This is like a classic scene in youth idol dramas. For example, two people go to the library to pick the same book at the same time. Their fingers touch one another, and the sparks fly immediately.

After escaping on their bikes Henry and Rosie managed to get to an abandoned shed to rest and check for any injuries. 

"Hey, you alright?", Henry asked
"I think so, but what just happened?"
"Umm I think we just got into a fight with a man and won, you knocked him out cold your stronger than you look"
"I think that was just a little luck and thanks for coming to help me"
"No thanks necessary I like helping Damsels in distress" Henry said with a confident smile on his face. 
"Oh sorry, I didn't get your name", Rosie said softly.

As they reached Rosie's house Henry waved goodbye and was on his way home. As he got home he fell on his bed with a thud, his mum came in. 
"Where have you been, your dinner just got cold" Henry's mum exclaimed 
"Sorry mum, I had extra classes after school so I couldn't come home till it was done", Henry said with an apologetic voice. 
"Ok go wash up and heat your food, you must be tired", Henry's mum said while leaving his room. As Henry sat on the bed thinking of what went down tonight, he was surprised at the way he behaved at the situation, that book must have some powers or something cause I don't think I could have done anything like this on my own . He took the book out and read the ending of chapter 2 which was titled "be confident" , while reading the book something then occurred to him. 
"Shit!!  I forgot", Henry said angrily 
"I forgot to ask Rosie to be my lab partner", Henry was angry with himself, then he heard his mom shout "Henry go wash up or no more video games"
After hearing those words Henry ran to the shower without another thought.

It would appear that the direction Irina was leading us was towards the main stage. The stage's location was at the heart of the large plaza, and all the seats before the stage were filled us. On the stage, it would appear that Henvle was nearing the end of his Q and A session as the host seemed to be hinting towards a closure of the session. A temporary break period will probably ensue this session, and it will be a bit longer until it was Irina's turn to go on stage.

With Irina as our guide, we were granted a pseudo backstage insight into this event. As we walked, we were always watched by security guards who would stop by and push the crowd back if they ever venture a bit too close. Even though we have been walking while surrounded by a crowd for some time now, I have yet to be used to this feeling.

"Do you..." I whispered to Irina, "ever get frighten by them?"

"The fans?" Irina muttered in response, nodding her head as she smiled. "Sometimes. Whenever I'm out in public, I'm always afraid of them."

"I guess that's the harsh reality," Muria whispered to us in a voice inaudible by the loud crowd. "No real celebrity really likes their fans."

"I can see why," Alvelyn nodded in agreement. "They're...ferocious."

"I wouldn't say I dislike my fans," Irina chuckled weakly. "I just...wish that they would scale it back a bit. But my final answer to your question, Alevian, I'm used to it."

After listening to her comments, although they sounded rather cliche and like anything a celebrity is trained to say, they appeared rather genuine when it came from her.

We soon made our way across the plaza and to the back entrance to the stage. It would appear that it was nearing the time for Irina's panel on the stage so she needed to be close by and on standby. Therefore, Alvelyn, Muria, and I accompanied her to the backstage area and waited with her. It's not like we have anything else planned to do here. I cannot say for Muria, but I am fairly confident that Alvelyn and I aren't familiar with movies with the title Grandpa Try Harder or Daddy Try Harder or Uncle Please Touch Me. Like damn...I wouldn't even be surprised if they come up with another film called Brother Give Me More.

The four of us was allowed access to the backstage entrance to the stage by the security guard who allowed us to pass after conversing with Irina. Because of Irina's words and her influence, we were allowed past without any other questioning. Once in the backstage area, which was concealed from the public area by a temporary and yet sturdy wall, we followed Irina as we made our way to the temporary dressing room, where I suppose Irina has to have her makeup retouched before walking on stage.

The dressing room was similar to the other one at the Palisia Broadcasting Station main building, with the many mirrors and lights. Hair dressers and makeup artists were on site and ready to prepare whomever was necessary for the onstage performance. Judging off of how tense the backstage employees were, this event is probably really important to the movie. In fact, after catching glimpses of the other celebrities that will be starring in Daddy Please Don't Stop, I can see why. They were all top notch actors mixed with the hottest stars in the modern generation. I don't even want to imagine how much it cost to hire every single one of these celebrities to come star in this film.

"Hey Irina," a blonde haired young man said to us as he saw Irina approach. "These are...Sorry, I only recognize Alevian..." Henvle smiled and apologized.

My eyes widened slightly as I discovered that he actually remembered my name from the last time I've met him, which was the same time in this timeline as the previous. Before this encounter, I would think that celebrities wouldn't remember the names of ordinary people, especially people they've only met for a few hours for a day. However, he remembered my name...

"This is Alevian's sister, Alvelyn," Irina introduced. "And this is Muria."

"Nice to meet you," Henvle smiled and nodded. "I'm sorry. I would shake your hands but..." he smiled and wiped his palms on the fabric of his pants. "my hands are rather sweaty right now."

"You still get pretty nervous, huh?" Irina chuckled.

"Yeah," Henvle nodded. "It's just...I can't really help it."

"Irina," a man in his mid forties called over, presumably the director for this event and the movie. "Get ready. You're up in fifteen."

"Got it!" Irina smiled and responded. Then, she turned towards Henvle. "Excuse me."

"Of course," Henvle stepped to the side and allowed Irina to pass by and walk towards her stylist. "Good luck up there. I'll be watching in the resting area."

"Thank you," Irina smiled and nodded as she sat down in the chair before the mirror to permit her stylist access to fix her makeup and hair.

"So that's Henvle Westfalan," Muria muttered to herself as Henvle disappeared from the dressing room.

"Yeah," Irina said as she stayed still and gazed into the mirror as her stylist, a woman in her mid twenties, reapplied a light layer of powder on her face.

"So what're you going to be doing on stage?" Alvelyn asked.

"I'm going to be mostly just taking about my role in the film and answer some questions and stuff like that," Irina answered. "If I recalled correctly, there's an interactive game of some kind where the host will randomly choose someone from the audience to come on stage. But it's not really random. It's an employee who will be playing the role of the randomly selected audience member."

"So it's fake?" Muria tilted her head slightly to the right.

"Yeah," Irina awkwardly smiled. "But that's kinda necessary to make sure everything flow smoothly. A lot of money was spent on filming the movie and a lot of money was spent on advertising it."

"Isn't this what we expect though?" I sighed. "We all know that things like these are the fake. So fake that they can't be even more fake."

"Where's the extras?" the director of the event stormed into the dressing room once again, looking around the area.

His sudden and angered appearance caught me off guard, surprising me. It would appear that he also caught Muria and Alvelyn by surprise as they simply stood in place motionlessly, almost as if they were dazed or some sort.

"I don't know," a man in his late twenties responded in a worried and panicking manner. "One said they need to use the restroom and never came back. The other just fucking vanished!"

"God damn it," the director cursed. "We will need them for Irina's stage panel..."

"Is something the matter?" Irina frowned as she looked in the mirror and said to the director.

"Irina," the director sighed. "The two extras needed for your panel...they're gone. Two of the most important pieces, gone... just like—wait a minute."

The director quickly walked over towards us as he kept his bloodshot eyes fixed on Muria and Alvelyn. He looked each girl over, studying their appearance and surveying each girl's figure.

"These two will work." A ray of hope shined onto the director's face. "Please, we need two teenage girls to help out during the interactive game for Irina's panel."

"Um..." Muria took a small step back, obviously frightened by what the director is implying.

"I'll pay the two of you," the director said again. "Five thousand Vils. All you have to do is go on stage when the host calls you up and follow the instructions."

"What instructions?" Alvelyn asked, stepping in protectively to slowly ease the situation back into control.

"It's got to be a secret," the director shook his head. "Otherwise the effect wouldn't be desirable."

"..." Muria frowned. On her face was a look of reluctance as she glanced over in my direction as if seeking for my help. However, I was caught by surprise as well, so I was unable to formulate anything to help her out. So, I shrugged and shook my head, notifying her that I got nothing.

"Please," the director begged once again, bowing and lowering his head. "Do it not for me, but for Irina. She needs this event to succeed, and we need it to. If this movie works as intended, it'll win plenty of awards and Irina's fame will be boosted even further. We might even end up leaving our mark in the history of films."

Damn, I thought to myself. How special is this movie?

When the director raised his head and I caught a good glimpse of his face, I recognized this face. He's a well known director in Vilheim, someone that even someone like me who doesn't pay much attention to movies would know despite the fact that I do not know the names of his films.

Muria peered over her shoulder at Irina, frowning as she contemplated something. When she turned her gaze from Irina and redirected it back to the director, she let out a sigh. That frown on her face still remained, but from the look in her eyes, I could sense that she has changed her mind.

"Fine," Muria sighed. "I'll do it for Irina."

"That's great!" the director smiled and exclaimed. "What about you?"

He turned and looked at Alvelyn.

"I'll do it as well," Alvelyn answered. I could sense that she initially wanted to decline as well, but after hearing how it might help Irina and the fact that Muria has agreed to help, Alvelyn changed her mind as well. I suppose she wanted to protect Muria if anything comes down to it.

"Great," the director smiled in a pleased manner and nodded. "Go to that woman over there," the director pointed towards a woman in her early thirties that barked orders into her radio. "She'll tell you two exactly what to do. Go talk to her, get your makeup and hair touched up by our stylists, and prepare. Got it?"

Muria and Alvelyn simply nodded their head as they were unable to match the director's fervor and energy. This man, with bags underneath his bloodshot eyes, was the epitome of sleep deprivation. However, he still moved with great vigor and spoke with much enthusiasm. It was easy to tell that he is passionate about his film. Even when he walked away, he walked at a fast pace and communicated with the different departments.

"I guess we'll go now," Muria sighed and said.

"Yeah," Alvelyn nodded. "We should hurry."

"See you two in a bit," Irina waved after them as she got up and watched as the two girls made their way towards the doorway of the dressing room to make contact with the woman that the movie director had instructed them to speak with.

"So what do I do?" I asked as I watched Irina walk over to the other door in the dressing room that I suppose lead up to the stage.

"Hey you!" a familiar and yet alien voice of enthusiasm and vigor called on me. Looking over, I saw that it was the director once again. "You want to be part of this as well? We need a teenage boy for the interactive game. You want in?"

"I—"

"Stylist!" the director commanded a stylist that was on standby. "Fix him up."

"Wait!" I cried out as my heart vacillated in my chest by this sudden turn of events in this frenzy of a backstage. "I haven't agreed yet—"

"We don't have time for you to change outfits," the director said, ignoring my complaints. "You'll have to just improvise. Just do as the host says and you'll be fine. We're all counting on you."

The director then walked away, finally leaving the dressing room. I remained standing still, recovering from this frenzy shock that I had just endured as the stylist sat me down on a seat facing a mirror and began styling my hair while a makeup artist applied light makeup onto my face.

"Sorry," Irina apologized to me.

"It's not your fault. But just exactly do I do?"

"I don't know," Irina shook her head. "All I know is that there's an interactive game, and when I asked what the game will be, the director board told me that it would ruin the effect if I knew beforehand. I'm hoping it won't be something bad like having me feel a snake or a frog of some sorts while blindfolded."

"Hopefully it's not like that," I chuckled.

The stylist and makeup artist freed me from the seat as the light layer of makeup was applied and my hair was fixed and tidied into a more stylish and fashionable style.

"It's almost time!" someone called in the dressing room, and following that prompt, Irina started making her way over to the other door in the dressing room and exited.

The road from the dressing room to the stage were blocked on either side with the temporary walls that had been erected in the plaza, and as Irina walked from the dressing room towards the stage, I decided to walk her there and see her off. Besides, I don't really know where I am supposed to be so I was deciding to stay on standby.

"Alevian," she stopped just a few steps before the stairs leading up the stage and turned around to face. "How do I look?"

"How do I look?"

She was blushing somewhat, maybe from nervousness. However, I suppose a part of it was that...this is the first time that we are alone together, and...it's not everyday that she would wear such an outfit. She probably just want my honest opinion about it, like a girl trying to appeal to her crush. But...why would anyone ever have those genuine feelings towards me, I do not know. What I do know is that in this situation, there is only one right answer.

"Pretty good," I said calmly in response. "Cute and pretty..."

"..." 

Her face turned even more red as she gazed at me with widened eyes. She seemed to be rather flustered right now by my response, but...I suppose this will simply become her fuel and lead to her performing even better while on stage. 

"Thank you," she smiled, turned around, and continued towards the stairs and up onto the stage.

I just want to point out, some of you do not know what a First Person Perspective is. This story is told in Alevian's perspective, so it is told through what Alevian sees and what he knows unless otherwise specified. 

One of you are just fucking complaining and continuing on with shit that the character relationships aren't developing at all. I just want to say, you take shit way to literally and don't even stop to think about the diction used, syntax, and the more subtle stuff in the story. You just skim through the book and don't miss all the fucking hints I've put in the book to show the subtle changes in the way Alevian perceives the other characters and the way other characters act when around Alevian and you fucking blame me for all this? Fuck out of here with that bullshit. If you can only take what is written literally and just fucking miss everything about the first person perspective and the concealed messages in the arrangement of character behaviors, I suggest you stop reading this book. I don't need you to keep complaining bout shit that you fucking missed and then trying to justify that you're right.

I'm just me. An ordinary high school boy with no girlfriend, not too many friends, and no talent.  What I enjoy doing after school is roaming around the halls, hoping that like in the cliche anime and manga, I'll bump into someone that'll change my life. Of course, nothing is going to happen. What do you expect? 

But, this APP on my phone is kind of weird. I don't remember installing it. If I click on it, it asks me to complete missions. But how the hell am I supposed to do these embarrassing tasks?

I will post new chapters usually once a day, but that is subjected to change depending on my schedule as I am a student in my final year of high school. During breaks, I will usually post multiple chapters per day.

After working for God for the past year, Hao Ren summed up his experience: everything related to Raven 12345 always had a weird side to it. Her goddess look was all a result of special effects. The smartest way to deal with the goddess was not to harp on the details. Whatever new gadget she made, you just had to use it and not ask questions, then you would be fine. If you had to agonize over the details, you would be guaranteed a place in the sanatorium by the time you were 30...
Such was the goddess who seemed to have a bunch of followers. It had to be difficult for the pope and bishops who were working for the goddess, because extraordinary writing skills and exceptional adaptability to embellish Raven 12345 would be required. One always needed to take Raven's word with a pinch of salt—so Hao Ren never intended to start a cult or anything to worship the neurotic being. He knew his conscience and sense of logic did not allow this to happen...
"We'll just use the abbreviation," said Hao Ren, glancing at the idle screen up in the air. "Let's see how this research station works. The only console I've ever used is of the spacecraft's. I've never seen this mysterious thing before."
The core area of ​​CARS was huge, and Hao Ren did not plan on going to places like warehouses, factories, and residences for the time being. Instead, he led everyone to the control center of the entire facility, where they could monitor all of the research station's projects in real time.
The control center was a very large, orthodox round hall. However, common technological equipment and metal devices were nowhere to be seen there. Instead, crystal clusters and columns of various forms were in place. These crystals seemed to be a favourite thing of the Xi Ling Celestials. The entire CARS reflected this notion. The crystal clusters and columns were arranged neatly throughout the hall as if they grew from the ground. They were the main interactive terminals there. Simple mind-matching was all it took for a rookie like Hao Ren to completely control the research station.
There was a crystal as gigantic as a hill in the middle of the contol center. It was was part of the facility's host and it was also a huge mind interaction device. There was a constant flow of complex runes and wonderful light on the surface of the crystal. Every time Hao Ren approached it, he would hear the sweet sound of a wind chime, and he would establish an automatic mental connection with it. Hence, all the interactive information from the host would be flashed in his mind.
Like most technological devices, these mystical magic devices also supported direct mind connection, which greatly reduced their operational difficulty. Hao Ren was initially worried that he would not be able to control them with his half-baked knowledge of magic. However, it now seemed that all roads led to Rome. The simplified and easy-to-understand interface had inevitably been the right choice.
He was very pleased that he did not need to understand the principles of the devices before he could use them.
Lil Pea peeked out of Hao Ren's collar and looked at the place curiously. She mumbled something before she jumped happily to the ground and scurried around. The little one had a strong body as she could simply jump down from a height of two meters with ease. Hao Ren found his worry unnecessary. He was sometimes worried that she could flatten her tail from falling.
However, her tail was flat anyway.
Seeing the baby fish run around like a headless chicken, Y'lisabet immediately followed Lil Pea, lest she lost her way. She had quickly found her position in the team; as the elder one of the two, she felt that it was her responsibility to look after Lil Pea like a big sister. Y'lisabet had been learning how to change the aquarium water from Wuyue and she had also been actively reading an aquatic book on tropical-fish farming. Her hard work paid off as her water-changing skills were now as good as Hao Ren's, and Lil Pea said that the book tasted really good.
Anyway, it was good as long as the two little ones could get along well. The elder one looked after the younger one and it lessened the burden on the adults.
"Don't run too far, and don't let Lil Pea bite anything here," Hao Ren reminded as the two little ones hopped to the edge of the hall. "And put your little screwdriver away!"
Y'zaks scratched his head. "Never mind, let me look after the both of them."
Hao Ren nodded. He then activated the giant crystal in the center of the hall rather clumsily. He did so according to the instructions in his mind to begin the connection to Containers No. 1 and 2.
The giant crystal emitted a series of crisp sounds as a series of holograms emerged around it. The largest image was of the two First Borns. The two colossal giants were now quietly sleeping in a balloon-like vesicle, and being suspended in a nearly transparent inert solution. They looked like babies sleeping in the womb. Lily looked at the images and could not help but twitch her tongue. "This feels like a horror movie."
"Yeah, we're like the antagonists." Hao Ren shrugged. "We've never looked normal anyway."
Vivian did not want to give opinion because she did not know much about horror movies—she was poor before she ever watched a movie…
The two vessels were not completely calm. After the First Borns were excavated and placed in the containers for easy observation, Hao Ren had noticed that the giant tentacles were not completely still. Some of the tentacles, mainly the ones near the ganglions, would occasionally twitch or swing a little. This could have been a form of somnambulism.
However, there was worry that these two big guys would suddenly wake up as the "lullaby" system was still keeping them hypnotized. The nerve suppressor was at the bottom of the two containers, and CARS itself had a set of broadcasting devices that covered the entire facility. The Petrachelys had already linked the "lullaby" signal source to the broadcasting system as a double security suppression system. Besides, there were huge "syringes" above the two containers. Once any First Born got out of control, a high concentration of interference pheromones would be released into the thin, inert solutions immediately.
This was a fool-proof prison. Hao Ren felt that he could use this place to detain and study any dangerous creatures he found while on patrol in various worlds.
Vivian did not quite understand the charts and data on the holographic projections. She tilted her head sideways and asked Hao Ren, "What research plan do you have in mind?"
"I want to read the First Borns' minds." Hao Ren pointed at the holographic projection of the dark red tissues. "Of course, we all know the First Borns are irrational, and probably incapable of thinking at all. Nonetheless, there was once a normal one. So, I think they still retain some memories before they went crazy. Now, we know nothing about the First Borns' body structure. We only know that they have some ganglions, therefore we're going to give them a physical check-up... to find out the functions of these organs."
"Oh," Vivian said, blinking, "that's epic!"
Hao Ren scratched his chin and nodded slightly. "We can do something else while we wait for the scan to finish."
He opened the Dimensional Pocket and several autonomous robots pushed two silvery-white boxes out.
Hao Ren stepped forward and switched on the identification device of the safety deposit box. A layer of blue light lit up on the boxes, which then gradually opened up with a series of mechanical sounds. They revealed large balls, which were glowing red.
These were the two strange spheres that were brought out from Helcrown.
Up till then, Hao Ren had not figured out what they were for, but they were obviously not batteries. Now that CARS was running and there was a huge amount of spare computing power, he could just throw the two balls in there for analysis.
Hao Ren knocked on the MDT's shell. "Send these two samples to Comprehensive Test Lab No. 1. We'll be there soon."
After the autonomous robots took the two balls out of the hall, Lily mumbled as she held her ears up. "You're studying the balls?"
Hao Ren almost choked. "...Can you sound less offensive?"
Lily flicked her tail and said, "You're studying the eggs?"
Hao Ren was at a lost for words.
At this time, Vivian interrupted Lily's train of thought. "Something suddenly crossed my mind: we can check if the First Borns have organs that similar to those spheres. Perhaps that would shed light on their uses."
When the penny dropped, Hao Ren's eyes lit up: that was a good idea!

Rowan was soon stalking mice again with his trusty basic hammer. After 10 normal mice, a special one would come. 

After the fifth special one, he no longer felt like puking when he cut open its stomach.

His loot so far was a copper ring, lesser ruby, lesser emerald, silver ring, and a lesser onyx. 

He didn't have any space in the inventory or he would have continued. 

Rowan started walking towards the stairs when he looked at his basic fletching knife and exchanged it with the cooking pot. He figured the little goodwill old Jonas had toward him now would go down the drain if he showed up with a weapon in front of him. A lousy weapon but still a weapon. He didn't want to take any unnecessary risks so he took his basic pot from the inventory and put the knife inside. 

As he came upstairs old Jonas was at the counter mumbling something to himself as he was reading a ledger. When he saw Rowan he noticed the pot in his hands and he immediately asked him.

"Are you a cook?"

Rowan looked at him and nodded. 

"That's great. I have some recipes here somewhere. Could you cook us something?"

Rowan looked scared as he replied. 

"I guess but I don't have any ingredients or cookware."

"No problem. My wife was a cook, a chef actually, and after she died she left me her recipes and her tools of the trade. I doubt you cook as good as she did but if you are willing to I will even supply the ingredients.", by the end of this outburst old Jonas went from enthusiasm to almost crying. 

Rowan could tell how much Jonas missed his wife and could only agree. 

"Here are the mice.", Rowan said as he pulled the dead critters from his inventory space. 

Jonas counted them and then counted the money. 

"I didn't realize I had so many of them. 1 silver and 50 copper. , Jonas said with a surprised face. 

"Ever since my wife and my apprentice got ambushed by those damn bandits I had no time to clean downstairs.", now it became visibly angry. 

 "It used to be my apprentice's job, may God watch over their souls.", Jonas went from being surprised, to angry and back to misty-eyed. 

He quickly came back to himself and went into a back room and brought back a book. 

"Look what you can do with this and return it when you are done.", Jonas said.

Rowan took the book and inspected it.

Rowan had no other choice but to click read next. The book opened up in his hands.

There was no introduction in the book just a list of recipes. A lot of those recipes were greyed out but he found some that had black names.

[Oatmeal with raisins] [Porridge] [Chicken soup]

He selected [Oatmeal with raisins] in his mind and the corresponding page with instructions opened.

2 cups of water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup raisins
1 cup of oatmeal

Bring the water, salt, and spices to a boil in a saucepan. Stir oatmeal and raisins into briskly boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Cover the pan, remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes. Serve with brown sugar and milk if desired.

A new hologram appeared with [Oatmeal with raisins] and a timer beside it [23:59:49] which ticked down. 

He clicked the other two and it was the same. 

He gave the book back to Jonas and told him what he could make. 

Jonas frowned a bit but then said with a proud smile: "My Lora was a great chef you know. It's no wonder most of her recipes are above your head and even if you managed to understand them we would still need the ingredients. I can only supply you with the oatmeal and porridge since I don't have any chickens here now. Chose what will it be."

Rowan thought about it and replied: "Oatmeal with raisins."

They were both basically the same oatmeal dishes just he figured the raisins would make it taste sweet instead of eating plain porridge he would much prefer that. 

Jonas led him in the back into a kitchen and gave him the ingredients. 

"Get cooking then," he smiled as he turned around and walked back into his shop.

Rowan found oatmeal and raisins in his inventory but there were no spices mentioned in the recipe there. There was also no water. 

There was an old fashioned kitchen stove and cupboards with all kinds of pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. He also found a spice rack with the spices neatly labeled. 

The kitchen stove needed to be lit but since it was a game it was basically an on-off function even though in real life you would have to start a fire with wood and wait till it heats up to use it. 

He found a cup and filled it with water from a tap which he then poured into something that said it's a saucepan and added oatmeal and raisins. Rowan strictly followed the recipe and soon the smell of sweetness was coming from the pan.  
  
He was moving the oatmeal into a bowl as Jonas rushed in and picked it up.

"Here's some more oatmeal and raisins. Make yourself a bowl too." 

Old Jonas rushed out with the same speed he came in like he was holding the greatest treasure ever and was afraid someone might steal it. 

Rowan was flabbergasted and was still holding the saucepan which was now clean and empty.

"I guess there is no need for washing dishes here. "

There was also a notification floating. 

Recipe learned [Oatmeal with raisins].

It looked like it was interactive so he targeted [Oatmeal with raisins].

Rowan made another batch and the proficiency changed to 2/10, but this time he could actually eat what he cooked. 

He looked at the result of his work and noticed a difference.

"I guess the effects mentioned in the recipe list are with maxed out proficiency."

He ate his oatmeal and it tasted ok. There was something missing but probably if he did it 8 more times it would be perfect. Too bad Jonas did not bring any more oatmeal and raisins. 

"Arrrgh. What am I thinking? I wanted to be a fighter not some lame cook in a VR game. ", the reality of his situation finally kicked in. Well, at least that was Rowan's biggest concern that he was cook not a fighter at the moment. He totally forgot about not being able to log out part of his problems.

The main character finds himself stuck in a virtual reality game by accident while his mother tries to get him back from the company that created it who want to use him for research purposes.
