to address him formally, which made him even more uncomfortable. 

They were heading down to the lobby for Chanyeol to take his leave when suddenly a young waitress in her black-and-white uniform came rushing towards them. 

"What's wrong?" Manager Kim raised his eyebrows as he looked at the flustered girl.

"Mr Kim, there's been a big problem! One of the Japanese tourists just threw up, and a number of them are complaining of stomachaches after having eaten our food!" she reported quickly. 

An aghast look crossed the manager's face as he looked up at Chanyeol worriedly. Such a problem could not have picked a more inopportune time to arise, when the chairman's personal assistant was here on his rounds. Manager Kim silently cursed his bad luck, before turning to Chanyeol and saying, "I am so sorry, but I will have to attend to this immediately. I believe it should not be a big issue, it is unlikely that it was caused by our hotel's food." 

"I'll come with you, you might need some help," Chanyeol said. 

The manager hesitated for a while, wondering whether it would be wise to bring him along. In the end, he nodded reluctantly, and the duo hurried behind the young waitress towards the restaurant where all the drama was currently unfolding.

Inside the restaurant, it was absolute chaos. 

There were staff members rushing around haphazardly trying to attend to the guests and it was evident that there was more than one person who was looking dreadfully ill and pale in the face. Manager Kim immediately rushed towards the serving captain, asking for details on the situation. 

"We had already finished serving all the dishes and the coffee and tea had also just been served before the first guest complained of stomach trouble. About fifteen minutes later, there were other guests complaining of the same problem, and the most severe of them had to be taken up to his hotel room quickly where it was reported that he threw up as a result of the stomach upset." 

"Have you called for ambulances?" Manager Kim asked urgently. 

The captain nodded her head. "The ambulances will be here soon. The tour group leader keeps insisting that our food is the cause of the problem and is kicking up a big fuss, what should we do?" She gestured over to a tall, burly Japanese man who was standing with his arms folded and ranting angrily. 

"This is obviously your fault! What are you going to do about it!" the man was yelling angrily. The object of his anger was none other than head chef D.O., who was simply standing in front of him with a look of pure disdain on his face and no urgency whatsoever. 

"You have no reason to be insisting that the problem came from our food. We maintain the highest standards of hygiene here in my kitchen and no one has ever gotten ill from eating my food before," D.O. replied cockily, not even batting an eyelid. His cool demeanour only served to enrage the Japanese man even more, and he continued ranting away in Japanese. 

D.O. was not impressed. 

Just after he thought that his problems with the fussy crown princess were over and done with, this had to crop up. It was as though someone up in the heavens just didn't want to give him a break.

When Chanyeol registered who it was who was being shouted at by the angry Japanese, a look of surprise came over his face. 

Isn't that Kyungsoo? What's he doing here! 

If Kyungsoo was back in Seoul, it didn't seem possible that he wouldn't have heard anything. Even the chairman himself had not mentioned anything about Kyungsoo returning, so seeing him hear in the kitchen of Global Hotel was rather unexpected. 

"Is that Kyungsoo?" Chanyeol leaned over and whispered in Manager Kim's ear

The older man jumped when he heard that, cursing inwardly at himself. Kyungsoo had made him swear not to reveal his presence to anyone, but now that Chanyeol had seen him the cat was out of the bag. The thought hadn't crossed his mind when Chanyeol volunteered to follow him back to the restaurant to help, but on hindsight it was a terrible idea. D.O. would undoubtedly give him a piece of his mind when he found out. He nodded helplessly. 

"What is he doing here!"

"He returned not long ago and took up the position of head chef in our kitchen. I requested for his help because our kitchen was not exactly doing very well as of late..." the manager said ruefully. 

Whatever it was that had persuaded Kyungsoo to return, now was not the time to worry about that. Right now, the irate Japanese man looked as though he was about to throw a punch into Kyungsoo's face. 

Chanyeol walked over to him calmly and said in fluent Japanese, "Sir, my name is Park Chanyeol, I am this hotel's representative, may I know how we can help you?"

Kyungsoo turned to look at the newcomer and his face immediately fell when he realised who it was. The Japanese man on the other hand, looked slightly taken aback when he heard Chanyeol speaking in his own language. After he overcame the initial surprise, he immediately began, "Your food is not clean! My friends are all sick after eating your food! I demand an explanation for this! How are you going to compensate us?"

"Sir, I assure you that if the guests are truly ill because of our hotel's food, then we will definitely make the necessary compensations. I sincerely apologise for all this alarm, but I believe the most urgent matter right now is to ensure that all your friends get well quickly. We have already called for ambulances to send them to the hospital where the doctors will be able to take a look at them. Shall we first make sure that they are alright before we discuss what we should do next?" 

It was fortunate that the ambulances arrived just at that moment, and the paramedics came in to take the suffering guests to the hospital. Seeing that his friends were being taken out of the restaurant, the angry man had no choice but to shelve his debate and follow them to the hospital first. 

"Fine, we will talk about this when we return, but I expect a satisfactory response from your hotel!" he said angrily before storming off after the rest. 

"But of course," Chanyeol replied with a smile. 

Once they were all gone, Kyungsoo sat down on one of the chairs and scowled. "Bloody idiots. What makes them think something was wrong with our food? They've been out eating and eating all day!" 

"Still as cocky as ever," Chanyeol patted him on the shoulder and sat down across from him. "Why didn't you tell me you were back in Seoul?" 

Kyungsoo gave Chanyeol a sheepish look and replied, "Manager Kim threw me a challenge and I couldn't resist. Don't tell anyone that I'm back, especially not my father." The last person that needed to know about his whereabouts was Chairman Do, who would undoubtedly try to force him to come back permanently. He didn't want any shackles tying him down. 

"Ya, do you know that because of you, I had to go to the airport and pick up that insufferable fiancee of yours?" Chanyeol rolled his eyes as he recalled how he had waited at the airport for Chaekyung. 

"What fiancee?" Kyungsoo looked puzzled. 

"Seo Chaekyung! CFO Seo's daughter! Don't tell me you forgot about the engagement." Chanyeol threw his hands up in disbelief. 

"Oh, her." He had completely forgotten, not that it mattered. Kyungsoo wasn't about to marry some spoilt, rich girl just because his father wanted him to. That was never part of his plans. 

Chanyeol chuckled when he realised the irony of the situation. "By the way, it's rather convenient that you chose to come back to Global Hotel Seoul to work. Did you know that the hotel is getting a new director of staff?"

Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow and shook his head. 

"She's none other than your future missus, Miss Seo Chaekyung," Chanyeol smirked when he saw Kyungsoo's horrified reaction. To be frank, neither of them had really seen much of Chaekyung before, so even if she was working in the hotel it seemed unlikely that she would be able to recognise Kyungsoo or vice versa. However, having to work in such close proximity with the woman he would rather die than marry would be a nightmare for Kyungsoo, and Chanyeol felt rather smug about that. It served him right for having gone AWOL for such a long time. 

Just then, he remembered that someone else was also working right here in this hotel and this very restaurant. Eunjung had just been complaining to him the night before about how her anal boss had made her bake the same cupcakes over and over again, picking and fussing over the slightest imperfections. Now all the puzzle pieces were falling into place. Looking across the table at a distraught Kyungsoo, Chanyeol couldn't help but chuckle slightly to himself when he realised that the "uptight anal boss" that Eunjung had been constantly ranting about was none other than his good friend, Do Kyungsoo. 

I bet Eunjung has no clue that the boss she hates so much is actually the heir to this entire hotel and more... 

He stood up and started to head for the kitchen. It didn't make sense not to pay Eunjung a visit since he was already here. 

He gave Kyungsoo a path on the shoulder and said, "I won't tell anyone that you're back for now, but you really should pay the chairman a visit some time. He's been quite stressed lately because of Alpha Enterprises. He needs his son by his side."

"That's what you're there for. He already has one son, he doesn't need me," Kyungsoo replied stiffly at the mention of his father.

"I'm not his son. My surname is Park, not Do. No matter how many years go by, that will not change." Chanyeol sighed and shook his head, before walking straight into the kitchen.

The drama «Slayers» was set in the warring states period, albeit it has a little bit of supernatural setting added to it, with hidden powers like magic and qi.
The main character in the drama is known as Xie Xian, an orphan boy who was deemed cursed because of the small horn on his forehead.
He was actually a mixed breed child between a human and a djinn. The djinn were known as the cursed creatures and all of them have supernatural abilities.
The main focus of the story was on Xie Xian's adventure and how he became a vital part in the succession war going on in the Liang Empire.
In the world of «Slayers», there are three major powers-Liang Empire, Chi Country, and Lu State, these three balance of powers held everything and were the most prominent countries.
Twenty years ago, there was a great war between the three states and the Liang Empire had come on top of the other two countries. 
The main storyline also takes place in the Liang Empire. The male lead, Xie Xian was an ally of the crown prince of the empire.
After the great war, the Liang Empire has gradually advanced it's technology and warfare, becoming a force to reckon with but due to this, many greedy eyes are on the throne of the empire.
These greedy eyes are of the princes and their followers!!
The Crown Prince of the empire, played by Na Wen was young and had a wild ambition to dominate the whole world but he had to face off against his own siblings to gain the throne and so began Liang Empire's long and endless resistance conquest battle.
The male lead, Xie Xian would gradually become the centre in this succession war, helping the crown prince to gain the throne, while trying to find out about the mystery behind this parent's death.
One of the major parts of the drama was its characters, they were different from each other but all of them are involved in the succession war one way or another.
One of the characters here was Xu Xiang, the female lead played by Tang Lan. She would seem like a traditional soap opera love interest at first.
She may seem like a gentle, kind and an elegant princess at first but in the back, she has the power to manifest spirits and talk to them.
As the story progressed, she would come to be known as the 'spirit princess' by others and she would also take part in the battles to help her brother, the crown prince, to win the battle of the throne.
There, she will meet with Xie Xian and they will grow mutual feelings for each other but they will hesitate to convey them, because of the status in both of their identities.
Xie Xian especially will try to hide his feelings because he would feel inferior, just because he was a mixed breed.
When he would be running away from his feelings, he would meet the second female lead, Mu Nixuo, played by Lu Xinru.
The character of Mu Nixuo will come as a courtesan at first but she would actually be the same as Xie Xian, a mixed breed and gradually fall for him.
It was another thing that Xie Xian will not grow any feelings for her but in the end of the drama, he will make her his concubine.
In all of this, the character of Cao Xu will come as mysterious at first. He would be shown as an alcoholic illegitimate child of the emperor.
In the first 13 episodes of the drama, people will consider Cao Xu, a side character at best but in the 14th episode, he would be revealed as the one who was pulling the strings in the back.
It would be a major plot twist in the drama as Cao Xu will then come as the antagonist and there would even be a whole episode dedicated to describing his background.
Cao Xu has many shades to him.
From an alcoholic prince to a cold murderer, playing these many shades aren't easy and only time will tell if Ren would be able to play all the shades right or not.

"It looks like you have completely forgotten about me after becoming a big star."
"I don't think so. I was just busy, so it was hard to meet you."
"Busy? I heard about you becoming a workaholic from Chu Min. It looks like he was right."
Li Xinru said as she smiled softly.
It felt like flowers were blooming whenever she smiled. Ren didn't know if it was the effect of makeup or something else but he thought that Li Xinru had grown more beautiful. 
Li Xinru noticed Ren staring at her face and she couldn't help but ask.
"Have I grown more beautiful?"
"Yes, you have."
"It's just the effect of me dieting and exercising, and the effect of Su Ling's spartan like schedule."
Ren laughed when he heard that. He still remembers Su Ling who was the manager of Li Xinru. Both of them share a close bond between them.
The meeting between Ren and Li Xinru was happening after a long time, precisely because Li Xinru was focusing on the whole Asian market.
She was continuously appearing in Korean and Japanese dramas and movies, she has even released her Japanese debut album last month.
She was promoting her album in Japan last week, that's why she was not present at the look test.
"I read the news about you and Xiao Yunhai this morning. I never knew that you would manage to beat a celebrity on that level of a heavenly king."
Li Xinru suddenly said as she giggled.
"It was just trouble in the end but it looks like it will soon die down since both of our agencies are trying to simmer the news down. I just feel bad that we have to delay the announcement of the cast because of me."
The announcement of the cast of «Slayers» was going to be held today but it was delayed because of the online drama involving Ren.
Wheel works production was afraid that the announcement would intensify the online feud. 
That's why they delayed the announcement by a week.
"It's not your fault and everyone is fine with it. So, you should cheer…."
"Dammit!! It was the 5th NG. Can't you do it right for once?? I am not asking you to give an Oscar level performance but at least do the job correctly."
As Li Xinru was speaking, they suddenly heard a shout.
Both Ren and Li Xinru turned around and saw Director Chen Pu scolding Na Wen, the second male lead in the drama. 
Na Wen has his head lowered like he was afraid that he would get beaten up if he looked at Director Chen Pu.
Director Chen Pu was akin to a demon to him currently!!
One couldn't help but pity him seeing that. 
"Na Wen is continuously making mistakes today and it is just the first day, that's why Director Chen is particularly hard on him. He's in a bad mood too. You should be careful."
"Yes, I will be."
Ren nodded his head slowly.


Ren, he was someone with great talent in acting and singing but due to bad luck and some wrong choices, he was only able to become a third rate actor.
