I was called a racist terrorist today, because of me refusing to give my seat to an African woman. Why? Well, I was carrying a couple of KG of hardball equipment. The bus was mostly empty except for my friends and I sitting in the back with a bunch of bags filled with weapons and equipment for hardball.

Her argument for the entire group moving for her sake was "I am used to sitting in your seat" and she started making a scene the moment I said no to moving. That psycho even tried to pull me out of my seat and started yelling assault when my rifle (concealed in the bag) poked her (To her defence, idk how hard she was hit with that thing, but it can hurt a lot). Friends to the rescue and they separated her from me. The bus driver then opened the back doors at the next stop and told us to throw her out because she was giving him a headache and was endangering all the passenger's XD

Kyosei is in a bit of trouble getting the weapon since the undead wearing the football uniform is standing near the entrance. Approaching carelessly will only lead to trouble and puting the former football captain down to its final rest is much more difficult. The helmet of the football undead is still in its top shape and only specks of blood is visible on it's surface. Kyosei will have a very bad time beating this guy up especially that he didn't possess a smelee weapon. His house keys are much more difficult to use in this situation because he need to remove the helmet before giving this guy a proper beating but it also increases the chances of getting bitten by the guy. He is trying to avoid that from happening since he watched movies of zombie apocalypse and usually, it all ends with a bite.

He also tried to think a good solution to get a weapon in the shed. Using the revolver will not guarantee him killing this guy and might even cause the dead to beattracted to the noise and might tear him to shreds so easily. Using the grenade is also a wasteful tactic due to the limited supply and he can guarantee that the dead will flock the explosion site. The other one is much easier, which he needs to distract the dead by sounds and attract it to that direction. After thinking for a while, he decided to use the latter technique as it is more practical and much easier and much more resourceful than the former choices he thought. Revealing himself from his hiding spot, he snaps and breaks the neck of the undead nearby silently and he slowly creep towards the football captain but he kept his distance. He looks a round and whe he is sure that only the football undead is nearby, he picks up a stone and throws it to the nearby metal sheet scattered in the ground which caught the attention of the football captain and some nearby undead and they slowly flock the sound.

Successful from his  attempt, Kyosei creeps faster towards the  sport shed and goes inside. He quicly scans the shed very fast to avoid the dead finding him in case they wander again. As he scans the place, he spotted the baseball used by Miyuki whenever she plays hardball. He didn't think twice and picks it up without much hesitation and goes outside the shed. As he goes out, the dead already dispersed from the sound Kyosei made earlier and wanders around. Kyosei immediately detours towards the school. As he run , the dead immediately detected him and they started snarling as they dashed forward to quickly reach him. Kyosei is not interested being eaten by them so before they could even touch and eat him, Kyosei gets inside the school building and swings the bat to the nearest pursuer. He put his energy on the baseball bat and swung it on the undead's head that causes it from destroying its face due to the strong swing he did to the dead. Kyosei repeated this and in a few more time, he spotted the football captain charging him, he can't help but frown. Football is not his thing and he don't really like to play it and now he is getting chased by it's own leader.  Well to be exact... its their undead look. Though not ready to beat this guy, Kyosei held his baseball bat and the dead slowly approaches.

As he saw the dead reaching his range. Kyosei immediately  swings the baseball bat hard that it causes the dead  football player to be dead yet again. The helmet got some damage as it deform the surface of it however it is not enough and it only stagger the football player a bit. Kyosei already knows that this guy won't go down that easily. He swings the bat again before the dead can recover. This time around, the impact of the helmet is enough to remove the helmet. Kyosei calmly swings the bat again, this time, the impact of the swing hits the bare head of this guy which is enough to deal a huge amount of blunt damage. The head deformed in a nasty way, eyeballs removed from their sockets, and reddish-black blood flows out.

Kyosei did not waste much time and picks up a stone and throws it on an intact window of the school and breaks it and the sound of breaking glass echoes in the area. The dead growls and hastily proceeds to the area where the window is broken. Kyosei on the other hand climbs up on the window that he broke and dashed out on the hallway to avoid a horde which are bound to reach the area in a few seconds.

Kirishima High School -Ground Floor: East Wing Corridor

In the east wing, the chemistry lab, the home economics room, music room, kitchen area and some of the club rooms. Kyosei is crouching whenever he passes a window of a room to avoid unnecessary detection of the dead. His stealth is top class and no one can sense him traversing an area full of obstacles and he has a very small chance of being detected. He mastered the stealth ability of his during chase events of his enemies when he is still a delinquent. When gangsters seeks out to beat the crap out of him, Kyosei is creeping out and looking out for an exit. During this time, Kyosei didn't expect that his skill on stealth is going to help him during the apocalypse.

He gets inside the chemistry lab and he only saw blood and some guts hanging on the tables. Some of the apparatus of the lab are broken and shards of broken glass are scattered on the floor. Kyosei slowly stepson the floor avoiding the sound of the shards to make a noise. Stepping on the shards, it slowly break into pieces again as his shoes steps on them. Kyosei is listening to the place and he slowly close the door of the lab slowly.

As he slowly sneak inside, he heard a sound of someone chewing and moaning inside. Kyosei can identify that it is an enemy eating its unlucky prey. He didn't dawdle anymore and he slowly venture the way to the predator. He saw a woman in a lab gown crouching on a dead body and this woman is not the one moaning but the dead body. The woman is busy pulling out the intestine of the dead body. Kyosei didn't think much of her and thought that she is one of "them" and slowly hold her head to snap it but he didn't expect the woman to retaliate. The woman is swift and locks his hands holding her head with a bloody hands wearing gloves and with a sudden twist, Kyosei felt that his arm hurts. The woman struck her with a nearby test tube rack and Kyosei's forehead bleeds.Kyosei backs away using brute force to escape the lock of the woman and successfully break free.

"Not bad, boy," the woman in the lab gown flicks the bloody test tube rack and put it on the table.

Kyosei remains his poker face even though he saw that the woman he tries to kill is still alive. Based on her uniform and the year level emblazoned on her uniform collar, she is a Senior.

"Oh, you are Kyosei Ichinose right? I didn't expect you to be alive! I thought you already fell and became one of the " undead"!" The woman chuckles.

Kyosei slowly stands up and wipes the blood on his hands due to the bloody gloves of the woman and he also wipe his blood on his forehead but it is flowing down slowly. Kyosei didn't feel any pain since he is already used to any kind of pain that he developed a natural resistance to pain. He didn't speak at all and instead, he approach the undead wriggling on the floor. He only discovers that this guy is attached on the floor with adhesive tape. Even its head is attached on the floor with adhesive tape and it is struggling to  escape. Its a bit unnatural to look since the guy's guts is dangling outside of its stomach. The heart, lungs stomach and other parts of the guts is piled near him. Despite that, this guy is still moving and it is struggling to escape. The woman scratches her head as she noticed Kyosei observing the dead.

"Wah, its a lot of pain to gut him out alive you know? Ryuto is very stubborn even when he became a dead person.  Even his guts and intestines are removed inside him, this guy is still moving and tries to bite me every chance he gets! That's why I smashed his mouth with hammer and destroyed all his teeth," the woman rumbles on and on.

Kyosei looks at her and the dead person. Looks like the apocalypse happening is the same as the apocalypse he usually see in movies and games. The dead person will keep on moving even when all of its parts that makes it alive when it was still a person is removed. Unless the head is destroyed, the dead will continue to move.

The woman is now relaxed and removed the lab gown she is wearing.

"I haven't introduced my name yet, I'm Chie Motsuki, aspiring doctor and scientist! What are you doing here Kyosei?" the woman named Chie leans on the table.

Kyosei looks at her and he looks again on the dead person that is still struggling to get off.

"To find someone," Kyosei pulls out his phone and open the message Miyuki sends him.

"Oh? That will be hard since the school is struck real hard and most of the students here are killed by the dead that gets inside accidentally," the woman shrugged.

Kyosei didn't like what she said and pulls out the revolver and points the muzzle on Chie. Chie pales out seeing the gun.

"Woah, woah, chill bro, I only said that it will get hard to find that someone you are looking for. I didn't said that the person you are looking for is already a walking dead!" Chie raises both of her hands in the air. Who won't be afraid of guns especially if it is loaded and aimed at you!

Kyosei sighed and slowly retracts the gun back to the holster. Chie sighed in relief.

"Woah, I thought I will die today, I'm still a virgin and I wanted to be laid down before I die!" Chie shrugged and sighed in relief.

Kyosei is surprised but he didn't care what Chie wanted. He sighed and looks on his phone and tries to dial the Miyuki's number. Unfortunately,

"The line is experiencing a heavy traffic and cannot process your request, please try again later."

Kyosei looks at the signal and it still shows a full bar signal. Kyosei understands it since the apocalypse is just beginning and people are trying to dial people on phones. He sighed and ended the repeating voice of the operator in his phone and looks on the Voice mail inbox. There, he saw a new message from Miyuki. He selected it and play the mail.

"Hello! Kyosei if you are listening to this please help me!" the voice mail begins. Kyosei listened to the voice of Miyuki. It is clear on Miyuki's voice that she is scared. The voice mail continues to play.

"The school is getting dangerous! Aahh! What was that?.....
(Voices of screaming and terrified students)


Anyway! Please I know you survive the chaos since you are outside the school but I hope nothing bad happened to you! I overheard Kaze's plan earlier that he plan to abduct some of our pretty classmates! I need to stop that guy from getting advantage  on this place since we are close, but if I can't give him any sense in his head, please help! I will wait for you!"

The voice mail ends. Kyosei felt a bit angry hearing the plan of Kaze but he felt a bit annoyed on Miyuki's plan. It feels like she is throwing herself to danger. Chie drink a mineral water from her backpack that is resting on a table with apparatus. Kyosei look at this nonchalant woman and sighed.

"Stay here, woman, its much dangerous outside," Kyosei put the duffle bag on the table. 

"Oh, don't worry, I can handle myself alright," Chie shrugged.
Kyosei nodded. She really have skills and he knows that she can handle herself quite well. Chie is curious and looks inside the bag.

"
"Holy Sh*t! Bunch of wakabombs! What the hell? You will be arrested by the police!!" Chie said trembling in excitement.

Kyosei looks at her again with a poker face and opens the door.

"There are no more laws now. We are basically on our own," Kyosei equipped his house keys and baseball bat and closes the door of the chemistry lab.

Labeled as a delinquent and bad influence, high school student Kyosei Ichinose choose to stay out of the people around him, indulge himself to his headphones, pick fights against other people and stay alone. 

He was later famous for being a dangerous fellow that even his fellow students and his teachers feared him.

One day, everything is normal until the world is now in turmoil after the appearance of a mysterious disease that turns humans into mindless cannibals, infecting humans all around the country in an alarming state.

After receiving a distressed message from his former friend, he reluctantly returned only to find the school overrun by the dead. Armed with his house keys, a revolver and a duffel bag containing a few items to aid the rescue, he returned to the school without knowing why he still need to rescue a former friend.

Bram stood up with anger written all over his face, but Bazuul beckoned with his hand and proceeded to say, 
"Is that so, I wonder what uncle is talking about?" with a childish face.

Aran seemed perplexed looking at this innocent face if he weren't a guest at one of those parties he'd almost believe this act.

"Prince please do not make this…"

"I thought I told you, what debts are you talking about? Do. Tell!" Bazuul interrupted in a slightly darker but coquettish tone.

Aran smile froze, usually, he would have wiped the floor with whoever would be in front of him, except for a high profile noble. So, he laid out all his debts for the services provided plus interest and some shady agreements made beforehand.

"Outrages! How dare you assume our young prince would succumb to such profanity!" Bram instantly roared.

Whilst nodding Bazuul said:
"I really don't seem to remember doing those things uncle said."

In truth, the debt wasn't really that much, for a prince that is. In reality Bazuul knew full well that the previous him did agree to all these things, but, first of all, he wasn't going uphold to such disgusting agreements. Second, he meant to find an opportunity to make a name for himself, and third, he realized the movement in the tavern some time ago, as if they wanted to play hardball with him. Well fine, an opportunity presented, hardball it is.

"But I'd sure like to tell that flowers guy that he can forget about whatever debts he is dreaming about face to face if it isn't too much trouble uncle" He added with a switch in his tone and a wink while looking Aran in the eyes.

"Flowers guy?!" He thought in shock. It seemed the prince had gotten an upgrade in arrogance recently.

Aran was about to burst but there was a flicker in the young prince's eyes that left a piercing sensation in his own eyes which stopped him for a moment. After centering himself he attempted to roar once again but realized that the prince and his entourage had already stood up and were about to walk out of the tavern.

Meanwhile, Bazuul silently warned Bram to stay alert and get ready.

"Hold! Stop the prince you fools!" Aran finally roared as his little grey goatee trembled along with his body.
"You think you can ignore ME brat? A good-for-nothing wastling prince that still reeks of his mother's milk, dares to ignore me?!" He yelled once again whilst seething in anger.

Bazuul and his entourage made it just to the door as the other party started to show it's true face. His guards, of course, were a bit shocked but immediately blocked the way to the prince for the incoming thugs.

"Bye bye uncle, I'm sure we'll meet again~," Bazuul said once again in a childish tone and proceeded to run out of the tavern along with Bram. Leaving the two guards to handle the rest.

To make sure they weren't followed they kept zigzagging through the eastern city until Bram's old bones needed some rest. Bazuul was quite content - even though he wasn't aware how - the light in him simple took the answers he needed from Aran's mind. Also, he finally had lost his father's eyes and ears. Equipped with a broad inside knowledge of the eastern city's workings he started to evaluate and prioritize which locations were needed for him in order to make the biggest impact, places that were interesting and locations important to the flowers guy.

Even though he knew where he was located, he intended to poke him a bit at first and lure him out before destroying him in front of some witnesses.

But first, he wanted to visit two other places. One was a shop belonging to the royal court and a place called The White Crane Pavilion. Apparently, there was a person Aran called old man Fu and the fear he felt towards this old man...was deep. Which intrigued Bazuul on the other hand.

Luckily both the shop and the pavilion were close to each other and Aran would certainly come to the conclusion that he would go to the shop belonging to the royal court, thus most likely placing men around the shop. 

Still intrigued, he made way to the old man.

After he eventually reached the pavilion and entered through its gates, a vastly different sight to the city unveiled in front of him. This place was lush in fauna and flora, with beautiful man-made streams of sky-blue water that flowed naturally. The air was so fresh that it truly made one wonder for a moment if you really were in the capital city of an empire.

The empty field in front of Bazuul made him feel like he was in a mystical Asian place with high feng shui, like in those old martial arts movies he's often seen back on Earth. His body and mind relaxed instinctively, he could even feel his organs relax, every fiber in his body as his mind drifted into the deep.

"Aaah, the one that opened the door." Sighed a voice that came from somewhere in his vicinity. After closer inspection, he eventually slightly made out frames of a silhouette sitting in the shades of a tree.

Bazuul started to walk towards that individual. As he closed in, the figure of a bald man with a long white beard - like those sages in those aforementioned movies - unveiled in front of him. Yet his skin, well...it was more so like a young man on the verge of becoming a middle-aged man, and nothing like an old man. Then again, his "father" wasn't that much different.

 "I hope you can understand that what you are about to face is something with considerable risk. Behind this door is a forbidden domain out of reach for mortals. At the same time, this is also the achievement that is solely credited to you, isn't it?" He chuckled and opened his eyes, giving the young prince a meaningful glance which the latter wasn't sure if it contained pity or ridicule. Or even both.

Bazuul didn't show any reaction on the outside but felt puzzled by the words. He did not answer, he just sat down in front of this "old man". After a while, they started conversing. Hours later, the sun slowly started to show its last light of the day, Bram had fallen asleep quite a while ago, yet was still sitting by the side as if silently waiting. Long Fu laughed out loud in a manner not befitting his posture nor speech.

"If you are prepared to take the risk, then take this manual, it is just a basic training sequence to strengthen your body, but I guess it shall be enough." Fu similarly glanced at Bazuul again directing his hand towards a room of the bamboo mansion.

Bazuul simply nodded and went there to ingrain this sequence into his body.

First, he read through the manual a couple of times, then started each sequence separately, learning its right form, posture, and movement. After one set he sat down and visualized the sequences. Then he repeated everything. What a basic body tempering manual could do to the vessel of darkness and light. Who would know the difference?

Soon the sun greeted the day again. Contend with his nightly achievements he stood up and walked out.

Fu still meditated beneath the tree, Bram also...meditated. So much so that he became one with the elements, to be precise, the morning dew.

After waking Bram up and drying himself, they said their goodbyes to old man Fu and made way to the royal shop.

It was still early in the morning and the streets weren't fully lightened yet when Aran's appointed henchman in front of the royal shop made out two silhouettes walking towards them. One was small and the other was taller but a bit more hunched over, probably an elder. Which fitted the description of the prince and his servant perfectly. Not yet sure if these were the targets they waited for.

Such are the descriptions given if one asked about a certain young man, but he couldn't care less.

All that mattered to him was his mission, vengeance. Nothing could stop him in his tracks until one day his parents died. Though even that lasted only until the emptiness overcame him once again.

With his protest ignored he was swiftly dropped into the body of a recently deceased prince. Plunged into the seat of a kingdom, overflowing with intrigue and schemes. In a world, as our “prince” will soon learn, vastly different from Earth.

Now known as the fourth prince of Ralun, Bazuul Ylvazad, he has to adjust and learn at a rapid pace if he wanted to survive. Something he himself wasn’t quite sure of.

Chen Baichuan bellowed furiously, "I, Chen Baichuan, only have this one daughter. In the future, my family business will be handed over to her. It's not your place to badmouth her." 
The first aunt's face changed when she heard these words. Is the well-tried family card no longer of use?
In the past, as long as she brought up anecdotes from their childhood, her brother would give her some face. However, that did not seem to have any effect at all today.
No matter how good a family's bond might be, if one kept making trouble without any reason, it would eventually die out. 
The first aunt saw that Chen Baichuan was starting to get irritated, setting off the warning alarms in her heart. She was about to continue her reprimand when someone behind her could not hold it in anymore.

Everyone was fighting to "protect their family's property".
"You have to compensate us! This morning, your family's wretch instigated my grandson to go to the mall, causing him to damage the Lego in one of the stores. I had to pay them 5000 dollars, but you didn't stop at just that. At night, you even tied up my son-in-law. If you don't sort this out, we will—"
"What will you do?" Qianmo spared some time to look at her father, who was becoming increasingly red with rage.
"Well…" The first aunt was suddenly at a loss for words, but the people next to her hurriedly continued, "First, we will sue your dad for bigamy. Then, we will sue all of you for intentionally causing harm, and also for illegal imprisonment!" 
The person who opened his mouth this time had some general knowledge of the law. The first aunt was like an amazing sidekick and kept nodding in agreement.
Heh, the garage belongs to her family. They must be compensated!

Both Qianmo and Black understood that Chen Baichuan's silence was the quiet before the storm. Hence, they kept mum, just waiting for him to explode. The house was soundless for a few seconds, but First Aunt and the others thought that Chen Baichuan was terrified. A pleased expression appeared on their faces at the same time.
Seeing that the atmosphere was so stiff, another person next to the first aunt changed the topic and pretended to be the good person.
"Of course, we're not taking it for free. We're all relatives, after all. Rather than blow things out of proportion, it's better to keep things simple and small. How about this, let's take it that we're buying the garage from you.

As he said this, he pulled out a contract from his bag. Seems like they are well-prepared.
Twenty thousand. Chen Baichuan was enraged.
His garage was located in the best area of the city center. It was built earlier on, the original cost amounting to 20,000, but now with inflation, even without demolishing, the annual rent of a warehouse at that location would be more than 20,000.

Chen Baichuan flexed his arm as he verbally retaliated against them. "What's this? You plan to beat me up?" 
By this point, after how the situation had unfolded, there was no more leeway left. Yu Changmo felt that it was about time to end things. Finally, he stepped forward and grabbed the collar of the person who had shoved Chen Baichuan. 
"Uncle, step back. I'll handle this."
Chen Baichuan was not quite willing to accept that he was old. However, Qianmo pulled him with her and retreated to the back. She had already seen Black's skills… Well, she had not had her fill of it; he was seriously hot.
"Want to play hardball?" The moment Yu Changmo finished speaking, before the other party could see clearly what was happening, he had already lifted the rogue, whose collar he had grabbed, and sent him flying into the air. 
With a crash, the rogue landed on the floor next to the door. Right after that, he grabbed another scoundrel, who tried to retaliate, but Black gave him no chance. In the same way he did with the previous punching bag, Black kicked him and sent him flying.
"We will definitely take back the garage. If you have the ability, go ahead and sue. We'll see who will win the lawsuit."
Flexing his wrist as he spoke, he decided to fight first before reasoning with them.
The first aunt and the others were able to get by in minor fights and arguments. However, they had never been in such a situation with real kung fu before and were momentarily stunned.
Relying on her thick skin that came with age, First Aunt mustered up her courage and stammered at Black, who was moving closer. "Y-y-you dare to beat me?"

As soon as Jack woke up he couldn't move. Clutching his head and moaning around everywhere all he could remember was driving out the club late at night. When he was crossing the bridge he saw a truck and swerved to the right which lead him falling into the river. As all these memories rushed through his head, new ones appeared.

As he went through searching for his memories all he could see was his predecessor self getting bullied for being so weak. jack couldn't believe it, his predecessor self was pushed by someone and fell off a cliff chocking on the apple all the way till he hit the bottom.

While processing all these memories he found himself in the forest surrounded by thick bushes and trees. As Jack stood up and stepped on a large vine. That was until he looked down.

'FUCK"

And jack ran as for where he was going he didn't care as long as he got away from that giant snake. In his past life, Jack was always scared of snakes and would always run no matter. As he kept running he suddenly found himself at the docks.

"Ah, look whos back"

As Jack was using the memories of the original to guide himself back to his dorm. He could hear people saying all types of things about him. Most of them kept mentioning Komi who was his predecessor bully who would never leave him alone.

When Jack arrived at his dorm he found the door damaged and his room trashed anything that might have looked have once looked valuable was gone all that was left was. his bed stand which had no mattress or pillow.

'You might as well as just burned down the whole room assholes, just wait I'll get you all back.'

While clenching his fist into a hardball, Jack started cleaning up the mess in his room. Until all that was left was his broken door. As Jack sat down he starting thinking of all that happened so far and he could. He had forgotten one important thing this whole time and that's where he was. He was now in the world of one piece, A place where power determines most things, a place where it doesn't matter where your from as long as you had power and authority.

Jack couldn't help but get a bit excited thinking of all the things that he could do. All the adventures he could go on, all the girls he could meet.

As all these thoughts went through his head he heard a sound, and his whole body started to throb as if his soul was leaving his body.

She peeled an orange for herself and continued to eat until his breath no longer lingered in her mouth.
The color of the sky outside the hospital ward gradually darkened as time passed, and just when Changqing's eyes were on the verge of turning teary as a result of surfing social media for a long period of time, a series of footsteps resounded from outside the ward.
She lifted her head and discovered Song Chuyi coming into the ward. He was holding a pale yellow lunch box in his hand.
"I managed to get some rice for you from the canteen. Help yourself to some for now."
Changqing was still upset about the incident that happened a while ago. Thus, she turned her body away from him and faced another direction.
"Why's the young lady so playful?" Song Chuyi thought to himself when he saw she was upset.
Faced with this predicament, Song Chuyi had no choice but to utilize his skills of coaxing children at the hospital on her. "I'll take you out for supper later if you eat some rice now, okay?"
"Who would ever want to have supper with you?" Changqing snorted violently through her nose.
Discerning from her response that the kid gloves treatment wasn't going to work on her, Dr. Song had no choice but to play hardball and be uncompromising towards her. "So, judging from the way you're acting now, are you implying that you'll only listen to me if I repeat the things that I did to you when we were in the office, here in this ward?"
"You… baddie!" Changqing exclaimed as she finally stared him directly in the eyes. 
She couldn't do anything about Song Chuyi, so she snatched the lunch box from his hands and opened it, revealing the contents of the box—spare ribs with green pepper inside. While eating the meal, she kept on complaining that the food tasted bad. "Yesterday, you promised me that you'd cook my favorite dishes, but I see now that you're someone who can't keep a promise. The least you could do is get me food from a five-star hotel. This is just half-hearted; you're basically mistreating me!" 
Song Chuyi put his hand to his forehead. He had an increasingly strong feeling that he had gotten himself a daughter who constantly needed to be taken care of. "The cooking oil used in the hotels is unsanitary. Although the canteen food tastes mediocre, it's very sanitary." 
"That's why people often have the notion that doctors are so troublesome. You doctors are endlessly worrying about hygiene all day long. You should learn from my sister. She's a doctor too, but her life motto is that as long as the food tastes good to her, all is fine." Changqing tried to correct his viewpoint about hygiene in a serious tone. 
"Right, and that's why she's your sister," Song Chuyi said with resignation. "I'm heading off now. I still have things to do. Oh, by the way, remember to press the bell when the patient wakes up. I'll be coming over again when she wakes up so let's go home together afterwards." 
After he finished telling Changqing about the things to note, he left the ward.
Shen Lu woke up sometime after Changqing had eaten her fill.
When Changqing noticed Shen Lu was waking up, she immediately pressed the bell. A nurse arrived to their side first, followed by Song Chuyi five minutes later.
Song Chuyi conducted another series of tests on Shen Lu before finally pulling out the tracheostomy tube attached to her windpipe.
Shen Lu said feebly, "Dr. Song, thank you so much."
"You can thank me again after your condition successfully stabilizes in the next three days," Song Chuyi said before continuing to instruct her: "You must immediately notify the medical staff if you experience any discomfort in any parts of your body in the next few days. Although the surgery was a success, postoperative complications are common in some patients after their surgery."
"Okay," Shen Lu replied to Song Chuyi. Following that, she turned her gaze to Changqing and said, "Child, you really came to visit me as I told you."
"Of course! I always did what you told me when I was a child!" Changqing said with a smile.
Shen Lu showed a faint smile but subsequently sighed, "Before the surgery this morning, I was thinking that if the surgery failed, my sole regret would be that I wouldn't be able to witness Fu Yu's marriage ceremony. It would be great if you could be my daughter-in-law. Didn't you love to follow Fu Yu and go around declaring loudly that you would marry your brother Fu Yu when you were little?"
Changqing stopped paying attention to Shen Lu in the middle of the conversation. All her attention was spent observing Song Chuyi's changing face. His current face looked much uglier than before.
Is he going to teach me a lesson by grabbing me and kissing me forcefully again? Changqing conceived the possibility.

Daisy lowered the car window to let the stench of alcohol out. Drunken people could really stink up a car. A breeze blew softly, wafting the smell away. And she was very curious about her passenger. She thought, ' If I'm right, this must be the third time I've seen her!   

 The first time, I almost ran her over; then, I saw her wandering lonely on the street. Now I'm picking her up. Every time I see her, she looks sad. She must have quite a story to tell.'    Daisy was driving carefully and smoothly. Then she felt the pain in her arm. She frowned and pondered, 'Is it worse than I thought?'    She then cast a glance at the wound which she bandaged in haste, and found that blood was beginning to flow past the rags. She hoped that the wound would not be so serious as to affect her performance in the military exercise.    

As the car entered the villa, Luke came to meet her before the car stopped.   

 "Mrs. Mu, what happened? You're hurt!" he screamed when he saw Daisy's bleeding arm. 'How did that happen so quickly? She's in the military and skilled in the martial arts. Was she hurt by someone really dangerous?' thought Luke.    

"Well! Nothing. It's not serious. Now help me get her out of the car." said Daisy casually. She was not worried about the wound now and she went to open the car door.    

"It's her!" said Luke. He was shocked when he saw the woman on the car seat and wondered why she was in Daisy's car.   

"What's up? You know her?" asked Daisy eagerly. She wanted to figure out who the woman was at least.

"Yes! If I'm right, it's Annie from the C Financial Group. But I don't know why she's here in the city." replied Luke. Luke had orders from Edward to ask around about a kidnapped woman. But Edward hadn't mentioned that the woman was Annie. He had no idea she was here.    

"Eh? Isn't the C Financial Group in this city?" asked Daisy. She had never paid attention to any financial reports other than those concerned with Edward. So it's normal she didn't know where the C Group was located.    

"No! It is a large listed company abroad and has existed for a long time. We have some business dealings with it. Annie seems to be involved with Rain." replied Luke. Being reticent, Luke had never uttered many words with others -- except Edward. Now he told everything he knew to Daisy. Maybe it was because she was Daisy, not other people.    

Well! Looks like I accidentally saved the right person." Daisy joked. Luke took Annie out of the car and Daisy closed the door. As she turned around, she saw a raging Edward.    

"Honey, eh... I'm back." smiled Daisy fawningly. She hid her wounded arm behind her and thought, 'Oh my God. I promised that I wouldn't get hurt before I left home. Now I have blood all over my arm. I broke my promise.'    

"Damn it. Daisy. Tell me what happened. Now!" shouted Edward. He strode toward her and grasped her wrist. When he saw the bleeding wound, his heart hurt.    

Is that the promise you gave me? Hum!" asked Edward. And he regretted it, 'I should have been with her. But I didn't. Because I thought it was a phone call from work. And I promised that I won't get in the way of her work.' He had been playing cards with his friends and ran out to meet Daisy as soon as the car rolled up.   

 He felt relieved when he saw her getting out of the car, but shocked when he noticed her bleeding arm. Feeling completely at a loss, he came to her without worrying about the woman and Luke.    

"It's just a small cut. A bandage is OK." replied Daisy casually. She couldn't read his complicated thoughts  and she thought Edward  was angry because she had broken her promise. 

Mrs. Wu call the family doctor, shouted Edward in a trembling voice. Everyone gathered when they heard Edward's loud voice. They were also shocked when they saw Daisy's bleeding arm, except for Justin. All of them overlooked Annie.

Daisy, how did you get hurt?asked Belinda. She was so worried that she ran to her  at once. And she wondered, how did Daisy, a season fighter, get hurt in a short time? 

Im good, its just a small cut. Chill out, said Daisy. She smiled apologetically, and thought its not serious. Lets not make a big thing out of it. I'm embarrassed.

Shut up. How can a small cut bleed so profusely? shouted Edward. He glared fiercely at Daisy who looked  all nonchalant with her wound. And he frowned as if he was going to give her a good beating.

Gosh! Let me see. said Justin. Instead of shocked, he looked like he barely cared. He ambled  over to Daisy.

And he thought, daddy is making a fuss! Mommy did first aid. The wound is not that serious. She's been hurt like this before a dozen times, maybe more. Im just glad she's home safe and sound.

Excuse me kid, your not a doctor said Leena. She now frowned on everything Justin said. Especially a moment ago when she knew that it was him who had reported her whereabouts to Mr. Cold. She  decided  it was time to play hardball with this little schemer.

 6 yrs. passed she remained quiet, gaining a reputation in the army as a tough as nails colonel. When she walked into his life again, Edward fell inlove with this woman, unlike he had known. She surprised and delighted him.

Sleeping for a lot of time yesterday refreshed my body. I stood up and did some light exercise to loosen up my muscles as they were too stiff. I went towards the bathroom and brushed my teeth and washed up my face.
Today Shirogana-san said we would go to the new school so we could see it. I went back to my room and took some clothes to wear after I took a bath. After having a quick bath, I went to Sora's room and saw he was already up.
He seems to have woken up as his eyes were still half-opened and he has bed hair. He saw me and asked, "Good Morning Rei, Do you need something?"
I shook my head as I casually came to see him. I replied, "No Sora, I need nothing. I came to see what you were doing."
He nodded and waved his hand, telling me to sit. I made my way towards the chair in his room and sat.
I had a doubt, since yesterday, so I asked him, "Sora, why did you and Meiko go to a club rather than the school team?" He and Meiko could go to the school team rather than a club outside.
He turned around and replied, "The clubs give us more exposure than the school team. Many players come from distinct places to play. The clubs also allow us to play with a hardball rather than the softball used by middle school teams. If we are talking about Meiko then, she joined as there are no female baseball teams at the middle school level."
I nodded, as what he said made sense. He then went out to take his bath, and I sat alone in his room. As I looked around, I noticed everything in the room was related to baseball. He had some trophies and other baseball-related stuff.
After a while he came back refreshed, and we both made our way towards the dining room to have breakfast.
Reaching the dining room, Meiko was helping her mom with washing the dishes while Shidou-san and Shirogana-san were reading the newspaper.
I went to help Narumi-san with getting it prepared. After setting the table, we all sat down to eat. The breakfast was simple and tasty. After eating, I helped Meiko to wash the dishes.
We both went to the hall and sat with everyone.
Shirogana-san then said to the three of us, "So, shall we go towards your new school and have a look at it." we three nodded.
We all sat in the car except Shidou-san.
(THIRD PERSON POV )
As everyone except for Shidou sat in the car, Shirogana started the car. Shidou couldn't go with them as he couldn't afford to go outside much in his old age. The three kids sat at the back with Sora in the middle.
She filled the drive with questions about the new school and how it is. The ride wasn't as long as the school was rather close. Reaching the school, Everyone got down.
There was an enormous sign saying, 'SENSEN ELEMENTRY DIVISON', right outside on the wall. The school was very spacious, showing several grounds and facilities. The school had all three divisions in it, So the student strength was enormous. It separated the divisions from each other by separate buildings and entrances, to make it less possible for them to meet.
As the five went inside, the three kid's eyes wandered around. They went to the principal's cabin in the elementary division first. The three divisions had separate principles for better management.
They entered the room and noticed the secretary sitting outside of the principal's room Shirogana went to inquire about their appointment while the rest sat on the chairs.
Rei was nervous about meeting the principal. His feet were tapping the floor, showing his nervousness. Narumi who sat beside him noticed it and kept her hand on his shoulder.
She gave him a reassuring smile, calming him down. Shirogana came back and told them, "Another student is joining so the principal is talking with the parents. We should wait for some time till there's done."
Rei unconsciously sighed in relief. The room they were sitting in was not too large but could accommodate several people. There were several chairs placed for students and teachers to sit down.
Time passed by and the principal's room opened. A couple came outside the room with a girl. The girl had a round face filled with baby fat making her cute. She had long brown hair tied up to a ponytail. She was shorter than Rei and wore a pink top and blue shorts. Her eyes met with Rei's and they stared at each other while she was going. She then turned her head, which was bright red.
Rei didn't understand why she suddenly turned her head. He didn't mind as he didn't know her. The secretary came out and asked them to enter. Shirogana with Narumi entered together with Rei. Meiko and Sora stayed outside waiting for them as it was not their division.
As they entered Rei noticed the room was rather small. Seeing them enter, the principal stood up to greet them.
The principal was an old man. He had wrinkles all over his face. He had a kind smile plastered on his face. He was lean and as tall as Shirogana. He had a clean-shaved face.
The principal greeted them," Hello, you must be Shirogana Kamizao. And this must be Rei Toujou." turning towards Rei.
Hearing his name, Rei turned his attention back to the old man in front of him.
They all sat down. The principal asked some random questions towards Rei, who replied accordingly. The principal did not ask Rei about his family as Shirogana already briefed him about Rei's situation.
Shirogana submitted some required documents and completed the registration. As they settled everything all of them stood up.
The principal then turned towards Rei and said, "You need not feel any tension, Rei. If you have any problems, come to me I will take care of it. There is also a fresh student like you joining your class. It was the girl who came before you."
Rei just nodded and said nothing. He realized the girl was before he will be a classmate of his. But he shook the thoughts out of his head as it didn't matter to him.
The three came out and everyone made their way towards the middle school division for the siblings.

Please be a bit patient for the first volume i.e 69 chapters which might be a bit stale, the first 69 chapters are used to build the characters around Rei and himself.
