There once was a patient named Blitz, who was a very special case in the Blightworth Mental Hospital. So special, that he was subjected to his own treatment, which have left more harm than good thanks to his doctor, Rupert Jacobi. 

But when a breakout happens and his brother is kidnapped, Blitz goes on a harrowing journey to rescue his brother, and get back at Jacobi for all the suffering he caused. 

Get ready for a shocking and exciting tale about a patient who is thrusted into a world outside Blightworth. 

"Ha! What do we have here?" Someone said with a cocky tone as they burst from the bushes. "Seems we have the weakling that can't seem to even play for 6 hours. How pathetic, you shouldn't be playing old man, this era is for the younglings like me to dominate."
It was the swordsmen from Blitz's party, his tone was as cocky as usual. However, he wasn't surprised that the swordsman was able to guess that he was an old man. After all, when taking in the consideration of playtime there are only two groups of people that'll have a similar playtime to him. Oldies and children, and guessing from the way Jose fought, it was pretty obvious he wasn't some child.
"However, it seems you've paired up with people in your level huh. Probably the whole bunch of you are just a bunch of oldies wasting away at their lives," The swordsmen said with an arrogant tone along with a twisted smile. "Just go rot in your retirement homes, leave this world for people that are actually going to be living in it for another 10 years."
Everyone in the group felt the impulse to rush up and pummel the swordsmen to the ground, maybe even find where he lives and present him with some real military discipline. However, they were swiftly stopped by Jose who held out his arm.
"Provoking a bunch of oldies to turn into player killers, really, how pathetic is your life? Also, you should learn to respect your elders, after all, I'm probably old enough to have slept with your mother," Jose responded to the swordsmen arrogance with an arrogant voice of his own. It was a voice he practised for dealing with government officials, entirely for the purpose of ticking them off rather than getting to be friendly with them.
"What did you say!" The swordsmen asked as his face twitched nonstop. The rest of the ground faintly chuckled at Jose's response. But just like Jose predicted, the arrogant and hotblooded swordsmen dashed forwards and raised his head to cut at Jose's neck. 
But with his swift response along with many years of experience, Jose narrowly ducked beneath the sword swing, allowing it to merely graze along his hair.
[Player Harem Lord has initiated an attack, allowing player and comrades to respond with force]
With Jose's newfound knowledge after researching, he knew full well that you didn't want to be the one to initiate an attack. After all, once you initiate the attack, the opposition can respond with full force with suffering any penalties.
Adam suddenly appeared behind the swordsmen and sliced through his through before cutting through his arms and legs a couple of times. Adam's attacks were so fast for a new player; unless one's agility was at a similar level or they had a special observation skill they wouldn't have been able to see Adam's attacks.
Harem Lord disappeared with a flash, dropping a couple of items. Which is the reason why most players would try to provoke each other into attacking first; since the one which attacks first has a chance of dropping their equipment should they be killed.
"Ha, he seems to be all talk but no bite," Luke remarked as he looked down disdainfully where the swordsmen died. Although the group couldn't see nor hear the swordsmen, he was currently in an astral form where he died, he had to wait one minute before he can respawn. However, in the meantime, he was hearing the group constantly berate and insult him after his death.
"Indeed, seems to lack the strength to support that backbone," Harrison responded similarly to Luke. Staring at the ground where the swordsmen died with disdain. "If he was here right now, I would probably go all out with insults, going after all of his family members."
"Dumbass brutes," Hayley muttered beneath her breath. Although it wasn't loud, the two tanks could certainly hear her. Even though they didn't need to hear the words, they just needed to see Hayley's facial expression and they could understand what she was thinking about them.
"No, it's not dumbass brutes, it's Bald Bros or Muscle Men, get it right," Luke responded as him and Harrison flexed their now youthful muscles. They made sure to make their character as muscular as possible, otherwise how else will people now that they're strong.
"My point is proven," Hayley responded before turning to look at the bushes. The whole group followed her line of sight as a few more players burst from the bushes, with Blitz leading the pack it was the rest of his party. Aside from the arrogant swordsmen that is.
"Oh hey, it's the weird magician again. How've you been doing? I can see you already have a party, suppose it'll be rude to ask you to join us now huh?" Blitz said as he walked up to Jose and pat his muscular hand on Jose's shoulder.
Luke and Harrison stared at Blitz with fire in their eyes, they dashed over before taking a closer look at Blitz's muscles. They began lifting up Blitz's arms, feeling the hardness and size of the muscles while Blitz stood there chuckling awkwardly. 
"Mad Bull 1! Mad Bull 2! Stop that!" Jose shouted using Luke and Harrison's in-game name instead. That was how it usually worked, it was seen as weird when someone uses their real-life names. Especially when near strangers.
The two looked at each other before nodding and walking away silently. Blitz awkwardly chuckled before turning his attention back to Jose. "Well, it seems you certainly have some unique characters in your party. But anyway, have you seen the swordsmen of my team? We remember seeing him dash this way for some weird reason, have you ran into him?"
"No sorry, we haven't seen him, but we'll make sure to tell him that you're looking for him if we do," Jose explained with a composed face and tone. It was almost as though lying can naturally to him, it was useful though, with his abilities he can even trick lie detectors and fool anyone that captures him into believing the wrong information.
"Oh great, thanks. Also, just a friendly reminder from one strong player to another, I wouldn't suggest going that way," Blitz explained as he pointed towards the direction they were coming from. "There's currently a large group of players preparing to take on the dungeon. There are roughly 70 – 100 players all a part of the same team, they warned us and proclaimed the dungeon theirs."
"Ha, they sound pretty arrogant," Hayley remarked from the back of the group.
Blitz chuckled as he nodded. "Indeed, but they have the strength to possess that arrogance as they're one of the top 100 guilds, currently ranked at 78th on the first server they're known for their arrogance. They've got quite the arrogant name as well, Noob Killers. I would suggest avoiding them at all costs."
Blitz said his piece before leaving with the rest of his party in his wake. The swordsmen, Harem Lord was currently screaming and shouting in his astral form throughout the entire conversation. However, it came to no avail as his party leader left the group untouched. Grumbling angrily he sat back down and waited for his respawn time to finish.
In the distance, Blitz was currently talking with his party members when the other swordsmen brought up the matter they were all curious about. "Leader, although I trust your judgement, I'm curious as to why you didn't start a fight with those oldies? We know it was them that killed Harem Lord, after all, his stuff is still on the ground."
"For a very simple reason. Although they're old, they're extremely experienced in combat which is the reason why Harem Lord wasn't able to send a message before his death. And, because none of them have been marked as player killers it's likely Harem Lord's fault, probably got too cocky for his own good. This would serve as a valuable lesson to him," Blitz explained calmly as they made their way through the forest, killing a spider here and there.
"I can understand that, but even then, don't you always go for revenge when someone kills your party member? Isn't that how it's always been?" The swordsmen asked as he got more and more flustered by Blitz's calmness.
"MySwordIsLong, why do you think our leader informed the group of Noob Killer's presence near the dungeon?" One of the magicians asked coldly as he looked dead into the swordsmen's eyes.
"I don't know, you're all apart of that smart stuff, I'll just stick to swinging my sword around," MySwordIsLong replied as he brushed off the question. He wasn't all that smart, however, he was fairly good in terms of combat, far surpassing Harem Lord's combat abilities.
"You do you, but anyway. The reason behind our leader's move is to lure those players into a trap. After all, they do seem likely arrogant and also seem to dislike other arrogant people. By talking about what happened with us and Noob Killers, they'll like charge right into there and attempt to ruin that guild's raid," The magician explained as he held a hand up. "Now, do you understand the brilliance behind our leader's actions?"
"Whoa, I never knew you thought so far ahead," MySwordIslong replied with a sparkle in his eye, he marvelled at the brilliance of his leader.
"Yes, yes, you have to act like you have no idea what you're doing to confuse those that have an idea of what they're doing," Blitz responded as he held up a finger. In reality, he had absolutely no idea what the magician was talking about. He was just giving a friendly reminder to someone he's fought alongside to stay away from the guild Noob Killers. Not tempt them into going and attacking them.
Back with Jose and his party, Skilful Noobs. They were all looking towards each other with wide grins, they were waiting for the other group to get far enough before they start planning. Luke was the first one to step up. "We should 100% go in and ruin their dungeon attack. That'll certainly make them remember our name, not to mention it'll certainly set them back a bit."
"Indeed, calling themselves Noob Killers is basically asking for us to go in and attack them," Hayley said coldly. They had just named their party Skilful Noobs, now hearing that there's a guild whose name just so happens to insult theirs, how would they just sit down and let them go freely.
"Still hotblooded as always," Jose muttered loudly enough for everyone to hear, swiftly gaining their attention. "It's obviously a ploy from Blitz, trying to lure us into fighting against a top guild is quite a smart method. Unfortunately, we're not dumb enough to fall for it. So, what we're going to do instead is go and ruin their dungeon raid!"
"Leader, isn't that what you told us not to do?" Harrison asked with great concern. He wasn't prepared to fight against other humans; monsters and beasts he was completely fine with but humans he was not, they're apart of the same kind.
"What are you talking about Harrison? I said that we aren't dumb enough to fall for their ploy in attacking the guild Noob Killers head-on. It's much easier to just sabotage them," Jose explained as he raised a finger to his eye. "Then, once we're done ruining their dungeon raid, we'll go ahead and steal the boss kill from them."
"Haha! I knew you still had it in you boss!" Luke shouted loudly as he raised his arms in the air along with the shield.

Planet Earth, the year 2040, wars and national disputes are now solved through intense competitive games. To the point where countries are creating and funding teams specifically for the purpose of winning matches.
However, with this new way of battles, soldiers and special forces were no longer needed. The amount of money going into the military's defences has been reduced by 95%.

Due to these changes, once his contract was up and his age reaching that of retirement; Jose was kicked from his special force. However, time is rather cruel to those who fight on the always active battlefield.
His wife died 4 years ago, while his children have all grown up and have children of their own.
Jose waits in his house, sitting on the couch, watching the news or sport as the neverending time continues to flow. His boredom continues to grow larger and larger as his body gets weaker and weaker.

That is, until he hears about the game "Second World", one which his arrogant and disrespectful son in law plays.

That day, Jose decided to dominate the game on the new server. Rise to prominence with old comrades and crush his son in law beneath his feet.

Chen Mo did not expect he had to avoid being hit by Inoch even once.
However, he believed his speculation of Inoch's max HP was still on point.
If Chen Mo knew he had to defeat Inoch without being hit once, he would have given up on the quest.
The quest was way too difficult; it would be impossible if Chen Mo did not have the skill to summon slimes to his aid after collecting the full set of Slime King's accessories.
Chen Mo had come up with a plan to deal with Inoch with the help of Mutated Slimes.
He ran to the Mutated Green Slime and hid behind it. He consumed a bottle of Low-level Mutated Strength Potion.
Apart from increasing Player's Strength by 20 upon consumption, the Player would also deal 20 extra damage to enemy. 
The potion was extremely rare. Chen Mo had only gotten three of them after killing the Mutated Black Goblin six times. If possible, Chen Mo would prefer to keep it, but he had no choice but to use it under the circumstances.
As soon as Chen Mo consumed the potion, he aimed his crossbow at Inoch that was chasing after him and fired at will. 
Inoch did not expect her Blitz to fail. She was even more enraged. She had no intention to give up until she got her hands on Chen Mo.
However, Chen Mo obviously would not give her any chance to do so. There was no obstacle in the spacious room, but Chen Mo was using the Mutated Slime as an obstacle instead.

Inoch's current speed was nowhere close to Chen Mo's. He could easily kite her around the Mutated Slime.
Besides, Inoch was unable to use Blitz when the Mutated Slime was in between her and Chen Mo.
Her Bisecting Slash could only hit Mutated Slime too. Chen Mo was basically treating the Mutated Slime as an obstacle. He had given it the command to hold its position. It would only bounce and attack Inoch whenever she came close.
The bolts landed on Inoch; the skill Minor Poison Bolt, the effects of Slime's Poison, and the physical damage and extra poison damage of the Minor Poison Crossbow allowed Chen Mo to deal close to four hundred damage to Inoch with every arrow. Inoch's HP was falling at an insane rate. She had lost over ten thousand HP in no time. Her remaining HP was less than twenty thousand.

Chen Mo was aware of what Inoch was doing since he had been keeping an eye on her at all times. Even though the skill had taken him by surprise, he was still able to dodge it in time.
However, Inoch gathered her strength like a stretched bow as soon as she executed the Shadow Strike. Chen Mo had a strong feeling that Inoch would immediately dash to him if he was to dodge to the side or crouch to dodge the dagger. It would allow Inoch to catch up to him!
He could not afford to dodge the dagger!
Chen Mo immediately came to a realization!
What was he supposed to do then?

After avoiding the Blitz Storm, the boss battle returned to normal state again.
"Everyone, scatter as quickly as possible!" Seven Stars Warrior shouted. This was because there would be a lot of pressure on the Clerics if the players continued to stand together.

Blitz dreamt of becoming a superhero like Batman, running around and saving people. unfortunately, he was not one of the gifted.

One day, in the process of saving an elderly from a shootout between rival gangs, Blitz loses his life; or did he?

Blitz was walking through a street, drinking a can of 50 cent soda, the best type of soda, while going home, until he saw a woman carrying a blood covered man, being chased by a truly strange horde of people.

Normally, you'd expect this to happen with only a few colors in the horde of people, but this time it was quite a few different colors.

This meant two things, a hoard of random people were chasing them, or multiple gangs had teamed up.

Normally, Blitz wouldn't have intervened if it was just a mob of randoms, but then he realized that all of them were wearing suits. 

Then he brushed it aside. No way just about each gang would bother chasing two people. So if it was normal people chasing them, they must've deserved it.

But Blitz was curious, so he decided to help in the chase.

He was running along the running mob and saw some random dude wearing a yellow suit, "Oi! Hey, do ya know what's happening?"

The dude wearing a yellow suit saw a tall person with spiky yellow hair, wearing a pink yellow t-shirt, and dark green baggy pants. He decided the dude looked like one of the crowd and said, "Dunno, my boss just told me to chase the dude."

"Who's your boss?"

"That dude over there." The man said pointing at his boss, who was also wearing a yellow suit.

So then Blitz ran up to the boss, "Yo, I've been out of the loop for a bit, haven't caught up on the news, what's happening?"

"You seriously don't know? Some dude beat just the everliving shit out of everyone in every gang. The white t gang, the black suits, the blue guys, red guys, just everyone. So now everybody now made an alliance, now that he's hurt. Probably gonna bite us in the ass. So here we are."

"Well, that's a shame."

"It really is."

"Yeah, especially since it will for sure bite you guys in the ass."

Blitz vanished into a certain distance in front of the crowd. Then he released some energy. 

The crowd stopped, but not for long, soon charging max speed at Blitz. He was a bit caught off guard by how fast the crowd had become. Everyone of them were incredibly fast.

And in seconds they surrounded him. He thought for a second, then realized, "Oh shit, why did I let them surround me.... ah whatever. I'll be fiiiine."

He then dashed at the guy in front of him. The two people to the both sides of him, intercepted Blitz. Both throwing a punch at him. Blitz turned around and used his right arm to restrict both.

He then kicked one of them using his left leg, to then turn around with both arms, which pulled around both people, then he let go, throwing them.

Without pause he tried punching the dude in front of him, but the man was one step ahead, and his fist went straight on Blitz's face.

So Blitz, while being knocked back, grabbed the man's arm with both hands, pulling him, to then use both legs and kicking him in the stomach. Then using the momentum to do a backflip. Which right after, the man was sent flying back.

Blitz thought about this while breathing heavily, "Did I just do a backflip?"

He didn't have much time to linger, as when he looked behind him, about ten people were now in within 6 feet of him. He was impressively surrounded. He swore, and then summoned a staff. 

It had basically zero features. It was a thin long black cylinder.

He spoke, "This is sure is hell of a pickle isn't it?"

Nobody responded, so Blitz felt a bit let down. He then pointed it at them. 

Then, a few of them started materializing weapons. With some transforming, some wielding elements, just a lot of stuff.

Blitz swore, "How the fuck did that dude cause so much, this is required to chase him.

One of them spoke, "Enough."

Then someone with a sword dashed at him, Blitz immediately responded with a hit to the leg, then a kick to the chest, which the man grabbed. He proceeded to nearly cut his leg off, but Blitz has blocked this using his staff, thinking fast, he pushed the end of the staff into his chest.

Which knocked him back. Using this opportunity, he hit him in the head, to then do it again. Before finally poking his head with his staff, using max strength. 

Sadly, this wasn't a story where people fought one by one, waiting for their asses to get kicked, because 6 came in and grabbed him.

Among the world going to shit, a certain man was fated to die to a single action. 

Then he had been saved by an unknown person who seemed to know what was going on.

He had no clue that he’d been saved, but nonetheless he 
asked who his mysterious saver was.


“Me? I’m a regressor.”

Hearing Fluttering Red Feathers's words, Ye Ci's eyebrows raised up slightly. Black Plum Guild could be considered to be one of the leading guilds in the Southern Continent, Ye Ci could not fathom why the leader of a guild would come and seek her help.

To be honest, she was a little curious.

However, Ye Ci knew that there were times when one should not be overly curious. If not, one might risk not even knowing why they died.

Pondering for a moment, Ye Ci felt that it would not be good if she were to reject him outright. Thinking that she should at least find out what the other party wished of her, Ye Ci replied, "Why don't you go ahead and tell me how can I help?"

"I'll be waiting at the Broken Horn Tavern in North Desert City." Fluttering Red Feathers thought for a while before giving a location and emphasized, "I'll be awaiting your arrival, I hope...You have to come."

With that, he immediately hung up without giving Ye Ci a chance to speak, as though afraid that she might give an unfavorable response.

After a moment of deliberation, Ye Ci finally decided to travel to North Desert City. First of all, she had nothing to do at the moment. Secondly, Fluttering Red Feathers had piqued her damned curiosity. Finally, she felt that she would be able to easily escape even if she was facing a dangerous situation alone.

Taking those points into account...Ye Ci's trip towards North Desert City was quickly decided.

North Desert City was located at the northernmost area of the Sioux Desert, a territory on the Southern Continent that was closest to the Eastern Continent. It would be slightly troublesome if one were to travel there from the Eastern Continent without the use of a teleporter. However, it was fortunate that Ye Ci had already activated the transfer point at the Southern Continent's main city. All she had to do was proceed towards North Desert City directly from the main city itself, which would save her a lot of time.

The Sioux Desert, like Blue Light Coast, was a map that was suitable for Lvl 30 to 40 players. This was why the players who were leveling up there were mostly grouped with their guilds or in their own parties. Not wishing to attract attention, Ye Ci summoned her little red horse and went straight for North Desert City . Along the way, there were people at each new location and the area seemed to be very lively.

Although Ye Ci was exceptionally familiar with the game known as Fate, there were things that even she didn't know, such as the location of the Broken Horn Tavern. Ye Ci was unable to find its precise location. She was only able to see a marker on the map that indicated where the Broken Horn Tavern was after asking directions from a city soldier.

Following the signs, Ye Ci soon found herself in front of an unimpressive two-story building.

A mailbox was at the front, while the entrance had an old sign with a faded illustration of a goblet hanging from it that would definitely be overlooked if one did not look closely.

Stepping into the inn, the interior was bustling with people and had a rowdy atmosphere.

The players from the 4 continents did not differ much from one another. Even their playable races were the same, which was why an Elven Huntress like Ye Ci did not attract much attention when she entered the inn. Glancing around, Ye Ci was unable to spot Fluttering Red Feathers and sent him a message.

Moments later, Fluttering Red Feathers bolted out from a corner and stood in front of Ye Ci. His large build was outfitted with an exquisite set of armor and he carried a massive two-handed axe on his back, evidence that he was a formidable player. Heartily patting Ye Ci's shoulder, he said, "Gongzi, I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly, let me treat you to North Desert City's specialties."

He cordially dragged Ye Ci into a corner where a wooden table with no other people was at. As the two took their seats, Fluttering Red Feathers ordered North Desert City's specialty dish, Charcoal-Grilled Buzzard, for Ye Ci.

He did not make idle chatter, so Ye Ci did not proactively speak first. It was already inappropriate for her to take the initiative and come here. If she were to speak first, wouldn't it make Fluttering Red Feathers feel that she was being too curious about the issue?

However, before fighting the final BOSS, the two needed to engage in a bloody war with each other. 5 minutes after the battle, a flag would appear before the BOSS. Only the party in the possession of the flag would have the right to challenge the final BOSS. Despite that, there was another catch: After taking the flag, if the opponent was unable to eradicate the other party or if someone in either party were to leave the dungeon, then both parties would be considered to have failed the dungeon even if the opponent did seize the flag.

The Black Plum Guild encountered a problem.

The guild who entered Blitz Cavern with them was a guild called Awing The Heavens. The prowess of the two guilds were roughly equal, with neither having a clear advantage even if they were to fight seriously.

However, in this dungeon, it was precisely because their strength was equal that it became a problem.

At first, the opportunities to capture the flag was roughly equal for both guilds, with neither having an advantage over the other, while at the next five minute interval, the fighting prowess of the guilds was still equal. Essentially, it was impossible to come out on top within five minutes.

Ye Ci did not immediately reply after hearing Fluttering Red Feathers, instead she laughed, "I don't seem to be that exceptional, with so many professional players around, why did you look for me?"

"He's a Hunter as well."
