Extreme Yin Nether Glow was like the shadow of the Extreme Yang Illumination. It was born out of the Chaos together with Extreme Yang Illumination. It was a Fey God formed from the power of Yin entities and the essence of extreme Yin. All of this was a portrayal of how Chaos led to Yin and Yang.
The Extreme Yin Nether Glow similarly was not in the shape of a beast. The image engraved on the column was a white halo with a mist on its outer ring that looked like a burning flame.
In the middle of the Extreme Yin Nether Glow, there was a black circle, as though it was where the Extreme Yang Illumination should sit. When the two Fey Gods were superimposed on each other, it appeared like a solar eclipse. It would be black in the middle, with a misty halo in its exterior. The saying of how Extreme Yin Nether Glow was the shadow of the Extreme Yang Illumination was a result of this.
"Extreme Yang Illumination, Extreme Yin Nether Glow... When the Universe was in its formative stages, the primordial universe (Wuji) generated supreme ultimate (Taiji), and therefore generated the two opposing forces."
"The primordial universe is Chaos, and the two opposing forces are Yin and Yang. During the formation of the Heaven and Earth, the Fey Gods that were born alongside Yin and Yang can even be considered the embodiment of Heavenly Dao. They are the Extreme Yang Illumination and the Extreme Yin Nether Glow."
Yi Yun seemed to gain something from it as he continued looking on.
The third column had a large tree engraved on it. In the carving, the tree was shockingly large. Even the stars in the sky were like the size of fists, floating amongst the tree's leaves.
The tree branches were lush and flourishing. Every leaf was so large that they appeared like land that floated in space. On the leaf, a drop of dew could have formed an ocean.
With time being pushed forward, after the large worlds were born, this Dao Tree's leaves could still have plains, forests and a myriad of living beings exist on them.
The third Fey God — Empress Earth Dao Tree!
It was a divine tree formed from three thousand Great Dao after the formation of the Universe!
When Yi Yun saw the third Fey God, the first thing that came to mind was the Dao Tree that he had encountered in the Pure Yang Sword Palace.
The Dao Tree that similarly existed for a long period of time was considered much smaller when compared to the engraved Dao Tree that was much bigger than stars.
That tree was encountered by the Pure Yang Sword Palace owner, and by then, the tree had already existed for a long period of time.
"What relationship does the Dao Tree I encountered in the Pure Yang Sword Palace have with the Empress Earth Dao Tree?"
This question arose in Yi Yun's mind. Having come to the Ancient Fey Edifice, the twelve Fey Gods struck Yi Yun with surprise. The first three Fey Gods already made Yi Yun generate many feelings of longing in such an immense world like the 12 Empyrean Heavens. While being enlightened, he was simultaneously filled with questions.
The fourth Fey God — Dragon Emperor!
Near the beginning of the Heaven and Earth, the god bred out of Chaos was the king of all dragons.
There were all sorts of divine dragons in the world, such as the noble five-clawed golden dragon[1], Red Dragon, Azure Dragon[2], Yellow Dragon[3] as well as the Torch Dragon[4] that fell into darkness and the bloodthirsty Blood Dragon.
All these dragons came from the Dragon Emperor, they were its descendants.
The fifth Fey God — Seven-colored Phoenix!
If there was a dragon, then there was naturally a phoenix. During the inception of the Heaven and Earth, the phoenix was born. It was the ancestor of all birds. Its feathers had seven colors, and these seven feathers represented different powers of nature. The Seven-colored Phoenix could not only control fire, but it could also control Wind, Rain, Thunder and Lightning, as well as the five elements.
The world's Fire Phoenix, Ice Phoenix, Azure Luan-bird, Vermilion Bird[5] and even the Golden Crow came from the bloodline of the Seven-colored Phoenix.
The sixth Fey God — Kun Peng!
If the Seven-colored Phoenix was considered the ancestor of all birds, then there was probably only one bird that did not descend from it. That was the Heavenly Peng[6]!
The Heavenly Peng was not exactly a bird, but it was a fish and bird in one. In the form of a Kun, it could easily devour thousands of seas, and in the form of a Peng, it spread its wings that spanned a distance of 45,000 kilometers. In its flying rage, it could tear apart galaxies!
The seventh Fey God — Heavenly Man!
Upon seeing this Fey God, Yi Yun was momentarily stunned. Heavenly Man?
Different from the other Fey Gods, this was a Fey God in the shape of a man. His name was also Ancestor Pan. With a giant ax in hand, he was a giant with five different colored hair. He could split the heaven and earth apart, creating a world in the process!
The eighth Fey God — River of Forgetfulness
This eighth Fey God was even more fascinating. Its shape was in an endless surging river. And what flowed in the river was not water, but time.
The river of time only surged ahead in one direction... the future.
By heading only for the future, it meant forgetting the past. Thus, the river's name was named River of Forgetfulness!
The ninth Fey God... was empty!

Yi Yun was momentarily stunned. He only understood after looking carefully. The ninth Fey God was not missing, but because its form was —'nothingness'. It had no shape or form, no edge or limits!
The ninth Fey God — Solitary Nothingness
With time, there would naturally be space. Space-time was like Yin-Yang. They were Dao formed at the formation of the Universe.
Solitary Nothingness was an endless void with complete silence, and it had nothing in it. Like the graveyard for the thousands of worlds, it was like the abode to everything.
Worlds were created, but they were also annihilated. Everything would ultimately be transformed to nothingness, returning to the solitary void.
Solitary Nothingness' name was a result of this.
Legends said that 'Solitary Nothingness' was an endless void itself. Being devoured into Solitary Nothingness' stomach would result in permanent annihilation... 
The tenth Fey God...
When Yi Yun came to this point, he was stunned. If the ninth Fey God was a blank because it was 'Solitary Nothingness' did not have any shape or form, then the tenth Fey God was truly missing.
He did not see the tenth, eleventh or twelfth Fey Gods.
In fact, the Fey race only knew that twelve Fey Gods existed, but the last three Fey Gods were extremely mysterious. Other than the Dragon Emperor, the Seven-colored Phoenix and the Kun Peng, Yi Yun could not tell how the other Fey Gods had a closer relationship with the Fey race.
"The twelve Fey Gods, or the twelve Dao Ancestors must be the beginnings of Heavenly Dao! They were born directly out of the Chaos. Many divine beasts that sounded amazing, such as the divine beasts of the Four Symbols — the Azure Dragon[7], the Vermilion Bird[8], the White Tiger[9] and the Black Turtle — while Bifang[10], Taotie[11] and Responding Dragon[12] evolved after the five elements were split apart, and with everything being born. Compared to the twelve Fey Gods, they are greatly inferior."
With this thought in mind, Yi Yun suddenly felt like he had broadened his horizons.
Although the twelve columns were engraved by progeny, nor did they contain any profound laws, just looking at them made Yi Yun feel like he had gained a lot.
His gain came in the form of mental benefit. The more he knew how vast and spectacular the world was, the more motivation Yi Yun gained. This motivation came from the unwillingness to be tiny and the ambition of being equal to Heavenly Dao.

A young adult named Yi Yun from modern Earth unwittingly stumbles into such a world and begins his journey with a purple card of unknown origin. This is a magnificent yet unknown true martial world! This is the story of a normal young adult and his adventures!!    

Joseph fetched some groceries on his way towards his house.
He made sure that he had at least a month's worth of groceries so that he didn't have to go out every day.
Taking out the business card from his pocket. He glanced at it for a moment before throwing it into the trash. Afterwards, he glanced around and after making sure that there was no one nearby. He took out his smartphone and opened the main website of Victory.
Finally, there was some news about the lifting of the maintenance. 
P.H Works worked faster that everyone had expected and the emergency maintenance was scheduled to be lifted later this night. This gave excitement to Joseph as he hurriedly went into his room and cooked some dinner for him to eat.
He ate while scrolling through the forums of Victory.
Within the forums, there was a particular trending post that had the title.
[Unbelievable Duel! Six Digits in Damage! A three-second duel!]
A bitter smile emerged on Joseph's face "Just what kind of a title is this?"
He opened the forum post and saw that the replay of what happened back at the Grand Internet Cafe was embedded within it and the number of comments about the post had already reached ten thousand plus.
[Weak Left Arm, Strong Right Arm says: What the fuck? The duel ended in three seconds? Wait, isn't that a Meteor's Descent? That's one of the Ultimate Skills for Elementalist and he dodged it and somehow teleported behind that beauty? Wait, could it be that he's an Assassin?]

Joseph continuously laughed as he scrolled through the comments of the forum post.
 There were a lot of sensible theories as to how the battle ended in a mere three seconds and how Joseph teleported behind Solar Equinox. 
But none of them were correct nor even close which made it particularly hilarious for Joseph.
Some theories said that Joseph had an unknown Epic Class, while some said that his class was definitely at the Legend Rank since it was quite mysterious. 
However, that theory was debunked by the keyboard warriors saying that if Joseph was really a Legendary Ranked Player... 
His name would've already popped up left and right in the Universal Rankings.
Their discussion prompted Joseph to learn more about the world of Victory. 
Since there was still two hours before the lifting of the maintenance. 
Joseph decided that he would not let himself procrastinate anymore.
 He opened up a fan-made wiki about the world of Victory and studied there.
From the wiki, it was said that the world of Victory was a huge continent on a planet that was at sixty-percent water and forty-percent land. The entire landmass of the Planet Gaia was named as the continent of Victory and the Empire of Truedawn reigned within the continent of Victory.
There were three Kingdoms in the continent, and at the far north of the continent was the Kingdom of Absolute Frost. 
At the western side of the continent was the Kingdom of Burning Heaven while at the south-eastern side of the continent was the Kingdom of Nether.
There were a lot of Kingdoms and Cities in the continent back then but after a brutal colonization expedition by the Empire of Truedawn, only three Kingdoms remained...
The territories of these three kingdoms were incomparably vast, yet they were peaceful with each other. It was as if they had no ambitions nor intentions of increasing their territories. At least, this was the impression that everyone was under.
Those who knew more about the three kingdoms understood that everything wasn't so peaceful...
This was the reason why players needed to properly choose their kingdom of affiliation since your kingdom affiliation couldn't be changed after you selected what Kingdom you'd support when creating your character.
It was recommended within the wiki that players should choose the Kingdom of Burning Heaven since its bustling economy was second only to the Empire of Truedawn. As for the second recommendation, it was surprisingly the Kingdom of Nether. 
The Kingdom of Nether had the worst economy compared to the two, but why was this Kingdom recommended more than the Kingdom of Absolute Frost or Everlasting Frost? Well, it was because due to the fact that the Kingdom of Absolute Frost was far north and extremely cold.
If not for the fact that it had more natural resources than the other Kingdoms which made it suitable for people who wanted to have a production class, then it wouldn't even be listed in this recommendation.
Joseph skimmed through all the information about the Kingdoms and he summarized them all in a single paragraph describing the three Kingdoms.
First, the Kingdom of Burning Heaven.
The Kingdom of Burning Heaven is a liberal kingdom. 
This Kingdom could be considered as the sex capital of the continent of Victory. If Joseph was to make a real-life analogy. This Kingdom was like the ancient city of Pompeii. All sorts of people in all walks of life often visited this kingdom but they had something in common for their visit.
It was sex...
The players, especially males directly chose this kingdom due to the abundance of sex.
But they were disappointed when they learned that the concept of consent still existed within the Kingdom. Rape had severe consequences and once caught by the system, you could be subject to a permanent ban to all virtual games that couldn't be appealed.
As for the Kingdom of Absolute Frost...
Despite the all year round coldness and snow. The people in this place were the warmest and the most hospitable people in the entire continent of Victory. Their residents were advocates for human rights, and they also practiced equality on a daily basis.
With virtually no slave trade, the people in this Kingdom could be considered as the happiest residents in the entire world of Victory.
The Kingdom of Absolute Frost believed in a lot of gods along with the Kingdom of Burning Heaven. Quite opposite to them, the Kingdom of Nether only had faith for the Goddess, the Divine Goddess Rhinna. 
Believing in such a pristine Goddess also made their views regarding love, quite innocent and pure...
A person within the Kingdom of Nether could only marry a single person for their entire life. There was no concept of polygamy in the Kingdom of Nether for every marriage was sacred and sanctified by their beloved Divine Goddess Rhinna.
As for the Kingdom of Absolute Frost, you could have as many wives as you want as long as you loved them equally and could equally support them. The Kingdom of Burning Heaven was the same as the Absolute Frost when it came to marriages, but laxer than the former.
Interesting... Interesting... So, if I wanted to have a harem for myself, I should go to the Kingdom of Absolute Frost or Burning Heaven? Wait! What the fuck am I reading? Didn't I come here to read about more information about the tiers of classes yet why am I getting distracted again? Ugh...
Joseph facepalmed when he found out that he derailed from his original train of thought.
Reclaiming his focus, Joseph struck the iron while it's still hot as he opened up the information that he required and skimmed through it.
According to the wiki... 
Victory classes were divided into, Hidden, Unique, Epic, Legend, and Myth. There were millions of people having a class with the Hidden Tier, while the number of people that has a Unique-Tiered Class was at the several hundreds of thousands.
As for the number of people with the Epic-Tiered Class, they were at the tens of thousands, while the Legends could only be counted by a single finger since there was only a single known Legendary Player in the world of Victory.
As for the Myths, there were rumors about a system notification informing everyone about the appearance of the myth but it was a piece of unconfirmed news and it may probably be even an NPC instead of a player. 
After all...
It was a known fact that NPCs were far powerful than players in the current state of the game.
It was not out of the ordinary for a Legendary NPC to ascend to the Myths. 
Interesting... If I reveal to the world that I'm a Mythical Ranked Player... Would I also have my name and portrait placed in this wiki? That will definitely happen. All I need is to gauge if it is worth it to reveal myself to the world or should I hide who I am?
Joseph remembered that there were several system notifications informing him that he could reveal his name to the world and enter the Universal Rankings.

Joseph decided to set that thought aside for a moment as he clicked on another set of information.
This time, it was about the system of Item Enhancement in the world of Victory.
Item Enhancement in the world of Victory required the usage of the "Essence of the World". 
These Essences could only be farmed or discovered, but could never be made by human hands.
The enhancement of items has a hundred percent chance of success for the first six enhancements. After +6, there's a specific chance of failure and every failure, degrades, not only the number of enhancement on the item but also its durability. 
Ten percent of durability would be lost for every enhancement failure.
Once an item's durability reached zero. It would be permanently destroyed...
The max durability of an item could only be recovered by sacrificing the same item to increase the maximum durability of the higher-grade counterpart of that item. 
The punishment for failing an enhancement was quite harsh but there was an option to guarantee its success.
 It was through sacrificing three times more "Essence of the World" than normal.
It was called, "Brute-Force Enhancement".
Using this method, success would be guaranteed but it was incredibly wasteful than the well-known and most used method of increasing one's chances for a successful enhancement which was known as failure stacking.
Each enhancement failure gave the user a higher chance of enhancement success in their next enhancement. 
Users can stack these enhancement-failure bestowed chances so that they could upgrade a piece of higher-ranking equipment than the equipment they were using to stack their failures.
Accessory enhancement doesn't require "Essence of the World"...
To successfully enhance an Accessory, one required the same accessory that's subject for enhancement as the sacrifice for a chance to increase the grade of the Accessory. 
If the user failed on this enhancement, the Accessory subject to the enhancement along with the sacrifice disappears.
These are the tiers dedicated to items.
[White] - Uncommon
[Green] - Common
[Blue] - Rare
[Purple] - Epic
[Orange] - Legendary
[Gold] - Golden
[Black] - Mythical
Armors and Weapons can be upgraded to +20.
Accessories can only be upgraded three times.
"What an incredibly harsh system of enhancement. The rarity of the items needed for enhancement alone is incredibly rare, yet the system is also like this? That's like a slap to the face of everyone who is trying their best to farm for those enhancement materials!" Joseph whispered in astonishment.
He closed the wiki and checked for the time.
Great, there's only about thirty minutes left before the maintenance ends... What else should I do before the maintenance ends? Hmmm, should I go and clean some parts of this house? Or should I go watch some dank memes on the internet? Nah, it's too unproductive...
Joseph sat there, a frown could be seen on his face as he was thinking about what he should do to pass the time.

Now that I think about it. I'm actually pretty lonely. It's quite sad that apart from the world of Victory. I literally have nothing else to do, nor to visit.
 I don't even have a hobby apart from playing games. Sigh... How did I become like this? I was a pretty good table tennis player and even had the chance to go nationals back then, but thanks to that tragedy...
Sigh... I should probably visit that club sometime.

Joseph casually glanced on the desktop notification, but his eyes widened in shock when he realized that it was an official email from P.H Works.

Joseph never clicked as fast as he did ever in his life than what he had done right now.
Opening that email, he saw that it was a message of congratulations from the developers...

Joseph didn't know what to say.
He speechlessly downloaded the attachment within the email and 3D Printed the Access Keycard on the 3D Printer that he had on his desk. A few minutes later, he now had the Access Keycard for the headquarters of P.H Works. 
It would be a lie to say that Joseph didn't feel any excitement.
But setting that excitement aside, Joseph felt somewhat weird.
It was the first time for him to bask on the prestige and glory of being the first Mythical Ranked player so he didn't know how to react.
 But since he understood that as the first Mythical Ranked Player, he would encounter more situations like this in the future so he must know how to act in regards to those situations. 
Let's practice some acting techniques for now. I know how to act like a tough charlatan, but I don't know how to act like a dignified charlatan!
Joseph opened his browser and researched some videos about the past dictators of the world and how they acted throughout their careers. 
Time swiftly passed and when Joseph was done with his self-taught acting lessons...
The emergency maintenance was finally done and he returned to the world of Victory.
As soon as he logged-in, several system notifications popped out and quickly obstructed his view.

Explanation (by order):

Origin Essence and Supreme Dao initiated the creation of cosmos. From them came forth the Three Divine Essences (Chaos, Genesis & Spirit Source) they are the body, energy and soul of the cosmos. These energies are beneficial to Cultivators but also harmful because these essences are extremely wild in nature since they are created from Origin Essence and Supreme Dao and they are basically the source of all. Only a wisp of them is truly what helpful to a Practitioner.

From the Three Divine Essences, Yin and Yang was born. Yin & Yang is the duality present in all aspects of the cosmos. They describe the opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected and interdependent in the cosmos and how they mutually give rise to each other because of that Five Elements and Three Treasures are created. Five Elements are said to be the fundamental elements which compose everything in the cosmos, they are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. 

However, Three Treasures are the three essential energies which are said to sustain life of a world. They are created from the Spiritual Energy of Heaven and Earth, the natural energy of a world. The Three Treasures are what Mortals need to walk the path of Martial Arts. The Three Treasures are the Essence, Qi and Spirit. Like the Three Divine Essences; Essence is basically the life blood, Qi is the breath of life or spiritual energy and Spirit is the mind or consciousness, the only difference is Three Treasures came from a world, the natural energy in it. Three Treasures are said to be the lower 'version' of Three Divine Essences, they are milder and gentler. They are more suitable for Practitioners because it is generated from the world they live in. 

And from Five Elements and Three Treasures derived more types of Energies such as Blood Essences, Demonic Energy and a lot more.

Bazuul had dwelled in the library for hours now, and his search for knowledge about the Primal Heaven Origin Return constitution caused him to stumble upon many other things. It created a feeling in him, akin to one back on Earth. Reminiscing to a time when he was scrolling through a wiki page and inadvertently created a plethora of new tabs filled with other topics on that wiki page. Drowning himself in them, consuming knowledge for hours on end.

In the end, though, he hadn't found much about his constitution.

Although through the bits and pieces he found he could slightly grasp the meaning behind the sentence, "As the vessel of darkness and light, he also wields the forces of the darkness and light uncontested." It merely meant that his resistance towards incoming forces of darkness and light, be it magic in nature or otherwise, was incredibly high. Still, there were some lines to be drawn. In his case, his constitution was a carrier of darkness and primarily sunlight. Though he had consumed some moonlight before, he could only take a tiny amount and slowly turn it into sunlight. 

Being a male human, the action of making his body a carrier of moonlight would potentially cripple him for years or even life. The excessive amount of yin energy would completely invert the flow of qi inside his body, which in turn could simultaneously burst all of his meridians.

This brings us to our next point, the interplay of those forces. Sunlight and moonlight were pretty much immune to each other, and could to some extent feed off each other. Lending their counter-parts strength. Darkness and sunlight, as was the case with Bazuul's constitution, could co-exist with each other in its own boundaries but were inherently weak against each other once confronted, which somehow made them evenly matched forces. Darkness and moonlight, on the other hand, was not something that could co-exist. The mere presence of moonlight energies, basically cleansed the area of darkness, erasing it whole.

Thus making the Primal Heaven Origin Return constitution only possible with a male body. As a hypothetical female bearer of this constitution would most likely explode into smithereens shortly after birth due to the in-fighting of these primal forces within one's body.

Not even a day had passed since his stint in the library, and he had already found himself meeting with a certain someone somewhere in the city. He had visited Ela'nar frequently the days before. Obviously, they had cultivated together, eaten out, and even went on a hike. Ever since that phenomenon occurred and both their inner worlds connected via a bridge, they had mutually agreed to be one another's without really talking about it.

Much like in their previous life, yet different. It was more of a feeling that could not be grasped, and maybe due to her youthful embarrassment, Ela'nar didn't dare to label it as love. It was nonetheless a clear and unrefutably real feeling that could not be denied. A connection unlike any she could claim she had with her family. Obviously almost the same counted for Bazuul.

This time Bazuul and Ela'nar had met outside to cultivate together in a particular place they had found on their hike. Bazuul had already told her about his constitution and the mirror inside the library. Thus he suggested that both should attempt to enter the library together.

After an hour of following the river flowing along the mountain, both ultimately reached the spot.

Finally, they stood where the river turned into a waterfall, at the edge of a cliff that protruded horizontally out of the mountain. Giving both a splendid view over the whole of the city. The beauty of the constant thunder, mixed with a pallet of grey and anthracite colors was hard to describe to anyone who had not witnessed it. After they had savored this sight for a bit, they sat down and focused on the task at hand. Each entering their inner worlds in close proximity instantly returned the bridge to its full mass rather than the spectral form it had when they were separated from one another. Bazuul and Ela'nar stepped on it with care from each of their sides before they started advancing, eventually meeting in the middle.

"Let's try it!" Bazuul said while holding her hand with a slight smirk on his face.

As if it could help Bazuul tightened his grip on her hands and then focused his mind before he transitioned over to the akashic library with Ela'nar still by his side. It became apparent to him that he could take people with him this way, also, doing so without a hitch. Going by himself or taking someone with him felt no different. Meanwhile, Ela'nar was unable to hide her flabbergasted expression. The sheer amount of books. The ceiling filled with stars and the mechanical device which Bazuul called a "cosmic clock" were all things that could easily be imagined, but to see it with one's own eyes, was vastly different.

After readjusting her heart, Bazuul led her to the mirror. It flashed the same way as before once she stood in front of it and shortly after the white lines slowly formed into words.

<Ela'nar Luminaire>

Ela'nar grew confused when she read the third line in the mirror. Scared to some extent, even. Eventually, in order to feel some sort of relieve, she forced Bazuul to stand in front of the mirror. Which in turn caused him to break out in cold sweat by the thought of how to explain...well Earth. After doing so all he could do was chuckle uncomfortably. He tried to leave out some parts but had a hard time keeping secrets from her with how things stood now. After all, the way she looked at him, the way she manifested herself in front of him after he had let the mirror reveal his information reminded him more of a housewife about to reprimand her husband. The only thing missing was a rolled up newspaper in her hand ready to be smashed on top of his head.

When he had explained her the - to him - apparent difference between reincarnation and transmigration, parts of his life, basically everything, she grew even more incensed before finally calming down. She only grew infuriated because he had confirmed her doubt that they maybe had met each other in their previous life. She somehow feared that the way he acted towards her was not because of the her now, but because of the one in the past. Eventually, though, she calmed down. Mostly because of how he explained the similarities between the two. As for example, how they had tiny quirks and ticks that were still present on Tiamat. The way she smiled, rubbed her hands when nervous, among other things, and that although she did not remember her past life. Characteristically, there was undeniably a resemblance to the former. Luckily she spared him the question of her death.

Once all doubts were cleared up, she also felt a tinge of guilt in her heart. After all, unlike Bazuul, she remembered nothing of the past. In order to disperse these thoughts and emotions, both actually skimmed the library for more information about the Jade Empress Eclipse constitution.

Many hours later, Bazuul laid in his bed back in the embassy. Although it was in the middle of the night, the happenings earlier just would not let his mind rest.

Now that Bazuul had confirmed that she did not remember her past life, he was kind of torn about her knowing more. Unsure whether he should anticipate her coming off age ceremony or not. Generally speaking, the lord of the underworld Velarmar, had said that only the most useful of memories would return, but he had also noted that Bazuul would reincarnate into a prepared fetus. Instead, he had transmigrated into the body of a then, less than agreeable character.

He had also mentioned that the coming off age ceremony would be at the age of sixteen. Yet still, Ela'nar had not recovered her past memories. Of course, this could mean several things. One could be that she simply did not have her ceremony until now. Which was unlikely, given that she would turn seventeen in about two months. The second option would be that it was merely a cultural difference, and thus, her coming of age ceremony would be at a later age. Either way, what clearly became apparent to Bazuul was that even a towering figure such as Velamar was unable to control the fate of people. As such, his words had to always be taken as a glass half empty rather than full.

Following this line thought, Bazuul suddenly wondered about what would happen on his coming of age ceremony? What exactly would someone like him, who was aware of his past life, remember? A life past his past life?

Far away, they saw a grand altar. The altar that was made from unknown materials had been split apart and Chaos Qi was flowing out from the crack.
Beside the altar was a massive skeleton, an innate Dao skeleton created from pure Dao. The skeleton was emitting a vague Dao aura.
This skeleton had eight heads, each facing a different direction. Behind its back were four pairs of massive bone wings that were in the pose of preparing the take off.

"The Eight Barrens Deity King!"
The four Imperial Emperors took in a long and nervous breath; this skeleton here was the Deity King of Eight Barrens in the Dark Age!
Each of his heads, arms, wings, and weapons all represented a barren and all together, they formed eight barrens!
However, such innate gods were no more!
The innate gods that represented the eight barrens now were usually birthed from worship and were usually innate gods or innate demon gods; if they were birthed from the worships of celestial races, then they were innate gods and vice versa. They were no longer able to unify the celestial and demon power and the eight barrens!
Even the four Imperial Emperors had never heard of any innate gods that were born inherently with the eight barrens from the heaven and earth. Maybe there were some hidden from plain sight, or maybe there really weren't any anymore. 
Hence, the only one that unified the eight barrens they had ever seen was this skeleton before them.
However, the Eight Barrens Deity King was already dead; a hole was opened up in his eight heads as an unknown powerful being erased his life and spirit!
"What kind of existence killed him?" the four Imperial Emperors were terrified.
Far away, Zhong Yue was already very close to the altar and he slowly approached Eight Barren Deity King 's skeleton. Just like an ant, he struggled to climb onto the Dao skeleton.
"The little brat Yi is trying to collect Eight Barren Deity King 's skeleton and weapon!"
The four Imperial Emperors were swallowed by greed, which caused them to immediately rush toward Eight Barren Deity King's skeleton.
Eight Barren Deity King's skeleton was extremely huge like mountains, and when the four Imperial Emperors arrived, they each cast avatars only to be slammed back into their original form after their avatars were crushed.
The heaven and earth Dao here was completely chaotic and the avatar was a technique used to enhance one's power through the law of heaven and earth and its Dao.
If they cast an avatar, their size would be increased to a point where they were not smaller than the Eight Barrens Deity King' Dao skeleton.
However, without being unable to perform Avatar, all they had left was to climb with their own bodies. And although as Imperial Emperors, their bodies were incredibly powerful, they were still tremendously tiny before the Eight Barrens Deity King's skeleton.
Long Zhi revealed her true form, a creature with nine heads, nine tails with a dragon body, "Forth" was one with a human face and bird's body, "Fifth" was a celestial being with a human face and leopard tattoo and "Second" was one with a human face and tiger body.
The four Imperial Emperors climbed quickly and soon caught up with Zhong Yue.
Their speed were relatively different; "Fourth" had wings, hence he was the fastest, Long Zhi's speed was also incredible as she moved quickly by leaping around. As compared to these two, the other lady Imperial Emperor and the "Second" were slower but they were still fast nonetheless.
At this moment, Zhong Yue was already on Eight Barren Deity King's rib cage and he was attempting to climb onto the arm. The arm was on top of the chest, and so after getting past the arm, he would be able to get close to the weapon in the arm.
And the innate divine weapon in this arm was the Light Water Bottle that represented the Dao of Kan Barren!
Running along this bone, something enormous soon cast a shadow over Zhong Yue's figure! He quickly stopped and a celestial being with a bird's body landed in front of him and started charging at him before he started spinning rapidly!
Shua—
As he spun quickly, the feathers on his wings sliced towards Zhong Yue like blades!
With a humongous body like a mountain, tremendous speed, and immensely huge feathers, the scene was truly astonishing.
"Chi Song! The Stone Sentinel Maze!"
Zhong Yue shouted and Chi Song in his Yuan Shen secret realms immediately activated the Stone Sentinel Maze; as the countless gods activated the Stone Sentinel Maze, Zhong Yue turned and entered the core of Stone Sentinel Maze.
With a simple thought, Zhong Yue was about to cast a technique. And that was when he groaned in pain; just as he was about to visualize a technique, the totem Dao shattered.
Zheng zheng zheng—
The blades like feathers sliced onto his body and with only three attacks, Zhong Yue was almost cut in half!
He immediately backed off and with a spit, he spat out the inner core, which turned into the innate celestial and demonic force field. As soon as the blade like feathers cut right into the forcefield, they were immediately stopped and the celestial being was halted.
Zhong Yue managed to get his breath for the moment; the three slicing attacks almost sliced him apart after almost severing his spines.
Here, energy was not functional and this placed him at a great disadvantage; his greatest asset was his understandins toward the Dao. Through Stone Sentinel Maze, he was able to reach the peak of Creator and go toe to toe with Imperial Emperors.
In the level of Creators, he was undefeatable and his understandings toward the Dao bestowed him with the power to face off with peak Imperial Emperors!
However, without being able to cast anything, he was at a disadvantage as he could only fight with his body, inner core, Yuan Shen and other basics.
Meanwhile, upon his feather attack being nullified, the bird body celestial being smirked as he attacked with his claws, "You little brat! Hand over the herbs now! You are Imperial Emperor Xian Tian's servant and with our relationship with him, you are partially considered our servant. Resist anymore and you will be put down!"
Zhong Yue summoned his inner core back and his legs turned into the Innate Golden Crow's claws and clashed with the celestial being.
The celestial being smirked again upon the strength from Zhong Yue's claws that was equivalent to him but not as good as his in terms of handling.
And that became a deadly weakness. Even Zhong Yue could forcefully enhance his strength to the Creator level through the gods and Stone Sentinel Maze's power, it was after all, not his own power. Hence, upon using this power, he was not able to control it freely as he did with his own power.
Just as the celestial being wanted to flip Zhong Yue up and throw him to the ground, Zhong Yue slammed his other claw towards the celestial being, forcing him to fly up but not before Zhong Yue launched another attack.
"I'll rip you apart and take the herbs myself!"
The celestial being grinned and channeled power into his claws as he tried to rip Zhong Yue into shreds, "After taking the herbs myself, I will become a monarch, a Heavenly Monarch! With that, the others will not be able to keep up with me! Once I get my hands onto the eight innate eight barren weapons, I will be invincible. At that point, I will claim the throne for myself!"
Wings grew out from Zhong Yue's back and with a flap, he flew up and reached out his third leg to launch an attack towards the celestial being's chest.
Caught off guard, the celestial being was stunned as he only had two legs, both of which were preoccupied. This left him completely exposed to Zhong Yue's attack!
Zhong Yue's claw stabbed right into his chest, pierced through the rib cage and headed straight to the heart!
Ka cha ka cha—
His bones broke and goosebumps were all over. He quickly flapped his wings and struck his feathers towards Zhong Yue.
Hong long—
The Desolate Lightning Heavenly Furnace emerged from Zhong Yue's body, shrouding him completely and it was destroyed just like that. The feather blades continued to swing towards him and though the blades could not kill him due to his immortal body, they would still kill the gods in him.
By that time, the Stone Sentinel Maze will be stopped and the gods would be killed!
Besides, the Stone Sentinel Maze must not be stopped as Zhong Yue needed its power.
"Innate Secular World!"
Zhong Yue roared, had the Secular World stretched out and stopped the feather blades. The pressure borne by the Innate Secular World became even more intense and on the other side, the celestial being protected his heart with his Secular World so as to stop Zhong Yue.
With a flip, the innate divine sabers appeared in Zhong Yue's hands. Zhong Yue swung the sabers towards the celestial being and they were fended off by the celestial being's own weapons.
Zheng zheng zheng—
Zhong Yue swung his sabers and in the blink of an eye, he had hurled out a few hundred attacks. Suddenly, the celestial being felt the weight in his hands vanish and was shocked after witnessing his weapons shattered under Zhong Yue's barrage.
With another swing, Zhong Yue hurled his saber towards the celestial being, who dare not try to fend it off bare handedly. The celestial being raised his wings towards Zhong Yue's sabers, only to watch his feather blades shattered in horror.
Zhe—
His right wing was severed and the celestial being fell from the skies but not before shrieking in pain.
Zhong Yue retracted his wings after he knocked his opponent down from the skies and just as he landed back onto the huge rib cage, Long Zhi was already onto him. Upon seeing the approaching Long Zhi, Zhong Yue immediately flapped his wings and flew towards the Light Water Bottle in the Eight Barren Deity King's arm.
Long Zhi arrived in a blink of an eye; she was already at the part where the rib cage and the arm bone connected. With a swing of her hip, she launched her nine tails towards Zhong Yue, wrapping onto him like white silk and dragging him back down.
Zhong Yue, however, put up a fight by hugging onto the massive finger bone of the Eight Barrens Deity King and upon realizing she could not pull Zhong Yue back down, Long Zhi shrunk her tails and used them as a chain that pulled her towards her target.
To prevent Long Zhi from getting close, Zhong Yue swung his sabers toward the tails. On the other hand, knowing the tremendous power in Zhong Yue's saber, Long Zhi immediately let go of Zhong Yue.
The two then started jumping around from one finger bone to another, all the while hurling attacks at one another. Suddenly, Zhong Yue flew up only to be caught by Long Zhi's tails again and after he launched himself into the skies, he also brought Long Zhi with him.

Things You Should Know
Honestly, judging from the title itself, one’s initial impression would be that the story is simply another boring and cliche cultivation novel. Or at least, that was what I thought at first when I was first introduced to this novel by a friend. But to my surprise, and most likely to yours, (if you read it, that is ...) you will soon come to realize that the plot gets very interesting, involving many characters from the ancient and primeval eras of Chinese mythology.
Every story has their own charms, and every character has their own tale to tell. And this, is the tale of a young man fighting not for himself, but for the betterment of humanity. The plot starts to get really good at around chapter 50-ish, and that’s when the roller coaster starts to rise higher and higher to never come down again (literally, it ended in a climax).

So during the translation process, I faced a lot of difficulties regarding naming. Trying to match them with the previous translation was hellish, since they weren't that correct in that translation either. It's also kind of difficult to remember all the nations and whatnot, so I put together a little 'wiki'. It will be updated regularly the further I translate.

Geography:
 - Basically there are 2 worlds, which were translated as 'Lower Realm' and 'Higher Realm' in the previous translation (P.T.). I referred to the original and they aren't correct. So from now on they are literally translated as 'Small World' (小世界) and 'Big World' (大世界). Small World is the current world all the characters are in. Big World was mentioned but not explained/explored. 
- Right in the middle of the Small World is a region (where Miao Yi went in in the first few chapters). It was translated as 'Boundless Secular World'. In the original it's '万丈红尘' (lit. Ten Thousands Miles of Rest Dust). Well, it's true '红尘' can be translated as secular world, but in my opinion it should be translated literally. In the first chapter, it was described as endless blood-shaded mist anyway. Also, in Chinese, '万丈' (ten thousands miles) means boundless, endless, immeasurable, etc. But there is a country called Boundless Nation, so using 'Boundless Secular World' was a bad idea. I'm stumped for a better translation as well. So after some deliberation, I will just use 'Endless Red Dust Region'. If you can think of a better translation, let me know.
- On the east side of this Endless Red Dust Region, there is a crescent shaped land, which is divided into 3 nations: Celestial Nation, Boundless Nation, and Buddha Nation.
- On the west side there is another crescent, formed by other 3 nations: Devil Nation, Ghost Nation, and Yao Nation. I wonder why they didn't translate Yao (妖). It means Demon. So from now on it's Demon Nation! Devil and Demon are different folks! So how to differentiate between them? In the context of this novel, Devil Nation citizen are human, they just cultivate some devil arts or something. On the other hand, in the Demon Nation, there are demons (of course), monsters, but they can cultivate and transform into human. That's it.
- At the tips of the crescents there is a desert called 'Flowing Cloud Dune Sea'. It didn't mention the north or the south tip though. Or maybe it did but I missed it.
- A little note on the places where the sages (best cultivators and heads of the nations) resides, basically the 'capitals' of the nations. I think there are 4 that were mentioned, 'Realm Beyond Heaven', 'Boundless Realm', 'Great Devil Realm' and 'Realm of Ten Thousands Demons'. Okay too many realm and world for my taste. They are freaking capitals. They have to be changed. 
     + Realm Beyond Heaven - Changed to Sky Beyond Domain
     + Boundless Realm - Changed to Boundless Domain
     + Great Devil Realm - Changed to Great Devil Domain
     + Realm of Ten Thousand Demons - Change to Ten Thousands Demons Domain
- Lastly, the political structure of Celestial Nation (where Miao Yi is from). The previous translator did a very lazy job with the naming:
     + The entire nation is divided into 12 domains (exclude the capital), each has a name, following the Chinese zodiac. The previous translator named them First Earthy Branch to Twelve Earth Branch...which is not wrong, but funny. I will change them back like this: Zi Domain (1st/Rat), Chou Domain (2nd/Ox), Yin Domain (3rd/Tiger), Mao Domain (4th/Rabbit), Chen Domain (5th/Dragon), Si Domain (6th/Snake), Wu Domain (7th/Horse), Wei Domain (8th/Goat), Shen Domain (9th/Monkey), You Domain (10th/Rooster), Xu Domain (11th/Dog), Hai Domain (12th/Pig).
     + Each Domain is ruled by an Overlord, and consists of 10 Palaces.
     + Each Palace consists of 10 Halls
     + Each Hall consists of 10 Manors
     + Each Manor consists of 10 Mountains

Well, to explain it I would need to rewind everything that happened in the last 2 weeks. I was reading quite an interesting book, something like a magical bestiary. After that, he gave me a long speech about the importance of adaptability and self-reliance. And studying abroad helps me with that. Not that I was against it. Actually, I would be the happiest person in the world if I could just never come back to Matou residence. However, it would be too good to be true. In my past life, I frequently visited the type-moon wiki, and I have read Sinji's page. So, I know that Sinji was sent to study abroad in order to prevent him from learning about his uncle's death. The beast itself is Phantom Netherdrake or how it will be known in the far future if my theory is correct it would be called Rainbow Salamander are giant lizard 3 meters tall whose skin changed color depending on how the light hit it and with basic telepathic abilities. After further research, I was able one more creature that comes from the same universe the Bizarro Bane. A shapeshifter monster whose original appearance is a blurry, transparent shadow with a ghostly-blue single eye. Around the eye were similar eyes but smaller. If I am right then the universe that I resaid in is not only known through Fate series but also was described in the particular web novel the lord of the mysteries. And the ritual that I am going to perform is one used by the protagonist of the said novel that was able to perform it while being a normal human without any supernatural abilities.  I know that the probability of my conjecture being true is minuscule, but it is my only hope to obtain the power needed for my survival that I have found in almost half a year of time since my transmigration. I have already placed food in the four corners of the room and all what is left for me is to make four counterclockwise steps and chant. Now let's start.

Instead, it looked more eastern, like a combination of ancient Chinese and Middle Eastern architecture with a little bit of Minoan added. There was no bronze table with 22 seats anywhere in sight and the palace or castle was so enormous that it made me feel like an ant, and the fog was really mysterious vibrating with some unknown power. And when I looked under my feet instead of floor or land, I saw an endless night sky full of stars. And then I heard the voice full of power and mystery that was both male and female at the same time.
