CHAPTER TWELVE:

The next day Harry had 'Remedial Potions', and as he made his way down to the dungeons he considered the previous evening's happenings. He had barely been able to think of anything else all day, and he felt the only reason why Hermione didn't scold him for his inattention was that she was preoccupied with it, too.

Knocking on the heavy wood door, he waited until the harsh voice called "Enter," before opening it. To his surprise, Professor Dumbledore was there, apparently having a conversation with the Potions Master.

"Ah, Harry," he said benevolently, and Harry gave a wan smile.

"How are you, Professor?" he asked civilly, noting that the Headmaster's eyes were twinkling and looking away to meet dark eyes instead. "Professor Snape," he greeted, jerkily inclining his head to the professor. "Am I early?" He knew full well that he wasn't, and hoped that Snape would take the opening – and he did.

"I doubt that you are even capable of arriving early to an appointment, Potter," the man sneered. "We will begin our lesson as soon as the Headmaster leaves. I suggest you sit and read chapter ten of this book," Snape said curtly, levitating a book onto a chair along the wall. "You were saying, Headmaster?"

Harry set his bag down beside the chair and picked up the book, reading the title as he sat down. It was a book on meditation and mental health. Opening it to chapter ten, Harry pretended to focus on the description of mind palaces while trying to listen in on the professors' conversation. They seemed to be discussing potions for the infirmary, and Harry was surprised to discover that Snape brewed almost the entire stock. His respect for the man went up when he realized that all the potions Madam Pompfrey had given him over the years had been brewed by this surly man. Eventually he decided that the conversation wasn't important and focused fully on the text, fully expecting Snape to quiz him on it afterwards. To his surprise, it turned out to be rather interesting, and Harry was soon immersed in the book, only occasionally listening in to the conversation to make sure that they weren't discussing anything important.

It didn't take much longer for Dumbledore to leave – though not before asking Harry a question or two while holding twinkling eye contact – and then Harry was alone with Snape.

An awkward silence fell while the two sized each other up, each finding that the other seemed different now.

"Can I speak freely, sir?" Harry asked, willfully suppressing the 'uh...' that had wanted to escape in front of his question.

Snape flicked his wrist once, then said, "You may." His expression didn't betray any of his thoughts, and suddenly instead of finding that hateful Harry found it admirable. Here was a man with full control over what he revealed to others.

"Ron, Hermione and I talked to my future self last night," he said promptly, "and he removed the spells from us." Harry hesitated, then ploughed on, "I wanted to apologize for the past few years, sir."

Snape's face remained perfectly expressionless for a full minute, during which Harry forced himself not to fidget – and then he smirked. "I never thought I'd live to see the day when a Potter apologizes to me," he drawled, his eyes intent. "The apology is accepted; although I have been led to believe that it is another who should apologize in your stead."

Harry's face darkened. "He has a lot to answer for," he said as levelly as he could. He had decided to show this man that he was not just the Gryffindor Golden Boy, who let his emotions dominate his actions, but also a Slytherin capable of keeping his emotions in check.

"Indeed." Although the word was spoken mildly, Harry thought he saw a glint of something dangerous in the Potions Master's eyes before the man turned away. "We will start from the beginning. I have here a set of books that I suggest you and the rest of the Golden Trio," he sneered the term, "read thoroughly." Pushing the set of books forward, the Potions Master fixed him with a fathomless look. "I would apologize for my treatment of you, but as in your case, another was responsible for my actions. Besides," he smirked, "you will learn that a Slytherin never apologizes."

"Yes, sir," Harry said, unable to keep a grin from his face. Grabbing his bag and the book Snape had given him to read, he moved forward to the desk. "Ron was wondering whether you'd be interested in a round of Veritaserum with our esteemed Headmaster," he said mildly as he set down his things; when he looked up he saw a satisfied smirk on the Potions Master's face.

"I may be," he replied just as mildly, and Harry smiled mischievously as they settled down for their first real lesson.

Meanwhile, another Harry was considering how to get at the Horcruxes. Hufflepuff's Cup was in the Lestrange vault, and as their closest relatives were the Blacks, the vault would go to the House of Black after their deaths. They would be the first Death Eaters to die when the Order started picking off the Inner Circle, Harry decided.

Then, there was the ring that had sped Dumbledore towards death in the other timeline. The question was whether to let Dumbledore fall for it again or whether to deal with it himself... He'd deal with that when he discussed the Horcruxes with the Headmaster; if he insisted to tag along then Harry wouldn't try hard to persuade him otherwise, and if he ended up putting on the ring again, well, Harry tried to persuade him not to join him... Harry grinned and moved on to the next one.

Nagini. Truth was that Severus would not be able to remain a spy for much longer if they were going to start picking off Death Eaters, and if Harry went back it would be to kill Snake Face, not to play the faithful follower. If he could deal with the remaining Horcruxes and as many Death Eaters as possible before he and Severus were summoned, then they could possibly deal with both Nagini and Snake Face at the same time... It would be an awfully close time frame to get that all done before Friday, though, seeing as it was already Tuesday evening... Harry grimaced. Okay; hold off on Death Eater assassinations until after the next summons. Focus on the Horcruxes; bargain with the goblins to get the Cup if necessary. After next summons, kill as many Death Eaters as possible as quickly as possible, and deal with snake and Snake Face at following summons. He couldn't help but feel that he was missing something, however, and it was with a heavy heart that he admitted to himself what it was that gave him pause.

Standing and walking into his bedroom, Harry crouched to rifle through the suitcase Dobby had brought him from the Black vault. He was sure that the scroll had been there in the other timeline...

A quarter hour later he had found the scroll he needed - the one with a spell that indicated whether an object was a Horcrux or not. Practicing until he was fairly sure that he had it right, Harry took a deep breath. Here goes nothing... Casting the spell at his head, Harry held his breath – and cursed violently when a red light flashed.

(A/N: Think of Eric being very forgetful this chapter as his brain decided to do a massive brain-fart and he wasn't really paying attention to anything the last couple of hours.)

The dwarf just stared at me with eyes that oozed confusion at my bad joke.

"Who the bloody fuck is this Harry Potter that you speak of?" He asked questioningly 

"Ok well you see, he's a magical wizard that survived being killed at a youn-"

"Never mind, just shut up. You're voice sounds so annoying."

Hearing this, I frowned slightly before coming up with a great idea. Using my powers, I made a copy of the entire harry potter series but had my powers change it so that it took place in this world instead of the harry potter world and such.

Pulling the set of books from out behind my back, I handed them to him with a smile on my face.

"Here, read these so that I can make references that you can understand."

He stared at me for a bit before leaving the jail-cell and locking it behind him. After that, he went back over to where he was sitting earlier and placed down the books on a nearby table and grabbed his book that he set down originally and started reading it again.

Once again, I frowned upon seeing him do this. 

With a bit of my powers, I made the books very tempting to read to convince him to actually read them. When my powers took affect, you could sometimes noticed slight movements of his head to gaze at the books temporarily before his head moved back to his book.

Each time he looked over at the harry potter books, his gaze became longer and longer each time till he eventually couldn't stop staring at them. 

With a big sigh, he closed his book and set it down. He picked up the first harry potter book and started reading.

'YES! MISSION SUCCESSFUL!' I exclaimed proudly mentally.

I sat down on the floor now that I accomplished my goal of reading the books I gave him. While sitting there, I contemplated what to do next and realized I forgot the entire reason I was doing these random thing in the first place.

I attempted to ponder these questions of life but before I could unravel the questions of the universe, I started to hear a lot of loud walking/stomping coming from the one doorway.

Stopping my questioning of life, I focused on the door waiting for someone to burst their way through. It didn't take long before it happened and a very angry looking dwarf burst through.

"NOW WHERE IS THE PRISONER THAT DARE LEARN OUR LANGUAGE!?!" Screamed the new dwarf with all his might.

The one dwarf who was sitting and reading burst up from his seat into and standing position and immediately saluted as quickly as he could.

"HE'S RIGHT THERE IN THE JAIL CELL SIR!" 

The angry dwarf turned his eyes to me. Inside his eyes looked to be the fury of a thousand suns exploding from anger that could make anyone fear him... Except for, well, me of course.

I just pointed dumbly at myself while sitting on the ground because I honestly forgotten everything that has lead to this moment as I was to busy messing around with the other dwarfs and such.

The angry dwarf stomped his way up over to me and got as close to the bars as he could before he literally stared down at me. After a minute or so of staring, he finally made his first move and tried to spit on me.

Somehow weirdly enough, the spit when it got within a foot of me did a 180 turn and sent itself flying back at the dwarf. It hit him directly on the forehead and his already pissed of angry face became even angrier as it started to steam and turn red from how angry he was.

"lieutenant!" He called out for some people behind him, "Grab the prisoner and bring him to the court room for him to be judged guilty."

His face was now one that looked purely sadistic as if he's been wanting to do this his entire life. Two  dwarfs broke off from the group of dwarfs and rushed to the entrance into the cell. One pulled a key ring from a pocket and started going through hundreds of them before he finally stopped upon one very small one.

Using this small key, he unlocked the door while his buddy entered immediately afterwards with a pair of handcuffs. He quickly attached them to my hands and attempted to pull me up from my sitting position so that he could force me to go where he wanted me to.

However, like another time which someone attempted this, I just sat there completely unmoving until I decided to have some pity and get up and follow them. Once I did, they started leading me through a bunch of passages until we got to a large open room that looked like a court house back on earth.

In the center where the judge would usually be, was a throne with a dwarf sitting in it with gold armor and a crown on his head.

Once I was in the center of the room, the very angry dwarf attempted to force me down on my knees but the outcome was him just getting heavily exhausted from the act of moving a immovable person. 

I just eventually sat down on the ground to get this over with and see what was going to happen. When that happened, the guy with the crown finally spoke up.

"Why have you brought this human here today General Atley?"

The angry dwarf who I just now found out was called General Atley, put his right hand over his heart and bowed down slightly.

"My king, this human here today has done something we forbid every race but dwarfs to do and learned our language. Just by doing that, he compromises a lot of work we've put into things by being able to decipher and now what we're actually saying."

The king nodded for a bit and Atley seeing what he was saying was getting a reaction out of the king, he continued speaking on and on for a good half hour. He kept throwing random fake information in there as well to make what I did sound even worse then what actually did.

And while listening to all this, I remembered finally what I actually did. I just asked them if something was wrong in dwarvish.

I continued listening again and once I heard Atley say something false, I finally spoke up.

"Objection!"

Two guards who were near me put their blades to my throat to intimidate me into not speaking.

"Atley is saying a bunch of fucking lies. All I did was ask in the only dwarvish I knew, "Is something wrong?" in hopes that it would slightly speed up the process of allowing me into the city. I didn't know that just knowing some dwarvish was illegal."

Atleys face grew redder and redder once again.

"SILENCE YOU MONGREL OF A BEAST. YOU ARE A WORTH-"

"Atley. Be quite please."

Atley upon hearing this turned to the king. His face was as pale as snow and his previous anger at me turned to fear of the king.

The Dwarven king slowly got out of his seat and made his way up to me.

"Human... Who're you? I tell how strong everyone is by looking at them but when I look at you... I feel nothing but my very existence attempting to get away from you... If I may know, who-, no. WHAT are you?"

"So you're saying your family have house-elf too?" Chris asked.
"Yeah. For almost hundred years. It's nice you know, my mother doesn't feel very much lonely with them. They're very faithful." Jason said eating some Every Flavour Beans.
It was Saturday afternoon, Chris and Jason were talking, sitting under a tree, a little far from the lake.
"They? How many house-elves you have?" Chris asked, taking some Every Flavour Beans from Jason.
"Two. Fib and Kat." Jason replied. " I always prefer Fib to do my works."
"Why?"
"Kat is female elf. She is over protective in every way, she'll report every time she finds something weird in my room and she is also very bossy; 'young master Jason shouldn't do that. Young master should eat healthy food. Young master should do that... shouldn't behave like this.' It's too much for me." Jason said with a sigh.
Chris laughed and put another one from Every Flavour Beans in her mouth.
"You only brought the sweet and salty ones, didn't you?" She asked raising her eyebrows.
"I don't like the other flavours. So I always separate them first." Jason said casually. "Easy spell. It'll take two days to learn."
"Great. Teach me later." Chris smiled and looked at the lake. On the other side of the lake Ron and Hermione were helping Harry with his bubble charm.
"Isn't that Potter and gang?" Jason asked, also looking at them.
"Yup."
"What're they doing?"
"Practicing the bubble charm." Chris replied. "For the second task."
"Bubble charm? Nice. Effective way to breath under water." Jason replied. "But it takes months to master and the second task is just one week away."
"I know I'm also worried about him." Chris said with a sigh.
"You're always worried about others." Jason said rolling his eyes.
"They're my friends Jason and Harry's luck is too bad to trust." Chris replied. 
"Whatever. You should be safe." Jason said. "Well do you still have the dagger I sent you, when we were in first year?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Keep it. It's made by Kat. It'll never fail you." Jason replied.
"It's made by a house-elf?"
"Yes. Elf magic is really different from us. Technically they're more stronger than us, that's why wizards made them slave and trained them like this so they never could be a threat to wizards." Jason said seriously. "I think they did the right thing. I mean do you know they can even Apparate and Disappearate in places where other's can't. It can be really dangerous if they decided to go against wizards one day."
"Like even in Hogwarts?" Chris asked curiously.
"Yeah. Even inside the castle."
"Wow." Chris replied, as she was deep in thoughts about the elves.
"Hey, what're you doing on next Hogsmeade trip?" Jason asked after sometime.
"Are you asking me out to Hogsmeade, Fawley?" Chris asked raising an eyebrow.
"Kind of." Jason smirked. "You know I can't hope that everytime I'll bump into you in Hogwarts grounds and you'll decide to stay and talk to me under a tree."
Chris laughed.
"Fine. But you've to say hi to my friends."
"What kind of condition is this?" Jason asked.
"It's just a hi, Jason." Chris replied.
"Alright." Jason said rolling his eyes. "For you."
"That's cute." Chris chuckled. 
Jason rolled his eyes again.

"This is hopeless." Hermione slammed a book on the Gryffindor table at lunchtime, looking frustrated. "I don't know what to do."
"What happened?" Ginny asked.
"Harry is still struggling with his bubble charm." Hermione said sitting beside Chris. "His bubble is still weak to survive one hour."
"But the second task is in two days." Colin said looking shocked.
"Exactly how will he..?" Luna said.
"No idea." Hermione said breathlessly. "He is nervous too. He is still working with Ron near the lake."
"We should've thought about some backup plan." Ginny said. "Is it too late now?"
"Maybe." Chris said cooly. "It's time to visit the library again, I guess. Let's see if there something which can help him. Today after dinner?"
"Ok." Hermione replied.
But they found nothing. Nothing at all which can help with this sort of situation. Harry went off food again. He tried to practice the bubble charm day and night but he couldn't breath inside the lake more than twenty minutes or thirty minutes. If thats how Harry goes in the lake for the task, he was going to drown.
The evening before the second task, as Harry was still working on his bubble charm with Ron; Chris, Ginny, Luna, Colin and Hermione sat on the library to find something else. Though they didn't found anything in last two days, Hermione was still hopeful.
"I don't reckon it can be done," said Ginny's voice flatly from the other side of the table. "There's nothing. Nothing. Closest was that thing to dry up puddles and ponds, that Drought Charm, but that was nowhere near powerful enough to drain the lake."
"There must be something," Hermione muttered, moving a candle closer to her. Her eyes were so tired she was poring over the tiny print of Olde and Forgotten Bewitchments and Charmes with her nose about an inch from the page. "They'd never have set a task that was undoable."
Chris was checking a charms book and Luna and Colin were looking into Weird Wizarding Dilemmas and Their Solutions.
"Oh this is no use," Hermione said, snapping shut another book. "Who on earth wants to make their nose hair grow into ringlets?"
"I wouldn't mind," said Fred Weasley's voice. "Be a talking point, wouldn't it?"
All of them looked up from their books, Fred and George had just emerged from behind some bookshelves.
"What're you two doing here?" Ginny asked.
"Looking for Hermione," said George. "McGonagall wants you, Hermione."
"Why?" said Hermione, looking surprised.
"Dunno … she was looking a bit grim, though," said Fred.
"We're supposed to take you down to her office," said George.
Hermione looked at Chris then to Ginny.
"It's alright. You go, we'll continue." Ginny said. "We're going to take these books to common room."
"Ok. I'll see you in the common room, then." Hermione said getting up.
"Do you reckon where Ron is?" George asked. "We're supposed to take him there too."
"He's near the lake.." Hermione said as they left.
At eight o'clock, Madam Pince had extinguished all the lamps and Chris, Ginny and Colin took many books to the Gryffindor tower. Luna said she'll check her Ravenclaw common room books.
They sat in a corner and started looking into the books.
"Harry should come back." Colin said worriedly. "It's too late to go inside the lake."
"Go call him if you can." Chris replied. "A extra pair of eyes will help."
"Ok." Colin said as he and Ginny ran outside to call Harry.
Crookshanks crawled into Chris's lap and curled up, purring deeply. 
"Hey Chris." Neville said as he sat on the opposite chair to Chris after some time.
"Hey Neville." Chris yawned.
"You look tired." Neville replied. "What're you looking for in so many books?"
"Something to help Harry in tomorrow's task." Chris said.
"What is it?" 
"He have to go down the lake and bring back something they took from him. But the tricky part is he have to breath under water for one hour." Chris replied.
"Oh. So he needs something to help him breath under water?" Neville asked thinking.
"Yup."
"Oh I know how to... wait." Neville said suddenly and ran to their dormitory.
Chris looked up surprised and waited as Neville emerged from the stairs.
"Look." He panted as he held up the book: Magical Water Plants of the Mediterranean.
Chris looked at it as he opened a page.
"Gillyweed?" 
"Yes. It creates gill in you, to breath under water." Neville grinned. "I was just reading it today. Professor Moody gave it to me few days ago, as Professor Spourt told him that I'm good in Herbology."
"Professor Moody?" Chris looked more surprised.
"Yes. But I don't know where you will get that." Neville said not noticing Chris's surprised face.
'There's definitely something wrong here. Why's Professor Moody so keen to help Harry?'  'He also helped Cedric.'
"Chris!"
"Oh yes. I think Snape have it." Chris said. "I heard him talking about it the other day."
"But you can't ask from Snape. He'll never..." Neville looked frightened.
"Ask Snape what?" Harry asked as he, Ginny and Colin returned to the common room.
"There's a plant which will help you breath under water." Chris said. "If only your bubble charm doesn't work."
"I'm working on it." Harry said, looking nervous. "I'm going to work all night."
Chris sighed.
"Snape have the Gillyweed which will help you. Now how do I get that from Snape." She muttered. "He'll not give it if we ask... we can't break into his office.... but...."
"It's impossible." Harry collapsed on a chair.
"Harry you haven't eat anything." Ginny said. "You skipped lunch and dinner. If you continue like this then you'll not have strength to go under water tomorrow."
"Ginny's right Harry. Let's go to the kitchen and..." Colin said.
"Wait. Kitchen." Chris's face lit up. "Kitchen. We need to go to the kitchen."
"What?" Neville asked.
"Dobby. Harry do you think Dobby will do anything for you?" Chris asked.
"I don't know. Maybe yes." Harry said. "Wait. What're you...?"
"No time to explain. It's already nine o'clock. Get up. We need to go to the Kitchen." Chris said getting up, forgetting that Crookshanks was on her lap. Crookshanks hissed angrily as he landed on the floor, he looked at Chris in disbelief.
"Sorry Crookshanks." Chris muttered as she scratched his ears, bending over him.
Crookshanks purred happily then walked away, with his bot­tlebrush tail in the air.

Chris, Harry, Ginny, Colin and Neville ran towards the Great Hall. From there went down to the fruit bowl painting, tickled the pear and entered the kitchen.
As soon as they entered the kitchen, a squealing voice came running, "Harry Potter, sir! Harry Potter!"
It was Dobby. Almost instantly other house-elves gathered around them. Chris understood the reason behind this much attention, first the house-elves just finished their work and second they saw The Harry Potter.
"Do Harry Potter need anything, sir?" Dobby squeaked loudly. "Would Harry Potter like a cup of tea?"
"No.. It's..." Harry looked at Chris.
"Dobby, I need to talk to you and can you all give us some cakes, every kind of cakes." Chris said to the other house-elves.
They all started working hurriedly. Chris pulled Harry and Dobby aside and ask Ginny and Colin to look around so no one can eavesdrop.
"What's it Miss?" Dobby asked.
"Dobby! Harry Potter needs a big help. Will you help him?" Chris whispered.
"Dobby will do anything for Harry Potter, miss. Dobby is free because of Harry Potter."

"Your daughter is a witch, Mr Norton."
"A what?"

A perfectly normal girl's world turns upside down when she was informed that she is a witch and she will attend the Wizarding school Hogwarts. 

A story of a muggle-born witch who has to face the problems created by the dark lord and many more unknown dangers.

"How do you like it?" Harry asked and Mia gave a nod before closing the book in her hands.

"It's good. A bit on the boring side and a heavy on the facts but overall the book is rather good." Mia replied "This Hermione girl had really overdone herself with this book. And the whole idea of it is so simple that even now I'm cursing myself for not thinking about writing such a book."

Harry gave the woman a smile but didn't said anymore because her words were the truth.

Just about every Billion dollar company in his past life originated from simple ideas.

Amazon was born from the simple idea of delivering products to people's homes.

KFC, Starbucks, McDonadl's, etc were born from the simple idea of providing food and beverages for people in a comfortable place.

Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc were born from the simple idea of providing better sports gear for the masses.

Facebook was born from the simple idea of connecting friends over the internet.

So frankly, there was nothing spectacular about him opening a company on simple ideas.

Or having Hermione write a book on a simple topic.

But these simple things are what truly change the world if  those ideas are executed properly.

Even now his mind was constantly thinking about what else would he be able to provide people when he gains more employees in his company.

Opening a home delivery branch in his company like Amazon would be ridiculously easy for him.

Especially because the people who would be delivering the orders could simply apparate to the homes of the customers and deliver the order within a few minutes.

Similarly, he could also open a restaurant that could deliver food like this.

The ideas were all there. Now he just needed his company to launch so that they would be able to afford more employees and deliver on those ideas.

And after the company becomes a success, he could always open branches of his company on other Magical communities like the ones in France and Italy.

"Is everything ready?" he asked, trying to hide the excitement from showing on his face.

A few parents had already started to come to Diagon Alley to buy the books and clothes for their magical children.

And tomorrow, they would be launching the company and the shop to the world.

He would be lying if he said that he was not feeling a little bit nervous as well but he knew that his company would succeed.

The advertisement posters had done their job and everyone in the wizarding community now knew about his new company and the products.

"Yes." She replied "And that was the third time you asked me that question. Don't worry. We've handled everything and are ready for whatever the world will throw at use. Just sit on your chair and trust us to do our jobs properly, okay?"

"Okay." He replied and took the book from her before keeping it on top of a pedestal near the entrance of the Mall.

The book will be published tomorrow as well and he and Hermione were rather excited about that as well.

As he left the mall and apparated back to Hogsmeade, he wondered if he'll able to sleep at night with all the excitement that he was feeling.

Ginny entered Diagon Alley and felt her heart skip at the sight of Harry Potter's moving image in a poster floating around in the air above Diagon Alley.

Well, some of those posters also had Albus Dumbledore's moving images but she was too enthralled looking at Harry's face that she didn't even bother with the Dumbledore posters.

It was a surreal feeling for her to witness the image of her first crush being displayed around like this and for a moment she felt jealous because she was not the only girl who would be able to witness this sight.

Oh well, you can't have it all.

She came out of her thoughts regarding the boy hero when Ron came out of the Floo from behind her and they both stumbled onto the ground.

"Ron. What are you doing?" she shouted, coming out of her trance from looking at the Boy-who-lived's image.

She distinctly realized that it was her own fault for not moving away from the Floo's entrance but she would a fool to allow her elder brother to get one over her for that.

"It's not my mistake. You're standing right in front of the entrance." He complained as he stood up and started cleaning himself before his gaze fell on the many posters floating above the street of Diagon Alley.

"Blimy… that's Harry Potter." He said as if it was not the most obvious thing in the world.

Those messy spiky hair. Those mesmerizing green eyes. That focused expression. That lightening scar on the forehead.

Who else could this attractive boy be but the Harry Potter from her dreams. The boy whose story she has been listening to ever since she was a child.

Who boy whom she aspired to marry one day.

Her gaze fell back on Ron who was by now looking at the floating posters with mixed expression of envy and desire.

She knew that Ron was envious of Harry Potter because of his fame and fortune. Well… Ron was usually envious of just about everyone who had something that he didn't.

She sometimes wondered if anyone else in her house even realized how deeply his issues went.

Living in a house with 5 elder brothers who are all very accomplished in something was very hard for him and he had developed an inferiority complex because of it.

Just how living in a house with 6 elder brothers had made her rather tomboyish and headstrong.

But those thoughts were thrown into the back of her mind as she once again fell into a trance at the sight of her crush.

A trance that she only came out of once her whole family arrived.

She was lucky that the elder twins had come in last and had not seen her in that state otherwise they not stop teasing her about it for the rest of the day.

She loved her brothers, she really did but they could get really annoying sometimes. And she would rather not destroy this beautiful moment that meant so much to her.

"Come on now. Don't wait around in front of the Floo. Let other people use it as well. Go on George, Fred. Keep moving." Her mother said as she and the rest of her brothers were herded away into Diagon Alley.

It was not the first time she had visited the magical street as her parents often brought her with them when they went to buy the necessary school supplies for her elder brothers.

But it was the first time when she would get to buy her own school supplies.

It was her first year at school.

And it was also the first year when Harry's posters were seen floating around in Diagon Alley.

It was as if the world was telling her that they were destined to be together.

That this was his way of welcoming her to her first year in Hogwarts.

She distinctly realized that such a thought was rather silly but ignored that thought.

She knew a long time ago that she incapable of forming logical thoughts when it came to Harry Potter, the boy of her dreams. So she stopped trying to do so.

It was such a pity that he was not in Gryffindor like the rest of her brothers.

If he had been and had somehow formed a friendship with Ron then maybe he would have come to join them in the Burrow during the holidays.

She wondered if she should go to Ravenclaw just so she would get more chances to talk with him.

Her line of thoughts was broken as she and her brothers were told to wait outside Gringotts by her mother as her father went in to take out the necessary funds for their school supplies.

She knew that her family was poor and that buying new clothes for her would be rather taxing for her parents. So she would most likely have to make do with second hand girl clothes that are kept in Madam Malkin's shop.

That's how Bill and Charley got their first set of Hogwarts robes as well.

Except that this time, her parents had set aside additional funds in order to buy a Magical Phone that was being sold in the new shop in Diagon Alley that Mrs Diggory was telling her mom about last evening.

It was said to be a whole chain of shop which sold magical things that were never seen before in Diagon Alley.

And the good thing was the all those shops were owned by Harry Potter.

That shop was also the main reason why she and her family had come to Diagon Alley three days ahead of the schedule.

Her mother had feared that the Magical Phones and other contents in that shop will be sold out because of the amount of people visiting that shop and have decided to come to Diagon Alley at an early date.

She tried to look for the new shop from her place and saw the glimpse of a long line of children and adults waiting outside that new shop but the shop itself was hidden from her sight because of the other shops in front of it.

After waiting for about half an hour, her father finally returned from inside the bank and they were finally able to start with their shopping.

In an almost ritualistic manner, her family went from shop to shop just like every last year, buying second handed things for herself and her brothers.

Books, Robes, Cauldrons, quill, etc.

But when they were about to go to the next shop in order to buy a trunk for her, her mother stopped them.

"We'll be checking out the trunk store inside the new shop before we decide to buy anything from here." Her father explained to all of them "I've heard from some of my ministry colleagues that the trunks there are much easier to carry and have more space inside them while having the same price as the ones sold in this shop."

That was all the incentive they needed to join the line that lead to the doors of the new Shop that was simply named 'Magical Goods'.


Author's Note- Sorry if I'm not able to properly demonstrate the story from Ginny's POV. I've never written a POV of a teenage girl with a huge crush before.

The summer went by uneventfully I had prevented and stolen dobby (this right hand of mine gah!) and our own had finally come to deliver us our new school lists For a few minutes there was silence as they all read their letters. It told him to catch the Hogwarts Express as usual from King's Cross station on September first. There was also a list of the new books he'd need for the coming year.

Ryan had already explained that Lockhart was a fraud he had previously bought some books and shown them all the errors in them I mean it says he fought a ghost with a blasting curse? and cured a werewolf with some voodoo. which they have no cures unless it's in my shop so goodluck with that. there was messed up timelines that overlapped and just random bullshit I had compiled a complete list of things and was saving it. I wanted to see how bad this idiot could mess up class and basically it gives me a free study period and I can just let Harry suffer we can do solo practices later I'm planning on teaching them all patronus this year and some of the darker curses like bone breakers and ribbon cutters gotta be one of my favorites each one of the kids had a good standing in hand to hand and could probably take on some adults and their dueling and fighting skills were tons better than all their peers Luna was practically untouchable unless you did something unorthodox Harry was a prodigy in combat with his fast reflexes and quick thinking he gave as good as he got. Daphne was dangerous and methodical with almost surgical precision you slip up once and you are screwed. we had to work a bit on Neville and Hermione. Neville was still working up his courage and getting used to his wand he wasn't allowed to duel until he had it mastered after a while of struggling to force magic out of his own wand a basic stunner now knocked someone out for a good hour if he wasn't carful he was too op. and Hermione just did things by the book which fails miserably. I'm planning on teaching them all some basic wand less and wordless spells mostly summoning and lumos and maybe stunning. the harder the spell is to use the greater the difficulty for wand less Luna is pretty good I've been teaching her since we were kids. tonks was meh she would be great if it wasn't for her tripping over things. anyway it was time for school shopping. They stopped by gringotts then strolled off along the winding, cobbled street. The bag of gold, silver, and bronze jangling cheerfully in everyones pocket was clamoring to be spent, so they bought ice creams, which they slurped happily as they wandered up the alley, examining the fascinating shop windows. Harry gazed longingly at a full set of Seeker robes in the windows of Quality Quidditch Supplies until Hermione dragged them off to buy ink and parchment next door. In Gambol and Japes Wizarding Joke Shop, they met Fred, George, and Lee Jordan, who were stocking up on Dr. Filibuster's Fabulous Wet Start, No Heat Fireworks, and in a tiny junk shop full of broken wands, lopsided brass scales, and old cloaks covered in potion stains they found Percy, deeply immersed in a small and deeply boring book called Prefects Who Gained Power. "A study of Hogwarts prefects and their later careers," Fred read aloud off the back cover. "That sounds fascinating…"
"Go away," Percy snapped.
"'Course, he's very ambitious, Percy, he's got it all planned out… he wants to be Minister of Magic…"  George told them in an undertone as they left Percy to it. An hour later, they headed for Flourish and Blotts. They were by no means the only ones making their way to the bookshop. As they approached it, they saw to their surprise a large crowd jostling outside the doors, trying to get in. The reason for this was proclaimed by a large banner stretched cross the upper windows:

MAGICAL ME
today 12.30—4.30
The crowd seemed to be made up mostly of witches around Mrs. Weasley's age. a milf harem was fed on this day Ryan inwardly thought. A harassed looking wizard stood at the door, saying, "Calmly, please, ladies… Don't push, there… mind the books, now…". A long line wound right to the back of the shop, where Gilderoy Lockhart was signing his books. They each grabbed a copy of The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 2 and sneaked up the line to where the rest of the Weasleys were standing with Dan and Emma Granger. "Oh, there you are, good," said Mrs. Weasley. She sounded breathless and kept patting her hair. "We'll be able to see him in a minute…"
Gilderoy Lockhart came slowly into view, seated at a table surrounded by large pictures of his own face, all winking and flashing dazzlingly white teeth at the crowd. The real Lockhart was wearing robes of forget me not blue that exactly matched his eyes; his pointed wizard's hat was set at a jaunty angle on his wavy hair. No we can't have this now can we Ryan thought. He pulled out one of his signature rock cakes and was just about to yeet it at the man but was stopped by his friends what traitors killing all the fun. He sadly whispered "next time my love." and gently kissed it before returning it back into his inventory for the next opportunity. Harry looked quite amused and the girls looked quite jealous at the rock cake. must be puberty. women are scary. A short, irritable looking man was dancing around taking photographs with a large black camera that emitted puffs of purple smoke with every blinding flash.
"Out of the way, there," he snarled at Harry, moving back to get a better shot. "This is for the Daily Prophet—"
Gilderoy Lockhart heard him. He looked up. He saw Harry. He stared. Then he leapt to his feet and positively shouted, "It can't be Harry Potter?"The crowd parted, whispering excitedly; Lockhart dived forward, seized Harry's arm as his so called friends abandoned him to his fate, and pulled him to the front. The crowd burst into applause. Harry's face burned as Lockhart shook his hand for the photographer, who was clicking away madly, wafting thick smoke over the Weasleys. All of the sudden Ryan did something he always wanted to do. he inhaled a deep breath and at the top of his lungs yelled 2 words that devolved everything into silence. "STRANGER DANGER" he screamed pointing at Gilderoy in fear and yelling "That strange uncle is trying to kidnap that boy quick call the aurors!" Gilderoy had taken critical damage being called both a pedo and a strange uncle he practically was vomiting blood. Harry and the weasley twins lost it. the crowd started yelling and shouting the girls were giggling Mrs . Weasley was giving Ryan a glare. Gilderoy tried to calm the situation down after a quick glance at Ryan."Ladies and gentlemen," he said loudly, waving for quiet. "What an extraordinary moment this is! The perfect moment for me to make a little announcement I've been sitting on for some time!"

"When young Harry here stepped into Flourish and Blotts today, he only wanted to buy my autobiography—which I shall be happy to present him now, free of charge—" The crowd applauded again. "He had no idea," Lockhart continued, giving Harry a little shake as he was still laughing, "that he would shortly be getting much, much more than my book, Magical Me. He and his schoolmates will, in fact, be getting the real magical me. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I have great pleasure and pride in announcing that this September, I will be taking up the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!"The crowd cheered and clapped and Harry found himself being presented with the entire works of Gilderoy Lockhart. Staggering slightly under their weight, he managed to make his way out of the limelight to the edge of the room, where Ginny was standing next to her new cauldron.
"You have these," Harry mumbled to her, tipping the books into the cauldron. "I'll buy my own—" Ryan and Fred were making kissing noises at them. much to their embarrasment. "Bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter?" said a voice Harry had no trouble recognizing. He straightened up and found himself face to face with Draco Malfoy, who was wearing his usual sneer.
"Famous Harry Potter," said Malfoy. "Can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page."
"Leave him alone, he didn't want all that!" said Ginny. She was glaring at Malfoy "Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" drawled Malfoy. Ginny went scarlet as Ryans group had fought their way over, clutching stacks of Lockhart's books.
"Oh, it's you," said Ryan, looking at Malfoy as if he were something unpleasant on the sole of his shoe. "Bet you're surprised to see Harry  with his future wife now you can't try to woo him anymore , eh?" "What do you mean woo him I'm not a poofter," screamed Malfoy. "Could have fooled me slicked back hair that probably takes more time than a woman's hair to do spoiled princess personality constantly followed behind by two big boys."
Malfoy went red.. Ryan dropped his books into the cauldron, too, and started toward Malfoy, but Harry and Hermione grabbed the back of his jacket.
"Ryan!" said Mr. Weasley, struggling over with Fred and George. "What are you doing? It's too crowded in here, let's go outside.""Well, well, well—Arthur Weasley."
It was Mr. Malfoy. He stood with his hand on Draco's shoulder, sneering in just the same way.
"Lucius," said Mr. Weasley, nodding coldly. It's just like the novels insult the little young master and the daddy comes out to play. "Busy time at the Ministry, I hear," said Mr. Malfoy. "All those raids… I hope they're paying you overtime?"
He reached into Ginny's cauldron and extracted, from amid the glossy Lockhart books, a very old, very battered copy of A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration. Even if Ryan had given them vouchers some habits are often kept to save money."Obviously not," Mr. Malfoy said. "Dear me, what's the use of being a disgrace to the name of wizard if they don't even pay you well for it?"
Mr Weasley flushed darker than Ginny.
"We have a very different idea of what disgraces the name of wizard, Malfoy," he said.
"Clearly," said Mr. Malfoy, his pale eyes straying to Mr. and Mrs. Granger, who were watching apprehensively. "The company you keep, Weasley… and I thought your family could sink no lower—" There was a thud of metal as Ginny's cauldron went flying; Mr. Weasley had thrown himself at Mr. Malfoy, knocking him backward into a bookshelf. Dozens of heavy spellbooks came thundering down on all their heads; there was a yell of, "Get him, Dad!" from Fred or George; Mrs. Weasley was shrieking, "No, Arthur, no!"; the crowd stampeded backward, knocking more shelves over;  Ryan had sucker punched malfoy in the face with a satisfying crunch his nose broke it was pandemonium Ryan always wanted to join a good scuffle."Gentlemen, please—please!" cried the assistant, and then, louder than all—
"Break it up, there, gents, break it up—"
Hagrid was wading toward them through the sea of books. In an instant he had pulled Mr. Weasley and Mr. Malfoy apart. Mr. Weasley had a cut lip and Mr. Malfoy had been hit in the eye by an Encyclopedia of Toadstools. He was still holding Ginny's old Transfiguration book. He thrust it at her, his eyes glittering with malice.
"Here, girl—take your book—it's the best your father can give you—" Pulling himself out of Hagrid's grip he beckoned to Draco whose nose was bleeding and swept from the shop.Yeh should've ignored him, Arthur," said Hagrid, almost lifting Mr. Weasley off his feet as he straightened his robes. "Rotten ter the core, the whole family, everyone knows that—no Malfoy's worth listenin' ter—bad blood, that's what it is—come on now—let's get outta here."
The assistant looked as though he wanted to stop them leaving, but he barely came up to Hagrid's waist and seemed to think better of it. They hurried up the street, Mrs. Weasley beside herself with fury. "A fine example to set for your children… brawling in public… what Gilderoy Lockhart must've thought…"
"He was pleased," said Fred. "Didn't you hear him as we were leaving? He was asking that bloke from the Daily Prophet if he'd be able to work the fight into his report—said it was all publicity—" Ryan had sneakily snatched riddles diary from Ginny's cauldron by offering to help carry it for her. it was a subdued group that headed back to the fireside in the Leaky Cauldron, where the group and all their shopping would be traveling back using Floo powder. They said good bye to the Grangers, who were leaving the pub for the Muggle street on the other side; Mr. Weasley started to ask them how bus stops worked, but stopped quickly at the look on Mrs. Weasley's face. Back at home Harry and Ryan were laughing with the girls about malfoy messed up face and the stranger danger prank Ryan had told them every time they see Lockhart  to call him strange uncle and wonder how long it takes for him to break. they all agreed except Hermione who didn't want to do that to a professor.
