My name is Chaos. I’m Ares, the god of War's daughter, from an unknown female soldier who fought against the Nazis during World War II. 

My father recently asked me to find my younger brother, Havoc, who is currently on earth creating well you know ... havoc. 

So here I am now, posing as a 17-year old junior high school at Heritage Preparatory School, a school for the elites of Newark, New Jersey.

Venus' POV:

Many years later...



"Have you ever heard about Hades' love story?" Umiling kami. Welcome to 21st Century Literature class. My one and only favorite subject and welcome to Queenville International University. It's a night school by the way. "Maybe this will change your minds about Hades." And meet Ms. Dodds, our professor for this subject. 

Nag-story telling na ulit ang prof. namin. Mahilig kasi mag-kwento talaga 'to. Minsan dito na lang nauubos ang oras namin. "So you're telling me that Hades is not really the bad guy here." Ani ni Luna.

"Hades fell in love with Persephone and decided to kidnap her. The myth says that in one of the rare times he left the Underworld, he traveled above ground to pursue her, while she was gathering flowers in a field." Kwento nang prof. namin.

Lahat kami ngayon ay natahimik tungkol sa love story ni Hades. "He may look bad from the outside but he is all good; with a big heart inside of him." Dagdag pa ni Ms. Dodds. 

After all this time akala ko talaga bad guy si Hades hehe. Napaka judgemental ko naman. Well, sabi nga nila:




"A girl wants a bad boy who will only be good just for her." 







"If greek gods have histories and been involved in literature, why can't there be vampires?" I asked. 

Oh shame on me. I forgot to introduce myself. I am Venus Serene Reignhart. And the other one is Luna Marie Cordelia. I love myths and histories. Kahit alam kong sabi-sabi lang 'yon, naniniwala pa rin ako na totoo talaga 'yun. Paano nila mailalagay sa libro 'yun kung hindi diba? 

"Oh Venus. Greek gods aren't real. Vampires mo pa kaya? It's just only a myth." 

Sabi nang medyo walang mood kong kaibigan ngayon, Halley Gem Estella. She's a bit cold pero kalog. Don't worry she won't bite. Pare-parehas kaming introvert actually. Halley loves music. She can even play guitar.

"Sobrang common na kasi nila Zeus, Poseidon at Hades. Bakit hindi naman nila i-kuwento ang tungkol do'n?" Sabi ko kay Halley. 

"Baby girl, kakanood mo nang Twilight 'yan. Isa pa pare-parehas lang sila hindi nage-exist." Sabi naman ni Halley. 

She's missing my point. Mukhang lutang din si Halley ngayon haha. Hindi niya ako magets eh. Bakit nga ba kasi ako sa kanya nagsasabi? Hindi naman kasi siya prof. namin hahaha! "Everything alright Ms. Reignhart and Estella?" Lapit nang prof. namin sa'min ni Halley. "Ma'am, I think Venus has something to ask you about myths." Sabi ni Halley. Argh! Wala naman akong sinabi eh. "What is it?"

Sige na nga minsan lang din naman ako magtanong at magsalita dito sa klase na 'to. Masyado kasi akong shy type eh. "Go on. Malay mo masagot ni ma'am 'yang mga thoughts mo." Bulong sa'kin ni Halley. Sabagay. Dapat naman kasi talaga sa kanya ako dapat magtanong hehe. 

"Ma'am, if there's a myth about greek gods, why there isn't about vampires? They are mythical creatures as well." Mukhang parehas lang ako ng maririnig. 

"Honey, they're not real. It's just a bad element and imaginations." 

"But greek gods aren't real too, right? They are also myths. Same as the vampires. So why they don't have stories like Zeus and Hades?" 

Mukhang mapapa-debate pa yata tayo nito kapag masyado kong pinaglaban ang tanong ko. Argh. I hate debates. 

"Look students, I'm just teaching what's inside the books and powerpoints. Ito lang naman ang nandidito. But it's an interesting question you got there Ms. Reignhart. But sadly I can't answer it. Maybe you can find the answers of  your own and write about them." Hmm. Kinda motivates me though. Umupo na ako ulit. 

Paano nga kung mayroon talagang gano'n 'no? "We have the same thoughts you know." Sabi ni Eliana.

Eliana Soleil Sunniva, ang instrumental naming kaibigan. Instrumental tawag namin sa kanya kasi halos lahat yata ng instruments kaya niyang tugtugin. Super duper gifted ang ate mo. 

"'Yan ang epekto ng fantasies sa inyo." Sabi ni Halley. Wala talagang mood ngayon 'to. Ang sungit eh. "Try reading sometimes Hal. It's just the whys and whats, thoughts of Venus." Singit ni Luna. 

"Besides, I find vampires are really good." Sabi ko. Well, there's always a good side naman diba? Si Hades din naman hindi natin akalaing mapagmahal eh. 

"Seriously? They will just suck the blood out of you. They are not good." Depensa ni Halley. Mukhang parehas tayong may pinaglalaban haha. "Why are you so grumpy?" Tanong ni Eliana. Yeah, why you so grumpy ate Halley? Sinaniban ka yata nang alien at ang sungit mo haha. "Sorry. Maybe because second day ng red sea ko." Sagot ni Halley sa'min. 

"That's not an excuse. Second day ko rin naman ngayon." Sabi ni Luna. Wow ha. Sabay pa talaga kayo buti hindi kayo sumasabog nang sabay. 

"Sinisipsip din ba kaya nang bampira 'yang ganyang dugo?" Out of nowhere tinanong ko 'yon. Kung ano-ano kasi napasok sa utak ko ngayon eh hehe.

 "What the hill Venus?!" Gulat na sabi ni Luna. "That's the most disgusting  thing anyone will do. Ew!." Nandidiring sabi ni Eliana. Akala mo talaga siya hindi nag-iisip nang gano'n minsan "Dugyot." Sabi ni Halley. I just laughed at them. What am I thinking? Hahaha!

"That's all for today. Class dismissed. See you tomorrow. And go home straight." Sabi nang prof. namin. Uwian na guys. Makakakain na rin kami waaah! I can already smell the streetfoods waiting for us to make tusok.

"Is it possible for a vampire and human to fall in love?" 

"Sinisipsip pa din kaya ng isang bampira ang dugo ng taong mahal niya?" 

"May puso kaya ang mga bampira?"

+ From ancient Greek myths to Game of Thrones, the legend of the dragon is one of the most enduring and romanticized throughout history. It has been traced back as far as 4000 BC and exists in all parts of the world. In and around Europe dragons are viewed mostly as monsters of evil intent. In ancient Rome, the army used dragons as symbols of strength. During the Renaissance, fear of sea monsters kept sailors from venturing too far from known waters, and the edges of their maps would read "Here be dragons."


+ The etymology of the word dragon, which it says entered the English lexicon in around 1220 and was used in English versions of the Bible from the early 14th century. Dragon derives from Old French, the language used by nobles and law courts following the Norman conquest of 1066. This, in turn, stems from the Latin draconem or Draco meaning "big serpent," which was derived from ancient Greek δράκων (drakon).


+ In Greek mythology, the Hesperian Dragon named Ladon was a hundred-headed serpent that guarded the golden apples in the garden of the Hesperides. Historically, European dragons were viewed as being evil, jealous, and greedy hoarders of treasure. In the stories, they were generally treated as violent monsters who must be slain by heroes and saints. European dragons could have four legs, two legs, or none, and often had wings.


+ In Asia, and especially China, the view of these creatures was very different. Dragons were thought to live under the ocean in the winter, arising in the spring with a clap of thunder to bring the rain needed for their crops, according to the American Museum of Natural History. They breathed clouds and moved the seasons. The dragon was the symbol of the Chinese Emperor, and the Imperial throne was called the Dragon Throne. Known as the Dragon, the emperor ruled in harmony and brought peace and prosperity to all.


+ Chinese dragons are depicted as being more serpent-like, with long, snaking bodies and usually had four legs. They are generally seen as wingless. How people view them and what they believe about them varies widely, but the idea is too widespread not to think there are some common roots.


+ Ancient Origins discusses a number of potential roots. The first one is crocodiles. Saltwater and Nile crocodiles are the two largest living reptiles on earth today. Currently, saltwater crocodiles live in the eastern Indian Ocean region, and Nile crocs in the rivers, marshes, and lakes of Sub-Saharan Africa. But 1,000 years they had a much larger habitat range and could have been encountered by people living in Greece, Spain, and Southern Italy.

+ Dragons appear in the mythology of many ancient cultures but nowhere else in the world was the creature quite so revered as in China. There, in marked contrast to other world mythologies, the dragon was almost always seen in a positive light and particularly associated with life-giving rains and water sources. Considered the most auspicious year sign, worn on the robes of emperors, depicted in the most precious materials from gold jewelry to jade figurines, and with countless references in literature and the performing arts, the dragon was everywhere in ancient China and looms as large today in the Chinese psyche as ever.


+ One of the earliest creatures to appear in the tales and legends of ancient China, the dragon is most often depicted as a giant and lithe beast which dwells in either water sources or clouds.


+ The Chinese dragon is extraordinarily powerful, and when it flies, it is usually accompanied by lightning and thunder. When, by whom, and on what reality the dragon was first invented is not known, although some historians suggest a link with rainbows and a 'serpent of the sky' which is seen after rain showers or at waterfalls. Carved jade dragons have been excavated at sites of the Hongshan culture, which can be dated to 4500-3000 BCE, far before any written records of the creature appeared. The historian R. Dawson gives the following description of the Chinese dragon's physical attributes.


+ Alternative descriptions give similar attributes but sometimes with the body of a snake, the eyes of a rabbit, the belly of a frog, and the antlers of a deer. Other qualities of the dragon were that it could change its shape and size at will and disappear or reappear wherever it wished.


+ The Chinese scholar Wen Yiduo suggested that this fantastic collection of beastly parts was actually based on the political union of several different tribes, each with a different animal as their totem. The dragon was, therefore, a symbolic representation of the assimilation of these tribes into a single nation. An interesting hypothesis, it does not, however, explain the appearance of dragons long before any such political associations existed in early Chinese communities.


+ Despite the dragon's fearsome aspect it was not usually seen as the bad-intentioned monster that inhabits the myths of other cultures around the world where it is typically slain by a brave hero figure. Indeed, in China, the dragon was and is regarded as being a just and benevolent creature.


+ It is for this reason they became associated with rulership and especially the emperors of China who, in their capacity as the holders of the Mandate of Heaven and as God's representative on earth, must always rule in a just and impartial manner for the good of all their subjects.

  Accessing Myths Selecting Dragons And Dragon Kings In Ancient Mythology]


+ We encounter dragons in almost every ancient culture of the world. Dragons played an important role in the beliefs of our ancestors and these creatures were depicted in a variety of ways.


+ Dragons can be placed in two groups- East and West dragons, and they were regarded as either good or very fearsome and evil creatures. In ancient China, the dragon was a highly significant creature that became a symbol of the Emperor and his throne was sometimes called the Dragon Throne.  Ancient Chinese believed dragons were in control the weather and water. These creatures were said to be able to manipulate oceans, floods, tornadoes, and storms.


+ There are nine distinctive Chinese dragons and some of them are serpent-like creatures with large bodies and long heads. The dragon in China is believed to be a benign creature that is said to bring wisdom, power, and luck. They are famous for their goodness and to ward off evil, protect the innocent and bring safety to all. Tradition and celebration of New Year in China can be traced to a dragon named Nien (or "year").


+ Nien was a legendary wild beast that attacked people at the end of the old year. Villagers would use loud noises and bright lights to scare the creature away, a practice that slowly morphed into the Chinese New Year festivities. Today the dragon has its own year on the Chinese calendar. On the British Isles and in Scandinavia, dragons were often depicted as wingless creatures. In this part of the world, the dragon was depicted as a more malevolent creature that was very difficult to kill. The West dragon was wingless and lived in dark places or wells where he was guarding hoard treasures. Approaching the dragon was almost impossible because of its poisonous fire breath. Dragons in British and Scandinavian mythology often appear in stories when a prince tries to save a young maiden from being abducted by the fearsome animal. 


+ If he can slay the dragon, he can become the new King and win the girl as his bride.n ancient Chinese mythology we encounter five enormous dragon kings who were rainmakers and rulers of the waters. Four of them were stationed at the cardinal points and ruled the seas. Their chief had his abode in the middle. The five dragon kings were named Lung Wang. The dragon kings of China lived in crystal palaces under the sea. 


+It was believed these underwater dwellings were part of the mysterious Underworld that could only be reached through underground mountain caves and special secret entrances. When the Water Dragons rose to the surface the caused typhoons and when they flew through the air caused heavy raining and hurricanes. The Dragon Kings are among the deified forces of nature of the Taoist religion. A dragon's head was one of the most famous symbols of the Vikings. 


+The Viking dragon was in many ways a representation of the Midgard Serpent, a mythical sea creature who fought with the Norse god, Thor. The reason why Vikings built ships with huge dragonheads was that they wanted to appear as frightening as possible from a long distance. Vikings called their longships "Drakkar" or dragon ships and the dragon was a powerful and fearsome symbol of war.


+ Many have seen the Welsh flag features a red dragon and that the Prince of Wales uses rampant dragons on his banner. The old British word "draig," meant leader, and the word, "pen," meant head. The two words combined to form Pendragon or Pen Draig, a noble surname in early Britain as early as the fifth century. The dragon symbol continued to be used by the last native Welsh princes of Wales, Llewelyn ap Gruffydd, and Owain Glyndwr, during their struggles against English occupation in the 14th and 15th centuries.


+ The Pendragon name in Welsh literature includes Uther Pendragon, father of the legendary King Arthur.

The stories and legends of Greek Mythology have always been passed down orally and it gave the younger generation after Ancient Greece to learn from it. Even the Romans adapted the Greek myths into their version.
But we all know that Greek Mythology was something to be listened to because there was something that we can learn and teach others about knowledge. The myths were used to explain the creation of the universe that we know, the relationships that might go wrong, and do not be arrogant or you will face the consequences.
Sure, Ancient Greece civilization has ended but the myth lived on.
And who knows, you might encounter the Greek Gods themselves if they ever reincarnated as mortals in this modern era.

I have always been fascinated with the Greek myths since I was a little kid. I don't know why but Hephaestus, The God of Forges and Fire, was very appealing to me. I kind of wished that he would not be only the myth that people have always been saying.
And I should have known that be careful what you wish for.
My name is Elise Gallo and this is my encounter with Greek myth in the flash.
It was a Wednesday morning when I was sitting across the tombstone that was engraved for my father. I was still in shock when I cannot think of anything. I just got back from the grocery when I saw that my father was staying still in his chair and he was not breathing. I cried after that when I was talking to the 911 and I was still am.
I felt the tears that were running down my cheeks when I was looking at the epitaph that they engraved for my father.
'Here lies a legend, a blacksmith, a brother and a father to a loving daughter,'
I was looking at the epitaph that they had for my mother as well. I was all alone now. I don't know why I felt empty but it was never like this before.
Not when I left him when I know he would be pissed with me.
I was nodding at people that were talking to me when I was looking at the two tombstones of my parents. I don't know what I was doing right now but I was just responding to their kind words and encouragement.
It's not like it will do any good for me anyway. Just a little gesture for I am an orphan now.
The rain came and I was looking into the sky as the clouds were mundane and I was sighing in the rain as I was closing my eyes and I let them soaked into my skin.
"I guess I have to figure out on my own now," I mumbled before I was leaving from the graveyard as I don't even notice that I was being watched from afar.
A few days later, there was another shocking news that my father left me. I was in my home with my solicitor that was going over my father's business. But mostly, it was his debt.
"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" I asked the solicitor before I was putting the tea in front of him. He was clearing his throat again before he was reading off the papers that the bank was sending to my father, but now it felt down on me.
"It stated that your father, bless his soul, was in debt with the bank for 200,000 euros," he said as I was blinking before I was leaning against the chair. This cannot be the end of my life right now. What about the house and mortgage?
"Is that the mortgage of this house or was it something else?" I asked him before he was pulling another paper and I felt my stomach turned.
Good Lord!
"Well, that was the loan alone that your father was asking from the bank, excluding the mortgage on the house and the shop," the solicitor said as I was gulping the dry lump that was in my throat right now.
"And the total for all of them?" I asked him as I was crossing my fingers.
Please let it be bearable, please let it be bearable!
"Well, based on this calculation, it was almost 500,000 euros that you need to come up at the end of the month or you will become homeless," the solicitor said as I was rubbing my face. Oh God! I don't have that kind of money laying around in my savings.
"So, what are you planning to do to pay all of these debts, Elise?" The solicitor asked me as I was taking a deep breath right now.
Breathe in, breathe out. And let go.
I was staring at the papers that the bank was giving to my father and I was trying to think of anything that might be helpful for us to come with a solution.
"The forge has not been active for years. I don't know if people would appreciate the good craftsmanship any much longer. If there was only a way to restore the forge…" the solicitor before I was remembering the ads that were showing there will be a competition for forgery and swords making. I think I can sign up for that.
"What if…I tell you that I have a solution for that?" I asked him as I was smiling at him. The solicitor was looking at me with his arched eyebrows.
"Ms. Gallo, I don't think that this was legit," the solicitor said as I was showing him the ads that I found in the town square.
"Why not?" I asked him as I was looking at the ads. It was legal enough for me with prizes of 1 million euros. The solicitor was shaking his head before he was looking at his watch.
"Shoot, I am late. I will come back tomorrow to talk about the other option," he said as he was packing up his briefcase.
"But what about—"
"Not another word, Elise. We will have something much better than this to think of a solution and you have an invitation to the Caprioli clan tonight since your father and their parents were close. You might as well keep the relationship going," the solicitor said as I was scoffing at him before I was looking at his retreating figure.
I was looking at the invitation to the wedding reception of Hermes and his bride. I sighed as I was closing my eyes before the familiar red hair was coming into my memory. I opened my eyes before I was blushing hard as I can feel the heat that was on my face.
"Not that person, Elise. You know that" I mumbled before I was taking my leave for the reception. I think this debt can be worried about another day.
For tonight I will dine and eat like a queen that I was.
Well, not the queen but not eating like a peasant than I was tonight. I will be roaming in the castle of Caprioli clan, the most prestigious family in Sicily. I sighed.
Who am I kidding? I am not their circle of friends. I am not a socialite. I am an orphan that has to deal with debts in her life. I guess I have to make sure that I blended in then.

Lastly, meet Valeria who was a struggling musician until she met Loxias and asked him to teach her. Loxias agreed to do it but he asked for something in return which Valeria would be reluctant to give.

LITTLE PARADISE :

The moon was high in the sky, the forest had a mythical glow surrounding it, it was a mysterious feeling, like being separated from the world.

(The island was truly beautiful. it reminds me of home.), that is what Artemis thought as she washed in a stream, under a waterfall.

Her long green hair cascaded on her back and until just the end of her butt. Under the moonlight, her forms were like that of a nymph.

Artemis, lifted her modest breast as she examined herself and let a sigh. She didn't have much, at most she was a slightly bigger B-cup. She only had a modest 78 B. What more she wasn't particularly tall either, standing at only 164 cm.

She was very frustrated, during the night, her awareness of her sexuality was accentuated under the moon. She became more aware of how lacking she was as a woman. This was even more so since the full moon would normally come tomorrow night.

She let her left-hand trail her body, while her right hand slowly went south until it reached her most intimate part.

An incomprehensible urge to mate with him wracked her body. She hated this, she hated not being able to control herself. She even had an impulse to kill him to end this. But doing so would be truly overreacting.

It wasn't his fault if her powers were making her feel like this. At least it wasn't done intentionally. That why she would hunt him. Until now, she never keeps interest in anything she managed to hunt. Once again, once she finished her hunt, she would most likely lose all interest in him. She didn't doubt her victory one instant.

But what if it was her who lost? She remembered what he told her before leaving.

"Sadly, it's you who missed your chance. It's too soon to say who will be the prey and who will be the hunter"

The very thought of losing to him nearly brought her to her knees. Her moist eyes looked up at the moon as her right hand moved faster and faster while her left hand pinched and gently twisted her nipples.

She was close, so close. Then she once again thought about what would happen if she lost. Would he make her his slave? Binding her hands as he put her on his knees and whipped her butt for being a bad girl? 

After that, she would be made to kneel and suck on his rod as she looked down on her with a condescending gaze while showering her with insult. 

Finally, after making her out of breath, he would put her on all four, stand behind her, and... and...

She blanked out for a few seconds after pinching her little ruby while her mind played this scene. Her body was behind wracked by multiple orgasms while pleasures she never felt made clouded her mind.

Finally, once they passed, she kneeled in the water, totally out of breath. She lifted her right hand and absently looked at it. Even though it had been washed by the water, she could still feel the viscous liquid that had been on it previously.

After totally calming herself, she finished her toilet and went to the riverside where she let her clothes. Before slowly wearing them. 

She didn't fear beings watched, nor being attacked in a moment of weakness. If some guys would get off while watching her, it didn't particularly matter to her. Anyway, they could never touch her.

She already fought in many low-class wars in the army of her mother against different clan of elves before becoming the heiress of the Sagittarius. They were a bunch of bloodthirsty bastards and warmongering bastards. She always laughed when seeing how humans depicted them as some peace-loving vegetarians. 

Anyway, driad weren't exactly known for their proper dress code. You could say that, when compared to driad, prostitute wore a very large amount of clothes and could be seen as prime and proper. 

What they generally wore was so little that it always shredded during a fight, making it so most dryads generally fought naked. She hadn't been an exception to this rule, and even now, she couldn't really understand the way humans covered themselves in so many useless things. 

She only wore those dresses in order to not appear too weird. After all, when in Rome, act like them.

On the other hand, if someone dared to attack her in the night, so close to the full moon, she would let them know the feeling of being totally outmatched. The curse wouldn't be a problem since it always stopped affecting her when she was in danger. 

What are dryads you may ask? They were a very powerful clan. Their origin began from the very beginning of the myths with the Hesperides, daughters of the god-king Zeus and his aunt the titan Themis, herself daughter of Gaia and Ouranos and goddess of justice, law, and equity. The greek gods were the king of incest from the first generation.

Anyway, after the Hesperides came the dryads themselves, divided into many sub-races such as the Meliae, the Oreiades, the Hamadryades, the meliades, and the Daphnaie. 

Artemis' mother was a meliades.  Their roles were to guard the golden apple. Some of those apples were eventually stolen by Hercule during his eleventh labor after he slew the dragon Ladon. The first meliades were fathered by Appolon god of the sun, who is also the son of Zeus and a Hesperides.

In short, we have Zeus and his aunt who had daughters. One of the said daughters had a daughter with Appolon, who was, by the way, was also a son of Zeus, which means that she had a daughter with her half brother. 

If that wasn't enough, Rhea, the mother of Zeus was also the sister of Chronos, Zeus's father. Rhea was also the mother of Hestia, Demeter, Poseidon and Hades, and Hera, with Hera becoming the first wife of Zeus. A truly mismatched family. 

Artemis always wore an incredulous expression when she thought of her genealogy tree from her mother's side. Truly, at this level, incest was basically an instinct for the Greek gods. This wasn't a tree anymore but a Meli-Melo. One could only get a headache by trying to decipher it

The first dryads didn't have the level of power the Hesperides had, but they were all minor goddesses of nature. Even now, despite their decline, they were still a powerful race.

The dryads were also known as the spiritual daughter of ARTEMIS. The true ARTEMIS. The goddess of the moon, the hunt and even of pregnancy.

Her curse comes from the fact that her mother, was sworn to the service of the virgin goddess ARTEMIS. But in some unknown way, her father managed to swindle the heart of her mother and take her virginity, going against her vow toward ARTEMIS.

She let a chuckle as she finished wearing her clothes. She was born cursed as a punishment but she was also born blessed because ARTEMIS truly loved her mother. Even though most gods were bastard, some were still alright.

After wearing her clothes, she sat went towards a tree and put her back on it. The very moment she did that, her consciousness entered a new world. She was connected to the tree.

Anyone who saw this scene would only see her suddenly vanish. It was the abilities she used to avoid Emilio at the last moment. She could easily enter the tree.

Once in a tree, she could basically appear anywhere where another tree of the same species was present. It was truly a useful ability to have in a forest.

As she lay there, she began to think. The fight before was truly interesting. What mistakes did she make, where could she have done better? What abilities should have been used?

Artemis was a genius, she had a powerful constellation and her bloodline was equally powerful. Despite that, she never slacked off in training. Like the elves, dryad weren't as peaceful as most would think.

People thought that they were peaceful because of their relationship to nature. But this is this relationship that made them frightening. Nature was unfeeling. It could be calm an instant and absolutely destructive the next. It could give life, it could also reap live.

For dryads, death was nothing more than another step in the eternal cycle. Such a mentality made it so they could even watch hundreds of thousands die in front of them without feeling anything.

Artemis wasn't a full dryad, but she was raised in a way that showed that each day should be lived as if it was the last. You never knew what would cause your death. That why she was so hard working despite her superior talent. She didn't want to die. But death wouldn't listen when it came. As such she had to be strong enough to fight against death.

The first flaw comes from her using her most powerful attack without doing large scouting. She became too cocky since she thought that no one could harm her on this island. 

If her instructor saw her made such a mistake, she would have beaten her until blood come out. 

The most glaring flaw she found was her use of her concepts. On the first exchange, she shouldn't have used them to teleport her entire body. The only result was a useless hit that didn't particularly make the fighting power of Emilio drop.

If from the start she had simply used the piercing power of her guns, added to her larger reach, and different concepts, she would have drowned him in bullets before he even understood what happened to him.

Once again, this was done out of a mistake of looking down on her opponent but also a feeling of wanting to show off. In the Sagittarius family, no one dared to fight her since she became the heiress. As such it the first time in a long while that she managed to fight with people of her generation.

Despite her lackluster performance, she was a little happy. She didn't have any friends nor peers. She liked fighting, she liked hunting. As long as her life wasn't put in danger, she didn't mind the result.

This is when that happened. When she was in a tree, her senses extended greatly. She suddenly felt it. A feeling of dread seized her heart.

She went out of the tree and looked toward the sea that was far away from where she stood. Even now, despite leaving the three, she could feel it.

A heavy pressure, the feeling of being nothing in front of absolute existence. Artemis in this instance remembered the first lesson she ever learned even before being taught how to read.

"When you're in a situation where you have no hope of winning when your enemies are so out of your reach that fighting them is possible, throw your pride away and run away with everything you have."

Artemis always kept this lesson in her head. She was never shy when running away during the wars, and once again, she didn't hesitate. She tore away her talisman without hesitation...Sadly, it didn't work.

1000 years ago, the rift opened. That day, the myths came alive one after the other. gods and devils became reality.

[The gods are bastards] 

1000 years later, the world still suffers from the sequel of the rift. Walking with a valkyrie, dunking with a giant, swimming with a mermaid. The extraordinary becomes ordinary. 

Humans, the weakest, but the most tenacious races found a way to not be outclassed and enslaved. Steal and grow.

I got goose bumps as I heard the words that came out of the constellation's mouth. Those who were crazy about stories ate the stories. This was the nature of constellations.

[Death is the end of the story. Just as a cow that has become a steak can't revive, the dead can't revive. Their story is finished.]

"I know there are exceptions."

[They are false folklore. There are no exceptions.]

It was a lie. There was a saying for this in Greek mythology. "Can you swear on the Styx River?"

She naturally couldn't swear. For the first time, anger filled Persephone's expression.

"I want that crude lump of a story."

[A person who looks backwards in the Underworld will feel regret. You need to understand that the time has passed.]

If she was taking such a hard line then I had to use the trump card I had saved.

At this moment, the world turned grey. A vast killing intent filled the whole hall. For a moment, I felt that I had seen Persephone's essence. My mouth didn't open but I wanted to scream.

Souls didn't exist? Wasn't it my soul that was feeling creeped out right now? Sweat dripped down my back as the killing intent disappeared. 

Persephone smiled like nothing had happened. [Huhu... how interesting. As expected from the child that Olympus calls a singularity.]

Her small was subtly different from before. I could feel it without speaking. From now on, I could get to my goal.

"I know it isn't just that. I have seen the Giant Soldier in development in Tartarus. If you make a deal with me, you can shorten the time it takes to use it..."

[That is the story. Gigantomachia is an important issue but the Giant Soldier can be completed on time without your help.]

I was speechless for a moment. She was a truly formidable goddess. It was Persephone's turn.

I felt sorry for Shin Yoosung but this wasn't possible. My plans for the future were finished if I revealed this. Persephone gazed into my eyes to gauge the truth of my answer. Then she muttered in a strange voice.

...What? The next second, the messages of the constellations exploded in my ears.

[The constellation Prisoner of the Golden Headband is doubting his ears.]

[The constellation Demon-like Judge of Fire's eyes have widened.]

[I'm sorry but I'll end the entertainment here. I have no reason to make the deal with you. I can use other methods to find out your information.]]

The light reflected in a creepy manner off the knife. I didn't feel like knowing why.

[I keep thinking this but... you look delicious.]

Persephone suddenly approached and grabbed my chin. I refrained from pushing back my chair and smiled.

"Will you be able to handle the storm that will occur if you harm an incarnation in the middle of the scenario?"

[Hrmm. You are disrespectful. Do you think I can't afford this probability?]

"The constellations watching me also won't tolerate it."

Persephone laughed. [Do you think the king will be afraid of such trivial constellations?]

Of course, Hades deserved to be this arrogant. Still, the word 'trivial' shouldn't be used in such a way.

[The constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' swings his rod as if he has been provoked.]

[The constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' pulls out her sword with cold eyes.]

[The constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is excited and encouraging the situation.]

Persephone also pulled out her power.

[I see. Do you want to try it now?]

The ceiling of the hall started to fill with dark clouds. Red and blue sparks occurred like a thunderstorm and white flames spread throughout the banquet hall. This was the battle between constellations.

A huge aura rose from Persephone's symbolic body. I would explode if this continued.

I calmly opened my mouth. "You said you liked stories."

The atmosphere of the constellations softened for a moment at my words.

"Then how about a different deal?"

[The constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is listening to your words.]

Persephone stared at me.

"If you help me, I will show you the most interesting story in the world. A story that is incomparable to the steak you just ate."

[Does that mean I can eat it?]

"If you like gourmet meals, I think no more meals are needed. This story will be enough."

Persephone noticed what I was trying to say and laughed.

[...Are you planning to take the money without letting me eat?]

"I will let you have a taste. However, if you eat me now, you will regret it for the rest of your life."

[Why?]

"You would think it would've been more delicious if I hadn't eaten it."

Persephone looked intrigued.

[...How can you be so sure?]

"I can stand against time-defying beings without a sponsor."

Persephone's eyes shook lightly.

"I have destroyed a returnee and prevented disasters without the help of the god of this world. And so far, only five scenarios have passed."

Persephone's bit her lower lip in a tantalizing manner.

"As a living soul, I entered the Underworld and encountered you like this. Aren't you curious about what I will do in the future?"

[You speak very well. But...]

Persephone lowered her gaze and continued.

[It doesn't seem to be a deal?]

"You can call it a courtship."

[...Huh?]

I smiled.

"I'm serious. I'll show you stories you have never seen before and stories that you can't endure wondering about."

Maybe it was wrong to think about making deals with constellations. They were those bound by eternity. They couldn't make serious deals with trivial incarnations. If so, it was better to say ridiculous and far-fetched things. At the very least, it would make an impression.

Like all myths, the gods were more moved by a handful of sincere words than a hundred words of deceit. In fact, Persephone's expression wasn't bad at all.

[Hrmm, it is difficult. This is why males are...]

"Of course, it isn't courting you but courting the Father of the Rich Night."

Persephone's eyes widened at my words and she burst out laughing. She stepped away from me and slowly crossed her legs to sit on the table. Her coy eyes swept over my body.

[How interesting.]

It was frightening that she was posing like this with Yoo Sangah's body. Persephone stared into the dark air and slowly closed her eyes. It was only a moment but it felt like hours of heavy silence. I was about to choke on the weight of the silence when she spoke.

[I'll give you a task.]

It finally came.

[You want to show me an interesting story? If you succeed, I will let you find the soul you want.]

Then a system message popped up.

[A new hidden scenario has been activated.]

There were a few myths that came to mind when I heard her words. That reminded me, Hercules performed something called the '12 Tasks.' Persephone's eyes shone.

[I want to see it once. The children of Olympus often do it but I haven't been able to watch it since meeting my king.]

"What task is it?"

[Your task is to cut off the head of the snake.]

"...Snake? Do you mean the snake with multiple heads?" I asked in a slightly timid voice.

It was because 'that snake' was a 2nd grade monster. Persephone shook her head.

[I'm not talking about the hydra. Only Hercules can kill it. The snake you have to kill is somewhere else.]

"However, I can't go far because of the scenario."

[Don't worry. The snake will be wherever you go.]

Persephone lightly flicked her fingers and a screen popped up in the empty air. There was the message that the channel was connected and I realized what this screen was.

...Was this how the constellations watched us? A vast green forest filled the entire screen. It wasn't long before I figured out what this place was. It was the stage for the sixth scenario that was about to start. Wait a minute. What was this?

「 Ahjussi, pull out some of the wood over there and make a place to rest. Aren't you good at that? 」

「 I'm not good at clearing land. Dumb female. 」

I stared at the screen. The two people were the missing Gong Pildu and Han Sooyoung. How was this possible? The sixth scenario hadn't started yet? I could feel Persephone staring at me.

[How about it? Do you want to try it? It might be hard but it is a worthy task.]

I recovered my spirit. I could sense the 'snake' that Persephone wanted me to kill. I slowly nodded.

The incarnation left and darkness came to the hall.

Persephone remained alone, staring at the rest of the feast before opening her mouth.

[Clear it away. It doesn't taste good.]

Hands appeared in the darkness and quickly took away the plates. Persephone watched as the food went straight into the garbage can. Sword master, SSS-grade hunter, 10th circle magician...

She was already tired of these delicious tastes. Then a voice came from the darkness.

-Persephone. Why did you do that?

It was like the space itself was talking.

[Oh, my shy husband is finally talking.]

-I asked you why.

[Hades, you wanted this.]

-I never said that.

Persephone stared into the darkness.

[You rarely like incarnations. I think you particularly like that child. Am I mistaken?]

-Why do you think so?

[It was because you didn't kill him when he entered the Underworld.]

The darkness was silent for a moment.

[You always felt envious that Zeus had Hercules. This time, I read a bit of your mind.]

Persephone looked down at her hands for a moment before making a fist.

[Honestly, it was amazing. There were some constellations I couldn't afford to go against. They are all chasing after one incarnation...]

A screen appeared in the darkness. However, the channel's signal was unstable and the video didn't appear immediately. The darkness gazed at the screen and opened its mouth.

-There will soon be signs of the later days.

The later days. Persephone listened to these words and opened her mouth with a mixture of distrust, doubt and anxiety.

Hades didn't answer. The warm darkness just carefully wrapped around her symbolic body. Persephone felt the darkness and said.

[I am very excited to see what story that kid will show me.]

Her eyes watched as Kim Dokja moved through the darkness to leave the Underworld. Kim Dokja moved forward without looking back.

Persephone laughed lightly, as if he was cute.

Nothing was wrong until that fateful day. That day signaled the end of many peoples lives, but it also signaled my beginning. That day was when the apocalypse started. Many theories about how the world would end have been thrown around... who knew that we would be destroyed by our own creations?

Harry Potter scowled out of the window of his small room. It had been three weeks since he had seen Cedric's death and been dumped on his relatives with a pat on his back. Not one word had been spoken to him by the wizarding world since then, not one person had checked on Harry's mental health. For Christ's sake, he had just seen a friend murdered right before his eyes and no one was concerned? Harry knew that Dumbledore would most likely be involved in the politics of the wizarding world and the earliest he could see him was late this summer. It was a good thing that Harry hid his intelligence and some of his friendships from his so called best friends. He most likely would have stewed all summer and unleashed all of his pent up emotions in one go and then instantly forgiven one and all. That was probably his godfather's plan come to think of it. He knew that if his godfather had really wanted to, he would have contacted Harry. The man had contacted him when he had just escaped Azkaban and every Auror was out looking for him. The heat had died down considerably by now, so it was obvious that his godfather was ignoring him as well. Harry had given his friends and honorary family three weeks to contact him and four years to teach him about the wizarding world and his place in it. It was time for Harry to meet the goblins.

"Hello Dursleys," Harry greeted his family in the morning.

"What do you want boy, we've left you alone, now you're supposed to keep out of normal lives," Vernon spat.

"Indeed," Harry mused, "Which is why I've come to talk to you about getting your help to get me completely out of your hair for the summer if not the rest of our lives."

Vernon had almost interrupted his nephew when Harry had said he needed help, but now he was glad he didn't. Getting rid of his nephew for the rest of the summer, maybe life, oh Vernon wasn't going to pass this chance up. "Okay boy, what do you need?"

"A ride to London tomorrow and to be dropped off where I can get my school supplies. After that I will either be out of your hair, or I will need to return for a few day while everything is put together."

Vernon could barely contain his glee at the prospect, it wouldn't even be that far out of his way in the morning. "Very well Harry," He said shocking all those that were at the kitchen as Vernon rarely ever called Harry by his name. "I leave at 7:30 every morning so I expect you to be packed and ready to go tomorrow."

"Yes Uncle Vernon," Harry said and then backed out of the kitchen. Harry didn't want to push his luck and decided to start packing. The drive the next morning was silent and both occupants in the car were perfectly fine with that. No words were exchanged as Harry removed his trunk and owl cage from the car. Making his way into the Leaky Cauldron, Harry shrunk both the trunk and cage and pocketed them as he made his way to Gringotts. Since it was still rather early in the morning there were no visitors in the lobby of the bank, which made it quite simple for him to approach a teller.

"What do you want wizard?"

"I wish to speak to the representative of the People that manages the Potters account. I have much gold to spend and all can be spent at Gringotts."

This caught the attention of many of the goblins in the atrium. A wizard had just addressed their nation correctly and had promised a profit to Gringotts. This was quickly noticed by all as goblins loved a profit. "Very well Mr. Potter, I will summon your account manager for your business."

"Thank you master goblin."

It was only a few minutes later that Harry was escorted to the account manager's office as a surlier looking goblin looked down on him. "It's about time you've come to see me Mr. Potter, we were beginning to get annoyed at your ignoring of the letters we sent."

"Ah, then you must be another group that was blocked by the illegal owl ward that was placed on me by the oh so intelligent ministry of magic. Sorry about that. I have never received any correspondence from Gringotts and only the fact that I branched out with a few secret friends did I know that I had more than my trust vault."

"If this is true Mr. Potter then we must correct this wrongful act placed upon you. Drop a bit of you blood on here and we'll see what all Gringotts needs to do for you today."

Grabbing the offered dagger, Harry carefully cut his palm and allowed his blood to drop on the offered parchment. The blood was absorbed and for a few seconds, the parchment was left blank and then it began to write.

Harry stared at the parchment as he slowly digested the information in front of him. His anger was much at the blocks on his magic and the illegal wards, but what he was focused on was the confusion at the last two lines. "Oh Mr. Potter, I'm only sorry that you didn't meet me sooner as my days just got a lot more interesting," The goblin cackled. "So, I'm sure you have many questions, ask your first."

"What does it mean legacy of Greek gods?"

"Ah, I figured that would be your first one. Since you were raised by mundanes I assume one of your school lesson discussed the Greek Parthenon. Well, all those stories are real. They aren't the entire truth as many stories were mixed up through translation errors, but the gods and monsters are very much alive in this world."

"So you're saying that Ze…"

"Hold it Mr. Potter, names are powerful in the realm of Mythology and you would do well not to casually throw out names, especially those of the big three. That will just attract monsters nearby. But, yes Mr. Potter the Greek myths are alive and well today in America and I believe your next adventure awaits there."

"Very well, I learned just five years ago that there was a secret society hidden from non-magical folks, what's one more that I am thrust into?" Harry chuckled nervously. "Alright next question, what the hell is a soul leech?"

At this the goblin grew angry, and it did not help him in the beauty department, "Soul leeches are the vilest acts of magic you human wizards can make. It is a part of a whole soul that was split and to split your soul usually means the murdering of an innocent. This magic is what you would call a horcrux and no known human magic can get rid of the soul without destroying the container."

"And yet, you said human magic."

"Good, you caught that, I would not be doing business with a dunderhead. Goblins have a ritual that can remove the soul piece from you and also any other soul pieces made by the same person and destroy them. The good news for you is that we goblins do this service for free and the ritual will also remove all of your blocks and catch your body up to where it should be."

"Well, when can we start the ritual? I will pay for quick service."

"Who taught you the way of the goblins? You must have been taught for many of your contemporaries do not treat us the way we are supposed to be."

"Professor Flitwick at Hogwarts spoke of your customs and how to make the most of our time in Gringotts. He often spoke of what I was supposed to do while I sat in his office keeping up with my mundane school work. There was no better tutor for my maths. He's the only professor, other than Dumbledore that knows what I am doing."

"Ah," The goblin nodded, "Yes that would explain it. Of course, there would be no better than a goblin to explain numbers. Very well, come on they are preparing the ritual chamber now and will be ready when we arrive."

The ritual chamber was just an empty chamber. Compared to the grandstanding of the atrium and offices of Gringotts, it was honestly a bit of a letdown for Harry. Removing his clothes as he was instructed, Harry laid down in the center of the room as five goblin priests began chanting in their tongue. Nothing happened for a few minutes, leaving Harry feeling very foolish as he was lying on the ground and then suddenly he was wracked with pain. Most of his pain was centered on his forehead as wisps of green smoke began pouring out of his scar. A widespread pain wracked his body as the blocks on his magic were forced open and still Harry did not cry out. The goblins watching the ceremony were impressed by the threshold of pain Harry possessed. The smoke began pouring out and smoke also managed to come into the room notifying the goblins that there was more than one horcrux. When the green gas stopped pouring out of Harry and had formed with all that had entered the room, a quick fire spell and the soul pieces of Voldemort were gone. It was rather anticlimactic. Harry had passed out after the soul pieces were destroyed and as he was unconscious his body grew to the correct proportions.

"And all this before noon. I wonder what else he has planned!" His head accountant laughed. Pain and death was the sure way to get a goblin in a good mood.

Groggily Harry woke up and found himself clothed and laying on a rather comfortable bed. Wondering where he was Harry tried to lift his head, but found that his body was too stiff to move. "That ritual must have taken a lot out of me," Harry muttered. "Wait, the ritual! I'm in Gringotts!"

"Indeed you are Mr. Potter," The familiar voice of his Charms professor squeaked. Turning his head slightly Harry grinned as his favorite teacher sat on a rather comfy looking chair reading about the previous dueling tournament. "I'm glad to see you up Harry and I'm also glad you remembered my lesson on dealing with the People. Many goblins stopped and sung your praises my student."

"You took the time to teach me Professor, it was the least I could do to remember your teaching and reflect well on you."

"Would you believe that your mother said the exact same thing to me the summer before her seventh year? I will always be proud that I was able to teach one of the brightest witches ever and her son who comes close to her intelligence." A blissful smile made its way on to Harry's face at the short story of his older sister. Everybody had stories by the hundreds of James and although he loved his father, his mother was just as big in his heart as his father. Why the wizarding world and family friends seemed to be determined in only remembering Lily Evans as Lily Potter, Harry would never understand. Even McGonagall only spoke of his father when she claimed that Lily was her favorite.

"That is high praise Mr. Potter," His account manager said, he had completely escaped Harry's notice and was thankful he did not jump and make a fool of himself. "The People remember those who treated us with respect fondly and the late Mrs. Potter had our respect at the beginning of her second year." This grabbed a small chuckle both from Filius and Harry at the picture of the warrior race of the Nation bowing in respect to a twelve year old girl.

"Indeed, I must say Harry that this new look suits you. I had no idea how malnourished you really were." Harry had indeed grown thanks to the ritual performed. Instead of the underweight 5'6" kid that went in, Harry was now a healthy weight and stood at a respectable height of almost 6'. "I wish you had listened to me and come here after your second year."

"You know why I didn't Professor. Even though I am disenchanted with the wizarding world of Great Britain at least, I had hopes that one of my so called friends would come clean and help me. I'm sure Professor Dumbledore would have taught me if he could have gotten away from all of his many positions. But you live and you learn," Harry sighed, "Anyways, how long was I out?"

"It has been a day and a half since you entered our bank Mr. Potter, we invited Filius into the back when he arrived just few hours ago. Now, it is time to continue on with our meeting as time is money."

"Very well Master Goblin, what would you suggest be done next?"

"Harry if I may make a suggestion," Flitwick stepped in, "It might be prudent for you to have the People to invite the minister to a conference. The Daily Prophet has started a smear campaign against you an Albus. It has just started, so you may want to head it off quickly."

"Very well, Master Goblin can your Nation set up a meeting in one of you conference rooms, also can you invite Albus Dumbledore for as well, and he needs to arrive about half an hour earlier? Thank you, and now I would like to go over my accounts and I can also be planning my trip for the foreseeable future."

For the next hour figures were thrown at Harry that would make many men salivate at the wealth. With Harry's access to the modern world and the Goblin's ability to play the stock market, they tried to triple the wealth on a sixth of one of his vaults. They were interrupted when one of the goblin tellers came and informed them that Dumbledore was here.

"Professor Dumbledore, I am sorry to call you away from your work this summer, but there have been a few developments in regards to the war on Voldemort."

"Oh? My boy, do tell."

"Were you aware that I had a soul leech in my head?"

"Indeed I was Harry, and I have spent much of my free time for the last thirteen years looking for a way to remove it without you dying."

"Well, you can stop looking, for the Nation has gotten rid of my unwanted passenger and all of the dork lord's soul pieces. He is mortal now and I believe the People's shamans said that due to his core being so destabilized his followers and their families will be completely drained of their magic before he finally dies."

Dumbledore stared in shock that stretched for minutes as he slowly comprehended this tale. Finally Albus spoke again, "Harry, do you know what this means? The darkness of the world can finally be stamped out! Because you, with the help of the people of course, activated the ritual you shall inherit the vaults and seats on our government and board of governors at the school! Harry change is coming!" Dumbledore pulled Harry into a grandfatherly hug and wept tears of joy.

The two held each other in a family like embrace as both celebrated. Harry then spoke up, "The shamans said this process would take a year, two years tops before everything was said and done. Apparently I have a bit of destiny located in America with the Greek gods so, I am leaving for the summer and I don't know when I will be back. I will make it my mission to return when I can do the most good with my powers. Now, Minister Fudge will walk through these doors in a few minutes and I plan on getting rid of this smear campaign."

"Very well Harry, I know you have been hiding your intelligence so I will allow it. After this meeting I will go to retrieve a few books for you to study. When you return you need to be able to take your OWLS and NEWTS. Since you will be in the gods' domain, Lady Hecate will protect you from the magical detectors."

"Minister Fudge," Harry stated as Fudge strode into the conference room breaking preamble. "I called you here today so we can discuss this smear campaign you are supposedly working against me and Dumbledore."

"Now see here you brat I am the Minister of Magic!"

"And I am the boy-who-lived and Dumbledore has more political clout than you shall ever have. Let us remember who got rid of the last two dark lords. The goblins have proof that Voldemort could come back and we took care of all eventualities just yesterday, so I'm done. I want the smear campaign stopped so I can go on my summer vacation that could quite possibly extend for years without worry that when I come back I will be considered a nutter."

"What do you mean summer vacation?"

"I mean that I will be leaving the country. Every time I have brought it up with the members of the Nation they had grinned which has honestly unnerved me. If I like where they send me, there's no promises that I will come back to Britain for quite a few years. I cannot speak for Professor Dumbledore, but I am warning you that many of your pureblood buddies and their families will start to lose their magic if they were ever willingly allied with Voldemort. I will be back to claim those seats and Dumbledore has already agreed to help me change the world. I'm giving you notice, perhaps now would be a good time to retire and write a book to celebrate your successful career in politics."

"Cornelius, I agree with Mr. Potter quite heartily, but I know you will not listen to our advice. But, I shall warn you now that if you continue this smear campaign I will bring the ICW to investigate the ministry dealings. Leave us alone and we shall leave you alone."

"Very well," Fudge stated as he began to imagine the bad publicity from an investigation. "The newspaper will not bother you anymore, and we shall part ways here. Good day!"

Harry had to suppress a shiver as Fudge walked out which elicited a chuckle from Professor Flitwick as he walked into the room. "That is why no one but a politician can deal with a politician. Come and follow me." Flitwick led Harry down a series of paths and continued to talk as Dumbledore left to go get the books he had promised. "The People still won't tell you where you are going, but they have warned that wherever you are going, the potency of your Greek side will attract many of the mythological monsters of Greek stories. Because of this you have been granted a rare honor in using one of the Nation's time chambers. A day on the outside translates to just over six months inside. Your ancestors left you celestial bronze weapons in your vaults which is what is required for you to kill these monsters. These six months, will be under the tutor of me and another of the People as we train you in swordsmanship, archery, and dueling skills with your magic."

By now the two of them had reached a large door with a carving of an hourglass etched into it. There was also a pack for Harry containing the weapons that Filius had spoken of and some clothes that had been ordered the previous day by the goblins, for a fee of course. "Are you ready Harry?"

Taking a breath and shouldering the pack Harry nodded as the doors opened. "Indeed." Harry walked through the doors steeling himself for the most brutal six months of his life.
