The story revolves around a space station mechanic named Kang Sung-jo who has been working in space for around 15 years for a space program company named Xpwork Space Program. And as one day while everything was going well suddenly the space station was attacked by a cluster of asteroids because of which the space station gets totally destroyed, he ends up getting on an alien planet which is alike to planet Earth & is known as "Zarthix". 
Where he has to face different situations & villains who are working for an illegal Corporation of bad guys.

"Hey look the sun seems less radiant this time" A male astronaut bumped a co-astronaut forearm while pointing out to the direction of the sun.
"Are you gone crazy? When did the sun ever lost his radiance?" The astronaut that been bumped mockingly said.
"No. Look and observe carefully, The sun seems really began dim"
"Your nuts gone crazy. Hahahaha"
"Don't laugh. I'm serious here, Don't you felt that the temperature in the station become unusually cold compared to the normal"
"Was the heat transportation system gone damage again?" A female voice echoed.
"Annie, you also felt it?"
"Yes I thought it was just misconception, after I heard Bob saying that the sun seems lack of its usual radiance right now I'm sure its was not the heat system has problem but rather the sun"
"Annie! Bob!" Victor was horrified call his colleagues and his eyes almost pop out.
"What the fuss victor?" Annie asked.
"Lo-lo-lo-look at the moon" He stuttering said while pointing in the opposite direction which was the moon that was emitting dark mist.
"Your making too much fuss right now Vi-vi-vic" The two was trying to mock him but before they can finish the word. They were horrified at bone chilling scene.
"What was that!"
"Look! There was something there!" Victor shouted again which wake up the two from their daze.
"Th-ht-that! Isn't that the asteroid Ben-nu?!"
"How did it suddenly appear at the back of the moon?!" The three was startled, sweating profusely.

They were informed at the moment when the Catalina observatory discovered Ben-nu was coming to the earth. All of them was already half foot in the grave and they are ready to face any consequence the moment they fly out in the space but right now the three was afraid.  

Any human being that could see what they are seeing will also be petrified,horrified and scared.

The moon, its own was already a daunting view but right now added by the black mist that enveloping the whole moon and the most creepy part was the asteroid Ben-nu whose appearance like a beating heart.

The sun that usually temperate and dangerous is now slowly fading.
The moon that usually shows his one sided face right now was...

The three look at each other in silence. Bob was the first to regain his wit and said"We need to inform headquarters and prepare for the worst"

Annie was still in frighten state.

Victor muttered to himself but enough for the two to hear "Then the one was flying towards earth was not Ben-nu. Then what was it?"

"You mean one more Ben-nu like thing was coming to earth?"

"No, It's more frightening than Ben-nu"
"The current situation was scary enough. Then Ben-nu was there" Victor analyze pointed in the direction of the moon with his forehead full of sweat.

"Hey guys what are you doing there and you Victor why are you sweating so much." Someone called them

But before the three can response the main system of the ISS sounded.

"Warning! Warning! Warning!" The main computer issued a continuous warning.
"Warning all the equipment had been damaged!"
"War......"

"THIS!" 

"Evacuate immediately! This is order." The telecommunication that connects the ISS and the earth sounded.

"A intense gamma ray may hit the earth in four hours" 

As the six people from ISS boarded in Soyuz-TMA. Bob nervously turned his head to the two and see them nodded. Taking a deep breath he said to the commander "Commander! We saw moon and it waaa"
"What was it Bob? Is it natural for you to see moon right?! stop talking nonsense right now. Prepare yourself we are setting off at 10 minutes!" The commander interrupted him and order everyone to ready to take off. 

"COMMANDER! The moon ..!" 
"BOB!" The commander at him shouted.

When the two saw that Bob was being ignored they hesitate for moment and then Anna said "Commander we saw the moon covered by black mist and asteroid Ben-nu" 

Everyone was startled by the words of Anna. They just taught Bob was making fussed and now seeing the face frighten face of Anna and Victor. If Bob only said that they wouldn't believe it but now the three nodded they we're shocked and frighten.

"What do you mean Anna? Explain it to us"
"5 hours earlier the temperature in the station drop didn't you feel it?"
"Yes we felt it but it was normal for the station to drop and adjust according to its data?"
"No, Look at the Sun" Anna pointed out and continued to explain what they saw and happen early.

"So you mean all this time the asteroid Ben-nu was already in the orbit of Earth and we still oblivious about its existent and the one that was detected by CSS was not Ben-nu?" The commander gasps for breath when he heard the full story. His back was now covered full of sweat even though he was wearing a space suit with its own power cooling working.

"We need to report it to the headquarters Commander!"

"Yes I will make the call now"

"WHAT!" When everyone heard the commander explanation they also have the same reaction.

"Why was this happening?!"Everyone has the same thought in their mind.

Right now they just detected a star that possible to have a star quake and it would affect Magnetar outside the Milky way and the gamma radiation from the affected Magnetar might reach earth. That was why they decided to call back the astronaut because once the gamma radiation hit the earth atmosphere even it just less than 1% it would immobilize all the satellite and technology that was being used here on earth for 3 days while those satellite would permanently become scrap.

"The solar panels are in place. Clear skies." Tang Yue took off the Radiant Armor's life support system and threw it to the side to have it recharged. "There's one benefit to this godforsaken land. There's no need to worry about it raining when drying salted vegetables. If I were from Planet Dried Radish, I'd definitely love Mars."
Tomcat found a metallic tray and placed the ten tomato seeds in it. Then, it tore open some medical cotton and soaked it in water.
Tang Yue crawled out of the bulky Radiant Armor and found a spot where the girl couldn't see him. He took off his clothes, draped on an insulation blanket, and once again turned into a caveman on Mars.
Tomcat carefully wrapped the moist cotton around the tomato seeds before placing them in the metal tray.
"Remember to maintain the temperature at 25°C before they sprout. Low temperatures aren't conducive to their germination," Mai Dong reminded. "Seeds which have undergone vernalization only need about three to five days to protrude. Once that happens, you can transplant the sprouts into soil.
"What do you mean protrude?"
"That's when the sprouts appear. You will see the plantule," Mai Dong explained.
Tomcat nodded before placing the wrapped seeds on the rack. Kunlun Station's room temperature was at 25°C. This temperature was very conducive for the growth of tomatoes. Tomcat rubbed its paws in glee for it could soon see adorable new life appear.
Mai Dong let out a long sigh. The initial work for the planting of tomatoes was finally over. The subsequent work was for Tomcat and Tang Yue to continue acquiring water and fertilizer, while they awaited the seeds to germinate.
"By the way, Tomcat. I've just remembered something." Tang Yue hung the Radiant Armor on the wall. "When I was inspecting outside Kunlun Station, I discovered a hairline crack… It's about this long, and is on the left wall of the airlock."
Tang Yue gestured with his hands. It was a length of about 30 centimeters.
"The paint peeled off again? When did you discover it?" Tomcat turned its head over.
"Yesterday afternoon."
"Hairline crack?" Mai Dong was a little worried. "Will there be any problems?"
"Don't worry. It happens often. It's no big deal." Tang Yue shook his head. "The paint on the hull had a hairline crack. There's no problem with the main structure. Kunlun Station is an old building after all. It's normal to have some of its paint peel off."
Kunlun Station was indeed a research station that had some years to it. It had been on Mars for about ten years. Like the United Space Station, it was a product of the early Mars landing missions. Every subsequent Mars landing mission would have the astronauts carry out a series of maintenance tasks on Kunlun Station, changing its equipment, doing upgrading works, or mending. The hull of the Kunlun Station was painted with a layer of white polyester which was used to protect the internal structure. The layer would constantly be damaged, so it needed periodic maintenance.
"How much more paint do we have left?" Tomcat asked.
"None." Tang Yue threw up his hands.
"There's still tape, right? Use tape to mend it." Tomcat sighed. "New for three years, old for three years, patch it and it lasts another three years."
"There's not much tape left… There's only a few rolls. Damn it, were those people eating tape or what? Or was Old Zheng using the tape to play some bondage game?"
"Who could he play with?" Tomcat asked.
"Old Wang," Tang Yue answered.
"Oh…" Tomcat imagined the scene. "Using tape to bind Old Wang's strong-looking muscles. What an amazing scene."
Tang Yue got out the tape from the cabinet, looked up, and saw the girl on the screen appearing down. He smiled. "Mai Dong, you don't have to worry about Kunlun Station. This crappy building is very solid. It has a long lifespan. It can last longer than Tomcat, so it won't break down before we die."
Tang Yue was speaking the truth. There were many things in Kunlun Station, but the thing with the longest lifespan was the station itself. The oxygen and water recycling systems and the temperature control systems were very intricate equipment. They could only be used for about ten years, but Kunlun Station had a shell that could last a hundred years. Tang Yue had no chance of seeing Kunlun Station collapse in his limited lifespan.
Mai Dong nodded.
Tang Yue donned the Radiant Armor again, carried a huge roll of tape, and opened the airlock's hatch.
He was about to mend the crack on Kunlun Station's hull.
"Good luck!" Tomcat waved its paw.
Tang Yue suddenly stopped moving.
"What's wrong with you?"

The United Space Station was the most expensive and complicated research facility humanity had created to date. It had various unique advantages, something that labs on Earth and the ISS didn't have.
Back when the Mars United Space Station project was first approved, it was done under the auspice of being a deep-space laboratory. It promised to provide an experimental facility that could last years. It received funding from basic research grants and research institutes. Originally, Congress wasn't willing to spend so much money building a space station in Mars's orbit, but the Orion spacecraft could be used as a relay for landing.
As it was a distance away from all human interference and noise, the United Space Station was an excellent observation facility of electromagnetic radiation. It was like a silent room in deep space. Every minute sound on the United Space Station was amplified a thousand times over.
The space station was big enough to carry large-sized observational equipment; therefore, projects in cosmology and theoretical physics fought for a spot on the space station. In the Dawn module, there was a very accurate neutrino detector. It wasn't large in size, but it was heads and shoulders above the Super-Kamiokande.
There was also an X-ray telescope. Its goal was to prove Hawking radiation, while also making the Hubble constant more precise.
Also, there was a large-scale spectroscopy remote sensing equipment. As this item circled Mars with the United Space Station, it precisely determined the distribution of water and methane on Mars.

An Unidentified object is about to hit Beijing please evacuate the area of Tongzhou and the area around it you have around 30 minutes to evacuate as many people as possible, an astronaut said.

This just in a breaking news the area of Tongzhou, Beijing and around it is put on a State of Emergency due to an unknown object from space on collision course towards Earth, a Reporter says on the television. Everyone must evacuate the area now to prevent or at least reduce the casualties every government department are helping on the evacuation procedures, the Reporter adds.

With such a case, the government issued the establishment of this new department. This is to cope with the recent events making job opportunities like construction, a high paying job. Second to that is the Agriculture Association and then the Mech companies.

Of course the influx of applicants would have to be controlled, check their health, and then do the proper training necessary for the jobs. Also the person that asked this report is the one leading the department, President Basilio. And the report he asked is the checkpoint bases condition.

"Here they are sir. By now, the unnamed port is 96 percent finished, the Ashton and Black zone bases are just approaching 25 percent."

"Hmm I see, alright then. So tell me, what did the CEO of Stargazer said on our proposed project."

Just by finding the right frequency of a certain object they would be able to cut or either crush the targeted object. Making 'mining materials from space' no longer science fiction.

Now back on topic, Basilio's face was dark. He couldn't refute what that CEO had said. When the plan to build those bases was initiated, most of the black metal they had in their storage was emptied. The satellites they previously had was so big that it had to be at the center of the Earth and the moon. But of course this official is narrow minded. What Basilio really had in thought was those smaller satellites that we're big as the ISS of the old modern era.

Well probably not as big as the ISS but as big as those weaponized satellites in the pseudo-new modern era.

Finishing his report, he called someone over and told that person to deliver it the general. After that he took a very long sigh.

Remembering the time when the fog was still there, and then waking up to see a brand people in confusion then being surprised by seeing two moons.

Due to the Colonel's current state, this person became even more anxious. He thought that the colonel was having health problems, because of that, he became to damn anxious that he just shouted help as loud as he can attracting the attention of the nearby people in the area which in turn made the result of making soldiers come to the Colonel's office, fully loaded.

When the colonel woke up, and noticed the amount of people surrounding him. He became blank minded and asked what's going on, then he was told of what happened.

When he found out that the small injury he had in his forehead was because ha landed in the floor head first, he immediately remembered that a person banged his door at that moment.

He asked for that person's identity and he was told that it was a rookie messenger, so that person's experience is still quite immature.

When he found out that it was a rookie, he cursed in his heart, "Damn! Even if your a rookie, couldn't you even knock before entering!"

In all these years (probably more than 100 years exactly), The Philippines have finally left its development state. Debts - paid, Economy - booming, Military power - In the worlds top 10 strongest countries.

The country had achieved heights no one ever saw and now, one of the worlds leading countries in technology advancement. Achieving Nano-technology to the third leader on the start of the intergalactic missions.

The next day, the newspapers were filled with reports of so many energy companies getting sued by the government.
The allegations were also listed and the list was too long. Alexander had purposely made all these things public. Now the companies would try to hide or manipulate things. Ghost had his eyes on them so the more they mess the more proof he would have against them.

They will change the governments of those countries. I will not let some corrupted people sitting in their air-conditioned rooms destroy the lives of poor people and children who already have nothing." Alexander sternly ordered.
Alexander knew how corrupt these governments could be. After all, he had faced it first hand in his first life. If they could stop a cancer drug from getting release then he could only wonder what else they must have done.
"Alright, I'll get to work. By the way, some countries are getting agitated by your increasing might. They might join hands." Howard warned.
"Let them play their games. By the time they will realize that they are just small pawns on a chessboard. It'll be too late."

Alexander had created new spacesuits for astronauts. They looked more like steel armor without any weapon. He was going to the moon himself with a lot of miniaturized items.
First, he would put a new space station in the orbit and from there they'd go to the Moon.
"Alright, I'll be back soon, Dobby. Make sure you keep an eye on the Energy company case." Alexander said. In his absence, Dobby was going to be doing the work of the President.
"Alright, Boss. Though do tell me why you are doing all this? You could just do all this with a snap of your finger." Dobby asked.
"Because I am not doing this for myself. You must understand that humans are selfish creatures. If I do everything for them then they'll start taking it for granted. They must earn their worth. I am only showing them the path." He explained.
"Remind me of never debating with you. You seem to always have an answer." Dobby joked.
"My friend, I can understand. I feel the same when arguing with Olivia." He patted his shoulder.
Dobby chuckled and left. Alexander moved to get into the spacecraft. Now, the launch of Spacecraft was not dependent on weather or other factors. It was just a matter of doing it.
Alexander was going with 5 more people. And one of them was Amy. She wanted to see the moon. Although she could have gone there on her own, but she was too busy. Now that Alexander was going, she took the chance. She also wanted to spend some time with her favorite person in the world.
"Alright, everyone. Let's get this bird flying. Mission control, we are ready to go." Alexander said on the communicator.
Soon they received a go from the control room. Alexander pressed the button and the aircraft was dragged at a very high speed and shot towards the sky.
It was really a different feeling going to space in an aircraft. The thrusters lit up and they appeared at the first location, Low Earth Orbit.
Alexander wore the suit and got out, he didn't need it but his actions were being seen on Earth live. There was no safety harness as the suits were highly maneuverable. he took out a small toy-like thing from his pocket and placed it in front of him.
He moved some steps back and suddenly a huge structure appeared. It was the new UNSS(United Nations Space Station).
It looked much more high-tech and it also had an artificial gravity disk where all the living quarters were. One of Alexander's passengers was supposed to go to the Space Station and start living there until the staff from ISS migrated to it. The new space station wasn't just a research unit but also a crazy powerful communication satellite. Its helpfulness would be realized when the Mars missions will begin.
Alexander returned to the spacecraft and headed to the next destination.
"Glanpa, can I make a movie in space?" Amy asked.
"Sure, sweety. But you will need lots of safety precautions. My technology may make it easy to roam the space but it is still a very harsh place." He warned her.
"Oh, I will make sure everything is well planned," Amy replied and started to draw her plans. Amy was a big name in Hollywood nowadays. She was famous for hiring lots of enhanced people and making filming easier. For example, she had many superhuman stuntmen, shapeshifters, and also her prodigy, the Illusion Man. He could create any kind of holographic illusions. It saved a lot of money that would have been spent on VFX.

Night. A regular night.

Plain and cloudless.

Black from the deficiency of the sun with slightly bluish violet hue at the edges due to the scattered blue light emitted from the opposite end of the world. The stars were twinkling in the black void with a crescent blue moon in the centre.

Under this cosmic infrastructure, in a clearing over a forested mound laid an old forgotten temple. Empty, devoid of a living soul. Although, the same can't be said for the shabby rundown graveyard surrounding it's perimeter.

Still, the remaining holy power of the long lost shrine, purified the evil stench of the rotten dead preventing the birth of a poltergeist. So in the end, we all can safely assume that the place is devoid of a being capable of producing mechanical force.

Bamboos and cedars lining the broken walls of the temple added to the eeriness of the courtyard. A warm July wind blew through the woods. The crickets started to chirp after being roused by the wind. The loudness slowly increased as more joined the rhythm. After some time, they even became tired. So the silence returned.

A boy slowly entered the forlorn compound through a grassy path. The boy seemed to be in his early teens, lean and tall. He wore a regular pink polo shirt and black jeans with a lighted miner hat over his head.

Now then, who was this young man? Why did he come to the ruins for? Stargazing?

Well, the boy was Hritik Saeed, a regular high  school student. Orphaned when he was six months old, he was under the care of his grandmother. She died of lymph node cancer after a long struggle of 10 years, leaving him under the care of an old maid and the local priest.

The old maid left her service when she found her long lost son. He ran away from his home in his early twenties. He came back to take his mother back with him. The maid wept with joy and left with her son. Tired of the jeopardy, he applied for a high school in the city and sold off his property in the village. Leaving behind his predecessors urns under the care of the local priest, he rented a house in the suburb.

The reason for which he frequented the godforsaken place has actually got a long back story. The weak frail looking teen has got a couple of secrets unseen to his friends and acquaintances.

Pen and paper said that he was a below average child with mental deformities. Poor grade, slurring incoherent speech, dyslexia, muscular dystrophy and, in short, a born loser. The fact that he got into the elite school due to his handicapped status was well known. He was frequently bullied and treated with contempt.

Moving on to his real identity, he was a complete insane biological unit ever born in the world. There was no doubt that he was a prodigy. If any doctor tried to understand his genius complex brain, he would lose his sanity from the intricate reasoning and conflicting outcomes.

What made him a prodigy? Did he win the spelling-bee award for 10 consecutive years? Did he come first at Zoogle Innovation Meet? Was he an inept athlete or academician?

No, none of them.

What made him special was actually related to all of them! He had inept knowledge in all the subjects, his physical strength was off the charts, his skills made him strong enough to knock out an opponent three times stronger than him and most importantly he lacked any openings. A cold phlegmatic gentleman under the guise of a fool. A genius never seen by the world. *dramatic sounds from some classical opera*

His feats lay far and wide. For example, he hacked on to the server storing the encrypted data on the ID cards issued by the government and decoded the data. He stored the data in his external hard drive. It was so very sleek that the technicians are still unaware of the fact that they had a data breach.

He had also made a model for cryogenic engines for a spaceship to send humans on Europa, a nanobot blueprint to fight cancer cells, a non-toxic compound analogous to chlorophyll which can be used to produce oxygen from sunlight in a laboratory with 88% efficiency. Though he never made them public.

It wasn't that he was shy. He just simply hated coming under the limelight. He loved being a normal bullied high school kid, knowing that he can easily break a few bones of the strongest kid in their class, who was scouted by the national kickboxing association. Well, as people say, ignorance is bliss.

Nevertheless, even a black hole would have its end. It brings about its own destruction by means of particle and antiparticle pair interaction and emission of Hawking radiation near its event horizon. The energy is released, decreasing the mass of the chasm.

Similarly this extremely bored boy's mind has given rise to an extreme segregation of polar personalities to cope up with his bubbling potential, a lot like Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. One time he would be a sweet and naughty school boy and during another, he would be a sly hacker who plans to throw the whole world in chaos. Not exactly 'overthrowing the world' but something similar. The thing which this villainous mind wants is beyond the perception of a regular human.

So we move back to the past situation …

The boy walked towards a large tomb. The marble obelisk has worn down from weathering. He pushed the loose stone cover over the grave, it moved aside with a low grumble revealing several electronic equipment - radars, transmitters, receivers, panels, circuits, battery and numerous others. This was his storehouse.

As this graveyard was abandoned centuries ago, most of the graves had been robbed. The empty compound is now used by Hritik as his hidden laboratory. There were other tombs in there containing similar junks and inside the basement of the temple, he had made a chemical laboratory.

He pulled out some of them. Sitting on a nearby tomb he went to tinker with the circuits. He quickly wielded the wires, embedded some components. Pulling out a laptop he connected a usb from one of his tweaked transmitters in the port.

Most of the equipment was actually very costly, he had a tough time trying to salvage the dump yards and stealing some sophisticated machinery from labs and factories in the military bases. As he says, 'Everything is fair for the sake of science.'

He started his real job. He typed in some parameters in his laptop.

' … establishing links with transmitter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 … network established.'

The five transmitters were placed at the four corners of the compound with the fifth one at the top of the spire of the temple. The five apparatus are working synergistically to form a large array. The large array is capable of hijacking any radio receivers at a distance of 1500km, be it an military drone, aircraft, missile or satellites.

Hritik wasn't some petty scientists, he aims for the stars … umm … literally. So, his current goal was to hijack the International Space Station as it will fly over his location within a few minutes at an altitude of 400km. Of course, he isn't some petty villain; he has got a huge plot. This was just the beginning of his conquest!

He turned off the light on his hat and looked at his laptop.

'Globe FM detected…

Ence5556 detected…

AstroBoy002 detected… 

RX-78-2_Gundam detected… '

Lots of receivers have been detected, though neither of them were from ISS. Suddenly a new signal appeared which made his lips curl with a malicious smile. He looked up in the black sky, one of the shining dots seemed to be moving across the southern sky diagonally at a fast pace. Faster than stars but slower than burning meteors.

"Aahhhh … there you are!! Come to papa. He he … " He pressed a key.

'Alternate link formed, estimated time before link breaks, 3 min 4 sec 2 ms.'

'Encryption detected.'

He continued to type in. He could easily hack into the Controller Room but the real problem was that he needed some customised data which required direct tweaking of the on board machinery. He basically needs to install a spy bot in its core system along with a couple of other codes.

'Network decrypted.'

'Opening root inventory. File uploading started…'

'Status: 2%... 7%... 43%... 89%...'

'Integrating codes with the core system… '

'Connected.'

He quickly set in a timer. The devices would take some hidden readings, store them until it comes within the field of his transmitters and ultimately deposit the valuable data within the 3 minutes it is going to have contact with his array within one of its time period.

'Data collection ongoing …

He turned off his laptop and breathed a sigh of relief. So it was done! The first phase of his plan was a success. He quickly stashed his equipment within the tombstone cum storage and left the compound whistling jovially.

As he walked through the grassy path which leads his house in the suburb at the foot of the mountain to the temple, he turned on the light and pulled out his notebook along with the pen stuck to the front placket of his shirt. This diary is filled up with his current stats and achievements.

"ISS hacked"

He quickly wrote it down on the ledger.

Entering his run down apartment, he sat on the table to complete his homework, writing a unique poem in contemporary Victorian pattern. Every student was given a unique theme. He got the theme 'night'.

He went through the notebook once, carefully writing the piece. It took him twenty minutes to come up with satisfactory results. A smile appeared when he read through it.

Extremely vulgar and perfectly bringing out the nature of an adolescent kid. On second thought, it would be fit for some truants in their late teens. Well, what would a regular fifteen year old kid write?

This threw Hritik in a dilemma. His innate writing qualities were naturally very high, unfit for maintaining his lowkey status. So he had to downgrade his writing to a great deal. As people call it - 'bastardization'. Nevertheless, he always adds vulgar ideas to maintain an overall negative impression of teachers on him.

Most of the students thinks that he is too dumb to realise what is good or bad. It was actually good, his subtle vulgarity kept away the elite good-natured students and his plebian and dumb demeanour attracts the school bullies. A perfect maxima of screwed up student life!

About 15 mya, there used to be a thriving colony of humanoid extra-terrestrial species far more modern than present human inhabiting Mars. Sadly, their clash with the Cosmic Imperial Army gave rise to hell. Ultimately, after a war of 1000 years, the race lost.

Nevertheless, one team of their scientists created a system to save their endangered gene pool and sent the system to earth secretly. This system injected the encoded forms of the genes in the precursor of primates, waiting for the genes to refine themselves in the course of evolution and again bring back the unjustly culled race to life. In the meantime, the system has been protecting the Earth from the clutches of the Imperials.

Back in the present, a boy was born with the noble genetic configuration, a neo human or the first 'Revealed One'. He will bring the justice for his ancestors, taking down the Imperials.
Of course, he isn't alone. He will come across a lot of friends and foes in the way. Each of them with their own specialities - magicians, espers, engineers, arsonists ... His journey will lead him to the heart of the system and then to the black sky beyond the horizon.

The end of the world came suddenly and quietly one day. It came with a flash, though not many creatures actually saw it. The world was bathed in invisible light projected from the depths of space, projected by Earth's would-be conquerors.

Potent gamma rays flooded the entire planet. In a split second most life had dropped dead immediately. It was a clean and precise strike. One minute the world was bustling with activity and life, the next trees withered grass browned and animals fell to the ground. Some were fortunate to live through the massive influx of energy, though few would live long as cancer and scarce resources would take care of them. Most likely before the spaceship ever came into orbit.

Zandra worked for the U.S. military on a Black Project under the Sandra Mountain Range. An unacknowledged project by the U.S. government meant to supersede atomic/fusion bombs as the threat-deterrent of the next century. The goal, a machine meant to manipulate gravity and matter itself.

Typing out calculations for the most recent test to create an artificial gravity well she rand her fingers over the screen of her computer. The old CRT monitor always seemed to attract dust from the static that built on its glass. She had to work with old equipment since last year ever since congress had limited the budget for military spending and the last negative-energy pulse fried half the computers in the lab.

"Zandra, could you get those calculations to me soon? I want to try and fire the well up once more before we shut down the reactor for today." said a deep voice over the intercom. Andy Broha, project lead. A magnificent mind, part of the reason she took this job. "I'll try to finish up quick, but the readings seem off. I might need to run them --" Zandra could barely finish before alarms began blaring all throughout the lab. "Andy? Andy what's that? Those aren't containment alarms did we just get hit? Andy? Andy I'm coming out." Zandra frantically tried to connect to the main lab through the intercom.

Zandra went through the release procedure to open the vault-like door that kept the simulation chamber separate from the main lab only to hear [WARNING: GAMMA RADIATION CONTAMINATION IN LAB. AUTOMATIC QUARANTINE IN PLACE. SCRUBBING PROCEDURE IN PROCESS. PLEASE WAIT] She was dumbstruck. "Did someone drop a nuke out side? What the hell happened?"

Hours later Zandra was finally able to exit the simulation chamber. She had tried and failed multiple times to communicate through the intercom and she was nervous to learn what had transpired. Palms sweating as the vault-door swung open she was not prepared for what she saw. Bodies. The bodies of everyone in the lab all dead. Some looking like they were still silently at work, frozen in time. Others sprawled out on the floor. She puked at the sight of it all.

Zandra rushed to a terminal only to find it dead. All of the computers in the lab were dead. The only electronics that weren't affected were the ones in the simulation chamber, and the heavy duty testing equipment. She had no way to know what had happened outside without going out there herself. Zandra steeled herself and found a radiation suit and a Geiger-Counter that still worked. Thankfully when she turned it on there was very little reading she got from inside the facility.

"Oh my God" Zandra couldn't help but cry out as she looked out at the dead wilderness beneath the mountain range. On the way she had seen countless dead military personnel. No survivors. No wildlife. Nothing. Worst of all everything still carried immense amounts of radiation according to her counter.

Zandra's mind reeled at the sight of it all. The Earth had been scorched, not by a nuclear explosion or fallout. No this was akin to a gamma-ray burst that might occur from a supernova. She looked into the distance with a thousand yard stare. Who knew how many people had survived that? It could be only her, everyone else died in the Black Site and they were under a mountain.

She slowly went back to the lab and sobbed. Hours later she began a mind-numbing operation that she was ill-prepared for. She had to move all of those dead bodies out of the lab before they rotted.

A mishmash of electronics lay before Zandra on an office desk, she had collected them all from every piece of equipment she could, slowly testing which ones hadn't been damaged by the radiation. It was a slow and grueling process but it helped to numb her mind.

She had tested everything she could with the Geiger-Counter, and to her dismay found that the water and food in the base still had some radiation in them. The air in the base and all of the lab equipment was neutralized, but she would be slowly poisoning herself if she ate the food. Sadly, there was no food outside the base to be eaten.

Very few of the vehicles worked. Most of them had been fried and even if they did work there was far too much radiation outside to go travelling, so she was stranded here unless she could communicate with the outside world. Which is why she was testing electronic components, so she could repair some of the satellite antennas on the base.

Zandra finished soldering her patchwork job into place and booted up a laptop she had repaired. "Yes! Oh thank god some of the constellation is still up! Now let's see who's still out there." she went back inside of the base and attempted to reach out to the U.S. Military or the Government.

"This is military research site Beta Zed Nine communicating all known open channels. I repeat This is military research site Beta Zed Nine communicating on all known open channels. A large gamma pulse has hit the site and contaminated the entire surrounding area, please respond." She continued to send the distress signal out in hopes of getting a response.

Several weeks went by with Zandra slowly trying to repair functionality to the base before she finally got a response.

"Beta Zed Nine, this is the ISS we read you loud and clear. Glad to hear from the ground again, you're the first signal we received after our repairs. We... have to inform you that the gamma pulse that you mention is not isolated to your site. It hit the whole planet. Also, we're not faring well up here either. We weren't caught in the direct beam but the whole crew has radiation poisoning. We're probably not going to make it much longer. We do have measurements made of the pulse as well as some information from NASA before the pulse that might be helpful. Is this a computer or a phone connection?" A croaking female voice replied.

Zandra scrambled to her laptop "ISS, this is Beta Zed Nine this is a computer connection. What kind of information is this?"

"You'll want to be sitting down for this"

Zandra slumped in her chair tears streaming down her face as she looked through the information on her laptop. A "rogue asteroid" had been detected by NASA entering into the edges of the solar system a few days ago and they were trying to come up with a response to it after they realized it was headed towards Earth. According to the calculations made by the crew of the ISS it was from this "asteroid" that the pulse originated from.

"So... Aliens. There's only one way for a pulse that powerful to be produced. A supernova, or technology. It's too coincidental that right after it appears precisely from its location a gamma pulse wipes out life on Earth."

"FUCK!" Zandra yelled hurling her laptop across the room.

She felt so raw. Everyone she knew was dead. The world was poisoned. Aliens were on their way towards Earth. Even if she hid away all of her food would slowly kill her. She was doomed, Earth was doomed.

Over the next few days she hazed in and out of clarity, attempted to commit suicide multiple times, and barely ate. Zandra just lay there on her bed staring up at the ceiling blankly. Thoughts roiling in her head, deep hatred burning in her chest. Finally she had a monstrous thought that just wouldn't go away. She was a scientist, a weapons researcher, working on the most destructive weapon in history trying to harness gravity matter and time itself. Why not throw caution to the wind and try to finish the weapon before the aliens got here?

Zandra slowly got up off her bed, eyes burning with a passion that had never been there before in her life. She went to work.

Zandra spent nearly one year working on her project. Every so often she would head out into the world and bring back materials from other black sites she knew the locations of not caring for the high radiation she exposed herself to.

At this point she had finished what was the original goal of the project. A gravitational warhead that could be inserted into conventional rockets. Rockets she simply procured from the other black sites. She had even been able to use them as she found foreign satellites entering Earth's atmosphere. No doubt from the aliens. She blew them up with no remorse.

However, these interactions left her to realize that whatever was coming was far bigger and she would need a much more powerful weapon. So she set to work on that too. She didn't have much time to work on it but she realized something while working on the gravitational warhead. That time was warped around the warhead as it went off, and this caused a spacial shearing that reverberated around it and if powerful enough could echo for a short while. If she could just harness that shear effect might be enough to rip apart space itself around Earth's alien invaders.

A feeble woman stood back from her work. She had a bald head and splotchy skin, blood stained across the right arm of her jacket from all of her coughing. Earth's last warrior, body broken down from radiation poisoning and the energy given off from her gravity bending experiments.

"Alright, finally finished. I'm not really sure if it works. But I don't have any more material left to make another one. And I'm pretty sure I can't go outside again to get more rockets." Zandra said as she talked to herself.

As she admired her work alarms started to blare as she saw a shape burning through the sky. She quickly pulled out her laptop on the spot and started to arm every last one of her rockets as well as her final creation. Aiming a few of them towards the dark satellite that hurtled towards her and reading the rest for the ship she knew was above her planet.

"Now or never, please work" Zandra initiated liftoff and a dozen sleek cylinders of death carried off into the sky.

The dark satellite was struck down by two of the gravitational warheads. landing at the base of the mountain where it exploded sending tremors through the ground and knocking Zandra off her feat. She didn't care she only watched as her last hopes fired into the sky bright and shining.

Aboard the spaceship a tall and elegant figure stood looking out at the planet below, raging after another satellite sent after the retched animal was shot down again. Its primitive weapons were surprisingly destructive. Yelling at the crew around it for another volley it looked up with a start to see 10 bright stars aiming right for the ship. The animal had sent them a present.

A volley of alien ammunition found its mark on the warheads at the front but after it detonated the space around it warped and curved the rounds away from the ones behind it. Even lasers sent towards them had the same effect the gravity bent the light around the missiles behind. After volley upon volley were sent two gleaming suns exploded on the right side of the ship.

The elegant figure breathed a sigh of relief, the damage was smaller than expected. The first missile had caused great damage, but the second seemed to be a dud. The next moment the figures face contorted as it watched space collapse and rip apart, matter burn, time distort, and finally reality itself torn asunder.

A shock-wave went out, faster than the speed of light. Reaching the ends of the universe in seconds. The physical laws of the universe distorted and reality itself collapsed back in on itself. Zandra simply watched it all from below as her consciousness faded.

After the destruction of Earth and humanity's enslavement Zandra works alone to destroy the current balance of the universe. 
After sending everything through a new cycle of Rebirth she must fight her way through a new and more mystical world.
