After traveling to the world of Naruto, Anlan obtained a system called a god-level store manager, and began to build various shops in the Ninja world: gourmet shops, Internet cafes, pet shops, comic shops, custom shops...

Roselyn walked through the corridor, smiling like an idiot, feeling so happy that she could explode with joy. Andreas asked her out for a real date. She barely could believe it.
She freezes in the middle of the hall, when she remembers she doesn't have a dress. She just had brought a few of her clothes with her. But worse was the fact that she's never had a date before, which made things even more complicated. What was she supposed to do? What could she talk about? She knew nothing about magic, so that was a topic to avoid. She couldn't even talk about herself because he basically already knew all her difficulties, because of the dossier he and the entire council had to examine before admitting her to the school.
In a nutshell, all they had in common, all they could talk about was sex? Roselyn shakes her head. The date was already ruined by her overthinking.
"Why do you look like you've just found out your hamster died?" Karen questioned, staring at Roselyn freed in the middle of the school. "Wait, do you have a hamster? Oh my god, I'm so sorry for your los.."
Roselyn turns around and stares at her bug eyed, "oh. that's serious." Karen continued.
"It is!" Roselyn exclaims walking quickly toward the exit, while Karen tried to keep up with her fast walking. "I have a date. I've never had a date before. In addition, I don't have a dress, I don't know what to do!!" She says freaking out.
"So your hamster didn't die?" She questioned, still puzzled, Roselyn rolls her eyes as a response.
"Alright, I can help you with everything then. I'm free now, let's go shopping and buy a dress!" She shows a cocky wink and confident smile, then she puts her arms on the hips, "But who is your date??"


Roselyn shrugs, trying to ignore that question-
"Tell me or I won't help you!" She half smiled, making Roselyn scoffs.
"But you can't tell anybody." Roselyn replied with a low voice. They reached the garden and were chatting in front of a bench.
Karen nods, eager to know who that mysterious man was.
"Andreas.." Roselyn admits, Karen suddenly puts her hand over her mouth in shock but then smiles "I knew it!"
"He had many girls, and the only one he went out with was Emily. However, before having dates with her, he hanged out with her for years." She noted.
"You think he's playing me?" Rose questioned. slightly concerned after what she just said yet glad because she was feeling somehow special to find out he was paying special attention to her,
"I don't know, but he's not the guy who dates, trust me, I've known in for years and he always leaves the girl when she gets close too much. But maybe he could still have good intentions." she rested his chin in his palm and looked thoughtful.
"You're making me confused!" Roselyn complains.
"Sorry! Look, go for the date and see what happens. You didn't catch feeling already right?"
Roselyn nods no, trying to seem as convincing as possible.
"well don't catch feelings, number one rule. Boys are not worth it, they are just going to break your heart" she states nodding with her head like if she knew exactly what she was talking about.
It was too late for Roselyn not to catch feelings. Every time she was around him she felt like she was safe, like she was standing with an army. She felt like she found the right place, that place where she belonged, near him.
They get in Karen's car so they can drive in the shop that, from Karen's description, it was 'THE shop for all the baddest bitches out there', she said clapping her hands.


When they arrive there, from the outside the shop seemed pretty much normal, but as soon as Roselyn walked in she remains amazed by the sight of such an odd shop. It seemed to come from the future. It had fitting rooms here and there, in which there was what seemed like an electronic device. Clients had to scroll down to check clothes, once they picked one dress they just had to click on it and, somehow, that device would put the dress on clients. She tries to walk in those special rooms, hardly believing that something like that could be possible. When she moves the curtain to walk in, a laser light scan her down, probably to take her measurements and pick the right dress side.
She scrolls down that weird monitor, checking for the right dress. There were dresses of every kind, from short to middle length to long. With every style, from vintage '80'-'90 years to haute couture. It was incredible. That might be the reason why there weren't many clothing shops there, because there was no need for any additional shop if one included at least the amount of 100 shops in the Earth.


"Here it is!" Rose exclaimed enthusiastically.
'Once picked the dress, please spell aloud the code below the selected dress. Thanks for your patience!' she read the reminder that popped out on the desktop. She clears her voice and spell aloud the code.
In a sudden a wind carrying black particles which fly around her body in circular motion slowly wrapping her body from bottom to top, Roselyn spread her arms wide to facilitate the process and in a few seconds she was wearing a beautiful short dress. It was a v neck flared mini skirt dress. Sexy, but still sophisticated. It seemed the perfect, breath-taking dress she was looking for!


She walks out the door to see what Karen thought but as soon as she steps out Karen smiles in awe letting her deduct her approval.
"Bet he's going to propose when he sees you!" She exclaims.
Roselyn giggles at her friend's statement and checks at herself in the mirror admiring how the dress suited her, she takes a twirl and smiles seeing how the skirt swayed and raised twirling.

Ha Eun got up from the sofa, opened the door to her office and told Woo Yeon, in a forceful tone "Get out!"
"Ha Eun…" Woo Yeon said, but she wouldn't listen. 
"We were never in any kind of relationship" she told him, but Woo Yeon couldn't believe her words. He liked her for a long time, and he knew for a fact that she liked him back. 
Woo Yeon scoffs, looking away then looking straight at Ha Eun "You actually expect me to believe that?" he asks her. 
"You want to talk about the past? Fine let's talk!" Ha Eun said loudly "We never went out on a date, we never kissed and in all honesty, the only time a marriage was said out loud was when Mr. Oh and your father were talking about wanting to join their families together. Somehow that conversation hit the news, and everyone thought the marriage was between you and me, but we were never engaged."
"Ha Eun…"
"Don't" she said, raising her hand for him to stop talking "That's enough talking for today. Come back when you're ready to talk business" 
Woo Yeon knew that it was impossible to talk with her when she was angry. She is a very stubborn person. He decided to go or today, but he wasn't going to let things end here. He wanted her to look at him with caring eyes once again. If he had to take Chang Wook out of the picture for her to see him again, then he would do everything in his power to break the two apart. 
He left the office, and Ha Eun closed the door with a loud bang. 
Once outside, Woo Yeon called his secretary "Get me all the information you can on Ha Eun's wedding day, as well as her husband. Something is off about their relationship" 
Woo Yeon's secretary agreed. Once he hung up, he worried about his boss. He knew Woo Yeon liked Ha Eun very much but its been so many years since they last spoke. He was sure that Woo Yeon had moved on, but it appeared he was wrong.
To this day, he still didn't know what exactly happened between the two of them, it was a secret only the two of them carried.

When the day ended, Ha Eun decided to walk over to Chang Wook's department to pick him up and go home together. As she opened the door to her office she saw Chang Wook was about to knock on the door. 
"What are you doing here?" Ha Eun asked him. 
"I came to pick you up" he said, "Let's go home together" Ha Eun smiled at this. They were thinking the same thing.  Chang Wook noticed her smile, he was glad that this small action of his made her happy. 
 In the car, the two of them were silent. It wasn't until Ha Eun noticed that they were taking longer to get home that she realized they weren't headed home in the first place. 
"Where are we going?" Ha Eun asked the driver. 
"I told him to take us somewhere" Chang Wook said. After a while the car stopped in a not so busy street. She looked at the people that were walking by. They all had swimsuits on. She looked at the buildings. All of them were either shops or restaurants.
"Thanks dude" Chang Wook told the driver as he patted him on the shoulder. He got out of the car and reached out his hand towards Ha Eun. 
"Shall we, my lady?" he asked her. Ha Eun scoffed and nodded, taking his hand. Once outside, she could feel a cool breeze. 
"Where are we?" she asked Chang Wook. 
"The beach" he said. Ha Eun looked at him confused. 
"Why?" she asked him. Chang Wook shrugged and took her around the shops. They had some street food and he bought her sandals from one of the tourist stores. 
"You didn't have to buy me sandals" she told him. Chang Wook pointed at her feet. 
"You've been walking in heels all day. Just wear them or I'll worry" he told her. Ha Eun looked down, a grin forming on her face. They sat down in one of the benches outside the store. Chang Wook took this opportunity to take her shoes off for her and place the sandals her bought her on her feet. 
"All set, princess" he said as he looked up at Ha Eun's red face. 
"P…princess? Are we reenacting Cinderella?" Ha Eun asked. Chang Wook chuckled. They continued walking along the street and he noticed something inside a store. He told Ha Eun to wait outside. When he came back out, he had fireworks with him and a bag of snacks. 
The two headed down to the beach and Chang Wook placed the fireworks on the sand while Ha Eun started to eat the snacks. 
He lit all of them and ran back to Ha Eun so they could enjoy the fireworks. Once he sat down next to her the fireworks went off. Although small, Ha Eun couldn't deny they weren't beautiful. She noticed how other people were on the beach and they set off their own fireworks and cheered. 
"Wah…look at those" Chang Wook pointed at a group of people. Ha Eun smiled then stole a glance at Chang Wook. She wished she had his kind of optimism. Everything made him smile, while hardly anything made her smile. She always found a reason why not to…but once she actually spent time with him, she found it easier to smile. 
Today was actually a bad day, yet just being with him made her happy. 
"Oh…I forgot to give you something" Chang Wook turned to look at Ha Eun. She quickly looked away from him. He smiled because he had noticed long ago how she stared at him. She is not subtle at all.
"What did you get me?" she asked him, curious. 
Suddenly he placed on Ha Eun's hand a plush hamster keychain "What's this?" she asked him. 
"A hamster keychain" Chang Wook said, he had a smile on his face "When I saw it I thought you looked just like it" 
Ha Eun got confused by this. Should she be angry that he called her a hamster? She looked at him with her eyebrows furrowed "Please explain" she said. He better give her an acceptable answer before she hits him. 
"Well, hamsters are small, have puffy cheeks that make you want to squeeze and all in all, they are just adorable" Chang Wook smiled "Just like you" Ha Eun widened her eyes, then she quickly looked away from him.
"Thanks" she said. But she kept replaying the word he called her. Adorable. Adorable. Adorable. Adorable.
"Now, are you going to tell me what happened?" Chang Wook asked her. Ha Eun looked back at him. Did he want to know about what happened between her and Woo Yeon today? Is that why he asked her here? Because he knew it ended badly.
"Since the day we went to see your family and met…that guy…you haven't been the same. I wanted to know if you were ready to tell me what happened back then. Whenever 'then' was, I promise to listen to you"
Ha Eun looked at him, her eyes started to water. She looked back down "It's a long story" 
"Then you better get started" Chang Wook said with a smile. Ha Eun looked at him and smiled back. 
"Okay"

Ha Eun is the CEO at OG Group. She is famous for making everything she shows interest in a mega hit in the show-business industry but she's feared by her coworkers because of her stone cold expression and her blunt attitude. Chang Wook is her male secretary. They have worked together for 6 years and Chang Wook can't express how much he hates working for her. When Ha Eun is forced  to choose between giving up her position or getting married, she does what anyone would do...fakes an engagement with her secretary.

"Ah the novel was so cool!"

In a plain and messy office, like one somewhere near you, a company slave is slacking. With a work cabinet full of munchable snacks and her phone out in one hand, she could somewhat survive another soul-draining day at work.

"How about you stop lazing around all the time and just get ... DOING?!"

"Haha good one Mr. Hamster!"

"And stop eating Cheetos! I demand organic baby carrot sticks!"

"Yes yes Mr.Hamster."

"And finish your assignments so you don't get overtime again! Then go home and write stuff!"

"Yes yes Mr. Hamster."

"We shall make our readers shed bloody tears with all that is human suffering! Poison and pain for the characters!"

"Yes yes Mr. Ham- WAIT WHAT?!"

Before the lazy office slave knew it, the adorable fuzzball had clamored over her shoulder and was climbing its way up to the sensative roots of her head. An evil rodent bent on a small scale world domination.

"No no nooooooooo!!!!" she cried, already feeling the tugs on her hair that meant her fingers were no longer her own. No longer hers to click click and control at the key board.

Like a wild movie, or a very fun cartoon, a rodent had taken the lead.

"Bwahahhaha! Now get to writing!"

"I'm at work you crazy gerbil."

"I AM A HAMSTER AND YOU SHALL REFER TO ME ONLY AS GOD OR HAMSTER!!!"

"*sigh* yes yes Mr. Hamster. Can we at least wait till lunch to sneak write my shit webnovel. I literally do not want my assistant manager catching me again."

"Hmmmmm" squeeks the hamster, stroking it's fluffy little chin. If it had a beard it was be a disastardly cute evil. 

"Acceptable, but in sacrafice I demand....More suffering!!!"

At a office desk, maybe near you, there is a for fun aspiring writer and the maybe violently cruel hamster that controls her work. This is their very mundane and terrible daily life.

It comes with snacks.

No editing. A chapter a day. We die like web series authors.

Don't take it too seriously.

What is the dream? Reincarnation? OP life cheats? An ultimate system? An ultimate writing system? Yeah sure does sound nice, too bad this author gets none of that.

The giant red fox snarled towards the team, Mimi flipped out her ninja machetes, ready to slice the fox if it got close. Whereas the other three ran.

"How are yall gonna leave me!" asked Mimi as she began running with her so-called friends. "And where is Vanessa"?

Vanessa was already running zigzags between the bamboo with the baby hamster in her arms.


"Is so cute," she yelled curling the furball in her arms.


Just as the fox approached the escaping Mimi, she created a flash of light in its eyes. It whimpered, smashing its head around. The moment gave her time to nearly catch up with the rest. Each tremble upon the ground sent a signal to the players. A small green and black screen appeared for each of them. The signals allowed odd figures to appear on the radar.


Logan was familiar with the patterns being hamster caves. He called out directing everybody where to run. Luckily Vanessa heard well which direction to run. Unfortunately, Mimi was nearly being eaten again.

Mimi spun quickly to throw a shuriken at the fox's nose. The damage was minimal.

She tripped back watching the fox's teeth come closer. Dani fired at a rapid rate. Like pebbles, her bullets struck the fox. It ran towards her for a bite, allowing Mimi to run towards the hamster cave.

Just as the fox came near, Dani shot a large explosive in its nose. The impact wasn't fatal by any means. Scratching its nose, the fox whimpered again.


Logan and Kiki were already in the hole. Vanessa jumped in with the baby. Mimi and Dani ran behind knowing they were the real ones.

Right when they jumped into the hamster hole, to fox scratched in after them.

"Keep running!" yelled Logan.


"Yo, fuck this trial," said Mimi.


Running for her life next to Mimi, Dani couldn't help sharing her cougar trials, "I remember having to fight for a mountain for my trial".


"Slaughtered an entire village while they were farming," answered Mimi regarding her tiger trials. 

Reading the radar, Kiki and Logan realized the tunnel was coming to a dead end. There was another tunnel that ran near. But they would have to dig to get to it. Looking back, the fox was digging in closer. Mimi and Dani caught up, lost as ever. 


"We have to dig!" yelled Vanessa squeezing the fluffy scurrying baby in her arms. 

Dani wasn't about that digging life, vouching to shoot instead. Everybody else except Vanessa began scratching at the furthest end of the tunnel with their bare hands. 

They banged their fingers against the tunnel. The earth crumbled away to their feet. Vanessa thought to use it to wake a wall until Logan informed her by experience that it was going to fail. 


The fox dug out the tunnel, nearly grabbing Dani. Right when Logan yelled at Dani that her bullets were useless, the tunnel broke down into a cave. Everybody including Dani fell down into an abyss of nothing.

"Nice, you're a certified hamster lover," said Logan staring up from the pile of dirt. 


"I'm always a hamster lover!" squealed Vanessa with her cute baby and legs in the air. 


"Let it go, Logan," demanded Kiki feeling the fluff of dirt ease the blisters on her fingers. 


"Bro, I dead ass broke a nail," said Mimi.  

Dani tried to comfort Mimi by letting her know she put in most of the work in digging. Yet, Vanessa's cuddly hamster was a distraction. Its beady eyes stared into the cave while it lightly kicked to run. Both girls tried to comfort it from scurrying so much. 


"It's a trial, not a theme park," said Logan before loud fox barking was heard. 


"Vanessa, Logan's right. We need to run before they get to us," said Kiki now standing, brushing her hands and legs. 


Vanessa let the baby run loose to lead them to its destination. The little critter dashed onward for its life, leading the girls into a chase. Kiki having noticed why Logan was still laying in the soft dirt asked what was wrong. It was strange to him that they had those radars that seemed to react to movement from everybody as well as the ability to dig well. Alone this was a strange phenomenon given that they no longer had the radars at that moment. 


Rising to his feet, Logan also noted that they outran a fox despite their physical abilities being greatly reduced. Kiki further noted Vanessa was only able to catch the hamster because they were already ahead of it. Easily the two deducted that Vanessa was able to give them hamster abilities by holding the baby hamster. Knowing this, they sprinted to catch up to their team. 


Mimi and Vanessa sprinted after the baby. Both breathed heavily as their sweat flew back. Dragging her feet, Dani mumbled her hate for running. Fuel to ran remained empty even as Kiki and Logan ran past her. 


A stench of crushed wood filled the tunnel. The sign of hamster life was assuring for everybody except Dani who stubbornly walked. Logan trotted back towards her unsurprised by her laziness. 


"You talk all that shit about me and Hakim. Yet here you are," said Logan. 


Coming to a stop, Dani answered, "You have known me for years". She smacked her hands repetitively, "You know I don't give a shit about cardio! You see me get dragged outside on an electric scooter to ride in your funky ass trailer park"!

Logan was allowing Dani to latch onto his back when she continued, "Dani doesn't do cardio, Logan! Never! Ever! Fuck your cardio! And fuck everybody else's cardio"!


His speed down the tunnel caused a breeze to blow away Dani's sweat as she bickered, "You want me to do something? give me something to blow up! Then tell me how many of your friends can do that"!

In the far front, Kiki managed to get Mim and Vanessa in her sight. 


"Catch that baby!" she yelled. 


Vanessa wanted to but was too slow to even come near. Their only reassurance was the strong wood chip scent. 

The baby hamster jumped down into a tunnel going downwards. The girls tried to stop but slid down after it instead. Standing alone, Kiki decided she had no choice to do the same. 

Approaching the hole with Dani on his back, Logan was nearly exhausted for carrying little ole Dani. He looked down realizing the hole was merely a slide that possibly led to the other hamsters. 

After propping Dani to his shoulders, Logan eased himself down the slide after the girls.

Just a place where I can freely write and publish drafts for future events of my story.

Alone this was a strange phenomenon given that they no longer had the radars at that moment. 

Rising to his feet, Logan also noted that they outran a fox despite their physical abilities being greatly reduced. Kiki further noted Vanessa was only able to catch the hamster because they were already ahead of it. Easily the two deducted that Vanessa was able to give them hamster abilities by holding the baby hamster. Knowing this, they sprinted to catch up to their team. 

Mimi and Vanessa sprinted after the baby. Both breathed heavily as their sweat flew back. Dragging her feet, Dani mumbled her hate for running. Fuel to ran remained empty even as Kiki and Logan ran past her. 

A stench of crushed wood filled the tunnel. The sign of hamster life was assuring for everybody except Dani who stubbornly walked. Logan trotted back towards her unsurprised by her laziness. 

"You talk all that shit about me and Hakim. Yet here you are," said Logan. 

Coming to a stop, Dani answered, "You have known me for years". She smacked her hands repetitively, "You know I don't give a shit about cardio! You see me get dragged outside on an electric scooter to ride in your funky ass trailer park"! 

Logan was allowing Dani to latch onto his back when she continued, "Dani doesn't do cardio, Logan! Never! Ever! Fuck your cardio! And fuck everybody else's cardio"! 

His speed down the tunnel caused a breeze to blow away Dani's sweat as she bickered, "You want me to do something? give me something to blow up! Then tell me how many of your friends can do that"!

In the far front, Kiki managed to get Mim and Vanessa in her sight. 

"Catch that baby!" she yelled. 

Vanessa wanted to but was too slow to even come near. Their only reassurance was the strong wood chip scent. 

The baby hamster jumped down into a tunnel going downwards. The girls tried to stop but slid down after it instead. Standing alone, Kiki decided she had no choice to do the same. 

Approaching the hole with Dani on his back, Logan was nearly exhausted for carrying little ole Dani. He looked down realizing the hole was merely a slide that possibly led to the other hamsters. 

After propping Dani to his shoulders, Logan eased himself down the slide after the girls.

The Isekai Game is a vigorous sport where players battle in a variety of themes each month. From magic, alchemy, melee combat, gun slinging, themes, players are forced to fight each other and monsters alike. 



Vanessa finally has her shot at playing and making it to the pro leagues to live a life of wealth, fame, and adventure. But when her small guild of misfits is threatened by an in-game assassin and her "ghost" warns her of a traitor, she feels at the end of her ropes.

I know my first 2 chapters are confusing. I literally give the first 65 chapters free. My story has a "Do now, explain later" rhythm to it. The characters you read on in the first two chapters get fleshed out in the next two chapters.

After finishing cleaning, Zhang Zian opened the shop, letting the fresh air blow in. The sweat also subsided gradually. 

Flipping through the contact lists, he dialed Sun Xiaomeng’s phone number. 

"Come over, I will treat you to breakfast," he said.

"Huh?" One could imagine the astonishment on the other end of the phone.

"Right, come here by driving." He hung up the phone as soon as he finished talking, without waiting for the other’s response. 

The Spirit Curing Pet Clinic and the Amazing Fate Pet Shop were located separately on the south end and north end of Zhonghua Road. The straight-line distance between them was just a few hundred meters. Not long later, Sun Xiaomeng parked her car right outside the door.

She got out of her car doubtfully. "Did the sun rise from the west today? A stingy guy like you would invite me over for breakfast?"

Zhang Zian looked as if that had hurt his feelings very much. "Was there anything wrong with that? Being neighbors, building a good relationship is necessary. Treating you to breakfast is not a big deal."

"Give me a break! Just tell me what you want, otherwise I won’t dare to eat this breakfast!" Sun Xiaomeng did not believe those nice words coming from his mouth. 

Zhang Zian asked, "Thus… Will you be going to your parents’ home today?"

"My parents’ home?" Sun Xiaomeng did not realize what was going on.

"The breeding ground," he reminded her. 

"What are you going to do?" 

"Borrow your car. Of course, I will pay for the gas!"

"My father is stingier than you. In his breeding ground, all pet sales are final, no exchanges or returns!" she responded. 

He asked curiously, "Why would people want to return or exchange?"

"Did you have any customers? I assumed you were about to close your store and were on your way to seek other work opportunities," she said seriously. "If you let me have Galaxy, then I might help you ask a favor from my dad to allow your pets to be returned to him in case they aren’t sold."

"So… this is your opinion! But I’m sorry that you will be disappointed. Except the little hamster I got as a bonus, all the other pets have been sold. I am planning to order more today," he said. 

"Nonsense! When I came here the day before, I saw both the Siamese and the Samoyed were still here. You sold both of them in one day?" Sun Xiaomeng was in disbelief.

According to the consumption levels of most regions in the country, one comprehensive pet shop that was willing to do some advertisements would only be able to sell about two hundred pets per month. Additionally, the majority of these sales came from pets sold at discounted prices, such as the hamster, ranging from ten yuan to a few hundred yuan.

Sun Xiaomeng initially thought that Zhang Zian must have priced his pets too high. Usually, new shops would start off with cheaper prices to build a client base.

As a matter of fact, most newly opened pet shops lost money in the beginning. Some people couldn’t hold it until they started making money. Some closed their stores or switched their careers secretly. Some just went the dishonest path. Being the daughter of a breeding ground, she had seen many such cases. 

"Come in and take a look if you don’t believe me." Zhang Zian did not bother to explain too much, instead directly telling her to come inside and find out for herself. 

Sun Xiaomeng was still in doubt but walked into the store and took a look. To her surprise, the displaying cages were all empty. Zhang Zian gave her the bookkeeping records. 
 
She started looking through it, "Siamese, 3000… Samoyed, 4000… Dates… were both yesterday…"

Zhang Zian felt proud and happy. "I felt my luck was on its way." He curled his finger and counted, "one day seven thousand, ten days seventy thousand, one month two hundred thousand…"

Sun Xiaomeng was speechless. She threw the records back to him. "Enough! Look at you! Don’t even know your name anymore! You could just be lucky! Don’t brag about it! How about this, let’s make a bet, seven days down the road starting from tomorrow, if you can sell one pet a day every day, then I will treat you to lunch for a week. Otherwise…" 

Zhang Zian first thought she would ask him to invite her to lunch for a week, or maybe just give her Galaxy. Instead, she said, "If you are incapable of doing it, then you have to be the cleaning guy for my pet clinic for a day. I noticed that your place is well cleaned, you must be gifted in cleaning… How about this deal? Will you dare to take the bet?"

Similar to Zhang Zian’s situation, Sun Xiaomeng was also very busy working on her clinic, treating the animals, and cleaning the clinic, all by herself. She hated spending money on hiring a cleaner, and it was exhausting work for her too.

He thought for a moment and made a decision.

If he won, then he earned seven free lunches. If he lost, he just had to sweat a bit. Honestly, there was nothing he could lose.

After locking the shop door, they went to the Yonghe Soymilk restaurant first for breakfast, then went straight to the breeding base.

Based on Zhang Zian’s observation, Pet’s Home’s business seemed unwell. It was hard to point to anything specific. However, based on what he saw and heard down the road, business was more sluggish compared to the last time he was here. Many breeding boxes were empty and workers’ faces were taut. He had already noticed these as an outsider, so Sun Xiaomeng would surely be able to see the changes as well. Since walking into Pet’s Home, she had kept her head down. 

Sun Xiaomeng was willing to drive him here, not only because they were good neighbors, but also because she wanted to try her best to help her father. Even selling just one more pet would be better than nothing. 

Inferior markets expelled by the superior markets didn’t only exist in the pet retail market, they even existed in the breeding market… Perhaps it could be said that the cause was from the root. Focusing on foul profit-seeking would eventually lose the consumer’s trust. Once their trust was lost, it would be gone forever.

But Zhang Zian was incapable of changing this situation, at least for now. One in poverty should maintain his own integrity, while one in the wealth should give back to others. What he needed to do was to continue maintaining his pet store business by not ordering pets from those fishy breeding bases. This was the one thing that he could control now. 

Sun Yinian was feeding the pets one by one. He was the owner of the breeding ground but also worked as a regular worker. 

"Daddy! We got a customer. It’s him again." Sun Xiaomeng pouted toward Zhang Zian. "I drove him here."

Sun Yinian got up after hearing his daughter’s voice. He paused for a second, and he seemed to have some problems straightening his back, a soft "ga da" noise coming out. But before Sun Xiaomeng could hold him, he already got his body back up. His face was covered with knife-cutting wrinkles, and there was a lot of gray hair growing on his short-haired head.

"You sold all those pets from last time?" Sun Yinian asked with a raspy voice. 

"Yes, all sold out, except the hamster. This time I was planning to get a few more pets," Zhang Zian replied. 

Sun Yinian pointed with his hand and said directly, "Go and pick them yourself." 

He first picked out a Samoyed and Siamese like last time. The British Shorthair was unexpectedly popular, so he got two of those.These three kinds of pets had already demonstrated their capability to attract more customers. He also selected an American Shorthair cat and a Miniature Schnauzer. He went around the place and picked out a Persian cat too. All of the selected pets were young animals aged from three to five months old. 

To be honest, he wasn’t quite willing to select the Persian cat, due to its hair being too long and it requiring constant grooming. Additionally, it was very expensive, but it was a veritable noble cat. If it wasn’t able to be sold quickly, it would occupy much of his time. He chose it just to put together seven pets for the bet and to better understand the pet market.

Elder Ancestor Bai exited into the wide streets of the Morality City from the office.
He immediately noticed the difference between the Morality City and the others.
There were three layers of the roads stacked upon each other.
The first layer was for pedestrians, the second layer was for civilian cars, and the third layer was mostly empty with an occasional ambulance speeding through.
It looked wasteful.
'What a waste...' Elder Ancestor Bai shook his head. Recalling his own underground city, he could never achieve this.
The underground city had three layers, and the streets were relatively narrow.
After all, they had to take into account the budget for digging tunnels on which roads can be built, it was not the same as above ground.
If it were not for demon rats working restlessly, no organization on Earth would even think to build a city of that size underground.
He was proud of that fact, but he could not help but sigh as he saw the building of the Morality City.
Differences exist between different beings.
Differences would surely exist between different nations.
It was like China and the USA. The latter was truly large with plenty of resources. While the former had only several decades of out of famine, the latter had been able to feast on their meats from eons prior.
Not only was it the largest developed country, but it was also the largest food exporter.
Too bad, when the Era of Vitality arrived, the USA seemed to have been stalled. However, those fundamentally racist white people would not tolerate the supremacy of races other than theirs to reign for long periods of time.
He continued walking slowly on the road.
Rare arboreal plants were planted on the sides of the road. They gave our wafts of fragrance that invokes a reminiscence to grassy greens. Coupled with a nice weather, anyone who experienced the scenery was calmed.
It was early February when spring officially starts. Most of China was still cold and chilly, and woods were still in their withered yellow state.
The shadows of the green arbors were projected to the road, segmented by the three-layered viaduct into sections.

He looked up with a slight hint of curiosity.

'I'm so jealous of that Bodhisattva. He could easily obtain an entire arcane realm just by being on Vigilante A's nice list, instead of spending twenty years underground toiling away for a tiny reward.

As he was thinking, Elder Ancestor Bai wandered forward.
A varied number of shops began to appear on the roadside. They were very exquisitely decorated, well-stocked, and merchandise-versatile.
All those who entered or exited the shop front had been having a smile.
That was the normal part, outside was almost the same.
However, as soon as he walked into one of the shops, he realized an irregularity.
There was no one working in the shop. Everything was self-service, and people would choose the things that they want before going to the counter where they pay for their items automatically.
'How could this be? Aren't they worried that people might steal?
'Can it be that everyone in this Morality City are people of moral, like my child had told me, so it was impossible to have thieves?'
He was in deep thoughts when a voice rang.
"Xiaozhi, how could you take things from the shop at your whim? This isn't right."
A boy in a red T-shirt had taken a red Transformers toy and had hidden it under his T-shirt. He followed his mother and was about to leave the store.
Elder Ancestor Bai nodded slightly, 'That's right. With no one around, there would be people who would take things that they want. Adults may be able to control themselves, but kids won't.'
"Mommy, I want that toy."
"You have enough toys at home, you shouldn't get any more." The mother took the Transformers toy out of his hands and set it back on the shelf.
"I want it I want it I want it I want it..." The kid began to cry and whine loudly.
All the bystanders looked curiously but did not interrupt, choosing to continue their grocery-shopping instead.
The mother smiled. She did not help her son up. Turning to the other people, she said, "Don't worry, let him cry for a bit."
Following that, she turned to the boy kindly and said, "Xiaozhi, don't make it hard for uncles and aunties in the store, go to that corner and cry on your own..."
The boy stood up obediently and ran to a corner, sobbing. It looked like he had already formed a habit of that.
The mother stood aside, watching quietly.
Elder Ancestor Bai frowned slightly at the sight of that.
From a tiny incident like this, he could see the difference between the people here and his Greater Rat Clan.
If a rat was disobedient, would it not be okay to just beat it up? Who would have the patience to educate children that way?
He wandered in the store for a bit and noticed the supplies were abundant.
All those that exist in the outside world, exist here. Even payment methods were similar in the sense that they all used e-wallet apps on their mobile phones to pay.
He was familiar with the payment system, as the ones in his own underground city were even more advanced than the humans' here.
Greater Rats were demons with Demonic Energy, and every demon would have a different energy signature. There was a tool that could determine whose that signature belonged to, and in turn, find out the demons' real identities and their bank account.
Occasionally, some bugs may happen. For example, some stronger demons could imitate other demon's energy signature to pay for them with their victims' accounts...
However, that was not a huge issue. Even humans' bank cards could be cloned and stolen, so there was no such thing as perfect security.
At least, they had been able to set up an account for each rat. All the income and expenditure were managed through it, so it was easy to check if there were an abnormal flow of money.
It might be time to release the Greater Rat Clan's currency.
There was a saying, "Using another country's currency is equivalent to paying tax to said country."
Elder Ancestor Bai was listening to the kid crying when a white hamster toy caught his attention.
He gave it a thought and took the toy.
He only realized that he did not bring his mobile phone when he arrived at the self-service counter.
If there were any workers around, he could have paid with a gold piece.
'What now?'
He looked around. Somehow, all the other customers had left except for the woman with the child.
The woman was sharp. As soon as she felt a gaze upon her, she looked up and noticed the short, old man standing hesitantly in front of the counter.
She glanced at her kid before walking over and asked, "Mister, did you forget to bring your phone?"
"Oh, that's right. When you're as old as I am, your memory deteriorates," said Elder Ancestor Bai, nodding, "can you help? I have a tiny gold nugget as my thanks."
As he finished, he retrieved a piece of gold.
"No, no need for that. Anyone could forget anything when going out. When I used to take public transport, I always forget to bring change. Plenty of kind-hearted people helped me back then." The woman saw the hamster toy in his hand and immediately scanned the barcode on it with her own phone.
Following that, she scanned the payment barcode on the counter and completed the transaction quickly.
"Thank you, I guess plenty of good people still exist," Elder Ancestor Bai exhaled.
"Sir, don't you mean, 'I guess good people still exist?' " The mother corrected.
"That's right, that's right. I guess good people still exist." Elder Ancestor Bai smiled and kept his gold piece instead of insisting the mother to keep it, and left the store.
"What an interesting old man... Xiaozhi, stop crying, follow me home, now! If you don't stop crying, I'll break your dog legs!" The kind mother watched as the old man exited and did a quick glance to make sure no one else was around before barking at the kid who was still sobbing in the corner.
"I... I don't want my legs broken..." The little boy stood up and followed behind his mother compliantly.
"That's more like it. Do you think it's easy to raise you? That heartless one holed himself at the construction site day-to-day, he didn't even want to come home..." The appearance of a kind mother was gone, replaced by a moaning, disgruntled lady.
Elder Ancestor Bai who was right outside naturally heard everything.
'That's right. How would kids be so obedient? It's not like I've never looked after children, I've looked after a dozen and more at once... hmph.'
He looked at the hamster toy slightly and threw it into his interspatial ring before moving on to look at the rest of the city.


Procrastinator extraordinaire, Fang Ning, had lost his consciousness after banging his head on a night of celebration. Isaiah had left and headed to the mall where he bought a few pieces of clothing. He also bought a hamster.

When he got home he was greeted by Xueyun who was lazing about on the sofa. He smiled and laid his head on her lap while she still looked forward to the tv drama. But buy instinct she had already brought he hand to his hair and stroked it.

Isaiah' Damn are these hands of hers magical. Mhh, looks like her cultivation is coming along. She should be as strong as me when I was around 7.'

Isaiah looked at Xueyun for a brief second before standing up. Now that he new fictional world's existed he wanted to take Xueyun to a specific world.

He also wanted to take fen but he didn't know if something would happen to him. He had already tested it out with another human. So he knew he could take Xueyun but fen was a mystery.

He went downstairs with the hamster he bought and teleported into his bedroom in the tower of god on the second floor.

Isaiah quickly checked on the hamster to see if she was alright. He breathed a sigh of relief seeing the thing was alright.

Teleporting back he smiled and looked at the little female albino hamster.' Mhh, I'll name you strawberry.'

Isaiah went back upstairs and put strawberry down. 

Xueyun" Isaiah I'm hungry. Can you make something."

Isaiah" How about going out and eating. I know a place with food that's out of this world."

Xueyun" Really, let's go there then."

Isaiah" But first was going to have to change into something more appropriate."

Xueyun was confused and Isaiah just smiled mysteriously.

30 minutes later Isaiah was downstairs waiting for Xueyun to get dressed. Right now he was wearing some tight beige trousers with a brown long sleeve shirt. Some lether armour and a huge six-foot-long buster sword on his back. He also wore a tattered old brown hood.

As he waited footsteps could be heard from the stairs. As he looked towards Xueyun he couldn't help but gasp in amazement. It was just like the first time he saw her. She was wearing a traditional Chinese Hanfu. It was while it red and black lines on the inner cloth and cuffs.

She also wore a white veil that covered her face and only showed her eyes. But even if the only thing you could see were her eyes and hands she would still make heads turn. 

Not to even mention how the hanfu complimented her already mystifying figure.

Xueyun" what do you think." She smiled looking at his gawking. She knew she looked beautiful, but it was nice to always hear it from the one she loved.

Isaiah" Stunning, I almost forgot to breathe."

Fenrir" Whoool."

Xueyun" Giggle, thank you Fenrir and you also look handsome. Shall we go then."

Isaiah" M lady." He said bowing while holding out his hand. Xueyun took his hand and also did a courtesy bow.

With a smile, Isaiah teleported with Xueyun and Fen to their dining destination.

(Norland Continent)

This was a fantasy land where giant dragons, demons, orcs, elves, dwarves, humans, and many others lived together.

A hundred years ago, all the species on the Norland Continent signed an armistice, putting an end to the war among all species that lasted for a thousand years. Therefore, all of them got a chance to rest and recover in their respective lands.

However, a thousand-year-long conflict could not be settled once and for all with just a piece of paper; regional conflicts continued but were normally kept to the border areas as if secretly agreed upon. No large-scale war among different species was waged.

Xueyun" Is this the place. Where are we anyway."

Isaiah" This is the Norland Continent. Where in chaos city where one of the best restaurants are. You might even get addicted to the food here. Now let's go."

They both disappeared. Isaiah couldn't be bothered with the guards so he teleported right into the city.

In a corner of Aden Square, there was a restaurant called Mamy Restaurant. Normally there would be two lines of customers waiting to get in and taste Mr mags delicious food. Sadly a few idiots ruined that by attacking the restaurant.

Goodenia" Over there!" Goodenia called out through gritted teeth in a carriage.


Two carriages pulled over in front of Mag's restaurant. Goodenia and Devoe jumped off the first one; a young magic caster in a black robe and a young knight in silver armour with a sword came out of the other.

Mamy Restaurant? Devoe thought, narrowing his eyes. I don't come here often, but I don't remember ever seeing such a fancy restaurant here.

The metallic signboard was gleaming in the sun; the door was made of rosewood with a delicate handle.

What amazed Devoe the most was the crystal glass window. The skills, time, and money that went into making this flawless piece of crystal glass must have been unbelievable. It's worth at least thousands of dragon coins, I think.

Johnnie walked up to the door and saw the notice. "I don't think anyone is in, Boss. The door is locked."

Devoe laughed. "We should teach him a lesson. Slash that door to pieces!" he said, pointing.

"Fine," Gabriel replied, disappointed. He slid his sword out of its scabbard and slashed at the door.

A 3rd-tier knight's slash was enough to cut down a big tree.

Goodenia looked very excited. He had thought about taking vengeance, but he was a coward. He was very glad someone would avenge him.

And Devoe was doing a great job—he knew just how far to go without getting themselves in trouble. 

Things like this were pretty common in Chaos City, and the Gray Temple had more urgent matters to attend to, so the owners of those shops had to grin and bear it more often than not.

There will be a few chinease novels but the main one will centre around Reincarnation Of The Businesswoman At School. So there will be similar dialog. But not everything will be just copy and paste.
