Main Character, Male, Aged 18, barely escaped from the kingdom when the rebels had managed to subdue the guards and massacred nearly everyone inside the keep, including his parents and his twin sister.

Their reasons were unclear but this would be part of the Hundred Years War that raged from that era. Pillaging and looting seem to be a common practise among the rebels and villains as they took advantage of the dire situation that ravages throughout Medieval England during that period. 

(Heather Lanford) 
Prince Audemars' long time childhood friend, aged 17, that he had stumbled across somewhere in the wild forest, together with the rest of the escapees when Prince Audemars escaped from his burning keep. 

Heather was running away from the kingdom together with the Levi's. Her parents were deceased some years back and were 'adopted' by the Levi's as both the Lanford's and Levi's household were close-knit and can be considered as brothers. 

(Ben Chowdry) 
Male, aged 30, one of the survivors from the Kingdom of Darlington. His main profession was as a carpenter. 

One evening, while he was securing the fallen branches and logs with some twine before hailing them back to his woodshed, Ben noticed a horde of rebels armed with weapons and burning torches making their way towards the kingdom's gates. 

Ben's family was putting up in a makeshift woodshed some distance away from the kingdom during the day so that he and his wife could keep an eye on their children while they worked in the fields nearby. 

Upon discovering the horde of rebels that were marching their way towards the kingdom's gates, he quickly gathered his woodcutter buddy of the impending troubles before he ran towards the woodshed where his family were. 

(Crystal Chowdry) 
Female, aged 26, wife of Ben Chowdry. Her main profession was as a livestock herder. 

She would rear chicken, ducks, pheasants, sheep and dairy cows as assigned by her employer. With her knowledge as a livestock herder, she was able to construct coops and pens for the animals that she tended and she was quite independent and proficient at her job. 

With the guidance of her husband, Ben, she was able to perform basic maintenance of the sheds that housed that livestock herself. Seeing her diligent work and independence, the employer she worked for was generous enough to let her raise her own livestock. 

During the first sign of trouble as alerted by Ben, they both immediately bundled their children and took several essentials with them and ran away from their makeshift shed, leaving their permanent home inside the kingdom. 

(Devon Chowdry) 
Male, aged 5, son of the Chowdry's

(Ellen Chowdry) 
Female, aged 3, daughter of the Chowdry's 

(Frank Gardner) 
Male, aged 32, one of the survivors from the Kingdom of Darlington. His main profession was as a woodcutter. 

Likewise, Frank was alerted by Ben when he saw the rebels heading towards the kingdom's gates, armed with weapons and torches. 

Fearing for the safety of his family, they quickly gathered the necessary essentials and ran deeper into the wild forest, away from the path where the horde of rebels came from. 

(Gwen Gardner) 
Female, aged 27, wife of Frank Gardner. Her main profession was as a hunter. 

Skilled with archery and setting traps for wild game, she had taken a path where women would rather not partake. It was a very gruelling and a test of one's patience as a hunter. 

However, for the love of nature and wildlife, coupled with the adrenaline whenever her nooked arrow was aimed at a wild game, she knew to be a hunter meant survival as well as an added advantage, a fighting one. 

She had made her own short and longbow herself as well as arrows which were non-tipped for feathered preys, while some were topped with a stone, bronze or iron heads for a variety of preys. 

After each kill, she would carefully skin them to make pelts and prepare their meat to make jerky so that it could last longer in the wild. 

These pelts and jerky would then be sold on the market within the kingdom during the Lord's Day or exchanged with other goods by means of barter trade. 

(Harry Gardner) 
Male, twin, aged 7, son of the Gardner's. 

(Imelda Gardner) 
Female, twin, aged 7, daughter of the Gardner's. 

(Jack Levi) 
Male, aged 55. One of the survivors from the Kingdom of Darlington. His main profession was as a Blacksmith. 

He was trained in Blacksmithing when he was very young and life was pretty hard. As a Blacksmith, one has to ensure up to 14 hours in the Blacksmithing room, facing the hot furnace and hammering ores into ingots and ingots into shapes of desired tools and weapons. 

During his younger days, he was fascinated at toolmaking and loved to experiment working on pieces of bronze or Iron to make into small knives and farming tools. He would sell them through his friends and neighbours for a small sum of coins. 

That got him hooked into Blacksmithing and he undertook a 24 months apprenticeship as young Blacksmith at the age of 14. Since then he had been tinkering to cater to the townsfolk which required certain designs of tools or machine parts. 

(Kayla Levi) 
Female, aged 54. Wife of Jack Levi. Her main profession was as a Herbalist and Gatherer. 

She was self-taught by her grandmother when she was only 6 years old and learnt to identify roots, herbs and majority of the plants to aid common ailment as well as an ingredient for cooking. 

She managed to learn how to properly cultivate the herbs and plants so that it would not become extinct over time. She had made a few planting beds and she had managed to grow rows of herbs and plants that could supply the townfolks of Darlington. 

With her vast knowledge and green fingers, it proved to be very beneficial for her part somewhere later in this novel.

During the period of 1337-1453, a terrible war broke in Medieval England and that period was called (Hundred Year's War) and a huge turmoil ensued between the England and France with the involvement of rebels as well as opportunists. 

Prince Audemars Macleod, a descendent of King Richard Macleod of Darlington had barely managed to escape with his life when the Manor he was living in was besieged by rebels in 1440, when he was just barely 18 years old.

Let us travel through time and relive the experiences of this young Prince as he was forced to 'banished' and survive with some followers they entrusted their lives with him.

Little did he realise that he was actually living in the past of his future and had no recollection of anything except when he was narrated by a Seer that had been inducted as a permanent resident of the town he founded later.

*This is a fictional world. Most plants, vegetables, fruits and certain animals didn't exist in England that time.

The cloud slowly flowed over the ground like lava, corroding and destroying everything in it's path .Trees died as their leaves dried and withered, buildings collapsed as the metal rust and broke, the tar roads cracked as though it was a bad land during drought, animals and people who inhaled it suddenly died due to instant multiple organ faillures. Nothing which was exposed to this fume survived.  The news spread like wild fire on the web. Scientist from all over the world and the governments of every powerful country joined hands to look into this matter. By the end of November the whole of Tokyo was destroyed. Thousand had to evacuate and rehabilitate while many left the country. But surprisingly on the strike of the midnight hour on New year's Eve the portal stopped spitting out more fumes and by early morning of January 1st the entire fog had cleared leaving behind a devasted inhabitable artificial landscape. A few weeks before the big fight of Tyler vs King Wizard!

A crack. Smell of grease, smoke and gunpowder.

These sounds and smells did not belong in the forest.

The huntress moved toward the sound, her spear in hand. She followed the strong smell through the thick maze of logs and bushes.

Before long, she reached a familiar spot, a small clearing near a ravine. It was a quiet and lively place, divided by a shallow stream of light water. There were so many fish that even a bear cub could catch some with its clumsy paws. But the lightness of the air was being interrupted by the groans of something, or someone, in great pain.

Nidalee hid behind a large tree on the bank of the stream, careful to keep her spear behind the trunk. Across the river, kneeling, was a vastaya with reptilian features. He was holding his shoulder, and though he moaned in pain, it was anger in his eyes. The huntress saw that her long tail was trapped. Huge metal teeth had bitten into his scaly flesh.

A human holding a long, misshapen weapon was standing beside the vastaya. Nidalee looked at the shiny wood around the metal barrel. She had seen one of those before. They threw lethal seeds that easily crossed a target and traveled too fast to be seen.

She stepped out from behind the tree, purposely clattering as she stepped into the foliage. The man turned his head toward her, not averting the gun aimed at the injured vastaya. Her spear was still hidden.

"Well, well. What do we have here?" The human looked her up and down with a hungry look. "Are you lost, honey?"

The hunter knew how to handle such people. Usually humans disarmed before her, seeing only the softness of their features. She remained motionless, carefully assessing the distance between them and holding her spear more firmly. Her gaze was fixed on his weapon.

He chuckled, thinking that wild girl was scared. "Never seen one of these before? You can come look if you want. I won't hurt you," the man said. He stepped away from his prey to show the weapon.

But as soon as the gun stopped aiming at the vastaya, Nidalee jumped from behind the tree. She threw the spear at the human's chest, plunged into the river and was surrounded by wild and fierce magic. In an instant, his features changed: his nails became sharp points, his skin was covered with silky hair, and his bones thinned.

The man couldn't dodge fast enough. The spear pierced his arm and knocked him flat on his back. Nidalee landed on him in the shape of a cougar, thrusting two sharp claws into his fragile clothes. With her front paw, she pressed into the open wound, causing a groan of pain.

The cougar crouched over the man, opening his mouth wide and placing sharp teeth at his throat. The human screamed as Nidalee slowly bit his neck, just enough to make it bleed, but not to kill. Soon after, she released the man's neck and let him see his face, his bloodstained teeth.

Another blast of magic washed over her and she was a woman again, but somehow her sharp teeth remained menacing. Still leaning over him, she stared at him with bright green eyes.

"Either you go away or you die. Got it?"

The hunter didn't wait for the answer. She tore off a piece of the man's shirt and approached the injured vastaya. Within seconds, she disarmed the trap that held his tail. As soon as it was free, the vastaya advanced upon the human.

Nidalee took the vastaya by the arm. The man, who was still paralyzed with fear, saw that it was his chance to escape and crawled away.

The reptilian pulled his arm from Nidalee's grip and began to curse and roar in a language she didn't recognize. Then, in a familiar language, he asked "why did you let him get away?"

Nidalee pointed in the direction the man had gone, showing the trail of blood on the floor. "Let's go after him. If there are others, we'll know. And if they don't leave, they will die together."

The vastaya did not look pleased, but was silent. Nidalee knelt on the bank of the river and washed the piece of cloth that had been torn from the man.

"You called him… human." He spoke with a strange pronunciation. His mouth was very large and his forked tongue trembled between words.

Nidalee tied the clean, damp cloth to his shoulder. "Yes."

"Aren't you human?"

"No. I'm like you."

"There are no vastayas like you. You are human."

Nidalee wrapped the cloth tightly around his shoulder, making him moan in pain. She managed to mask her laughter by using her teeth to tighten the knot.

"My name is Nidalee. And yours?"

"Kuulcan."

"Kuulcan. Tonight my family will hunt. You come with us."

The vastaya reached out, testing the bandage. It was tight, but it didn't stop her movements. He looked at the huntress, standing before him, arms crossed.

Kuulcan nodded.





Percy was sitting by the fire, his face all red, partly from adrenaline, partly from beer, but mostly from shame. He had told the three friends about the wild woman, but they just laughed a lot. One of them decided to jump around the fire with his guitar, singing a prayer for the "Jungle Queen" while the other two laughed and danced.

"Speak quietly, you idiots," he said, only to hear even louder laughter. "She can hear us."

Tired of play and full of beer, Percy turned away from his companions to answer nature's call. The wound still hurt badly and not all the drink in the world would be able to erase the sensation of those teeth stuck in his neck.

When he fastened his belt, he realized that the laughter and singing had ceased. Even the wind had stopped blowing. There were no falling leaves and no swaying branches.

Beyond the dim light of the low heat, the camp was surrounded by pitch black. Far ahead, after camp, something glowed in the shadows. Percy rubbed his eyes and tried to see something in that darkness.

Then, suddenly, the weeds began to sizzle and squeak. The leaves of all the trees and shrubs began to sway. Countless pairs of eyes opened before him in the darkness, and a chorus of feline growls and whistles deafened him.

Percy recognized the emerald green eyes that were closest to him. There was no trace of humanity in them now. The eyes blinked and disappeared, and a voice growled in his ear.

"You have been warned."

There was no time to scream before the sharp teeth pierced her throat, and this time they didn't stop when the blood ran.

We are not even on 1/5th of my planned book, this is but a milestone for us. Kyle is to experience more timelines, meet more people, fight for his ideology and people, protect the people he cares about and in the end, put his mark in the War that Transcends Timelines.

(You can skip this part if you want), I want to tell my readers what has really set me to write this Novel, as any Author we have our reasons. I have had wild fantasies of going back in time and try to think what happens if I did, I also had fantasies of Technology Vs Magic/Cultivation, and many more. I always kept them in my mind trying to find books to read which align with my Fantasies, for this, I have to thank the Book: ''Battle of Third Reich'' for being the catalyst to me writing this book. The Novel is not being translated anymore which made me feel sad, I thirsted for a good War&military novel to satisfy my imagination, but sadly no website could give me another novel to satisfy this. Seeing all this cultivation and Magic crap in the War&Military Genre made me quite mad. After much contemplation in March did I finally start to write a structured program on how to write to the book, what to include and how to end it, estimated chapter length and best writing styles. I have never written before so I also included the possibilities to change or adapt anything in the book(which happened many times xD). Not only has my writing style changed, but my personality as well. I was too overconfident and only reacted neutral to comments and advice, I realised later how helpful the community is making me more open-minded and accept almost anything, I as a person have changed because of that. Now as I look back over these 100 Chapters I can see my own evolution. But also see my fans and readers which came and went in certain time periods, which made me nostalgic thinking back to my beginnings. 

In the end, I just want to thank my readers, for making me evolve my personality, improve my writing capabilities and your support that motivates me through rough times.

After the poem was read, the entire room was quiet.  
Zhang Zian sincerely hoped that he was the only one who understood the dirty poem, otherwise it'd so embarrassing.　　 
Fina and the others didn't understand it, but judging from Richard's smirk and Zhang Zian's embarrassed face, they could guess that it wasn't a decent poem.　　 
"Meow! What does the poem mean?" Snowy Lionet asked.

Zhang Zian had thrown everything he could find, but still couldn't shut the parrot up. He held his phone in his hands, but decided not to throw it after all.
Snowy Lionet frowned, as if it understood. It spat on the ground in disgust. "You guys are disgusting."
Zhang Zian wanted to clarify that he preferred western videos, but he couldn't explain it explicitly, otherwise he'd fall right into Richard's trap. The more he tried to clarify, the worse he'd make himself look.　　 
This made him even more angry, so he pointed at Richard and said, "You've always been dirty. Today, you're dirtier than the gutters. Tonight, I'll spank you and make your bottom red!"

Various people can write the same story and the story will be different every time."　　
Its thoughts wandered, as if it travelled back into the desolate valley and listened to the young lady reading Kong Yiji. In that world, there was no Famous or Galaxy. In that time, it learned that some stories weren't written to make people laugh, some stories were written to expose the darkness and unfairness of society.　　 
Zhang Zian listened carefully, but that type of story was clearly not suitable for online literature.

At the end of the day, Pi was 3.1415926. What was the meaning of the numbers? 
He wanted to ask Meng Li, but he had gone home for the Spring Festival and he didn't have his contact information. Even if he managed to find the information, it'd be rude to bother him when he was with his family. 　　 
Zhang Zian knew that he couldn't figure it out anytime soon, as math had always been his worst subject. He said, "Fine. Pi's story and Pi's story. First, let's talk about the story written by Pi. I'll get to the story of Pi later."　　 
He clicked open Pi's novel, and started reading from the beginning.　
As time went by, the restless elfins slowly became interested, and listened quietly. 
"Wait a minute!" Fina suddenly jumped out her tree, as if its tail had been stepped on. It spoke furiously, "What's up with the A Dream of Two Thousand Years chapter? I didn't visit you, an earthly man, in the middle of the night. That's an insult to me." 　
Zhang Zian thought it was unlikely as well. Pi said it was "70% truth and 30% made up," but Pi clearly wasn't good at making up stories. It didn't do a good job of setting up Fina's character either. He said with an apologetic smile, "It's a novel, nothing more. Don't take it seriously!"　　 
Fina looked away, pouting. "You must tell Pi that this chapter must be revised, otherwise it's an embarrassment to me."　
"All right, no problem. I'll tell it in a minute," Zhang Zian said just to shut it up. He wasn't about to bother Pi, besides Fina would forget about it shortly.　　 
He continued reading.　　
After reading a few more chapters, Richard's duck-like voice was back.　　
"Quack! Stop! I think I saw an interesting comment from a reader."　　 
Before Zhang Zian noticed, Richard landed quietly on the display cabinet behind him, staring at his phone screen. In the Qidian app, the readers' comments were visible after each chapter, the most anticipated comments were at the top. One comment was particularly eye-catching. He wanted to pretend that he didn't see it, but he knew that Richard saw it.　　 
Zhang Zian realized that sh*t was about to hit the fan, so he stretched out his hands to hide the screen, but it was too late.　　
"Don't read it!" he cried desperately. As soon as the comment was read, his life would end.　　
Richard loved rocking the boat, and repeated the reader's comment at the top of its lungs, "Manager Weak Bird, are you fooling FatNa again?"　　 
The room suddenly turned silent, only breathing could be heard.　　
Zhang Zian felt a chill go down his back, as if a bucket of cold water was poured on his head. Two fierce eyes stared at him, ready to rip him open.　　
Fina stretched out its claws. It emphasized every syllable as it said, "Explain to me, how many times you've fooled me? I'm curious to find out, who in hell this FatNa person is?"
Crap!　　
Zhang Zian sat in the reclining chair, but it felt like he was sitting on a thousand needles. 
He complained silently. Which insensitive reader left such a comment? Does he want me killed? If I survive what's about to happen, I'm going to delete the comment and mute the reader.
