Di pagi yang cerah kuterbangun sontak dengan melihat cahaya matahari yang telah memancarkan isi bumi ini, ditemani dengan sarapan pagiku yaitu secangkir teh serta Sandwich yang lezat. Kenalkan aku Lani, tempat tinggalku kali ini di Jakarta sebenarnya aku baru pindah dari Amsterdam karena orangtua ku telah meninggal seminggu yang lalu. Namun aku tetap tegar menghadapinya, sekarang saatnya aku membangun jiwa yang baru dan nuansa yang baru. Burung-burung mengepakkan sayapnya untuk mencari makanan yang ia inginkan, namun Lani bersyukur karena ia bisa makan- makanan yang lezat.
Lani akan bersiap siap ke sekolah barunya yang bernama SMA Garuda Bangsa. Lani menggunakan seragam sekolah, jaket yang modis dan sepatu yang kekinian. Lani sungguh cantik, ketika Lani menapakkan kakinya di sekolah barunya itu Lani sungguh cantik sekali, rambut yang digerai dan Lani pun masuk dari halaman sekolah banyak sekali cowo tertarik dengannya.

Seketika ada yang menghampiri Lani. 

Dengan sangat marah, Lani pun pergi dengan sendirinya tanpa menghiraukan apapun. 
Ia pun berjalan dengan sedikit penuh kemarahan dalam dirinya, ia berkata dalam hatinya "memang dia siapa berani beraninya mengatur diriku."

Lalu ia pun tanpa sadar menabrak seseorang, kemudian, brukkk.... pria itu terjatuh bersamaan dengan puluhan buku yang ia pegang. Lani pun sontak terjatuh juga, tapi kali ini Lani terjatuh dengan posisi tengkurap dan mengenai dada sang pria tersebut. 
Mereka berdua saling bertatapan mata dengan satu sama lain, seperti sebuah ikatan batin muncul dengan sendirinya. 
Beberapa menit kemudian
Lani dan Miko pun pergi ke kelas masing-masing. Miko adalah siswa baru disini, kurang lebih ia baru saja masuk bersekolah di SMA garuda Bangsa seminggu yang lalu, ia memiliki kepribadian yang baik dan pastinya ia sangat ganteng sehingga tak heran Sheila mencoba terus mendekatinya. Sheila dengan temannya itu benar-benar kejam dan jahat siapapun yang menghalangi rencananya untuk mendekati Miko, ia tidak akan segan-segan untuk memberikan pelajaran dengan orang tersebut. 
Miko ini sebenarnya dari dimensi waktu yang lain tujuan dia datang ke Bumi ingin mencari liontin ajaib yang memiliki kekuatan besar, karena ibunya sangat menginginkan liontin tersebut.
Pada suatu hari Lani pun menjauhi Miko karena telah diancam oleh Sheila. Miko yang sedang berada di negeri awan yaitu di mensinya sendiri, karena ibunya memerintahkan Miko untuk cepat-cepat menemukan liontin tersebut. 
Akan tetapi hari demi hari Miko yang dahulunya bermesraan terhadap Lani kian membuat sedih, senyuman dibibirnya telah hilang. 
Pada suatu hari Lani bertemu dengan anak kecil dijalan, Lani pun sempat bertanya kepada anak kecil itu namun ia tidak menanggapi ucapan Lani. 
 Lani sempat terus mengikuti anak kecil itu dan membuat Lani penasaran dengan buku setebal itu yang Lani temukan. Lani pun membuka buku ini dan pada halaman pertama terdapat surat yang berisi petunjuk tentang buku tersebut. Setelah Lani membacanya, sontak Lani kaget dan tidak menyangka kalau buku itu bisa berbicara. Disaat itulah ia pun berbicara dengan buku ini, lalu ia pun menuliskan kisahnya di buku ini. Ketika Lani menuliskan semua kisahnya ia tidak tahu soal kertas petunjuk bagian belakang buku ini, jika ada seseorang yang menuliskan kisahnya disini akan menjadi nyata. Lani pun langsung mencoba menghapus ceritanya itu akan tetapi tidak bisa karena Lani sudah mengakhiri kisahnya sampai tamat dan tak bisa dihapus dengan terpaksa harus mengikuti alur ceritanya itu. 
Ia tidak sadar apa yang ia lakukan akan menjadi kenyataan, Lani pun harus mengikuti alur ceritan yang telah ia buat. Lani mengisahkan tentang dirinya dan Miko, Miko pun harus terlibat juga dalam kisahnya itu. 
Semenjak itulah Lani dan Miko mulai akrab lagi. Disaat Lani merayakan hari ulang tahunnya, liontin tersebut bereaksi dan menyerap ketubuh Lani, namun ibunya Miko cepat-cepat mengambilnya, tetapi ibunya Miko terlambat dan Lani pun tidak bisa mengendalikan kekuatan besar itu.

Siobhan went to the romance book section that was what she was in the mood for at that particular point in time she sat on the plushy looking couch then started the book. It was a Harlequin classic romance novel. Once Siobhan got to the middle of the book she started scrunching up her face in disgust at how cliché the book was "what the hell" she whispered "this guy is starting to get predictable" she added
She finished her book and realized that romance books weren't what she thought it would be she actually preferred it to the adventure books she had been reading lately she took another Harlequin book from the shelf and started reading that.
At around five in the evening, she had only gone out of the library once and that was to get water apart from that she stayed in the comfort of the soft couch she was on reading five different Harlequin and getting those imaginary butterflies and the queasy feeling everyone gets when they actually read the sex scenes in the romance novels. Her stomach rumbled lowly "not now" it rumbled louder and she groaned it was probably time for her to cook lunch she was sure that Tyler was hungry as well. She typed on her birthday on the keypad then it opened automatically.
"Hey Tyler"
"Yes"
"Are you hungry?"
"I already ate I ordered Chinese takeout I left some for you in the kitchen"
"Thanks, Barbie bug," she said as soon as she noticed he was wearing his glasses
"No problem psycho ban"
She scowled at him and walked out of the office.
After her meal, she went back to the library to continue reading the book she had already begun. By the time she got to her seventh book her eyes were pounding in their sockets begging to be let out and she was feeling strangely aroused. Siobhan turned off the light in the library then walked out to Tyler"s room. He was sleeping, she admired him for a while then he groaned "you either come in or you get out you are disturbing me"
"Oh sorry" she hurriedly closed the door turned on the light then rushed to his bed under the blanket with him
"Why do you have to turn on the lights?" he mumbled then buried his head under the blankets
"It"s dark in here" she snuggled against him
"Are you alright"
"Just a little queasy that's all"

"Only six or seven I honestly don't know"

"What Happened?"
"He almost raped me he waited till it was dark out and he pressed a knife to my neck here" she raised up her chin and he saw a faint scar across her neck

"I didn't know my mom came to check on me every night because as you know I sleep pretty quickly she walked into my room and saw Carlos almost about to kill me out of fear and surprise he mistakenly pressed the knife a little bit too far and almost killed me but obviously I didn't die I lost a lot of blood and forgot who I was for almost three months" a tear slipped her eyes. Tyler wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug so she could cry and he would feel the tears
"That"s not something I would laugh about" he kissed her forehead
"He is in maximum security jail now probably dead now but I know I"m not safe he has fought off multiple kidnappers rapists and thugs for me so he can escape any time has before and can still do it again"
"That is horrible"
"So I can"t stay in the darkness. That time you locked me out of the house that was something I would never forget you put me in a critical position"
"I"m sorry I didn't know I would personally see to it that he pays dearly for what he did to my beautiful Mary"

It was Thursday morning, as expected the Porters' driver came to pick Gracie. She ran from her front door to meet the car outside the garden with her skirt flying high but her panty was not revealing.
"Hey." She greeted Jenny who was with her in the backseat as she panted and jammed the door.

The driver ignited the engine to life as he gently handled the sterling, minding his business as always.
The beginning of their journey was silent as Gracie silently appreciated that she didn't have to run for bus. Then Jenny dropped the bomb, "what's going on 'tween you and Nicholas Walsh?"
"What?" Raw panic was in her voice as she tried to crack.
Jenny lowered her phone which Barbie pink pouch was new to Gracie, even with the way she slanted her back on the door, a side of her blue eyes still glared at Gracie's frame.
"I saw the both of you.... Coming out of the janitor's closet."
Gracie sat up, putting her legs on top of each other right on the seat next to Jenny's Oxford booth and pink socks. She sweated with dread. Jenny found out about her talking to Nicholas and look on her face told a lot about what she might be feeling. Unhappy probably because she was warned.
"Um, he's my partner for the history assignment... I didn't want it, I mean no one was willing to be my partner." She explained, displaying with her hands as she whisked with her shoulder.
"I don't have a partner." Jenny was way too cool to be real, with her relaxation level and soft voice. For a minute one would assume she got no interest but she was dead serious, something most people got confused about her.
"You have Sheila."
"Sheila can't be my partner, we share same history." Jenny pointed out.
"Wow, I didn't know about that, when Tori told she had a partner, Pete and you and Sheila are twins, perfect for the work– you're not going tell Tori about this right?" Gracie panicked.
Jenny was wearing a straight look when she suddenly bursted into laughter.
Gracie's eyes roamed in flummoxed. "What's funny?"
"Because she's gonna find out, she's your best friend." Jenny said
"Do you tell Sheila everything?"
"Almost..." Jenny seemed to be lost as she stared wistfully passed.
"I'm gonna stop talking to him after the assignment."
Jenny locked eyes with her, "sometimes, you just need to be careful of the sloppy floor. He's charming, handsome, rich, everything a girl desires in a boy but you should keep in mind the danger of his company. Neiva was just like you... Innocent, smart and hardworking. She didn't see it coming." Jenny was in bitter when she advised Gracie.
"Tell me about Neiva." Gracie requested.
Jenny had paused for a long time before she began to talk, "she was Sheila's best friend, always with us and she was really cool. Sometimes she's silly, playing meme's face..." As Jenny rode on, Gracie pondered on how come she never know of Neiva until now.

Slowly he dropped the book between them and spoke, "we should be friends." 
"What?" She cracked. 
From the stern on his face, she confirmed he was for real. 
"Your friends know much about you than an outcast, outcast judge you from outside not from the inside. They won't see who you really are." 
"Oh." She said, shortly.
"You don't know that?" He sounded surprise.
"That's why everyone is judgie about you. I don't want to judge you, I want to support you... That's why we should be friend." He added.

Strangers judge.
Friends support.
Tori might not always be there when she had issues weeks ago but she had support her. 
Friends also help you abstain from danger like how Tori had warned her to stay away from the DEN. 
"Friends?" Gracie repeated as a question.

"I'll walk you home." He offered and she did want to say no because she longed for it. 
"Okay." She briefed and hopped, heading back to her duty post as she dusted nothing from her butt. The diner black uniform was short and pleat.
"So, we're friends?" He snapped.
"Yes." She was to fast as she ran back, acting like people in the restaurant didn't see her. 
She swore to see some junior girls from her school, ogling at her weirdly, even Chloe was giving the teasing glare but she wouldn't talk. 
A smile reached her ears as she bit her lips softly. 
Maybe they can cope as friends, maybe it would be nice. 
She glanced aside to his way, his romance novel with the picture of a beautiful long black hair woman in blue ball gown and a boy whose lips were on her neck. It was historical and she read the title from afar as 'The forbidden love'
