"You have a nice house." Lee Changhyuk remarked as he was studying the milk girl. The private butler from the previous hotel just dropped his luggage to Shizu's place. Shizu nodded, she did say that he could stay and was beyond happy that the tenant finally did show up. However as soon as she came to the actual realization that the long-stay tenant was verily THE Lee Changhyuk himself- she was losing her mind. Shizu ran to the storage room to get slippers and bathroom amenities. Her mind went blank for awhile, she suddenly forgot her own floor plan and could not find a single thing that she was looking for. 

Changhyuk just watched as Shizu was panicking around the house to look for the amenities. His eyes were sticked to Shizu as he was amused to see the panic milk girl. He would turn his head to the right when shizu went to the right, and he would look to the left when shizu ran to the left. In her head, she was chanting all kind of mantras to keep herself calm. But as you could see... the mantras didn't work.

"Do you need help?" He asked.
"No!!"

Shizu stopped for awhile as she watched Lee Changhyuk quietly nodded like an obedient kid. Feeling bad for refusing him in a harsh tone- she quit moving back and forth aimlessly and took a deep breath to clear her head.

She then fixed her gaze on him. She really didn't mean to be rude. 'You can do this Shizu! He's just another RoomBnB guest! Except he's just THE super VIP guest that always got the first class service and private butler.'

Yes, she was slapping her cheek real hard in her mind. She was going crazy! She wondered where did all of her calmness go. Aaaaargh maybe she should have just told him to leave. But it's too late already, right? That naughty boy instantly turned into a happy puppy as soon as she told him that he could stay. She felt that the deities would punish her if she ever changed her mind! Now all she had to do was to act cool in front of THE Lee Changhyuk so he wouldn't think of her as another-annoying-GreenEast fan!

Little did she know that she was obviously far from cool.

On the other hand, Changhyuk was trying so hard to hide the amusement from his face as Shizu was staring intensely at him without blinking nor saying anything. He could tell that the milk Girl was having an endless monologue inside her head and only God knows, how much he wanted to wink at her and asked what she was thinking. But nope! Not yet! He still didn't want her to throw him out on the street just yet! The milk girl was still not opening up to him. The robotic attitude that she showed when something was bothering her head... Oh milk girl, why did you have to be so cute?

"Just rest and I'll call you when everything's ready. On this floor we have 2 regular bedrooms next to the dining room and upstairs you have the biggest room." She finally explained.

"Then I'll take the biggest room?" Changhyuk shot his brows up like a kid asking for permission from his elder sister. 

Well, instead of negotiating he did pay a handsome amount of money upfront, for the three rooms. And with that puppy eyes... YES. He could sleep in any room that he wanted. He could even sleep in one room, exercise in another room and put his clothes in the big room. If he was an amoeba she wouldn't mind if he divided himself and slept in all three rooms at the same time. Shizu nodded her head firmly as an answer and gestured him to go upstairs.

"Shitsurei shimasu. (1)" Changhyuk excused himself.

He took his big luggage and climbed the stairs. Shizu could hear hisfoot step as he climbed up then came back to where she left off. Looking for the slippers! Tokyo Katagiri Cordial Residence was definitely not a 5 star hotel but it always received a minimum 8/10 rating from the guests! Now that Lee Changhyuk's in his room she could prepare everything flawlessly and maintain her reputation as the super host! 

"Whoaa you have all of our albums! Even the Mandarin one!?" She could hear him yelling happily from the second floor.

Shizu stopped her movement for a while as she tried to digest what Lee Changhyuk just said. What did he just say? There's no GreenEast album in the Big Room. Unless.....

Changhyuk turned his head back to study the 'scrap corner' where Shizu sticked all of her personal collections which consisted of: GreenEast posters and some inspirational quotes. His white-pearl-teeth slightly gritted as he removed the cap from the barrel. Still holding the cap between that pouty lips, he put the ballpoint tip on top of a picture of himself and started to move his hand to draw a beautiful signature.

Shizu's cheeks were fuming red in embarassment.

Punch. Kick. Spin and set the stance. The fire felt good in his muscles, taut and sweaty beneath the light white robe cloaking him and the other dozen members working their way through the set on the dojo's matted floor. Cream walls pasted over with posters alternating between move diagrams and inane, inspirational showings played picture to the music's upbeat encouragement, a twist to the usual, more quiet classes.
"Feel the beat and work to it!" the instructor shouted, clapping her hands, as if the thwacking sound her calloused palms made could push her students to new heights.
But then, that's what all the classes were these days. Zhan-Yo had been coming here for years, and the dojo had been, like a parent trying to keep up with their children, reforming itself more and more to momentary fads. Pure martial arts had given ground to exercise routines with less emphasis on techniques that might get you on the wrong side of one of the myriad drones.
Who needed to know how to fight, to defend oneself, with the Paragons to do it for us?
Still, Zhan-Yo worked through the exercises with the same dutiful obedience as the rest of the class. If nothing else, he could flavor the routines with legitimate strikes, reversals, and lunges. The whole thing kept him limber, strong, and if Ziran was about to up end the world order, strength and flexibility would be useful. Not least because, if Sylvie had her way, Zhan-Yo might find himself in a room with Aegis. The thought terrified, excited him.
The music cut as the class hit its end, the instructor taking up the sudden slack to go through a retinue of cool down motions. Zhan-Yo went through the routine several times, even as most of the class stopped at one. Every extra set of years required a little more stretching to work out the kinks, and there was something pure about being the only one on the mats, the only one still working.
"Always the last," the instructor—what was her name, Chloe?—came over to him, reached out and adjusted Zhan-Yo's stance ever-so-slightly to even his balance.
A quick shut of his eyes to whisk away the irritation at being interrupted and Zhan-Yo turned to face the woman, robed in yellow to signify her role. Hair tied back, easily half Zhan-Yo's own age, but with not an ounce of fear or trepidation at approaching him. Then again, Chloe wouldn't know who Zhan-Yo was. Wouldn't know that she had every reason to tread lightly.
"I take my time," Zhan-Yo replied. "Thank you for the class. It was good."
A standard-issue compliment. Now that Chloe had broken his concentration, Zhan-Yo's mind turned to his Tama, safely sealed away in a locker, and the onslaught of work awaiting him. Polite conversation was a luxury, and now, especially now, he didn't have time for it.
"This class isn't what you want, though, is it?" Chloe didn't adopt a smile, didn't look anything other than curious. "I see the way you add on to the routines."
"Perceptive." Zhan-Yo looked over Chloe's shoulders, towards the locker room. A hint. "Old habits that I would like to remember."
Chloe nodded. "You're not the only one. If you have a minute, and the energy, would you like to spar?"
Zhan-Yo said yes before he realized what Chloe had asked. To spar. To fight with his own hands. Sure, he'd practice every now and then against some of Ziran's more adept security officers, but they always fought with a hedge, not wanting to strike their own boss. Wexley, too, used to meet Zhan-Yo for pre-dawn bouts every now and then, but as Ziran grew more demanding, their sessions grew sparse until they stopped. But beneath all that, what pushed Zhan-Yo to accept Chloe's offer was a nervous doubt, the thought that he'd lost his verve, that in the last years of trying so hard to win wars in board rooms and through press releases he'd forgotten how to do it with his fists.
Chloe aligned across from Zhan-Yo, and the two of them bowed to each other. Straightened. Zhan-Yo settled into a loose crouch as Chloe set one leg in front of her. Enough of the class remained that they had an audience assembled, sucking at their water bottles, towels around their necks, tapping away at their Tamas or, in the case of one, holding his Tama up to record the fight.
Zhan-Yo struck first—Chloe had spent the workout doling out instructions, meaning she would have more energy, endurance. The longer the session went on, the more Zhan-Yo's already tired muscles would slow down, lack the strength to knock his smaller opponent aside. Chloe didn't seem shocked by Zhan-Yo's sudden run-up into a flying kick. She dropped, fell to the side and let Zhan-Yo rocket past her. As soon as he hit the mat, Zhan-Yo dove forward, dodging Chloe's own snap kick that would have struck his side had he tried to turn around.
They faced off again. Eyes locked.
This time their hands fought the war. Zhan-Yo closed in a quick two-step and from there jabs, cuts, elbows and fists ruled. Hits and counters, blocks and hooks, each one striving for position, each of them running through their repertoire while ditching those moves that belonged to a fight with fatal consequences. Chloe kept up with Zhan-Yo for a while, letting the older man land some minor body blows, then took over, unlocking a level of speed Zhan-Yo hadn't expected. She turned aside his arms, batting them wide and then planted a dual-palmed push into Zhan-Yo's chest that sent him stumbling back.
Before he could recover, Chloe hit him again, going straight at him before spinning to the side and tripping Zhan-Yo with a low kick. Flat on his back, with Chloe's elbow planted in his chest, Zhan-Yo did the only thing he could; surrendered.
After they'd showered, Zhan-Yo waited for Chloe outside the dojo, taking the time to dash off some messages to underlings in need of direction. While Ziran needed him back at headquarters, Zhan-Yo wanted to thank the young woman for the excuse to exercise, despite the outcome. 
"There's a group of us," Chloe said after Zhan-Yo's thanks, while they waited for respective pods. "We train once a week, the old style. If you want to join in, I think we'd be glad to have you in."
"My old bones would be welcome?"
"You wouldn't be the oldest one there," Chloe replied. "We take turns teaching, too. There's a lot of tradition don't want to lose." A pod pulled up and Zhan-Yo waved for Chloe to take it. "I'll send you the details. Think about it?"
"I will. Thanks," Zhan-Yo replied.

7:15 AM and Alice wake up as she does every morning to the sound of her alarm blasting out of her phone's speakers. Alice opens her eyes and reaches for her phone on her bedside table and turns it off before throwing off her blue blanket and stepping onto the faded pink carpet that stretches across her floor.

7:45 AM, Alice has finally changed from her pyjamas to her school uniform and makes her way downstairs with her school and laptop bags that she slung over her rightsholder. She makes herself a light breakfast which consists of toast with chocolate spread and orange juice with no pulp. *Good thing I didn't go back to sleep after my alarm, we're out of cereal bars.*

8 AM and Alice is out the door with her headphones plugged in and starts to walk to school under a grey sky. *Ah crap I forgot my coat. Sky, please stay as you are for today.* After an uneventful 20 minutes, the front gates of the school come into view as Alice joins the rest of the swarm of people uniformed teens making their morning commutes to school supposedly to learn.

8:20 AM, Alice made her way to her tutor room which was in one of the rooms used for Religious Education. As Alice walks up to the room, the sign on the wood veneer door reads, "R4V3." *I just love how our room lines up perfectly to be called that of all things.*

A few of Alice's classmates are already in and sat around talking at the back of the classroom sat on some of the tables. The walls are a faded blue colour covered in 'inspirational' posters and work from the classes that come in here.

Alice takes her seat near the teacher's desk and goes for her heavy laptop and plugs her headphones in. *I got some time.* Alice proceeds to open a DAW on her computer and busts out a small MIDI pad and starts finger drumming with it. By this point no one in the room even acknowledges her.

8:30 AM, the school has officially started and the class tutor has still yet to arrive. The rest of the class are sat around talking. Alice sits alone continuing to finger drum.

8:40 AM and the classroom door swings open reviling a woman in her early forties with her blond hair tied back in a neat ponytail, wearing a blue sweater, black suit trousers and a pair of oval-shaped glasses.

"Good morning lovelies," her high pitched voice fills the room with her presence as the once chatty class dies down with only the sound of chairs clattering is heard as everyone takes to there seats.

After a while, the bell rings and just like that the class empties as everyone heads to their first class of the day. The hallways fill rapidly with students shoving one another out the way to get to class. Always a fight to move forward. Always crushed between the crowd and the grey walls. Step by step. Slowly getting closer to classes.

The first class of the day starts and the minute's tick by. Ticking by slowly as seconds turn to minutes, minutes turn to an hour. The bell rings. Time for the next class. Time to trudge through the grey halls one again. *What are they talking about?*

Next class starts and the teacher drones on about something. Words are lost to the tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock of the seconds gone by. Another hour goes and thus ends another class. The bell goes off for break time. Students rushing out of classes even more aggressively than before. *I don't care*

At break time, Alice sits alone in the library. It's quite as most people go to the computer suite. *Finally alone. Just the way it's meant to be. Now I can focus on my stuff.* Alice pulls out a drawing tablet and plugs it in while opening a plant canvas on her laptop. *No wonder this bag is so heavy.* She stares at the blank canvas, stylus in hand. Tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock. The bell rings for the start of the next class. Alice stares at the blank canvas before packing up and leaving.

Another class, another hour of blank looks at the teacher. *Why should I care in the first place?* Another bell. Lunchtime. And just like that, the class empties in a mad rush.

Alice sits alone in her tutor room after grabbing lunch. *Bland pasta as per usual. They couldn't even fill the tiny pot.* Alice sits there with the blank canvas staring back at her. The rest of her classmates are either sitting around chatting or are hanging out elsewhere. *Why do they all have to be so loud? Whatever I'll just play something instead of trying to do this.* Alice loads up a game on her laptop and starts to click circles very intensely.

After a while a couple of Alice's classmates find themselves standing behind Alice just watching. Circle after circle being clicked faster and faster. It's hard to miss the sound of the keys as Alice stricks them. Alice doesn't notice them. She keeps playing level after level. After a few the bell signifying the end of the lunch break goes off and Alice starts to pack her things before her tutor arrives to take the afternoon register.

One last class of the day. *One last hour until I can leave.* This last hour feels longer than the rest but finally, the endless drool of the teacher and students end with one last bell of the day.

Alice walks home alone with her headphones in. *Another wasted day.*

After getting home she takes her shoes off at the door and heads upstairs to her room and shuts the door. Up against the wall on the left sits a desk with a monitor and a laptop stand sat on it. She plugs in her laptop and sits back on her office chair. *I wish this thing had a headrest, and padding for that matter.*

She sits there watching videos online. Video after video plays and she just leans back as she starts to hear voices.

"Why don't you ever go out with your friends."

*Don't have any. Don't need any.*

"Don't worry about talking to that lonely little shit."

*Good. I don't want to talk to anyone anyway. I don't.*

"What are you doing with your life."

*I don't know.*

"Why do you just sit there."

They ate dinner and then both went to bath in the big tub.

I can't believe it! Lennox Nico Zevallos actually followed me back. This is definitely a sign! Could he be attracted to Millen Yu's appearance?

I tried to talk to him through direct message on Instagram but he would only say short replies or just a thumbs up emoji... it's quite frustrating, actually. If the other person isn't interested like that through text, I can't use this strategy to become closer to him.

I let out a soft sigh as I continued to browse on Instagram.

Finally, as I refreshed, I saw something interesting for once. It's a new post from Lennox!

It's a picture of him with several other people. Maybe his staff?

I liked the post and put down my phone straight away. I have to prepare for this!

Living as Millen Yu now, I've gotten used to her features. It was hard putting make-up at first because my make-up before as Ryzen Ferrada wouldn't necessarily suit Millen Yu's face that have more Asian features. Frankly, I really admire her beauty. It's soft and elegant at the same time.

I feel like slowly, as more days pass, I'm really becoming Millen Yu. I even turn my head straight away now when someone calls me 'Millen', which is unlike the first days when I've been living as her. This is crazy. 

I shook my heads off these thoughts and got ready to go out. I must really finish this mission before I get too comfortable with this life. This is not my life.

"Where you going, darling?" I heard someone say.

I turned around and it was my... I mean, Millen Yu's mother.

"Just going out somewhere... it's not a party, it's just some kind of forum hall." I replied.

Katrina Yu laughed a bit before she walked towards me and patted my shoulder.

"I know. You've really changed a lot since you finished college. I'm proud of you no matter what, okay? Don't pressure yourself too much." she said in a concerned tone.

"Mmm..." I murmured.

It's so scary how those words flew naturally from my mouth.

I shivered inwardly as I walked out of the house. These thoughts kept me busy while in the car, to the point where I didn't even realise that we were already at La Coron City's conventional hall.

It's only 5:55 pm but there's lots of people already.

They really followed the set time, unlike the usual gatherings here in the Philippines where they use the 'Filipino time excuse'. Or maybe, they're that eager to support Lennox Zevallos?

Well, if that's the case, that's pretty impressive. I knew he was influential but I didn't know that it was to this extent. He seems to be loved by the people in this city already.

The forum started first with someone leading a prayer then someone giving out an inspirational message. 

Throughout all this, I was not bored at all. I think it's quite relevant to the topic and vision they're trying to build-up.

After a few minutes more, the main star came out.

"Good evening everyone. First of all, I'd like to thank all of you for coming here to listen to my vision about our city. I believe that what separates me the most from other politicians is my strong governance perspective." Lennox started to say in front of hundreds of people.

"This comes from four perspectives: as a non-government official, a public servant, a volunteer and from my formal education in Public Administration, which is exactly what I'm utilising right now. I believe that all of these would help us implement change to our city. But most of all, I have integrity. I think that's the most basic trait a politician should have but most politicians nowadays tend to overlook that and focus on greed." he continued.

He just started talking but I am already amazed. Just from the way he talks with his deep voice, I am quite fascinated. It's like I could listen for hours because everything he says is also inspirational and touching... 

Without even realising it, I got my phone and took captures of him while he was speaking. I also took pictures of the large crowd who was listening actively to him.

This is something very unique since all the other politicians I know even invite celebrities and performers to entertain the crowd. They even do give-aways and provide freebies to everyone without actually talking about their platforms.

What he's doing is revolutionary. Just looking at him, I believe that this Lennox Zevallos have a bright future ahead of him. The way he speaks his heart out, the way he cares for the people genuinely... I won't be surprised if he becomes a great president one day.

Before I even knew it, he said his closing remarks.

"Let us forget petty politics. Instead, let us work together to implement positive reforms and fulfill our visions for a new La Coron City." he finally said, earning cheers and amazement from the crowd.

Ryzen Ferrada is a renowned young doctor in the country. She is well-known and respected in the field due to her skills and beauty. Life seems to be going well for her... until she got into plane accident.

"Nothing a few stimpacks couldn't fix," I answered in response to Preston's question.
Preston then paid me with 100 caps and 50 fusion cells for helping him with the raiders. 
Preston then looked over at me and asked "Do you want to come over to sanctuary with us? We could use your help in getting settled there." 
"Sure I would be glad to come with you," I told Preston with a smile on my face.
We then started heading back to sanctuary, I guarded the front while Preston guarded the back of the group.
When we were walking past the red rocket gas station I heard dogmeat start growling and then suddenly a group of molerats popped out of the ground around us. Everyone pulled out their weapons and the molerats barley lasted even 10 seconds under our fire. 
I then heard Preston say "Everyone lets grab the molerats, tonight we will have roast molerat for dinner"
When we reached the bridge and could see sanctuary in its full beauty I could hear Sturges say "Well look at that, this place is absolutely perfect."
When we got into sanctuary codsworth came over and asked "Are these your new friends, sir?" 
"They sure are, they are moving into sanctuary," I told Codsworth.  

"New neighbors? How wonderful!" Codsworth said in excitement. 
Everyone got settled and I went over to Sturges and asked "Hey, is there anything I could do to help?" 
Sturges had me build a few beds, build a well for water, and even get some more crops for food. 
Once I was done with all that I looked on my pipboy and found that I had 3 level ups! I was now level 4.
When I clicked the level up a screen that was very familiar to me appeared but the weird thing is that It does not belong in fallout 4, it's the leveling system used in Fallout 76. 
I had the option to choose 3 cards, I chose first aid, Inspirational, and Action Boy.
I chose inspirational to test a hypothesis of mine. 
Could I form a team with the NPC's and help them become stronger? 
I couldn't wait to find out but for now, I started building a wall around sanctuary out of the scrap from collapsed houses and the cars. When I was done a gate with two defense platforms was stationed at the bridge.

[Some Important things to know about the novel] 
In the fallout world, I will be making a few things more realistic. The changes can be found below.

I will be using fallout 76's leveling and perks. The only difference is that the maximum stat level can only be 15, which means all of the MC's stats can be 15, while perks are unlimited.  For example, my strength would be 15 while I had 30+ perks under it.

Radiation can cause mutations like in fallout 76, these mutations can be harmful or helpful. Mutations can be removed by doctors or a lot of radaway. NPC's can also gain mutations.

Headshots will usually be an instakill depending on the creature and their armor/head armor.

A huge photo appeared after they removed the wrappings. It was him holding her hand as they walked beneath the sunset.
"Mmm... Pretty good. You look a little skinny though. It seems like the wind can blow you away at any time. I like this wedding dress the most too," Mu Yuchen offered his compliments.
Xi Xiaye shrugged. "Who's going be blown away so easily? But I think you look more handsome in real life. In the photo, you look like a fairy. It's too unrealistic. Oh, well, overall I'm happy with it."
"There's another one behind. Shall we put this by the bedhead? Or the study room?" he asked for her opinion.
"Mmm, the bedroom, I guess. I don't think anyone will put their wedding photo in the study room. I'm thinking about putting an inspirational quote there." She smiled.
"Inspirational quote? What inspirational quote?" He held the photo frame with one arm while he slung the other over her shoulder as they walked into the bedroom.

The night was getting late and the car had been turning everywhere for so long that Xi Xinyi could not recognize any of the roads anymore. She just knew they had made a lot of turns in the dark. Finally, they stopped right in front of a decrepit house.
After waiting in the car for about an hour, the man in the sunglasses sitting in the front finally let her out of the car.
"Come down, Miss Xi!" The man opened the door and alighted from the car.
As she got out of the car, she noticed that it was quiet around the area and there was another black car parked by the yard.
"Mr. Wen is in the car. Please head over." The man started walking towards the car and Xi Xinyi followed behind anxiously.
The man with the sunglasses knocked on the front passenger's window and spoke softly, "Mr. Wen, she's here."
The window rolled down and the person inside pointed towards the back. With a nod, the man with the sunglasses let Xi Xinyi get into the rear passenger seat.
The lights were switched off inside the car. Only a faint light came from the street lamp in front, so Xi Xinyi could not see who was there. He seemed mysterious and dull, and he was wearing sunglasses as well. She was afraid to move around as she sat there anxiously.
Xi Xinyi clenched her fists and looked at the person in front as she asked, "Who are you? Why do you want to see me?"
"Who I am isn't important. Most importantly, Yueying is going to be finished soon," the man replied Xi Xinyi, his voice sounding hoarse.
Xi Xinyi straightened her back and looked right in front. "He said that you can help me. Are you going to help me save Yueying?"
She sounded desperate and nervous. She did not care about anything else now except for the survival of Yueying. If it fell, she would really have nothing left. Not only would the Han family look at her coldly, but that witch Xi Xiaye would also definitely laugh at her!
"Yueying is a mess right now. Saving it won't be easy," the man in front spoke in a suspicious tone. Xi Xinyi could almost hear the cold laughter from deep inside him.
She shivered slightly. After calming down, she looked at the man's back and tried to keep her cool. She clenched her fists and asked quietly, "I know it's difficult. You can state your terms. I'll be very grateful if you're willing to help me. I can't let Yueying fall!"
While she did try to keep calm, she could not hide the intention to beg in her voice.
There was no reply from the front after she made her request. Instead, there was an odd, palpable atmosphere in the car that made her feel uneasy. She then continued, "He said that you're with him and you can help me. I think you wanted to see me tonight is because of this, didn't you? Did he ask you to help me?"
Xi Xinyi sounded determined. The person before her was really concerned about Yueying as well. Since the previous scandals were known throughout City Z, after the craze went off and she wanted to expose Xi Xiaye and Shen Wenna, he was the one that provided her with help.
That person seemed to be aiming at Xi Xiaye, or was it at Glory World?
Naturally, Xi Xinyi did not care. As long as their goals matched, they could become comrades.
After a while, the person laughed coldly. "It's Yueying's misfortune to step on Glory World's tail. That person has always been this cruel. He likes to make sure there's no way out for his opponents. Yueying being emptied out this time is part of his usual practice."

"What sacrifice? Tell me how. I'm willing to do anything to save Yueying!" Xi Xinyi took a deep breath as her eyes shone determinedly.
"Don't be so sure now, but your personality is really similar to Deng Wenwen. You two prioritize benefits. I like to deal with people like you. You've got clear goals."
The man's voice sounded bitter and Xi Xinyi could feel that he was mocking her.


"Missus, time to fulfil your duties!” Mu Yuchen demanded as he pulled Xi Xiaye closer with his arms intimately wrapped around her waist.
