"Belinda Xui, why are you back late?" I hear a very stern masculine voice says behind me.
"Al..Alpha, I am sorry. I got held back at the company because of the tour and I had to wait until Ms. Lu left in order to leave the office," I say as I bow my head. 
"Are you okay?" he asks but more in a warm tone.
"Yes Alpha, just a little tired but I would be ready to start training with you in a few minutes," I tell him.
"No need to, you must be extremely tired from all that walking throughout the company. I am not really unreasonable so you can rest for the rest of the evening. However, don't let it happen again in the future," he says warmly but also with authority.
I turn to look at who this Alpha is but instead I only see the master bedroom door closing. I let it go for now because I know I would have to see him on Saturday anyway to discuss and go through the reports. However, this is my first official job after finishing my degree and I don't really know what to do. I hope Mr. Fu would be in the office tomorrow so he can show me what are the things I am looking for.
After some time I get up from the sofa, taking my hand bag and my shoes in my hand and head to my bedroom. I then take a shower and change into some pajamas before combing my hair and then heading to the kitchen to prepare something to eat. 
To my surprise there is a dish cover on the kitchen counter. I walk over to the dish cover and raise it to see a delicious chicken salad with a fork. Next to the plate is a note, I unfold the note to see written, 
'Ms. Xui, for your hard work today, please eat. There is also a glass of juice already prepared for you in the refrigerator. Also in your private study, it have your laptop, phone, tablet and an notebook. Have a healthy meal, work hard and a peaceful sleep tonight - Alpha'
I take the plate of chicken salad and put it on the island before heading to the refrigerator to get the glass of juice. I then slowly eat my salad and drink my juice before washing the dirty dishes. I then head over to my personal study and look at the electronics that I have received. Each of the electonics have the same symbol which is an eaten apple. I look at them all as I just play with the symbol remembering back in university all the other students would talk about the most expensive and best brand of products it have.
I open the iMac laptop which unlocks with the scan of my finger print, the same with my iPhone, iPad and the iPod. I know the Alpha must be rich in order to create an entire city but I didn't think he would spend so much for the latest model and most expensive brand of electronics for me. I cautiously pack the items in a neat pile to take it together with their chargers to my room. I take slow steps to my room so that nothing would shift and fall from my hand.
In my room, I place them on the bedside table before climbing on my bed. Once I am my bed, I pick up the iPhone and look at it, the screen comes on and request my finger print. I scan my finger and it unlocks. I notice some icons on the top left side of the phone, I touch it but nothing happens, I swipe from the top downwards and I notice that each icon stands for something. I read what the icons are for, the first being for messages, I notice the number four is next to it. I press to see what is the message. I notice that the message box opens and there are two names one being Alpha with the number three next to it and the other being a wiPay message. I open the wiPay message first and it says that two thousand and five hundred pounds have been debited to my account from an account number. 
I then look at the messages from Alpha. The messages read as such,
'I have deposited twenty five hundred into your account in case you decide to buy meals from the cafeteria, or buy grocery for the apartment. It is also for you to buy some working and sleeping clothes according to your liking.'
'If you don't understand how to do the reports you can always contact me through any one of the devices because they all have my contact information saved.'
'You didn't have to be so cautious with the items. Anyway, don't get to loat away on your new devices and go to sleep early and get enough rest.'
I keep pressing back until I am out of the messages. I pull back from the top to the buttom, the message icon in gone, the next icon is for facebook, it turns out to be a notification to show that I have successfully created an account. The next icon is twitter, the same kind of notification. Then there is a system notification showing whatsapp, messenger, facebook, twitter, hangout, instagram, wiPay and snapchat has been successfully installed by playstore.
I entire playstore to see all what it have until I start to see some novels apps, I instantly start to install webnovel, wattpad, novel cat, aristory, comic cat, dreame and kungfu books. I love to read and I could always find myself reading myself to sleep at nights. When webnovel has finish installing I start to look for books I can read my first being 'The rebirth of the strongest empress,' the second 'The nanomacer reborns,' the third being 'The high school prince is a girl,' the fourth being 'I accidently married a fox god' and many other types of romance, mythical and game novels.I open 'The rebirth of the strongest empress' and start to read. The book is going so good that I just keep on reading chapter after chapter until a notification showing I get a whatsapp message. I open the message which comes from the Alpha,
'Why are you still waking? It is after twelve. If you don't go to sleep now I will personally put you to sleep, do you want that?'
I instantly reply, 'Sorry Alpha, I was lost in the phone for a bit. I will go to sleep now,' and press send. After the message is gone I close the phone and lay to sleep at once.

Why did I write this story? Dahil inspired po ito ng real high school life ko. PERO sa real life, hindi siya ganito kasaya. Hindi rin happy ending. So sabi ko, why not baguhin ko nang super ang istorya ko? Baka magustuhan ng mga tao. And 'yon nga! Nagustuhan niyo nga. Although some parts of this story did really happen in real life, mas lamang pa rin 'yung fictional lang at nabuo lang sa malikot kong imahinasyon. 

Dapat may part 2 pa 'to (senior high school life), pero bakit tinapos ko kaagad?  Kasi kating-kati na akong tapusin siya! Hahaha gusto ko namang magmove on sa panibagong istorya. Pakiramdam ko kasi parang nakakasulat lang ako dahil relate ako dito eh. So susubukan ko ang galing ko sa ibang istorya naman. Tsaka, tama na rin 'yung pag-iimagine hahaha!

Ano ba talaga ang nangyari sa REAL LIFE ko? Soon, isusulat ko rin po 'yung totoong istorya ng buhay ko. But not now po, okay? Kasi kahit ako abangers pa rin sa magiging ending eh. HAHAHA. 

Kung mababasa man 'to ng real life Sir Terrence (which is 'di naman Terrence ang pangalan) gusto ko lang magsorry. Sorry sa pagmamahal sa kanya? Kasi parang ang ano talaga no'n eh. I should love him as a second parent lang 'di ba? Pero heto, gumawa pa ako ng nakakalokang istorya. Pero ganoon talaga ang life eh. Thank you na rin sa kanya kasi kung wala siya, edi wala rin 'yung story na 'to. Wala rin 'yung readers ko. Tsaka don't worry kasi darating din 'yung talagang leading man ng buhay ko <3 bata pa naman ako (18 years old).

Review: This is one of the few novels that I always come back to read, the character development is one of the best I've come across in genre, the characters are realistic, the relationship is realistic, no unnecessary angst...the female lead's growth through the story is amazing, she starts off in a bubble of sorts where she sort of absorbed in her own world, the bubble burst (pretty quickly) and she goes through one of those periods in life where it feels the world is against you and it just seemed like your life is spiraling downwards...she grows exponentially after this and matures a lot, all the while building an interesting friendship with the male lead...the leads are witty, funny, practical and their conversations are just so interesting...that I keep coming back. Please Read!!

"Yess ! So muchh !" I look to the whole room and there's an artwork that captivated my eyes.
"Like that love ?" I nod. 
"Yes, it's so unique and I'm really amazed." I said in sparkling eyes. The artwork is entitled 'Un alma' means One soul. This artwork depicted an angel who's in vivid light , he has a bow and throws down the arrow and it hitted between the hands of the couple who's ready to turn around with each other and be departed. I can't explain it clearly but all I feel is a hope between them. The message of this painting is really cool. I hope I can buy that the other day :(( 
Time runs so fast and It's already 9pm. After strolling at the gallery shop ,we go to the nearest coffee shop and talks about random stuffs.

"Should we go now love ? It's really late right now you should be resting by this time."
"Yeaahh I'm really tired but It's worth it"
"Hahaha I really love how the way you're eyes sparkling."
"Whatever hmmp! Just finish that and let's go." I stand up and turn around to look for his car
"Okay let's go I'm done." He grabs my hand and walk on our way to his car.
"Get in." I hop in and he closed the door as soon as he get inside too. He drives and the silence really brokes my eardrums so I talk.
"Love , what if we're not for each other?"
"What's with that question? Haha."
"Just answer ! Grr."
"Hahaha okay okay, then I'll fight for our relationship." He simply answer
"Then?"
"Nothing more, why?" I rolled my eyes 
"Nothing, just drive." He smile and says;
"No matter how hard it could be , I'll still stay no matter what. I'll fight until the end. I court you for a years and I pass it , so I'm sure I can make it lifetime. We can make it. I will not promise that I cannot make you cry but I probably sure that those tears are not for heartaches." After hearing his speech a single tear flows out from my eyes. Why am I so lucky with this man ? Like , I'm a mess and he is completely perfect. An ideal one. 
He stops the car and stares at me. 
"Hush don't cry kitty hahaha." He hugs me tight "I love you more than I say. I love you more each day , Halcy." This time I burst into tears. I can't hold it anymore. All my fears are gone. I feel safe in his arms , like no one can ever hurt me. I hug him so tight and cry as hard as I could.

I woke up with a swollen eyes. Whew It seems that I can't cover it with just a concealer, why do I cry that much huh? I get dressed and looks at the mirror, you're still gorgeous Halcy. Remember that. I walked out to my apartment and drive my car. I miss him already :(( 
I get out of my car and walks through the grass. A man wave me a few meters away. I smiled to him and walks as fast as I could.
"You're late Ms. Halcy."
"Sorry I'm late." I bitterly smile.
"You went here yesterday isn't it?" I just smile 
"You cried so hard Halcy, how could I explain that to Daniel huh?" 
"Sorry , I thought I can manage it but .. I cannot." My eyes become teary 
"Hush." He hugged me "wherever my brother is, I'm sure he's not happy to see you that messed up." I burst into tears. 
One year. He's gone one year ago today but It's still a pain. A great pain.
Is it true ? That you're not happy seeing me like this love ? Help me, please ? I want you to come back. I want to feel your love so bad. Even if it's impossible. When the time comes , I want to hear your lovingly laugh again. And when that time comes, I am with you.

A beautiful artworks have a really deep meaning

In Jun Wang's study room, Xianyao is currently reading the reports from his spies in other neighboring kingdoms when he suddenly stop sensing that One is back.

"Report."

"The two women are indeed from Vice General's residence, one is the first maidservant of Qi Chen's only daughter named Xue and the other one is his daughter herself Qi Xiuying who recently woke up from coma. Her fiance Long Guanting grandson of Left Prime Minister Long hired assassins to kill her one year ago but failed, currently no one in Qi Fu knows that she recovered..."

"Go back and protect her." Xianyao interrupted One's report, he didn't care seeing the flabbergasted One when he said to protect Qi Ming's sister. 

"Yes master."

After One disappeared he tried to concentrate on reading the reports but stop after recalling the woman's light pink lips that always held a gentle smile when looking at her companions, her eyes that seems to hold secrets that he wants to unfold. He wants her to be naked in front of him, no pretenses. He wants to know all her secrets and he can't believe that he is reacting this way to a woman who a year ago seem insignificant to him. He remembered seeing her when she was in a coma, her pale beautiful face that time didn't provoke his protectiveness but today seeing her eyes... hearing her voice... he is starting to feel that a cage is starting to build around him specifically around his heart and he is not comfortable with it thus he decided to have One observe the lady.

One reported what the woman is up to on daily basis. He heard that she seems to like staying either inside her courtyard's kitchen or receiving area when she is attending lessons. Even Qi Ming and the old man keep on sharing things about the beloved di daughter of Qi Chen. His friend told him how his sister came up with business strategies or the desserts she made that have weird names, cheesecake, macarons, egg and custard jellies aside from the tea she brews with flowers like lavender, lotus, chrysanthemum, butterfly pea and the recent one mullein which helped the old man recovered from his breathing problems.

Each time he hears the report from One he wants to visit her personally and observe more. Xianyao didn't notice the black lines that appears on his forehead every time he sees the amazement in One's eyes as the shadow guards report.

After a month of hearing the reports he decided to see everything himself. When he arrived near the woman's courtyard it was already nightime. He silently approach behind the maid who is guarding outside the bedchamber and hit certain acupuncture points to have the maid fall asleep.

He went inside the bedchamber and sees the woman sleeping. This past month he was distracted that he can't finish the tasks given by his brother and easily getting distracted while reading the reports. This woman is a hindrance in executing his plans. 

'Should I kill her to stop the distraction building up? However doing so will anger the old man and Qi Ming...'

He was about to leave as he is undecided what to do to her when she heard her mumbling words to not leave her behind and she'll be a good girl.

Feeling stressed on how to make the woman to stop having nightmares he started to roughly pat the top of her head. Eventually the woman stops mumbling but still have a pained expression on her lovely face. Thinking that maybe he pats her head too hard he started to try his best to gentle, he didn't notice that as Xiuying's face relax his lips started to have a gentle smile and his eyes revealed a glint of satisfaction in making the woman sleep well.

After few hours he decided to leave reluctantly, he is satisfied in staying beside the girl but he needs to go or her reputation will be tainted. He fixed the duvet to cover her body only to show her head before gently run his fingertips on her left cheek.

'Since you are distracting me you better distract me for the rest of our lives...'

She blankly stares at the unfamiliar ceiling. 'Didn't I die?! I'm sure I did cut my wrist, I felt it! I watched my blood flow before I blacked out! What's happening?!'

Her name is Raine, she doesn't have a last name in her previous life since she grew up in the orphanage. 

Died by her own hands...now given a new life. A life in ancient time.
