"Assimilation of Freighter: 100%. All systems functional," Abby sent out a notification to Abyssal. A notification that could be heard all over the ship.

"Finally!!!" Abyssal yelled out as she celebrated in glee. "I'm a proper space ship now… I can finally explore space for real!"

"Nyaa! Congratulations Abyssal!" Meica who was next to Abyssal applauded her.

"Congratulations, Master. Today is indeed a great day," Kuon gave her congratulations as well.

"Thanks. But this is only just the beginning! There are still a lot of things that we need to do and so many more things to look forward to! We need to keep trying harder! We can't let this small victory get into our heads!!"

"Yes, you are absolutely right, Master. We should not get too complacent with our recent achievement here. Best to keep a cool head and proceed with a rational thought," Kuon said.

"Yep!" Abyssal nodded and the celebration died down. Meica who heard this nodded as well, giving out a serious look.

Her tail still wagged left and right in excitement though.

"Now that the celebrations are out of the way. Would you please explain why there is a Nekomi loose in the ship, Master?" Kuon asked with a stern voice, her drone facing towards the catgirl who eyed the two drones with a curious gaze.

"Oh? You know what Nekomis are, Kuon? Tell me more!"

"Ahem. Please don't dodge my question, Master." 

"Uhhh…." Abyssal scratched her imaginary head. She then looked to the sides. "Well,  you see…"

"Master… forgive my insolence… but are you stupid?" Kuon said with a sharp tone.

"Urk!" Abyssal flinched at her words.

"You revealed yourself foolishly and then released her for no other reason than you don't want her to be caught in your plan?

"Urk!"

"What if she was dangerous? She could have destroyed you on the spot! Please think of yourself, Master!"

"Urgh…"

"What is she even doing here with us right now? I propose we lock her up in a room until we can properly ascertain her intent," Kuon said to Abyssal, not fearing that Meica would hear it.

Kuon kept on reprimanding Abyssal when suddenly Meica came in and hugged Abyssal, putting herself in the middle of the two drones. 

"Excuse me? Will you not interrupt my business with my Master. She needs to be taught a lesson." Kuon said.

"No bully Abyssal! And Meica not a bad person! Meica just wants to know more about ship-drones! Kuon is bad ship drone."

"..." Kuon didn't say anything, only stared at the nekomi with her night-vision camera. Meica replied back with her own scowl at the maid.

The two looked at each other for what felt like minutes, imaginary sparks could be seen at how intense they were glaring at each other. Abyssal was a little worried that if this goes on, the two might actually start duking it out with each other.

"Now, now, you two. Please don't fight. I'll be more careful next time alright, Kuon? " Abyssal said with an apologetic tone.

Upon hearing this, Kuon looked away and let out a small sigh. "... if you say so, Master. I won't pursue the matter any further. Please know that I am only concerned for your well-being."

"See, Meica? Kuon here is not a bad person. She just cares about me. You two get along now, alright?"

Meica looked at Kuon before turning her blue eyes towards Abyssal. She then turned to look at Kuon again. She gave a small nod before letting go of Abyssal. "My name is Meica, nyaa. Nice to meet you," she said with an unhappy voice.

Kuon gave a respectful bow towards Meica. "I am Kuon. First Mate of this ship. I am pleased to make your acquaintance," Kuon said while emphasizing on the word First Mate as if showing off her superiority in rank.

The two girls, once again, stared at each other with hostility.

'Geez, why is she so hard on Meica? Is she perhaps… jealous of Meica?' Abyssal thought to herself.

Abyssal went in between the two in an attempt to make them stop. "So Meica! What's your story? How did you get aboard this thing in the first place?" Abyssal asked, effectively shifting their attention to something else.

"...Meica was hungry. Smelled food and followed smell. Got shocked by something. Next thing that I knew, I was in the cage with the collar on my neck," Meica explained, holding her two hands over her neck to symbolise an air collar.

"..."

"..."

Both Abyssal and Kuon stayed silent as they listened to her story. They didn't say anything, thinking there was more to the story. 

There wasn't.

"Nyaa..?" Meica let out a confused voice at their actions.

"Huh? Wait, what? That's it?"

"Umu, that's it."

"No no no. There has to be more! Which planet or system are you from? Your backstory? Your life before on this ship? You must be hungry because you are poor or something, right? What do you plan to do in this situation?" Abyssal asked numerous questions to Meica. Kuon nodded at the questions asked, wishing to know more.

"I'm not interested in planet stuff or politics. I don't remember the name of the planet. Meica not from a poor family. Meica is an engineer. Was working on a plane when the clock struck twelve. Lunchtime. Meica didn't eat breakfast so I was extra hungry," Meica replied before keeping quiet.

"...and then?"

"Meica smelled food and woke up on the ship."

The room went silent for a moment as the two ship girls tried to make sense of her story.

"Interesting. A person who is even more clueless than Master."

"Aren't you being a little too mean here, Kuon? I'm not that bad… "

"I will respectfully disagree until proven otherwise, Master."

"You have a venomous voicebox, you know that," Abyssal commented.

"It is simply within your imagination, Master."

Abyssal gave a deadpan look at Kuon before looking away "... So Meica. What are you going to do now? I haven't fully explored the functions of this ship yet, but I'm sure we can drop you off somewhere or even your home planet in the futu—"

"Don't want," Meica gave a quick reply, interrupting Abyssal.

"Huh?"

"Planet is boring. Everyday is just fixing planes. I want to explore space!" 

Meica stood up and went over to the nearest control panel on the small Fierca class. More specifically the newly acquired radar. "Meica is more interested in spaceships! How does this work? Looks like a mapping device?"

She then briskly walked away from the component and moved towards Abyssal. 

"What is Abyssal? Ship-drone fascinating! Can control the entire ship via 'assimilating'. Tell me more!" Meica grabbed Kaon and started to rotate her around, looking at the drone from every angle.

"Ack! Okay okay! I'll tell you, just let me go!" Abyssal pleaded and Meica let go of Abyssal before sitting down in place, waiting for an answer.

Abyssal heaved a sigh of relief at having been released. She regained her bearings before looking at Meica. "Alright. The explanation… You see Meica we ar—"

"Just one moment, Master. A word please." Kuon interrupted Abyssal before moving closer.

"Hmm? What is it?"

Once Kuon deemed she was close enough, she turned away from Meica and started whispering: "I do not trust this Nekomi. Back in my days, Living Cores were not well known outside of the military. I suggest we do not divulge our secrets until we can really trust her. If we must, then keep our identities as Living Cores a secret."

"Ehhh… aren't you being a little bit sceptical about this? She's not that bad of a person." Abyssal whispered back, making sure that Meica could not hear her. "At least, I think so."

"I cannot say why… but I got a feeling, a tug within myself, telling me that she is hiding something from us," Kuon said with uncertainty, not knowing why she felt that way despite the lack of information given to her.

"Oh? Is that what your instinct says?"

"Instinct…?" Kuon asked, wondering if the feeling within her core was that. "Yes… I guess you could call it that. My instincts say that there is more to her than she is letting out. I think that she may even be lying about her story."

"Hmm," Abyssal let out a hum and gave the matter a little bit of thought. 

It's not every day that you see Kuon voicing out her inner concerns like that. Unlike Abyssal, she usually makes decisions based on facts, not emotions— just like a machine. There was some merit in her telling this to Abyssal. She too felt like something was off in Meica's story.

Abyssal took another look at the Nekomi, Meica, before giving a nod to Kuon.

"You see, Meica. We are actually a collection of sentient nanomachines! Our job is to explore space and maybe one day find the person who created us!" Abyssal told Meica a made-up story, hiding the fact that Abyssal and Kuon were Living Cores— ship girls. It was a story close to the truth, and yet, far from it. It was also a terrible made up story. Abyssal mentally facepalmed at not having told a better story.

"Ooohhh. So Nanomachines control drones and ship?" Meica said out in excitement.

"Yep, yep. That's how I was able to control this drone as I please and free you from your cage," Abyssal continued, unable to backtrack now. She would just have to go with it.

"Indeed," Kuon nodded in agreement, supporting Abyssal's made-up story. "The nanites are what makes us. It is impossible to kill us without destroying all the nanomachines," Kuon added another lie to the story. If one paid more attention, one could hear a slight disappointed tone in her voice.

Meica who heard this only clapped her hands excitedly. It was like watching a kid seeing a magic trick for the first time. At the very least, she bought their story.

There was a chance that Kuon may be wrong about Meica, but Abyssal will rather trust her First Maid over someone she just met.

The two previous owners of the freighter were now within an enclosed room. It was located near the far end of the freighter with no way for them to enter or exit the room. The only opening in the room was slit near the bottom— a slit that Abyssal or Kuon will use to deliver food and water to them.

As a side note, Kuon was kind enough to install a bathroom to the room. It wasn't anything fancy, just a hole with a button that will send their waste into space. Interestingly enough, Kuon also made the hole big enough for them to fit through, should they wished to jettison themselves out into space.

"Food delivery! I hope you two barbarians are doing fine!" Abyssal said out loud to the two captives in the metal room, sliding a tray of food and water under a small hole near the bottom of the room.

The moment she did that, a hand reached out beyond the hole in order to grab Abyssal. The attempt failed as Abyssal was using a large construction drone instead of her personal drone to deliver the food. Said arm was just shrugged off.

"Let us out!" Smuggler A said.

"Dammit you b*tch, I'll bloody beat you to a pulp once we get out of here," Smuggler B said right after.

"Good luck with that, gentlemen. Bye!" Abyssal said without care before leaving the place.

"Master…" Kuon who was right next to Abyssal called out. She was also controlling a construction drone.

"Yes, my dear maid?"

"Why are we letting these filths live? They are criminals harbouring the 'blue devil' and are also an accomplice of slavery," Kuon said to Abyssal. 

The 'blue devil' referred to the blue powder that was within the crates in the cargo bay. Packaged contrabands. It seemed that Kuon immediately recognized the powder for what they truly are. Her rage, when she found out about it, was spine-chilling. She was very close to just sending them to an early death. It was only due to her respect for Abyssal that the two smugglers were even alive.

'Ahh, I knew I should have jettisoned those crates when I had the chance…' Abyssal thought to herself.

"That detestable drug has destroyed millions of lives!" Kuon raised her voice, dissatisfied with her Master's decision to let them live.

"Ca-calm down, Kuon. These two will be brought to justice, I promise!" Abyssal said in a soft tone, trying to calm the raging Kuon. 

"If that's the case, then why aren't we serving them justice now?"

"Well... "

"If you don't want to dirty your hands, then let me do it," Kuon said before moving towards the room.

"No! Waaaiiit! Stop!" Abyssal went over to stop Kuon. "You can't just go around killing people because you hate them!"

"We will not kill them. We will simply put them into a pod and eject them into space."

"That's worse than just outright killing them!"

Indeed. Leaving someone to drift in space to slowly die was a fate that Abyssal would not wish upon the worst of enemies. Being stranded in space is no joke.

'Ahhh… what am I supposed to do now? How am I going to stop Kuon!?' Abyssal yelled out internally.

‘A ship is a female after all!’ The man, now known as Abyssal thought to herself.

This is the story of a man who woke up one day and realised that he became a ship. A broken ship that's stranded in space with a skeleton as a captain, but nevertheless a ship!

Now, S.A.S Abyssal (Self Aware Ship Abyssal) roamed space freely, wanting to find her purpose in this endless void. Along the way, she upgraded herself, found other Living Cores such as herself, got herself a maid, got into a dogfight, went space mining, upgraded herself further, steered through a minefield, encountered a supernova and even found genetically engineered catgirls!

Also, it turned out that there was some sort of crazed bounty hunter out for her blood! But wait there was more! She also somehow got herself involved in an intergalactic space war! 

‘Wait wait wait! What the hell is this?! What am I supposed to do now!?’

The work put his new capabilities to the test. If he hadn't pushed his Intelligence and Physics to the next level, Ves wouldn't dream about reverse engineering the alien crystals.

However, he long stepped out of the confines of what an Apprentice Mech Designer should be capable of. His leapfrogging into Senior-level Physics provided Ves with a rudimentary ability to play around with exotics.

Naturally, he wouldn't be able to match the capabilities of a seasoned Journeyman or newly-advanced Senior. The main reason why Ves maintained his confidence was because he could reference his detailed scanner readings as well as a live sample.

He carefully opened the box that held the corpse of the crystal builder he found in the crystal garden. As the supposed leader of the crystal garden, his cyborg corpse incorporated the highest quality of crystals. It varied only minutely with the composition of the crystal city, which in itself served as some sort of capital or refuge for the alien race.

Ves treated the undecayed remains with reverence and respect. "I can't imagine how many millions years it rested beneath that strange mass of plantmeat."

He tried to date the remains, but failed to do so. His lab equipment didn't come with this kind of capability. After all, why would a mech designer need to figure out the age of an alien artifact? He wasn't an exobiologist nor a treasure hunter.

All of the organic bits in the crystal-laden corpse had long decomposed into nothing, leaving only the resilient crystals that served as the body's armor and mechanisms.

Ves couldn't imagine what kind of powers these augmentations bestowed to the leader. He must have been a formidable alien when he was still alive.

He continually speculated on the alien leader's story as he studied the crystal remains. He didn't do so on a whim or because he was bored, but because he had a use for it later on. While he worked on deciphering and decomposing the exact nature of the alien crystals, he already branched out a part of his mind on the next phase of his design project.

Now that he set a vision for his rifleman mech, he was ready to proceed with the construction of the images that powered its X-Factor.

"It's been a long time since I last worked on the X-Factor."

His stint with the Whalers in the Glowing Planet campaign exposed him to a lot of mechs, but he didn't get to design or produce any new ones. He mostly spent his efforts on repairs and modifications. These situations didn't allow him to bestow any spirituality to the mechs he worked, except for maybe the Blackbeak he gifted to the Whalers.

"I wonder how my first production model is faring."

The potentially historic and priceless mech could have been saved up and sold for a massive fortune, but he gave it away without hesitation. It was a shame to part with such a valuable treasure, but Ves needed to prove his sincerity to the Whalers and couldn't bring out any other mech at the time.

He thought about asking Walter's Whalers to hand back the first production model, but didn't do so in the end. Now that the Whalers became one of the few small-scale gangs that earned a handsome reward for their efforts, they would soon grow in power and influence.

Ordinarily, such a small but obscenely wealthy gang wouldn't be capable of holding on to its assets. However, their previously-hidden relations with the Blood Claws scared away the vultures eying all of their wealth.

From the latest weekly reports sent by his subordinates, Ves remained apprised of the gang's current situation. It was no secret that they recruited a whole bunch of mech pilots and issued large amount of purchase orders for mechs as well.

Strangely enough, this time they set their sights higher. Instead of buying bargain bin mechs valued at 3-5 million mechs, they started buying more expensive mainstay mechs with an average value of 30 million credits.

Furthermore, they also ordered a handful of advanced mechs for their veteran pilots. They even placed a generous order for a handful of silver label Blackbeaks at the LMC. Ves sent back a message to prioritize the fabrication and delivery of the Blackbeaks to the Whalers.

At this point in time, the interests of the LMC and the Whalers intersected with each other. They both occupied a vital position on the sleepy planet of Cloudy Curtain.

Ves had even broken his rare isolation and initiated a call of Calsie through the isolated terminal to apprise himself of the latest news.

"Calsie, what are the Whalers up to right now?"

"They're doing a lot of things at once. The Whalers are continuously expanding their numbers. They're also upgrading their bases into highly defensive fortifications. I can tell that once they've finished their expansion, they'll start to swallow some of the neighboring rural star systems."

"That's an ambitious plan! They sure have a big appetite!"

In a time of war, the Whalers opted to spread their wings and expand their influence. It was a bold and risky action, but if they succeeded, they would no longer be putting all of their eggs in a single basket.  If the Cloudy Curtain System fell, they still had a number of escape routes available to themselves.

"How is the rest of Cloudy Curtain faring under these changes?"

"Support for the Whalers have never been higher. The increased recruitments means that a lot of locals are joining up with the Whalers. Even if they aren't very good mech pilots, the Whalers have hired a large number of trainers to shore up their new recruits. Right now, they only have numbers on their side, but after a couple of years of training, their strength will enter a whole new level."

This meant that the Whalers would transition from a small an inconsequential rural collection of thugs into a true interstellar gang. Such a shift in scope brought a lot of prosperity to the Whalers, but only if they successfully pushed out their surrounding rivals.

Ves turned to another topic once he finished asking about the Whalers. "Has anything changed in the political landscape? I don't believe the farming consortiums are resigned to let the LMC and the Whalers take over their home planet."

"I'm afraid you're correct." Calsie regretfully sighed. "The farming consortiums along with the White Doves and the Greens have been collaborating quietly behind the scenes. It's hard to keep track of their movements when the LMC and the Whalers make so much noise. Once they sprung their plan, it's too late for the Pioneers to intervene."

That sounded serious. Ves began to frown. "What happened?"

"Our opposition pulled back their influence from Freslin and concentrated all of their strengths in Orinoco. Politically, they've abandoned Freslin to the mech fanatics and the supporters of the Pioneers in favor of turning Orinoco into their bulwark. It's become impossible for us to penetrate the capital."

Ves was taken aback at this news. With the onset of war and the increased prominence of mechs, he never imagined the ossified elites who long ruled over Cloudy Curtain like their own fief to stop the bleeding in this fashion.

The more he thought about it, the more he admired whoever came up with this plan. By relocating their headquarters, businesses and supporters to the capital city, they maintained an impregnable position that couldn't be assailed.

Their decision had split Cloudy Curtain in half.

"So right now, our influence is near absolute in Freslin, right?"

"That's correct, but that's not as valuable as holding the capital. They still control the spaceport. They can implement any number of rules or collect any number of fees for every shipment that comes in and out of Cloudy Curtain."

Ves scratched his chin in consternation. "It's unlikely they'll do so immediately. They'll face a backlash if they purposefully hinder the LMC."

"That's what the Pioneers think as well. They're keeping the White Doves and the Greens in check for now, but that's no guarantee for the future."

Calsie looked at Ves as if she hoped he would relent on his stance of maintaining his neutrality. The young law graduate had always made her allegiance to the business-friendly group very clear. Ves indeed continued to retain her for her connections. That didn't mean he was inclined to change his mind.

"Monitor the situation for now and inform me of any changes."

Ves cut off the conversation and threw the local situation from his mind. Right now, what happened on the surface had little bearing on his work in the labs.

His studies into the crystals had progressed to formulating different compositions of crystals. Using the machines in the lab, he produced more than a dozen attempts to reproduce the essence of the alien technology.

He didn't have any high-value exotics on hand, but the lab did come stocked with all manner of regular exotics in regular supply. All of his attempts so far resulted in outright failures. Every crystal he cultivated so far ended up as brittle as glass. If they possessed the strength to propagate a laser beam, then they only emitted enough energy to light a closet.

"Difficult! Difficult! Difficult!"

Ves did not expect to succeed in a single day, but he hoped to make an early breakthrough. The more time he wasted on trying to get this gimmick to work, the more he delayed to completion of his second original design.

He set a solid deadline for himself. If he couldn't produce a satisfactory result in two weeks, he would abandon any plans on implementing this gimmick in his design.

In the meantime, he continued to ponder on the construction of the images.

The Triple Division technique lay at the root of his current methodology in fostering the X-Factor in his designs. The strongest result he had ever achieved only scored into the C's. Ves had always strived for breaking through the invisible barrier that held him back from scoring a B.

Right now, his recent breakthroughs in spirituality showed him a light in the dark. It remained a possibility for now, but the idea in his mind presented a possible way to finally break through that persistent barrier.

"The Triple Division technique is a way to superimpose three distinct images into a single amalgamation that's stronger than the sum of its parts. Although it's not possible to stuff three material objects into one, the rules in the imaginary dimensions are much less strict."

The three images consisted of the base model, the totem animal and the human myth. Up until now, Ves treated the latter two as something completely within his mind. He could invent any number of imaginary creatures or persons with the traits he desired.

However, their strengths remained largely in his mind.

He only deviated from his pattern when he used the Triple Division technique on the Blackbeak. For the human myth, he took inspiration from Jackknife Jake, the deceased captain of the Velton Myrmidons of Moira's Paradise.

The aquatic planet lively mech scene and intense underwater mech duels had a profound effect on Ves, and Jackknife Jake's tragic ending inspired Ves to incorporate the captain's dauntless courage into the Blackbeak's human myth.

Ves hadn't thought about it at the time, but now he realized he missed a precious opportunity to elevate the human myth.

"The realm of the imaginary is powered by thoughts and emotion. Something which only exists in my mind can only hold so much strength. What if I use an image that's shared by many, or carries the weight of history?"

Ves eyed the miniature husk of the crystal leader that had endured a countless number of years. How many aliens looked up to this leader? How much influence did this alien wield in his lifetime?

When Ves focused his sixth sense on the corpse, he could faintly sense a desolate flavor. The ancient alien corpse carried a unique strength that Ves hoped to borrow for his upcoming design.

What would a rifleman mech look like if it carried some of the spirit of a long-dead alien leader?

Humanity has conquered half the galaxy and the Age of Mechs reigns supreme!

Ves Larkinson lacked the genetic aptitude to become a famed mech pilot. Fighting against his fate, he studied mech design in order to express his love for mechs as a builder instead of a soldier.

When Ves graduated from college, he returned to a new but empty boutique. Left with a small, newly founded mech workshop that his father painstakingly built with a mountain of debt, Ves somehow needs to make ends meet with the bank breathing down his neck.

In the midst of his despair, he found salvation from another legacy his father had left.

"Welcome to the Mech Designer System. Please design your new mech."

After a while of talking at the local pub, Mei decided to finally ask the question she was thinking about for a while now 

"So where can I stay? Also how does earth- I mean this area work?? Like how do people behave, and just what is the world like?" Ah why can't I think of a better way to ask what I want to know?? I don't want to be to obvious!!

Kitt had completely forgotten about where she could stay, let alone the fact that she has no idea where she was.

"Oh, well I guess you could stay with me, and I can show you around the area tomorrow, I'm going to call an Uber real quick so he could drop us off at my place.

"An Uber? What's an Uber?" 

Kitt was surprised that she didn't know what an Uber was, but he decided to just get accustomed with being surprised when Mei was around.

"An Uber is where someone drives to your location and picks you up in their car, and takes you to your destination." Kitt thought that he provided enough information for Mei already, so he pulled out his phone to call for an Uber. Just before he called an Uber driver, Mei spoke up.

"What's a car?" Back on her home planet, Lysteria, there was no need for any cars— since everyone had a way to get around easily using their abilities

Heading what Mei just asked, Kitt failed on not being surprised, as he dropped his phone "WHAT? YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A CAR IS??" 

Mei didn't understand that he was shocked, so she replied politely "yes, so could you please tell me what a car is? And also, what is this thing that you dropped on the ground? I've never seen any of these things before. As  I said earlier, I'm not from around here, so I don't really know what these foreign objects are... "

"....." Kitt was frozen. It felt like she wanted to give him a heart attacking, surprising him so suddenly over and over again. 'How. In.  The. World. Does. She. Not. Know. What. A. Car . Is. I'll just ask her where she's from, I'm sure that'll answer ALLLL my questions, and I won't need to worry anymore.. haha ha a....'

"Mei, can I ask you something??"

"Sure, ask me whatever you want!"

"Where did you live before, y'know, your boss shipped you over to this area??"

Mei didn't know what to say, and since she knew nothing about humans, she decided to just say the name of her home planet. Surely these humans have no idea of what lysteria is, right? If they did, then they would know that us monsters exist.. but they obviously don't.. why not??

"Oh, I grew up and lived in lysteria! Haha, you see, from where I came from, we don't know what any of these things are!" 'That's a perfect answer, right? Now he might not question me anymore!'

Kitt knew what lysteria was, it was very popular to discuss about and some people had said that that was where monsters lived, but these were all fantasies, right?? Make believe stuff?? Imaginary? Lysteria definitely did not exist and it was definitely not another planet where monsters lived... 

"Kitt? Hello? Are you there?" Mia had no idea of what she was putting Kitt through, but she just really wanted to know more about where she was and what it was like on earth.

Every single sentence Mei had sent felt like Kitt was being stabbed over and over again. 'What.  The. Absolute. Heck. Monsters are real. Lysteria is real.  The person in front of me is a monster. My whole life is a lie. What's the meaning of life?? Why was I born?? And why did I have to meet a monster. At least I have seen and partially lived through a good story before my end. 

Then, Kitt uttered a couple of words "n-no way.. monsters a-aren't real.. 0.0" 

Then, Kitt fainted and fell to the ground.

There's no way any ordinary human could be able to accept being told so much shocking stuff in such a short period of time. 

Mei was way to harsh without even realizing what she was doing.

I waited patiently as the little mouse before me continued to stare at me. To be honest, I was enjoying this moment. It's not every day that I get to see someone so cute. (Although I would probably run away if he was in his Human form.)

For example in Rusukaina Island, Luffy wasn't able to defeat some animals even using his Gear fourth.

The difference in physical strength can be overcome by Haki or by long years of training. Unless Rey opens his third gate, he won't be able to defeat the Fiery Ape. 

He also knows this, that's why he is using the Ape as a training partner to increase his combat strength which will help him in dealing with some strong pirates.

It's been one year since Rey was mercilessly tossed to this Island by Garp. And, it was also the time Garp comes back and pick him up as he mentioned.  

In this period of time, his combat skills improved and so was his Soru and Geppo. With his current strength, he should be able to fight some strong pirates with bounty. 

Even if he faces some pirates with a bounty of 100 Million berries, he will be able to battle and retreat without any problem.

Apart from that, he found out that after opening his 2nd gate, he will be able to exponentially increase his combat strength for 1 minute using the pure energy which was stored in his 2nd gate point like the original Eight gates technique but the side effect is he will be weak for a period of time.

"Is the Heavenly God is really dead?" Rey asked, not able to imagine the strength concerning the master of this old man.

"I didn't particularly choose you, at that time you are the one who died at a perfect time for me to choose and survive." Old man Nile bitterly said. 

"Now, I can only rely on you to revive me. Only when you reach a God level, you can create a physical body suitable for me. I can only help you in providing the knowledge but you already know most of it."

Am I really transported to that Primal Chaos Dimension or is this a illusion. One second I was lying on my study and the next I am here, in this...cold body.


Ah I get it, as per the story of Against the Gods, Yun Che was poisoned before his marriage.


I pitied him when I was reading but acting such a part is not a sweet experience at all. My whole body is numbed for god's sake. It doesn't feel rejuvenating to have a already cold body.

The whole dragon was as untouchable as the clouds. It was ethereal and yet possessed a real force unlike any force seen on the Primal Chaos Dimension.


It has a body resembling a Eastern dragon with smaller whiskers and a more healthy build. Small wisps of Dark Ice which seemed to capable of even freezing the Profound Energy. It was dark blue coloured dragon with black talons and large jaw. As it exhale icy winds swept across the Forgotten land of Samsara and as it inhaled the whole air stood still in obedience.


It's huge body spanned over 100s of Kilometres. First thought came into the mind of maiden was that it was smaller than Azure Dragon God which was actually true.


But she failed to notice that the so called little dragon was moving in the shape of infinity before looking towards her.


How can a little Immortal comprehend the true meaning of infinity, Essence of a Eternal Being.


After going through the initial shock Shen Xi prepared to get into fight with it. Only thing which held her back was that the Dragon was not hostile. towards her.


It threw a indifferent gaze over her and she looked looked down hurriedly in fear. Her body involuntary trembled as she appeared like a child caught doing misdeeds from her parents.

What to do? If I go to that Soul Cleanser whatever Realm my memory will be erased and be born again... as a baby? Does that mean that I need to learn Alphabet or Mathematics argh that shit is so troublesome. Hmmm so I guess I will become a Universe God? Well that sounds awesome. I mean will I look like those in the novels that I read? Being strong, having powers and controlling the laws of the World or whatever?

Okay the settles it then "I choose to be a Universe God"

For my body I decide to have a slightly long black hair that gives off white lights. I'll have sky blue eyes and red lips. Slender hands, my height will be 6'5 feet. I will have fair white skin, 4 pairs of wings on my back and every wings would have a white and black part. For my clothes I'll have a blue long robe and lastly a long blue scepter with 3 different gems on it. One white, One black and the last one is a combination of black and white.

So I should make a Solar System now and to do that I need to use Universe Energy or the energy that is in every Universe that only the Universe God can use. And umm I practically have unlimited energy but I can't use it all, I need to make my Soul stronger (Even though it is already an Universe God Soul) eh why? Oh because it is like mana on those magicians in the story they can do magic with the cost of mana and if they run out of mana they can't use magic anymore. Me on the other hand have unlimited energy but the strength of my soul will decide how much I can use. It's like the mana on me is my Soul. And to make my soul stronger I need to make my Universe Stronger, the strength of my soul is directly proportional to the strength of my Universe.

Okay first things first can I please have a Status Screen please system? Praying to God (although I am a God myself) that the system will have mercy and grant me my wish

But I do not have a name yet. Since I am the Universe God, the God that is the origin of this Universe, The God that is the source of everything I shall call myself Genesis!

So Demi-Gods and Gods pertain to the Half-God and Gods that my Universe have. They can control laws in my Universe which is a lower type of power than Universe Energy. Faith Power is the power that came from the worshippers in my Universe and Faith Power is used by the Gods to have Divine Power which is a higher form of power than Faith Power but lower than Universe Energy. Faith Power cannot be used by the Gods unless they put it in their Divine Vessel to be purify and contain their Godly Imprint and it will turn into Divine Power that is needed to use the Universe Laws.

Well those things are for the Gods that will Ascend in my Universe me on the other hand will have the same amount of Faith and Divine Power that all the Gods have (or all the Faith and Divine Power that my Universe contain) and I can convert it into Universe Energy with a ratio of 50 is to 1 for Faith Power and 40 is to 1 for the Divine Power. By the way I will also need to convert Faith Power for it to become Divine Power but unlike the other Gods that needs to do it manually all I need to do is to store it in my Soul and it will be automatically converted into Divine Power.

Okay first I need to build a Solar System and it needs a Sun. Well, I'll just make a sun like those in my previous life (or memories that I have) but I will add some things on it. It will be round like my previous sun but it will have two slanted rings on it, it looks like a circle with an 'X' on it.

I look at my status screen and it showed that I lose 30 points of Universe Energy. Tch Am I too weak? I lost a quarter of my energy just by making a single sun?

So I really am to weak, I guess I should really train now. I thought that I am now a God and I do not need to train anymore to be strong, I guess I am wrong. But first I need to make a Solar System, I'm afraid that my Universe will really be destroyed because of those strange energies clashing against each other

After sun is the moon, I made the moon like a big block of ice that gives off frosty light to light up the night. And lastly for a basic Solar System I need to make planets. Looking at my now 50 points of Universe energy I think I won't be able to make many planets, but I should be able to make at least two.

For the first planet I decided to make it like the earth in my memories but it is 50% land and 50% water and it is 10000x bigger than earth because this would be one of the Prime Planets that I will make. This is a planet of balance, a planet that is not too good or harsh. This planet is the first planet of this Universe and I shall call it Planet Primus!
