On this bright day, I have with me none other than our stunning, bold and lovely Belki Saris, author of the books 'Destine' and 'Between Love and Hate.'

Me: "Welcome aboard with us Madam! Pleasant greetings to you. I am really happy and I am feeling proud to interview you."

Madam Belki: "Hello, Thank you for the warm welcome and I am really happy to be a part of the royal community interview.

Me: "How are you?

Madam Belki: "I am good, thank you. How are you?"

Me: "I am doing great. First and foremost, congratulations on winning the royal book club contest. I am really proud of you."

Winning the royal book club feels amazing. I am in a lot of book clubs and not many of them recognized the members like how royal club does so I am ecstatic, quotes Belki.

What are the reactions of the people around you when you won the contest?

They were not surprised since they knew I love to read. They were happy for me!

When did you first realize that you wanted to write a book? When and what was the first thing you wrote?

I am the oldest in my family and I used to spun stories for my sisters and they used to like it that's when I realized that writing is my cup of tea, basically when I was a kid. (Chuckles) The first thing I wrote was a werewolf story.

"I am a rain, coffee and books" type of a person. I would write in the morning with a warm cup of coffee.

When do you feel satisfied with your chapter?

I am never fully satisfied with my chapters. Every time I re-read my chapter I find something wrong hence it is always an editing process.

Who or what inspired you to write the book and the lead character?

I was inspired by a role play I was doing and the moment I fell in love with the script, I wanted to make it a story.

Burst one myth for us.

"Real writers find writing easy", it is not. It takes a lot of thinking, writing, re-writing, hating it and starting it all over again.

"First drafts don't have to be perfect. They just have to be written" (Belki)

The naughtiest thing you have ever done?

I did a prank call.

What do you want to achieve in life?

I would like to become a published author and my books to be in hard copies.

What is the one thing you learned while creating your book?

Not everyone will like what you write!

What is an interesting writing quirk of yours?

Writing stubborn characters. (Laughs)

Who is your favorite character to write? 

Isabella. She was pulled down to darker place in a slow process.

Where do you pull your ideas from?

Vampire movies or books.

Despite Belki feeling tired in life. She feels unreal because she gained loyal readers when she first published the book.

Belki wishes to convey her readers that living in a toxic relationship are not romantic or healthy. She wishes to spread the word!

This story begins with death. With his death to be more specific. And it truly was a tragedy, for Mathis Bauer was still young when the last breath breezed his lips. No one saw it coming, no one could believe the news. How could Mathis Bauer, the well-known and famous writer, die at such a young age? How could he die at the same day his newest book got published? So much talent forever lost, so many stories that will never be told, that will never be read…

Such words circulated the world of literature immediately after learning about the news of his death, yet what everyone thought but didn't dare to say at loud was how all of them were glad that his death happened only after he finished his book. After all that's all they cared about. His books. His stories. The real tragedy would be if the book hadn't been finished.

Even though it was truly shocking that Mathis Bauer died at the age of thirty, many rumors were spread regarding his death. After the news of him passing away were published, surprisingly no details were given. As a result people started to let their imagination run free. Maybe he got killed. Maybe he committed suicide. Maybe he faked his death. Maybe there was an accident. Reporters from all over the place surrounded his house camping outside it just so they could make a question, just so they could get an answer. But no results. There weren't many people to demand answers from to begin with. Mathis Bauer never married, therefore he didn't have a wife or children. He never had any romantic relationship with anyone. To top it all, he grew up in an orphanage, so he never knew his parents. Due to his extremely asocial personality, he didn't have many friends either. The only people the reporters could interview were his manager, his housemaid and last but not least, his only friend who unfortunately lived abroad. However all of them refused to talk about the circumstances of Mathis Bauer's death.

This only lead people to thinking that this famous writer who was known all over the world for his fantasy books with epic battles and unique story telling, might have died as a result of something shameful or maybe even illegal. There were theories all over the internet, conspiracies and ideas, some even ridiculously thought that he might have been part of a cult or such a thing, yet the truth was far away from something like that. It was also far more simpler.

Mathis Bauer died late at night. He was used to pulling all-nighters almost all of his life. He would go days without sleep, without leaving his house nor even his room for long periods of time. His head would be hid behind his computer screen, frantically typing word after word for hours without stopping once, almost as if he was scared that the ideas would disappear for good if he dared so much as resting for five minutes.

A lot of people gained interest in him because of his first published book "Doomsday is 100 seconds away from midnight". The book was a huge hit. Millions of copies were sold in many different languages and shortly after that, it was adapted to a TV series that also turned out to be very successful. Yet despite all this, the face of the writer was never seen. This situation… such mysterious aura surrounding his identity, made everyone all around the world extremely curious. Such thing went on even after three other books of his got published, all three of them a bigger success than the other. Yet his face remained a secret. At some point during his short lived life he got the nickname of the Vampire Writer after an interview where his manager, a gray-haired man with a permanent smile plastered on his face, said that the famous Mathis Bauer always worked in darkness and hated the sun. But this isn't the only reason behind this nickname. 

With his popularity growing with every book he wrote, and with his success increasing drastically, the number of people who demanded to see his face also grew. Seeing this situation, his manager convinced him that it was only fair for his fans to see his face, so after years and years of mystery, Mathis Bauer finally showed his face to the world. Upon seeing his pale complexion and thin body, the dark hair that were long enough to be tied up and his black piercing eyes, he got branded as the Vampire Writer.

But who would have thought that this Vampire who cherished the night the most, would die young, alone and in darkness?

Mathis Bauer died at night, not long after his latest book got officially published. He didn't like to be disturbed throughout the night, so his housemaid knew to not enter his room. She knew not to knock on the door and not to call him no matter what, so the poor lady had no idea that while she was walking back and forth in front of his room doing the laundry, behind that door that remained more closed than open, the man she worked for was dead. She had no idea throughout the whole night. She had no idea in the morning as well. Not until after one pm, when she knocked on the door and opened it with one hand while holding with the other one a tray with his "breakfast", saw that Mathis Bauer was sprawled on the floor, his face pressed against the dark reddish carpet. He didn't wake up when the tray fell from the woman's hands, a loud clang echoing through the room. He didn't wake up when she ran to him with teary eyes and called his name. Not even when she tried to shake him awake. No matter what she did, Mathis Bauer didn't wake up, for he was actually dead.

The reason behind his death was far from what people thought and speculated. He didn't commit suicide nor he got killed. He wasn't suffering from any illness that lead to his death. So why did Mathis Bauer die?

It was this question in particular that made his already famous personality, the center of discussion for quite a while. Oddly, it was also one of the reasons that made his last book the most sold novel of the decade. For some reason, people thought they would find the answer in the book if they studied it well and looked carefully. But his death remained a secret. In fact, his manager paid quite a big amount of money for it to be this way. He was a quite skillful man that knew how to manage the situation and turn everything to his best interest. With the mystery of Mathis Bauer's death being the most talked topic, he knew to keep such thing a secret and make the most of it he could, so the world never received an answer regarding this question.

Why did Mathis Bauer die….

The truth is quite funny actually. So funny and stupid that is tragically sad, especially for a writer like him who ended every book with a boom, for a writer like him who had mastered the art of capturing the reader's attention with his words and kept them glued to his books in anticipation until the very last word, where after the climax came the perfect ending that completed the book in such a way, it left people thinking about it for days.

It is funny and sad to say, that the famous writer Mathis Bauer died because of choking on a single round grape.

The very famous writer, Mathis Bauer, unexpectedly dies one night, shocking the world, but the real one who can't get over the shock is Mathis himself. 
With the last thing he can recall being himself dying, Mathis Bauer wakes up in the body of one of his book characters, and a side villan character at that.
 
Not understanding what is happening and how such thing is possible, Mathis Bauer now is thrown in the middle of the war he himself as the writer plotted, knowing fully well that he's working for the wrong side. 

Forced to live as the psychotic murder, Yue Zian, who dies halfway through the book in the hands of the main character, Mathis tries his best to change the ending of the book, all while helplessly goofing around and losing his shit over the main character and his love interest.

NARRATIVE of WARD COURIER/CONFERENCE with TED BENNETT and EVAN DAVIS
March, 2010
SOUTH WALES and BUFFALO, NY

On Wednesday, March 17, I checked my mailbox in the faculty room and found one of the familiar pink-slip memos from the office. Since so many of these are internal memos that hold dreary news - extra duty, more paperwork, a meeting that could turn into a scolding - the pink slips had become jokes with the faculty. This one was from the Headmaster's secretary. The FBI man Ted Bennett had called the school and asked for me to be cleared for a meeting on the following day.
I had developed suspicions about every part of my interaction with Bennett. I never knew what he would be asking me next or what he might be driving at. I had given up underestimating the extent of his outreach. I suspected that he could have an influence over everyone, even people I considered close.
There was a bit of light, though, to be shed on the recent scenario. Because the requested conference was designed around what everybody at the school that year knew was my off day, it made me think Bennett and Headmaster Burns were still in contact. That reassured me, in a way.
Our gruff, grandfatherly Headmaster was all right, at least if I could judge anybody at all. He had a cast-iron backbone and an old-school sense of right and wrong. He wouldn't steer you into any trouble he could foresee. That meant that Bennett was all right in the big picture, and that, as far as Bennett could judge, so was Evan Davis of the Drug Enforcement Agency. The site chosen for the meeting surprised me, though: one of Buffalo's Victorian monuments, a redeveloped factory just southeast of the historic city core. It held a hundred offices, including that of my intellectual property attorney. It was a likely place for me to show up once in awhile, and another curve for anyone tailing any of us.
I got there way early and went straight to the suite to which I'd been directed. It turned out to be the offices of Homeland Security. I did a double-take and circled around that corner of the building, hardly believing it. Reassured by the secretary in the reception area, I was again processing things. I had not known that Homeland had a branch in this building, but it was a very logical place for my two inquisitors, Bennett and Davis, to drop in, probably several times a month. Only someone spying on all three of us and coordinating the surveillance would have put the picture together. Perfect. Yet another curve.
A secretary walked me into the conference room. Like Bennett's Niagara Square office, this one had a fine overlook of the Buffalo waterfront. I found Bennett and Davis in their coats and ties. I was ten minutes early, and there they were, waiting and ready. What was it about these guys? Next meeting, if there ever was one, I was determined to beat them to it, if it meant getting there an hour early.
By our second meeting I had pegged Bennett to have his eye on an eventual career in politics. He was his rangy, olive-complected, preppy self, dressed right out of the Joseph Bank catalog, still looking like the college lacrosse man I had figured him to be, and still color-blind. A blue button-down shirt, a maroon tie, a brown suit. Nice threads on their own, but... horrible together. At every one of our earlier meetings I had wondered who dressed him. Was his wife color-blind, too?
Davis still looked like a born-again football lineman. Every part of him was pale and solid, down to those tanless, blunt, broad hands on the table. I bet it took a chisel to cut those nails. He was in a grey suit that looked less expensive than Bennett's. Davis was Mens' Wearhouse, I would have figured. At least things matched with him.
I thought I noticed a chill in the air when I took my seat. I try not to over-process things. It could have been just my imagination. Still, I went through my mental file for potential mess-ups. I hadn't broken any confidences. I hadn't talked about this investigation in any compromising fashion. Maybe that wasn't it. Maybe they both had headaches. Maybe things were getting tense in the two separate investigations. Maybe they were just unhappy with things in this world that didn't tally in theirs. Maybe they had heard what I had heard about the mysterious blind people, the ones we were calling without knowing why, "The Whistlers."
One thing I realize I should have asked myself at the time was, 'Why are these two doing interviews together?' The FBI and the DEA? One was after an interstate, even international antiquities ring and the other was on the trail of a new drug. Except for the fact that the subjects were foreshadowed in my work - and that they bordered on subjects of the paranormal - they shouldn't have been related. The obvious link was me. My stories and published research had overlapped the subjects. I was beginning to get tired of that as a default explanation.
"We want to ask you about another one of your stories," said Ted Bennett, looking into his notes at a printout of a web page I recognized. "You may recall the one you call 'The Hunters.' It's about an interview with an individual who believed he had met a being that might qualify to be called a vampire."
"'The Hunters,'" I said. "Winner of the "Jobs in Hell" 2001 contest for horror fiction, again under the pen name Mason Winfield. Published by the legendary wild man whose pen name is Feo Amante. Nominated by horror guru Brian Keene, whose pen name is Brian Keene. Given an honorable mention in the year's best horror and fantasy. Would have been published in that book if they could have agreed on the year it belonged to. It was the tweener date. Won a December 2001 contest, wasn't published till January 2002. So which year does it belong to?"
They just looked at me. Maybe I was being a little flip. I guess I was getting tired of these one-sided meetings.
Ted Bennett spoke with impeccable patience. "We'd like to ask you how much of that story you believe was based on fact."
"I don't think much," I said. "It seems way too fantastic."
Bennett had the expression of a man who had gotten the answer he had expected. "Can you direct us to any individuals we could interview?"
"About that wacky story?" I said, wondering what in the Hell it could have to do with anything they might be working on. "I can give you some leads. But I think you'll be disappointed. Like many paranormal reports, that story is based on the testimony of one person. One good interview. It's an old junior high school friend I interviewed in the late 1990s. I don't remember the year. He told me that one killer story. I am sorry for my own reasons to tell you that he passed away of cancer a few years ago. He was living in Florida at the time. The story was largely his."
"So nothing like that happened to you?" said Bennett. "That was the story of the guy you interviewed?"
"All the way," I said.
"So I have this straight," said Bennett. "You never met the guy you called Lang in that story, the guy on the trail of the vampire?"
"Never," I said. "That mysterious personality was my friend's friend. The whole story was an imaginative takeoff on my friend's story. I fleshed a lot of details out based on my relationship with my old friend."
"We're interested in talking to the person you called Lang in that story," said Davis. "Is that what the guy looked like?"
"No," I said as patiently as I could. "The Lang-character is what my old friend looked, acted, and talked like. I imagined what it was like for him to have that interview and that experience. I imagined myself driving to one of our wacky meetings about New York State, which we really did used to have. It was at our last one that he told me the story. Other than the doctored-up hat and the adventure-clothes, he gave me very few clues about what his vampire-hunting friend looked like."
"Do you have any leads for us at all?" said Davis.
"I may be able to point you to some people who kept in better touch with my old friend than I did. Some of them might be able to give you a lead. Friends. His sister. His ex-wife. I can give you that list at the end."
Davis nodded like this would be all right with him. Talk first, references later. I was used to this routine.
"So this story's not based as much on research," said Bennett.
"That's about the shape of it," I said. "One interview with an old friend. I gave the two characters the same background my friend and I had. It seemed a lot more vivid that way. In fact, that was the one weird story my friend ever did tell me."

Interviewer: Hello everyone and welcome to our interview with the characters of the lord series. We- *Elliot enters the room*

Elliot: Sorry I am late *grins widely and takes a seat next to Katherine* I got stuck in traffic.

Author-san: There was no traffic in the eighteenth century!

Elliot: Of course, there is traffic. Have you seen the market-

Interviewer: *clears throat loudly to gain everyone's attention in room* Ahem, if everyone could settle down. We are on a limited time before our schedule ends.

*murmurs of agreement goes around the room*

Interviewer: So first thing first, let us give an applause to all the characters who are here sitting with us today *meow* *a black cat enters the room to go and sit next to Alexander's leg* As I was saying, we have the lords from Valeria, Mythweald and Bonelake. There are also our beautiful ladies here Katherine, Heidi and Lettuce. Oh my bad! Lettice *smiles sheepishly*

Elliot: Author-san, how could you name her like that *snickers until Katherine gives him a look of disapproval*

Nicholas: I feel bad for her *nods head* You should have changed her name.

Author-san: It's a unique name. Let-isss *pronounces the name* It's different.

Interviewer: *gets carried away* So that is how you say it! I have been calling her Let-ice all this while. What about Rhys? I hope I have been calling him right. At first I thought it was 'rice' but then I realized it was pronounced as 'reese'. Getting back on the show. We have Lettice, Rhys, Timothy, our butlers Martin and Stanley, Elliot. Wait, where's Sylvia?

Camera man: She couldn't make it. She's gone to visit her hometown.

Author-san: *coughs*

Interviewer: Yes, we have our author here along with us *smiles* So let us ask few questions before we end our book here *shuffles cue cards in hand and then looks at Alexander* Before I ask you questions I would like to let you know, big fan *points hands to herself*

Martin: This is going to take longer than half an hour *mumbles in his seat while thinking about what food to prepare for dinner*

Interviewer: Here's the question to you, lord Alexander. We all know you don't have a smooth relationship with the lord of Bonelake in your book. Why did you help him? What changed?

Nicholas: This should be good *gives a eager smile with eyes sparkling in amusement*

Author-san: *bouncing in her seat, raises hand to answer*

Interviewer: Please sit down miss. Your turn will come later *ignores author-san*

Alexander: What's there to say? He promised to keep Katie safe and he did. I am sure all of us know how much trouble she invites. She is a naive girl who would believe anyone-

Katie: I call it being trustworthy!

Malphus: She's easy to fool.

Katie: You just wait there Malphy. I am going to give you your favourite flowers.

Author-san: That's right my girl. Give him those flowers he's allergic to!

Alexander: My girl *narrows eyes*

Author-san: *a little scared* Hey, you know what I meant! I don't swing that way!

Interviewer: Everyone please settle down, quiet. Alexander please...

Alexander: For us vampires, especially the pure blooded one's, soul bonds are absolute. She is the love of my life. Keeping her safe is the top priority. Without Katie I would be lost. Nicholas is an asshole but he has his rare moments which comes very rarely.

Interviewer: I see. There are readers who would like to know how you were able to bring Heidi back. How does that even work? Does that mean you can bring anyone back?

Nicholas: I have a few people in the list whom I would want to bring back. Let's set up a meeting once this interview is done.

Malphus: I would like to take part in it!

Elliot: Count me in!

Stanley: Master, can we bring the boy back? *looks at Nicholas*

Nicholas: I am sure we can, Stanley.

Author-san: Not happening!

Alexander: I am sorry but the author is right. I cannot bring anymore people back from the dead. Tapping into dark magic has its consequences and I wouldn't want any unfortunate events to touch my family *continues to explain* When I realized Heidi's soul was damaged to be put more crudely-corrupted, I used a binding magic on her in a hope that a resurrection would take place.

Interviewer: *asks Katie* Did you know about this? *Katie shakes head*

Katie: I am still disappointed with that *lips set in a thin line*

Alexander: My silly girl *leans towards her and kisses her cheek* it was something I wasn't sure would work. You *interviewer straightens up* ask only relevant questions else we have chains and shackles to welcome you. Anyways...With the magic that was spilt on Katie, she had woken up Malphus by mistake from his grave. But you see, I had forcibly pushed some part of my magic to Heidi when she was alive. I believe it resulted in her soul and new body taking rebirth in Valeria without her past memories as a human. She was dead until she was buried and the magic brought her back to life. You won't find anything in her coffin except for dust. It would have combusted after she was born as a baby.

Interviewer: So you're a human.

Heidi: I guess I am, if I am alive.

Interviewer: Are you an immortal like Malphus if he was brought back to life by Lord Alexander?

Heidi: No, I am very much a mortal right now. Malphus didn't have a restart in his life and he is able to switch from human to ghost form. I can't because I am living a second life thanks to lord Alex.

Nicholas: If it weren't for this stupid interview I would have turned her by now *passes an annoyed expression*

Interviewer: How are your new family, Heidi? Are they better than the last one?

Heidi: Much better though I do miss my mother, Helen. My parents love me. I have a younger brother named, Michael.

Interviewer: Well that's good to hear and we are all happy for you, Heidi.

Heidi: Thank you *smiles*

Interviewer: So talking about parents. Did you ever try finding who they were or where you came from?

Heidi: My previous family, when I was a Curtis no one bothered to find about it *Nicholas holds her hand* I think I was traded for money like the rest of the children to slavery. Frankly, I have no recollection to my life before I arrived at the slave establishment.

Interviewer: *changes cue card before coming to one of them. Blinking at it a couple of times and then looks up* There's a reader who would like to us if you're a virgin...

Nicholas: Alexander, where are the shackles?

Interviewer: So Lord Alexander, why is that Katie shows no sign of the soul bond unlike Heidi who has this really beautiful choker line design?

Alexander: Isn't that obvious, I am not a show off like Nicholas. Sometimes I like to keep things private.

Interviewer: Well, this is interesting *looks up from her cue card* Did you by any chance have something to do with Heidi passing away in such early life?

Alexander: No, I had no hand in it.

Interviewer: Moving on to Katherine, how have you been doing.

Katie: Very good, thank you.

Interviewer: *cries a river, I want an Alex too!* Our readers were really excited to know that you and Lord Alexander have a son. How old is he?

Katie: Visually in a human's term, he would look to be around eight.

Interviewer: So how does the aging work with the vampires?

Alexander: I will take this question. When a vampire child is born, the child ages normally like a human until he or she reached seven or eight until their body cells freezes for certain number of years before continuing to age and freezing the aging process again for a much longer duration. Though it is very hard to say as different vampires have different age growth.

Interviewer: That's physically. How about the mental growth? *asks curious*

Nicholas: Vampire children are usually babied and pampered, especially the kids belonging to the higher society. So they are pretty much like the humans.

Interview: Katherine. How did you break the news that you were pregnant to Lord Alexander.

Katie: *blushes at the memory* I wasn't the one who broke the news. It was the other way around.

Malphus: Alexander was the one to break the news to her that she was pregnant *snorts*

Interview: That must have been quite a scene. Our readers are sending lot of love to Areo *meows* *looks around realizing someone is missing* Where's Warren?

Nicholas: Do you even have to ask? He's with Venetia *gives a deadpan answer*

Interviewer: I was sure I invited him too asking him to make some time. How is he doing? You played him real nice Lord Nicholas.

Nicholas: *rolls eyes* I won the girl's heart fair and square. He wasn't interested in Heidi in the beginning. He didn't make his moves and I did *gives a sly smile*

Timothy: He's getting engaged to a girl his mother picked up for him. I feel sorry for him but he is a mama's boy in the end.

Rhys: Some of us vampires are brought up and bound to follow the words of family.

Interviewer: Was it too much of a shock to see Heidi back?

Timothy: I was excited to see her back alive. After leaving her at the forest, I couldn't help but tell it to Rhys who told it to Lettice. I must say though, her sudden unexpected visit gave a lot of people a shock.

Nicholas: It was priceless *one corner of his lips lifts up*

Heidi: People thought I was a ghost and refused to talk to me or come near me. The woman who fell on the floor hit her head too bad *she grimaced*

[Year 1847]

An adopted child, Heidi was a smart and obedient girl because she had to be. 

Used as a scapegoat by her family, she was sent to become the political bridge between two empires. Taken in by the House of the infamous White King, Lord Nicholas Rune, she would be cared for and supervised until her wedding with his cousin, Warren Lawson.

A man whose gentle appearance and benevolent manner earned him the title White King of the Empire, Lord Nicholas was a man kindest to the souls around him. Very few knew about the truth that lay beneath his beautiful visage.

“Now, tell me, Heidi, why do I have a bad taste in women?”
As Lord Nicholas took a step forward, she took a step back. Heidi had said too much, and she regretted it. Would he let her go free?

Gulping, she warned him, "What you're doing could be considered harassment, milord."

"I wouldn’t. I’d call it persuasion.”

He took another step towards her, his frame towering over her.

"I believe the dictionary in your library would disagree with you, milord."

She retreated another step back, shrinking away, hoping he would give up.

“I keep the good one in my room. You can come to see for yourself if you don’t believe me.”

Her back struck the wall behind her.

"You haven’t answered my question, Heidi." 

The Lord was too persistent, Heidi cursed to herself. He was unwilling to let her go.

"What is he doing here? Whoever He is." I ask my dad without taking my eyes off the wolf with soft looking ashy blonde hair. Okay, that is an irrelevant thought.

"Captain, meet your newest JSA member. Agent Newton." My dad tells me.

"He's a wolf." I say, slowly peeling my eyes from Agent Newton and looking at my dad.

"So?" He asks.

"I have an all vamp team. I'm a vampire in case you mysteriously forgot." I say furrowing my eyebrows at him.

"Well captain in case you forgot, you do find teams that have mixtures of both our races, including witches and or warlocks. You're gonna be one of them." He tells me, standing and buttoning his blazer. "I'll leave you two for your own personal introductions. I expect you to do a full interview and inform me of your thoughts, do not be bias."

"Yes sir." I say. My dad gives me a squeeze on the shoulder before walking out and closing the door behind him. I guess it wouldn't hurt to interview Agent. Newton. Sighing, I turn and address him.

"I'm Captain Frankie Davies." I say holding my hand out.

"I'm Agent Mason Newton." He's British. He takes my hand and we shake hands, both of us holding on for a minute longer than normal before pulling back. Weird.

"Do you wanna sit for our interview?" I ask. He nods and I usher him to my desk.

"How long have you been an Agent?" I ask.

"I've been an Agent for most of my life. I grew up around all of that, you know?" He says. His accent is so hot. I dismiss that thought so fast that it barely surfaces.

"So your parents are in the business?" I ask, taking out a book and writing down notes.

"Technically yes, my biological mum and dad passed when I was little. I was to be thrown into the foster system but I was taken in by two agents who raised me, it's how I was brought into the agency." He says.

I look up at him and put my pen down. "I'm so uh... sorry for your loss." I say clearing my throat. I've always been awkward with feelings, which is weird with how much affection my parents show me, and how I let them.

"It's alright, I was very young and I love my new parents very much." He says. "It worked out well, I wouldn't have been here if it weren't for them, I can't imagine not being with them."

"That's good. It's great how it all worked out." I say coughing. "So anyways, how long have you been in the states?"

"I don't live in America. I'll only move here because of the job. Back where I'm from, I was the only person of my level. So my parents and I came here 'cause their friend, who is the lieutenant, called me up, saying he had a job for me with someone close to him. I'm guessing that's you, because here we are.

"So, just out of curiosity, you have the same surname, what's the relationship there?"

"He's my dad." I say. "The other Lieutenant of this base is my mom, in case you were wondering."

"Interesting." He says.

"Yeah, so back to the questions," I say and he nods. "How old are you?" I ask opening his file.

"I'll be twenty-four in a few months." He says. I nod and continue on with the interview.

"Last question, are you seeing someone?" I ask seriously looking at my notes.

"Aren't you being a bit forward Captain? We just met." Mason says. I look up at him and arch a brow. "I'm just kidding." He says and I smirk.

"I need to know if you have a partner who will come after me for sending you on dangerous missions or if you have other priorities." I say with a smirk.

"I assumed so. No I'm not seeing anyone." He says. Why would anyone let someone like him go to waste? My thoughts are sooo not going there.

"Does the name Willow mean anything to you?" I ask, glancing down at the name listed in his file.

"She's my ex." He says and I see the way he gets uncomfortable.

"Okay. When was your last relationship?" I ask.

"A year ago." He says. "It was Willow." He adds and his eyes darken.

"Heartbreak?"

"Is that relevant?" He asks.

"No, but I'm curious." I say with a laugh.

"Your laugh is very pretty." He says catching me off guard. He can't do that, slip that in all smooth.

"Thank you." I say looking anywhere but at him. Not to sound self centered but compliments make me feel weird, considering I get them alot, point is is, Mason just ignited a fire in stomach, which is dangerous, vampires burn. "I wanna put you on trial with my team before deciding anything."

"Seems fair." He says. I nod and open a drawer, grabbing a pin and clipping all my notes before shoving the papers in there.

"Frankie." He says making me look up, caught off guard. Mason's accent though.. My gosh, he just had to be a were–"Frankie." He says again.

"Yes Mason." I say in my most professional tone.

"Am I to stay at the JSA Mansion?" He asks.

I stare at him and nod slowly. Since the JSA's are a small team, we have a sort of group house. "I'm the only one staying there at the moment. The rest of the team are kind of in and out more than anything. But if that's what you want then yes, you can stay at the Mansion. With me. Alone."

"If it bothers you I'll find my own place."

"No it doesn't. You can stay at the Mansion." I tell him with a smile. He nods and smiles back. Oh gosh his smile, that smile with me at the Mansion is hopefully not dangerous. He's so pretty.

"Shall I introduce you to the rest?" I ask, standing, trying to regain my composure.

"Sure." Mason says. I lead him out of my office and into the main JSA training space.

When Wen Zilong took advantage of the two poles to go out, his wings spread, and he flew towards the two poles.

Seeing that he was about to hit the face of the two poles, he unexpectedly took out an iron plate from behind.

The vampire lord walked through the wooden door of the interview chamber and into a large circular room. The room was magically enlarged as it was impossible for such a room to be so large, as it was used as a side room of the great hall. 

Inside the room was a group of wizards wearing expensive dress robes and held pompous attitudes. These were the board of governors and Kai recognized one of them. He and Lucius Malfoy locked eyes for a brief moment as the wizard understood what he was to do. 

There were 12 wizards standing above the vampire lord and his familiar. Kai recognized that they all were from pureblood families. He mentally grimaced in annoyance and looked at them all coldly, easily displaying his immense aura of authority to the board members, successfully gaining the higher position in the minor battle of wills. This would allow him to dictate how the beginning of the interview would start.

The room was constructed in a way that would cause the person standing at the bottom to feel inferior and judge his mental capacity and will. At least that was the official reason, the true reason was that most of the board of directors were made up of purebloods. They were wizards that discriminated against all that weren't purebloods themselves and they would do so with pride. 

When Kai first realised this when he was still new to the world of magic, he was disgusted with the deep discrimination and prejudice that festered in the wizarding world. But later he came to understand that he wouldn't be able to stop the deep-seated prejudice that ran through the wizarding world. It was essentially built on the basis that wizards were superior to every other living creature, be they muggles, intelligent magical beings or magical creatures. 

He had settled on showing the elite blood purist community (the members of the wizengamot) that he was their better and therefore would have to respect him. If they didn't, well… they would have to learn why they were below him. Kai wouldn't do this to all wizards only the ones that believed that they were above others. 

As he stood before them, the board looked at Lucius who was still the chairman of the governors and urged him to start the interview. Most of the men were feeling threatened by Kai's otherworldly looks and the women wanted to get the interview out of the way so they could talk to him in "private."

Lucius coughed to get the governors attention and began the interview. "Please state your name and which position you wish to receive." 
"My name is Kai Darcone, I wish to receive the position of professor for the subject of care of magical creatures," the vampire lord answered without hesitation.

"Have you got any important feats or endeavours that you would like to mention?" Lucius asked. This was the actual deciding factor that the governors' wanted to hear from the participants. They could ask you however questions they wanted but this was question was the one that actually made any difference. 

Take for example Quirrell, Moody or Lockhart. All of them had a good reputation and lots of fame. Quirrell was known for his work with trolls, Lockhart was an accomplished author who had done may  "feats" and Moody was known as one of the best Aurors of his time. 

It didn't matter if they weren't good teachers as long as they were famous and had a great and well-known reputation. This was what Kai had foreseen and had gotten Tom to give him an identity that had many accomplishments and had ties with many "people in high places."

"In fact, I do I am a 10 star combatant of the Dark Lords' Court." Kai let that comment sink in. Unlike most people, almost everybody in the room was either a member of the Dark Lords' Court or had ties to the organization. It was natural that they had a connection otherwise they would fail in business and advancements, which was crucial in their high-class society. 

All the people in the room knew how high a 10-star combatant was. The only high ranking member that the public knew off was the Infernal Lord who was also the only known Lord in the Court. However, the ancient pure-blooded families with ties to the ministry and the Court knew that there were other Lords that had their identity's hidden. 

Below them were the 10-star members, there had never been any 10-star members in public and they were kept hidden to the levels of the utmost secrecy. This was the first time that the wizards in the room had ever met a 10 star member of the Court, with the exception of Lucius who had seen both Kai and Tom. 

Lucius was an 8-star member himself and was the highest member of the Court that many of the governors had personally met. This was one of the primary reasons that he was the chairman of the board of governors and not anybody else. There were other reasons such as his wealth and political position.

The vampire lord heard all of the murmuring voices become quiet the moment that he finished. If they looked at Kai from the Court's ranking then he was considered their supervisor's supervisor's boss. He could easily pull rank if he wanted to receive the job. 

But since Kai was still feeling exhilaration from beating Dumbledore that he felt that he could show off and receive the job with his own abilities, all of the feats that were in his new identity were done by him anyway. "I have also fought, studied, healed and killed many magical beasts during the first Court war. In between that period, I was the administrator for the whole magical creature department." 

This part wasn't quite true but the vampire lord had visited and tended to the hurt creatures so there was some truth to his words.

Their eyes widened in surprise and respect, it wasn't every day that a person could meet one of the original members of the Court. After that war, many flocked to join the organization and all of the members that joined before the war were promoted by a couple of stars depending on their contributions. 

The vampire enjoyed the looks of admiration but hid it behind his cold exterior and continued. "I have also fought and slain many during the dragon war so I believe that I have the right to teach the students here. I should hope that I get the job," his eyes narrowed. 

"After all the only reason that I am here is due to the fact that this school's current standards have fallen to such a disgraceful level that I was assigned to bequeath the children with relevant and helpful information that will help them in their life."

Lucius returned to the rest of the board members and they created a Muffliato charm that caused a loud buzzing noise in their surroundings. This was to cause Kai to be unable to hear them but with his enhanced hearing he could easily hear that they had a few discussions that checked his documents that verified his identity. 

After agreeing that he would get the position, the caster of the spell nullified the spell and apologized, stating that it was needed to vote. Afterwards, Lucius stepped forward and declared that Kai would receive the role. Kai thanked him and after being told to arrive on September the first with his teaching materials, he turned to leave. 

While walking to the door he called out "Oh by the way you should prepare the staff for the fact that I am a vampire." He then pulled the door and left.

Kai is a tourist on holiday when he is killed in a terrorist attack. He wakes up during the year 1981 in a forest and finds out that he is a vampire progenitor in the Harry Potter world. Kai then heads out to the nearest human settlement which happens to be Godric Hollow.

Katelina found Jorick in a back entry hall, flipping through a stack of paperwork. He excused himself to join her.
"What's wrong?"
"Sarah." She detailed the fight and Jorick's expression turned grim.
"I was worried about something like this. There's not much you can do, little one. Just give her time. When she heals she'll be back."
"If she does," Katelina murmured. "Jorick, I saw it. I saw the cell, and Kurt, and what he did to her. How they starved and tried to drink from each other."
"Life's not pretty, Katelina, even immortal life. I've tried to protect you from it, but her story isn't unusual. Many vampires were turned to be a personal army, and many more abused by their masters, or taken as mortal slaves who had their humanity drained with their blood. I wasn't a killer before I met Malick, yet my story is one of the better ones. With immortality usually comes anguish. Those who survive are those who are strong enough to move past it."
"What if she's not?"
"You can't force her to be strong any more than I could force Oren off of his suicidal bent." He smiled. "Though I won't say Etsuko hasn't made a difference."
"So what? I should find her a date?"
"No. If that's what she needs, she'll find it on her own. I know it's hard not to intervene, but the more you meddle, the angrier you'll make her. My only concern is who's been tampering with her mind."
His words were jarring. "What do you mean?"
"The morning when you read her mind I could see someone had been playing with her memories. When a whisperer interferes it leaves a mark, like a scar. Now her thoughts have been sealed completely. It must be an old and powerful vampire. Unfortunately I don't know which one."
"The twins and Kali are who she's been spending time with."
Jorick tapped his chin. "Kali's the one whose file is missing?" She nodded with concern and he lightened. "Don't worry, little one. Chances are Sarah asked her to do it." He glanced over his shoulder to an aggravated Jamie. "I suppose I should help him. You can stay if you want."
With nowhere to go, she settled in while he went back to work. Eventually she drifted to the library for a book. Verchiel sat at the table hunched over Jamie's laptop, his eyes narrowed in concentration.
"Not interviewing anyone?" she asked as she moved toward the bookcases.
He murmured his response without looking up.
"Must be something interesting." He still didn't reply. With a shrug she turned her attention to the bookcase. She settled on an eighteen-hundreds adventure story and made her way to the door.
Verchiel looked up. "Oh! Kately! How are you?"
"Fine. Just came for a book."
"Sorry, I was engrossed in this." He stretched and groaned. "It's pretty tedious."
"No progress?"
"I don't know. There are a lot of murders in the world and combing through them is going to take forever."
"Shouldn't you just check Canada?"
"Maybe. Unless the perp came here recently, then I'd need to check wherever they were before. I'm hoping to make a chain of incidents and use that to narrow down who was in those places at the right time."
"I guess that's one way to do it. Did you ever interview Kali?"
"Yeah, earlier. The file thing was a dead end. She's changed her name. She's Talon in her file. Hang on." He clicked several times to draw it up. "Turned in 1020, dark hair, dark eyes- originally from Egypt-living in Denmark-listed as an angel eye. They're like demon eyes except they can only see the past, not the future."
Which meant she wasn't the one who'd been reading Katelina's thoughts, nor could she be the one who messed with Sarah's head. "What about the twins, Tol and Ren? Do they have any mind reading powers?"
"I don't think so." He clicked again. "No. They're both just wind walkers."
Katelina sat her book on the desk and leaned toward the laptop. "But they do. Or else Kali does. Is there any proof they are who they say? Do those files have photos?"
"No. They don't have new IDs, there's only a physical description. You think they're faking their identity?" He scrolled. "I don't know. I don't think there'd be that many sets of nineteen year old twins with white hair they could impersonate."
"If not them, then Kali?"
"Maybe. I admit, I thought she was older than that, and she doesn't look Egyptian. More- Mongolian. Or Chinese." He clicked a few more keys then shook his head. "I can't even think what I'm doing. I need a break. Maybe we really should work on costumes?"
She made him promise not to throw anything at her.

By bedtime, Katelina had a costume assembled. Verchiel talked one of the acting troupes into loaning her a blue medieval-style gown, complete with wide sleeves and a veil and circlet that made her think of Maid Marian. At her comment he'd immediately gone on the hunt for a Robin Hood outfit, despite her concerns over Jorick's reaction.
"He isn't dressing up, and you can't be Maid Marian alone. Besides, who else could I be? The nurse maid? Or Friar Tuck? I don't think so. And I'm too short for Little John."
Jorick didn't take it with the jealousy she expected, and she sank into bed that night, thankful that the horrible party was almost over. She couldn't wait to escape the mansion of mysteries and go back to a normal life.
As if being a vampire could ever be normal.
The following evening, the mansion was a flurry of activity. Last minute shipments came in. After a week of work, decorators put final touches on the ballroom. Vampires cloistered themselves away to perfect costume details. Servants dashed back and forth, fetching everything from feathers to snacks. Jorick helped check in the last minute arrivals and, after lunch, he sent her to get dressed.
"I know how long women take. There's only two hours until it starts."
With no one to do her hair, there was no way it would take that long, and she told him so.
"Suit yourself."
Jamie nodded the last shipment of blood through and joined them. "It looks like everything's ready. Thank God. Where's Verchiel?"
"Getting dressed, I imagine." Jorick scoffed. "Any excuse to look like an idiot."
Jamie shrugged. "He enjoys being a peacock. I hope this goes smoothly and we can head home tomorrow."
The apprehension in his voice sparked Katelina's anxiety. "Why wouldn't it? Do you know something we don't?"
Before he could answer, Verchiel ambled in, still dressed in his normal clothes. "How are things here?"
"Fine," Jamie said guardedly. "Why?"
The redhead stuffed his hands in his pockets. "I took your research and did some of my own. Though you refuse to link previous murders to this spree without more evidence, I found a pattern of child kidnappings and killings that goes back at least two years in Canada. Before that, there's evidence there may have been a similar pattern in Myanmar. I didn't trace it farther, but I imagine I could."
"And what is this pattern?" Jamie asked.
"The child is kidnapped and turns up dead anywhere from a day to a month later. There's rarely any blood, so the humans assume the victims were killed elsewhere and disposed of. The wounds vary a bit; sometimes they're mangled, other times there's only a single incision, but their throats are always cut. If you add children who disappeared in the same areas, but never turned up, you can set up a pretty good pattern of a kid taken roughly every three to ten days."
Katelina choked on the number. "That would be at least fifty kids a year. How did no one notice that?"
Verchiel shrugged. "It moves around. At most three or four bodies are ever found from a single town and usually no more than one. If that. A lot of potential victims are ruled runaways."
"I'm sorry, but I think you're stretching the facts to fit a pet theory." Jamie shook his head. "Unless the hearts are taken in every instance, there's no proof the crimes are linked."
Jorick nodded. "I have to side with Jamie. Children are killed every day. It doesn't make the murders connected."
Verchiel pulled a hand from his pocket and examined his nails. "That's true. But you're only saying it because you haven't read all of the reports. I'll grant you, a lot of them leave room for conjecture, but there are two in Canada, and three in Myanmar, whose victims had their hearts cut out and, interestingly, in all five cases, blue eyed, white haired teenage twins were spotted right before the children went missing."
Katelina gaped. White haired teenage twins. Like Tol and Ren.

---Emma's PoV---

"Emma, I'm going up." Bella shouts in my ear. I turn around and see a tall man behind her. Oh! come on.

I look back at her with a 'come-on-bitch' expression. 

She winks at me before leaving with the guy.

It isn't even an hour, and this girl is ready to spoil bedsheets.

I scoffed and continued dancing. 

"I warned myself that I shouldn't play with fire,

 but I can tell that I'll do it one more time!

don't trust in myself -hmm- not good for my health -hmm-

you mess with my hea-"

"Hey!!" I turn around to see who just spoke in my ear. 

A tall guy with green eyes, black hair which is looking pink because of the lights here and a razor sharp jawline. My gaze moves to his broad chest and his biceps which are pulling off his shirt. He is hot.

'Time for you to spoil bedsheets!' Shut up mind.

"Hey!" I utter while continuing swaying my hips.

"Umm, can I join you?!" He asks.

I nodded with a smile. At least I have a company now.

I must say, this guy is really nice. He, not even once, tried to touch me in any uncomfortable way.

But Bella, why isn't she back yet!?

It's been almost one hour of me dancing with him.

'That tall man clearly has got some stamina!' No way! One hour is too much, what if Bella is in trouble? 

I have to find her.

"I have to find my friend, you carry on." I said to the guy I was dancing with, before turning around. I hear muffled 'heys' behind me from the same guy but Bella is more important right now.

I somehow manage to get out of the crowded dance floor and I head straight to the upper floor.

I open every door only to listen to loud moans and screams. So much love everywhere. 

I've almost reached the end of the corridor where the music is no more audible, I can only listen to the faded beats but Bella, she's seen nowhere. 

'Where are you fucking, Bella?'

My gaze moves to the way extending at the right of the corridor, which is all dark ahead.

 I didn't know here was another long passage. She can't be there?

I gulped. 

There's nothing like ghost Emma, move in.

"Bella are you there?" I speak as I start to move in that direction.

No response. I continue to walk. The more I'm going in, the sound of my heels clacking against the floor is increasing. In other situations I'd love to hear this but right now it is making me uncomfortable. 

"Bella?" I said again, this time louder.

 Still no response. I stop.

'Okay, okay. She might not be here. Let's go back!'

Before any second thought crashes on my mind, I  immediately turn around to walk.

 I see a ray of light far from me. I didn't realise, I came a little too far searching for her. 

I can hear my own heartbeat between the clacking sound produced by my heels. 'This silence is disturbing.'

I start to walk a little faster and just as I'm almost at the end, out of nowhere someone holds me by my waist and drags me behind with an inhuman speed. 

I open my mouth to scream but a huge rough hand blocks me.

I'm roughly pushed to what feels like a wall. I closed my eyes, afraid of what I'll see. 

Oh my God!

My mouth, still restrained by the hand. I stayed still for a few seconds before encouraging myself to open my eyes.

'Since when you have become this milksop?' Fuck you.

I can't see the face of the person who is holding, leave the face I can't see anything right now.

I didn't utter a word. 

I feel my heart hammering hard against my chest. Just then the iron grip around my arm loses and the person leaves my mouth.

As soon as my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I see a shining pair of red eyes.

Shit, a pure-blooded vampire.

Should I run? Or should I say something?

'Stay quiet, red eyes are hard to deal with!'

I want to look away but it feels like the red eyes are sustaining me.

'Where have you pushed yourself into!?' It's all because of Bella, not me.

I feel something touching my cheek, his hand probably, and I immediately move away. I move out of his space and stop at an appropriate distance. 

Because of the light behind me, I can see a huge masculine figure in front of me. The creature in front of me is a well built pure blooded vampire. 

'Run, Emma!' But my feet is freezed at it's place. 

'Run from here!' I look at the red eyes one last time before turning around and sprinting towards the light.

I just run and run till I get out of the club. I take a few deep breaths while leaning down, getting support of my knees.

"Emma, where were you?" I hear Bella. I look up and see her running towards me. 

"What happen? Why are you sweating?" She asked. Concern is filled in her voice.

I close my eyes while hiding my face underneath my hand, remembering the pair of red eyes I just saw. This isn't usual spotting a pure blooded vamp anywhere, then what was that vampire doing in the club?! 

I'm trembling right now, my hands, my legs, everything. 

I'm thankful that he didn't hurt or kill me. This again, is not normal being loosen off a pure blooded vamp.

I feel my mind getting heavy and the vehicle horns and other noises around aren't helping.

"Emma?" Bella speaks again. 

"Let's go home. I'm tired." I speak, heading towards my car.



~ (Next Morning)



The Palace looks huge. The white marbled walls don't look less than lavish. And yes, I'm in front of King Xavier's Palace. 

Why?

Because my stupid best friend, without telling me, already applied for the job yesterday itself. 

'That's why she would not stop arguing!'

And I'm here with the CV in my hand and ready for the interview. 

'Not actually ready, if you know!'

"Go now, your interview is in five minutes." Bella said, pushing me into the car's door.

"And all the best!!" She shouted with so much excitement. 

And here I am, completely blinded by sleep. I couldn't sleep last night, those red eyes weren't letting me.

"Fuck off!" I spat as I stepped out of the car.

"Oh, I did it yesterday." Bella shouts from behind.

This woman. 

I really wish I could take off my heels and throw on her face. But I'm wearing flat shoes, so,

Well, they can work the same.

And for the basic knowledge, she was fucking under a bed yesterday.

Like who does this? How did they even manage? 

Most importantly, in what position they were doing it? 

Anyways, I walk through the massive gate, I see many people, with the same dress code, wandering in the palace. Some of them are trimming the bushes, trees and grass. Others are brooming the floor.

'They are the people you will be managing!' Yeah, like I will get selected at first place.

I observe them closely before going inside  the Palace. 

My jaw drops on the floor by seeing the interior of this opulent place. 

I see a massive glass chandelier hanging in the middle of the ceiling.

My gaze then moves to the two extensive staircases, which are leading to the upper floor from either side of this mighty ballroom. 

I study the ballroom, twenty houses like mine can fit in this. It's colossal and extremely mind blasting. 

I look down, and I can see my own reflection very clearly. 'I bet they do not have mirrors in their rooms.'

"What can I do for you?" I quickly look up at the direction of the voice. 

I see a woman walking towards me with her hands intertwined at her stomach. She looks in her late thirties. Her clothes are different from the rest. 

And she has icy blue eyes. Vampire. 

"Hello! I'm here for the interview for the Servant Manager post." I smile as she stops at an appropriate distance.

"Your name, Miss?"

"Emma Casey."

She nods and gestures to me to follow.

We walk through the glass stairs and I'm just trying to not fall, because this is so fuckin risky. Darn it, how is she walking so comfortably!?

With each step taken so cautiously, I dealt with the stairs. We walk through the corridor and she stops in front of a large door.

"All the best, Miss Casey." She speaks before leaving. 

I see her leaving then I turn my head to face the door. Okay, I'm supposed to go inside. 

'All the best!'

I knock at the door after taking a deep calm breath. 

"Come in." I hear a deep masculine voice. 

I open the door and step in.

"Close the door." I didn't even see who would be taking my interview and look at him, already throwing orders on me.

I close the door and turn around. I see a man sitting at a distance, busy on his laptop. 

'He looks familiar.'

I walk in his direction.

His black shirt is highlighting his fairly tanned skin. Damn his body is well built. 

His broad shoulders and the biceps will tear apart his poor shirt at any moment. 

Isn't he…

He looks at me. KING!

'He is King Xavier.' He is going to take my interview!?

He is even much sexier in reality. Bella showed me his picture once.

But I guess the lady has mistaken. I look back at the closed gate and then at him.

He is looking at me with  his red eyes reflecting a flat expression.

Red eyes. 

'Same red eyes!'  Last night's incident started to come to my mind. 

 No way! He can't be there. It was a club and he's a king.

"King," I speak looking at him. His red eyes, still fixed on me.

'Don't waste his time.' I clear my throat before walking towards his direction. I sit on the chair placed in front of him.

I stow my CV on the table. He takes it while his eyes are still fixed at me.

Why is he staring so much?

'Because he is that club vampire.' This can't be possible. 

"How did you lose your previous job, human?" He asks, still reading my CV. 

'His voice is so sexy, I'm already wet.' No, I'm NOT and think something, I can't tell him this. He is a vampire too. 

But I didn't do something wrong. 

But what if, if he gets angry? He is hot but he seems dangerous as well.

But I can't stay quiet.

"I had a fight with one of the customers." I speak, not going into the details.

Now, his intense gaze is back on me.

He slides the CV in my direction. 

"Fights are not something unusual in restaurants. Managers leave their staff with a warning. What was different in your case?" He speaks, looking directly into my eyes.

I straighten my back.

'Tell him the truth.'

"Two artificial vampires, which were our customers, attacked one of the staff members. They weren't backing off so I jumped into the fight." 

"I... I punched one of them several times. Therefore, I got fired." I finished speaking. 

I don't break the eye contact.

He doesn't look angry. 

'But you won't be selected for the job.' I know this already. 

"You'll be contacted if selected. Leave." He says. 

That's it!? I look at him confusion but he is again busy on his laptop.

I get up from my seat, I take my CV and head out of the room.

I take a deep breath. Such an arrogant creature he is.

Come in!

Leave!

Close the door! 

What the fuck!! Who does he think he is? He's just a king, not a God. 

But anyways, I don't need to tolerate all this. Let's go home and search for a good job.

"How did it go?" Bella asked me the moment I reached home and I told her everything. 

"I, too, want to see him. He is so motherfucking hot." She speaks in a voice filled with amusement and not to forget, lust. 

I roll my eyes.

"He is just a vampire whose nerves are filled with arrogance. Nothing else." I spat. 

She completely ignored the fact of him being a cocky ass!! 

"I'm going to sleep." I speak again and without wasting any time on her, I walk to my room.

I changed my clothes and wore a long T-shirt. I washed my face and applied moisturizer, it's mandatory or my skin will become a desert. 

I shift to my bed and close my eyes. It's time to take a long long nap.

"No. No. No. Don't act like you don't want it." He immediately leaves one arm of mine and his hand travels straight to my face, to keep it from moving.
