Hello people, my name is Ezra Rommel I am a 20 year old, live to listen to music and play games and read. Let me tell you guys something, no before I tell you something let me ask you a question.

You are living in the world, as a human, ignorant to everything that is around you and is going on around you with normal people going on about their normal lives along with you who is supposedly normal living their supposedly normal life without a shred of doubt or care, but while some says ignorance is a bliss, you must remember that there things out there you must never be ignorant off, especially of other people, people with skills, with power, with talents, with intentions, with supernatural. But what would you do if you are one with such abilities, talents, skills, supernatural and you are ignorant of it yourself? You don't even care that you are able to do, see or hear things that all the other people can not do. Well you would call yourself an idiot that's for sure but that is a whole other thing that one would do while they are doing self introspection.

But me, I, on the other hand have such a weird ability that I sometime wish that I shouldn't have it, an ability which actually, well it's not a curse, but it's not a blessing either, but I have this ability, I had this for as long as I could remember, ability which make me things know that I shouldn't possibly know.

I can dwell into the future.

And could dive into the past

And then I could live it again.

What do I mean by that? Well it's more complicated than it sounds. Let me explain my ability to you guys in a much normal manner.

You know how people go to sleep at night, or the naps in the day or if you are too lazy anytime of the day, and you have dreams, sometimes of choclate castle, sometimes of money, sometimes of fame, sometimes of a girl and if you don't have a girl friend, a naked girl covered in choclate on a bed made of money in a castle of glass, if you are into that.

Well those are normal dreams.
In my case, I don't dream of that.
I could never have dream like those.

Reason.

Because I always end up having dreams of future and past and if I am not having that dream and it's just a dreamless night.

Now you might be thinking that if I had a dream about future how I could I live it again.

Well answer to that question is because I am not just dreaming, its more like I am living that dream, which means if I die in that dream I am actually feeling myself get killed by a person or by a natural reason. That actually happened a few times. I died in my dreams. I was just happy that it was not a next day happening dream and it would take a few days for that to happen. Because let me tell you feeling of death or having a feeling that you are dying is not a good feeling at all and could affect ones mind in a worst way imaginable.

Now the worst part of the ability, I may or may not remember what happened when I woke up until something that ties in with the dream happens around me and make me feel as if it had happened to me before, like déjà vu. For example I sometimes would get dreams of my exam and the question paper I will get, including the questions and sometimes the answer that I am going to write. Which means I got the questions and answer of my exam but I won't remember it, not until my friend decided to mention of what might be important in the upcoming test.

Exam and tests are not the only thing I am able to see, I see a lot of things from deaths to danger, which how much I try, I am not able to avert it, it's as if it's fixed that if something bad was supposed to happen it will happen.

Well truthfully telling you, I am able to avert few dangers but I cannot help if some of them are jumping in and out of the danger on their own accord, so yes, while I could save them, I cannot save them if they are coming of the fire and then decided to jump into the frying pan again not a good feeling. Back to my ability, yes, so I get the feeling of déjà vu whenever something like this happened and I can avert it if said person is not doomed from the beginning, if they are even I am not able to do something.

And my past seeing ability.

Well it's much more weird than me being able to see the future. It would be fun if you are able to dream of your own past, me on the other hand will dream of the past of sometimes other people like how and what my friend was doing last summer while he was on the other end of world. It is not a good ability if you somehow end up seeing few things you should never see, the worst part is whenever I am dreaming about someone else past, it's like I am living it, his or her life again, and also die if you are living the dream of a dead man.

Difference between my future and past dream is one simple thing. I may or may not remember the dreams of future I might've. But I do remember the dreams and memories of the past.

Again not a good thing to do or have.
I had this ability for as long as I could remember.

But I never actually thought it was an ability, just that I've been having dreams where I am able to see question paper or I've dodged an incoming truck that could've ran over me. I never knew that it was an ability where I am able get a glimpse of future or that I could see the past of someone else. Those were just normal dreams that I had.

Not until things happened.

Families were in danger.

People were out for blood.

And I would end up being in the center of it all.

Until the topic they were trying to avoid was mentioned. Muntaha! The two girls fell silent. One was curious while the other felt nervous. She was used to consulting her sister in everything but this was the first time she had to talk about love with her. 

Rumeysa lowered her gaze as she played with her fingers. Humeyra on the other hand waited patiently. She knew from experience how hard it was to talk about someone you love. 

Eventually, Rumeysa started to talk." I met him for the first time at the park. He sat beside me on the bench but I didn't pay much heed to him. It was my nonchalance which made him talk to me, I believe. 

The moment I heard his voice, it irritated me. I don't know why it did but his voice just lit my temper . I sassed at him and left him on the bench assuming that it was the first and last time I get to see his face. 

If only I knew how wrong I was, I would have avoided sassing at him. Unfortunately, it happened and that was how I became his target. Then after my kidnap, I felt comfortable enough to keep challenging him not knowing that it was what attracted him to me. 

This continued until I had my monthly visitor. You know how painful my periods could be. He took care of me through it all. He fed me, (she smiled), he dressed me and changed my..." she stopped talking,blushing. She felt as if she was relieving the memory as if it was just yesterday. 

Humeyra looked amused as she watched Rumeysa's blushing face and fidgeting hands . "Ahem! " she cleared her throat. Rumeysa got the cue to continue her story. " he took care of all my needs until I was able to do them myself. 

As he took care of me, I got accustomed to his embrace and caress from time to time. I got used to gazing at the stars with him, eating and chatting with him. My initial grudge melted away slowly until there was almost none left. 

The final blow was him taking a bullet for me. Though he told me about his work, all I could see was a man who bled and hurt like everyone else. My heart beat for him then. I swore to protect and love him. 

Yet, whenever I thought of the restrictions put in place by religion, my heart ached not wanting to accept that I wont be able to call him mine. He cemented his name on my heart with all his kindness and care even when he was known and feared as a ruthless mafia boss by his people. What should I do Meyra? How can I be with him?" 

Looking at a confused and love sick Rumeysa, Humeyra recalled how Hamdan rejected her confession the first time she told him about her feelings. She had felt so heartbroken and helpless . Yet , Allah had brought them together and made them a pair. Something she almost gave up on. 

" you know little sister, love needs patience and sacrifices. It doesn't need much to fall in love but it takes a lot to stay in love. In the process, you might lose a lot, make more sacrifices than you have ever made in your life, give up things you love, lose hope and what not. 

It's like fighting an internal war between your heart and mind. One is ruled by what is logical while the other only wants what it wants. We both know that Muntaha is not a Muslim. You know as well that a union between a Muslim woman and a non- Muslim man is prohibited in Islam. This , I do not need to remind you. 

What I can tell you , however, is that as much as your heart craves for him, pray to Allah to make this test easier for you. Have faith that everything will be alright. Don't give up on him. He might be a professional killer but I am no different. No one is too righteous to judge the other. We all have our flaws. It's in our imperfections that we find perfection. 

Make a lot of Dua( supplications) for him and for your self. Remember it is only Allah that guides whom He wills and leads a stray whom he wills. Take heart though. You will get him if Allah wills. " 

Rumeysa listened carefully to her sister and felt relieved. It was true. There was nothing impossible in this world. Every thing is possible at the appointed time. She just had to be patient and prayerful. She thanked Humeyra and left the room . 

Back in her own room, she removed her clothes and went into the bathroom to take a hot shower. As the water cascaded down her body, she closed her eyes and thought of the man who gave her the freedom she deserved even when he was in love with her. 

She pictured his big rough hand caressing every inch of her body. From the crown of her head to the tip of her toes. She recalled his broad chest and the tight hold of his hands on her waist. She let out a moanful cry as she got lost in her fantasy. She missed his presence, his voice and his scent. She missed his care and the warmth in his eyes whenever he looked at her. She missed all of him so much. She sat down naked in the bathroom and cried her heart out. 

"Ya Allah, please make it possible for me to be his!" She prayed silently. She eventually composed herself and left the bathroom to dress up and sleep. As she drifted off to sleep, the last person on her mind was her captor. A smile was evident on her lip as she dreamt of him. What price does one have to pay for love?

We ask Allaah to protect us and you from all bad and evil things and to divert from us and from you the plots of the devils among mankind and the jinn, for He is the best of protectors and the Most merciful of those who show mercy. 

With regard to what the sleeper sees in his sleep, it falls into three categories: good dreams which come from Allaah; bad dreams which come from the shaytaan; and what a person is thinking about. 

Good dreams are those in which the sleeper sees good things; they come from Allaah. They may be meant as good news, or warning against evil, or helping and guiding. It is Sunnah to praise Allaah for them and to tell one’s loved ones, but not others, about them. 

Bad dreams are those in which the sleeper sees bad things; they come from the shaytaan. It is Sunnah to seek refuge with Allaah from them and to spit to the left three times, and not to talk about them, but if a person does that it will not harm him. It is also mustahabb to turn onto one’s other side, and to pray two rak’ahs. 

It may be that what one sees is not a dream of either of these two types, rather it stems from what one is thinking about. This is called confused dreams and it stems from events and fears stored in the memory and subconscious, which are replayed during sleep. For example, a man who works in a certain profession and spends all day working in that field, and before he goes to sleep he thinks about it, so he may see things having to do with it in his dream; or one who thinks about someone whom he loves and sees things that have to do with that person. There is no interpretation for these things. 

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Towards the end of time, hardly any dream of a Muslim will be false. The ones who have the truest dreams will be those who are truest in speech. The dream of a Muslim is one of the forty-five parts of Prophethood. Dreams are of three types: a good dream which is glad tidings from Allaah, a dream from the Shaytaan which causes distress, and a dream that comes from what a man is thinking of to himself…” 

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: 

The meaning of the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “The dreams of the believer are one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood” is that the dreams of the believer come true, because they are like parables that the angel gives to the one who sees them. They may tell of something that is happening or that is going to happen, so it happens in accordance with the dream, so these dreams are like the wahy of Prophethood in that they come true, yet they are different from it. Hence they are one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood. 

Majmoo’ Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (1/327). 

The dreams of the believer are described in the ahaadeeth as “true” and “good” and “from Allaah”. What is meant by “true” is explained in the words of Ibn ‘Uthaymeen quoted above as meaning that they come true. What is meant by “good” is that they bring good news or draw attention to some mistakes that one is not aware of. What is meant by their being “from Allaah” is that they happen by His grace and mercy, or as a warning or glad tidings from Him, or as guidance from Him. 

Bad dreams are described as “causing grief” or being “from the shaytaan.” What is meant by “causing grief” is that they make one sad and cause distress. What is meant by them being “from the Shaytaan” is that they are instilled by him in an effort to cause fear or because of his toying with the sleeper. 

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: 

Alarm comes from the shaytaan. The shaytaan depicts to a person in his sleep things that alarm him with regard to himself, his wealth or his family, or in his community, because the shaytaan loves to make the believers sad, as Allaah says: 

“Secret counsels (conspiracies) are only from Shaytaan (Satan), in order that he may cause grief to the believers. But he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allaah permits” 

[al-Mujaadilah 58:10] 

Everything that causes distress to people and upsets them, the shaytaan is eager for it, whether it is when they are awake or asleep, because the shaytaan is an enemy as Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): 

“Surely, Shaytaan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so take (treat) him as an enemy” 

[Faatir 35:6] 

Majmoo’ Fataawa al-Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (1/329). 

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught us what we should do if a person sees something in his dream that he dislikes and wakes up as a result. It is: spitting dryly to the left, seeking refuge with Allaah from the shaytaan, turning over, praying if one wants, and not telling people about it. 

We should point out an important matter, which is that if a person is righteous and strives to obey Allaah always, he will not be harmed if he sees or is seen (in a dream) in a situation that causes distress, but if he is an evildoer and sinner in his real life, then he will not benefit from seeing himself or being seen in the best state. 

Ibn Muflih said: 

Hishaam ibn Hassaan said: Ibn Sireen was asked about one hundred dreams and he did not give any answer except to say: Fear Allaah and do good whilst you are awake, and whatever you see in your sleep will not harm you. 

Al-Adaab al-Shar’iyyah (3/451). 

And he said: 

Al-Marwadhi said: I brought Ibraaheem al-Humaydi with me to meet Abu ‘Abd-Allaah, and he was a righteous man. He said: My mother saw [in a dream] that such and such happened to you, and she mentioned Paradise. He said: O my brother, the people used to say such things to Sahl ibn Salaamah, and Sahl rebelled and shed blood, and he said: Dreams may bring joy to the believer but they cannot deceive him. 

Al-Adaab al-Shar’iyyah (3/453). 

Conclusion: 

There may be warnings in a dream to the person or to others, of some mistake that they are negligent about, or some sin that they are committing, or of a bad end if they continue as they are, following deviation or misguidance. This cannot be the bad dreams which come from the shaytaan’s plots and efforts to cause grief, rather they come from Allaah by His grace and mercy. So if a person sees something in his dream which indicates that he should alert and warn others, he should do so. The same applies if he sees something that warns and alerts him (i.e., he should pay heed). 

You can warn your relative about a possible plot or evil that is expected, without mentioning who may be behind this plot. If you are worried that something bad may happen, then you should take precautions, and nothing will harm you in sha Allaah, even if what you fear happens. But if what you feared did not happen, and the dream did not come true, no harm will befall you because you did not speak badly of anyone and did not transgress against anyone. 

And Allaah knows best.

Broken hearts and lonely souls, they all were familiar to her. Witnessing the massacre of her entire family was not something anyone could survive. She did.  The world was never merciful to an innocent little girl. Attempted rape and murder, she became well versed with them all. 
Until there was no other option left than to grow up before her age was ripe, She had to protect herself from the cruel world while at the same time plotting to take revenge for her family. 
What should a lonely soul choose between finding someone who can fill the space in her heart, fix the broken pieces of her soul, and take away her nightmares, and revenge for her family?
Humeyra turned her back on the world until cupid struck with the arrow of love. It was love at first sight for a soul that had been an empty shell for more than a decade.
Unfortunately, the world had to interfere: Making it hard for her once more. Hamdan was engaged to marry another. Unreciprocated love, a traumatic past, and complicated health status, could she take it all?

"I'm sorry, Lunox," Vexana mumbles as she gazes over the still silent Lunox beside her who was examining the sunset before them.

Lunox looks at her with a small yet sad smile on her face, "I remember everything now, Vexana."

Tears were threatening to fall from her eyes.

"Leomord and I, no matter how hard we try, will never end up together. Because that's just how the stars and fate had wrote our book," she sadly mumbles, her eyes now trained to the sunset before them.

"And just like how the sunset ends the day before us," she quietly mumbles, "our story has now come to an end."

Vexana only stares at Lunox's face. How strong of her to just accept her fate like this...

"For that, I thank you," Lunox said.

Vexana looks at her questioningly.

"Thank you for stopping the both of us from committing the same mistake we did, decades ago. Thank you."

Although Vexana just met Lunox, she still felt sad for her. For the both of them. For their love that was forced apart by fate.

"But, Lunox, there might still be hope—"

"There would always be hope, yes. But we should know when to hold unto hope and when to let go. In our case, we had held unto hope for so long, that we had forgotten to let go. We've hurt so many people, and wasted our lives. Leomord and I, settled for the little things life gave to us. And these little things, just so little, gave us enough hope to hold on," Lunox sounded so hurt while saying it.

Vexana only listened, not knowing what to do or say.

"If ever he and I will try to pursue something that's forbidden in this life once again, more people will get hurt. And he, may even die," Lunox trails.

"Though, you should know that Leomord is already dead, right?" Vexana tries to lighten the mood by joking.

Fortunately, Lunox laughs.

"And that is because of you," Lunox looks at her before smiling, "and I thank you for that. But, you get what I mean."

Vexana nods before returning to her serious face once again.

"I guess, the only way for all of you to safe once again, is for me to return and become one with the Twilight Orb again," Lunox says after moments of deafening silence.

"Huh?" Vexana's eyes widen, "I don't understand. Why were you sent back here—"

"Same. I don't as well. Yet..."

Vexana waits for Lunox's answer. Why was she sent back here? For nothing?

"Do you believe in past lives?" Lunox asks, before laughing.

"Oh silly me. Of course you do. You were the one who made me remember.

"Anyways. Have you ever experienced strange, weird dreams?"

Vexana shakes her head.

"Dreams? We always dream. Strange? How strange?" Vexana is completely confused of whatever Lunox was saying right now.

"Strange dreams like... dreams that tell you something of your past life. Yet, things that you do not remember," Lunox said.

Vexana shakes her head. No. Never.

"How lucky of you, then," Lunox laughs, yet it was the sad kind of laugh. The heartbreaking one.

"Sleeping in your castle, might have triggered some memories time and fate had tried to bury through oblivion," Lunox began, "and because of this place, I began dreaming of my memories back then."

"Karmic dreams. These are dreams that show you of your memories from your life before you now. These dreams only happen to show themselves to people who have not achieved Nirvana in their past lives.

"Nirvana is perfect happinness. In order to live peacefully in your next future lives, you must achieve this, because if you don't... if you leave the world with problems and sufferings still trapped inside your heart, Samsara is what will happen to you.

"Samsara is the indefinite repeated cycles of birth, death, and misery caused by Karma. This is what happened to both Leomord and I. We left this world as Leo and as Luciera with heavy hearts, that we have now been granted Samsara... or bhava tanha," Luciera whispers the last word with such bitterness in her tone as she remembers the dream she had once as Luciera. The dream she had the night before Leo and her got caught.

"What is bhava tanha?" Vexana is now lost with whatever Lunox had said.

"Bhava tanha is the desire to be born into different lives in this world, repeatedly. This was our only desire, Vexana. To live in different lives repeatedly until we get to finish our tragic book with a happy ending.

"Now look what that desire had brought to us," Lunox pertained to their lives now.

"No matter how many years had gone by. No matter how much time had been wasted, we will never get to end our story happy," Lunox now had tears streaming down her face.

"I was supposed to be the Enlightened One, the one blessed with good karma. Yet, this is what happened to both Luciera and I," Lunox cried, "we don't get our happy endings."

Vexana only patted Lunox's back, not knowing what to say again.

It was a long stretch of silence before Lunox decided to break it.

"I will do my duty properly this time," Lunox announces, catching Vexana off guard.

"What do you mean?"

Lunox smiles before looking at the now dark sky, "I believe this was fate's plan, once ahain. To make me wake from my slumber and meet Leomord again. This is the way of rubbing it into my face that we would never really achieve our long awaited happy ending.

"But even if I don't, I will sacrifice my happiness for you and your people's, Vexana," Lunox said.

"What do you mean?" Vexana repeats, still confused.

Lunox secretly smiles before stepping away, "I'll return to the Twilight Orb and regain peace between Chaos and Order, once again."

Before Vexana could even utter a word, Lunox has now gone to the place where everything had started.

Maybe, it is there would she achieve her lifelong dream of Nirvana.

Maybe, it would hurt her so, to let go. But she decided to bear in mind her duty. And that is to make people happy, nevermind her hapoiness.

And maybe, it would make a great place to end their story.

How much time will you waste just to be with the one you love? How many tears should you have to waste just to be with them? Are you willing to wait that long?

What if you were fated for something else? What if... your destiny is broken?

Before you read this, I want you to close your eyes and travel to the back of your head. While your mind is travelling there, are there any small thoughts, dreams or considerations trying to grab your attention? Depending on who you are, they're either glaringly obvious, or cautiously trying to poke you along the way. Either way, most of us just stuff them back in their little dark corner of our mind until we feel like we can handle pursuing or listening to them.
That's what I've been doing for most of my life. My hopes and dreams weren't realistic, not achievable or sustainable, is what I told myself every time they appeared up from their prison. I want to be a writer, and to live some place other than Denmark. When I looked at how to achieve this growing up, somehow my mind always told me that it wasn't possible. That I needed to build a career, start my own company, make a lot of money and then, but only then could I pursue my dreams. Anything earlier than that would only lead my life to a total failure.
I convinced myself to live for a future me that might never exist instead of cherishing the current me.
If you're reading this, I bet you're doing something along the same lines. Much like myself, you've convinced yourself that what you're doing now is bearable because at some point it will allow you to shift focus to what you want.
Well, I'm here to tell you that you're wasting the best years of your life in the hopes that it will somehow, by magic , make your dreams come true.
If you don't follow them, they'll never happen. You'll never find a better time than right now to take the chance and jump into the abyss. It won't be pretty, it most likely won't be comfortable, but it's the only way you'll achieve what you're really meant to do. The beauty of it is that once you make that jump, you'll see doors open that you never thought possible because you'll be working towards it even when you think you're not.
I recently decided to take the leap. I always wanted to live in another country, so I decided to travel to some of the countries I had considered. One was Norway which resembled Denmark a bit too much for me to feel like I had actually gone anywhere, and the other was Spain. I'm currently sitting in the plane on my way home from Spain. I had nothing planned going down there other than to visit what little family I had and look around for plausible ways to move there. Little did I know that even without any plans I would end up landing a job that would help me get all paperwork sorted and multiple living arrangements for the first period.
The people around you feel your passion, they're inspired by it and will do what they can to help you keep it alive.
How did that happen? Some would say that I was lucky to be at the right place at the right time but quite frankly I think that's bullshit. When you want something, when you truly want it to the point where you can feel it in your bones, you're a completely different person. You can't help talking about it because you're so excited, it's filling you up to the point of overflowing, spilling into the people around you, the people you talk to, spend your time with. Passion like that can't be ignored, and I guarantee you that if they can help you in any way, they'll want to. It's inspiring to see people like that. I know, because I meet them every day, and I do everything I can to help them just like the wonderful people who met me during my vacation helped me.
I'm not trying to say that everything will just be a cakewalk from then on and that you'll never have to work a day in your life. I worked my ass off during my vacation to try and get this to succeed. Instead what I am trying to say is that if you do decide to follow what really ignites your fire, it won't feel like work. It will feel like you're becoming the person you were always meant to be. You'll want to work your ass off, make sacrifices, do whatever it takes to make it happen and in the end, no matter the result, you'll know that you gave it everything and that you have nothing to regret.
It is possible to allow yourself to flow in the right direction, relinquish control and slowly feel yourself drift towards the people who share your interests, people who can help you, people you can help. Instead working against the stream you're working with it and things will feel easier, more manageable, maybe even easy at times.
What I'm trying to say with all this, if I am trying to say anything at all is that what's the risk? What do you really have to lose? If you try and succeed, great! If you try and figure out it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, you've grown as a person, and I'm sure you found something along the way that'll make your next journey even better. Should you happen to go through an entire life, chasing your dream but come up empty, write me and tell me how wrong I was, but I am quite confident that it won't come that far.

It was normal for Nika to walk home after work. She did it everyday like routine drill. She had to if she wanted to lose all that weight. She was fine with how she looked. But others are not that understanding ofcourse. She can't count the number of times people told her the same old lame line, you will look so much better if you lose weight. And she often wondered what being beautiful have to do with size. You are either beautiful or you are not. You can be slim and still be average looking. But that's just Nika's thoughts. She was always the one with most unpopular opinions and always stood with the minority. For her it was her usual boring purposeless evening. But life had something else planned. Something she never thought in her dreams would happen to her. After all she was just a simple girl with simple dreams, who was self aware and knew what she is capable of and what she looked like. Never did she ever overestimated herself. So her goals were also in the same line. And so were her dreams. Nika was walking home as usual oblivious to what was going to happen next, how this night was going to change her life forever.

Chapter one
The Call of Destiny
New Delhi, India. 1997

It was a crisp Friday afternoon and the sounds of clapping and whistling coming from the auditorium meant people were fully enjoying the matinee show. Action movies were the flavor of the decade and an India-Pakistan war movie with a stellar star-cast was a sure-shot recipe for success. The movie was nearing its climax when thick smoke started gushing into the auditorium through the gates and air conditioning ducts. Smoke rapidly filled the auditorium as people started suffocating. The electricity tripped and auditorium was immersed in complete darkness. A complete pandemonium broke out as people started running here and there. There were no emergency lights to guide the people in the pitch darkness as they rushed towards the exits. Narrow gangways blocked a swift evacuation which resulted in a stampede. Men were shouting, women were screaming, and kids were wailing. A young girl, aged three to four years was trying to escape with her mother when she was consumed by the stampede. Her shrieks echoed around the auditorium, and inside Vikram's brain as he screamed and woke up from his nightmare.
It was the latest addition to the series of those horrible nightmares which he lived every other night. Every time, there was some new tragedy, varied scenes of pain and suffering, almost always resulting in horrible deaths. Accidents, calamities and death, that was all that his dreams consisted of. Slowly his life was becoming the same, a never ending tale of wretchedness.
Though these dreams, as his grandpa always insisted, were just nightmares, they felt so real that he couldn't shrug them off. Each of these nightmares would haunt him for several nights on a trot. Then during daytime, he would keep thinking of it, replaying it again and again in his mind, trying to get some answers, trying to find a meaning behind it, until it stopped for a few nights. It would then be replaced by a completely new nightmare and kick-start the whole process again . It looked like an unending cycle of misery, a jinx on his happiness, a curse on his life. Gradually it had started to take its toll on him. Slowly he was slipping into depression.
The next morning, he told his grandpa about his latest nightmare.
"Nightmares are nightmares," said Arvind to his grandson for what seemed like a millionth time, "you don't waste your time thinking about them."
"Since last five years I am seeing these gruesome scenes. You told me that as I grow up, these nightmares will stop. All that has happened is that they have become more vivid and detailed. It feels as if I am part of it. I just don't see them anymore, I live them."
"Stop thinking about them and they will stop haunting you," suggested Arvind.
"Same old answers. Same old suggestions. But they don't help," said a visibly agitated Vikram.
Sensing that there is no more logic in continuing this discussion, Vikram took a newspaper to read. His grandpa swiftly snatched it away from him, "all this news-papers will do is make you feel more miserable and depressed. You already have enough on your mind, and you are better off without this".
Vikram agreed that he was better off without any more tensions. Arvind had methodically kept his grandson away from newspapers and news channels, arguing that they were sorrow-mongers who fed on misery and distress, and it was always better to avoid them. Only time Vikram could lay hand on a newspaper was in evening after Arvind had thoroughly scanned the newspapers and made sure no unwanted news reached his eyes. 
With such drastic measures, Arvind was able to shield Vikram from the truth. But with Vikram's increasing age and curiosity, and the rapidly growing influence of media, this was proving to be a mighty difficult task for him. Destiny was catching up with Vikram and soon his life was about to take a drastic turn.
A few days later, after the college was over Amit, Vikram's closest friend, his childhood buddy, and the person with whom he shared everything, asked Vikram to come to his house for a couple of hours. Apart from Vikram's grandpa only Amit knew about his nightmares.
Vikram often visited Amit's house after college and this was nothing new. But today Amit looked a little shaken. He didn't tell Vikram anything until they reached his house. Once inside the house, Amit gave Vikram a concerned look and said, "I want you to have a look at this."
 Amit turned on the television. He tuned to a news channel and the bold letters on the screen read;
Fire inside Upkar Cinema kills 59, more than a hundred injured.
A Correspondent was reading the news.
A fire broke out in the auditorium of Upkar cinema. Early investigations reveal that fire was caused due to a leakage in transformer oil. As per the testimonies of the survivors, smoke started gushing into the auditorium around five o clock. Due to no emergency lights, people were trapped in pitch darkness. Narrow gangways and very few exits resulted in stampede. Many people who weren't able to rush towards exits suffocated and collapsed.
As the correspondent read on the news Vikram saw the images of the wreckage on screen and remembered every minute details of his nightmare. Now he was convinced that his nightmares weren't just dreams. They were something more.
Amit put a comforting hand on his friend's shoulder. "A few days ago, you told me about your latest nightmare. Today, in the morning at breakfast table I saw this news. I knew you are not allowed to watch news at your house. I assumed you wouldn't know about this. That is why I brought you to my house. So that you can see this for yourself." 
Amit showed him the newspaper, "it is everywhere in the newspaper as well, but your grandpa wouldn't let you know. There is something he is hiding. There is something which he knows, but doesn't want you to know. It is time to face your grandpa and ask him the truth." 
Vikram grabbed the newspaper and rushed towards his house to confront his grandpa. It was now time to know the truth.
Arvind was in the living room, sipping his afternoon tea, when Vikram entered the house.
"Hi grandpa. Sipping your tea without reading the newspaper. Where is the newspaper?"
"The paperboy bunked today. He has become very lousy recently."
"No problem grandpa, I have grabbed a copy for you today." 
Vikram put down the copy of newspaper on the table. Its bold headlines read,

Arvind hung back his head and closed his eyes. There was no running away from the truth now.
"It is time grandpa for you to answer my questions"
"Okay. Tell me what you want to hear?" asked an agitated Arvind.
"I want to hear the truth about my nightmares. What do you know about them?"
 "Well, I know that your dreams are not just dreams, they are Visions, or as some people call it, premonitions. You can see what will happen in the near future."
"And still for all these years you insisted that they were just dreams! You hid the truth from me?"
"Yes, I hid the truth because I care for you. Because your knowing the truth will only make matters worse for you. Seeing these horrible scenes and thinking that they are just nightmares is far easier than knowing that what you are seeing is a reality about to happen."
"Surely, if I know what is about to happen in future, I can do something. I can help people. I can warn people of the impending disaster and save lives"
"You can do nothing. You cannot change the destiny. What you see will happen and nothing you do can stop it. It is a curse to be a spectator to these horrible events and it would be better for you if you prepare yourself to live with this curse."
"If I know that something bad is going to happen why can't I alert people. Why can't I warn them and avert tragedies?"
"Tell me how will you do that son? You just see the scenes, the accidents or the disasters, but you don't know when and where it will happen. You don't know the location. You don't know the time. You don't know the people. And even if you knew all that, will the people believe you? Will they believe in your so-called Visions and follow your orders? You can do nothing. The earlier you make peace with this fact, the better."
"It was clear in my dreams that there was going to be a massive fire in a movie theatre. If I would have alerted the authorities about it many lives could have been saved," retorted Vikram.
"There are hundreds of cinemas in Delhi. Did you know which cinema was going to catch fire. Were you even sure that the theatre you saw was in Delhi? Did you know the exact date of accident, as I believe you were having these visions for a week? Or did u know the cause of the fire? Do you think just because a teenage boy saw a burning auditorium in his dreams the authorities would have shut down hundreds of cinemas? Believe me son, there is nothing you could have done. It is unfortunate that you have to witness all these tragedies but that is your destiny and you have to live with it."
Vikram sat in silence trying to make sense of what his grandpa told him. Hundreds of ideas popped up in his mind to counter his grandpa's theory, but in the end, he had to accept the fact that what his grandpa told him made complete sense. He wasn't able to find a single logical way by which he could have averted this disaster.
Not able to find any loophole in his grandpa's logic, Vikram asked him the question which was nibbling away at his mind "Okay I understand I cannot do anything about these Visions, but you just answer my one question. Why me? Why do I have these Visions? Why do I have to live with all these scenes of misery and despair?"
Arvind put a comforting hand on his grandson's shoulder, "that is the same question a person dying from cancer or a mother with a stillborn child or a father at his young son's funeral, asks. Why me? Why I have to endure this misfortune? And the answer is, Destiny. A person has to face what is written in his destiny. This is your destiny and you can't help it."
Vikram had one last question for his grandpa "You seem to know a lot about these Visions. Tell me grandpa, how you know all this?"
Arvind sighed, and then almost choking with grief, said in a whisper "Because I knew someone else who had these Visions and I saw his life destroyed because of them." Arvind hugged Vikram tightly and broke down in tears, "please Vikram, forget about all this. These are just nightmares and they will go away with time. Please, I beg you."
Before Vikram could say anything else to his grandpa, he got up and rushed out of the room. If Vikram was a little confused before, this conversation had now left him utterly bewildered. It had left him with more questions than answers.
That night, again and again replaying the conversation with his grandpa in his mind, Vikram fell asleep. And then he had that dream. A dream which he had seen many times before, but this time he remembered the details. A mountainside resort with beautifully aligned cottages, people busy doing meditation, spectacular views of splendid valleys with huge mountains looming in background and a large sign board at the gate of a resort which read ARMATEUS.
When Vikram woke up the next morning, he had a feeling of déjà vu. Armateus, the word ringed a bell in his head. He had read it somewhere. He was thinking about it the whole day, when in the evening, while reading a travel magazine his eyes fell on a colorful ad.
Armateus. Ayurvedic healing resort. a place where dreams come true.
And then he remembered. He had read this ad many times before and every time his mind had lingered on to it more than usual. As if something within him wanted him to take note of this place. He carefully noted down the address. The resort was in Kasauli, a hill station lying in the laps of the magnificent Himalayas.
Vikram decided that it was time for a small holiday trip. Time to find some answers.
He immediately went to his grandpa and asked for his permission to go on a road trip with his friends to the Himalayas. Seeing that how disturbed Vikram was for last few days, Arvind thought a trip into the lap of the mother nature would be ideal for his grandson. Next day Vikram packed his bags and was on his way to Kasauli. 
On his way to find Armateus.
Finally, answering the Call of Destiny.
When Vikram arrived at the address given in the ad, he found a huge sign board over the main gate of the resort, which read.
Armateus. the city of Dreams.

A Tale of a lineage of superheroes, across different eras, bound by a curse and blessed with immense powers.

And while doing so, they try to strike a balance between using these extra-ordinary superpowers to save others and refraining from using these powers to protect themselves and their loved ones from the miseries.
This splendid tale about the call of duty, unimaginable powers, ultimate sacrifices and the twists of destiny is sure to leave its readers spellbound.
Embark on this ultimate journey, with these Bearers, the superheroes, the Saviors, as they tread the trecherous path of their destinies towards the End of Infinite.

Queenie couldn't believe what she heard, but it echoed over and over in her mind. 

She could not accept that a one-night mistake had led to pregnancy. The possibility that she might get pregnant after that incident did not even enter her mind. 

It was as if heaven and earth covered Queenie. His dreams crumbled like bubbles. 

How is her study now that she is pregnant? 

How about her work? And how to tell Ralph that he is now a father?

 Queenie burst into tears, even though she had asked these things a few thousand times and still there was no answer or if there was something it was definitely not good to know. 

Why did this have to happen to her? She suddenly remembered her biological mother, perhaps this is how she felt when she suddenly became pregnant with her.

 Perhaps her mind was also confused and did not know what to do. But yet she will not be like her mother who abandoned her just to continue to reach her dream.

 She will raise her child and give her a good future to the best of her ability. "i love you so much, baby.

 I will not leave you. Thank you for coming into my life, Queenie said passionately as she caressed her still flat belly. 

Even Mia, her friend couldn't believe Queenie's condition, even she was shocked and didn't expect it.

"When did this happen Queenie?

 "Do you remember when we went to Q province and Ralph and I were left behind when you went to sleep?" 

"I see, is that why you're annoyed with Ralph because he didn't recognize you when you met again?"

 Queenie nodded softly and bowed in embarrassment. She knew Mia wouldn't judge her but she was still ashamed, not only of Mia but also of herself. 

Yet Mia wholeheartedly accepted this matter, she knew Queenie she knew it was a good person. She may have made a one-night mistake but that doesn't mean this woman is inferior. 

She witnessed how Queenie struggled to survive herself and reach her dreams so even she was also hurt by Queenie's situation because she also knew that Queenie might not be able to continue her education because of her pregnancy and its dreams? 

"What are your plans now? 

Mia asked again. "Of course, I will continue my pregnancy" 

"When are you going to tell Ralph?" 

"I have no intention of telling her" Queenie sighed deeply.

 "Why not? 

She has an obligation to you and has the responsibility to your child" Mia suddenly stood up in her chair, she was against what Queenie wanted to happen.

"I don't want him to get involved in my problem,' Queenie replied shyly. "Why don't you want to involve him?

 You need to let him know. You two enjoyed it so you two should also sacrifice' Mia replied angrily, she wanted Queenie to wake up. 

"T'm afraid of how she'll react and she can accept it," Queenie Cried again. 

Mia just shook her head and hugged Queenie. Right now, all Queenie needs is sympathy and she is ready to accompany and support it.

 "That's enough, don't cry, it might have a bad effect on your baby" Mia wiped the tears from Queenie's eyes and smiled to ease the feeling.

 "Thank you, you are here next to me. Thank you for your understanding" Queenie said passionately and hugged Mia. This is the scene Ralph came across. 

He immediately approached Queenie.

 "What happened? 

Does anything hurt you? 

Why are you crying?' Ralph asked worriedly and held Queenie's hands. Queenie looked at Mia before she answered. 

"Don't worry, I'm fine."

 "What did the doctor say? 

Why do you seem to be sick?"

"Tm just so tired, I just need to rest, Queenie averted her eyes, afraid that Ralph would notice that he was hiding something. 

"Wait, Ill call my doctor friend so we can ask for a second opinion."

 "Don't!" said Queenie and Mia at the same time. Ralph was surprised by the reaction of the two. 

"Why? 

What's the problem?" 

"Nothing... no problem so don't call your doctor friend" Queenie reasoned. 

Ralph stared at Queenie intently, Queenie tried to avoid Ralph's eyes. Because of this, Ralph became even more suspicious that Queenie was not telling him something. 

"All right, I'l just talk to the doctor who looked at you earlier" Ralph turned around and approached the nurse counter, he didn't wait for Queenie to answer because he knew it would only stop him again.

 Queenie took a deep breath, it's a good thing she already asked the doctor who looks at her earlier to not let others know about her condition.

 Just a few minutes later Ralph came back and smiled at him before speaking. 

"You can be discharged, said the nurse, your doctor told earlier." "All right, I want to go home too," Asley agreed.

Okay, I' fix your discharge paper first he turned around and walked towards the cashier to pay Queenie's hospital bill. 

Queenie wanted to stop Ralph and let Mia pay the bill but he quickly went away, obviously, he had no intention of letting her stop him. When she got home, Queenie immediately went to bed. 

Again, the tears flowed into her eyes. She still couldn't help but worry about what might happen to her and her child. She needs to think carefully about what her next steps are. She didn't want anything bad to happen to her baby. 

She promised to do everything she can to give birth to her child properly. She wouldn't let it get away from her.

It didn't matter if she couldn't graduate college, the important thing was that she and her child were together through thick and thin.

"Queenie, that's enough for you to cry. You need to rest and strengthen so as not to affect the health of the baby in your womb." 

"Thank you, Mia. If you weren't here I might not know what to do." "Be strong. If you need anything just say it so I can help you." Queenie nodded and forced herself to stop crying.

People around told everyone that just like her Dad and Grandmother, Marie has some psychic powers. But for what exactly it is, they don't know. For it is like a No Entry for them to be so nosy nor be involved with her psychic powers. For if they involved themselves with her, they thought, they would experience something tragic or hardships as well that they couldn't bear to take.

For Marie don't tell everybody. She only tell it all to her bestfriend, Mario. And Mario just keeps listening to her and never spread it to anybody else.

He believes that Marie is a female version of 'Joseph the Dreamer' in the bible. And his role to Marie is like a great supporter, a listener, and of course, a bestfriend to Marie.

He witnessed it happened some of the dreams that Marie had, that came true in her real life. For instance, some years ago she had a dream of going to a place where it's mountainous where she don't know where would that place be 'coz she had never been there. But years after that dream, they had a field trip at Jagna, Bohol, Philippines, and woola, that mountainous part that she saw in her dream was actually located in Jagna, Bohol where they recently had their field trip on!

Though, there were some of her dreams that seems so impossible, but eventually, it happened. And so he believed then of Marie's capability of seeing the future ahead through her dreams.

"Marie, I totally believe that you are the female version of Joseph the Dreamer, 'coz all pf your dreams do came true in real life. You don't miss a thing. So I decided that in everything you do, where you go, I'll go!" proudly supported Mario.

"Hmmm in my recent dream, you gave up on me and left me alone to succeed the race on my own." hissed Marie.

"I would never do that to you. I'll always be there for you no matter what, no matter how hard the situation would be, I would never leave you." retorted Mario.

"Hmmm, we shall see. You forget, all of my dreams and premonitions do come true one way or another."

At this, Mario gulped. For indeed she didn't miss any of her dream not to happen. For it surely will happen.

"So far, I wanted to be with you always. Take me as your sidekick or whatever, as long as I'm with you. I will not even think of leaving you alone." still proudly said Mario.

"Okay sidekick Mario, you will be with me in my ups and downs in life then. I hope so." she hugged Mario sideways as her gratefulness of having him in her life.

"What was that hug for?" Mario's brows curved.

"Thanking you, for being there for me as always." Marie curved her lips into a smile.

"Okay you're welcome. What are friends for?" Mario curved into a smile.

"So, what's our next mission to conquer then?" Mario queried.

"What mission?" Marie verified.

"Well, you had your premonitions in your dreams, so what's our next mission? How are we gonna conquer all the hardships in life as it was shown in the maze in your dream?" Mario continued.

"There's nothing we can do other than praying that we would be strong enough to conquer all those hardships." Marie replied.

"Let's pray together then." At this Mario held one hand of Marie and they prayed together.

Little did they know, that those hardships in life that Marie together with Mario as he tagged himself along, would face, as it was shown in her dream, would happen so soon in her real life in her real world. And they needed indeed to be strong to face it all.

The next month after, she had another dream, and it's different from the previous one.

Marie was sitting on a skateboard running on it's own without using her hands nor feet. It was running, being pushed by some calm wind from the one cloud just few meters over her head, while she's riding at the running skateboard herself in a sitting position with her thighs folded in front of her.

The skateboard with her on it, was running on a highway cemented road with no other vehicles she come across with.

"Where am I?" she exclaimed.

Suddenly, a male powerful voice coming from the cloud over her, spoke...

"You're roaming on the roads of Bohol."

"Why am I roaming here? I was not born in this Island, although my dad was born here, but I was born in Cebu, where my mom was born too." Marie queried.

"Just sit back and relax. For this moment, you need to spendtime with your parents, specifically your dad." the male powerful voice answered.

She did not retaliate no more. She just obeyed the voice over and relaxed a little bit. She was taken a back when the skateboard she was riding on, suddenly stopped at a place where the ricefield has been harvested, and then after few minutes, it's like magic that within a snap of a finger, the ricefield harvested, changed into newly grown up plants not of rice but of some kind of vegetables.

Marie stepped out of the skateboard and as soon as she stepped on the ground, from her recent age of 25, she turned back into an age of 5 and become a kid again. She continued her walk as she knew she became younger but still have a mind of a 25 y.o. woman, with her brows curved in confusion. All of a sudden her parents, whom of a little bit younger version, appeared in front of her. And they both hugged her and filled her with love and kisses...

She grew up having premonitions through her dreams. She sees in her dreams some situations, places, scenarios, happenings and series of events of people's lives including her own life that will happen in the future. Future like 5-10 years after she had dreamt and became true in reality. Dreams like she never really desired nor wished to happen but it actually happened for real.

People close to her family says she has a unique psychic powers. They say it's her bloodline. Since her Grandma, one of her Aunt, her Father, one of her brothers and her, them were the so called 'chosen few' have different but also somewhat similar Psychic Powers. 

The scenarios were mostly happened in the Philippines as some of our characters are Filipinos.
